SUNROOF EXPLODED WHILE DRIVING ON EXPRESSWAY. *TR
Blower motor stops working about every 1.5 years. It was initially reported as a blower motor recall and the dealer replaced it twice but it went out a 3rd time about 2.5 years ago. They searched for the problem after realizing they had replaced the blower motor twice but could not locate the defect, at which point they charged me over $300.00 for their efforts to locate the problem. They wanted to keep looking for the problem but I told them no, just put it back together that I wasn't going to pay them to search for their defect. I have since been told by someone who claimed to be a mechanic for Hyundai that it is a computer chip problem that requires them to pull a lot of things on the dash to replace the chip and it is not cheap. I have a mechanic that is trying to get the chip and install it for me but I won't know for certain that this is the problem until the chip is replaced. I have driven the car for about 2.5 years without heat or air conditioning but can't work when it rains because the windshield fogs up in the rain and I can't see. I also can't drive the car when I can't get the windshield cleared of ice. Now the engine is burning oil but there's no recall for that issue according to your website. The car now has 173,624 mile on it.
WHILE GENTLY WASHING THE CAR THE SHARK STYLE ANTENNA BREAKS OFF. THIS IS THE CASE FOR HUNDREDS OF OWNERS. THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PART. DEALER CHARGE FOR REPAIR IS $400.00 TO $500.00 DOLLARS. PARKED IN DRIVEWAY.
I HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY ENGINE. FOUND OUT THE ROD BEARING WAS GONE. CALL HYUNDAI AND POWER TRAIN WARRANTY EXPIRE WEEKS BEFORE IT HAPPENED. HAD TO SWAP ENGINES ON THE CAR BECAUSE IT WAS BAD. ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE BURNING OIL REALLY BAD. I ALSO HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION GEARS DROPPING OUT OF NO WERE. LAST TIME IT HAPPENED WHEN I WHEN TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN AND SHIFT IT INTO 2ND GEAR AND WHEN IT SHIFT TO 3RD IT DROP TO 1. THANKFULLY THERE WASN'T ANY OTHER CAR BEHIND ME. IT WOULD OF DEFINITELY COST AN ACCIDENT AND HAD MY 1 YEAR OLD WITH ME. I TALK TO HYUNDAI AND TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T DO MUCH ABOUT IT BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ANYONE ELSE WITH SAME ISSUES.
MY CAR HAS PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION, THE CAR FIRST LOOKS AS HAVE PROBLEM WITH THE IGNITION (STATIONARY) BUT THEN YOU MOVE TO DRIVE OR R DO NOTHING, BUT THE REAL PROBLEM IS THAT HAVE ONLY 30000 MILES AND I JUST PAY MY LAST PAYMENT TWO WEEKS AGO. THE OTHER THING IS THAT THE HYUNDAY PAGE DO NOT HAVE OPTIONS TO FIND A DEALER NEAR ME WHEN I WRITE MY ZIP CODE. I SENT MY CAR TO PROBLEMS WITH THE TIRE SENSORS AND THEY DO NO REPAIRS, I FEEL I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN THEIR SUBCONTRACTED REPARING DEALERS, THEY PUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE GUARANTIES INTO SUBCONTRACTED REPAIR DEALERS.
CAR HESITATES AND WOULD NOT GO. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BEGAN TO BLINK. HAS DONE THIS A FEW TIMES WHEN PULLING OUT IN FRONT OF PEOPLE. IT HAPPENS RANDOMLY AND HAS HAPPENED TWO OR THREE TIMES.
A/C FAN SPEED CONTROL STOPPED WORKING, ONLY OWNED THE CAR FOR 3 YRS. 75000 MILES. PULLED HVAC UNIT FROM THE DASH TO FIND MELTED CONNECTORS ON THE WIRING HARNESS AND THE BACK OF THE FAN SPEED CONTROLLER. A SEARCH ONLINE HAS TURNED UP A PLETHORA OF OTHERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE IN 2012-2015 VELOSTERS. THERE'S SIMPLY TOO MUCH AMPERAGE RUNNING THROUGH THE CONNECTION FOR THE HIGH SPEED FAN SETTING WITH IMPROPER MATERIALS USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PARTS TO HANDLE IT. SIMPLY PUT; THIS IS A STRAIGHT UP FIRE HAZARD. THE FACT THAT THERE E BEEN SO MANY COMPLAINTS, YET NO ACTION ON HYUNDAI'S PART IS NEGLIGENT.
THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WENT BAD RIGHT AFTER 60000 OR 62000 TO BE CORRECT. I ALSO HAD A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME ON THE NEXT WEEK, SO WE TOOK TOOK THE CAR BACK IN AND WAS TOLD IT NEEDED A NEW ENGINE. THIS ALL MAKING NO SENSE TO ME AT ALL, THEY SAID THEY FOUND METAL PIECES IN THE OIL PAN.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HESITATED WHEN BEING PLACED INTO DRIVE, THE ENGINE MADE AN ABNORMAL THUD SOUND, THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME STUCK, AND THE BRAKES MADE AN ABNORMAL WHINING SOUND. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO EMPIRE HYUNDAI (428 PLEASANT STREET, FALL RIVER, MA 02721) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE FAILURE WAS NORMAL AND WOULD CORRECT ITSELF. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Veloster. The contact stated that sometimes the driver-side window would not engage when the button was depressed to roll the window up or down. The contact stated that she had to shake the window for the window to engage when the button was depressed. The contact also stated that due to the window ceasing, the contact was not allowed to open the driver-side door from the inside. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with the interior trim, the window regulator, and the trunk latch needing to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure occurred. The contact took the vehicle to another dealer where it was diagnosed with nothing needing to be replaced. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 57,244.
A/C, HEATER, DEFROST, AND HAZARD INDICATORS ARE FUNCTIONALLY INTERMITTENT.
THE HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY DIM AND VERY LOW VISIBILITY AT NIGHT TIME HAVE TO DOUBLE CHECK THEYRE EVEN ON AND WORKING ESPECIALLY WHEN RAINING AND AT NIGHT TIME I WAS DRIVING HOME TWO NIGHTS AGO TGE WEATHER WAS VERY BAD AND I HAD TO TRY MY HARDEST TO BE ABLE TO STAY IN RIGHT LANE AND AVOID DEBRIS FROM THE WIND AND RAIN AND DRIVE BELOW SPEED LIMIT AS WELL CANT SEE IF THERE IS ANYTHING IN ROAD LIKE POT HOLES DEBRIS ETC
WHILE DRIVING WITH MY SUNROOF CLOSED, I STARTED HEARING A STRANGE POPPING, CRACKING NOISE. A FEW SECONDS LATER, THERE WAS A LOUD BOOM NOISE FOLLOWED BEING SHOWERED BY BROKEN GLASS SHARDS. MY SUNROOF EXPLODED, OUT OF THE BLUE. NO COLLISION, IMPACT, OR FAST SPEEDS. IT WAS THERE ONE MINUTE AND GONE THE NEXT.
CYLINDER 1 HAS BEEN MISFIRING. HAS THE ERROR CODE P0301. I TOOK IT IN TO HYUNDAI AND THEY SAID IT WAS JUST A SPARK PLUG. CHANGED SPARK PLUGS AND COIL PACKS AND THE PROBLEM RESOLVED FOR A FEW MONTHS AND NOW IS WORSE. MISFIRES/BACKFIRES IN THE ENGINE WHEN PRESSING GAS. LOUD POPPING SOUND COMES OUT OF THE ENGINE. THE CAR ALSO DOES NOT DRIVE PROPERLY. IT IS SHAKY WHEN DRIVING.
DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION FAILING. INTERMITTENTLY BOOT OT ENGAGING INTO R OR D GEAR AND SLIPS OUT OF GEAR WHILE DRIVING ON STREET OR HIGHWAY. I'VE DONE RESEARCH AND IT APPEARS THIS IS A VERY COMMON CONCERN FROM A HIGH NUMBER OF HYUNDAI VELOSTER OWNERS. I CONCIDER IT DANGEROUS AS HOW IT HAPPENED TO ME WHILE DRIVING TRYING TO ACCELERATE, GEAR SLIPPED OUT AND VEHICLE ONLY REVED HIGH AND NO ACCELERATION. LUCKILY NO FAST TRAFFIC WAS BEHIND ME. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN WORST. THIS HAS HAPPED TWICE AND HYUNDAI HAS YET NOT FOUND A FIX AND TOLD ME THEY CANT FIND PROBLEM AS THERE IS NO TROUBLE CODES REGISTERED IN TRANSMISSION. MILEAGE WHEN FIRST HAPPENED TO ME WAS ABOUT 50K AND SECOND TIME AT 90K. EVERY MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN BEEN PERFORMED TO VEHICLE WITH RECORDS.
THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILS TO SHIFT. THE RPM'S WILL INCREASE BUT THE SPEED WILL NOT. THE TRANSMISSION WILL NOT RE-ENGAGE UNTIL THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED. THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AND ACCELERATING, USUALLY WHILE I AM ON AND INCLINE AND AFTER THE TRASMISSION HAS BEEN THROUGH FREQUENT SHIFTS AT HIGH RPM'S. I HAVE VIDEO BUT IT IS TOO LARGE TO UPLOAD. THE PROBLEM CAN BE VIEWED ON YOUTUBE WITH A VEHICLE EXPERIENCING THE IDENTICAL PROBLEM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2015 HYUNDAI VELOSTER. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE DASHBOARD. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AS THE ENGINE STALLED. THE CONTACT OPENED THE HOOD AND OBSERVED FLAMES AROUND THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 53,000.
WHEN THE CAR IS FIRST TURNED ON AND PUT INTO REVERSE IT PERIODICALLY WILL NOT GO INTO GEAR. IF YOU PUT THE CAR BACK INTO PARK AND THEN INTO REVERSE IT STILL WILL NOT GO INTO GEAR. YOU MUST PUT THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL AND THEN INTO GEAR. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE IN THE PAST TWO MONTHS. WE HAVE RECORDED THE TRANSMISSION NOT GOING INTO GEAR AND BOTH HYUNDAI OF AMERICA AND OUR DEALER ARE DOING NOTHING. I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT IF THEY CAN'T REPRODUCE IT THEMSELVES 'IT IS OPERATING AS DESIGNED'. THIS IS A MAJOR COMPONENT OF ANY CAR AND IT HAVING GEAR CHANGING ISSUES MAKES ME CONCERNED THAT IT COULD ESCALATE BEYOND THIS.
ALL THE SENSORS ARE CONTINUAL REGISTERING PROBLEM. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WILL STOP WORKING DAILY. CANNOT HAVE HOOD SHUT WHEN KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION. IF SO ALARM WILL GO OFF. SUSPENSION IS OFF. IT SEEMS LIKE THE CAR IS PULLING A CAMPER ALL THE TIME. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CONTINUALLY GETTING WORSE THE PAST 6 MONTHS.
Back in 2015 my dad bought me a brand new Veloster Turbo. Within the first 100 days of ownership my car had multiple electrical power outages. I would be driving at a speed of 55mph (Speed Limit) and all of a sudden the car would stop working. The gas didn’t work and all the electrical parts went out. This event happened multiple times but off and on. When I took it to the dealership they didn’t experience the issue so they couldn’t resolve it. I had a case against Hyundai but they didn’t care. From the Whistleblower that just came out against Hyundais safety protocols I have a firm belief Hyundai knew that there engines were faulty and my life was almost taken. Another incident was on the freeway driving the speed limit and all of a sudden everything stops working and turns off. Almost got killed that day due to cars almost hitting my car on the side of the road. I have had so many issues with my car and its been at a dealership for 3 weeks now. Another electrical issue has happened after they installed a new engine. It happened off an on and wouldn’t start randomly. The battery was great and everything checked out. The dealership is now looking at my car because they experienced the issue themselves. I am looking for a settlement due to safety protocols being ignored.I have proof from Laguna Niguel Hyundai and the problem should be documented by them. However the dealership seems sketchy and very bad customer service. I have been worried about this ever since the first problem. Its been a roller coaster and has almost cost me my life.
APPROXIMATELY 1 YEAR AFTER PURCHASING MY VEHICLE (ROUGHLY 2017) WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY MY FAN CONTROL KNOB STARTED SPINNING FREELY, IT STILL WORKED BUT CONCERNED I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP WHO ALL BUT DISMISSED THE COMPLAINT. A FEW MONTHS LATER THE KNOB STARTED WORKING INTERMITTENTLY AND WOULD ON OCCASION CUT OFF THE FAN IF I WERE TO HIT A BUMP. BY THE END OF 2019 THE KNOB HAD COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING. I HAD HELD OFF ON GETTING IT REPAIRED AS IT IS AN EXPENSIVE FIX AND AFTER DOING QUITE A LOT OF RESEARCH I DISCOVERED IT IS AN EXTREMELY COMMON ISSUE WITH MY MAKE AND MODEL CAR. IT POSES A SERIOUS HAZARD AS WHERE I LIVE IT IS EXTREMELY HUMID AND COLD DURING THE WINTER MONTHS AND NO AMOUNT OF WIPING AND CLEANING THE WINDSHIELD GETS RID OF ALL OF THE FOG MEANING IT POSES A REAL THREAT BY LIMITING VISIBILITY.
TRANSMISSION WOULD HESITATE WHEN GOING FROM A COMPLETE STOP TO TRYING TO GO. THIS ISSUE ALSO OCCURS IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY STOPPED OR WHILE GOING UP A HILL AT SLOW SPEEDS.
KUMHO KH TIRES ARE DANGEROUS. THE TIRES ON THIS VEHICLE DO NOT QUALIFY FOR TAMY CURRENT RECALL. THEY DESPERATELY NEED TO BE RECALLED AND REPLACED DUE TO POOR QUALITY, SEPARATION AND LOOSING AIR. MANY VELOSTER OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND DEVELOP AN ACTION PLAN TO REMEDY THIS PROBLEM. MANY THANKS!
I WAS DRIVING THE 2015 VELOSTER TURBO ON A STRAIGHT PORTION OF THE FREEWAY BETWEEN 65 AND 70 MILES PER HOUR WITH THE SUNROOF OPEN. THE SUNROOF SHATTERED UNEXPECTEDLY, AND GLASS FLEW BOTH INTO THE CAR, AND OUT BEHIND THE CAR. THE GLASS LANDED ON MY ARMS, HEAD, LAP, AND WENT DOWN MY BACK AS WELL. I SWERVED TO THE RIGHT AS A REFLEX TO BEING STARTLED, AND THEN OVERCORRECTED AND WENT LEFT PAST MY LANE. I DID NOT HIT ANY CARS, HOWEVER. GLASS KEPT FALLING ON TO THE FREEWAY, INTO THE CAR, AND ON MY HEAD FOR A FEW MORE MINUTES AS I MADE MY WAY TO THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT. ONCE AT THE DEALERSHIP, I INSPECTED THE DAMAGE AND FOUND THAT THE GLASS SHARDS HAD MADE MANY CUTS INTO THE PAINT TOWARD THE BACK HALF OF THE CAR. THE DEALERSHIP LATER HAD ME CIRCLE THESE SCRATCHED WITH A WAX PEN. INITIALLY, I WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED A DIAGNOSTIC FEE, BUT WHEN I MENTIONED THAT THIS HAD BEEN AN ISSUE FOR PREVIOUS YEAR MODELS, ANOTHER SERVICE CONSULTANT JUMPED IN AND TOLD ME IT WOULD ALL BE TAKEN CARE OF UNDER WARRANTY.
I JUST NOTICED THAT ON MY RIGHT FRONT TIRE THERE IS A BUBBLE ON IT'S SIDE WALL. THE CAR LEASED NEW BACK IN JULY OF THIS YEAR. THE TIRES ARE THE KUMHO SOLUS KH25. I'VE ALSO NOTICED HERE ON THIS SITE, I SEEN A COMPLAINT FOR THE SAME THING. I'M HAVE AN APPOINTMENT ON MONDAY TO SEE WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO TELL ME. AS FOR SPEED CONTROL. THIS CAR CANT GO ABOVE 55MPH - 60MPH WHILE ON HIGHWAY NORMAL CURVES WITHOUT THE REAR SWAYING WHILE RUN OVER DIVIDER LINE ON THE PAVEMENT. LESS SPEED WHEN IT RAINS. I'M REALLY HAVING DOUBTS ABOUT THIS CAR ONCE IT STARTS TO SNOW.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CHANGED GEARS BY ITSELF WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE DEALER UPDATED THE COMPUTER. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE DAYS LATER AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO THEN CHANGED THE GEAR SHIFT ACTUATOR. THE FAILURE RECURRED WITHIN 24 HOURS AND THE VEHICLE WAS ONCE AGAIN TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE GEAR SYSTEM WAS COMPLETELY DISLOCATED, UNABLE TO SHIFT INTO REVERSE OR DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER AND PROVIDED THE CONTACT WITH A LOANER VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND CONTINUED TO CHECK ON THE CONTACT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,900.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2015 HYUNDAI VELOSTER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH, THE SUNROOF SHATTERED. AS A RESULT, THE PASSENGER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS UNDETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,246.
STARTED CAR STEERING WAS HARD COULD NOT TURN . RESTARTED STEERING WAS BETTER. DEALER TOLD WIFE BRING TO DEALERSHIP WITH THEM KNOWING STEERING PROBLEM . THEY TOLD HER NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM AND WILL TAKE TWO MONTHS TO CORRECT. CAR ONLY SEVEN MONTHS OLD. PAID CASH SO I HAVE NO OPTIONS.
I HAD MY 2015 VELOSTER AT THE DEALER 5 TIMES FOR THE AUTO TRANS SOUNDING LIKE THE AXLES WERE BAD WHEN GOING INTO REVERSE. TRANS WAS FLARING UP BETWEEN 1-2 & 3-4 BUT WAS TOLD IT WAS NORMAL.THAT WAS 5200 MILES. AT 14314 THIS BAD CV JOINT NOISE STARTED & AGAIN WAS TOLD IT WAS NORMAL.AT 20859 TRANS WAS REPLACED PER THE HYUNDAI FIELD ENGINEER. BOTH PROBLEMS STILL THERE. NEVER EVEN GOT IT HOME BEFORE NOISE STARTED. BACK IN AT 25878 WITH BOTH PROBLEMS AS OF YESTERDAY & NOW THEY ARE SAYING ITS A CHARASTIC OF THE VEHICLE. THIS VEHICLE TRAVELS 240 MILES PER DAY AS U CAN SEE BY THE MILAGE. IF THESE AXLES OR CV JOINTS LET GO MY WIFES LIFE COULD BE IN DANGER AT 70 MPH. DDEALER INSISTS NO PROBLEM & I HAVE NOTIFIED HYUNDAI OF AMERICA & THE BBB AUTO LINE WITH NO CALL BACK AS OF YET. TNX FOR YOUR HELP IN ADVANCE
I HAVE REPORTED AN ISSUE TO RONNIE FREEZE, SERVICE MANAGER AT O. B. , MS. HYUNDAI IN APRIL 2015. LESS THAN 3 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE. I HAD ENGINE AND STARTING FAILURE FOR 15-25 MINUTES AFTER A CHECK SENSOR CODE POPPED UP. I GAVE THIS CODE TO SERVICE, AND ALL THEY COULD SAY WAS, 'WELL, I NEVER HEARD OF THAT'. LET ME KNOW IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. AND IT DID, AND I REPORTED IT, AND... NOTHING. SAME OLD THING, DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT COULD BE. WELL AFTER THE THIRD TIME, I BEGAN TO FEEL THE CAR RUNNING STILL EVEN WHEN THE KEY WAS REMOVED. SOUNDS CRAZY BUT I HAD MULTIPLE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO WITNESSED THIS ISSUE. SCARY THAT I REPORTED THIS ALSO, BUT NOBODY KNEW ANYTHING TO DO. MR. FREEZE AT OLIVE BRANCH HYUNDAI ACTED LIKE I WAS CRAZY. I KNOW WHEN THERE IS AN ISSUE AND I SAY THAT I HAVE HAD ONE SINCE I SIGNED PAPERS ON 01/23/2015. I AM EXTREMELY LUCKY THAT A FIRE HASN'T STARTED WITH MY VEHICLE APPARENTLY NOT COMPLETELY SHUTTING DOWN. I FEEL THAT SOMEONE HAS KNOWN ABOUT THE CURRENT SITUATION WITH THE ENGINE AND I ALSO FEEL THAT I PURCHASED A LEMON THIS TIME WITH HYUNDAI. I LOVE MY CAR AND TRULY HATE THE FEELING OF NOT KNOWING IF I WILL BE SAFE THE NEXT TIME I GET IN MY VEHICLE TO DRIVE ANYWHERE. I FEEL THAT A SATISFACTORY RESPONSE IS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY FROM HYUNDAI AS TO WHAT I SHOULD EXPECT FROM THEM. I NEED ANSWERS RIGHT AWAY. IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG OR HYUNDAI TO DECIDE WHAT THE SOLUTION WILL BE. I NEED A RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY NOW! I NO LONGER PUT 100% TRUST IN HYUNDAI. WHAT COULD THE RECALL COVER? A REPLACEMENT ENGINE, AND REPLACEMENT ROD BEARINGS, AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DAMAGED? I FEEL LIKE HYUNDAI HAS FAILED MAJOR BY NOT DOING ANYTHING TO REMEDY THE DEFECT IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME!! I DON'T HAVE A SAFE CAR TO DRIVE ANYWHERE NOW. I WANT ANSWERS.
I HAVE HAD 3 VELOSTERS BRAND NEW, THEY COME WITH KUMHO SOLUS KH25 AND THEY ALL DEVELOPED SIDEWALL BUBBLES, EACH TIME I CANN FOR A WARRANTY THEY DENY ME SAYING ITS MY FAULT, YET MANY OTHERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUES. problem with car engine has been recall for several years, brakes have been recall for 2-3 years now my emissions are mess up from recall engine which now i do not have a car to drive, being a heart patient, veteran, it is hard without one and i can't afford a new one i have done all Maintenace and everything on my end to keep it going. engine eats oil, loses compression on road knocking had in shop twice still no fixing the problems my engine light is on i have been told by dealer my car can catch on fire from brakes and engine getting hot in the cabin jerks tried to cut out on me several times afraid to drive it anymore. hyundai is putting everything off until it blows us up i guess. can you help me? i wrote to hyundai corp and sent contacts through the computer no response back wiper doesnt work or gps all broke in it, never use the back wiper but once,also clogged catalytic converters confirm by hyundai dealership
