Car has unintended acceleration that can only be stopped by turning off ignition key. This happens without warning. When stopped and foot on brake car accelerates to top rpm then brake goes to floor resulting in no control of car.

I was driving my car and heard a loud sound and then my airbags went off. I lost control on my steering and was able to coast the car to shoulder. The airbags deployed even though there was no collision with another car. Under further inspecting it looks as if all the bolts came loose on the drive Trane. I have no idea why the airbags went off. I did sustain an minor injury to my hand. police were called, fire trucks checked for possible fire hazards. I looked for recalls and or air bag malfuctions for this year make and model but did not find any. Had I not been in the far right lane I could have been in a serious accident. The airbags deploying scared me. Both the driver and passenger side airbags went off. I was the only one in the vehicle.
My heater and AC lights kicks on and off causing my windows to fog making it easy to have an accident. There is a ticking as well but no lights
This vehicle hit my car and we are trying to find the owners
I was driving on Business Highway 85 in Thomasville, North Carolina on a clear, cool day. There were no other cars on the road, and no overpasses. While traveling at about 60 miles per hour, all of a sudden there sounded a loud bang overhead, like an explosion. I immediately pulled over to discover the sunroof was completely shattered, appearing to have exploded from the inside out, with the glass pointing upward toward the center. Luckily, the sun shade was closed or glass would have flown all over myself and my son in the backseat. Also fortunate that no other cars were on the road, as glass would have flown at any cars behind me as well. I reached my destination and cleaned up the glass and vacuumed it so as not to endanger anyone while driving. I have not had the car inspected yet, but it is available for inspection. There was no warning whatsoever of this happening, and I am certain nothing fell on the car. There was nowhere for anything to fall from and there was nothing in the crevice but shattered glass.

[XXX] salesman [XXX] ([XXX]) [XXX] owner 11/2/21, I brought my 2004 Infiniti g35 to Monro muffler/brake 431 main st East Hftd Ct 06118 [XXX] due to a noise in the tire area. The Inspection shows there is Bondo filler placed in rotten holes and sprayed with black spray paint (underbody cover up). oil leaks, drive shaft problem. right front axle, steering rack leak, Knock sensor, rear shocks, oil filter housing leak. 11/2/21 I bring the vehicle to Infiniti dealer 150 Weston St Hartford CT 06120 [XXX] ext.[XXX] The diagnosis the car is unsafe, will not pass a safety inspection, will not pass emission, multi leaks, oil cooler seal, incorrect trans line, clamps leaking, axle seal, valve cover, cam sensor, right axle inner joint is failing coming apart, Bondo filler in rotten holes sprayed black and structural damage. 11/6/21 I went to Hot wheels and talked with [XXX] and [XXX] . [XXX] offered $2,000 for the car which is not a fair price. Then [XXX] stated he will call his welder. 11/10/21, I drove the car to Standard Welding 212 Prospect St East Hartford Ct 06108. R[XXX] is the person I talked with. Rick called [XXX] with no response from [XXX]. [XXX] says take the car back until he talks to [XXX]. 11/10/21 [XXX] calls me stating bring the car back to Standard Welding 11/15/21 or 11/16/21. 11/16/21, I brought the vehicle to [XXX]. [XXX] nor I had any clear clarification about Hot Wheels not paying for the rotted holes, just the structural part. I called[XXX]. [XXX] and I talked with [XXX]. There was a problem with [XXX] for the cost$3,500.00. [XXX] says bring the car. I bring the car to Hot Wheels [XXX] states he's done. I ask for a refund and I didn’t receive one . THE HEAT AND AC CONTROLS POP ON WHEN IT WANTS.THE STEERING WHEEL LEFT SIDE WHICH CONTROLS MUSIC VOLUME AND POWER ALSO WORKS WHEN IT WANTS .I'LL BE DRIVING AND HEAT TURNS ON ITSELF THE RIGHT OF THE STEERING WHEEL WORKS ALL THE TIME CRUISE CONTROL ALSO WORKS JUST THE LEFT OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND AC/HEAT WHOLE PANEL
VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET WHEN THE ENGINE SEEMED TO ACQUIRE A LIFE OF ITS OWN AND SPED UP, UNRESPONSIVE TO DRIVERS APPLICATION OF BRAKES FOR SEVERAL SECONDS.AS DRIVER BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO A STOP, A PUFF OF WHITE SMOKE EMERGED FROM UNDER THE HOOD.

ON OCTOBER 5TH, 201O I WAS DRIVING IN LOS ANGELES ON BEVERLY GLEN AND STOPPED FOR A RED LIGHT. MY 2004 G35 INFINITY'S ENGINE RACED WHILE MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE AND TOOK OFF AT A HIGH RPM AND COULD NOT BE STOPPED. MY CAR HIT A VAN RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY G35 INFINITY AT THE RED LIGHT. MY CAR WAS TOTALED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. *BF CONSUMER STATED RPM VALVE WAS REPLACED.*JB
STERO AND CLIMATE CONTROL INTO. CAN'T CONTROL STERO FROM STEERING WHEEL. A/C STUCK ON HIGH. OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING. I STOPPED , WHEN I GOT BACK IN CAR AND STARTED IT RADIO AND AC CONTROLS WERE GONE. THE MONTH OR SO PRIOR THE CD PLAYER QUIT AND RADIO WOULD POP IN AND OUT.
VDC & SLIP LIGHTS KEEP COMING ON CAR SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING & IS HARD TO START BECAUSE OF THIS & SLIDES. SENSORS BANK 1 & 2 HAVE BEEN REPAIRED & STILL THE SAME ISUUE AGAIN
VEHICILE GOES INTO SAFE MODE WITHOUT WARNING AND SLOWS TO ABOUT 20 MPH PUTTING PASSENGERS IN DANGEROUS SITUATION IN HEAVY TRAFFIC ON INTERSTATE.
RECALL NUMBER R2022 INFINITI RECALL R3021 THERE IS A RECALL FOR SOME INFINITIS BUT NOT MINE BUT IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUES AS THIS RECALL A FAILED CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR AND FAILED CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR LIKE ON THE RECALL ABOVE EXCEPT MY VIN DID NOT MATCH THE VEHICLES THAT WERE RECALLED ALTHOUGH THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME MY VEHICLE FALLS INTO THE MAKE MODEL AND YEAR OF WHICH THE RECALL WAS MADE. OUT OF NOWHERE MY CAR WILL SHUT OFF AT HIGH RATES OF SPEED AND AT LOW RATES OF SPEED WITHOUT ANY WARNING MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AS WELL AS OTHER LIGHTS AND THE CODE IS FOR THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR FAULTING AND THE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSORS FAULTING. THE CAR CAN BE IN MOTION AT 5MPH OR EVEN AT 70MPH AND THE CAR WILL COMNPLETELY DIE WITH NO CONTROL OVER THE VEHICLE AS THE STERRING WHEEL LOCKS UP COMPLETELY. NOT SURE WHY OTHER INFINITI G35 COUPES WERE COVERED UNDER THIS RECALL BUT IM HAVING THE VERY SAME ISSUES AS THE OTHERS WITH FAILED SENSORS
THERE WAS CONSTRUCTION DONE ON MY ST 15 NINTH STREET LAST WEEK CONES WERE PUT ON THE STREET AND THEN RECENTLY REMOVED AFTER. AFTER WORK I PULLED UP TO PARK MY CAR AND IT SUNK IN A HUGE HOLE WHERE THE CONSTRUCTION WAS DONE MY CAR IS NOW STUCK AND CAN NOT MOVE AT ALL IT NEEDS TO BE TOWED IN ORDER TO MOVE THERE IS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE DONE TO MY VEHICLE AND NO TELLING WHAT OTHER DAMAGES WILL OCCUR WHEN PULLING MY VEHICLE FROM HOLE, I FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE WITH WAITING FOR CITY TO COME AND INSPECT AND PULL MY VEHICLE OUT DUE TO THE FACT IAM NOT AT FAULT AND I WILL NOT BE RELIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT OCCUR WHEN PULLING MY VEHICLE FROM HOLE.
RECENTLY I WAS TRAVELING ON THE FREEWAY, NOT UNDER AN OVERPASS AND THERE WAS NO ONE IN FRONT OF ME. I ROLLED MY WINDOW UP AND SHORTLY AFTER THAT THERE WAS A LOUD CRASHING SOUND OF SHATTERING GLASS, I LOOK IN MY REARVIEW MIRROR TO SEE THAT THERE WERE A TON OF BLACK SPECKS COMING FROM MY CAR. I CRACKED THE SUNROOF COVER SLIGHTLY ONLY TO FIND A SHOWER OF GLASS AND A HOLE IN MY ROOF WHERE THE SUNROOF USED TO BE. I CLOSED THE COVER BACK UP SO I WOULDN'T GET ANYMORE GLASS IN MY CABIN OR ON ME, FOUND SOMEWHERE TO PARK AND INSPECT MY VEHICLE. I FOUND THAT THE GLASS HAD SHATTERED UPWARDS (AIR PRESSURE MAYBE???) EITHER WAY, THIS SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED, I AM NOW TERRIFIED OF HAVING A SUNROOF BECAUSE WHY WOULDN'T IT SHATTER AGAIN LIKE THAT? IT WAS ONE OF THE SINGLE MOST TRAUMATIZING EVENTS THAT HAVE EVER HAPPENED, I COULDN'T EVEN IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LIKE IF THE COVER WAS OPEN! I COULD HAVE GOT LITTLE GLASS SHARDS IN MY EYES AND THE OUTCOME COULD HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY WORSE.
GAS TANK NEVER REACHES FULL. WHILE PUMPING GAS GAS STATION PUMP STOPS PERIODICALLY EVEN THOUGH TANK IS NOT FULL. GAS GAUGE READS INCORRECTLY. HAVE TO KEEP STOPPING AND ADDING GAS TO MAKE SURE TANK IS FULL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 INFINITI G35. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL, BUT THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY ACCELERATED RAPIDLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED AT LEAST NINE TIMES. NALLEY INFINITI IN MARIETTA, GEORGIA WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REQUESTED THAT THE VEHICLE BE BROUGHT IN FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,000.
MY CAR HAS DISAPPEARED AND IT'S BEEN CLOSE TO 8 MONTHS AND I'M STILL UNABLE TO FIND ITS WHEREABOUTS CAN YOU HELP ME?

1. TAKATA RECALL INFORMATION SITE SAYS MY CAR'S VIN NUMBER HAS 0 RECALL. MY CAR IS OVER 12 YEARS OLD, AND I LIVE IN FLORIDA. ANY CHANCE OF IT EXPLODING IN SUCH AN OLD CAR? 2. WHEN IGNITION IS STARTED, ON OCCASION, CAR HAS SCREECHING SOUND WHEN ENGINE IS COLD AND CAR IS NOT IN MOTION. DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME. ALSO OCCASIONALLY WHEN BRAKE IS APPLIED, IT 'MOANS'. IT ALSO SCREECHED RECENTLY WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED TO STOP WHEN CAR WAS ONLY GOING 2-3 MPH. 3. LIGHT INDICATOR SAYING EITHER OIL (OR WATER?) THIS CAR HAS EXCESSIVE BURNING OF OIL AND IT IS WELL KNOWN IN THE FORUMS FOR G35 DRIVERS. THIS IS FOLLOW UP ON A COMPLAINT I JUST MADE. I HAD THE CAR'S OIL CHANGED WITH SYNTHETIC AND ALWAYS MAKE SURE IT IS CHANGED EVERY 3-5000 MILES. THOUGH THE CAR BURNED OFF NEARLY 4.25 QTS OF OIL IN UNDER 4,000 MILES CAUSING DAMAGE TO MY ENGINE, THE OIL LIGHT NEVER CAME ON THE WHOLE TIME EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE CAR. THE MECHANICS I WORK WITH INDICATED THAT THEY HAD THE SAME EXACT CAR AND HAD BLOWN 3 OF THE EXACT SAME ENGINES BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM. THIS IS ABSURD. PLEASE NHTSA PLEASE HELP CONSUMERS THAT ARE HAVING BLOWN ENGINES DUE TO THE LACK OF COOPERATION BY INFINITI. *TR
AUDIO FINISHER CIRCUIT BOARD HAS FAILED CAUSING FAILURE OF AUTO HEAT AND AC CONTROL TO FUNCTION CAUSING WINDOWS TO FOG CREATING AN UNSAFE CONDITION. THIS IS A WELL DOCUMENTED ISSUE AND AN EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE REPAIR.THIS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED FOR 2003 MODELS WITH NHTSA 100001246 AND NHTSA 100001162, INFINITI SHOULD RECALL THE 2004
THE CAR BURNED NEARLY 4.2. QTS OF OIL IN UNDER 4000 MILES. MASSIVE NUMBER OF USERS INDICATE SAME PROBLEM OF INSANE AMOUNTS OF OIL CONSUMPTION ON VARIOUS FORUMS ON THE INTERNET. THIS IS MOST LIKELY ALSO A SERIOUS SMOG VIOLATION IN CA AND ALSO IS CAUSING ENGINES TO BLOW UP. NUMEROUS MECHANICS WILL VERIFY THAT THEY HAVE SEEN THE SAME PROBLEM WITH ENGINES BLOWING AT UNDER 100,00 MILES DO TO EXCESS OIL CONSUMPTION. I HAVE PROOF OF MY LAST OIL CHANGE AND NUMBER OF MILES. ALSO THE AMOUNT OF OIL THAT CAME OUT OF MY CAR WAS LESS THAN A QUARTER OF QUART AFTER ONLY 4,000 MILES OF DRIVING. MY MECHANIC VERIFIED THAT THERE ARE NO LEAKS. PLEASE NHTSA! PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE FURTHER. 20,0000 DOLLAR CAR IS BASICALLY TOTALED NOW. ALL DEALERS AND NISSAN REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A HIGH POSSIBILITY THEY KNOW OF THE PROBLEM AND ARE HIDING IT. ALSO, THE AIRBAG LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR THREE YEARS AND NO MATTER HOW YOU RESET IT, IT WILL CONTINUALLY RETURN TO BEING ON, INDICATING SOME SORT OF PROBLEM WITH THE AIRBAGS. *TR

WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT A SPEED OF 65 MILES WHEN MY CAR SHUT OFF; I'M BLESSED THAT I WAS DRIVING ON A TWO LANE HIGHWAY AND MANEUVER OVER QUICKLY WITHOUT ANOTHER CAR REAR ENDING ME. AFTER SITTING FOR 10 MINUTES THEN THE POWER KICKED BACK IN. WHAT COULD BE THE ISSUE......NOW THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT IS ON SO IS THE SLIP AND VDC LIGHT AS WELL. I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING THIS PROBLEM FOR AT A MONTH WHILE DRIVING CAR CUTTING OFF. BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME CAR COMPLETELY CUTTING OFF AND LIGHTS COMING ON (SERVICE ENGINE, VDC, AND SLIP) THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON. MY AIRBAG LIGHT HAS BEEN BLINKING SINCE I TOOK OWNERSHIP OF VEHICLE IN NOVEMBER 2015. THE CURRENT VEHICLE MILES IS 152,000. *TR
BOUGHT THIS CAR USED LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AGO AND DROVE IT BACK FROM CHICAGO 6.5 HOURS. CAR HAD A TERRIBLE TIRE HUM/VIBRATION WHICH SEEMED TO BE COMING FROM THE FRONT RIGHT AND WAS ALMOST UNBEARABLE. I CHOCKED IT UP TO MAYBE THE TIRES NOT BEING ROTATED ON SCHEDULE AND DECIDED TO PURCHASE 2 NEW TIRES FOR THE FRONT ASAP. I HAVE HAD THE NEW ONES ON NOW FOR LESS THAN 100 MILES AND THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS ALREADY STARTED FEATHERING. SO I FIGURED IT WAS AN ALIGNMENT ISSUE, HAD THE ALIGNMENT CHECKED, WHICH WAS ON POINT, AND NO ISSUES COULD BE FOUND WITH THE SUSPENSION DURING THEIR INSPECTION EITHER. DECIDED OKAY, MUST BE THE TIRE OR THE RIM SO I SWAPPED THE FRONT RIGHT WITH THE LEFT AND IN ONE (1) DAY (20) MILES IT TOO HAS STARTED TO FEATHER AND I STILL GET THE SAME HUM/VIBRATION FEEL AND NOISE. THE NOISE AND VIBRATION IS PATTERN LIKE IN NATURE. SO I DECIDED HIT THE GOOD OL INTERWEB TO RESEARCH THIS AND FIND THAT I'M NOT ALONE. SEEMS A GOOD MANY OF OWNERS COMPLAIN ABOUT THE VERY SAME ISSUE WHICH IS VERY COMMON WITH THE G35 AND IT'S COUSIN THE NISSAN 350Z. APPARENTLY, IT'S ACCEPTABLE AND YOU'RE LUCKY IF YOU GET 12000 MILES OUT OF TIRES AND THE NOISE AND VIBRATION IS JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS OWNERS HAVE TO DEAL WITH. I'M SORRY BUT I FIND THAT TO BE UNACCEPTABLE! I UNDERSTAND THERE'S MAINTENANCE COST INVOLVED IN OWNING A CAR, NEW OR USED, BUT TIRES ARE NOT CHEAP IN THE FIRST PLACE AND HAVING TO PURCHASE A PERFORMANCE TIRE TO BOOT ONLY STINGS THE POCKET THAT MUCH MORE. NOT TO MENTION A SAFETY ISSUE. INFINITI SHOULD REALLY LOOK INTO THIS AND FIND OUT WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM IS AND FIX IT. ONE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT TIRES GOING BAD SO QUICKLY, MUCH LESS HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BUDGETING FOR A NEW SET OF TIRES EACH YEAR OR SOONER BECAUSE THEY'RE WEARING TO THE POINT OF CONCERN OF SAFETY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 INFINITI G35. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE CRANK POSITION SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,490.
AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED AND DEPICTED COPIOUS TIMES ON MULTIPLE SITES, MY 2004 G35 (BUILT IN 2003 AND PURCHASED 11/03 W/ ONLY 43,544 MILES) STALLS W/O WARNING. ENGINE AND VDC LIGHTS SHOW ONLY AFTER ENGINE STALLS. IF IDLE RPMS ARE INCREASED TO 1,000, TO PREVENT STALLING, THE ENGINE IDLE LOPES NOTICEABLY. THIS SAFETY ISSUE HAS OCCURRED BOTH WHILE STOPPED (STOP LIGHTS/SIGNS) AND WHILE DRIVING 4 OUT OF THE LAST 4 TIMES DRIVEN. RESEARCH INDICATES THE FIX CONSISTS OF CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR AND CRANKSHAFT ANGLE SENSORS. IT IS PATENTLY OBVIOUS THAT REGARDLESS OF MILEAGE (I.E. 100K+ OR IN MY CASE 43K MILES) THE ENGINE WILL STALL, JEOPARDIZING THE SAFETY OF THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER(S) RESULTING FROM BEING HIT BY OTHER VEHICLES, THEREBY ENDANGERING THE OCCUPANTS OF ANY/ALL VEHICLES. THIS ISSUE SHOULD NOT BE THE CAUSAL FACTOR FOR INDIVIDUALS BEING HURT/MAIMED/KILLED DUE TO AN OBVIOUS ENGINEERING/MANUFACTURING ERROR BY NISSAN/INFINITI, NOR SHOULD AN OWNER BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR A BLATANTLY OBVIOUS MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT'S, BY BEING REQUIRED TO PAY FOR A SYSTEM BEYOND THEIR CONTROL AND THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ACTUAL MANUFACTURER. PLEASE RESEARCH THE WARRANTY AND REPAIR ORDERS, AS WELL AS THE MYRIAD OF THE EXACT SAME COMPLAINTS BY CONSUMERS, REFLECTED ON ON-LINE SITES AND FORUMS. THIS SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO RISE TO THE LEVEL OF THE AIR BAGS, EXPLODING GAS TANKS, ETC...RESULTING IN SIGNIFICANT INJURY OR DEATH. RESPECTFULLY.

THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED NUMEROUS TIMES BEFORE THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP. THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF AND SMOKE EMITTED FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THERE WERE NO FLAMES VISIBLE. AFTER RESTARTING, THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
2004 INFINITI G35 LOST POWER WHEN DRIVING. SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT AS WELL AS VDC LIGHTS ARE ON. IT IS HESITANT TO START AFTER THAT. HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST ONE TIME EACH DURING THE LAST THREE TIMES THE CAR WAS DRIVEN. MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AS THE IT HAS HAPPENED WHEN TURNING AT A MAJOR INTERSECTION. LUCKILY WE WERE ABLE TO COAST THE CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. SAME ISSUE EXIST ON THE 2003 G35 IN WHICH THERE WAS A RECALL FOR, BUT NONE EXISTS FOR THE 2004 MODELS. CONTACTED INFINIT IN WHICH I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO ACTIVE CAMPAIGNS FOR MY MODEL, EXCEPT FOR THE SIDE AIRBAGS. WAS TOLD THAT THIS WOULD BE TREATED AS A REPAIR (SUBJECT TO VERY HIGH DEALER COSTS) AND NOT A RECALL. I HAVE FOUND MANY OTHER POST ON THE INTERNET WITH THE SAME ISSUE FOR THE SAME MODEL AND THE SAME COMPLAINT THAT IT IS NOT ADDRESSED BY INFINITI. HOW HAS INFINITI VERIFIED THAT THIS DOES NOT EXIST IN OTHER MODEL, ESPECIALLY BEING SO CLOSE THE 2003 AND 2004?!? THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE.

CAR WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE 2 CODES FOR THE CAMSHIFT POSITION CENTER WERE GIVEN. THE CAR IS HARD TO START AND OFTEN DIES DURING IDLE TIME. WHEN CHECKING ON THE RECALL, MY VIN WAS NOT ONE LISTED, HOWEVER IT APPEARS TO HAVE THE SAME CAMSHAFT SENSOR IDENTIFIED BY INFINITI.

PERFORM RECALL P0339 G35 SAB CONNECTOR ITB10-034. ACCORDING TO INFINITI THEY WANT ME TO FIRST PAY TO FIX MY PASSENGER SEAT AS MY PASSENGER SEAT SWITCH IS BROKEN AND WILL NOT MOVE BACK AND FORTH. THIS WILL COST ME $300.79 TO FIX THE PASSENGER SEAT SWITCH FOR THE PART. THE DEALERSHIP SHOULD HONOR THE RECALL WITHOUT ME HAVING TO FIX ANOTHER PART OF THE CAR. I'M NOT IN A POSITION TO SPEND ANOTHER 300 + LABOR CHARGES TO REPAIR THE SEAT AS TIMES ARE ROUGH WITH WORK AND FINANCES.

THEY CHARGED ME STATING THAT IT WAS ALL FIXED BUT IT DID THE SAME THING ON SATURDAY 9/12/15. 2004 IS NOT A YEAR IMPACTED BY THE RECALL YET I'M HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AS THE 2003 RECALL.

A FEW DAYS LATER I WAS DRIVING AND THE ENGINE QUIT AGAIN AND THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I CHECKED THE MANUAL AND IT SAID I COULD CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE CAR. I TOOK THE CAR TO A REPAIR SHOP AND THEY CHECKED HE COMPUTER CODES AND SAID IT WAS A CAM SENSOR, A CRANK POSITION SENSOR OR A VARIABLE TIMING CONTROL SENSOR OR COMBINATION OR ALL THREE. THEY THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS A RECALL ITEM. I SEARCHED AND DISCOVERED THAT INFINITI RECALL 3021 WAS ISSUED AS WELL AS RECALL 01V357. THE DEALER SAID THAT MY CAR WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL. THE CAR POSES A SAFETY ISSUE TO ME AND OTHER DRIVERS. WHY ISN'T THIS COVERED BY RECALL?
