MY TRANSMISSION IS CONSTANTLY KICKING BACK AT ME, THIS MORNING 2017-09-27 MY TRANSMISSION COMPLETELY GAVE OUT. REVING IS TO 5-6 RPM NOT BEING ABLE TO EXCEED 10 MPH. THE DRIVERS SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG KEEPS TRIPPING MY AIRBAGS TO DEACTIVATE. HAVE TO HAD THE CODE RESET SEVERAL TIMES. THE BACK UP CAMERA LOOKS LIKE IT IS LOOSING SIGNAL EVEN THOUGH IT IS HARD WIRED, THE LANE SENSOR WARNINGS FAIL, FAILING TO INFORM OF A VEHICLE IN YOUR BLIND SPOT. THE KEY FOB CONTINUOUSLY SAYS KEY INVAILED DASHBOARD.
A DEER WAS STRUCK BY MY 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA AT A RELATIVELY HIGH RATE OF SPEED (45 MPH) ON A CITY STREET STRAIGHTAWAY WITH FRONT END IMPACT THAT RESULTED IN APPROXIMATELY $11,000 WORTH OF DAMAGE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED BRUSING OF THE CHEST AND SHOULDER FROM THE PRESSURE OF THE SEATBELT RESTRAINT. THE AIRBAG FAILED TO FIRE AS I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED IT TO. .UPDATED 11/08/17 *BF UPDATED 8/21/18*JB
STATING BRIEFLY AUTO NOT IN MOTION TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL SIDE TO SIDE THERE IS A CLANKING NOISE IN THE STEERING COLUMN ...WHILE DRIVING IN MOTION MAKING RIGHT / LEFT TURNS STEERING COLUMN FEELS KIND OF SLACK. OCCURRENCES CITY AND H'WAY. THIS WAS REPORTED TO THE DEALERSHIP DURING A SERVICE OIL CHANGE IN SEPTEMBER 2017..
I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN FOR THE FIRST AIRBAG RECALL AND THEY FIXED THE ISSUE. THE AIRBAG ISSUE REOCCURRED AGAIN WHEN SOMEONE WOULD SIT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, THE VEHICLE STILL SHOWED THE PASSENGER AIRBAG DISABLED. I HAD PEOPLE OF VARIOUS WEIGHTS SITTING THERE RANGING FROM 70 POUNDS TO 140 POUNDS. THIS HAPPENED OVER SEVERAL WEEKS AND WHEN I TOOK MY CAR IN, THEY FIXED IT AGAIN. NOW IT'S HAPPENING FOR A THIRD TIME.
CRANK SHAFT SENSOR MALFUNCTION. MY CAR STOP ON ME WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET. IT SHOOK AND THEN SHUT DOWN. VERY SCARY. I HAD TO GET PUSH OUT OF THE STREET BY POLICE CAUSE I WAS IN THE WAY OF TRAFFIC. SOMEONE ALMOST RAN INTO ME.
THE PLASTIC SHROUD THAT COVERS THE BOTTOM PART OF THE DRIVER SEAT HAS SHARP EDGES, AND STICKS OUT TO A POINT TO WHERE IT CUTS MY CALVES WHEN I ENTER AND EXIT THE CAR. I HAD THE DEALER CORRECT THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER, THE WAY THEY REPOSITIONED THE PLASTIC SHROUD NOW CUTS INTO THE SEAT ITSELF. I INFORMED NISSAN ABOUT THE PROBLEM OF THE SHROUD NOW CUTTING INTO MY SEAT, AND WAS TOLD "THERE IS NOTING ELSE WE CAN DO ABOUT THIS..", SO I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR EITHER A NEW DRIVER SIDE SEAT DOWN THE LINE, OR HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT REPAIRED.
2016 NISSAN ALTIMA SR: THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG IS OFF WHEN AN ADULT IS IN THE SEAT. THIS IS AN INTERNMENT PROBLEM. NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DEALER STATED THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO AND THE AIRBAG IS NOT ISSUE. LITHIA NISSAN OF FRESNO, DEALER EXPLANATION WAS THE PASSENGER WAS NOT SITTING CORRECTLY. LOOKING TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE IS HAVING THIS ISSUE. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN NEW CONDITION.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED AND ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN AND THEN DECELERATED AGAIN. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND THEN DROVE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO KEN MELTON NISSAN (1000 N. GALENA AVENUE, DIXON, IL 61021, 815-288-4455) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS SCHEDULED TO BE REPAIRED ON JULY 9, 2019. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND WAS ADVISED TO CALL NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000.

I HAVE CONTACT NISSAN NORT AMERICA ON 5 O ASION PRIOR TO THE LAST INCIDENT WITH REQUESTING MY MONEY BACK FOR THIS DEFFECTED CAR AND TO TAKE THIS CAR OUT OF THE ROAD AND THEY SAY NO REFUBD NO RETURN AND ALL THEY CAN OFFET IS KEEP FIXING AT THIS TIME I HAVE SPENT 13,000 FOR A CAR THAT I AM AFRAID AND I KNOW SHOULD NOT BE IN THE ROAD RECALL IT BACK AS DEFECTED I BELIEVE THIS CAR WILL CAUSE SOME ONES LIFE.
PURCHASED 4/2017 BRAND NEW. JULY 1ST, NOTICE THE AIRBAG SENSOR LIGHT IS ON ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, TAKE IT IN; THEY REPLACE A SENSOR, DIDN'T FIX, REPLACE ANOTHER SENSOR, LIGHT GOES OFF. IN AUGUST, THE VEHICLE AGAIN HAS THE LIGHT ON, TAKE IT BACK TO DEALER; THEY REPLACE THE FIRST SENSOR (THE ONE THAT WAN'T BAD) AND THE LIGHT GOES OFF. HOWEVER I AM TOLD THAT THE TECH THOUGHT IT MAY BE A WIRING HARNESS ISSUE; "LETS SEE IF THIS CORRECTS IT"; SINCE THE AIRBAG WON'T DEPLOY IF THE SENSOR IS BAD!! DECEMBER 19TH; DRIVING IN A SNOWSTORM, THE LIGHT COMES ON AGAIN. SINCE IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE TO DRIVE IT AS WITHOUT THE SENSOR; THE AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY. SO HERE WE ARE THIRD TIME TO GO OUT; AND IT SEEMS LIKE WIRING SHOUDL HAVE BEEN LOOKED AT FIRST.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO METRO NISSAN OF MONTCLAIR (9440 AUTOPLEX ST, MONTCLAIR, CA 91763, 909-625-5575) AND WAS REPAIRED. THE DIAGNOSTIC DETAILS WERE UNKNOWN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 34,900.
HUSBAND WAS IN AN ACCIDENT IN JUNE. STOPPED AT A REDLIGHT ON THE CITY STREET GOING NORTH, WHEN HE WAS HIT FROM BEHIND. THE REAR END ENDED UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CAR. I DO NOT KNOW IF AIRBAGS ARE SUPPOSE TO DEPLOY WHEN HE WAS STOPPED AT THE RED LIGHT. HIS DID NOT. HE SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES BRUSING TO HIS NECK SHOULDERS AND HANDS

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO EMPIRE NISSAN LOCATED IN ONTARIO, CA WHO WAS UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND SENT THE CONTACT TO FONTANA NISSAN LOCATED IN FONTANA, CA WHERE THE IMMOBILIZER, BATTERY, REMOTE, AV MASTER CONTROL UNIT, REARVIEW CAMERA, REARVIEW CAMERA ASSEMBLY, DOOR HANDLES ON THE DRIVER SIDE, TRUNK LID GATE LOCK ASSEMBLY, AND THE TRUNK LOCK WERE ALL REPLACED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: 26294642. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
MY TRANSMISSION STOPPED WORKING WHILE I WAS DRIVING FIRST IN THE CITY AND IT CONTINUED TO WHEN I WENT ON THE HIGHWAY TO THE POINT I HAD NO POWER AND THE WHEN I PRESSED THE GAS NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN. I HAD TO HAVE THE COMPUTER IN THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED AND THE CAR STILL IDLES AS IF IT WILL CUT OFF AT ANY MOMENT. THAT WAS AT 40K AND I JUST HAD TO REPLACE THE O2 SENSOR AT 60K
CAR WAS UNABLE TO SWITCH GEARS WHEN IN STOP AND GO TRAFFICE CONDITIONS.JERKY ACCELERATION DURING THIS SITUATION.ENGINE REEVES UP WHEN GIVING GAS.I HAD TO TURN THE CAR OFF IN ORDER TO GET OUT OF THIS MODE.TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER GOT CODE P0776. THEY TOLD ME IT HAS TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AND THEY ARE GOING TO PUT REBUILT TRANSMISSION.THIS HAPPENED FREQUENTLY AFTER BUYING THE CAR.THIS PROBLEM NEVER TRIGGERED CHECK ENGINE LIGHT UNTIL RECENTLY.TOOK TO THE DEALER ON 05-28-2018.
I PURCHASED MY CAR ON MARCH 21 2017 & I ALREADY HAD TO CHANGE MY BREAKS 3 TIMES FRONT THREE TIMES & BACK BREAKS TWICE IN LESS THAN A YEAR
I WAS DRIVING ON FLORIDA TURNPIKE SOUTH AND OUT OF NO WHERE I HEAR A BIG BOOM NOISE. MY CAR STARTED OVER HEATING AND I NOTICED MY ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ONTO THE DASHBOARD. ONCE I PULLED OVER ON SIDE OF TURNPIKE, I NOTICE STICKING OUT OF MY FRONT BUMPER A BIG PIECE OF METAL.
AS WE WERE PULLING UP TO STOP LIGHT CAR DIED, WOULD NOT START BACK UP. SMOKE STARTED COMING OUT FROM UNDER THE HOOD AND IMMEDIATELY FLAMES. TOTAL LOSS OF CAR BURNED THE COMPLETE MOTOR ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE DASH. WE WERE ON A CITY STREET INTERSECTION. WE HAD JUST BEEN TO NISSAN HAVING CAR SERVICED, OIL CHANGE.
I HAVE A BRAND NEW 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA ! MY SON AND I WERE ON THE HIGHWAY HEADED TO HIS SCHOOL TALENT SHOW! ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CAR STARTS TO SHAKE AND I HEAR A LOUD NOISE! THE LATCH-LOCK CABLE MAY NOT HAVE BEEN ROUTED PROPERLY IN THE REAR DOOR. THE CABLE MAY INTERFERE WITH THE WINDOW REGULATOR CAUSING THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR TO UNLATCH AND INADVERTENTLY OPEN WITH THE MECHANISM IS LOWERED TO OPEN WINDOW.
I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT ABOUT A TO 1 INCH EXTRA BUMP/PROJECTION OF A VULNERABLE PLASTIC UNDER THE DRIVE SEAT CAUSED BRUISES TO THE CALF PART OF MY LEG. ATTACHED ARE THE PICTURES OF THE PART I EXPLAINED AND SLIGHT BRUISE TO MY LEG. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I GET INTO THIS BRUISE ON MY CALF, BUT SEVERAL TIMES. HOWEVER I AM CAREFUL, IT IS HURTING ME. I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOU FOR A POSSIBLE ACTION WITH NISSAN AND A REMEDY THAT WOULD HELP TO FIX THIS IN CURRENT VEHICLE AS WELL AS IN FUTURE VEHICLES.
2016 NISSAN ALTIMA ,CRUISE CONTROL ON, SPEED SET AT 65 TO 69 WHILE CRUISING WITH CRASH AVOIDANCE SET TO ONE BAR SPEED WILL SUDDENLY DROP TO 62 TO 65 . NO CARS NO WHERE NEAR FRONT OF VEHICLE OR ON ROAD WAY IN FRONT OF VEHICLE, ROAD WAY EMPTY WITH NO VEHICLES INSIGHT. HAVE TO STEP ON ACCELERATOR TO BRING VEHICLE BACK UP TO SPEED. TOOK CAR IN TO NISSAN, MECHANIC SAID HIS ALTIMA DOES SAME THING AND THAT THIS WAS NORMAL OPERATION OF CRUISE CONTROL. THIS CAUSES OTHER DRIVERS BEHIND MY VEHICLE TO BECOME ENRAGED AS I'M HOLDING UP TRAFFIC USUALLY PASS ME SOMETIMES CUTTING ME OFF FOR HOLDING UP TRAFFIC. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING ALL THE TIME WHEN USING CRUISE CONTROL SINCE 03/30/2016 TO PRESENT.
THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED IN 11 NOV OF 2016, THE DAY OF PURCHASE THE LEFT PASSENGER WINDOW WOULD NOT GO DOWN. THE NEW CAR WAS LEFT AT THE DEALER THE DAY OF PURCHASE FOR REPAIRS. THREE PLUS WEEKS LATER, AROUND 12/03/2016 I HAD TO CALL TO FIND OUT IF THE CAR HAD BEEN FIXED. NO COMMUNICATION FROM THE DEALER. THE CAR WAS PICKED UP AND USED AFTER REPAIRS. 03/MARCH 2017 WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD MY 11 YEAR OLD SON ROLLED THE LEFT PASSENGER WINDOW DOWN AND THE DOOR CAME OPEN WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY. I RESEARCHED THE RECALLS AND THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE RIGHT DOOR ONLY. RESEARCH NISSAN HAD NOT SENT TO THE DEALERSHIPS.(RECALL NUMBER, 17V-040, RECALL DATE 01/18/2017) NO NOTICE OF RECALL WAS EVER SENT TO ME NOR WAS THE DEALERSHIP AWARE OF THE RECALL. THE COPY I TOOK A COPY TO THEM WAS THEIR FIRST NOTICE OF A RECALL. I RECEIVED THE RECALL ON 3/16/2017I TRIED TO WORK THE BUYBACK PROCESS WITH NISSAN BUT THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL IN PLACE AND THEY WOULD NOT ENTERTAIN A BUYBACK. NO I'M STUCK WITH A VEHICLE I DO NOT TRUST AND

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP OR DECELERATE WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL OR WHILE ATTEMPTING TO DEACTIVATE THE CRUISE CONTROL. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO CRASH INTO A TRUCK. DURING THE CRASH, THE DRIVER SUSTAINED BACK, NECK AND FACIAL INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN AT THE SCENE. RECALL 16V244000 AIRBAG LIGHT STAYS ON WITH MY WIFE IN PASS SEAT ~ 50% OF TIME. BROUGHT TO DEALER THREE TIMES BUT NOT FIXED. NISSAN CS NO ASSISTANCE TO FIX. WORKS OK IN OTHER VEHICLES WHEN SHE IS IN PASS SEAT.
THE REAR VIEW CAMERA IS VERY BLURRY AND OUT OF FOCUS AT NIGHT ON THE 7 INCH DISPLAY. IT'S NOT TOTALLY CLEAR DURING DAY TIME EITHER. IT APPEARS TO BE THE SAME BAD QUALITY ON ALL ALTIMA'S I TRIED IT ON. ADJUSTING BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, AND COLOR DOES NOT HELP. THE CAMERA SHOULD FUNCTION WELL FOR SAFETY. I HAVE OTHER VEHICLES WITH REVERSE CAMERAS AND THEY WORK MUCH BETTER DAY AND NIGHT.

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET & APPROACHING A RED LIGHT, I HEARD A LOUD POP AS IF IT WAS A GUN SHOT!! I PULLED OVER & NOTICED THAT MY WINDSHIELD HAD A CRACK IN IT.

THE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RETRACT PROPERLY. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT SUSTAINED WHIPLASH TO THE NECK AND INJURIES TO THE LOWER BACK AND SHOULDER, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE FRONT PASSENGER SUSTAINED LOWER BACK INJURIES AND THE REAR PASSENGER SUSTAINED LOWER BACK INJURIES, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TOWED, BUT WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR THE BODY DAMAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,000.
"TAKATA RECALL" I HAVE A 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA THAT I HAVE OWNED ABOUT 6 MONTHS. THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS DO NOT CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD VERY WELL WHEN IT IS RAINING. IT IS VERY HARD TO SEE WHEN IT IS RAINING AND IT IS SCARY. I HAVE OWNED 2 OTHER NISSAN'S, A 2007 ALTIMA AND A 2011 ALTIMA AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE. IT SEEMS LIKE THE WIPER BLADE IS NOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE WINDSHIELD TO CLEAR IT PROPERLY. I MENTIONED IT AT THE DEALERSHIP AND THE SERVICEMAN SAID THEY HAVE HAD OTHER COMPLAINTS BUT NO RECALL. I ASKED IF HE THOUGHT IT WOULD HELP TO REPLACE THEM AND HE SAID THERE WAS NO GUARANTEE. WE WERE IN PANAMA CITY, FL LAST WEEKEND AND HAD OUR SON-IN-LAW AND GRANDCHILD WITH US AND IT STARTED POURING RAIN. WE COULD BARELY SEE, THEY WERE TRYING TO LOOK OUT THE SIDE WINDOWS TO SEE HOW TO STAY ON THE ROAD. IF THE WIPERS WOULD CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD PROPERLY THIS WOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE. WE WERE ALL SCARED TO DEATH. WE WERE BARELY MOVING AND WAS RIGHT AT OUR CONDO. IT WOULD BE NICE IF A RECALL COULD TAKE PLACE TO ADJUST OR REPAIR THIS ISSUE. AIRBAG SENSOR IS ACCORDING TO THE NISSAN DEALER ONLY ACTIVATING THE AIRBAG IF THE PASSENGER IS OVER 120LBS. MY WIFE IS UNDER THIS WEIGHT AND THE AIRBAG OFF LIGHT IS ON EVERY TIME WE DRIVE SOMEWHERE. NISSAN HAS TRIED TO PLAY IT OFF SAYING IT'S ACTUALLY SAFER FOR AN ADULT UNDER 120LBS TO HAVE THE AIRBAG OFF. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND I DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM IN MY VW OR MY MAZDA.
IT IS IN THE TRUNK. THE OFF-WHITE SEALANT USE EVERYWHERE IN THE TRUNK VISIBLE. IT IS UNDERNEATH THE TRUNK CARPET, UNDERNEATH THE RUBBER MAT. I FOUND THE SEALANT GOT MELTED CAUSING RUBBER TO BE MELTED. I BELIEVE WHEN TEMPERATURE IN TEXAS REACHED 110 DEGREE THAT'S WHEN IT HAPPENED. LUCKILY I SPOTTED BEFORE IT COULD HAVE CAUGHT FIRE. DEALER SAYS BODY SHOP WILL HAVE TO LOOK AT THE CAUSE AND GOD KNOWS IF THEY MAY HAVE TO CUT THE WHOLE TRUNK FROM INSIDE TO FIX IT. CAR IS STILL IN SERVICE FOR MORE THAN 7 DAYS.

THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF LIGHT CONTINUES TO COME ON WITH PASSENGERS IN THE SEAT AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. NISSAN HAS ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE AT LEAST FOUR TIMES WITHOUT SUCCESS. THERE IS ALSO AN NOTICEABLE VIBRATION IN OR NEAR THE DRIVE TRAIN WHEN EVER ENGINE IS OPERATING AT OR NEAR 1750 RPM THAT ALSO HAS NOT BEEN ELIMINATED.
MY 2016 NISSAN ALTIMA SR STALLS/LOSES POWER WHILE ACCELERATING, LIKE INTO TRAFFIC, OR WHILE SLOWING DOWN AND THE ACCELERATING AGAIN. I HAVE HAD IT TO THE DEALERSHIP BUT THEY CAN'T DETERMINE WHAT IS CAUSING THE ISSUE AND CAN'T DUPLICATE IT ON DEMAND. THIS HAS HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES SINCE I PURCHASED IT ON FEB 29, 2016 THE DEALERSHIP INSTALLED A NEW PART PERTAINING TO THE BRAKES WHICH CAUSE IT TO NOT ACCELERATE WHILE THE BRAKE IS APPLIED BUT THE PROBLEM HAS CONTINUED SINCE THAT WAS INSTALLED. THE ISSUE HAS ALWAYS SEEMED TO HAPPEN AFTER THE CAR HAS SET FOR AN EXTENDED TIME (WHILE I'M AT WORK, ETC) USUALLY AFTER IT HAPPENS IT WILL DRIVE AND FUNCTION AS NORMAL FOR SOME TIME. (PROBLEM WITH DUPLICATING IT BY THE DEALERSHIP) THE DEALERSHIP HAS MY CAR AT THE PRESENT TIME BUT PLANS TO RETURN IT TO ME WITHOUT SOLVING THE PROBLEM. MY FEAR IS THAT THIS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT IN THE FUTURE IF ITS NOT SOLVED.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, HOWEVER THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 898.

THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT THE DEALER DIAGNOSE AND REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000.
ON 5 SEPARATE OCCASIONS THE BATTERY IS DEAD. CAR WAS JUMP STARTED BY AAA ONE OCCASION THE DEALER SENT A TRUCK TO TOW IT TO THEIR SHOP. SERVICE DEPT. CAN NOT FIND ANY REASON THE BATTERY IS BEING DRAINED. EACH TIME THIS CAR WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY.
