TRUCK CUTS OFF WHEN I MAKE TURNS OR IF I STOP AT A STOP LIGHT. WHEN YOU TRY TO START THE TRUCK BACK UP IT HESITATES AND WHEN IT DOES START BACK UP IT STUTTERS. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE TRUCK ALL OF A SUDDEN WHILE FLASH A LOW OIL LIGHT AND SAY LOW OIL PRESSURE AND I JUST HAD MY OIL CHANGED AT THE DEALERSHIP. NOW IT WON'T PICK UP SPEED PAST 10 AND A MESSAGE IS POPPING UP THAT SAYS CHECK SOMETHING ELECTRICAL. I CAN'T EVEN DRIVE THE TRUCK BECAUSE I'M AFRAID I'M GOING TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. I WAS DRIVING HOME TODAY FROM WORK AND BARELY MADE IT. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ISN'T EVEN ON. BUT IT'S NOT SHIFTING GEARS IT IDILES UP AND JUST STAYS STUCK I HAVE TO TAKE MY FOOT OF THE GAS TO TRY MAKE IT CHANGE WHILE DRIVING ON THE CITY STREETS. ARKANSAS HAS A LOT OF HILLS AND I HAVE TO GO UP ONE TO GET HOME AND I ALMOST DIDN'T MAKE IT UP THE HILL IN TRAFFIC BECAUSE THE TRUCK STARTED STUTTERING AND THE OIL WARNINGS STARTED FLASHING.
ON DECEMBER 6, 2019, DURING A RETURN TRIP FROM LOUISIANA TO TEXAS, THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD TURNED ON AND OFF TWO TIMES OVER A SEVEN HOUR PERIOD WHILE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY. ON DECEMBER 19, 2019, THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT TURNED ON AS I WAS LEAVING THE HOUSE. IT STAYED ON FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES AND THEN WENT BACK OFF. THIS WAS WHILE WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET. I HAVE SEEN A TOTAL OF THREE EVENTS WHERE THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT HAS SWITCHED ON AND THEN OFF WHILE DRIVING.

THE VEHICLE LOST MOTIVE POWER WHILE DRIVING THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO START THE VEHICLE AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED FOR HER SAFETY DUE TO THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, WITHOUT WARNING THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED. CLASSIC CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM, 1102 WALTON DR, TEXARKANA, TX 75503, (903) 716-0600, WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER REFUSED TO PROVIDE A DIAGNOSTIC ON THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V739000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, CASE NUMBER: 71381485. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33523.
WHEN I ACCELERATE MY VEHICLE AFTER A STOP OR GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY, IT STALLS AND OR STUTTERS. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN. I HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT BECAUSE MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE WHEN I HAD MY FOOT ON THE GAS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT IMMEDIATELY RESPOND WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL HAD TO BE TURNED APPROXIMATELY 1/4 OF AN INCH IN EITHER DIRECTION BEFORE THE WHEELS WOULD RESPOND. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER COLBY DODGE (1000 TAYLOR AVE COLBY KS) WHO PERFORMED A STEERING MODULE UPDATE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 22,000.
WHEN DRIVING AT EXPRESSWAY / HIGHWAY SPEEDS OF 60 PLUS FOR A NON STOP 30-50 MILES, THERE IS ALMOST LIKE A "DEAD SPOT" IN THE STEERING. WHEN I MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL ABOUT 1/4" TO THE LEFT OR THE RIGHT IT FEELS LIKE IT IS CATCHING ON SOMETHING WHEN MAKING SMALL WHEEL ADJUSTMENTS WITHIN YOUR OWN LANE, IT ALMOST FEELS AS IF YOUR TIRES BREAK LOOSE, BUT ON DRY PAVEMENT. WHEN THE STEERING THEN CATCHES. IT ALSO FEELS LIKE THERE IS GUST OF WIND ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE. IT THEN JERKS BACK AND FORTH. THERE IS ALSO A BURNING SMELL FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THIS STARTED AT 5500 MILES. I HAVE A 2019 JEEP OVERLAND. IT COULD EASILY BECOME DANGEROUS. HAD IT AT ZEIGLER JEEP IN SCHAUMBURG IL ON 11/9/2019 AND THEY RECODED MODULE AND COUND NOT RECREAT THE PROBLE. IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING MORE AND MORE FREQUENTLY SINCE THEN. WENT BACK ON 12/26/19 AND TOOK THE TECH FOR A 1.5 HOUR TEST DRIVE AND EVERYTHING HAPPENED AS STATED ABOVE. THE TECH FINALLY RE-CREATED THE PROBLEM. MY NEW 2019 JEEP OVERLAND HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP SINCE THEN. THEY ARE SENDING ENGINEERS IN FROM JEEP. ALL I WANT IS A SAFE CAR. PS; THIS IS MY FIRST JEEP PRODUCT.
I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE TRAIL HAWK FROM AN AMARILLO TEXAS DEALERSHIP. I NOTICED WHEN I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE THE HOOD WAS SHAKING AND THE WIND WAS PICKING IT UP LIKE IT WAS LOOSE. I TOOK IT IN 3 TIMES TO HAVE IT FIXED. THE FIRST TIME THEY SAID THE FACTORY MISALIGNED THE HOOD AT THE FACTORY AND THEY REALIGNED IT. IT STILL WAS SHAKING AND COMING UP. TOOK IT BACK 2ND TIME THEY ADJUSTED IT AGAIN, TOOK IT HOME SAME PROBLEM, NOT FIXED. TOOK IT BACK A THIRD TIME THEY LOOKED AT IT SAID THEY DID ALL THEY COULD DO TO FIX IT. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING A BRAND NEW VEHICLE THAT IS UNSAFE ON THE HIGHWAY. MY HOOD STILL CATCHES AIR PULLS UP AND SLAMS DOWN AND AN ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON 3 TIMES. I HAVE CHILDREN THAT RIDE IN THIS CAR. I DON'T DRIVE ON WINDY DAYS BECAUSE I FEEL UNSAFE IN THE CAR. IT FEELS LIKE THE LATCH ON THE HOOD IS GOING TO GIVE WAY AND MY HOOD IS GOING TO COME UP AND HIT MY WINDSHIELD. I AM PROTECTED UNDER THE LEMON LAW AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT THIS SAFETY CONCERN. I NEED AN INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED ON MY VEHICLE . AS OF RIGHT NOW IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. MY HOOD DOESN'T SIT FLUSH WITH THE BODY OF THE CAR AND YOU CAN FIT ALL OF YOUR FINGERS IN THE GAP BETWEEN THE HOOD AND BODY OF CAR. *TR
MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK THE TIRE SENSORS "GO OUT" WHILE DRIVING AND I HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK TO HAVE THEM RESET.. APPROXIMATELY 20 MILES DOWN THE HIGHWAY AFTER RESET, THEY GO OFFLINE AGAIN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED, LOST BRAKING AND STEERING ABILITY, AND THE BATTERY WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAIT A FEW SECONDS AND THE VEHICLE RESTARTED NORMALLY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURES OCCURRED FIVE OTHER TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MEDINA CHRYSLER JEEP (3205 MEDINA RD, MEDINA, OH 44256) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT IT WAS NORMAL FOR THE VEHICLE TO CONSUME AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF OIL. THE DEALER FURTHER STATED THAT IF THE OWNER DID NOT KEEP TRACK OF THE OIL CONSUMPTION, "IT WAS NORMAL FOR THE ENGINE TO SEIZE". THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL ON HOW TO MAINTAIN OIL CONSUMPTION FOR THAT TYPE OF ENGINE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,995.
ON NOV16 AT THE PARKING LOT , WHEN I TOOK OFF AT 5-8MILES,MYSTERIOUS NOISES UNDER HOOD LIKE HIGH MOTOR ROTATION. I RETURNED TO PARK AND CHECKED AREAS UNDER HOOD, DISPLAYS ON DASHBOARD SUCH AS BATTERY VOLTAGE AT 14.6V, ENGINE OIL LIFE AT 34 % ,ETC. II SHUT OFF ENGINE.,I TOOK OFF TOTHE DEALER AT THIS TIME NO NOISE AT ALL. ON NOV18 MORNING,I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30-40 MPH WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH TO YIELD FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC FOR A RED LIGHT.AFTER THE LIGHT CHANGED TO GREEN, I STARTED TO DRIVE AND AROUND AT 10 TO 15 MPH AND ACCELERATED .HOWEVER,RPMS INCREASED TO AROUND 5,000 AND THE VEHICLE SPEED STAYED ONLY AT AROUND 25 MPH WITH HIGH MOTOR ROTATION SOUNDS. THEREFORE, I CONTINED TO DRIVE AT THE LOW SPEED AND TRIED TO FIND THE SAFE PLACE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.THE, I SHUT OFF ENGINE AND CALL THE DEALER TO TELL THE PROBLEM . THEN I TOOK OFF AGAIN BUT THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO DRIVE WITHOUT A PROBLEM AT THIS TIME.UNFORTUNATELY, THE SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED ON NOV20 AND NOV21. I FINALLY BROUGHT A VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND SHOWED THE VIDEO ON NOV21. AND THEY FIXED THE VEHICLE ON NOV25. THEY EXPLAINED OIL LEVEL WAS LOW TO THE BOTTOM OF DIPSTICK AND 400 MILES OVERDUE ON OIL CHANGE STICKER. I TOLD THEM OIL LIFE INDICATOR DISPLAYED 34 % ON NOV16. BUT THEY SAID THAT DON'T TRUST SYSTEM AND CHECK OIL CHANGE STICKER AND MAKE SURE TO DO OIL CHANGE EVERY 5000 MILES.I ASKED WHY OIL LIFE INDICATOR IS NOT CORRECT. THEY SAID ONLY 2.4 LITER ENGINE NEEDS OIL CHANGE EVERY 5000 MILEAGE FOLLOWED BY OIL CHANGE STICKER. I COMPLAINED TO FIX OIL LEVEL INDICATOR THE. THEY SAID THEY CHECKED ALREADY 100 TIMES AND INSISTED TO FOLLOW A STICKER.THEY ALSO SAID THEY HAD 50 CUSTOMERS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AT THIS DEALER.THEN, THE SYSTEM SHOULD BE RECALLED FOR THE SAFETY. ONE OF INCIDENTS AT THIS TIME MIGHT CAUSE A CAR CRASH BEHIND ME AS MY CAR WAS AT 25MPH ON 50MPH MAX SPEED ROAD.
I GOT THE VEHICLE AT 5 MILES. THE DEALER TOLD ME THE OIL CHANGE IS EVER 5K MILES. I DECIDED TO MAKE A SMALL TRIP TO CANADA, SO BEFORE HEADING THERE I CHECK THE FLUIDS. ( JUST IN CASE) AND NOTICE THE DIPSTICK ON THE OIL IS 75% AND I CHECK THE OIL LIFE DASHBOARD AND IT STATES IS AT 85% OIL LIFE. I ASSUME IT WILL BE FINE AND MAKE THE TRIP AROUND 1500 MILES ROUND TRIP TOTAL. I DIDNT CHECK THE FLUIDS COMING BACK TO THE CITY TILL LIKE 2 MONTHS AFTER SINCE I USE THE CAR ONLY FOR COMMUTING AND GROCERY SHOPPING. I WAS NEARING 5K MILES AND THE I CHECK THE ENGINE AGAIN (BEEN OFF FOR ACTUALLY COUPLE OF DAYS) AND THE OIL LEVEL ON THE DIPSTICK IS ROCK BOTTOM. SO I ADD 1 QUART OF THE MANUFACTURER'S STATED OIL AND CONTINUE DRIVING IT TILL IT HITS 5K. I TAKE IT TO THE DEALER THEY DO A QUICK OIL CHANGE AND THEYR SUPPOSED USUAL INSPECTION AND SAY EVERYTHING IS FINE. OIL CHANGE IS FINISHED AND THEY PUT A NEW STICKER AT 10005K MILES EXACTLY 5K MILES MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDS OIL CHANGE. I CONTINUE DRIVING IT AND SLOWLY RACK UP 2K MILES AND CHECK THE OIL LEVEL WHICH HAS GONE CONSIDERABLY FROM FULL TO HALF DIPSTICK. KEEP IN MIND IT WAS A COLD OIL INSPECTION AND THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN OFF FOR MORE THAN 5 HOURS. I DRIVE IT AGAIN 1K MILES MORE AND THE DARN OIL LEVEL DROPS TO 25% OF DIPSTICK. EVEN MADE A FACEBOOK POST IN A JEEP PAGE AND THE MECHANIC ADMITTED THAT THESE 2.4L ARE OIL BURNERS AND THAT NO NEW VEHICLE SHOULD BE CONSUMING OIL LIKE THAT. I TAKE IT TO DEALER ASAP AND THEY TELL ME EVERY OIL CHANGE IS 3K MILES NOT THE 5K MILES AND WRITE ON MY VISIT PAPER I TOOK THE VEHICLE LATE FOR OIL CHANGE. I'M WRITING THIS AT ALMOST 8500 MILES AND JUST TOOK A PICTURE AND VIDEO OF INSPECTION.THE DIPSTICK HAS GONE DOWN AT LEAST 10% DOWN .. ALSO HAD A VEHICLE SHUT DOWN BEFORE OIL CHANGE THAT'S WHY I ADDED THE QUART OF OIL BEFORE THE 5K MILES.
NEW 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE LATITUDE BATTERY NOT CHARGING TO START THE CAR. START/STOP SYSTEM NOT WORKING DUE TO BATTERY CHARGING CODE, A/C CHANGES SETTING BY ITSELF. IT STARTED ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO, GETTING WORSE BY THE DAY.
I HAVE A LOT OF HESITATION WHEN EXCELERATING. I AM SCARED OF MY VEHICLE. I AM AFRAID I AM GOING TO GET INTO ACCIDENT . I HAVE TAKEN JEEP IN TO BE CHECKED WAS TOLD NO RECALL BUT THEIR IS SOMETHING VERY SERIOUSLY WRONG MY JEEP CHEROKEE PLEASE HELP I'VE ONLY HAD IT TWO MONTH.
I PURCHASED A 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE TRAILHAWK ON 11/11/2019. THAT SAME EVENING THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, UCONNECT, AND LIGHTS ALL CUT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. THIS CAUSED THE ENGINE CONTROL TO BE CUT AND DTC'S FOR BRAKES, ESC, TRANSMISSION, AND THE SHIFTER. THANKFULLY THE FIRST FEW TIMES THIS HAPPENED ON A STREET WITH HEAVY TRAFFIC DURING RUSH HOUR AND I WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. IT HAPPENED AGAIN ON THE SECOND DAY WHILE IN MOTION ON A SIDE ROAD AND AGAIN THE THIRD DAY EXCEPT WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. AFTER THE THIRD DAY, I SCHEDULED IT FOR SERVICE AT A LOCAL JEEP DEALER. UPON HAVING MY VEHICLE FOR FIVE DAYS, THE DEALER DISCOVERED A CORRODED/FAULTY GROUND AND MADE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS PICKED UP ON 11/18/2019. IT DROVE GREAT UNTIL 11/20/2019 WHEN THE POWER ONCE AGAIN WAS CUT FROM THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, UCONNECT, AND LIGHTS. THIS ALSO RESULTED IN A LOSS OF ENGINE CONTROL WITH THE SAME ARRAY OF DTC CODES BEING DISPLAYED AND ALSO OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING. I WAS ABLE TO SAFELY PULL OFF THE ROAD AND RESTART THE VEHICLE. THANKFULLY THIS HAPPENED ROUGHLY A MILE FROM THE DEALER AND I WAS ABLE TO LIMP THE JEEP THERE. THEY CHECKED THE CODES AND ADVISED ME TO BRING THE VEHICLE BACK IN THE MORNING. ON 11/21/2019 I RETURNED THE JEEP TO THE DEALER WHERE IT IS CURRENTLY BEING WORKED ON AGAIN. THIS VEHICLE IS AN EXTREME DANGER TO NOT ONLY MYSELF BUT TO OTHER MOTORISTS THAT COULD POTENTIALLY COLLIDE WITH ME DUE TO THE RANDOM AND UNPREDICTABLE NATURE OF THE ISSUE. I AM SO CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE THAT I WILL NOT ALLOW MY CHILDREN TO RIDE IN MY VEHICLE WITH ME.
OVER THE LAST FOUR WEEKS THE STEERING HAS DEVELOPED A 'DEAD ZONE'. THE STEERING WILL JERK WHEN PULLED OUT OF THIS 'DEAD ZONE'. I TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO FIRESTONE FOR AN ALIGNMENT TO SEE IF IT WOULD CORRECT THE ISSUE. THE TECHNICIANS CONFIRMED WITH ME THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE CRADLE OF THE VEHICLE.
I HAD JUST HAD MY VEHICLE 6 WEEKS DRIVING FROM A STOP TO ANOTHER STOP. CAR STARTED CHUGGING THOUGHT I HADN'T GIVEN ENOUGH GAS THEN I THOUGHT IT POWERED DOWN AT THE STOP .LIGHTS WENT OUT ON BOTH CLUSTERS WENT TO ACCELERATE CHUGGED COULDN'T GET ACROSS STREET CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON I COASTED TO THE SIDE AND IT WOULDN'T START WAITED 15 MIN INCHED HOME ABOUT 3 MILES CALLED DEALER SENT A TOW TO PICK CAR UP HAD IT FOR A WEEK HAS SAME PROBLEM. THEY SAID TO BRING IT BACK 500 MILES WHEN IT HAPPENED HAS 3500 NOW AFRAID TO DRIVE. I NEED A VEHICLE CAN'T LEAVE FOR EXTENDED TIME AND NOTHING IS DONE
UCONNECT SERVICE NOT WORKING PROPERLY AFFECTING ALL OPTIONS ON RADIO CONTROL PANEL MANAGED BY UCONNECT
NOVEMBER OF 2019 BATTERY VOLTAGE WAS LOW. WHILE DRIVING STEERING WOULD JERK/PULL/GRAB TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT. DID THIS MANY TIMES DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE, MAKING TURNS AND A FEW TIMES THE CAR WOULD SHUT DOWN. I MADE SURE TO KEEP MY DISTANCE DURING THIS TIME WHILE DRIVING AND THANKFULLY THERE WERE NO ACCIDENTS. SCARED TO DRIVE VEHICLE. HAD THE BATTERY CHECKED AT AN AUTO PARTS STORE THEY SAID IT WAS GOOD. TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP THEY FOUND WIRES RAN BY JEEP DURING MANUFACTURE FOUND A WIRE CHAFE NEAR STARTER AND WAS A GROUND WIRE. FIXED THE ISSUE. FAST FORWARD 11/2020 GETTING NAV DISPLAY REPLACED DUE TO SCREEN SEPARATION. FIRST RADIO INSTALL WAS NOT COMPATIBLE, AND STEERING HAS BEEN MESSED UP SINCE THE FIRST RADIO WAS PULLED OUT AND PUT BACK IN. COINCIDENCE NOT SURE... JUMPY/PLAY/LOOSE/STIFF WHEN CORRECTING TO STAY IN LANE. EXPLAINED THIS TO DEALERSHIP, SAFETY CONCERN, HAVE TO FIGHT THE WHEEL TO DRIVE AND ONLY DID THIS WHEN THERE WAS AN ISSUE IN 2019. 4TH VISIT BACK TO DEALERSHIP 3RD RADIO FINALLY WORKED. DEALERSHIP SAID THEY INSTALLED A STEERING SOFTWARE UPDATE. THEY DROVE MY VEHICLE APPROX. 50 MILES. SAID THERE IS PLAY/JERKING/JUMPING IN STEERING WHILE DRIVING AND TO LET THEM KNOW IF IT CONTINUES... I FEEL LIKE A DRUNK DRIVER, UNSAFE TO DRIVE, AND MY VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 40K MILES. I CAN'T PIN POINT WHY THE CAR IS DOING THIS AND HOW TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF. JEEP SHOULD BE FIXING THIS PROBLEM AS THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. I HAVE COME ACROSS MANY COMPLAINTS FOR CHEROKEE STEERING ISSUES. THIS IS A HAZARD AND VERY DANGEROUS, I DRIVE 2 HOURS ROUND TRIP FOR WORK.
I BOUGHT MY JEEP ON DECEMBER 12, 2018 FROM JT'S JEEP IN LEXINGTON SC. AT ROUGHLY 1,600 MILES, IT DID THE SAME THING AGAIN. SAME PROCEDURE. WENT AWAY. AT 7,500 MILES I TOOK IT IN FOR SERVICE AND THEY CHECKED AND SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG. AT 8000 MILES I WAS MERGING ONTO THE INTERSTATE IN COLUMBIA SC AND STARTED TO ACCELERATE AND IT LOST ALL POWER; POWER STEERING, ACCELERATION, BRAKING, AND DISPLAYED A MESSAGE OF "ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAULT" I MANAGED TO GET IT OFF THE ROAD AND RESTARTED, DROVE TO GA FINE. I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER HERE IN GA, THEY KEPT IT AN ENTIRE WEEK AND CLAIMED NOTHING WAS WRONG. BUT THAT THEY FIXED A RECALL THAT WOULD REMEDY THE ISSUE. IT HAS NOT. IT HAS DONE THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN, SOMETIMES COMPLETELY LOCKING DOWN, OTHER TIMES JUST ILLUMINATING THE AUTO START STOP SERVICE LIGHT. I AM TERRIFIED OF MY VEHICLE. IN LAST TWO DAYS STEERING WHEEL IS JERKING IN MY HANDS, AS THOUGH THE LANE SENSE FEATURE IS TRYING TO BRING VEHICLE INTO CENTER OF LANE. THAT FEATURE IS DISENGAGED AND IS NEVER USED. THE JERK IS SLIGHT BUT PERCEPTIBLE AND ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE IN A LEFT TO RIGHT MOTION. SINCE I LIVE IN COUNTRY AND TRAVEL ROADS WITH SPEEDS AT 65+, GREAT CONCERN THAT THIS ISSUE MAY LEAD TO A FAILURE OF THE STEERING SYSTEM OR STEERING WHEEL ITSELF. HAD A SIMILAR ISSUE MANY YEARS AGO WITH A FORD VEHICLE, WHICH RESULTED IN A RECALL AFTER THE STEERING WHEEL ON MY VEHICLE ACTUALLY CAME OFF THE COLUMN AND SPILLED BEARINGS ON THE FLOOR.

I HAD IT RECENTLY IN TO A JEEP DEALER FOR SERVICE ON OTHER ISSUES AND LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THIS AND THEY INDICATED THEY DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING RIGHT THEN, AND DIDN'T HAVE MORE TIME TO LOOK INTO IT. I LET THEM KNOW I FEARED FOR MY SAFETY (HOPING I DON'T LOSE CONTROL). WE WERE SIDE SWIPED ON DRIVER'S SIDE OF MY VEHICLE REALLY BAD, DRIVERS DOOR, WINDOW AND THE BACK DOOR, WILL NOT OPEN OR CLOSE. THE AIRBAG DID NOT DISPENSE. LUCKILY, WE WERE ALL WEARING OUR SEATBELT AND NO ONE WAS HURT. I'M TOTALLY SICKENED BY THIS
TWICE THIS WEEK MY CAR HAS SUDDENLY DIED WHILE DRIVING IT AND WOULD NOT START BACK UP, BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON. I HAVE HAD TO WAIT BEFORE TRYING TO START AGAIN AND GOT IT STARTED BY PUSHING THE GAS DOWN WHILE TURNING THE KEY. LUCKILY I HAVE BEEN ON MY DIRT DRIVEWAY BOTH TIMES. I'D BE TERRIFIED IF THIS HAPPENED ON A BUSY HIGHWAY, I'M GETTING MORE AND MORE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS VEHICLE.
MY JEEP ISN'T EVEN A YEAR OLD, AND MY JEEP HAS FAILED FIVE OIL ASSUMPTION TESTS. I GO BACK TO THE DEALER EVERY 1,000 MILES AND IT BURNS TWO AND A HALF QUARTZ OF OIL WITHIN 1,000 MILES! IT DOESN'T LEAK, IT BURNS.
THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THE 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE COMPLETELY LOST POWER AND SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. ALL WARNING DASH LIGHTS CAME ON AFTER PULLING OFF THE ROAD PUT IN PARK AND RESTART. WARNING SAYS TRAN NEED SVC. ACC/FCW LIMITED FUNCTIONALITY. FRONTEND AND REAR COLLISION DISABLED. THE SHIFTER IS LOUD AND CLUNKY WHEN PUTTING IN GEAR. DEALERSHIP SAID WHEN IT HAPPENED 3MONTHS AGO THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD FIND WRONG. PLEASE HELP B4 IT SHUTS OFF AND SOMEONE GETS HURT. THANK YOU

WHEN DRIVING MY CAR, THE CAR HESITATES AS I TURN CORNERS, THE CAR SHAKES WHEN YOU START IT UP AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE CAR CUT OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING ALONG A BUSY STREET. I WAS IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC AND WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED BECAUSE OF IT. THIS SAME ISSUE HAPPENED IN EITHER OCTOBER OR NOVEMBER. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT, I SPOKE TO THE PERSON AT THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME I PROBABLY NEEDED AN OIL CHANGE. I GOOGLED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THERE WAS A RECALL THAT WOULD CAUSE THE SAME PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING. I PRESENTED TO THE DEALER THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT BUT IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY RESOLVED. ALMOST ONE YEAR LATER I'M HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. IT'S DANGEROUS. I SPOKE WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THE ENGINE WAS DESIGNED TO CUT OFF TO PROTECT THE ENGINE IF THE OIL IS LOW. THE ENGINE IN THESE CARS ARE A 2.4 TIGER SHARK ENGINE. THE DEALER REPLACED IT WITH A 2.4 MULTI-AIR ENGINE, POWER THE DEALER THIS SHOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE ENGINE BURNING AN AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF OIL. BOTH 2.4 ENGINES ARE DESIGNED TO SHUT OFF IF THERE IS A LOW AMOUNT OF OIL. THAT IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT A CAR WOULD SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING TO PROTECT ITSELF BUT THAT DOESN'T PROTECT THE DRIVER/PASSENGERS IT ACTUALLY PUTS THEM IN HARMS WAY.*DT *AS
AS I WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 30MPH MY POWER STEERING LOCKED UP. I WASN'T ABLE TO TURN THE WHEEL AT ALL. A SERVICE POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME UPON MY DASH. WHEN I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP THEY REFUSED TO LET ME TOW IT THERE OR FIX IT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OLD AND UNDER WARRANTY. I ENDED UP HAVING IT TOWED THERE ANYWAYS WITHOUT TELLING THEM. IT WAS JUST A CODE THAT HAD TO BE CLEARED BUT THEY MADE ME PAY 120$ FOR LABOR EVEN THOUGH IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND AT NO FAULT TO MY OWN. THIS IS THE ONLY PROBLEM I'VE HAD WITH THIS VEHICLE OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE IT. IF I WERE IN A DIFFERENT SITUATION ALTHOUGH IT COULD HAVE BEEN VERY DANGEROUS AND I WAS VERY UNHAPPY THE WAY THE DEALERSHIP TREATED ME.

THE VEHICLE WAS VERY HOT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE BY THE CONTACT'S FEET. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,348.

TAKING OFF FROM STOPPED POSITION.TRANSMISSION WILL NOT ENGAGE .ENGINE RACES SO THAT WHEN TRANSMISSION DOES ENGAGE THE CAR SHOOTS FORWARD AT ALARMING SPEED.IN TRAFFIC CARS ARE BLOWING AT ME AND IM TRYING TO KEEP FROM HITTING CARS IN FRONT OF ME.THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN AVEY TIME I DRIVE CAR BUT IS BECOMING MORE FREQUENT,SO THAT I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE CAR.
