THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN FOR AN AIR BAG REPLACEMENT AT DICK DYER MERCEDES-BENZ SERVICE CENTER (5825 TWO NOTCH RD, COLUMBIA, SC 29223) AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE CRANKED EXCESSIVELY WHILE STARTING. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIMING MECHANISM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER AND CAMSHAFT ADJUSTERS, NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,000.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CODE P0002. ACCELERATING IN ANY FORM FROM THE STREET OR ESPECIALLY THE HIGHWAY MERGING ON, THERE IS A SUPERIOR LOSS OF POWER/ACCELERATION. VERY DANGEROUS AS YOU ARE A HAZARD COMING INTO THE HIGHWAY AND DO NOT HAVE ADEQUATE ACCELERATION WHEN ON RAMPS ARE A VERY SHORT DISTANCE. I BELIEVE IT'S THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP AS COUNTLESS OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH THEIR VEHICLE.

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V043000 (AIR BAGS) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. VEHICLE WAS STOLEN IN FLORIDA I PURCHASED IT AFTER BEING FIXED AND THEY STATED THAT THERE WHERE ELECTRICAL ISSUES AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE AND LIGHTS PERTAINING TO AIRBAGS WOULD FLASH. AFRAID BAGS WOULD GO OFF WHILE DRIVING AND CAUSE ACCIDENT.
LAMP CARRIER, PLUG AND CONTACT BUSHI ARE BURNT BECAUSE THE GROUND WIRE IS TOO THIN. THE PREVIOUS MODELS OF THIS CAR HAD A RECALL WHERE THEY FIXED THE ISSUE BUT IT STILL PERTAINS TO THE 2013 MODEL AND IS NOT UNDER RECALL. PART # 204-820-22-77 # 211-545-03-28 # 013-545-76-26 THESE WERE THE PART NUMBERS THAT ARE RECOMMENDED TO BE REPLACED BY THE DEALER. THIS IS A SERIOUS FIRE SAFETY ISSUE. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR RECORDS THAT LATEST W204 MERCEDES MODEL STILL HAS THIS PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO BE RECALLED.
MY MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT MY 2013 MERCEDES C250 HAS A TIMING CHAIN/CAMSHAFT ADJUSTER SPROCKET PROBLEM AND THAT IT HAPPENS A LOT ON THESE CARS. I FOUND HUNDREDS OF OTHER PEOPLE ONLINE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. IT STARTS USUALLY AS SOON AS THE WARRANTY ENDS. THE COST TO FIX IT AT THE DEALERSHIP IS $5600. IT IS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS AS YOUR ENGINE WILL EVENTUALLY GET DAMAGED WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING AND CAUSE A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MERCEDES- BENZ OF ATLANTA SOUTH LOCATED AT (3775 ROYAL SOUTH PKWY, ATLANTA GA) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
MERCEDES BENZ. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG SAFETY RECALL. *LD CONSUMER RECEIVED A NHTSA RECALL: 18V043 IN FEB. 2018. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO MERCEDES BENZ OF ATLANTIC CITY (ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS TO GET THE VEHICLE REPAIRED BUT WAS TOLD THAT PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. *DL
MY ELECTRONIC STEERING LOCK FAILED. LUCKILY, I WAS PARKED BUT NOW THE CAR WILL NOT START, OR UNLOCK THE STEERING WHEEL. IF THIS FAILED WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT WOULD BE A DANGER. I KNOW THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM, THAT MERCEDES HAS SINCE FIXED IN ITS LATER MODELS, BUT CONTINUES TO CHARGE $2000 FOR A FIX THAT IS ONLY POSSIBLE AT THE DEALERSHIP. THIS IS A BAD DESIGN ISSUE WITH THIS CAR.
TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL NOT REPAIRED BY MANUFACTURER OR DEALER
THERE ARE 3 RECALLS REGARDING MY VEHICLE PER MERCEDES BENZ AND THEIR DATABASE ON THEIR WEBSITE. I TOOK MY VEHICLE FOR STEERING COLUMN TO GET REPAIRED AND THE DEALER DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. THEY ARE REFUSING TO FIX THE RECALLS AND TOLD ME THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT UNDER THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. THE DASHBOARD IS COMPLETELY DISABLED WITH A WARNING MESSAGES AND AIRBAG LIGHT ON. IT DISABLED MY HONK, VOLUME BUTTONS, I CANNOT SEE TIRE PRESSURE ON MY DASHBOARD OR HOW MUCH MILES THERE IS LEFT FOR GAS AND OTHER FEATURES. SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME HE IS UNABLE TO FIX THE RECALL AND FOR ME TO CONTACT MERCEDES BENZ CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY LET ME LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP WITH MY NEW BORN BABY AND TWO TODDLERS. I BEGGED THEM TO FIX IT AND CRIED SO MUCH SINCE I WAS SCARED TO DEATH TO DRIVE AWAY WITH THE PROBLEM LIKE THAT AND THEY STILL REFUSED TO DO SO. AFTER I CONTACTED MB CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY LOOKED INTO IT AND ALSO STATED THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT GOING TO BE FIXED FOR THE RECALL DUE TO NON MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.
I FIND IT UNACCEPTABLE THAT THERE IS NO OPTION FOR AIRBAG REPLACEMENT OVER TWO YEARS INTO THE RECALL
RECALL ON MY CAR IS STILL WAITING TO BE FIXED. I BOUGHT THIS CAR BRAND NEW IN APRIL 2013. MILEAGE TO DATE IS ONLY 22, 271 MILES. I AM NOW BACK IN CANADA BUT COULD NOT BRING MY CAR TO CANADA BECAUSE THERE IS AN OUTSTANDING RECALL. IN MAY 2018, THE RECALL ON STEERING WAS FIXED. BECAUSE I DO NOT LIVE IN CALIFORNIA ANYMORE, IT IS IN A GARAGE WASTING AWAY. I ONLY USSE THE CAR IN MY YEARLY VISITS TO CHECK ON IT. LAST 2018, I USED THE CAR FOR LESS THAN 1,000 MILES. IN 2019, I HAVE NOT USED THE CAR. LAST FEB 2020, I REQUESTED A FRIEND TO HAVE MY CAR CHECKED AT AN MB DEALERSHIP (FLETCHER JONES IN FREMONT, CA). THEY REPLACED THE WHOLE STEERING MECHANISM BECAUSE IT WAS LEAKING OIL PROFUSELY. I COMPLAINED THAT SINCE THE RECALL ON THE STEERING WAS ONLY FIXED IN MAY 2018 AND USED THE CAR LESS THAN 1,000 MILES, HOW CAN THE STEERING MECHANISM DAMAGED AS SUCH. ALSO, ALTHOUGH THE CAR IS ALMOST 7 YEARS OLD, THE TOTAL MILEAGE ON THE CAR IS ONLY 22. 291 MILES. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THERE IS A MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT IN THIS PART? ON ACCOUNT OF THE FRON PASSENGER AIRBAG RECALL NOT YET BEING FIXED, I LEFT MY CAR IN CALIFORNIA. IT WAS SCHEDULED TO BE FIXED IN 2019 BUT WAS MOVED TO APRIL 2020. I HAVE WASTED SO MUCH MONEY IN THIS CAR BUT AM NOT ENJOYING OR BENEFITING FROM IT. I PRAY THAT THE AIRBAG RECALL IN THIS CAR BE FINALLY FIXED THIS COMING APRIL AS I HAVE DECIDED TO DRIVE IT FROM FREMONT, CA TO TORONTO, CANADA THIS COMING FIRST WEEK OF MAY WITH A CO-DRIVER. I AM FEED UP SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON A CAR I AM NOT USING AND DO NOT BENEFIT FROM. WHENEVER I ACCELERATE ENGINE LIGHT COMES UP AND IT TURNS INTO LIMP MODE.THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE, ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME VEHICLE AS ME ARE HAVING SAME ISSUES. THIS HAS HAPPENED MORE THAN 3 TIMES, THIS IS A ERROR IN HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP.

NONE OF THE FRONTAL AIR BAGS DEPLOYED VEHICLE DESTROYED THE CONTACT STATED THAT HIS WIFE THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE FELL ASLEEP WHILE DRIVING DUE TO THE MEDICATION SHE WAS TAKEN. PER THE POLICE REPORT SHE WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25-30 MPH WHEN SHE COLLIDED HEAD-ON INTO A PARKED VEHICLE. NONE OF THE FRONTAL AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE POLICE WAS PRESENT AND A REPORT WAS ISSUED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION FOR HEAD AND SHOULDER INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO MERCEDES BENZ OF ARROWHEAD (9260 W BELL RD, PEORIA, AZ 85382), THEN TO THE BODY SHOP WHERE IT WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE CAUSE OF THE AIR BAG FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED BY PHONE AND ADVISED THAT SOMETIMES THE AIR BAGS DO NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT HE HAD RECEIVED NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V043000 (AIR BAGS). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,000.
I HAVE A NHTSA RECALL (18V043) - MANUF. RECALL # 2018030004 ON MY 2013 MERCEDES C250. MY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE RECALL WAS ANNOUNCED OVER TWO YEARS AGO (ON JAN. 10, 2018), AND MY CAR STILL SAYS "RECALL INCOMPLETE, REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE." MY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE MANUFACTURER (MERCEDES-BENZ) HAS NOT OFFERED A TIMELY REMEDY. MY CONCERN IS, FIRST, SAFETY, BUT AS IMPORTANT -- I AM NOT ABLE TO SELL THIS CAR WITH AN OPEN RECALL. BUYERS ALL HAVE ONLY OFFERED A "DIMINISHED VALUE" OFFER BECAUSE OF THE OPEN RECALL WITH "REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE." THESE DEALERS SHOULD BE LEGALLY REQUIRED TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES IN A TIMELY MANNER. I'VE CALLED TWO DEALERSHIPS IN THE HOUSTON AREA (GREENWAY AND CLEAR LAKE), AND THEY WON'T EVEN GIVE ME A TIMEFRAME FOR THE REPAIRS. IN THE MEANTIME, I CAN'T SELL THIS CAR UNTIL IT HAPPENS. I AM VERY FRUSTRATED BY MERCEDES-BENZ'S POOR RESPONSE TIME IN DEALING WITH THIS (BOTH IN NOTIFYING ME OF THE ORIGINAL RECALL, AND IN MAKING A PLAN FOR DOING THE REPAIRS IN A TIMELY MANNER.)

HELLO, MY C250, 2013 MERCEDES BENZ IS THE SUBJECT OF MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER: 2018030004, AND NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: 18V043. THIS IS IN REGARDS TO THE TAKATA AIR BAG DEFECT. MY MERCEDES BENZ DEALERSHIP SENT ME OVER TEN (10) RECALL NOTICES IN THE MAIL AND VIA EMAILS. EVERY TIME I CALLED THE DEALERSHIPS TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE THE AIRBAG, THEY WOULD TELL ME THAT THEY DON'T HAVE THE PARTS, AND THAT I SHOULD CALL BACK IN FEW WEEKS. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS NOW, AND DESPITE SEVERAL RECALL NOTICES BEING RECEIVED. MERCEDES BENZ DEALERSHIP HAS FAILED TO FIX THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAG DESPITE THE FACT THAT IF THE AIRBAG DEPLOYS, A PASSENGER-SIDE AIRBAG INFLATOR EXPLOSION DURING DEPLOYMENT COULD RESULT IN METAL FRAGMENTS STRIKING THE FRONT PASSENGER OR OTHER OCCUPANTS, POSSIBLY CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. AT 46,000 MILES MY MERCEDES BENZ C250 BEGAN HESITATING TO START AND THEN AFTER STARTING MADE A SLIGHT GRINDING NOISE FOR 3 TO 4 SECONDS. AFTER THE CAR HAD HESITATED TO START FOR SEVERAL DAYS THE ENGINE LIGHT THEN CAME ON. WHEN TAKEN IN FOR REPAIR I WAS TOLD THE CAM SENSOR AS WELL AS THE CAM GEARS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I HAVE DONE ALL SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE ON THIS VEHICLE AND AM A VERY CONSERVATIVE DRIVER, AS THIS CAR HAS VERY LOW MILES FOR BEING A 2013 MODEL. AFTER A BRIEF ONLINE SEARCH I FOUND COUNTLESS COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER CONSUMERS THAT HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM WITH THEIR MERCEDES BENZ C250. IF THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY THE DEALERSHIPS ARE UNWILLING TO PERFORM THIS WORK AT ANY KIND OF DISCOUNT BECAUSE A FORMAL RECALL HAS NEVER BEEN MADE FOR THIS ENGINE MODEL. THIS REPAIR RANGES IN PRICE FROM $4,000 TO $5,000. THIS SEEMS LIKE AN ISSUE THAT URGENTLY NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO AS MANY CONSUMERS ARE BEING LEFT TO PAY THIS EXCESSIVE BILL FOR AN ISSUE THAT I BELIEVE MERCEDES BENZ KNOWS IS A SYSTEMIC PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE IN THE C250 MODEL.
MY CAR WAS PARKED AT THE MALL, WHEN I WENT TO THE CAR TO START IT THE ENGINE WOULD NOT TURN ON. HAD TO GET THE CAR TOWED TO A MECHANIC. I HAD TO REPLACE THE STEERING WHEEL IMMOBILIZER. *TR
THIS RECALL HAS BEEN OPEN 11 MONTHS WITH NO REMEDY YET AVAILABLE. I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE WITH PASSENGERS IN THE FRONT SEAT DUE TO THE FAULTY AIR BAG THAT EXISTS IN MY CAR. PLEASE MAKE THE MANUFACTURER REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE AIR BAG SO THAT MY CAR IS SAFE ONCE AGAIN.

THREE UNKNOWN DEALERS WERE CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE DAY IN WHICH MY CAR STOPPED WORKING, PRIOR MY VEHICLE WAS OPERATING PROPERLY NO ISSUES PRESENTED. THE IGNITION STARTED WITHOUT ANY INTERRUPTIONS OR ISSUES. I DROVE MY CAR TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS THE DAY I ENCOUNTERED MY ISSUES. I WENT OUT TO MY CAR WHICH WAS STATIONARY, PARKED AT MY RESIDENCE AND PRESSED THE PUSH START BUTTON AND IT WOULD NOT POWER ON. AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS, I CALLED AAA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO CHECK IF IT COULD POSSIBLY BE MY BATTERY, BUT TO OUR SURPRISE THE BATTERY WAS PERFECTLY FINE. I HAD MY VEHICLE TOWED TO MY MECHANIC WHO THEN INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS MY ELECTRONIC IGNITION SWITCH THAT WAS BROKEN, AND HE STATED HE WAS NOT EXPERIENCED IN REPLACEMENT AND THAT HE'D REFER ME TO A MERCEDES AUTHORIZED MECHANIC WHO WOULD BE ABLE TO HELP ME. AFTER HAVING MY VEHICLE TOWED TO THE NEXT MECHANIC THEY THEN DID A THOROUGH DIAGNOSIS ON MY VEHICLE IN WHICH THEY INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS MY ELECTRONIC IGNITION SWITCH AND THAT THEY HAD BEEN GETTING MANY MERCEDES C 250 MAKES IN THAT HAD THE SAME ISSUE, AND THEN STATED THEY DON'T KNOW WHY THERE WASN'T A RECALL ON THAT PART BECAUSE IT'S A MAJOR ISSUE WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO FIX. I AM ASKING THAT MERCEDES BE RESPONDING FOR THIS DEFECTIVE PART THAT HAS BEEN PUT IN THEIR CARS, AND COSTS AN ARM AND LEG TO FIX WHICH IS VERY UNFAIR. I KEEP UP WITH THE MAINTENANCE OF MY VEHICLE SO THIS SHOULD NOT HAD HAPPENED.

LOUD RATTLE AT COLD START UP THAT LAST FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS. DIAGNOSED BY SEVERAL MECHANICS AS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH CAM SHAFT VVT. CAM SHAFT ADJUSTER
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, IT TAKES FOUR CLICKS TO TURN OVER. AFTER TURNOVER, IT IDLES ROUGH, AND MAKES A RATTLE NOISE AROUND 1500 RPM. MERCEDES RAN A DIAGNOSTIC AND SAID IT WAS A P034062 CODE AND RECOMMENDED REPLACING CAMSHAFT ADJUSTERS AND CAMSHAFT ADJUSTER MAGNET AND SEALS. THE COST WAS $4500. THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM IN THESE MERCEDES AND I BELIEVE THEIR SHOULD BE A RECALL AS THIS COULD CAUSE ENGINE DAMAGE WHILE DRIVING OR POSE A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY ISSUE.
MY AIRBAG ON THE DRIVER SIDE WAS LOOSED AND THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AIRBAG IS POPPED OUT ON THE STEERING WHEEL JULY 2, 2019. I WAS STATIONARY WHEN I NOTICED THIS, SO I RETURNED THE CAR TO THE MERCEDES DEALERSHIP IN SUGARLAND, TX TO BE FIXED ON JULY 2,2019. THE SERVICE ADVISOR INFORMED ME THAT MERCEDES WOULD SPECIAL ORDER THE PART AND FIX IT. ON JULY 3, 2019 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE DEALERSHIP STATING THE TECHNICIAN HAD INSPECTED IT AND CHECKED THE SPRINGS. THAT THEY TIGHTEN IT BACK UP AND IT LOOK OK AND I NEED TO WAIT UNTIL I RECEIVE MY SECOND LETTER FROM MERCEDES BEFORE THEY CAN REPLACED THE AIRBAG THAT I NEED TO COME IN AND PICK UP THE CAR THAT IT WAS READY. THE AIRBAG WAS NOT REPLACED. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE A SECOND LETTER TO REPLACE THE TAKATA RECALL AIRBAG?

TAKATA RECALL IN A LETTER DATED FEBRUARY 2018 I WAS NOTIFIED BY MERCEDES BENZ THAT MY C250 SEDAN HAD A DEFECTIVE AIRBAG THAT WOULD NEED REPLACEMENT. THE LETTER WENT ON TO SAY THAT PARTS WERE NOT YET AVAILABLE BUT I WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN THEY BECAME AVAILABLE IN 2018. SOME TIME LATER, THE MBUSA (MBUSA.COM) WEBSITE PUBLISHED A REPAIR SCHEDULE INDICATING THAT PARTS FOR MY CAR WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE IN 2018 BUT WOULD BE IN EARLY 2019. NOW THE MBUSA WEBSITE SAYS THAT THE EXPECTED TIME FOR REPAIR PARTS IS APRIL 2020. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE BECAUSE THE CAR WILL BE OVER SEVEN YEARS OLD AT THAT POINT. THAT IS LESS THAN THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT IT TOOK FOR THE FIRST FAULTY AIRBAGS TO BEGIN KILLING AND MAIMING DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS. MY CAR IS IN PRIORITY GROUP 9. THE NHTSA DOCUMENTATION SHOWS THAT MANUFACTURERS SHOULD HAVE ACQUIRED SUFFICIENT PARTS FOR REPAIR OF PG 9 CARS BY JUNE OF 2018, BUT IN A LETTER OWNERS, THE CEO OF MERCEDES SAYS THAT THIS IS OUT OF HIS CONTROL. IT IS MY OPINION THAT MERCEDES BENZ IS OUT OF COMPLIANCE WITH 49 USC 301 AND THAT ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN TO CAUSE THEM TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE REQUIRED REPAIRS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND MY EXIT WAS COMING UP SO I PRESSED ON THE BRAKES AND THE PEDAL WAS STIFF AND I COULD NOT SLOW THE CAR DOWN. ONCE THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN ON ITS OWN DUE TO ME DRIVING ON A INCLINE I TURNED THE CAR OFF. STARTED THE CAR AND TRIED IT AGAIN AND I STILL HAD NOT POWER TO THE BRAKES. I INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND SAW THAT THE BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM PUMP WAS LEAKING OIL. I HAD TO FIND A REPLACEMENT PART AND INSTALL IT.
ON MY 2013 C250 ONLY WITH 55K MILES, A RATTLE NOISE BEGINS ON THE ENGINE(SOUNDS LIKE A DIESEL ENGINE) THE EXHAUST CRANKSHAFT ADJUS, CENTRAL VALVE& CRANKSHAFT TENSIONER DEFAULTS) THERE WHERE 3 CARS ALL 2012 C250, 2013 C250 IN THE MERCEDES-BENZ DEALERSHIP (MERCEDES-BENZ OF CORAL GABLE WITH THE SAME ISSUE) THIS IS A CLEAR AND WELL STATED AND RECORDED CASES IN WHICH MB USA SHOULD ACCEPT THE DEFECT AND RECALL THIS ISSUE, MANY PEOPLE ALSO IN THE RECORD HAVE PAYED $4-5K FOR THIS COMMON ISSUE. FINALLY, NHTSA SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND FORCE MB USA TO OWN THIS WELL TOO COMMON DEFECT. I AM OBLIGATED TO ASK FOR LOANDS TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT IS A CLEAR MANUFACTURE DEFECT
