While driving, my vehicle has intermittently lost power without warning, creating a serious safety hazard. The loss of power occurs unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion and is not associated with any driver input, weather, or road conditions.The issue has occurred on more than one occasion. The first occasion in March 2025. The issue appeared to be temporarily resolved but later recurred, indicating the underlying problem was not corrected. When the loss of power occurs, the vehicle does not respond to acceleration input and behaves as though propulsion is cut off completely. This happens suddenly and without warning while driving.This condition creates a dangerous situation, particularly when driving in traffic or at speed as was the case on 12/4/25 when driving 70 mph on the freeway, the second time the issue occurred for us. The car was immediately brought to the dealership on 12/4/2025 and remains there today. On the first occurrence the dealership attributed it to low battery charge and replaced both batteries. The dealership has performed inspections and diagnostics including:Battery testing and replacement,Wiring and harness inspections,Software updates to vehicle control modules,Extended road testing.Despite these efforts:The issue has not been permanently resolved,The dealership has stated the concern could not be duplicated,The dealership has indicated that fault codes were not always present. A STAR case has been opened, Jeep Customer Care has been contacted regarding this issue, and a field technician has been requested to come to the dealership to assess the vehicle. Despite repeated service visits I am submitting this complaint to report a recurring, intermittent loss-of-power condition that may not consistently trigger diagnostic fault codes but poses a serious safety risk for the car occupants and other drivers on the road surrounding this vehicle.
