TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP LIBERTY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT OVER A SPAN OF SEVEN YEARS, EACH OF THE WINDOWS FAILED AND DROPPED DOWN INTO THE DOOR PANEL ABNORMALLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING AND WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES AND AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE REPAIRED FOR A TOTAL OF FIVE TIMES. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT A PLASTIC PART WITHIN THE WINDOW MECHANISM HAD MELTED, CAUSING THE GLASS TO DROP DOWN INTO THE DOOR PANEL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 42,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
ON 5-6-03 I PURCHASED A 2003 JEEP LIBERTY. ON 5-29-03 I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOP FOR THE FIRST TIME(995 MILES) FOR A POSSIBLE MISSING IN THE ENGINE. TECH FOUND THE A/C OVERFULL BUT NO MISS IN THE ENGINE. THE A/C WAS DISCHARGED AND RECHARGED TO THE PROPER LEVEL. THIS DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. EVERY 8 TO 10 SECONDS THE ENGINE SURGES( WHAT FEELS LIKE A MISS) AND MORE FREQUENT WITH HIGHER RPMS. THE SECOND SHOP VISIT WAS AT 1,420 MILES WITH SAME PROBLEM. NO FIX! THE THIRD SHOP VISIT WAS AT 1,941 MILES WITH SAME PROBLEM. NO FIX! THE FOURTH SHOP VISIT WAS AT 2,089 MILES WITH SAME PROBLEM. NO FIX! THE FIFTH SHOP VISIT WAS AT 2273 MILES WITH SAME PROBLEM. NO FIX! ON THE FIFTH VISIT A CHRYS. SERVICE REP.(JIM DUPREE) KEPT VEHICLE FOR TWO DAYS. FOUND THE PRESSURE IN THE A/C IS GOING FROM 140PSI TO 180PSI IN LESS THAN A SECOND WHICH IS WHAT CAUSES THE JERK(MISS) IN THE ENGINE. CAUSE: A SENSOR THAT CONTROLS THE A/C COMPRESSOR. THIS COULD POSSIBLY BE CAUSING THE VERY LOW GAS MILEAGE(17MPH ON THE HIGHWAY). AS OF 9-12-03 I HAVE NOT BEEN INFORMED OF A FIX. I WAS ADVISED BY THE CHRYS. CUST. SERVICE PHONE LINE THE MATTER HAD BEEN TURNED OVER TO THE DIST. MANAGER MATT WITTERS AND HE HAS MADE HIS OFFER OF A TRADE TO A DIFFERENT TYPE VEHICLE. I HAVE NEVER SPOKE TO HIM IN PERSON OR BY PHONE. IN THE PAST SEVERAL WEEKS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT CHRYS. IS DOING TO FIND A FIX BUT I HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL. NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT MR. WITTERS HAS FAILED. I WAS ALSO INFORM MR. WITTERS HAS TRIED TO CONTACT ME BUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN AT TIMES HE WAS TOLD NOT TO CALL. I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE FOR ANOTHER CHRYS. PRODUCT THAT I DID NOT WANT TO BEGAN WITH OR I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED ANOTHER TYPE. I WANT THEM TO REPAIR THE ONE I HAVE, GIVE ME ANOTHER LIBERTY(WITHOUT PROBLEM), OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. THAT IS NOT ASKING TOO MUCH. I HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL IN GETTING ANY RESPONSE OVER THE PAST MONTH. *PH
NEW 2003 JEEP LIBERTY WITH 64 ODOMETER MILES HAS EXTREME VIBRATION WHEN DRIVING BETWEEN 45-55 MPH. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE FRONT AND REAR DRIVESHAFTS, BUT THIS DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT MY NEW VEHICLE FOR 5 BUSINESS DAYS. *NLM
2003 JEEP LIBERTY SPORT (4X4) VIBRATES EXCESSIVELY BETWEEN 45-55 MPH. DEALERSHIP REPLACED REAR DRIVE SHAFT, WHICH DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS IS MY SECOND JEEP LIBERTY WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THE FIRST WAS A 2002 JEEP LIBERTY SPORT (4X4) WITH A VIBRATION PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE FRONT AND REAR DRIVES SHAFTS ON THIS VEHICLE, WHICH DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS VEHICLE WAS REPLACED BY CHRYSLER UNDER THE WISCONSIN LEMON LAW. MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW WITH THE JEEP LIBERTY THAT CHRYSLER DOES NOT HAVE A FIX FOR.
WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH THE VEHICLE VIBRATED. THE DEALER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE BUT COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *NLM
WHILE MAKING A RIGHT TURN AT A STOP SIGN THERE WAS A POPPING NOISE, THEN A METAL NOISE. CONSUMER PULLED OFF THE ROAD, AND NOTICED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE OF FRONT SUSPENSION WAS LAYING ON THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP, WHO INDICATED THAT THE LOWER BALL JOINT SEPARATED.*AK PHONE INTERVIEW UPDATE (OCT 6, 05): THE CONSUMER RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. NO PROBLEM SINCE.
VEHICLE OPERATES PROPERLY THROUGH 3RD GEAR PRIOR TO THE TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH ENGAGING. ONCE THE TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH ENGAGES, THERE IS A NOTICEABLE SLIPPING. THIS IS EVIDENT AT/AND ABOVE 50 MPH, BOTH ON 3RD GEAR (WITH OD OFF) AND ON 4TH GEAR (WITH OD ON.) THE SLIPPING IS NOT INTERMITTENT; IT OCCURS ONCE THE VEHICLE IS HOT, AND WHEN THERE IS A INCREASE IN ENGINE LOAD, SUCH AS WHEN GOING UP HILLS (LONG GRADE) OR WHEN THE THROTTLE PRESSURE IS INCREASED. IT IS ALSO MOST NOTICEABLE WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING ON. THE SLIP STOPS (OR AT LEAST I DO NOT FEEL IT) ONCE THE TCC DISENGAGES. *JB
TRANSMISSION IS MAKING CLUNKING NOISE WHEN SHIFTING FROM PARK, DEALER SAID ALL ARE LIKE THIS. *AK
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE REVERSING OUT OF A PARKING SPOT THE BALL JOINT FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP WHERE THE BALL JOINT WAS REPLACED. THE BALL JOINT WAS REPLACED PREVIOUSLY UNDER A RECALL. UPDATED 8/1/2006 - *NM
WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PUT IN DRIVE THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING WHICH CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE. *NLM DEALER FOUND ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS LOOSE AND WITHOUT PRESSURE. DEALER REFASTEN LOOSE THROTTLE CABLE. *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP LIBERTY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN INTERMITTENT ELECTRICAL SHORT THAT PROGRESSED FOR YEARS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT DEALER AND THE AUTHORIZED DEALER, BUT NEITHER WERE ABLE TO REPLICATE OR DIAGNOSE THE FAILURES MORE THAN ONCE. THE CONTACT CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE THE FAILURE IN WHICH THE VEHICLE STALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND HAD TO BE RESTARTED TO RESET THE COMPUTER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO REPLACED THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TWICE, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V046000 (AIR BAGS) AND THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE PART AND THE PERMANENT REMEDY WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS LESS THAN 5.
TRANSMISSION IS MAKING CLANKING VIBRATION/NOISE WHEN SLOWING TO A STOP. THE VEHICLE IS NOT EVEN 1 YEAR OLD AND HAS BEEN TO TWO DIFFERENT DEALERS FOR RESOLUTION. PROBLEM STILL PRESENT. *LA
GROANING/GRINDING NOISE IN THE BACK WHEELS AT SLOW SPEEDS, MOSTLY WHEN LEAVING A PARKING GARAGE, STOP LIGHTS, PARKING LOTS. BRAKE PEDALS NOT DEPRESSED AT THE TIME. NOISE INCREASES WHEN TEMPERATURE IS LOW AND HUMIDITY IS HIGH. NOISE STARTED AT 1,000 MILES (LESS THAN A MONTH AFTER THE DATE OF PURCHASE). TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP WHO AT FIRST COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. I RECORDED THE NOISE SEVERAL TIMES AND PLAYED TO THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE MANAGER. IN FOR REPAIRS FOR THE SAME PURPOSE OVER 10 TIMES DURING THE 1ST YEAR, WITHOUT SUCCESS. ISSUE IS NOW WITH CHRYSLER ENGINEERING WHO APPEARS NOT TO BE IN ANY HURRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. DEALERSHIP DOES NOT FOLLOW-UP AND DOES NOT COMMUNICATE ON THE STATUS OF THIS ISSUE. ALSO NEVER RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE. TOOK THE CAR IN FOR THE RECALL SERVICE AFTER SEING YOUR NOTICE, AND WAS TOLD IT MIGHT TAKE A COUPLE OF MONTHS FOR THE RECALL NOTICES TO GET OUT. IT'S BEEN 6 MONTHS, AND NO RECALL NOTICE AS YET. OTHER ISSUES WITH THIS CAR ARE ANOTHER RATTLING NOISE THAT THEY CAN'T FIX. A WEATHER STRIP ON THE DRIVER'S WINDOW THAT HAD TO BE REPLACED 7 TIMES (SO FAR) BECAUSE IT KEEPS COMING LOOSE. EXCESSIVE VIBRATION WHEN ON THE HIGHWAY AT SPEEDS OF 70 MPH. WIND NOISE COMING FROM EVERY DIRECTION, CAN'T HARDLY HEAR THE RADIO. RADIO QUALITY IS SO BAD I CAN'T USE IT. HAVE TO PLAY CDS INSTEAD. AND CHRYSLER WON'T DO A THING TO REMEDIATE THE PROBLEMS. *LA
2003 JEEP LIBERTY LIMITED-HUMMING/VIBRATION ON RIGHT SIDE OF VEHICLE-EXTREMELY BAD IN THE MORNING BUT CAN BE HEARD THROUGHOUT THE DAY AS THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN. CHRYSLER TECH IS AWARE OF THIS DEFECT IN SOME LIBERTYS BUT DOESN'T KNOW WHY IT OCCURS OR HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY HAVE INSTEAD CHOSEN TO CALL THIS A NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE VEHICLE. OWNERS OF VEHICLES WITH THIS DEFECT MAY BE AT RISK SINCE CHRYSLER HAS NO IDEA WHAT IS CAUSING THE VIBRATION/HUMMING AND NO CURRENT FIX FOR THE PROBLEM. *NLM
COMPUTER FAILURE, ENGINE CUT OFF, INTERIOR LIGHTS, FIVE WINDOW MOTORS AND GLASS..CAR SHOULD BE RECALLED..SAFETY ISSUES. *TR
THERE WAS SQUEALING, WHEN DRIVING AND TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL. AFTER TAKING IT TO THE DEALER, NO DEFECTS WERE FOUND. THE REAR BRAKES WERE INSPECTED. NO CONTACT WITH THE MANUFACTURER.*AK

THERE WAS VIBRATION IN THE FRONT END WHEN SPEED EXCEEDED 40 MPH. DEALERSHIP INSPECTED VEHICLE, BUT COULDN'T LOCATE THE CAUSE OF THE VIBRATION. A WEEK LATER, WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY FRONT LEFT WHEEL NUT FLEW OFF AND HIT THE GRILL. ON ANOTHER OCCASION THE FRONT LEFT TIRE FELL OFF WHILE REVERSING. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO DEALERSHIP, AND DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE BALL JOINTS. *AK
WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 40 - 55 MPH, VEHICLE DRIVELINE SEVERLY VIBRATES.
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE SUDDENLY LAUNCHED FORWARD WITHOUT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BEING DEPRESSED. VEHICLE WAS SERVICED SEVERAL TIMES, AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTS WERE PERFORMED BEFORE THE DEALERSHIP LOCATED THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. TRANSMISSION WAS BAD AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK
STEEL WHEELS ON MY JEEP LIBERTY HAVE A LIPID GROVE THAT FILLS WITH ICE,SNOW,MUD AND SAND. THIS IS ESPECIALLY BAD WITH OFF ROAD USE. THIS CAUSES THE FRONT WHEEL BALANCE TO GO OUT AND CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO STEER AND HANDLE VERY ERRACTICALLY. IT MAY TAKE SEVERAL TRIES WITH A POWER HOSE TO CLEAR THE WHEELS. YOU CANNOT SEE BEHIND THE SPOKES TO SEE IF ALL IS CLEAR.*JB

WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE VEHICLE CONSTANTLY PULLED TO THE RIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED WHILE AT A COMPLETE STOP. *NLM
VEHICLE HAS SEVERAL OCCURENCES OF SUDDEN ACCELERATION, ONE OCCASSION RESULTING IN A MINOR REAR-END COLLISION. DT
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED ACCELERATION SURGES. *MR THE SURGING OCCURRED AT RANDOM TIMES ABOVE 25 MPH. THE ACCELERATION SURGE ALSO OCCURRED WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED. ALSO THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO FOURTH GEAR AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IF A SHIFT WAS MISSED, THE TRANSMISSION WINDED UP BUT NO POWER WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE WHEELS. WITH THE CLUTCH ENGAGED, THE TRANSMISSION COULD NOT BE PUT INTO GEAR UNTIL THE TRANSMISSION WINDED DOWN. *TT *JB
2003 JEEP LIBERTY PURCHASED IN 2002 HAS HAD PROBLEM SINCE PURCHASE. THE VEHICLE ACTS LIKE IT IS IN 4-W DRIVE WHEN IT ISN'T. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MAKE EVEN GENTLE TURNS THERE ARE LOUD CRACKING SOUNDS AND GRINDING NOISES. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL OF THE TIME AND WILL GO MANY MONTHS WITHOUT THE PROBLEM. THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE WITNESSES TO THE NOISE AND THE HOPPING OF THE CAR WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MAKE THE TURNS. HOPPING IS MOST EVIDENT WHEN ATTEMPTING TO PULL INTO A PARKING SPOT EVEN WHEN MAKING A WIDE TURN TO AVOID A HARD/TIGHT TURN INTO THE SPACE. THE NOISE AND HOPPING AGAIN OCCUR WHEN TRYING TO PULL OUT OF THE PARKING SPACE. THIS HAPPENS IN 4-W DRIVE AS WELL AS WHEN OUT OF 4-W DRIVE. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE DEALER WHO DOES NOT RECORD MY COMPLAINT BUT ONLY STATES THAT I CAN PAY FOR A CHECK OF THE TRANSMISSION IF I WANT. THEY STATED THAT IT WAS COMMON FOR JEEP LIBERTY VEHICLES TO HOP AND MAKE THIS NOISE WHEN IN 4-W DRIVE. NOW THAT MY CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE AND THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER FIXED. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED. I LOST A SON LAST YEAR. I CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE MY TRANSMISSION, TRANSFER CASE, ETC. REPAIRED BECAUSE I AM STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY. JUST RECENTLY THE LIGHT HAS STAYED ON STATING I AM IN PART-TIME 4-W EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT. THE PERFORM SERVICE LIGHT HAS STAYED ON EVER SINCE THE VERY FIRST SERVICE ON MY VEHICLE IN 2002. THE DEALER DOES NOT FIX ANYTHING. DURING ONE SERVICE THE VEHICLE BOLTS WERE LEFT OFF AND I WAS TOLD THAT THE CAR DIDN'T REALLY NEED THOSE THEY WERE JUST TO PREVENT RATTLING. THEY ALSO CHARGED ME FOR A FUEL AND AIR FILTER DURING A SERVICE WHICH WAS NOT PUT ON MY CAR. WHEN TAKING MY CAR TO THE FIRESTONE DEALER THE VERY NEXT DAY TO HAVE TIRES PUT ON THEY SHOWED ME MY FILTERS (STILL ON THE CAR) AND TOLD ME TO REPORT IT. THE DEALER IS THE LITHIA CHRYSLER JEEP DEALER LOCATED AT 3223 MILL STREET IN RENO, NEVADA. THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AS TO UNETHICAL PRACTICES.
SINCE PURCHASING IN SEPT 02 HAVE HAD VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE SIX TIMES FOR NUMEROUS CONCERNS, REPEATEDLY FOR A CLUNKING/GRINDING SOUND FROM THE PSGR SD FT, A SEVERE PULLING OF THE VEHICLE TO THE RIGHT, A VIBRATION WHEN DRIVING HWY SPEEDS, AND INTERMITTENT ENGINE MISSES. DEALERSHIP TWICE REPLACED THE FRONT END STRUT MOUNTS WHICH ELIMATED THE GRIND/CLUNK, BUT CANNOT ASCERTAIN THE PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE'S INSTABILITY (PULLING) ON THE ROAD NOR WITH THE ENGINE MISFIRES. AN ADJUSTMENT (OFF SPEC) TO THE ALIGNMENT WAS PERFORMED BY DEALERSHIP WHICH IN TURN CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO PULL TO THE LEFT AND ALSO ENCOURAGED MORE STEERING VIBRATION AND WORSENED MPG - AVG 13.21 MPG WHERE INITIALLY I GOT 18 -20 MPG. DEALERSHIP CLAIMS THAT B/C ROADS ARE ANGLED FOR WATER RUNOFF, THIS LIKEWISE KEEPS MY VEHICLE FROM STAYING ON THE ROAD (!?) AM CURRENTLY BEGINNING TO EXPERIENCE A CLUNKING NOISE FROM REAR PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL AREA, BUT HAVE NOT YET BROUGHT IT TO DEALER'S ATTENTION.*JB

IN JANUARY 2013, I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE REGARDING THE AIR BAG SYSTEM OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE. I CALLED THE DEALER IN BOISE, ID ON JULY 13, 2013, AND THEY SAID THE PARTS WEREN'T AVAILABLE TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM SO THEY TOOK MY NAME & NUMBER AND SAID THEY'D CALL WHEN THE PARTS WERE AVAILABLE. I CALLED AGAIN ON JULY 10, 2013 AND THE PARTS ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND THEY DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHEN THEY WILL BE. IF THIS PROBLEM WAS URGENT ENOUGH TO SEND OUT A RECALL NOTICE IN JANUARY, WHY IS IT THAT IN JULY THEY STILL CAN'T FIX THE PROBLEM AND, IN FACT, DON'T HAVE ANY AVAILABLE PARTS TO DO SO? THERE IS A HUMMING NOISE COMING FROM THE TRUCK WHEN REACHING 60MPH ALSO THE JEEP VIBRATES AT THAT SPEED. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO WARNOCK IN CEDAR KNOLLS AFTER SPENDING MORE THAN 3 DAYS BACK AND FORTH THEY ADVISED IT WAS THE DRIVESHAFT, LEFT THE JEEP WITH WARNOCK ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THE CONDITION IS UNDER INVESTIGATION, SO THE TRUCK IS NOT FIXED AND I CAN'T TAKE IT MORE THAN 60MPH..*AK

2003 JEEP LIBERTY CUSTOMER IS LOOKING FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPAIRS BECAUSE CUSTOMER NEVER RECEIVED RECALL NOTICE**CC THE CONSUMER STATED THE BALL JOINT SEPARATED AND SUBSEQUENTLY CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO DROP DOWN ON TO THE TIRE/WHEEL ASSEMBLY TO THE POINT WHERE COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE STEERING WAS LOST. THE MANUFACTURER DENIED REIMBURSEMENT, BECAUSE THE CONSUMER DID NOT HAVE THE WORK DONE AT A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. *JB

DEALERSHIP HAD THE PART TO PERFORM LOWER BALL JOINT RECALL 03V46000 REPAIRS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF JANUARY, BUT THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT SENT DEALERSHIP THE TOOLS NEEDED TO INSTALL THE PART.*AK
UPON SHIFTING VEHICLE OUT OF PARK INTO DRIVE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AT HIGH RATE OF SPEED. CONSUMER TURNED IGNITION SWITCH OFF TO COME TO A STOP. *AK
POORLY DESIGNED WHEELS/RIMS HELD MUD, ICE, SNOW ETC. IN OR NEAR THE VALVE STEMS. *PH *JB
CONSUMER STARTED VEHICLE, AND IT SURGED FORWARD, ACCELERATING TO 50 MPH, HITTING OBJECTS IN FRONT UNTIL IT CAME TO A STOP. ALL OF THIS OCCURRED WHILE CONSUMER HAD FOOT ON THE BRAKES. VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. *AK
