5 MONTHS AGO THERE WAS WATER LEAKING FROM REAR DOME LIGHT AND HEADLINER. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND SAID IT WAS PROBABLY THE SUN ROOF SEAL. SO I REPLACED THAT AT $241.00. IT HAPPENED AGAIN AND WORSE. THEY ARE STILL UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP WANTS TO PULL THE HEADLINER TO "LOOK" FOR THE PROBLEM AT A $500.00 COST TO ME. IF THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH JEEP PATRIOTS...WHY ARE THEY DOING NOTHING TO ASSIST THE CUSTOMER? THIS IS NOTHING I HAVE DONE TO CAUSE THE PROBLEM. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO GOOD OLD CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A PRODUCT THAT IS DEFECTIVE? *JS
AT 21,237 MILES, FRONT TIE RODS AND BALL JOINTS HAD TO BE REPLACED FOR A TOTAL OF $1500. AT THIS AMOUNT OF MILES, THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. AFTER SOME INTERNET RESEARCH, I DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS ON ONGOING PROBLEM IN JEEP PATRIOTS THAT HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED BY CHRYSLER. I WAS ACTUALLY TOLD THAT MY CAR WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE WITHOUT THESE REPAIRS, AND I HAD BEEN DRIVING IT REGULARLY (WITHOUT ANY SYMPTOMS OF PROBLEMS) AND COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED IN A FIERY CRASH BECAUSE OF CHRYSLER'S NEGLECT. *TR
MY DAUGHTER CALLED AND SAID ALL OF HER LIGHTS WERE OUT BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE JEEP. WINDSHIELD WIPERS DID NOT WORK. BASICALLY EVERYTHING STOPPED WORKING. SHE WAS ABLE TO START IT AND I TOLD HER TO TAKE IT TO THE JEEP DEALER IN CHRISTIANBURG VA. THEY CHECKED IT OUT AND TOLD HER THE CONTROL ARM FOR THE SIGNALS LIGHTS WAS BROKEN BUT COULD NOT GET A NEW ONE UNTIL MONDAY, THIS WAS FRIDAY NIGHT. I TOLD HER TO COME HOME VERY SLOWLY BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING. SHE MADE IT HOME SAFELY, I CHECKED SEVERAL JEEP FORUMS AND FOUND OUT IF YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND LET THE COMPUTER REBOOT IT WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. SURE ENOUGH IT DID AND SAVED ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS.EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THIS TO KEEP FROM GETTING INTO TROUBLE ON THE HWY. I HAVE QUESTIONED THE DEALER IN RICHMOND ABOUT BUT THEY SAY THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THE PROBLEM IS THERE AND SOME PEOPLE KNOW BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME HOW TO SOLVE THE ISSUE. PLEASE LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS ISSUE BOTH FOR SAFETY AND WASTED MONEY AT A DEALER. *JS
THE HEADRESTS IN THE 2010 JEEP PATRIOT ARE OF INFERIOR QUALITY AND MAY PUT OWNERS AT RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. A CHEAP PIECE OF PLASTIC OR METAL INSIDE OF MY DRIVER'S SIDE HEADREST RECENTLY BROKE. AS A RESULT, THE HEADREST MERELY HANGS AND CANNOT BE ADJUSTED. ON 8/6/13, I WAS INFORMED BY A SERVICE ADVISOR AT RAIRDON DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP (KIRKLAND, WA), THAT THE BROKEN PART COULD NOT BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED AND THAT THE COST OF REPLACING THE HEADREST WOULD BE $498. I BELIEVE THIS TO BE ENTIRELY UNREASONABLE, FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1. A DEFECTIVE PART OR A PART OF VERY POOR QUALITY WAS USED IN THE HEADREST 2. THE POOR DESIGN OF THE HEADREST DOES NOT PERMIT THIS INEXPENSIVE PART TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED WITHOUT REPLACING MANY MORE EXPENSIVE, ELECTRONIC PARTS 3. JEEP PATRIOTS WITH PROBLEM HEADRESTS ARE ALMOST CERTAINLY LESS SAFE, GIVEN THE FACT THAT THE BRAKES AND/OR AIRBAGS MAY FAIL TO WORK PROPERLY (DUE TO MALFUNCTIONING SENSORS INSIDE OF THE HEADREST; THEY MAY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY, AS A RESULT OF THE HEADREST NOT MAINTAINING A PROPER POSITION) 4. THE COST OF REPLACING THE HEADREST (WHICH CANNOT BE REPAIRED) IS PROHIBITIVELY EXPENSIVE AND MAY EVEN CONSTITUTE AN ILLEGAL FORM OF FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION I HOPE THAT THE NHTSA WILL CONSIDER ISSUING A FORMAL RECALL FOR THE HEADRESTS IN THE 2010 JEEP PATRIOT AND/OR ORDER RAIRDON DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP TO REPLACE THE HEADRESTS ON MY VEHICLE AT LITTLE OR NO COST. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP PATRIOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND LEAKED TRANSMISSION FLUID WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE TRANSMISSION WARNING LIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,000.
I WAS DRIVING OVER TO MY PARENTS HOUSE AND MY DAD NOTICED A SMELL OF PLASTIC BURNING WHEN I ARRIVED. HE LIFTED THE HOOD AND THE AIR INLET DUCT WAS NOT PROPERLY POSITIONED AND HAD MOVED OVER AND WAS LAYING ON THE MANIFOLD. HE NOTICED 1 OF THE 2 SCREWS USED TO HOLD THE DUCT IN POSITION WAS MISSING. HE PULLED THE DUCT PART OFF AND NOTICED A HOLE IN THE UNDERSIDE WHERE IT HAD LAID ON THE MANIFOLD AND HEATED UP MELTING THE PLASTIC HOUSING. HE COVERED UP THE HOLE WITH DUCT TAPE AND RELOCATED IT TO THE PROPER POSITION. HE REPOSITIONED IT AND SECURED THE PART WITH ZIP-TIES. *JB
I HAD MY CAR IN TO REPAIR A FLAT TIRE AND THE MECHANIC REPORTED TO ME THAT ONE OF THE FRONT BALL JOINTS NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED ASAP. *TR
MY DAUGHTER CALLED FROM COLLEGE TO TELL ME HER TURN SIGNALS HEAD LIGHTS DASH LIGHTS AND WIPERS HAD ALL STOPPED WORKING. SHE TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL JEEP DEALER WHO TOLD HER IT WAS THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH AND COULD NOT WORK ON IT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. SHE HAD TO COME HOME IN THE RAIN, DRIVE 250 MILES WITH OUT TURN SIGNALS, LIGHTS OR WIPERS. THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM THAT THE JEEP NEEDS TO ADDRESS AND FIX IT. I STARTED LOOKING ON LINE AT SOME JEEP FORUMS AND FOUND SOME THINGS TO TRY. THE FIRST ONE I TRIED GOT EVERYTHING WORKING FOR NOW STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT CAUSED THE ORIGINAL ISSUES THOUGH AND JEEP IS NOT GOING TO ADMIT TO ANYTHING. ALL I DID WAS UNHOOK THE POSITIVE CABLE TO THE BATTERY AND RESET THE ON BOARD CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THE JEEP. PLEASE PASS THIS INFO ON IT REALLY HELPED MY DAUGHTER AND SAVED A FORTUNE IN UNNECESSARY PARTS AND WORK FROM THE DEALER. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE NEEDED THE BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,499.
2010 JEEP PATRIOT. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE DESIGN FLAW THAT WAS REPAIRED. *SMD ..UPDATED 04/24/13 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THAT WHEN PRESSING THE BRAKE IT WENT TO THE FLOOR. THE CONSUMER WAS ADVISED THAT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE LINE WAS WRAPPED AROUND THE BACK BREAK LINE. THIS PUT A WHOLE ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE BREAK LINE WHICH CAUSED FLUID TO LEAK OUT. BOUGHT A USED 2010 JEEP PATRIOT A MONTH AND A HALF AGO WITH LESS THAN 20,000 MILES ON IT AND NO APPARENT PROBLEMS. DROVE MY CAR ON DECEMBER 29TH AFTER COMING BACK FROM CHRISTMAS VACATION AND WAS GREETED BY A WATERFALL COMING OUT OF MY MAP LIGHT. AFTER STOPPING, ALSO DISCOVERED A LAKE OF WATER BEHIND THE DRIVERS SEAT. SINCE I DISCOVERED THIS LATE IN THE DAY THAT SATURDAY, AND THE NEW YEAR'S HOLIDAY WAS THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK, I COULDN'T GET MY CAR INTO THE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE UNTIL THURSDAY. IN THE MEAN TIME, IT RAINED AGAIN AND I HAD YET ANOTHER WATER DISASTER TO DEAL WITH. *TR
ENGINE STALLED WHILE DRIVING 45MPH ON A CITY STREET IN NORMAL WEATHER CONDITIONS. *TR
JEEP SEEMS TO GET REVVED UP AND GETS STUCK THERE, AND I CAN'T SEEM TO STOP IT SHORT OFF SHUTTING IT DOWN. LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED WAS ON 10/8/12 AS I WAS GETTING ON FREEWAY. I WAS NOT GOING MORE THAN 30 MILES AN HOUR WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT REVVED UP TO ABOUT 5. HOWEVER, WHEN I TOOK FOOT OFF GAS IT DID NOT GO DOWN, EVEN AFTER TAPPING BRAKE. ALSO, EVEN AFTER GIVING GAS AGAIN, COULD BARELY GET IT TO MOVE SO I COULD GET TO SIDE OF ROAD,(THANK GOODNESS NOBODY WAS BEHIND ME) AS I COASTED OVER AND SHUT IT DOWN RIGHT THERE, AFTER RESTARTING IT WAS FINE. MY MOM AND SISTER WERE WITH ME AND CAN VERIFY WHAT HAPPENED. THIS HAS ACTUALLY HAPPENED A COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE, BUT NEVER WHEN ENTERING FREEWAY! THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED WAS 2010 AND I CALLED DEALER RIGHT AFTER INCIDENT,(ACTUALLY SHUT JEEP OFF AND CALLED RIGHT AWAY), DON'T THINK THEY BELIEVED ME. JEEP ALSO FEELS LIKE IT IS GOING TO STALL (MORE OFTEN THIS YEAR), ESPECIALLY AT LIGHTS, HAVE TO GIVE IT GAS WHILE WAITING. I MENTIONED THIS ALSO AT LAST OIL CHANGE AT DEALER, NOBODY SEEMS TO THINK THERE IS A PROBLEM. AFTER HEARING ABOUT INCIDENTS WITH 2011 AND 2012 MODELS I THOUGHT I SHOULD DOCUMENT MINE AS MAY BE SAME PROBLEM. *TR
BACK IN JUNE WHILE DRIVING TO FLORIDA FROM ILLINOIS I WAS GOING ABOUT 70 MPH. IN GEORGIA WHILE ON I-75 THE LITTLE RED TRANSMISSION CAUTION LIGHT APPEARED AND MY 2010 JEEP BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN AND SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME. I GOT OFF THE NEXT EXIT AND WAS LUCKY TO FIND A JEEP DEALER NEAR THE EXIT. THE DEALER TOOK ME RIGHT IN AND CHECKED THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND IT WAS FINE. SHE NEVER CHARGED ME AND WE WENT ON OUR WAY. DROVE TO MIAMI AND BACK TO ILLINOIS A WEEK LATER WITH NO PROBLEM. 2 WEEKS AGO I DROVE TO NYC AND ON MY WAY BACK TO ILLINOIS ON I-80 THE LIGHT WENT ON AGAIN WITH NO EXIT IN SIGHT, AGAIN THE JEEP SLOWED I PULLED ON THE SHOULDER. SHUT THE ENGINE OFF WAITED 15 MIN THEN STARTED TO DRIVE AGAIN NO PROBLEM. MY MAIN CONCERN IS WHY THIS HAPPENED? AND ITS NOT A SAFE FEATURE THIS SLOWING DOWN OF THE JEEP CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.. ALSO WHY THE JEEP BOOK STATES ON PAGE 367 (SEE ATTACHED) THAT THIS CAN OCCUR WHEN THE TRANSMISSION GETS TOO HOT. I WAS NOT TOWING IN EITHER CASE..THIS JEEP NEEDS TO BE RECALLED FOR MY SAFETY.. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP PATRIOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION OVERHEATED AND THE GEAR SHIFTER COULD NOT BE MOVED TO SHIFT GEARS. THE TRANSMISSION OVERHEATING WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AS THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING. THE DEALER PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC WHICH WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE A FAILURE CODE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 55,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP PATRIOT. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, WATER LEAKED INTO THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND REAR OVERHEAD INTERIOR LIGHTING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SUN ROOF WAS THE SOURCE OF THE LEAK. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
MY PATRIOT STALLED ON THE FREEWAY. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. I TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC WHERE THEY SAID THIS COULD HAVE BEEN FROM A FAULTY GAS GAUGE AND I WAS OUT OF GASOLINE. I DO NOT THINK THIS WAS THE CASE. *TR
WHEN TRAVELING OVER 40 MPH WITH REAR DOOR WINDOWS OPEN YOU WILL FEEL THE THUMP OF AIR PREASURE COMING TO YOUR EARS, THE FASTER YOU GO THE LOUDER IT GETS TO THE POINT IT HURTS YOUR EARS. AERO DYNAMICS CAUSE RAPID CHANGE IN CABBIN AIR PRESURE WITH REAR DOOR WINDOWS OPEN. EVEN WITH ONLY ONE WINDOW OPEN IT HURTS MY EARS!
TAKATA RECALL MY CAR IS BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEMS ALMOS 7 YEARS THE FIRST ONE WAS THE START ENGINE, SECOND ONE WAS THE AIR BAG LIGHT, THIRT ONE THE AIR CONDITIONS, SOMETIME WHEN I'M DRIVING IT JUST TURN OFF, WHILE I AM DRIVING IT STARTS TO WHISTLE OR DURING THE NIGHT IT JUST SOUNDS VERY LONG LIME SOMEONE IS JUST PASSING IT. WHEN I WENT TO THE DEALER THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND WANT ME TO PAY JUST FOR INSPECTION NO TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP PATRIOT. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS BEING SERVICED FOR AN OIL CHANGE WHEN THEY STATED THE FRONT BALLS JOINTS ON BOTH WHEELS WERE LOOSE. THE BALL JOINTS WERE NOT LEAKING ANY FLUID. THE CONTACT STATED THE FAILURE WAS A MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 9,700.
I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE I REAR-ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. I WAS GOING ABOUT 35 AND MY VEHICLE WAS IMBEDDED IN THE BUMPER OF THE OTHER VEHICLE. THE TOW TRUCK HAD TO PULL THE VEHICLES APART AND THERE IS ABOUT $7,500 IN DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE. I HIT MY KNEE ON THE DASH AND HAD BRUISING FROM THE SEAT BELT. MY AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY WHICH HAS ME GREATLY CONCERNED. I HAD SOMEONE THAT WAS HIGHED BY CHRYSLER TO COME OUT AND INSPECT THE VEHICLE. CHRYLER SENT ME A LETTER THAT DUE TO THE DECELERATION THE AIR BAGS WERE NOT ACTIVATED. *TR
WHEN I GET UP TO SPEEDS BETWEEN 50-60MPH, I FEEL OUTSIDE AIR COMING THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN. THIS WINTER IT'S BEEN EXTREMELY COLD AND I'M NEEDING TO MOVE MY HANDS TOWARDS THE TOP OF THE STEERING WHEEL TO AVOID THE COLD AIR LEAKING IN. WHEN I MAKE SHARP TURNS BETWEEN 25-45MPH, I GET MORE COLD AIR COMING IN AS IF I OPENED A WINDOW. I NEED TO CRANK UP THE HEAT IN ORDER TO AVOID GETTING COLD MYSELF. I AM FORCED TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL A CERTAIN WAY TO AVOID THE COLD AIR. I TOOK IT TO A DEALERSHIP WHO SAID OH IT'S THE WINDSHIELD, SO THEY REPLACED THAT. IN THE MEANTIME I DROVE A 2011 CALIBER HOME AND IT WAS EVEN WORSE, THERE WAS SO MUCH AIR LEAKING OUT FROM THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE SUN ROOF WAS LEAKING AIR AS WELL. I TOLD THIS TO THE MANAGER (JERK) [XXX] WHO SAID WELL THAT'S THE WAY THEY ARE MADE. WELL IT WASN'T THE WINDSHIELD, THE MANAGER [XXX] AT ROBERSON SAID THAT'S HOW THE VEHICLES ARE MADE. I REALLY THINK THIS IS FACTORY DEFECT, THERE SHOULD BE NO OUTSIDE AIR COMING INTO A 2010 JEEP PATRIOT AT HIGH RATE OF SPEED UNLESS A WINDOW IS OPEN. I AM VERY UPSET THAT I EVEN BOUGHT THIS JEEP, BECAUSE BOTTOM LINE SERVICE MEN ARE MEAN. WHEN I SAT AT ROBERSON WAITING FOR MY JEEP THERE WERE 3 OTHER WOMEN WAITING FOR THEIR VEHICLES AND THEY HAD COMPLAINTS. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, BECAUSE I'M BEING FORCED TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL A CERTAIN WAY, CRANKING UP THE HEATER FULL BLAST TO COUNTER ACT THE COLD AIR LEAKING IN(CREATES A LOUD NOISE UNABLE TO HEAR TRAFFIC) AND MY THIGHS ARE FREEZING BY THE TIME I GET TO WORK. GOD, SUMMER IS GOING TO BE A NIGHTMARE!!! THANKS T&C IN WILSONVILLE FOR SELLING ME A DEFECTIVE VEHICLE. I STARTED NOTICING A DAMP/MOISTURE TYPE OF SMELL IN MY JEEP AND THOUGHT IT MAY JUST BE THE VENTS FROM HAVING HEAT/AC ON! BUT THEN STARTED FINDING A LITTLE WATER ON MY PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR MAT AND SEAT! JUST A FEW DROPS AND THOUGHT MAYBE JUST FROM OPENING THE WINDOW! IT KEPT HAPPENING AND HAPPENING EVERY TIME IT RAINED AND SNOWED! THEN I NOTICED WATER DRIPPING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW PILLAR NEXT TO WINDSHIELD AND REALIZED IT WAS LEAKING! I CALLED JEEP AND THEY TOLD ME I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT EVEN THOUGH I'M UNDER WARRANTY! THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND I BOUGHT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY AND STILL FINANCING THE [XXX] THING! TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP PATRIOT FWD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WATER PENETRATED THE VEHICLE THROUGH THE ROOF, DAMAGING THE OVERHEAD LIGHT AND THE DASHBOARD. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY ADVISED THE CONTACT TO HAVE A DEALER DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 42,000.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE IN THE RAIN, WATER STARTED POURING THROUGH THE INTERIOR LIGHTS, BOTH FRONT AND BACK, WATER WAS EVEN COMING IN THROUGH THE AIR BAG POINTS. WATER GOT INTO THE RADIO/CD PLAYER/VENTS EVERYWHERE. I WAS SCARED, IT WAS HARD TO SEE AND AFTER SEVERAL MINUTES WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD (EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS), I WAS VERY LUCKY I DID NOT CRASH, AS IT WAS VERY HARD TO SEE. UPON INSPECTION AT THE DEALERSHIP IT WAS DISCOVERED A BULLETIN WAS OUT ON THE CAR FOR FRONT/REAR SUNROOF DRAIN SYSTEM FAILURE AND THE GASKET/SEAL ON THE SUNROOF FAILED. I HAVE ONLY HAD THE JEEP FOR 8-9 MONTHS.
TIRE LOW SENSOR WAS ACTIVATED. UPON CHECKING TIRE PRESSURE, NOTICED TWO VALVE STEMS WERE BROKEN OFF. THEY WERE REPLACED AT OWNERS EXPENSE AS CHRYSLER SAID IT WASN'T COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. CAR CURRENTLY HAS THREE MORE BROKEN STEMS. MATERIAL SEEMS TO BE DEFECTIVE AND CANNOT REPLACE STEMS WITHOUT REPLACING ENTIRE SENSOR. *TR

There has already been a TBA service bulletion on this vehicle. It has to do with the front and rear subframes. I just bought this vehicle a couple months ago . The old owner never replaced them so now it's so rusted out that the toe can't b adjusted and the tires are pointing inward horribly wearing the inside tread of tires wear out 90× faster. The subframes about to snap causing the whole rear end to hit the ground

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO CONFIRMED THAT THE SHIFT LEVER RETAINING CLIP CAUSED THE GEAR SHIFT TO FAIL. THE DEALER REPLACED THE RETAINING SHIFT LEVER CLIP AND CABLE. THE CONTACT HAD TO EXIT THE VEHICLE AND MANUALLY REMOVE THE SNOW FROM THE WINDSHIELD IN ORDER TO REGAIN VISIBILITY. THE FAILURE HAD SINCE RECURRED ON AN INTERMITTENT BASIS DURING SNOWY WEATHER CONDITIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
