RECALL NUMBER 00V359001 IS RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE DEALER IS CURRENTLY REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 100,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO APPLIED PINS ON THE SUSPENSION AND REPLACED THE TIRES BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS A CRACK ON THE WHEELS THAT CAUSED THE BOLT JOINTS TO FAIL. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED AND THE AC AND HEAT WAS INOPERABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,000.

I HAVE HAD MY AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM REPLACED AT LEAST 6 TIMES FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THE REAR DROPS DOWN AND DAMAGES MY TIRES. AFTER REPLACING THE SYSTEM SEVERAL TIMES. I HAD A CONVERSION KIT REPLACED.
MY 2000 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR'S AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM GAVE OUT WITHOUT WARNING AND WITHOUT THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM LIGHT EVER COMING ON. THE SYSTEM FAILED AFTER THE CAR WAS SITTING WITH THE AC ON FOR ABOUT 25 MINUTES. THERE WAS NO OTHER ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE CAR BEFORE THE FAILURE. *JB
