THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL ON THE SECOND LATCH OF THE HOOD ON MY NISSAN ALTIMA FOR MORE THAN 3 MONTHS NOW AND THE ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. THE VEHICLE IS STILL ABLE TO BE USED HOWEVER, IT IS QUITE DANGEROUS IF THE LATCH ACCIDENTALLY GETS PULED WHILE DRIVING.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE TOO DIM TO OPERATE SAFELY AT NIGHT, ESPECIALLY WITH WET ROADS. REPLACEMENT OF LIGHT BULBS DOES NOT IMPROVE LOW-BEAM PERFORMANCE. THIS SEEMS TO BE A FAILURE OF THE LOW-BEAM PROJECTION COATING IN THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING. THE SITUATION IS RAPIDLY GETTING WORSE.
OUT OF KNOW WHERE MY CAR WILL NOT GO INTO DRIVE, STUCK IN PARK. SO I BEEN HAVING TO PUSH IN THE SHIFT LOCK. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO GOTO AND FROM WORK AGAIN WITHOUT DOING THIS. WHAT DO I DO
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that the “Air Bag Off” warning light remained illuminated for approximately a year. The contact stated that she took the vehicle to the dealer and was informed that the OCS sensor and module had failed and needed to be replaced. The failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V911000 (Air Bags) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 156,000.
THE HEADLIGHTS IN THE DIM POSITION DO NOT SUFFICIENTLY PROVIDE ENOUGH LIGHT TO SAFELY DRIVE AT NIGHT WHILE DRIVING.
THE LIGHTING PROVIDED BY THE HEADLIGHTS ON LOW BEAM ARE WOEFULLY SUB STANDARD AND MAKES IT DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. RESEARCH INDICATES THIS HAS BEEN WIDELY KNOWN IN 2013-2015 MODELS. THE COST OF REPAIRS IS IN THE $1000 RANGE. SINCE THIS IS A WIDESPREAD ISSUE AND BULB REPLACEMENT DOES NOT CORRECT THE SAFETY HAZARD THIS SHOULD QUALIFY AS A RECALL AND BE FIXED AT NO CHARGE TO THE CONSUMER. THIS IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO,HAPPEN. MY WIFE REFUSES TO DRIVE THIS CAR AT NIGHT DUE TO THE POOR VISIBILITY.
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR COMPLETELY STOPPED MOVING, TRANSMISSION LOCKED UP. MY REPAIR SHOP COULDN'T FIX IT OR FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. CAR HAS BEEN SITTING FOR WEEKS WHILE TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH NISSAN WHO HAS TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON MY VEHICLES CVT TRANSMISSION AND THEY HAD NEVER SENT OUT A RECALL NOTICE TO ME AND I'VE BEEN THE REGISTER OWNER FOR YEARS.
Nissan needs to do a recall on their rear suspensions. My 2013 Nissan Altima suspension has had some issue AFTER Nissan service bulletin for rear suspension was checked. I believe that the service bulletin that Nissan “did” or “checked“ was replaced with the same faulty parts or not checked correctly. Giving the same issue with the suspension. Prior to the rear suspension bulletin services, l had a control arm snap in half while driving. There was no knocking/ clunking sounds. Just one day it snapped and broke. While my car was being serviced to be fixed, it was at this time I was informed about the rear suspension links. After leaving Nissan that day, my car has STILL not been right to drive. Loose sterling , pulling, drifting- making it impossible to control vehicle. The rear suspension- links/ control arm/ ball joints need to be recalled and replaced.
BACKING DOWN A DRIVEWAY AND IT FELT LIKE I HAD HIT SOMETHING, OR WAS PUSHING IT. THERE WAS NOTHING UNDER OR BEHIND THE CAR. THE PASSENGER REAR CONTROL ARM BROKE.
THE LOW BEAMS ON MY HEADLIGHTS ARE REALLY DIM AND THE HOUSING UNIT FOR THE BULB IS BURNT OUT NOT ALLOWING THE LIGHT TO PROJECT. I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING WITHOUT THE USE OF MY HIGH BEAMS ON CAUSING A HUGE VISIBILITY SAFETY ISSUE. I WILL NEED TO BUY ALL NEW HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES IN ORDER TO HAVE GOOD VISIBILITY AND TO FIX THE ISSUE. HEADLIGHTS EXTREMELY DIM CAUSING NIGHT DRIVING HAZARD. ISSUE IS DUE TO DEGRADATION OF REFLECTOR IN HEADLIGHT HOUSING. I HAD TO REPLACE BOTH HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES TO RESOLVE SAFETY ISSUE WITH THE CAR. THIS IS APPARENTLY A PRONOUNCED PROBLEM WITH NISSAN ALTIMAS PER NISSAN ONLINE FORUMS. PHOTO SHOWS REPLACEMENT HEADLIGHT ON LEFT AND THE ORIGINAL DEFECTIVE HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR ON THE RIGHT.
ON MY WAY TO WORK LOWER CONTROL ARM BROKE WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE STREET JUST BEFORE I GOT ON THE HIGHWAY

The contact stated while merging onto the freeway at approximately 35 MPH, the hood latch became inoperable, and the hood inadvertently unlatched, raised up, and struck the windshield, causing the windshield to shatter. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed. The vehicle was diagnosed with a defective hood latch. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V315000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS STILL AT THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR REPAIRS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOCAL NISSAN DEALER INFORMED HER THAT THIS WAS A KNOWN FAILURE WITH SIMILAR VEHICLES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 187,000.
I HAVE HAD MY 2013 ALTIMA FOR 6 MONTHD. IT WAS MARYLAND STATE INSPECTED IN APRIL BEFORE MY TIME OF PURCHASE. TODAY OCT 23, 2020 I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY ABOUT 50 MPH ON MY WAY TO WORK. I HEARD A BANG SOUND AND ALL MY TRAC CONTROL LIGHTS CAME ON MY DASHBOARD AND I LIST STEERING IN THE REAR. PULLED OVER AND FOUND THE REAR CONTROL ARM OR A FRAME IS TOTALLY RUSTED AND BROKE IN HALF WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS WELDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THIS IS NOT SAFE AT ALL. BEING A BEGINNER DRIVER ESPECIALLY, I SEE ALL COMPLAINTS OF THIS PROBLEM. WHY IS NISSAN NOT HELPING?
THE LOW BEAMS FOR MY 2013 ALTIMA SL HAVE BECOME TOO DIM FOR ME TO SEE AT NIGHT. I HAVE HAD TO START USING THE HIGH BEAMS TO SEE AT NIGHT WHICH COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS FOR OTHER DRIVERS, BUT IF I DIDN'T USE THEM I COULD CRASH DUE TO POOR VISIBILITY.
THE CAR WAS STATIONARY IN THE DRIVEWAY, WITH WHEEL WEDGES PLACED AT FRONT TIRES. IT WAS JACKED UP THE REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE WAS REMOVED TO PUT ON NEW BRAKES, ONLY TO FIND A BOLT HOLDING THE CALIPER ON TO THE BRACKET WAS BROKE OFF. THIS WARRANTS A GREAT SAFETY CONCERN. DO ALL THE OTHER ONES HAVE TO BE CHANGED?- IN ORDER TO PREVENT A SAFETY HAZARD.
STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT. MADE LEFT TURN CAR SHUDDERED SMOOTHED OUT AND DROVE 1 MILE AND PARKED CAR FOR 30 MINUTES AND GOT READY TO MOVE VEHICLE AND SHIFTED TO REVERSE AND ENGINE STALLED. STARTED ENGINE PUT TRANSMISSION IN DRIVE AND ENGINE STALLED. DEALER SAY'S TRANSMISSION IS BAD AND NEEDS REPLACED.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE TOO DIM TO SAFELY SEE AT NIGHT.
THE HEADLIGHT PROJECTOR HOUSING HAS "FAILED" AFTER 6-7 YEARS. THE REFLECTIVE COATING IN THE PROJECTOR HOUSING NO LONGER WORKS PROPERLY, WITH ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE TO THEM. EVEN WITH BRAND NEW HEADLIGHT (LOWLIGHT) LED BULBS PUSHING 10,000 LUMENS, THE HEADLIGHTS BARELY PROJECT 30-50 FEET IN FRONT OF THE CAR, AND DOES NOT ALLOW FOR PROPER LIGHTING AT NIGHT. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD AND NISSAN NEEDS TO SET A RECALL FOR THIS ON ALL 2013-2015 NISSAN ALTIMA(S). MANY PEOPLE ONLINE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS, AND NISSAN'S RESPONSE IS TO CHARGE PEOPLE UPWARDS OF $1000 TO REPLACE THE HEADLIGHTS COMPLETELY. THIS NEEDS TO BE FORCED AS A RECALL, PLEASE!
ON ROUTE 414 HEADING SOUTH GOING ABOUT 49, MY HOOD POPPED OPEN AND BUSTED MY WINDSHIELD. NISSAN TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO FIX FOR THE PROBLEM AND THAT THEY COULD NOT HELP ME WITH FIXING, REFUNDING OR TRADING FOR ANOTHER CAR. I AM EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED THAT THEY WILL NOT HELP GET ME IN A SAFER CAR. I ALSO ASKED ABOUT A LOANER UNTIL THIS COULD BE FIXED AND THEY SAID NO.

THE CVTS INSTALLED IN THE NISSAN ALTIMAS HAVE CAUSED A VARIETY OF PROBLEMS - SHAKING, LOSING ACCELERATION AND STALLING, AMONG OTHERS - ACCORDING TO OWNERS WHO ARE REGULARLY POSTING COMPLAINTS ON WEBSITES SUCH AS AUTONEWS.COM, CARCOMPLAINTS.COM, AND CARS.COM. NISSAN ALTIMA OWNERS HAVE SECURED A SETTLEMENT OFFER FROM THE CARMAKER WHICH WOULD RESOLVE CLAIMS THAT THE VEHICLES' TRANSMISSIONS FAIL PREMATURELY. MY CATALYTIC CONVERTER IS RUSTED. THERE WERE OTHER PARTS THAT WERE ON A RECALL BECAUSE OF RUSTING I'VE HAD REPLACED, BUT THERE IS STILL MY CATALYTIC CONVERTER THAT IS RUSTING AS WELL. THIS IS ALL DOCUMENTED IN MY LAST SERVICE REPORT

THE HEADLIGHT SLOWLY LOST THEIR ABILITY TO REFLECT LIGHT FROM THE BULB. THEY STARTED BRIGHT WHEN I OWNED THE CAR BUT SLOWLY BECAME MORE DIM AS TIME WENT ON. I REALIZE THAT HALOGEN BULBS WILL DO THAT, BUT THIS WASN'T THE RESULT OF THE BULB. THE REFLECTIVE COATING INSIDE OF THE LOW BEAM PROJECTOR HAD STARTED TO COME OFF AND THE PROJECTOR WAS NOT PROJECTING LIGHT AS IT SHOULD. IT BECAME SO DIM THAT I COULD BARELY SEE AT NIGHT, IF THE ROADS WERE NOT LIT UP. IT WASN'T MUCH OF A PROBLEM IF I WAS DRIVING THROUGH A LIGHTED CITY, BUT IF I WAS ON BACK COUNTRY ROADS, I COULDN'T SEE MORE THAN FORTY FEET AHEAD. I HAVE REPLACED BOTH HOUSINGS AND I WAS ABLE TO SEE MUCH FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD. I TRIED PUTTING A NEW BULB IN THE OLD HOUSING, BUT IT STILL FAILED TO REFLECT THE LIGHT. I HAVE PICTURES OF OUTSIDE ONE OF THE HEADLIGHTS AND A PICTURE OF INSIDE THE REFLECTOR. IT SHOWS WHERE THE REFLECTIVE COATING WAS COMING OFF. THIS IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE WITH NISSAN ALTIMAS THAT HAVE BOTH HALOGEN AND XENON HEADLIGHTS. I ATTACHED THE PICTURES TO MY COMPLAINT. THIS IS NOT A ONE TIME INCIDENT, BUT RATHER AN ONGOING ISSUE THAT PROGRESSIVE GOT WORSE UNTIL THE FAULTY PARTS WERE REPLACED.
AIRBAG SIGN CAME ON AT MILLAGE 112000 ALL OF A SUDDEN AND THE PASSENGER OCCUPANCY SENSOR TURN OFF AND ON INTERMITTENTLY WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. MECHANIC ARE RECOMMENDING TO REPLACE AIRBAG MODULE WHICH MIGHT COST COUPLE OF THOUSAND DOLLARS. PLEASE HELP ME! THE DIAGNOSTIC CODE SAYS B0028-13
WHEN IN THE PARKED POSITION AND IDLE, THE PRESSING OF THE SHIFT TRIGGER ON THE SHIFTER WILL NOT ALLOW THE CAR TO SHIFT FROM PARKED TO ANY OTHER POSITION (IT IS STUCK) DUE TO THE FAILURE OF A SELENOID SENSOR NOT ACTIVATING FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL AFTER PRESSING THE BRAKE IN ORDER TO ALLOW THE SHIFTING TO TAKE PLACE. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR LOWER SUSPENSION LINK HAD CORRODED AND SEPARATED FROM THE REAR BUSHING LINK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER FUCCILLO NISSAN OF LATHAM LOCATED AT 976 NEW LOUDON RD, LATHAM, NY 12110 WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,000.
THE LOW BEAM DRIVING LIGHTS AREN'T BRIGHT ENOUGH TO SAFELY ILLUMINATE THE ROAD. IT IS NOT DUE TO OLD BULBS, BUT RATHER DUE TO THE DESIGN AND MATERIALS OF THE REFLECTOR SYSTEM SURROUNDING THE BULB WHICH HAS DETERIORATED. HIGH BEAMS WORK FINE. LOW BEAMS MIGHT AS WELL BE OFF AS PEDESTRIANS, PARKED CARS, STOPPED CARS, ARE ALL NOT VISIBLE UNTIL WITHIN 20-30 FEET IN FRONT WHEN DRIVING ON OTHERWISE DIMLY LIT ROADS. I HAVE RUN OVER A SMALL CURB THAT WAS NOT VISIBLE DUE TO THE POOR LIGHTING. I AM CONCERNED I WILL NOT HAVE STOPPING DISTANCE IN RAIN EVEN AT LOW SPEED, SHOULD A PEDESTRIAN SUDDENLY BE VISIBLE IN THE LOW LIGHTING.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO ALL STAR NISSAN (27700 JUBAN RD, SUITE A, DENHAM SPRING, LA 70726) WHERE THE FAILURE WAS DIAGNOSED AS A FAULTY TRANSMISSION THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION HAD FAILED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE RECEIVED AN UNKNOWN MANUFACTURER'S RECALL FOR THE TRANSMISSION AND NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER HOWEVER, THEY OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE BECAUSE THE TRANSMISSION WAS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED A SECOND TIME. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 154,113.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving at night, she noticed that the low-beam headlights were becoming very dim. The contact stated that the failure occurred gradually and that no warning lights were illuminated. Over time, the failure occurred more frequently. The contact stated that it had become increasingly more difficult to see the roadway while driving because the headlights were extremely dim. The local dealer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to replace the headlight assemblies. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
THE CHROME IN THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS TENDS TO BURN OUT QUICKLY WHICH AFFECTS THE PROJECTION. ACCORDING TO NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS, THIS IS A KNOWN COSTLY REPAIR WITH 2013-2017 BUT MOSTLY AFFECTS THE 2013. THE REPAIR COSTS IS QUOTED AT $1119.85. WHEN THE HEADLAMPS BURN OUT THE CAR IS NOT DRIVABLE BECAUSE IT CANNOT PASS INSPECTION WHICH IS CURRENTLY MY ISSUE. I CAN'T AFFORD TO HAVE THIS REPLACED WHICH UNFORTUNATELY AFFECTS MY EMPLOYMENT BECAUSE I CAN'T DRIVE TO WORK.
THE LOW BEAM ON THE HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM WE CANNOT DRIVE AT NIGHT. THE BRIGHT LIGHTS ARE GREAT... READING ONLINE IT WOULD SEEM THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM HOWEVER A BULB WILL NOT FIX THE ISSUE. THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT HOUSING HAS TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF THE INTERIOR PORTION WHERE THE BULB SETS IS DETERIORATING... STARTED NOTICING THIS 2 YEARS AGO AND IT GETTING WORSE..
MY HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM I AM UNABLE TO DRIVE MY CAR AT NIGHT FOR FEAR OF GETTING INTO AN ACCIDENT. I'VE RESEARCHED AND FOUND THAT THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH 2013-2015 NISSANS HOWEVER NISSAN HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM WHICH IS CLEARLY A SAFETY ISSUE. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT WITH MY HIGH BEAMS TO BE ABLE TO SEE WHICH PUTS OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD AT RISK. AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET TO CORRECT AN ISSUE THAT STEMS FROM A DEFECTIVE/POOR QUALITY PART WITHIN THE HEADLAMPS.
WILL NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK, APPARENTLY IT IS A SOLENOID ISSUE THAT NISSAN WILL NOT RECALL.
THE FLOORBOARD IS FULL OF WATER EVERY TIME IT RAINS. THE CAR SMELLS AND MOLD IS STARTING TO FORM. BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR FLOORBOARDS. IT WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY.
AIRBAG LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF, IT STAYS ON SOLID RED. I CONTACTED NISSAN AND WAS INFORMED 2013 ALTIMA DOES NOT FALL UNDER THE RECALL FOR THE AIRBAG ISSUE.
I HAVE THE 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA AND IT IS HAVING VERY OBVIOUS SUSPENSION ISSUES AS IT IS SQUEAKING AND POPPING WITH TURNS AND BUMPS. THERE IS NO RECALL ON THIS CURRENTLY DESPITE PEOPLE SAYING THEIR WHEELS CAME OFF WHEN THEIRS BROKE. I AM VERY SCARED TO DRIVE MY CHILD IN THIS VEHICLE THAT NISSAN DEEMS SAFE.
I WAS REVERSING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY. DIDN'T HIT ANYTHING. HEARD A SMALL 'THUMP.' I GOT OUT AND CHECKED MY CAR. EVERYTHING LOOKED OK. THEN ABOUT 2 BLOCKS LATER, IN DRIVE, ON A SIDE STREET, MY CAR STARTED SHAKING VIOLENTLY, AS THOUGH I HAD BEEN HIT, BUT I WASN'T. IT WAS LIKE THE WORST ROLLER COASTER EVER MADE. LOUD AND EXTREMELY SHAKY. I GOT HOME AND AS IT WAS NIGHT AND DARK OUT, DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING. TODAY WHEN THE DAYLIGHT CAME OUT, I NOTICED MY REAR PASSENGER TIRE LEANING INWARDS 'DRASTICALLY. SO I LOOKED UNDER THE TIRE AREA AND THERE WAS A CORRODED PIECE OF METAL HANGING DOWN WITH MY SPRING LOOSE. MY FRIEND AND I SEARCHED EVERYWHERE AND COULDN'T FIND THE PART'13-14 NISSAN ALTIMA SEDAN REAR PASSENGER RIGHT LOWER MAIN SPRING SUPPORT ARM. I CALLED NISSAN AND WAS QUOTED $200 AND SOME CHANGE. OK, NOT TOO BAD... THEN I STARTED GOOGLING FOR A CHEAPER PRICE AND LO AND BEHOLD, I COME ACROSS A FEW SITES SAYING YOU GUYS ARE INVESTING THIS, AND I BELIEVE A USA TODAY ARTICLE SAID THERE WAS NO 'RECALL,' BUT THAT THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE ROUGHLY 200,000 CARS IN THE USA AND CANADA COME IN TO HAVE IT FIXED. I DID NOT GET NOTICE FOR THIS! I WAS LUCKILY ABOUT A MILE FROM HOME. BUT I COULD BARELY CONTROL THE CAR. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, THE LEFT SIDE (DRIVER REAR) IS SHOWING SIGNS OF THE SAME WEAR. I WAS DRIVING IDLE SPEED IN ORDER TO 'BE SAFE.' WHY WAS I NOT NOTIFIED?! AND WHY IS IT THAT WHEN I CALLED NISSAN, THEY DID NOT TELL ME THIS WAS A 'KNOWN ISSUE' AS THEY HAVE IN THE PAST? WHY, WHEN MY CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY DID THEY NOT FIX IT? ANYTHING! THIS IS DANGEROUS! I LITERALLY HAD HARDLY ANY CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. ARE YOU STILL INVESTIGATING THIS? AND AGAIN, I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN NOTICE TO HAVE IT FIXED! WHY ONLY 200,000 CARS?! THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL. I WILL NEED REIMBURSEMENT SINCE THEY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS ISSUE!

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. AN UNKNOWN DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT PARTS WERE NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE HEADLIGHTS ON THE 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA ARE A COMPLETE SAFETY HAZARD. IT IS LIKE I AM DRIVING WITHOUT ANY LIGHTS WHEN THEY ARE ON AND I CANNOT SEE AT ALL UNLESS I HAVE ON MY HIGH BEAMS. DRIVING WITH MY BRIGHTS ON ALL THE TIME AT NIGHT CAUSES ISSUES FOR THE DRIVERS AROUND ME. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT OR KILLED DUE TO THE LACK OF VISIBILITY. I HAVE HAD THE LIGHTS CHANGED AND THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM. PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING OF THE ISSUE ALL OVER THE INTERNET AND IT SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL BY NISSAN BEFORE THEY ARE SUED!
A/C WAS BLOWING HOT AIR WHILE DRIVING AND HOT AIR WHEN I CAME TO STOPS AND IDLED. IT'S ONLY FOR SOME CARS THAT HAVE AUTO CLIMATE CONTROL APPARENTLY. ALL INTERIOR DOOR LATCHES DO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. DOORS DO NOT OPEN FROM THE INSIDE. A SERIOUS SAFETY DEFECT.
MY 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA SL KEEPS STALLING ON ME WITHOUT ANY WARNING. THE DECODER STATED IT WAS THE MAX AIR FLOW SENSOR, I REPLACED IT, I'M STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAD A TUNE UP DONE EVEN THOUGH I HAVE LOW MILES. NO ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. I READ SOME REVIEWS AND I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON WITH THE THE SAME CAR OR YEAR HAVING THIS ISSUE. YOU TAKE IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY TELL ME NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT.

ILLEGAL TO DRIVE WITH HIGH BEAMS ON - FEAR TICKET FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATION. FEAR CAUSING AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF BLINDING ANOTHER ONCOMING DRIVER WITH HIGH BEAMS ON. HAD ONE LOW BEAM DIE WHILE ON A 250 MILE TRIP AND COULD NOT SEE AT NIGHT WITH ONLY ONE LOW BEAM ON. I HAVE HEARD OF OTHER COMPLAINTS FOR 2013-15 NISSAN ALTIMA HEADLAMPS BEING TOO DIM. (SERIES 5-?) BOUGHT CAR NEW IN 2014 AND HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH LIGHTS FOR THREE YEARS. PRELIMINARY REPORTS INDICATE PLASTIC REFLECTIVE BOWL IN HEADLAMP IS DEFECTIVE BECAUSE MATERIALS DEGRADE AND WEAR OUT OVER TIME. NISSAN HAS REMAINED SILENT AND DEALERSHIP WILL CHECK FOR MOISTURE AND STATE THAT HEADLAMPS ARE WITHING SPECS. THESE HEADLAMPS ARE DEFECTIVE AND THE NTSB SHOULD INVESTIGATE AND ISSUE A RECALL.- BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT OR DIES. I COULD NOT SEE PEDESTRIANS CROSSING THE ROAD LAST NIGHT WHILE MY LOW BEAMS WERE ON. MY VISION IS FINE AND MY SPEED WAS ONLY 30 MPH ON A CITY STREET, BUT PEDESTRIANS CROSSING THE ROAD WERE NOT SEEN BY MYSELF OR FRONT SEAT PASSENGER UNTIL IT WAS ALMOST TOO LATE. I JUST REPLACED THE HEADLAMPS WITH UPGRADED SYLVANIA BULBS NOT MORE THAN A WEEK AGO. NISSAN SHOULD REPLACE THE FRONT HEADLAMP LENSES ON BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE - WITHOUT CHARGE. A SAFETY RECALL NEEDS TO BE ISSUED.
THE AIRBAG SIGN CAME (CODE B0028) ON AT 110000 MILES ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T BEEN ON ANY ACCIDENTS FOR LAST 12000 MILES. WHEN I CHECKED WITH DEALERS, THEY SAID AIRBAG CONTROL MODULE IS MALFUNCTIONING AND NEED TO REPLACE THAT WITH RIGHT SIDE PASSENGER AIRBAG WIRES AND MIGHT COST 2000 OR MORE DOLLARS. I AM AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AND IT'S HARD FOR ME TO ARRANGE THAT MUCH MONEY. PLEASE HELP ME, AS I HAVE COME TO KNOW THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM IN NISSAN VEHICLES.
