ON 10/9/2007 I TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO SHEEHY NISSAN TO HAVE IT REPAIRED FOR THE KNOWN RECALLS. ON 10/11/2007 I RETRIEVED MY VEHICLE FOR SHEEHY NISSAN AND WAS TOLD BY ALAN SHURKIN THE ISSUE WITH THE ECM REPROGRAMMING HAD BEEN CORRECTED. ABOUT 20 MINS AFTER LEAVING SHEEHY NISSAN LOT MY CAR AGAIN STALLED AND STOPPED RUNNING. ON 10/14/2007 I CALLED ALAN SHURKIN @ SHEEHY NISSAN AND TOLD HIM THAT MY VEHICLE WAS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS DUE TO THE RECALL I WAS TOLD BY ALAN THAT IT WOULD BE A SERVICE CHARGE TO REPAIR IT AGAIN. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS VEHICLE FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS NOW WITH THE CONSIST STOP AND GO ROUTINE. I WAS ADVISED BY A FRIEND TO CALL NISSAN NORTH AMERICA BACK LETTING THEM KNOW WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS. ON 11/6/2007 I PLACED A CALL TO NISSAN NORTH AMERICA. I EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS WITH THE REP WHO TOOK MY CALL SHE DID A LITTLE RESEARCH AND STATED TO ME THAT IT SEEMED THE ISSUE I WAS STILL HAVING WAS PERTAINING TO THE RECALL FOR THE ECM AND THAT SHE NEED TO FORWARD ME TO A REGIONAL RESEARCH REP. I WAS FORWARDING TO THE REGIONAL RESEARCH REP WHO STATED TO ME THAT THEY HAD TO LOOK IN TO THE PROBLEM FURTHER AND THAT SOMEONE WOULD BE IN CONTACT WITH ME WITHIN 24 HOURS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE ENGINE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. THE CONTACT WAITED FIVE MINUTES TO RESTART THE VEHICLE, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. HE TRIED AGAIN FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER AND THE ENGINE TURNED ON AND EVERYTHING WORKED NORMALLY. TWO WEEKS LATER, HE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE REGARDING THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR AND ECU MODULE. THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED THE ECU MODULE AND REPLACED THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR. THE CONTACT WAS CHARGED FOR THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR REPLACEMENT. THE RECALL NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 35,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,000.
MY VEHICLE STARTED TO HAVE A HARD SHIFT WHILE I WAS RIDING DOWN THE BELTWAY. THE CAR WOULD SHIFT SO HARD THAT IT FELT LIKE SOMEONE HAD HIT MY CAR FROM BEHIND. APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS LATER THE "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK IT TO SHEEHY NISSAN OF WALDORF AND HAD THE CAR REPAIRED. THAT COST ME AROUND $170.00. ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER THE HARD SHIFTS WERE BACK. ONE AND A HALF MONTHS LATER MY "SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT" COMES BACK ON AND THIS TIME MY CAR WILL NOT START. I WAS LITERALLY STUCK UNTIL I WAS INFORMED THAT EVENTUALLY THE COMPUTER WILL CLICK AND LET THE CAR START. I EVENTUALLY GOT THE CAR TO START AND TOOK IT TO THE NISSAN DEALER. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR WAS BAD. I HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $230.00. TO GET MY CAR BACK. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY HAVE RECALLED THIS SAME PROBLEM ON THE 2002 AND THE 2003 NISSAN ALTIMA BUT NOT ON THE 2004. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 65 MPH, WHEN THE BRAKE AND BATTERY WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE ENGINE THEN BEGAN TO PERFORM WITH A REDUCTION IN POWER. THE FAILURE RECURRED FREQUENTLY. THE CONTACT HAD THE BATTERY REPLACED THREE TIMES AS WELL AS THE ALTERNATOR BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER HOWEVER, THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND A CLAIM WAS FILED FOR THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 35,500. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 27,000.
CLUTCH DOESN'T RE-ENGAGE AND DROPS TO FLOOR ON HOT DAYS IF USING THE CLUTCH A LOT. *TR
2004 NISSAN ALTIMA 2.5 HAD SEVERE MISSING ISSUE AND DEALER ADVISED THAT IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE SCREWS OF THE POWER RING ON THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. THE SCREW HAD CAME LOOSE AND DAMAGED THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. NISSAN HAS VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN QR25DE POWER VALVE ( P5202) FOR THIS ISSUE. MY CAR HAS THE EXACT ISSUE AND THE YEAR AND ENGINE SIZE IS THE SAME. THE VIN NUMBER OF MY CAR IS WITHIN THE POSTED VIN'S OF THIS CAMPAIGN - HOWEVER THEY NOW SAY THE "CAMPAIGN" IS VIN SPECIFIC, AND YOU GUESSED IT - MY VIN ISN'T ON THEIR LIST. $700.00 LATER THE DEALER WON'T PAY, NISSAN AMERICA REFUSES TO HONOR THE FIX LISTED IN THEIR OWN CAMPAIGN THIS IS A KNOWN DESIGN FLAW ISSUE, SAME CAR, SAME ENGINE SIZE, WITHIN THE VIN NUMBERS LISTED. NO RELIEF. THEY ALSO REPLACED ALL THE SCREWS WITH "UPGRADED SCREWS" AND LOCK EACH SCREW. THE INTERNET IS FILLED WITH THIS ISSUE AND OTHERS WITH NO ASSISTANCE. PLEASE MAKE THIS A RECALL !*JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHUTS OFF AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT AND WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN SERVICED BECAUSE SHE COULD NOT FIND ANYONE TO MAKE THE REPAIR. SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A CRANK ANGLE SENSOR/ECM REPROGRAMMING. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 63,000. UPDATED 09/06/07. *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED FOUR TIMES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CRANK SENSOR FAILED. THE POWERTRAIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 48,727.
IN THE SUMMER OF 2007 MY CAR WAS STALLING WHEN COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP OR WHEN SLOWING DOWN. I BROUGHT MY CAR INTO NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND THEY ADVISED THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING IS PART OF A RECALL AND REPROGRAMMED THE ECM. THE NIGHT I PICKED MY CAR UP I WAS STILL HAVING THE STALLING ISSUE. I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK INTO THE DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THE COMPLAINT THAT 1) I NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE ECM. 2) MY CAR STALLED IN ONCOMING TRAFFIC LUCKILY NOT INVOLVED IN A CRASH. 3)WHY WAS THIS PROBLEM NOT FOUND WHEN I ORIGINALLY BROUGHT THE CAR IN TO BE FIXED 4) KNOWING THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH BOTH THE CRANKSHAFT AND CAMSHAFT SENSOR IN NISSANS WHY IS THE CAMSHAFT NOT COVERED UNDER A RECALL CAMPAIGN. 5) IT COST ME ALMOST $300 TO REPLACE A PART THAT COST LESS THAN $40. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT TOOK HER VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO REPROGRAM THE ECM SYSTEM. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER THE REPAIR WAS PERFORMED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE RECEIVED SAFETY RECALL # 03V455000 FOR ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE ONLY SAFETY RECALL ON HER VEHICLE WAS FOR THE ECM SYSTEM. THE ENGINE SIZE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 38,700.
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST HAS REPORTED THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR IS BAD. THIS CAUSES THE CAR TO HESITATE, QUIT GOING DOWN THE ROAD & NOT TO START. WE REPLACED THE SENSOR & WITHIN 2 DAYS THE SES LIGHT WAS BACK ON. THE CAR RAN FINE FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS THEN BACK TO THE SAME THING! *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. INTERMITTENTLY, WHEN SHIFTING FROM FIRST TO SECOND GEAR AND VICE VERSA, THERE IS A HARD JERK. IT FEELS AS IF THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE IS GOING TO DROP. THE FAILURE OCCURS ONCE THE VEHICLE HAS WARMED UP, ESPECIALLY IN WARM WEATHER WHEN THE CONTACT BRINGS THE VEHICLE TO A STOP. THE DEALER FIRST SUGGESTED THAT A TRANSMISSION FLUSH WAS NEEDED, BUT LATER STATED THAT A BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION WAS NEEDED BECAUSE THE CURRENT ONE WAS FAILING. THE VIN, PURCHASE DATE, AND ENGINE SIZE WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 82,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
I HAVE A 2004 NISSA ALTIMA AND I HAVE BEEN FEELING BIG JERKS IN THE CAR WHILE DRIVING AND NOW I AM HAVING TROUBLE STARTING MY CAR. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND I HAD IT CHECKED AND WAS TOLD THAT MY CRANK SENSOR IS SHUT DOWN AND WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE MY CAR NOT START AT ALL AND CAN LEAVE ME STRANDED. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THIS IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING TO A CAR THAT IS A 2004 AND THAT THIS IS A MAJOR MALFUNCTION THAT WILL COST A LOT OF MONEY. *JB
2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. CONSUMER STATES VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING*TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THERE IS STILL A MAJOR PROBLEM REGARDING THE RECALL FOR THE CRANK ANGLE SENSOR AND THE REPROGRAMMING OF THE ECM. THE CONSUMER STATED THE CRANK SENSOR HAD TO BE REPLACED FOR THE SECOND TIME AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD ILLUMINATED ON SIX SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE RADIATOR WAS CRACKED AND WAS LEAKING COOLANT. THE PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR WAS LOOSE, THE SUN ROOF HAD A RATTLE AND THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW WOULD GO UP, BUT AT TIMES IT WOULD COME BACK DOWN ON ITS OWN. THE DEALER REPLACED THE REGULATOR MOTOR. ALSO, THE ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED. *JB
2004 NISSAN ALTIMA WITH A RECALL FOR THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. CONSUMER STATES THAT HE DID NOT RECEIVE THE RECALL NOTICE. HIS VEHICLE BEGAN SHAKING VIOLENTLY AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED DUE TO THE DEFECT OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. *KB THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO HIS MECHANIC, WHO DISCOVERED THAT THE FLAP FROM THE INTAKE MANIFOLD HAD WORKED ITS WAY LOOSE AND FALLEN INSIDE THE ENGINE. THE FLAP WAS UNABLE TO BE RE-ATTACHED INDEPENDENTLY AND THE ENTIRE INTAKE MANIFOLD HAD TO BE REPLACED. *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH ON A CLEAR DAY, THE VEHICLE FAILED ON THREE OCCASIONS. AFTER EACH OCCASION, THE VEHICLE RESTARTED MOMENTARILY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CRANK ANGLE SENSORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE ENGINE SIZE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 67,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,856.
I OWN A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA, IN APRIL 07 I EXPERIENCED THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON AND I TOOK IT TO A DEALER AND PAID TO HAVE THE CRANK SENSOR REPLACED. I SUBSEQUENTLY RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER FOR THE SAME PROBLEM AND CONTACTED NISSAN WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS ELIGIBLE FOR A REIMBURSEMENT. AFTER FAXING ALL THE RELEVANT INFORMATION, I WAS TOLD AFTER WAITING 3 MONTHS THAT I WAS DENIED A REIMBURSEMENT BECAUSE THE RECALL TIME HAD LAPSED. I DON'T THINK I WAS TREATED FAIRLY AS NOWHERE IN THE RECALL LETTER IT STATED ANY EXPIRATION DATE. I DO BELIEVE I AM DUE A REIMBURSEMENT. I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR LOOKING INTO THIS MATTER. SHE HAS CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER ABOUT REIMBURSEMENT AND THEY HAVE YET TO RESPOND. THE ENGINE SIZE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 70,000. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE'S CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR WAS REPLACED BECAUSE THE ENGINE SENSOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. AS NOTED IN RECALL # 06V242000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING), A REPAIR WAS PERFORMED TO REPROGRAM THE ENGINE COMPUTER ON MARCH 28, 2007. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO SHUT OFF DUE TO FAILURE BETWEEN THE CRANK AND THE ENGINE COMPUTER. WHEN THE CONTACT HAD IT REPLACED, THE DEALER STATED THAT SHE WAS UNABLE TO GET REIMBURSED FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER TOLD HER TO CONTACT NHTSA DUE TO THE DIFFICULTY OF BEING ABLE TO REIMBURSE THOSE AFFECTED BY THE RECALL. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 60,500 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000. THE CONSUMER HAS PROVIDED A COPY OF THE INVOICE OF SERVICE AND A COPY OF THE RECALL LETTER. UPDATE 05/22/07*TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT ANY SPEED IT WOULD SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WOULD SOMETIMES RESTART IMMEDIATELY AND SOMETIMES SHE WOULD HAVE TO WAIT APPROXIMATELY FIFTEEN MINUTES TO RESTART. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE (RECALL #06V242000). THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED THE ECM SENSOR HOWEVER, THAT DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CRANK AND CAM ANGLE SENSOR SHOULD BE REPLACED. THE REPLACEMENT HAS NOT BEEN MADE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 66,700.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AT NHTSA: I OWN A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA WITH A 2.5L ENGINE. I RECENTLY RECEIVED AN OWNER NOTIFICATION LETTER FROM NISSAN NORTH AMERICA FOR A SAFETY RECALL DUE TO THE POTENTIAL THAT THE ENGINE MIGHT STOP RUNNING WHILE BEING DRIVEN DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM BETWEEN THE CRANK ANGLE SENSOR AND THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE (ECM). THIS COULD RESULT IN A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING. *AK THE NOTICE FURTHER ADVISED THAT MY NISSAN DEALER WOULD REPROGRAM THE ECM, FREE OF CHARGE. THIS SERVICE SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 1 HOUR TO COMPLETE. I MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH MY DEALER TO HAVE THIS SERVICE PERFORMED ON MY ALTIMA. WHILE IN FOR THIS SERVICE, I WAS CALLED BY THE DEALER AND NOTIFIED THAT SEVERAL UNRELATED SERVICE ITEMS WERE FOUND. THEY DID NOT FORCE THEM ON ME BUT DID THEY DID TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO 'SELL' THEM....BETTER GAS MILEAGE (CLEAN THROTTLES) AND BRAKE PERFORMANCE (REPLACE BRAKE FLUID). WELL, THE FREE SERVICE TO 'REPROGRAM' THE ECM, TURNED INTO A SERVICE BILL IN THE $450.00 RANGE. THE LIST COST TO REPROGRAM THE ECM WAS $58.00. SO, I AVOIDED A $58 CHARGE BUT WAS 'SOLD' ADDITIONAL SERVICES SO NISSAN ACTUALLY GENERATED CLOSE TO $400 IN REVENUE ON A 'FREE' RECALL. THE NHTSA RECALL NUMBER IS 06V-242. IT OCCURRED TO ME THAT IF 100,000 OTHER CONCERNED ALTIMA OWNERS RESPONDED TO THE RECALL, WERE 'SOLD' SIMILAR 'NEEDED' SERVICE, NISSAN WOULD COLLECT $40,000,000 IN SERVICE FEES.....A MINOR REPROGRAMMING RECALL COULD TURN INTO A LARGE PROFIT GENERATING MACHINE. I WANTED TO SHARE MY SITUATION WITH YOU BECAUSE THIS SIMPLE SCHEME, IF INDEED EMPLOYED, WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PUBLIC AND MAKE PUBLICLY-OWNED CORPORATIONS LIKE NISSAN A PROFIT WINDFALL. HAD RECALL ON A SIMILAR SOUNDING SITUATION (CAR CAN STALL AT LOW SPEEDS DUE TO A TEMPERATURE SENSOR MALFUNCTION, BUT DEALER CLAIMED THAT THE CAM AND CRANK SENSORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED...CAR STALLED IN THE PARKING LOT AND MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, 2 TIMES EACH. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND UNACCEPTABLE. *JB
TL*- THE CONTACT HAS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA AND STATED THAT SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO GET A RECALL WORK PERFORMED ON THE CRANK SHAFT POSITION AT THE DEALER. ON MARCH 20, 2007 THE VEHICLE STALLED OUT WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY REPLACED THE CRANKSHAFT. THE CONTACT FELT THAT SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR SINCE THE RECALL REPAIR SHOULD FIX THE FAILURE WITH THE CRANKSHAFT. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE BOTH 67,812 MILES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAS A SAFETY RECALL FOR THE CRANK POSITIONING SENSOR. THE CONTACT AT THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, WAS DENIED THE SERVICE BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST. *AK
REAR RIGHT (PASSENGER SIDE) POWER WINDOW WILL NOT OPERATE. THIS SPECIFIC WINDOW HAS BEEN OPENED AND CLOSED LITTLE TO NONE. *JB

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HA 2 SAFETY RECALLS THE CONTACT STATED THAT ONE WEEK AGO WHILE DRING 65 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED ,STOPPED ON THE FREEWAY WITH NO NOTICE, AND AFTERWARDS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SAFETY RECALL REPAIR WAS FREE. HOWEVER, THE DEALER TRIED TO CHARGE HIM FOR DIAGNOSING THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS TOLD TWO WEEKS PRIOR THAT THE ENGINE HAD BEEN REPROGRAMMED. NISSAN DEALER REPLACED REAR 02 SENSOR AND DIAGNOSES AND REPROGRAMMED ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. ON 11/20/06 (LESS THAN THREE WEEKS LATER) THE "ENGINE SERVICE SOON LIGHT" CAME ON AGAIN. PRIOR TO TAKING THE CAR THERE WERE NO RUNNING PROBLEMS. NISSAN DEALER CHECKED VEHICLE AND CALLED ME AND SAID THAT THEY NEED TO RUN ANOTHER DIAGNOSTIC TEST FOR ANOTHER FEE. MY '04 NISSAN ALTIMA 2.5 SE HAS JUST OVER 15,000 MILES. ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS (3 MONTHS APART), THE CAR WOULD NOT START--IT ONLY HAD ENOUGH BATTERY POWER TO MAKE CLICKING SOUNDS. ON EACH OCCURRENCE, NOTHING WAS LEFT ON OR OPEN WHICH COULD CAUSE THE BATTERY TO DEPLETE. ALSO ON EACH OCCURRENCE, THE CAR WAS PERFECTLY FINE THE DAY BEFORE WITH NO PRECEDING SIGNS OF A DYING BATTERY. ON EACH OCCASION, THE CAR WOULD SUCCESSFULLY START BY JUMP STARTING FROM MY OTHER VEHICLE. ON EACH OCCASION, THE CAR WAS IMMEDIATELY TAKEN TO A DEALER (TWO DIFFERENT DEALERS) FOR INSPECTION--EACH TIME NO PROBLEM COULD BE FOUND. THEY HAD TO THE REMOVE THE EXHAUT MANAFOLD TO GET THE SCREW OUT, THE DEALER HAD TO REPLACE THE MANAFOLD INTAKE/GASKET THROTTL/ A SPARK PLUG/BEARING SEAL/THE GASKET EXHAUT/GASKET ADAPTER, AND THE GASKET MANAFOLD. TWO DAYS LATER CONSUMER FOUND THAT THE VEHCILE STILL SHAKING WHEN DRIVING OVER 40 MPH . CONSUMER FOUND THAT WHEN TEST DRIVING VEHICLE IT WOULD NOT GO OVER 80 MPH. PROBLEM STARTED ON JUNE 1, 2005. *AK
