THE HEADLIGHTS ON DIM BASICALLY LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE OFF. WHEN TRAVELING AT NIGHT WHEN DIM IS NEEDED DUE TO ON COMING TRAFFIC YOU CAN NOT SEE WITH THEM ONLY ON DIM. WE HAVE REPLACED THE BULBS BUT THAT DOESNT HELP. SEEMS THAT IT'S SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE MIRRORS THAT REFLECT THE LIGHTS. THIS HAPPENS ANYTIME THE LIGHTS ARE ON BUT OF COURSE BEING A HEADLIGHT ISSUE WE NOTICE IT MORE AT NIGHT WHILE DRIVING ANYWHERE. I CAN ATTACH A PICTURE BUT A VIDEO SHOWS THIS IS BETTER.
I RECENTLY HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR CONTROL ARMS AS THEY SNAPPED WITH NO WARNING AS WE WERE BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE. IRONICALLY ONLY DAYS AFTER MY ANNUAL INSPECTION. I WAS TOLD BY MY MECHANIC WHO HAD TO ORDER THE REPLACEMENT PARTS FROM NISSAN, THAT HIS CONTACT AT NISSAN KNEW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND ADMITTED IT WAS ONLY A "SOFT RECALL" WITH NO PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT, SO THERE IS NO COURSE OF ACTION DUE ON BEHALF OF NISSAN TO FIX THIS. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, ESPECIALLY SINCE I HAD 2 SMALL CHILDREN IN THE CAR WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND WE WERE OUT OF TOWN. THIS UNEXPECTED REPLACEMENT COST ME OVER $900 TO FIX SOMETHING THAT I SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SINCE NISSAN KNEW OF THIS ISSUE. PLEASE HELP TO RECOUP THIS COST!
WHEN COMING TO A RED LIGHT ON A ONE LANE HIGHWAY WITH A LIGHT. LIGHT TURNED RED, WHEN COMING TO A STOP, THE CAR BEGAN SHAKING. I WAS BEHIND ANOTHER CAR AND WAS AFRAID BECAUSE THE CAR WAS SHUTTERING, JERKIN, SHAKING SO MUCH I DID NOT FEEL LIKE I HAD CONTROL OF THE CAR. ONCE I STOPPED, THE CAR ENGINE SHUT OFF. THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN, BUT I WAS UNABLE TO MOVE MY CAR. WHEN I TRIED TO START THE CAR, IT WOULD RUN IN PARK, BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN DRIVE, IT WOULD STALL OUT. I WAS STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION. I COULD MOVE BY CAR BY SLIGHT INCHES EVERY TIME I RESTARTED THE ENGINE AND WOULD STALL OUT. JUST ENOUGH TO MOVE THE MAJOR OF MY CAR OUT OF THE INTERSECTION. EVENTUALLY, THE BATTERY DIED AND I WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL MECHANIC. THIS PROBLEM STARTED THE DAY BEFORE WHEN I WAS GOING TO WORK. I ALSO, TOOK MY VEHICLE TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP I HAD BOUGHT THE VEHICLE FROM MONTHS PRIOR, BECAUSE THE CAR WOULD SHAKE AND SHUT OFF WHEN I CAME TO COMPLETE STOPS AT STREET LIGHT AND STOP SIGNS. AFTER, A DIAGNOSTIC TEST I WAS TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG. AT THAT TIME, I WAS UNDER WARRANTY, I NO LONGER AM.
- REPLACED 3 ALTERNATORS - LESS THAN 60K MILES - NOW THE TRANSMISSION IS FAILED AND NEEDING REPLACED - TOO MANY SIGNIFICANT QUALITY ISSUES FOR A NEW CAR
MY AIRBAG LIGHT THE ONE THAT SAYS MY AIRBAGS ARE NOT ON KEEPS COMING ON. HAVE TAKEN IT TO NISSIAN DEALERSHIP TO GET IT RESET FOR $70 BUT IT CAME BACK ON AGAIN. I AM NOT PAYING $70 AGAIN. THERE HAS TO TO BE A REASON IT KEEPS COMING ON.
VERY DIM LOW BEAMS. YOU ALMOST CAN'T TELL THAT THEY ARE ON AT NIGHT, FORCING YOU TO USE YOUR HIGH BEAMS WHEN IT MAY NOT BE SAFE TO DO SO.
MY FAMILY AND I WORE GOING ON A TRIP AFTER 2 HOURS MY NISSAN ALTIMA TURN OFF BAD AT 67K MILES NISSAN IS NOT WILLING TO HELP BECAUSE IT'S OUT OF THE WARRANTY. IT'S VERY DANGEROUS WHEN YOU ARE ON THE ROAD WITH YOUR FAMILY SO FAR FROM HOME. IT HAPPENED IN SAN ANTONIO,TX. THIS ISSUE CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS FOR THE PASSENGERS AND DRIVERS. I HAVE BEEN DOING RESEARCH AND THERE'S ALSO ALOT OF VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE FROM NISSAN OWNERS (ALTIMA'S)
AIRBAG INDICATOR NEVER GOES OFF ON DASHBOARD. AIRBAG MALFUNCTION
THE HEADLIGHTS ARE BEYOND DIM, I AM ONLY ABLE TO SEE A SHORT DISTANCE IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE - UNLESS THE HIGH BEAMS ARE TURNED ON. IT IS WORSE WITH NIGHT DRIVING IN RAIN AND SNOW BECAUSE I AM NOT ABLE TO SEE BEYOND MY FRONT BUMPER. IT MAKES ME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO DRIVE BECAUSE I FEAR THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE PEDESTRIANS AND POTENTIALLY HURT OR WORSE KILL SOMEONE BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO SEE WHILE USING MY HEADLIGHTS. THIS IS AN ISSUE ALL THE TIME, WHETHER MOVING OR SITTING STILL, AND IT IS VERY SAD WHEN YOUR TURN SIGNALS ARE BRIGHTER AND SHINE ON STREET SIGNS BUT YOUR HEADLIGHTS DO NOT. WE HAVE REPLACED THE BULBS BUT THIS HAS NOT CORRECTED THE ISSUE AND I AM NOT SURE WHAT ELSE COULD BE CAUSING THIS TO HAVE HAPPENED WITHIN THE SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME WE HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE. AT THIS POINT I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED AN ACCIDENT OR ANYTHING, BUT FEEL IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THERE WILL BE NO LIGHT AND I WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE TOO DIM AND UNSAFE FOR NIGHT DRIVING. *TR
HEADLIGHT VISIBILITY IS AWFUL. I KEEP TAKING IT TO NISSAN TO HAVE IT CHECKED AND THEY TELL ME THEY DO NOT SEE ANYTHING WRONG. MY BIGGEST ISSUE IS I AM AFRAID I WILL HAVE A CAR ACCIDENT AT NIGHT CAUSE MY LIGHTS AS SO DIM IT LOOK LIKE I AM DRIVING WITH MY PARK LIGHTS ON.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Altima. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the headlamps were very dim. The contact was unable to see the roadway at night. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that both headlamp assemblies needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 72,000.
Low beam headlights inadequate. Very obvious. Difficult to see at night. Nissan dealer does not want to replace under class action settlement. Headlight lenses are not hazy.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO VADEN NISSAN OF SAVANNAH (10421 ABERCORN ST, SAVANNAH, GA, (912) 920-5480) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PC VALVE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE DAYS LATER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
TRANSMISSION FAILED AT 65K MILEAGE
47,000 MILES HEADLIGHTS BARELY VISIBLE ON LOW BEAM
THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE , THE REFLECTOR BOWL ON FOR THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT DETERIORATES AND DOES NOT REFLECT LIGHT . YOU CAN NOT SEE THE ROAD, THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND NISSAN IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL.
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, I AM UNABLE TO CHANGE THE GEAR OUT OF PARK EVEN THOUGH THE BRAKE IS PRESSED. IT TAKES SEVERAL ATTEMPTS BEFORE I CAN SUCCESSFULLY CHANGE THE GEAR OUT OF PARK. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR ALMOST A WEEK.
HAVING ISSUE WITH LOW BEAN LIGHTS. I CAN'T SEE AT NIGHT. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT FIXABLE. THIS WILL BE MY THIRD HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY. NISSAN IS NOT TAKING OWNERSHIP AND THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL. IT'S NOT SAFE TO DRIVER AT NIGHT UNLESS I TURN ON MY HIGH BEAMS.
ON 12/27/2018 THE REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY (RIGHT) FRACTURED ON MY 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA. THIS IS SIMILAR TO THE NHTSA ACTION NUMBER PE18013. I WAS DRIVING TO A DESTINATION NEAR MY HOME. AS I WAS NEARING MY DESTINATION I NOTICED THE CAR HANDLING UNUSUALLY, WITH A SLIGHT SWAY. AS I PARKED MY CAR I THOUGHT I HAD PULLED UP TOO FAR AND PUT IT IN REVERSE TO BACK UP. I HEARD A LOUD SOUND AND WALKED AROUND THE CAR TO NOTICE THE REAR RIGHT WHEEL RESTING HIGH IN THE WHEEL WELL. I ELECTED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS. THE TOW OPERATOR SHOWED ME WHAT HAD HAPPED ONCE IT WAS ON THE FLATBED AND HE STATED THAT MINE WAS PROBABLY THE THIRD ONE HE HAD TOWED AND MAYBE THERE WAS A RECALL. THE NEXT DAY THE SERVICE CENTER CALLED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE RIGHT REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM HAD BROKEN. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED THAT DAY AND AN INSPECTION OF THE LEFT REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM WAS PERFORMED AND SHOWED NO COMPROMISED INTEGRITY. UPON TAKING DELIVERY OF THE CAR I ALSO TOOK DELIVERY OF THE BROKEN PARTS AND HAVE INCLUDED PICTURES OF THE COMPROMISED AREA, WHICH ARE ATTACHED. IT APPEARS THAT THE PARTIAL PENETRATION WELD WAS COMPROMISED AND CAUSED THE THINNER OF THE TWO JOINED MATERIAL TO FAIL.
THE AUTO PRESENT A FAILURE IN TRANSMISSION IN MY VEHICLE THAT ITS IN A EXCELLENT MAINTENANCE. A FAILURE AT THE HIGHWAY MAY CAUSE A SAFETY PRECAUTION. THE NISSAN SAYS THAT ITS COST IS BY $5000. I WILL END MY CAR PAYMENT ON NEXT JUNE. I SAW A LOT OF PERSONS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME.
TURNING A CORNER IN A HOUSING DEVELOPMENT WHEN HEARD A SNAP/BANG AND THE REAR LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR DROPPED. STEERING BECAME UNSTEADY. DROVE SHORT DISTANCE TO HOME AND LOOKED AND FOUND THE LEFT REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM HAD RUSTED THRU AND BROKE AWAY FROM WHERE IT IS BOLTED TO THE FRAME. THE VEHICLE HAS 70,789 MILES. CHECKED THE RIGHT SIDE CONTROL ARM AND IT SHOWS SIGNS OF RUSTING BUT IS STILL REASONABLY SOLID LOOKING.
FEBRUARY 2018, DRIVER SIDE REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM BROKE OFF (RUSTED) WHILE DRIVING., TOWED TO GARAGE, PART REPLACED.CHECKED RIGHT SIDE IT APPEARED OK. DECEMBER 2018 CHRISTMAS NIGHT WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY THE CONTROL ARM ON THE RIGHT REAR PASSENGER SIDE BROKE OFF (RUST). HAD TO BE TOWED , CONTROL ARM AND OTHER BENT PARTS REPLACED. HAVE PICTURES HAD TROUBLE DOWNLOADING

THE DEALER (VADEN NISSAN OF HILTON HEAD, 200 FORDING ISLAND RD, BLUFFTON, SC 29910) WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN AN OPEN RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE IN TOWN (35 MPH) AND WAS GOING UNDER A UNDERPASS. ALL OF A SUDDEN I NOTICED MY ANTI SLIP LIGHT CAME ON, STEERING WHEEL BECAME HARD TO STEER, AND A LOUD BANGING COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE CAR. I PULLED OVER AND LOOKED AROUND THE BACK OF THE CAR, SEEING NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY. I CONTINUED ON, THINKING IT WAS POSSIBLY SOMETHING WRONG ELECTRICALLY, MAYBE WITH THE ANTI SLIP SYSTEM. DROVE A FEW MORE MILES, INCLUDING ON THE HIGHWAY (60 MPH) AND THE CAR STILL WAS HANDLING DIFFICULT. ARRIVED HOME, LOOKED AROUND THE BACK END OF CAR, NOTICED THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL WAS TILTED IN AND LOWER CONTROL ARM (RIGHT) WAS SNAPPED. CALLED TOW TRUCK DRIVER TO TOW TO REPAIR SHOP. OVER $1000 IN REPAIRS.
ACCELERATING BETWEEN 0 TO 50MPH, TRANSMISSION SHUDDER OCCURS. IT MIGHT NOT BE A PROBLEM NOW, BUT ACCORDING TO MANY MECHANICS AND DEALERS, THE TRANSMISSION COULD FAIL ANY TIME, DAYS OR YEARS. DRIVING WITH SUCH UNCERTAINTY IS VERY DANGEROUS. WHAT IF THE TRANSMISSION FAILS WHILE I AM DRIVING. THERE ARE MANY OF THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL.
THE VEHICLE WILL STUTTER AND SOMETIMES STALL WHEN STOPPED AND IN DRIVE. IT IS ALSO OFTEN SLUGGISH WHEN ACCELERATING. I HAVE HAD IT IN FOR SERVICE A NUMBER OF TIMES, THE MOST RECENT INDICATING IT IS LIKELY A TRANSMISSION ISSUE AND THE CVT WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE ISSUE STARTED IN SPRING, 2017, BUT HAS GOTTEN WORSE RECENTLY. I HAVE NOTICED THERE IS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN ASSOCIATED WITH THIS CONDITION (NTB 15-086G).

WHEN SOME ONE SITS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT THE SEAT BELT NOTIFICATION DING DOES NOT COME ON AND IT ALSO SAYS THE AIR BAG IS TURNED OFF. JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED NO ACCIDENTS REPORTED TO MY KNOWLEDGE.
HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS NOT ABLE TO SEE AT NIGHT WHEN DRIVING. REACHED OUT TO NISSAN BUT THEY SAID IT WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO HELP WITH THIS ISSUE AND WAS GIVEN A QUOTE TO HAVE THEM FIXED. I FEEL THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND FOUND OUT THIS IS A ISSUE WITH OTHER VEHICLE. SO WHY HAVEN'T A RECALL BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS MATTER? DRIVING AT NIGHT IS VERY DIFFICULT.
YESTERDAY WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE ROAD, MY RIGHT SIDE BACK VIEW MIRROR BLEW UP WITH A HUGE BANG. AND THE WHOLE THING WAS IN MILLION PIECES FLY AWAY. ON THE PLASTIC IT HAS BLACK MARKS INSIDE, LOOKS LIKE IT BURNED INSIDE AND THEN IT BLASTED
I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AND NOTICE THAT MY BACK RIGHT WHEEL WAS SHAKING. AT FIRST IT WAS MINOR AND THEN ABOUT 5 MILES INTO MY DRIVE THE SHAKING BECAME SEVERE. I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND CALLED FOR A TOW. THE EXPERIENCE WAS SCARY, THE SHAKING BECAME VERY SCARY LIKE THE WHEEL WAS GOING TO FALL OFF. I FOUND OUT FROM A MECHANIC THAT MY CONTROL ARM RIGHT REAR BROKE AND IT WAS GOOD I GOT OFF THE ROAD WHEN I DID. MY RIGHT WHEEL WAS TURNED ON IT'S SIDE. I JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR IN JUNE 2018 AND WAS TOLD BY NISSAN MARLBOROUGH THAT IT WAS A SAFE CAR.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 33840944. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 81,000. *TT CONSUMER STATED VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED.*JB
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT ABOUT 67 MPH MY ENTIRE CAR SWERVED TO THE LEFT SIDE. I FELT LIKE MY STEERING WHEEL WAS LOOSE AND THE WHEEL ALIGNMENT WAS SUDDENLY OFF. I DID HAVE TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED FROM WORK. THE FINAL DIAGNOSIS IS MY LEFT REAR CONTROL ARM SPLIT IN HALF AND MY RIGHT REAR CONTROL ARM IS CRACKED IN THE SAME SPOT. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY ISSUE AS IT COULD OF CAUSED A MAJOR ACCIDENT IF THERE WAS A CAR TO THE LEFT OF MINE DURING THIS INCIDENCE. NISSAN REPORTS $1192.05 TO REPLACE BOTH REAR CONTROL ARMS. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF ATTEMPTING TO GET REIMBURSEMENT FROM NISSAN BECAUSE THE LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP STATES THAT THEY STOCK THE PARTS FOR THE REPAIR BECAUSE THEY HAVE HAD A A FEW OF THEM LATELY. MY CASE # WITH NISSAN IS 33841223
TRANSMISSION FAILED, CAR BEING TO JERK AND JERK THEN RIDE OUT SMOOTHLY THIS HAPPENED OVER A PERIOD OF TIME,(5-6 MONTHS) THEN FINALLY IT GOT SO BAD THAT YOU COULD BARELY DRIVE THE CAR. NOW THE CARE WILL NOT DRIVE IT STALLS AND BARELY MOVE WHEN PUT IN GEAR, TRANSMISSION HAS FAILED.
LOW BEAM ISSUE CANNOT SEE AT NIGHT TIME WHEN DRIVING. REACH OUT TO NISSAN BUT NO HELP WITH THIS ISSUE. GAVE ME A QUOTE TO HAVE THEM FIX AND IN SO MANY WORDS THAT IT WAS NOT THERE PROBLEM. I'VE LEARNED THAT THIS LOW BEAM IS AN ISSUE WITH OTHER VEHICLES OF SAME MAKE, MODEL, AND YEARS. I FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND SHOULD HAVE A RECALL FOR THIS. DRIVING AT NIGHT IS UNSAFE WITH THESE HEADLIGHTS.
WHEN VEHICLE IS PUT IN GEAR IT STALLS. NISSAN SERVICE DEPARTMENT EXAMINED AND IS TRANSMISSION FAILURE. NOW NEEDS A NEW TRANSMISSION. VEHICLE HAS ONLY 56,000 MILES. WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE WAS ON WAY TO DOCTOR APPOINTMENT AS I WAS STOPPING AT LIGHT VEHICLE QUIT RUNNING.
REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM BROKE DUE TO CORROSION WHILE THE CAR WAS MOVING
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE THE CONTACT'S DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE LEFT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SUBURBAN NISSAN (1800 MAPLELAWN DR, TROY, MI 48084, 248-649-2300) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE CONTROL ARM WAS FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 102,000.
THE LATCH WILL NOT RELEASE ON THE TRUNK. THE FOB OR THE BUTTON RELEASE IS NOT WORKING!
AFTER PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW, FIRST OWNER IN SEPTEMBER 2013, 4 MONTHS LATER THE LEFT FOG LIGHT WENT OUT DID NOT THINK ANYTHING OF IT. TWO MONTHS LATER THE RIGHT HEAD LIGHT WENT OUT. NO BRAKE LIGHTS NO PARK LIGHTS NO LIGHTS. TOOK MY VEHICLE TO TIRE KINGDOM TO CHANGE BULBS ONLY TO FIND OUT THE NEW BULBS ARE NOT WORKING EITHER AND THE VEHICLE HAS A N ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. NEVER DID UNDERSTAND WHY DRIVERS BEHIND ME WOULD HONK THEIR HORNS AT ME OR BE FLASHING ME WITH THEIR HIGH BEAM LIGHTS. NISSAN NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE AS WELL AS THEIR AIR CONDITIONING PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE ONLY GETS COOL WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. YOU CANNOT HAVE THE A/C ON WHEN BEING STATIONARY THE A/C ONLY PRODUCES HEAT DURING THAT TIME.
DRIVING ON CITY STREET THEN HIGHWAY AT NORMAL SPEED. NOTICED TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ON AND FELT SWAYING IN REAR OF CAR. HEARD LOUD NOISE AND SWAYING WORSENED SO I PULLED OVER. AFTER HAVING CAR LOOKED AT WAS TOLD COULD NOT BE DRIVEN AS LOWER RIGHT REAR CONTROL ARM HAD BROKEN RIGHT OFF! CAR HAD TO BE TOWED ON FLAT BED. REPAIRS ARE UNDERWAY. VERY SCARY SITUATION WITH SUDDEN LOSS OF CONTROL.
THE DIMMER LIGHTS ON HEADLIGHT, BOTH, PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE IS EXTREMELY DARK, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. BRIGHT LIGHTS ARE OK, IT'S MY HEADLIGHTS IN DIMMER MODE MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT AND DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AT NIGHT
LIGHTS HAVE BEEN GOING DIM. DANGEROUSLY CANNOT TELL IF LOW BEAMS ARE ON OR OFF. ITS NOT A BULB ISSUE. THE BEIGHT HIGH BEAMS ARE FINE AND YOU HAVE TO USE THEM TO DRIVE AT NIGHT
AT 68936 MILES I HAD TO REPLACE RIGHT REAR WHEEL BEARING. NOW LESS THAN 5 MONTHS LATER THE FRONT RIGHT PASSENGER WHEEL BEARING AND HUB HAVE TO BE REPLACED MILEAGE NOW AT 74600. AFTER HAVING CHECKED WITH VARIOUS NISSAN SHOPS I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS AN UNUSUAL REPAIR AT THIS MILEAGE LEVEL FOR ONE MUCH LESS BOTH ASSEMBLIES.
FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT HAS NO AUTOMATIC TENSION WITH THE APPLICATION OF BRAKES. I HAVE TO MANUALLY TIGHTEN THE SEATBELT OR IT DOESN'T.
MY HEADLIGHT ON MY NISSIAN ALTIMA ON DEN IS TO LIGHT AT NIGHT I CANNOT SEE THE ROAD I HAVE TO PUT THEM ON BRIGHT TO SEE. THAT IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN MEETING ANOTHER VEHICLE AND U CAN'T HARDLY SEE THE ROAD. IT COST ALSO 800.00 TO GET NEW LIGHT. EVERYONE I TALK TO WITH SAME MODEL CAR ARE HAVING SAME PROBLEM. COST ESTIMATED MINIMUM FROM $651+ TAX TO $3427.92+ TAX. THIS FAILURE IS NOT DUE TO MISUSE. IT IS A RECALL PROBLEM. SEE ATTACHED DIAGNOSTICS AND REPAIR ESTIMATE ATTACHED. REQUEST THIS BE REPLACED UNDER RECALL.
