I HAVE A 2004 GRAND CHEROKEE . SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, I STARTED TO HAVE STALLING ISSUES. HOT OR COLD, DRY OR WET, FIRST DRIVE OF THE DAY OR LAST, IT DIDN'T MATTER. THE ENGINE WOULD CUT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING REGARDLESS OF SPEED. I HAD TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL, RECRANK IT AND PUT IT BACK IN DRIVE JUST TO AVOID ACCIDENTS, OTHERWISE IT DRIFTS OUT OF CONTROL. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THIS WAS AN ISOLATED INCIDENT BUT NOW IT HAPPENS ALMOST EVERYDAY. IT'S DANGEROUS BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE TO DRIVE TO GET TO WORK AND FROM THE INTERNET A LOT OF OTHER JEEP USERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. WHY NO RECALL ON THIS ISSUE? OBVIOUSLY THERE IS A DEFECT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 JEEP CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V527000 (AIR BAGS) AND STATED THAT THE PART NEEDED WAS UNAVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
THE JEEP WAS NEVER DRIVEN OFF ROAD OR PARKED IN STANDING WATER. THE MAIN BODY IS IN GREAT SHAPE BUT THE OIL PAN AND TRANSMISSION PANS HAVE SERIOUS RUST ISSUES. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 59K MILES AND IS EXCELLENT EXCEPT FOR THE UNDER CARRIAGE RUST ISSUES.
I AM E-MAILING INJURING ABOUT THE RECALL FOR JEEPS AIRBAG. THE JEEP DEALERSHIP IN MY CITY DOES NOT HAVE THE RECALL PIECE BUT HAS CALLED AND SENT AN E-MAIL ABOUT HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO GET THE RECALL DONE. WONDERING WHAT I SHOULD DO? *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE REPAIRED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V527000 (AIR BAGS ). AFTER THE REPAIRS, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD NOT TURN OFF, AND THE HEADLIGHTS WOULD RANDOMLY TURN ON AND OFF RECURRINGLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHERE THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE INNER BODY MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
DRIVING INTERSTATE 95 DOING POSTED SPEED LIMIT SMOKE IS SEEN FROM REAR VIEW MIRROR BACK OF VEHICLE NO INDICATOR ENGINE LIGHTS REPORTED ANY TROUBLE ALL ENGINE GAUGES WERE SHOWING NORMAL STOPPED VEHICLE UNDER FRONT OF HOOD DRIVERS SIDE SMOKE LIFTED HOOD FLAMES STARTED SPREAD SO FAST JEEP WAS TOTALED IN FIRE MELTING TIRES FRAME MY SON WAS LUCKY TO GET OUT IN TIME. POLICE SAID YOU GOT OUT OF THAT, MOST OF THE FIRES I'VE COME ACROSS PASSENGERS WERE NOT THAT LUCKY. I WISH I COULD KNOW THE REASON WHY? SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO MIGHT NOT BE THIS LUCKY TO WALK AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE. *TR

THE CONTACT FELT THAT SINCE THE FAILURE WAS REPORTED IN NOVEMBER OF 2012, THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A REMEDY AVAILABLE BEFORE FEBRUARY OF 2014. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE TIME FOR REPAIR. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
CHRYSLER HAS FAILED TO CORRECT THE FOLLOWING RECALLS: M35/NHTSA 12V-527 SINCE FEB 2014 WE TOOK IT TO CHRYSLER THEY SAID IT WAS FIXED AND THEN WE RECEIVED ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION THAT THE FIX WAS NOT CORRECTED DUE TO PARTS BEING INCOMPATIBLE. WE HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING SINCE MARCH 2015. WE CALLED THE LOCAL DEALER AND PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE YET.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. RECEIVED SAFETY RECALL M35/NHTSA 12V-527 ON 2/4/2014 INDICATING THE AIRBAG SYSTEM (OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE) MAY EXPERIENCE A FRONT AIRBAG AND/OR SEATBELT PRETENSIONER INADVERTENT DEPLOYMENT. AN INADVERTENT DEPLOYMENT WHILE DRIVING COULD DISTRACT DRIVER AND CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING. ON 2/5/2014, I CONTACTED DEALER (PEARSON JEEP/CHRYSLER 8250 BROAD ST. RICHMOND, VA). DEALER'S RESPONSE WAS "THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE FOR THAT REPAIR". WHY IS THIS AN ISSUE WHEN A CRASH COULD HAPPEN ANYTIME THE VEHICLE IS IN USE WITHOUT THE IMMEDIATE REPAIR? I FIND THAT UNSATISFACTORY AND A DISCREDIT TO THE JEEP/CHRYSLER COMPANY WHICH I HAVE PATRONIZED FOR NEARLY 20 YEARS. I ANXIOUSLY AWAIT TO HEAR YOUR RESPONSE. ...........A VERY CONCERNED CUSTOMER!!! *TR
WHEN DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS THERE IS A KNOCKING/GRINDING WHEN TURNING THE WHEEL TO THE LEFT WHICH HAS BECAME LOUDER AND MORE FREQUENT. SINCE THIS BEGAN THE STEERING IS NOW LOOSE AND PULLS AS IF NEEDING AN ALIGNMENT ALTHOUGH THIS WAS DONE APPROX. LESS THAN 1 YR AGO. IT HAS BECAME DIFFICULT TO KEEP CAR STRAIGHT WHEN DRIVING ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER STEERING (YET). POSSIBLY RELATED TO RECALL BUT IT DOESN'T APPEAR MY VIN WAS INCLUDED. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE! I HAVE HEARD SEVERAL COMPLAINTS OF STEERING FAILING WHILE TRAVELING CAUSING WRECKS. THEY SHOULD RECONSIDER THE RANGE OF VEHICLES INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL. *TR

WE SLIPPED ON SOME BLACK ICE AND THE JEEP WENT UP A HILL AND THEN WE FLIPPED AND LANDED UPSIDE DOWN. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED THE OTHER TIME WAS LAST YEAR FEB 18 2013 WHEN MY 2001 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE ROLLED OVER THREE TIMES BEFORE LANDING UPSIDE DOWN. LAST YEAR IT WAS ME AND MY 3 SONS. THUS YEAR IT WAS ME AND MY HUSBAND. I INJURED MY LEG AND BACK. ALSO NEITHER TIMES DID THE AIR BAGS DEPLOY. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 134,000.
WINDOWS, DOOR LOCKS WILL NOT OPERATE. CABIN LIGHTS WILL NOT GO OUT WHEN HEADLIGHTS ARE ON CREATING A DANGEROUS SITUATION. *TR
FUEL PRESSURE DAMPENER ON THE FUEL RAIL LEAKED, DRIPPING GASOLINE ON MANIFOLD. THIS IS A NON-MECHANICAL PART. THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON FOR A FUEL LEAK TO DEVELOP EXCEPT FOR POOR ENGINEERING/CONSTRUCTION OF THE PART. LEAKING FUEL IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. *TR
(RELATING TO THE DRIVER-SIDE SEAT ONLY) MY DAUGHTER AND I WAS WAITING AT A TRAFFIC STOP, (I WAS DRIVING) WHEN THE LIGHT TURN GREEN I PRESSED ON THE ACCELERATOR AND MY ENTIRE SEAT INCLUDING MYSELF SWUNG BACK. BECAUSE OF THE BACKWARD MOMENTUM, IT CAUSES ME TO ABRUPTLY PRESS FURTHER ON THE ACCELERATOR. I WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND PULL ON THE SIDE TO INSPECT THE SEAT. I FOUND THAT THE TWO FRONT BRACKETS UNDER THE SEAT HAD BROKEN OFF. SINCE I HAD ADJUSTABLE POWER SEAT, I LOWER THE SEAT TO ALIGN THE BROKEN BRACKETS TO WEDGE UNDER THE BAR CAUSING THE SEAT TO STABILIZE OR AT LEAST HOLD IN A SEMI-SOLID POSITION. I CALLED CHRYSLER AND THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. I ARGUED THAT THIS IS AN UNUSUAL INCIDENT WHERE I HAVE NEVER HEARD THAT THE DRIVER-SIDE SEAT BRACKETS WOULD BREAK OFF AND POSSIBLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. ESPECIALLY FOR A JEEP, THIS VEHICLE IS MEANT TO BE DRIVEN ON AND OFF ROAD. AGAIN, THEY SAID THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO. THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW AND SHOULD BE ADDRESS BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY INJURED. *TR
THE AC/HEATER BLENDER DOOR HAS BROKEN, AND IT DOES NOT ALLOW THE HEATER TO WORK PROPERLY AND IN RETURN DOES NOT ALLOW THE HEATER TO COMPLETELY DEFROST THE WINDSHIELD. *TR
I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE JEEP RECALL FOR FUEL TANK EXPLOSIONS IN REAR END CRASHES. WHY HAS NOTHING HAPPENED? CAN'T YOU ENFORCE THIS RECALL? I CONTACTED JEEP LAST MONTH AND THEY SAID THEY WERE STILL IN THE "EARLY PLANNING PHASES", WHICH IS A COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE ANSWER CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF TIME THEY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM! PLEASE ENFORCE THIS, I AM SCARED TO DRIVE MY 3 CHILDREN AROUND IN OUR JEEP UNTIL THIS IS FIXED! *TR
THE DRIVERS SEAT BRACKET HOLDING CHAIR HAS BROKEN FROM REGULAR USE. WHILE PARKED, I LEANED BACK IN MY SEAT AND A BRACKET ON THE FRONT LEFT THAT CONNECTS TO THE FRAME HOLDING CHAIR TO THE FLOOR BROKE. THIS HAS CAUSED THE SEAT TO BECOME MORE OF A ROCKING CHAIR, WOBBLING BACK AND FORTH. TO MY SURPRISE A DEFECT SUCH AS THIS DOES NOT WARRANT A RECALL. I WISH CHRYSLER ADDRESSES THIS PROBLEMS THAT SEEMS TO BE COMMON AMONG SOME OF THE JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. IF THE DRIVERS SEAT BREAKS LOOSE FROM THE FLOOR DURING AN IMPACT OR ROLLOVER, THE DRIVER COULD EASILY BE THROWN FROM THE VEHICLE WHILE STILL STRAPPED IN HIS/HER SEAT. I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY GOT OUT OF THE RECALL OF THE GAS TANKS FOR MY 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. I BET YOU ARE ALL FILLING YOUR POCKETS AT OUR EXPENSE FOR THE 2ND TIME. DID WE NOT BAIL THEM OUT? ARE WE NOT PAYING FOR THAT? CHRYSLER JEEP IS A CRAPPY PRODUCT. NOT ONLY AM I DRIVING AN UNSAFE VEHICLE TRANSPORTING MY SICK MOTHER TO MANY DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS FOR HER CANCER, BUT NO ONE WANTS TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT. WHO IS ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL? I ALSO THINK THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED REGARDING THE DESIGN OF MY JEEP FOR BUILDING IT SO ANY REPAIRS IN FRONT OF THE STEERING WHEEL REQUIRES A FULL DASH REMOVAL. JUST FOR THAT IT IS $1,000.00 NOT INCLUDING PARTS.MY ESTIMATE CAME TO $1,400.00 JUST TO REPLACE A HINGE AND A FLAP FOR THE HEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE.REALLY!! EVEN THE SERVICE TECHS AT JEEP DEALERS THINK IT WAS BUILT THAT WAY TO MAKE MONEY IN THE SERVICE DEPT. THEY SAY THEY WOULD NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT, AND THEY WORK FOR JEEP. CRAPPY DESIGN, CHEAP PRODUCT. THIS IS HORRIBLE AND I WAS SCARED. BUT I WAS DRIVING SLOWLY UP MY STREET AND IT STARTED TO RACE, I WAS TRYING TO BRAKE AS I TURNED IN MY PARKING SPACE MY CAR WAS STILL RACING AND WOULDN'T BRAKE AND I ENDED UP DRIVING INTO MY PROPERTY, IT SEEMED TO ACCELERATE AS I KEPT BRAKING AND UP THE STEPS THE CAR WENT AND THE CAR THEN STOPPED INCHES FROM MY DOOR. IT WAS RACING AS I WAS BRAKING AND IT WOULD STOP NOT UNTIL IT HIT THE PORCH STEP. IT WAS HORRIBLE, THIS CAR HAS NEVER LAUNCHED LIKE A ROCKET. IT WAS LIKE IT MAGICALLY ACCELERATED. I HAVE HAD THIS CAR FOR YEARS AND KEEP IT MAINTAINED. I SEE THERE HAVE BEEN RECALLS ABOUT THIS, WHY DID I NOT GET A CARD. I AM GLAD I OR ANYBODY DID NOT GET HURT. JEEP IS IN SHOP. *TR
DRIVING WITH 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN CAR. MAKING TURN ONTO HIGHWAY AND DRIVER'S SEAT LURCHED BACKWARDS WITH LOUD "POP" SOUND. ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF CAR AND SCARED THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF MY DAUGHTER. PULLED OVER AND SEAT IS LOOSE OF FRAME. THERE IS A CRACK IN THE STEEL BRACKET WHERE SEAT ATTACHES TO SEAT FRAME. I WENT ONLINE AND SAW THIS IS A COMMON DEFECT IN JEEP GRAND CHEROKEES. KIND OF RIDICULOUS THAT THIS PROBLEM HASN'T ALREADY BEEN CORRECTED. I HAVE NEVER OWNED OR EVEN HEARD OF A CAR WHERE IT IS COMMON FOR THE SEAT TO BREAK FROM ITS FRAME. *TR

THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
CAR STARTED STALLING WHEN DRIVING ON FREEWAY AND ENGINE SHUT DOWN. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. MY GARAGE TRIED ALL KIND OF SOLUTIONS WITHOUT SUCCESS AS THERE ARE NO CODES SHOWING. THERE ARE NUMEROUS POSTING OF SAME INCIDENTS ON THE JEEP FORUMS ON THE INTERNET. I CALLED THE HOTLINE OF THE NHTSA AND SPOKE TO A LADY WHO ADVISED ME SHE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND GOT RID OF THE CAR IMMEDIATELY! *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, SHE NOTICED SMOKE EMITTING FROM UNDERNEATH THE DASHBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS FOR THE HEATER MOTOR WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,915.
WHILE APPROACHING THE INTERSECTION ( MAKING A LEFT TURN ) MY STEERING STIFFING AND I COULD NOT MAKE A LEFT TURN INTO MY LANE ( INNER LANE ). I HAD TO ILLEGALLY TURN INTO THE OUTER LANE. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK MY VEHICLE TO AN CERTIFIED MECHANIC ( BELLE TIRE ) WHO ADVISED THAT MY GEAR BOX WAS MALFUNCTIONING. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THAT UNIT ( GEAR BOX- RACKET PINION ). I CALLED THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP ( CHRYSLER ) WHOM ADVISED THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A RECALL FOR THAT UNIT. THEY ADVISED ME TO CONTACT YOU GUYS FOR HELP. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 160,000.

THE DEALER THEN UPDATED THE COMPUTER SYSTEM, HOWEVER THE FAILURE PERSISTED INTERMITTENTLY. THE DEALER ALSO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE DRIVES IN THE COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.

I HAVE REPLACED THE IGNITION SWITCH TWICE IN ONE YEAR (2014). I HAVE PURCHASED A RE-MANUFACTURED ENGINE 2014, SHIPPED FROM TEXAS TO DETROIT, MI.
DEFECT IN ELECTRICAL WIRING IN DRIVER-SIDE DOOR PREVENTS WINDOWS FROM ROLLING DOWN (A SAFETY HAZARD) AND DOORS FROM LOCKING/UNLOCKING. THE BACK HATCH WILL EITHER REMAIN IN LOCKED OR UNLOCKED MODE DEPENDING ON WHEN THE WIRING FAILS (THIS MODEL JEEP DOES NOT INCLUDE A MANUAL WAY TO USE A KEY TO UNLOCK/LOCK THE BACK HATCH). IF A PET WAS IN THE BACK OF THE SUV THAT HAD A "PET FENCE", THERE WOULD BE NO WAY TO GET THE PET OUT OF THE VEHICLE (OR LUGGAGE/CARGO). THIS IS ESPECIALLY CONCERNING IN THE EVENT OF A REAR END COLLISION WHERE THE GAS TANK MAY CATCH ON FIRE (CURRENT RECALL). THE INTERIOR LIGHTS ALSO STAY ON AS IF A DOOR WAS OPEN. TURNING OFF THE INTERIOR LIGHTS PREVENTS THE SPEEDOMETER/ODOMETER/GAUGES/ETC FROM ILLUMINATING AT NIGHT. IF THE LIGHTS ARE NOT TURNED OFF, THEN ALL INTERIOR LIGHTS REMAIN ON CAUSING A HAZARD AT NIGHT AS WELL. DRIVER-SIDE WIRING WAS FIXED IN OCTOBER OF 2012. IN SEPTEMBER OF 2013, THE PASSENGER-SIDE WIRING IS CAUSING THE SAME PROBLEM - WINDOWS/DOOR LOCKS DON'T WORK AND THE INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT AN ANOMALY. I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM A CAMPING TRIP WITH MY FAMILY ON 9/2/13 ON HWY 2 IN LAUREL HILL, FL, TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH ON A TWO-LANE ROAD WHEN THE AIR BAG LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD ILLUMINATED AND SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE DRIVER-SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYED. NANOSECONDS LATER THE PASSENGER-SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYED. I MANAGED TO KEEP FROM RUNNING OFF THE ROAD AND PULLED OFF ONTO THE NARROW SHOULDER. MY WIFE'S KNEE WAS HURT PRETTY BADLY AS THE DASH OPENED UP AND HIT HER KNEE WHEN THE AIRBAG DEPLOYED TEARING THE SKIN OFF HER LEFT KNEE AND BRUISING BOTH THE KNEE AND SURROUNDING TISSUE AND THE INNER PORTION OF HER RIGHT KNEE AS WELL. HER INJURY DID NOT REQUIRE ANY HOSPITALIZATION. I CONTACTED CHRYSLER BECAUSE I READ ONLINE THAT THERE WAS A RECALL (M35) THAT AFFECTED MY YEAR MODEL AND MAKE. THEY TOLD ME THAT MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL THOUGH OUR EXPERIENCE SEEMED TO MATCH UP WITH THE RECALL. THERE IS THIS VERY THIN WIRE VERY THIN WIRE ATTACHED TO THIS HEAVY METAL THING THAT JUST SITS IN WINDOW. THE WIRE COMES APART SO EASY AND IT SHOULD NOT. NOW THAT I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW THE PROBLEM HAS BECOME WORSE OVER THE MONTHS. I BROUGHT MY 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE JUNE 2004, BARLEY USED. I HAVE REPAIRED A LOT OF THINGS UNDER THE HOOD ESPECIALLY WITH THE SENSORS AND THE BLACK HARNESS WIRE IN THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR, IT SPLIT IN 2 AND STOPPED RUNNING IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. I HAD TO HAVE IT SLICED AND MENDED TOGETHER, AFTER 8 MONTHS RECENTLY, I HAD TO REPAIR THE BLACK WIRE AGAIN DUE TO MOISTURE SETTING IN THE TAPE AND WIRES, I READ ON THE INTERNET CHRYSLER SHOULD HAVE NEVER PUT THE BLACK OR YELLOW WHERE'S IN THE DOOR, BECAUSE THEY BEND AND BREAK. THIS CAUSED MY THE LIGHTS TO STAY ON AND REMOTE SIDE MIRRORS NOT TO WORK. THE DASH BOARD METERS WENT HAYWIRE, I HAD THE ALTERNATOR REPLACED, SENSORS AND THROTTLE BODY CLEANED AND REPLACED. THE ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON CONSTANTLY NOW, GIVING CODES OF P0141, P0137 WITH BAD FUEL MPG. IT RIDES LIKE IT IS SMOTHERED IN FEATHERS. I WAS ADVISED THAT IT COULD BE THE FUEL PUMP. I RECENTLY HAD THE FUEL INJECTORS REPLACED, THE ENGINE LIGHT WENT OUT, FOR 2 DAY'S AND NOW BACK ON. HOW FRUSTRATING AFTER BUYING THIS CAR FOR $23,900 IN 6/2004, I HAVE PAID AN ESTIMATE IN CAR REPAIRS OF $4-5000 SO FAR.
