SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS DEPLOYED SPONTANEOUSLY SENDING FRAGMENTS OF METAL AND PIECES OF PLASTIC INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR. THE CAR WAS DRIVING AT 16 MPH ON A NEIGHBORHOOD STREET.

TAKATA RECALL. THIS RECALL HAS BEEN FOR ALMOST 1 YEAR, AND LAND ROVER HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I BASICALLY CANNOT DRIVE WITH ANY PASSENGERS IN THE FRONT SEAT.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. LAND ROVER OF DALLAS, TEXAS WAS MADE AWARE OF THE RECALL AND STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE ON BACKORDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND STATED THAT THE CONTACT WOULD RECEIVE ANOTHER LETTER ONCE THE PARTS BECAME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.

CHICCO KEYFIT 30 BASE KEEPS COMING LOOSE. I'VE HAD THE INSTALLER COME OUT AT LEAST THREE TIMES TO INSTALL AND RETIGHTEN THE BASE. FINALLY WE RESORTED TO USING LOCKING CLIPS INSTEAD OF THE LOCKING MECHANISM ON THE BASE, WHICH HAS SPRUNG. I HAVE PICTURES IF NEEDED. *TR
