CAR HAS AN ENGINE KNOCKING SOUND FROM A BAD ROD. THE ENGINE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BUT IS OUT OF WARRANTY. THE REPAIR WILL COST MORE THAN THE VEHICLE IS WORTH.
MY ABS, AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON BEFORE. AFTER REPLACING THE CLOCK SPRING THE LIGHTS ARE STILL ON, AND ALSO BOTH MY BACK SEAT BELTS WILL NOT GO DOWN. THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN ANY ACCIDENTS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 KIA SORENTO. THE CONTACT STATED THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR FAILED TO OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE AND WAS DIFFICULT TO OPEN FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED OR INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,000.
AT 100000 MILES ENGINE HAD MAJOR FAILURE NEEDING TO BE REPLACED HAD MECHANIC INSTALL USED ENGINE WITH 75000 MILES AND THIS ENGINE IS HAVING TIMING ISSUES UNABLE TO GET IT INSPECTED BECAUSE IT WON'T PASS EMISSION TEST
AIRBAG LIGHT FOR PASSENGER IS ON. ALSO THE BACK RIGHT PASSENGER DOOR WON'T OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE OR INSIDE. DOOR NOT LOCKED AND CHILD LOCK IS OFF.
THE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF WHENEVER THE IGNITION IS ON AND VEHICLE IS RUNNING.
WE WERE DRIVING ON A ROAD AT ABOUT 35 MILES AN HOUR WHEN THERE WAS A LOUD BANG FROM THE REAR END ALMOST SOUNDED AS IF A TIRE HEAD BLOWN UPON BRINGING IT BACK AND DOING TESTS AND CHECKS WE FOUND AT THE REAR TRANSFER CASE OR DIFFERENTIAL WAS TO BLAME. UPON FURTHER RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET WE FOUND THAT THERE HAS BEEN MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL OR TRANSFER CASE OCCURRING ON MANY OF THE SAME VEHICLES
I have paint delaminating from many areas of my car. It is a Snow White Pearl 2011Kia Sorento.
I CAN NOT OPEN BOTH DRIVER DOOR AND REAR RIGHT PASSENGER DOOR FROM OUTSIDE IT SEEMS THE LATCHES FOR THESE DOORS ARE BROKEN I HAVE ALWAYS TO JUMP TO THE PASSENGER SIDE TO OPEN THESE DOORS.I THINK THERE MUST BE A RECALL TO BE REPORTED TO KIA MANUFACTURERS TO FIX THIS DEFECTIVE DOORS.
THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. WHEN ABLE TO SAFELY PULL OVER TO THE A PARKING LOT THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT OFF AND TURNED BACK ON. THE LIGHT STAYED ON.
NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS, BOTH THE ESC AND DBC INDICATOR LIGHTS WILL COME ON AND STAY ON AS I'M ATTEMPTING TO PARK THE VEHICLE. THIS HAS PREVENTED ME FROM SHIFTING THE CAR INTO 'PARK' AFTER PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE AS I CAN'T GET IT TO SHIFT BEYOND 'NEUTRAL.' WHEN THIS HAPPENS, I'VE HAD TO SHUT THE CAR OFF, AND START IT AGAIN. IF THE INDICATOR LIGHTS GO OFF AFTER RESTARTING, I CAN THEN SHIFT THE CAR INTO PARK. I BROUGHT THE CAR INTO MY LOCAL KIA DEALER THIS MORNING BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO REPLICATE THE ISSUE, AND SINCE THEY DIDN'T HAVE A TECHNICIAN ON DUTY TO LOOK AT IT, I NOW HAVE TO RETURN ON MONDAY IN THE HOPE THAT THEY CAN FIGURE OUT AND FIX THIS ISSUE.
ALL STEERING WHEEL FUNCTION HAVE STOP WORKING INCLUDING HORN. RADIO, CRUISE AND BLUE TOOTH CONTROLS. DURING A TRIP ON THE HIGH WAY
I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE ALL DOORSOP LATCHES ON MY 2011 SORENTO WITH ONLY 72,000 MILES ON IT. I AM A SENIOR SO THE DOORS ARE NOT OPENED AND SHUT THE MUCH. MAINLY THE DRIVERS DOOR USED.
MY CAR STALLS WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY OR STREET. THE ENGINE LIGHT OR DASHBOARD LIGHTS WILL COME ON AND MY CAR WILL NOT ACCELERATE ALTHOUGH IT IS ON. AFTER CONTINOUSLY TRYING TO ACCELERATE THE CAR CUTS OFF. I PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND TURN OFF AND IT STARTS AGAIN. THIS IS UNSAFE BECAUSE I CAN BE HIT BY ANOTHER WHEN MY CAR SUDDENLY DECIDES TO NOT ACCELERATE. THE COMPONENT PART OR SYSTEM THAT MAY BE THE CAUSE IS UNKNOWN.

THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR HANDLE WILL NOT OPEN THE FROM THE OUTSIDE OR INSIDE THE VEHICLE. CAR IS STATIONARY. CAUSE IS UNKNOWN, JUST COULD NOT OPEN ONE DAY.
ON THE INTERSTATE THE CAR MISSED & DIED. TRIED TO START AND IT MADE A RATTLING SOUND. A TN TROOPER SD IT SOUNDS LIKE TIMING CHAIN AND WE HAD TO TOW IT HOME 75 MILES $500. A FORD MASTER MECH SD IN 20 YRS HE NEVER SAW THIS B4. OIL LEVEL WAS FULL BUT THE OIL WASN'T GETTING TO THE ENGINE AND THE CRANK CRACKED IN 3 SPOTS. CALLED LOCAL KIA MARYVILLE TN & SHE SD IT WAS OVER THE 100,000 MILE WARRANTY AND I BOUGHT IT USED.. NO TELLING WHAT THE OTHER DEALER DID TO IT. STILL I DO TO TOW IT TO KIA PARKSIDE KNOXVILLE TN AND PD THEM ALMOST $200 TO TELL ME THE EXACT SAME THING; HE'D BEEN A MECH FOR 20+ YRS AND HAD NO IDEA HOW THAT COULD EVEN HAPPEN. THEY WON'T FIX IT THOUGH THE RECALL IS FOR THE 2.0 LITER ENGINE, MINE IS A 2.4 2011. (MY CAR IS THE 2012 BODY STYLE MADE IN 2011) THEY WILL SELL ME ANOTHER ENGINE. WE BROUGHT THE CAR HOME AND I TWEETED ABOUT IT. KIAMOTORS_AMERICA DM'D ME OFFERING HELP. THEY DENIED MY CLAIM ENTIRELY BECAUSE MY ENGINE ISN'T PART OF THE RECALL, EVEN THOUGH MY ISSUE IS THE SAME. I FOUND THOUSANDS OF PPL JUST LIKE ME BEING TOLD THE SAME THING. I'M ON SS DISABILITY PAYING $267/MO + FULL COV INS SINCE NOV. I HAVE 2 SPECIALISTS 100 MILES IN OPP DIRECTIONS THAT I HAVE NO CAR TO GO TO. I WATCH MY 3YR OLD GRANDSON AND WAS GOING TO THE STORE FOR MY MOM WHO HAS STAGE 4 LUNG CANCER. LINDBERGH BLVD, ST. LOUIS, MO) WHO INDICATED THAT THE ENGINE SEIZED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 66,000.

HAVE HAD A LOT OF SUSPENSION ISSUES RELATED TO ALIGNMENT, TYE RODS, BEARINGS - LOTS OF LOUD NOISES WITH EVERY BUMP. I HAVE GOTTEN SOME ISSUES FIXED ONLY TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUES WITHIN ABOUT TWO MONTHS.
VEHICLES INTERIOR LIGHTS, INTERIOR DASH LIGHTS, HEADLIGHTS AND OTHER PANEL LIGHTS CLICK AND FLICKER OFF AND ON DURING VARIOUS PERIODS OF TIME. THE HEADLIGHTS STAY OFF FOR A FEW SECONDS AND REPETITIVELY AT RANDOM TIMES. THIS HAS OCCURRED BOTH EARLY IN THE MORNING, IN THE EVENINGS, IT ALSO HAPPENS JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY TO THE DASH LIGHTS AND WITH THE CLICKING. THIS HAS OCCURRED IN WINTER AS WELL AS SUMMER. ORIGINALLY IT ONLY OCCURRED WHEN IT WAS RAINING, NOW IT OCCURS DAILY. THIS HAS OCCURRED WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN PARK AND WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAYS, ON BACK ROADS, ALSO AT STOP LIGHTS OR A STOP SIGN. THE CLICKING HAS ALSO OCCURRED WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN OFF, IT WILL START MAKING CLICKING NOISES COMING FROM THE DASH AREA, THE SAME NOISE AS IT MAKES WHEN THE HEADLIGHTS AND INTERIOR AND DASH LIGHTS FLICKER WHEN IT IS ON. ALSO AFTER HAVING A RECALL REPAIRED I AM STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE START STOP NOT STARTING, AS WELL AS THE DOORS NOT UNLOCKING WITH THE KIA REMOTE OR BY PUSHING THE BUTTON ON THE EXTERIOR HANDLE. THE VEHICLE HAS ALSO LOST STEERING CONTROL DURING EXCESSIVE RAIN. THIS OCCURRED ON A SIDE STREET WHILE I WAS ATTEMPTING TO TURN OFF OF A MAIN ROAD ONTO A SIDE ROAD THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT TURN. IT PROCEEDED TO GO AT A DIAGONAL, ONLY PARTIALLY TURNING INTO A FRONT LAWN DURING THE TURN. IT WAS RAINING WHEN THIS OCCURRED. I KNOW THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER ISSUES WITH THE PHANTOM HEADLIGHTS IN OTHER KIA MODELS. AND THEY ARE NOT FIXING THE ISSUE, THEY ARE SAYING IT IS NOT OCCURRING. ALSO THEY ARE SAYING THEY NEED TO REPLACE A PART THAT COST $400 BUT IT MAY NOT FIX THE ISSUE. I HAVE LEFT THE MANAGER A MESSAGE AT THE KIA IN MYRTLE BEACH AND HAVE ASKED FOR A GOOD FAITH REPAIR AND I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK.
HEADLIGHTS COME ON AND OFF RANDOMLY. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD THAT CAN CAUSE DEATHS OR INJURIES. I'M VERY AFRAID AND EXTREMELY NERVOUS WHEN THIS HAPPENS ESPECIALLY WHEN I HAVE MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR. I'VE HAD TO REPLACE THE LIGHTS ABOUT EVERY OTHER MONTH WHICH IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE
HEADLIGHT LOW BEAM LIGHT NOT WORKING. REPLACED BULB AND WITHIN A FEW WEEKS, IT WOULD WORK INTERMITTENTLY. I COULD WIGGLE THE CONNECTION AND LIGHT WOULD COME BACK ON. THEN THAT NO LONGER WORKED. I TOOK THE BULB OUT OF THE CONNECTION TO REPLACE AND NOTICED THE CONNECTION WAS MELTED WHERE THE BULB CONNECTS TO THE WIRE HARNESS. I REMOVED BULB UNTIL CONNECTION CAN BE REPLACED.
VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN THE GARAGE AND STATIONARY. WHEN TRYING TO START THE VEHICLE USING THE KEY-LESS IGNITION, DASH AND INTERIOR LIGHTS STARTED TO FLICKER IN THE VEHICLE AND RELAYS START TO CLICK. LOCKS WOULD NOT OPERATE NOR COULD I SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL, STARTED TO SMELT BURNING, PUSHED IGNITION BUTTON TO SHUT DOWN. WOULD NOT SHUT OFF, ELECTRICAL KEPT CYCLING LIKE IT WAS TRYING TO START ON ITS OWN, HAD TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY TO SHUT DOWN THE CAR. STARTER SOLENOID NEVER ENGAGED AT ANY TIME NOR DID THE ENGINE TRY TO TURN OVER.
THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR ON MY 2011 KIA SORENTO LX WILL NOT OPEN. IF THE KEY FOB IS PRESSED AND ALL THE OTHER DOORS OPEN, THAT DOOR WILL NOT OPEN. I CHECKED THE CHILD PROOF LOCK TO SEE IF IT WAS ENGAGED OH, IT WAS NOT. A MERE COUPLE OF DAYS, PERHAPS A WEEK PRIOR TO FINDING THIS PROBLEM OH, I HAD THE RECALL FIXED ON PASSENGER SIDE FRONT DOOR DUE TO THE SAME PROBLEM. HOWEVER, I WAS INFORMED BY BOTH THE LOU FUSZ KIA SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN ST LOUIS AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS KIA THAT THERE WERE NOT ANY RECALLS WITH REAR DOOR LOCKS.
AS I WAS DRIVING HOME AT 35 MPH ACROSS A BUSY BRIDGE IN THE CITY WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A BOMB WENT OFF AND THEN SHARDS OF GLASS POURING INTO THE CAR AND ALL OVER ME. MY SUN ROOF HAD EXPLODED AND FOR NO APPARENT REASON. NO KNOWN CRACKS OR CHIPS WERE EVER PREVIOUSLY NOTICED.
CAR RAN FINE. DROVE TO STORE. GOT OUT OF STORE. CAR WOULDN'T START. HAD SO.EONE CHECK BATTERY .BATTERY WAS GOOD.12.5 . HAD THEM CHECK THAT WIRES WHERE TIGHT ON BATTERY AND THEY WHERE. STILL NO POWER TO CAR. LEFT CAR AT STORE . CAME BACK NEXT DAY AND CAR STARTED UP LIKE NOTHING WRONG. THIS HAS HAPPEN TWICE SINCE
ENGINE GOT A LOUD NOISE AND THEN CAR SHUT DOWN. THE ENGINE HAS A LARGE HOLE. I WILL HAVE TO GET A NEW ONE. THIS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING ON 4 LANE STREET. HAD HAVE VEHICLE TOWED.
THE DRIVER DOOR DOESN'T OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE ANYMORE I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE BACK AND I HAVE SMALL CHILDREN

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO OPERATE INDEPENDENTLY. ALSO, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED TO VISIT A KIA DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MATTHEWS AUTO GROUP (3721 VESTAL RD D, VESTAL, NY 13850, (607) 584-5354) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 213,000. *BF
THE LOW BEAM LIGHTING "H11" PIGTAIL IS A MELTED CONNECTOR AND THE LOW BEAM LIGHTING IS GOING OUT CONSTANTLY. WE HAVE REPLACED THE LIGHTS AND THE PIGTAIL TWICE THIS YEAR.
DRIVER SIDE REAR PASSENGER DOOR DOES NOT OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE. WHEN CHILD LOCK IS ENGAGED, THE DOOR CANNOT BE OPENED. DEALER INDICATED POSSIBLE ACTUATOR FAILURE. VEHICLE HAS 106,000 MILES AND IS OUT OF WARRANTY.
DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE. I MUST EITHER ENTER THE VEHICLE FROM ANOTHER DOOR & CRAWL INTO THE DRIVERS SEAT, REACH IN THROUGH THE WINDOW IF IT'S DOWN (WINTER IS APPROACHING...IT WONT BE DOWN) OR REACH IN FROM THE DRIVERS SIDE PASSENGER DOOR & OPEN THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED (OBVIOUSLY). DOOR WAS NOT PREVIOUSLY SLAMMED SHUT PRIOR TO THIS OCCURRING.
THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS FOR VOLUME AND BLUETOOTH DO NOT WORK.
REAR PASSAGER DOOR WILL NOT OPEN
I WENT TO THE STORE AND TRIED TO OPEN THE BACK PASSENGER DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE AND IT WOULD NOT OPEN. I THOUGHT THAT THE CHILD SAFETY LOCKS WERE ON SO I WENT INSIDE FROM THE OPPOSITE SIDE AND OPENED THE DOOR. WHAT IF THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT GOD FORBID OR A FIRE AND I HAD MY CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILD IN MY VEHICLE AND COULD NOT GET THEM OUT! KIA NEEDS TO RECALL THIS IMMEDIATELY. VEHICLE HAS CONSISTENTLY NEEDED HEADLIGHTS REPLACED EVERY 3 MONTHS. VEHICLE LIGHTS WILL COME ON AND OR OFF WHILE DRIVING IN THE DARK. THIS IS A DEADLY SAFETY HAZARD AND SHOULD BE REMEDIED.

TODAY AS I CHANGED LANES COMING TO A RED LIGHT MY CAR JUST SHUT OFF WITH NO INDICATION. I WENT TO PRESS THE GAS TO GO AND LOOKED DOWN WHEN I WOULDN'T MOVE AND THE BATTERY AND OIL LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. I HAD TO PUT IT IN PARK AND TRIED CRANKING IT SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE IT CRANKED BACKED UP. JUST HAD A CLOCKSPRING FOR AIRBAG REPLACED JUST DAYS AGO AND NOW THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS BACK ON. THIS IS SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS AND I AM NOW SCARED OF MY CAR AS IT COULD STALL OUT ANYWHERE AND CAUSE A WRECK. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE!!!

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PASSENGER'S SIDE SEAT SENSOR AND READ DRIVER'S SIDE IMPACT SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 146,000.

KIA WAS PURCHASED LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IT WAS TAKEN TO A DEALERSHIP TO GET CHECKED. CAR ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND LOSES POWER AND KEEPS GOING INTO LIMP MODE. IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND MUST BE DEALT WITH. TODAY WHILE IN THE PASSING LANE CAR LOST ALL POWER AND WOULD NOT MOVE. I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 45MPH AND IT WOULDN'T GO . A TRACTOR TRAILER WAS SPEEDING BEHIND ME AND NEARLY REAR ENDED ME AS I WAS IN THE PASSING LANE AND COULDN'T MAKE IT GO AGAIN TO PULL OVER. WHEN I EVENTUALLY GOT IT TO PULL OVER IT WAS IDLING HIGH AND DID NOT SOUND RIGHT. MECHANIC CAME AND PLACED VEHICLE ON COMPUTER AND AGAIN THREE CODES CAME UP INCLUDING ENGINE POWER FAILURE AND LIMP MODE. I COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED DUE TO KIAS LACK TO REPAIR THIS DEFECT AND THIS COULD BE A LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN. I WANT TO BE REIMBURSED FOR REPAIRS OR AN ALLOWANCE TOWARD A NEW VEHICLE PURCHASE.

THE CONTACT CALLED MIKE KELLY KIA (LOCATED AT 254 PITTSBURGH RD, SUITE A, BUTLER, PA 16002, 724-431-2145 ) AND WAS INFORMED THAT BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED PER THE RECALL, THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE ANOTHER REPAIR FREE OF CHARGE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
ON FRIDAY EVENING 30 AUGUST WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED ON I-66 IN NORTHERN VA THE HOOD INEXPLICABLY OPENED UP ON OUR 2011 KIA SORENTO. THE SECONDARY HOOD LATCH HAD APPARENTLY FAILED AND THE HOOD VIOLENTLY SMASHED AGAINST THE WINDSHIELD AND ROOF. BY SOME MIRACLE, THE WINDSHIELD DID NOT SHATTER AND I WAS ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER ON A NOTORIOUSLY CONGESTED AND ACCIDENT-PRONE HIGHWAY WITHOUT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT, THUS PREVENTING INJURY OR DEATH TO MYSELF AND OTHERS. WHEN KIA CONSUMER ASSISTANCE (CA) OPENED ON 3 SEPTEMBER (AFTER LABOR DAY) I FILED A CASE (#13336462). I HAD CONFIRMED ONLINE THAT THERE WERE NO OPEN RECALLS ON OUR SORENTO BUT NOTED THERE WAS A RECALL (SC134) ON THE 2006-2014 KIA SEDONA HOOD LATCH BECAUSE OF THE DANGER OF THE HOOD OPENING WHILE DRIVING THAT COULD RESULT IN A CRASH. I DROVE THE SORENTO TO OURISMAN KIA IN CHANTILLY, VA WHERE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT CONFIRMED THE HOOD LATCH HAD FAILED AND REPORTED THIS TO KIA CA. DESPITE OWNING 3 KIA VEHICLES AND CALLING TO SPEAK WITH 3 DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS AT KIA CA (LISA, ANNETTE, JEREMY) AS NOBODY WOULD RETURN OUR CALLS TO PROVIDE UPDATES OVER 3 DAYS, NONE OF THESE FACTS ABOUT THE POTENTIAL LETHAL VULNERABILITY MATTERED TO KIA WHO REFUSED TO COVER THE COST OF REPAIRS BECAUSE OUR 2011 SORENTO IS OUTSIDE OF THE 100,000 MILE WARRANTY BY 18,000 MILES. KIA CA DID NOT CARE THAT THE SAME FAULTY PART WAS ALREADY RECALLED ON A DIFFERENT KIA VEHICLE. KIA CA APPEARED UNCONCERNED WITH THE VERY REAL POSSIBILITY THAT THEIR FAULTY PRODUCT CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND EVEN DEATH. THANK GOD MY WIFE OR CHILDREN WERE NOT DRIVING THE SORENTO AT THE TIME OF THE HOOD LATCH FAILURE. I IMPLORE THE NHTSA WORK TO HOLD KIA ACCOUNTABLE TO RECTIFY THIS VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND EXTEND THE HOOD LATCH RECALL TO THE 2011 KIA SORENTO BEFORE THERE ARE INNOCENT VICTIMS. PLEASE DON'T LET KIA MEAN 'KILLED IN ACCIDENT.'
