I WAS DRIVING DOWN A MAIN ROADWAY WHEN THE BRAKE, VDC, ABS AND 4X4 LIGHTS ALL CAME ON. THE CAR ALSO STARTED MAKING A BONGING GRINDING AND VIBRATING WHEN I PRESSED THE BRAKES. I PULLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. I CHECKED TO SEE IF I COULD FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING SO I TURNED THE CAR BACK ON AND ALL THE LIGHTS WERE STILL ON BUT THE NOISE AND VIBRATING HAD STOPPED. I MADE IT HOME WITHOUT IT MAKING THE NOISE AGAIN. THE NEXT WEEKS WENT BY AND ALL THE LIGHTS ARE STILL ON AND IT MAKES THE NOISE AND VIBRATION EACH TIME I TURN THE CAR ON BUT AND I PRESSED THE BRAKES A FEW TIMES IT GOES AWAY EXPECT THE LIGHTS ARE ALWAYS ON NOW.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ARMADA. THE CONTACT NOTICED A LEAK FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE LEAK WAS DUE TO A TEMPORARY SEAL ON THE TRANSMISSION COOLER LINE, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT PERFORMED THE REPAIR HIMSELF; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 126,000.
BREAK WAS FIXED AS PART OF RECALL BUT NOW THE SAME PROBLEM REAPPEARED. THE DEALER SAYS FIX WAS ONE OFF AND NOW HAVE TO PAY FOR DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR. SPENT HOURS IN MANY DIFFERENT CALLS TO 1-800-NISSAN1. THEY ARE GIVING ME RUN AROUND AND NOT AUTHORIZING THE SAME DEALER TO REDO THE RECALLED COMPONENTS. TAKATA RECALL "ABS BRAKING SYSTEM ,ENTIRE SYSTEM FAILS THE BRAKE LIGHT AND ABS BRAKEL LIGHT, TICS LIGHT ALL COME ON INSTRUMENT PANEL,WHEN STEPPING ON BRAKE PEDAL, THEN A WIERD NOISE SOUND THEN BRAKE PEDAL SINKS TO FLOOR WITH THE BRAKES GRABBING AND LOCKING UP CAUSING TIRES TO LOCK AND SLIDE, THIS HAPPENS FREQUENTLY SOMETIMES TWICE IN THE SAME TIME ,THEN IT MIGHT GO WITHOUT OCCURRING FOR WEEKS OR MONTHS AT A TIME, THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS I JUST HAPPEN TO KNOW SOMEWHAT HOW TO DEAL WITH PROBLEM, AS I'M APPLYING BRAKES WHEN IT ALWAYS HAPPEN, BUT IF I WAS BRAKING HEAVILY AND IT HAPPEN NO WAY ,WOULD I NOT CRASH INTO WHAT EVER IN FRONT OF ME, IT ONLY HAPPENS WHILE TRUCK IS IN MOTION , AND DURING BRAKING.
DOESN'T MATTER THE SPEED OF THE VEHICLE, BRAKES TEND TO PRESS TO THE FLOOR, GRINDING NOISE AND THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THIS IS TO PULL OVER THE VEHICLE, TURN OFF THE IGNITION AND RESTART IT. IT RANDOMLY HAPPENS, BUT I AM VERY CONCERNED THAT IF AND WHEN I TOW OR AM ON THE HIGHWAY, I DON'T WON'T MY BRAKES TO NOT WORK. COULD KILL ME...I HAVE HAD AN ISSUE WITH BRAKES AND LIGHTS COMING ON THAT SAYS VDO ,ANTILOCK ETC: WHEN DRIVING THE SUV AT LOWER SPEEDS AND YOU TRY TO APPLY THE BRAKES THE WHOLE FRONT END STARTS SHAKING AND GRINDING AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP. I HAVE REPLACED BRAKES, ROTORS , WHEEL HUB BEARINGS AND STILL HAVE THIS PROBLEM. IT IS SCARY WHEN YOU CAN'T STOP A 7,000LB VEHICLE! I AM IN FEAR OF AN ACCIDENT . I HAVE READ OF OTHERS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. SOMETIMES WHEN RUNNING HYW SPEEDS A LOT OF LIGHTS COME ON AND DINGERS AND THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE I BOUGHT THE ARMADA. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT NISSAN IS GONNA DO ABOUT THIS PROBLEM CAUSE IT SEEMS I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THESE ISSUES. BY THE WAY THIS IS GOING ON SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE BACK ON 10/2006.
WE HAVE A 2004 NISSAN PATHFINDER ARMADA WITH UNDER 74,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. THE VEHICLE LOOKS LIKE IT IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE UNTIL IT IS PUT ON A LIFT. THE MAJOR CONTROL ARMS OF THE VEHICLE ARE SEVERELY RUSTED WHILE OTHER STEEL IN CLOSE PROXIMITY IS NOT. WE FOUND A RECALL FOR 1996-2004 NISSAN PATHFINDERS FOR THIS SAME ISSUE: 'CAMPAIGN ID #: R1107 'NHTSA #:11V-244 'APPLIED VEHICLES:1996-2004 PATHFINDER (R50) NISSAN NORTH AMERICAN TOLD US THAT THIS RECALL DOES NOT APPLY TO OUR VEHICLE. WE BELIEVE THAT THE COMPONENTS USED ON OUR VEHICLE WERE PROBABLY PRODUCED BY THE SAME MANUFACTURER AS THE RECALLED COMPONENTS AND THEREFORE HAVE THE SAME ISSUES. THE NISSAN REPRESENTATIVE THAT WE SPOKE WITH WOULD NEITHER CONFIRM NOR DENY THIS. ( MARIANA 615-725-5879) SHE COULD ONLY CONFIRM THAT THE RECALL DID NOT APPLY TO OUR NISSAN.
NISSAN ARMADA AIR FILTER HOUSING RECALL... OVER THE PASS COUPLE OF YEARS, I'VE NOTICE THAT OUR TRUCK WOULD SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. WE'D START IT BACK UP, AND CONTINUE DRIVING AND IT WOULD SHUT OFF AGAIN. AFTER CHECKING THE AIR FILTER UNDER THE HOOD, I DISCOVERED THAT IT WAS DIRTY. SO, I REPLACED THE FILTER AND IT WOULD BE GOOD. HOWEVER, AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS OF DRIVING IT WILL REPEAT THE SAME THING OF JUST SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING. RECENTLY, IT HAS BEEN SHUTTING DOWN MORE OFTEN. SO, AFTER SOME LOOKING UNDERNEATH THE HOOD, I WENT BACK TO THE AIR FILTER HOUSING BOX AND DISCOVERED THAT THE AIR FILTER HOUSING BOX DOES NOT SEAL PROPERLY. AS A RESULT OF THE AIR FILTER HOUSING NOT SEALING PROPERLY, AIR SEEPS IN THROWING OFF THE AIR TO GAS RATIO MIXTURE AND IT SHUTS DOWN THE ENGINE, TURNING OFF THE CAR IN THE MIDST OF DRIVING. I REPORTED THIS TOO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND THEY SUPPOSEDLY CLEANED THE AIR FILTER BOX AND SAID THAT SHOULD FIX IT. HOWEVER, AFTER LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP, MY TRUCK LITERALLY SHUT OFF ON ME WHILE DRIVING FIVE (5) TIMES. I THEN WENT BACK UNDER THE HOOD OF THE TRUCK, READJUSTED THE AIR FILTER HOUSING IN AN ATTEMPT TO SEAL IT TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY AND MY TRUCK DID NOT SHUT DOWN AT ALL. THIS IS DEFINITELY AN ISSUE THAT I BELIEVE NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT. I'VE TALKED TO OTHER NISSAN OWNERS THEY HAVE REPORTED THE SAME THING. I SINCERELY HOPE THAT SOMETHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS REAL SOON IN THE PICTURE THAT I HAVE ATTACHED TO THIS FILE, YOU CAN SEE THE ORANGE PIECE FROM THE FILTER THAT IS STICKING OUT FROM THE HOUSING. AGAIN, THROUGH DRIVING AND HITTING BUMPS IN THE ROAD, THE HOUSING SEPARATES AND ALLOW MORE AIR TO SEEP INTO HOUSING AND THE TRUCK SHUTS OFF. AGAIN, ONCE THE HOUSING IS FIXED IN PLACE AGAIN, THE TRUCK IS DRIVABLE UNTIL THE HOUSING SEPARATES AGAIN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ARMADA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED FAILURES WITH STARTING, VIOLENT VIBRATIONS, AND JERKING. IN ADDITION, AN ABNORMAL NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE VEHICLE AND THE BRAKES FAILED TO OPERATE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE AND TIPM WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS NEEDED TO BE RESET. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.
BRAKES, AT ABOUT 65MPH CAR SHAKES VIOLENTLY, TV IN THE MIDDLE SOUNDS LIKE ITS FALLING OUT, ENGINE TURNING OVER BUT NOT STARTING
BOUGHT A 2004 NISSAN ARMADA 08/08/2016 THE SECOND DAY I HAD TO GO TO THE DEALERS AND PAY CLOSE TO 4XX TO HAVE A COMPUTER HOOKED UP TO IT BECAUSE MY BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON AND DIDNT HAVE ANY BRAKES, IT THEN HAPPENED THE SECOND WEEK OF OWNING THE VEHICLE, CALLED NISSAN NORTH AMERICA AT FIRST I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE REIMBURSED AND MY PROBLEM FIXED THEN WAS TOLD ITS OUT OF WARRANTY. REGARDLESS IT WAS NOT MY FAULT NISSAN DOES NOT NO HOW TO MAKE VEHICLE OR FIX THERE FAULY PROBLEMS. THEN TODAY I WENT OUT TO START MY TRUCK AND IT WILL TURN OVER ALL DAY LONG BUT WILL NOT START, I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD AND WAS HEADING TO GET HIS MEDICATION WHICH CAN BE VERY SERIOUS IF HES WITHOUT, CONTACTED NNA YET AGAIN WITH NO LUCK. ON TOP OF THE LIST OF OTHER PROBLEMS IV HAD WITH THIS VEHICLE.
WAS IN A ACCIDENT ON 6/12/2016, HAD FRONT END DAMAGE, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. HONOLULU POLICE DEPT REPORT # 16-233155
MY FUEL GAUGE SHOWED 1/4 TANK OF GAS AND I RAN OUT OF FUEL ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AND STALLED OUT. I WAS IN FEAR FOR MY FAMILIES LIFE AND HAD MY WIFE STEER THE CAR WHILE I PUSHED IT OVER TO THE SHOULDER. A PASSER BYE IN A PICK UP HAD A CAN OF GAS AND IT WAS ENOUGH TO GET ME TO A GAS STATION. THERE IS A RECALL ON THE 2005 ARMADA FOR THE FUEL SENDING SENSOR BUT NOT ON THE 2004. THIS IS APPARENTLY A LOT OF 2004 ARMADAS THAT HAVE THIS SAFETY MALFUNCTION.
WHEN YOU'RE DRIVING, THE CAR SUDDENLY STOPS FOR 5 SECONDS THE BREAKS TO STOP IT CONSTANTLY NOT TO , ONE DAY WE WENT TO BIG BEAR AND STAR DOWN TO FAIL AND WE WILL NOT PUT MUCH ATTENTION AFTER WE ARRIIVED AND WE TRY TO TAKE TO NISSAN IN LOS ANGELES BUT NOW THE CAR IF YOU AR DRIVING THE CAR STOP OR YOU PUSH THE BREAK TO STOP AND DONT WORK TO STOP , IN THE FREWEEY NOT STOP THE BREAK FOR LITTLE DISTANCIE CRASH WENT THE OTHER CAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK IN THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD, BUT A REMEDY WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 154,000.
I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 30 MPH ON A CITY STREET AND STEP ON THE BRAKES WHEN APPROACHING A STOP SIGN. THE BRAKE PEDAL FELT REAL SOFT AND I COULD HEAR A GRINDING SOUND COMING FROM THE BRAKES AND THE ABS AND VDC LIGHTS CAME ON. I HAD TO PULL OFF THE ROAD, TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND ON AGAIN A COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE I COULD CONTINUE DRIVING. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MY WIFE AND I 13 TIMES.
DRIVE IN PARKING LOT WITH SLOW SPEED. RED BREAK LIGHT IS SUDDENLY ON THEN THE GRINDING SOUND IS OCCURRED. IF TRY TO TOUCH THE BREAK, YOU FEEL IT IS DIFFICULT TO RESPONSE. IT SEEMS THE BREAK IS ENGAGED. IT WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE ENGINE THEN TURN IT ON. THE RED "BREAK" LIGHT IS OFF THEN BACK TO NORMAL. NO ANY BEAK OIL LEAKING. GO GARAGE TO CHECK THE ODB2 CODE AND THERE IS NO ANY ERROR CODE FOR IT. IT SEEMS THE BREAK BOOSTER GETS MESSED UP AND NO CODE RECORDING FOR 2004 ARMADA. IT IS SAFETY ISSUE THAT THE BREAK WILL ENGAGE RANDOMLY. IT IS LUCKY THAT IT HAPPENS IN THE PARKING LOT WITH ALMOST STOP SPEED. IT WILL BE TERRIBLE WHEN IT HAPPEN IN THE HIGH WAY.
I HAVE A 2004 NISSAN ARMADA AND HAD THE BRAKE LIGHT COME ON YESTERDAY FOLLOWED BY THE LIMITED BRAKING, SHUTTERING AND PULSING OF THE BRAKE PEDAL.. THIS IS MY THIRD INCIDENT, IT HAPPEN IN YEAR 2014, 2015 AND APR 29 2016. AFTER TURN THE CAR OFF AND RESTART IT, THE BRAKE LIGHT GOES OFF THEN STOPS NORMALLY AGAIN. I HAVE BROUGHT MY ARMADA TO NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN COON RAPID MN. THEY CHARGED ME 130$ (DIAGNOSTIC FEE) AND NO PROBLEM SOLVED. AFTER RESEARCH ON INTERNET AFTER MY THIRD INCIDENT, I LEARNED THAT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM. THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION PENDING ON THIS ISSUES IN STATE OF CALIFORNIA. WHY NISSAN IS IGNORING THIS PROBLEM?. WE ARE SCARED TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE NOW, I HAVE SPENT 40K TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE BACK IN 2004. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN ARMADA. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THE BRAKE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND THE BRAKES MADE A GRINDING NOISE. THERE WAS A DECREASE IN STOPPING POWER WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE BOOSTER FAILED AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
ISSUE IS THE BRAKE BOOSTER AND DELTA SENSOR. TRUCK HAS 85000 MILES ON IT. THE BRAKES KEEP FAILING, AND YOU NEED TO PULL OVER, AND RESTART THE TRUCK TO GET GOING AGAIN, SOMETIMES SEVERAL TIMES. NISSAN HAS LOOKED AT IT, BUT WON'T DO ANYTHING UNLESS THEY WITNESS IT. OR THEY READ THE CODE.HOWEVER, WHEN YOU SHUT OFF THE ENGINE TO CLEAR BRAKES, AND IT CLEARS THE CODE. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION, AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.
WHILE DRIVING AND REACHING EITHER A STOP LIGHT OR STOP SIGN OR COMING TO A STOP WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THE PEDAL DEPRESSES TO THE FLOOR AND THE BRAKES GRIND IT WILL CONTINUE TO DO THAT UNTIL YOU TURN THE CAR OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON. IT HAS OCCURED SINCE THE PURCHASE OF THE VEHICLE OCT 2014.

FUEL GAUGE STOPS AT 1/4. VEHICLE RAN OUT OF GAS ON FREEWAY AND ENGINE STALLED.
BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE VEHICLE MAKES A GRINDING SOUND WHEN TRYING TO SLOW THE VEHICLE. BRAKING IS IMPAIRED. RESTARTING THE VEHICLE MAKES THE PROBLEM GO AWAY.
THE BRAKES WENT COMPLETELY TO THE FLOOR AND THE BRAKE LIGHTS CAME ON. HAD TO PUMP BRAKES WHILE BACKING OUT OF DRIVEWAY TO STOP. SHUT CAR OFF AND LET SIT. RESTARTED CAR AND BRAKE LIGHTS WENT OFF. WAS ABLE TO BRAKE AGAIN BUT BRAKES FELT SOFT. HAS BRAND NEW BRAKE PADS FROM APPROXIMATELY 2K MILES EARLIER. TOOK TO MAST BODY SHOT . PAID $90 FOR DIAGNOSTIC. C1179 CODE ERROR WAS LISTED IN MALFUNCTION FOR DELTA STROKE SENSATIONAL FAULT. RECOMMENDATION WAS TAKE TO NISSAN DEALERSHIP FOR POSSIBLE UPDATE IN SOFTWARE. MAST SERVICE 574_546 2155 DID NOT HAVE EXPERTISE TO FIX ISSUE. CODE WAS NOT CURRENTLY MALFUNCTIONING AT SERVICE CENTER. PROBABLY RESET WHEN RESTARTING VEHICLE BUT DIAGNOSTIC STILL HAD ERROR CODE IN MEMORY.
WE ARE HAVING A BRAKE ISSUE THAT IS VERY RANDOM. SO FAR IT HAS HAPPENED AT LOW SPEEDS. WHEN IT HAPPENS THE BREAK PEDAL WILL GET VERY SOFT AND THE ABS WILL ACTIVATE ALONG WITH THE BREAK LIGHT ON THE DASH. WHEN YOU TURN THE ARMADA OFF AND RESTART EVERYTHING RESETS AND IS NORMAL. WE HAVE ALREADY REPLACED THE BRAKE BOOSTER, MASTER CYLINDER, AND HAD THE COMPUTER REPROGRAMMED. THIS PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED BY NISSAN, ALL THEY SAY IS ALL THE PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND OR REPROGRAMMED SO UNLESS IT CAN BE DUPLICATED THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE. THIS IS VERY DISAPPOINTING THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE RELIABLE. WE ARE ALSO SURPRISED THAT THIS HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL BECAUSE OF SAFETY
MY ARMADA SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. WHEN IT DOES THE STEERING GOES AND THE BRAKES WON'T WORK. I BOUGHT GOT REAR ENDED TRYING TO GET OFF THE ROAD WHEN IT HAPPENED THE FIRST TIME. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM. I JUST GOT THIS ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO. I LOOKED UP AND SEEN RECALLS ON THIS PROBLEM BUT I PUT MY VIN NUMBER IN AND IT SAYS THERE IS NONE FOR MY CAR. IF IT HAS BEEN FIXED PRIOR TO MY OWNERSHIP THEN ITS WENT OUT AGAIN. AND AGAIN THATS NOT GOOD. THIS COULD GET SOMEONE KILLED! ESP IF I WAS DRIVING ON INTERSTATE. I COULDN'T GET OUT OF WAY OF TRAFFIC.

I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME RESEARCH AND LOOK LIKE THERE IS A LOT OF COMPLAINS REGARDING THIS ISSUE..PLEASE HELP IS MY WIFE AND KID DAILY TRUCK.

IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WOULD ONLY ACCELERATE AT LOW SPEEDS IN A JERKING MOTION UNTIL AFTER THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 319,000.
TRAVELING UP A SLIGHT HILL AT ABOUT 20 MPH THE VEHICLE STARTED LOSING POWER. THE ENGINE DIED RESULTING IN A LOSS OF POWER STEERING. I PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND SHUT OFF THE IGNITION. I HAD NO POWER AND NO POWER STEERING. AFTER ABOUT A MINUTE I TRIED AND SUCCESSFULLY STARTED THE VEHICLE. IT ATTEMPTED TO DIE AGAIN, BUT I REVVED THE ENGINE AND KEPT IT RUNNING. IT WAS FRIGHTENING TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF WE WERE ON A HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH AND LOST POWER. IN MY OPINION THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION. THANKFULLY THE INCIDENT WAS ON A COUNTY ROAD WITH NO TRAFFIC AS WE HAD TWO OF OUR GRANDCHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.
IT HAD A RECALL WHEN I WENT TO THE NISSAN THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ALREADY GOT THAT SERVICE IN OTHER DEALER BY THE FIRST OWNER. I TOLD THEM THE VEHICLE WAS DOING THE SAME THAT THE RECALL SAID AND THAT THE NISSAN TOLD ME TO GO THERE. SO THEY TOLD ME THEY CANT HELP ME BECAUSE MY TRUCK ALREADY GOT THE SERVICE. SO NOW IM AFRAID TO USE IT BECAUSE IS DANGEROUS AND NOBODY KNOW HOW TO HELP ME AND ALSO THE SCANNER DOESN'T GIVE US ANY TROUBLE CODE. IT ALSO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKE ITS LOOK LIKE ELECTRIC PROBLEM WHEN I SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE AND START IT AGAIN THE PROBLEM IS GONE. ABOUT THE OTHER PROBLEM IS THE SAME SIGNALS THAT SAY THE RECALL. AT FIRST I THOUGHT WAS THE FUEL PUMP BUT I REALIZE IT HAVE TO HAPPEN FREQUENTLY AND ISNT, THEM I REALIZE IT HAVE TO BE ELECTRIC PROBLEM BC THAT HAPPEN FIRST THEM THE BREAK ISSUE SO IM PRETTY SURE IS ELECTRICAL OR THE SUV COMPUTER.

I HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEM WITH 2004 NISSAN ARMADA' FUEL GAUGE, SIMILAR TO A RECALL. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEN NISSAN MOTOR USA. THEY SAID SINCE MY VIN IS NOT PART OF THIS RECALL AT THIS TIME I HAVE TO PAY $99 FOR THE DIAGNOSIS, AND THEN SEND REPORT TO NISSAN MOTORS FOR CONSIDERATION. THEY ARE REFUSING TO ADD MY VIN FOR THIS RECALL, AND TO HAVE THE DEALER CHECK FREE OF CHARGE AND FIX IF ISSUE IS SAME AS THE RECALL. *TR

I IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF THE TRUCK WHILE CRUISING AND TURN IT BACK ON WHILE CRUISING AND IT FIXES THE ISSUE AND I AM ABLE TO STOP FINE. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN BEFORE AND THEY FAILED TO HELP ME. THROUGH HUNDREDS OF POSTS OF ARMADA OWNER WITH THE SAME ISSUE IT SEEM TO BE THE BRAKE BOOSTER IN WHICH AN BE UP TO 1500$ TO FIX. I CANNOT AFFORD THIS FIX AND IT SEEM THAT IT SHOULD BE A RECALL. YESTERDAY I LEFT THE PARKING LOT AFTER WORK AND AFTER DRIVING FOR A FEW MINUTES I NOTICED THAT THE PARKING BRAKE LIGHT WAS ON. THE PARKING BRAKE WAS IN THE UP POSITION AND THE CAR WAS IN DRIVE. IT WAS A NOTICEABLE GRINDING NOISE AS WELL. SO I CONTINUED ON SLOWLY(35MPH) UNTIL I REACHED A POINT THAT I COULD STOP. I CHECKED TO SEE IF MAYBE I HAD LEAKING BRAKE FLUID. I SAW NOTHING COMING FROM UNDER THE CAR. I STOPPED THE CAR IN ORDER TO DO THIS. WELL ONCE I GOT BACK IN AND STARTED THE VEHICLE THE LIGHT WAS OFF AND THE BRAKES WERE WORKING AS IF NOTHING HAD HAPPENED. I AM CONCERNED BECAUSE I SEE BLOGS WHERE PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME. WHAT I DIDN'T SEE WAS A RECALL OR ANY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THE ARMADA HAS A MALFUNCTION OF SOME SORT WITH THE BRAKING SYSTEM. I HAVE BEEN READING ABOUT ANYTHING I CAN FIND THAT IDENTIFIES THE PART OR PROBLEM. SO FAR NOTHING...I WILL BE TAKING MY ARMADA TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET A DIAGNOSTIC JUST TO SEE WHAT IF ANY CODE WILL MATCH MY DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENTS YESTERDAY.
