I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FROM HUUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA REGARDING A SAFETY RECALL WITH ENGINES LEAKING OIL FROM THE FRONT CYLINDER BANK'S VALVE COVER ONTO THE ALTERNATOR. AS A RESULT, IT DAMAGED THE ALTERNATOR RESULTING DISABLEMENT OF THE CHARGING SYSTEM. THE ENGINE SHUT OFF AND CNA INCREASE THE RISK OF CRASH. I TOOK IT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND CALLED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE (3/18/21 CASE # 18073112) AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE NO RESOLUTION. NOW, MY CAR IS COMPLETELY NOT DRIVABLE. I HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC SHOP TO REPLACE THE GASKET AND ALTERNATOR. I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT HYNDAI MOTOR SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST.
