Earlier in the year the brake light (some times with slip and ABS) came on the dash and suddenly braking was diminished. There was a horrid grinding sound plus vibration under the pedal. I was on highway 17 (a dangerous mountain freeway in CA) going downhill and it was extremely scary as has a car full of friends kids and hardly any brakes. I braked as much as it would allow, down shifted and pulled to the side (which again if you google that highway people die all the time from idiot drivers/speeders/tight corners). I instinctively turned off the car and got out to check off something had gotten caught in my wheel but nothing. I turned the car on and the problem had gone so drove to the nearest garage but he couldn't find anything wrong. I called Nissan but they said they knew of no problems with breaking systems on the Armada and said to bring it in and pay for an expensive diagnosis. When I got home I googled it and found 100s of similar experiences with all sorts of repairs at Nissan that hadn't worked. Some say brake booster, others sensor, other reset or upgrade hardware. Not one actually fix so far but I did find a couple of lawsuits for the same reason so don't understand how this is not a recall. The second time I was in town so it wasn't too bad but hard to stop at the crossing for a pedestrian and today it went again going back up the mountain but luckily don't need to brake much going in that direction. If it can't be fixed and it involves brakes then surely this is a serious safety violation. I also noticed that others are having a similar problem with newer Armadas with a newly upgraded braking system from Nissan and another lawsuit is on file. How is this being ignored? My car is 20 and I was looking into another Nissan but if they don't stand by and honor their mistakes then I really have no faith in them
Breaks suddenly went out and I couldn't stop. I had our kids in the car.
Once in awhile when the brakes are applied there is a loud sound that sounds like ache large can being crushed, and the brakes don't work properly. The car sort of lurches to a stop rather than coming to a smooth stop. If the engine is shut off and turned back on nine times out of 10 the brakes will begin to work again but occasionally it takes a few times of restarting the vehicle. I contacted Nissan and they said that they would contact me back and they had a lawyer call me who really just wanted to interrogate me more than offer any kind of solutions or answers. I was able to look up online and see that there is or was a class action lawsuit and that it's a known problem with many Nissan armadas being the master solenoid. This seems to be a continuing safety issue and if someone were to have to come to a quick stop there's no warning that this is going to happen beforehand and would negate any kind of safety stop. This has been going on for many years and is extremely expensive to fix. Which puts it right out for most families to be able to afford fixing this and just having to lope along hoping that it isn't one of those times when the brakes are going to give out in an emergency. Given that Nissan contacted me with a lawyer shows me that they are afraid of what could happen but not yet concerned enough that enough people have died for it to be worth their while cost-wise.
Brakes. Went out with no warning For second time
The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to slow the vehicle, the contact heard an abnormal sound emanating from the brake pads, requiring increased effort to slow the vehicle. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The ABS warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
The contact owed a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed fire and smoke coming from the front passenger side underneath the glove compartment area. The contact stopped and parked the vehicle. The contact exited the vehicle and noticed the vehicle was on fire. The fire department arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire. A fire report was filed. There were no injuries sustained. The vehicle was left on the shoulder of the road. The contact stated the local police authorities later placed a sticker on the disabled burned vehicle because it was left on the shoulder of the road and had to be removed. The contact stated that the vehicle was junked. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,100.
While driving the brake light came on and when I attempted to stop pedal goes almost to the floor and loud grinding noise is heard. I was able to barely stop the vehicle, I then shut off the vehicle, checked around the vehicle as well as engine compartment not finding any noticeable issue. Restarted the vehicle and brake light was off able to stop with no issue and no grinding noise was heard. Mentioned this to dealer when it was brought in for oil change and they indicated that there was no notice of a recall for this issue. They checked the vehicle and could not find any issues. This has happened several more times where brake light goes on, issue with trying to stop and loud grinding noise. The remedy seems to be to get the vehicle stopped, barely, shut off the vehicle, wait for a short moment and then restart the vehicle. This is very concerning if this happens when needing to make an immediate stop as it takes a bit to get the vehicle to stop when this occurs. Nothing in particular is being done while driving to cause this to happen and I have not been able to replicate.
Several times when driving, my brake light will come on and when pressing the brake, it does not engage. When you press on the pedal you hear a loud grinding sound. It does not slow down the vehicle at all and the grinding is loud and seems to be damaging internal parts. When you turn the engine off, and restart it the problem goes away. I have read so many similar issues with 2006 nissan armada about the brake light. How is this not a safety recall especially when I’m on the freeway driving 65 MPH and all of a sudden brake light comes on! I have to pull over safely and hard to do especially when the brake does not engage at all when the light is on. This is a huge safety concern for me due to the fact that I never know when this is going to happen again. What if it happens while I need to come to a quick emergency stop?! This is a major safety concern that needs to be looked into!!
I was driving on the road and my brake light came on and my brakes failed. As I tried to stop my brakes made a grinding spring noise. I turned the car off and after about 3 minutes I restarted and everything was fine. I continue to drive and less than 10 minutes later it did it again. I have went online to look for information and I see that there was a lawsuit about the booster Delta sensor. I called Nissan and they denied this, and I went to the Nissan dealership and they will check it out because they have not seen any recalls on my vehicle for this problem yet online there's a whole lot of customer complaints about this model doing the exact same thing. The contact owned a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated while driving approximately 20 MPH and approaching a stop sign, the contact became aware of smoke and then fire coming from underneath the hood. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact and passenger exited the vehicle safely. The contact stated that she had minor hip pain but did not seek medical attention. The contact stated that the Fire Department arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire but not before the vehicle was destroyed. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number 10V517000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) and 08V284000 (Equipment) for which the VIN was included. The approximate failure mileage was 182,000.
The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, the brakes warning light illuminated. The brake pedal was depressed and made an abnormal metal-on-metal sound. The contact slowed down, veered to the side of the road, and restarted the vehicle however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The mechanic retrieved a delta stroke error code however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 230,815.
The airbag light has been on for a while indicating that there is a defect in the airbags . The brakes light comes on randomly and the car brakes on its own without me applying the brakes and that is very dangerous especially on the highway and the transmission light comes on showing the 4x4 light as on for no reason and I would have it on just the 2 wheels
I WAS TRAVELING AT LOW SPEED AND STEP ON THE BRAKES AND HEAR A TERRIBLE GRINDING SOUND COMING FROM THE BRAKES IN ADDITION TO A SPRING LIKE SOUND AND A SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN BRAKING POWER. THE BRAKE LIGHTS CAME ON. THIS CONTINUES UNTIL I PULL OFF THE ROAD AND SHUT OFF THE ENGINE AND THEN START IT BACK UP AND THE BRAKES WORK FINE. THE NEXT DAY, WHILE EXITING THE HIGHWAY...BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON, LITTLE OR NO BRAKING POWER AND A SHUDDER IN THE BREAKS. AND THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN AS I PULL UP TO THE DRIVEWAY TO PARK MY ARMADA. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND I REALLY HOPE THAT NISSAN WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS ISSUE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN ARMADA. WHILE DECELERATING FROM 70 MPH, THE BRAKES FAILED TO ENGAGE. THE CONTACT CONTINUED TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL WITH FORCE UNTIL THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM ENGAGED. THE CONTACT VEERED TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AND TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE. ONCE IT WAS RESTARTED, THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED SEVERAL TIMES. BANISTER NISSAN OF CHESAPEAKE (930 N BATTLEFIELD BLVD, CHESAPEAKE, VA 23320, (757) 214-6342) WAS CONTACTED TO SCHEDULE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT A FAILURE CODE COULD NOT BE LOCATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.
THE EMERGENCY AND IMPORTANCE TO RECALL MY VEHICLE WHICH IS A 06 NISSAN ARMADA AND I'M SURE THERE IS PLENTY MORE OUT THERE. THE ISSUE IS THAT MY BRAKES WILL NOT ENGAGE OUT OF NOWHERE. THEY WILL STOP WORKING AND IT FEELS AS IF THE BRAKES ARE LOCKING AND GRINDING . THIS HAPPENS WHEN GOING DOWN HILL , THE MOST DANGEROUS TIMES IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME IS DRIVING WHILE IN THE FREEWAY.
ENGINE STALLS. WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE STALLS. THIS CONTINUES TO OCCUR WHEN COASTING, ACELLERATING OR BRAKING AND CAUSES DANGER AS I WAS UNABLE TO SAFELY PULL OVER FROM THE LEFT AND MIDDLE LANE OF TRAFFIC, OR ON THE FREEWAY. OCCURS WHILE DRIVING STRAIGHT. RESEARCH SHOWS A FAULTY ECM WITH SILICONE DIOXIDE BUILD UP ON THE ECM SENSOR CONTACT INSIDE THE IPDM. BRAKES FAILURE ( SUDDENLY BRAKE LIGHT ON ) "I WAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK AND A CAR CUT ME OFF,BRAKE LIGHTS CAME ON, I STEPPED ON MY BRAKES AND THE BRAKES WENT DOWN TO THE FLOOR AND I HEARD AND FELT A GRINDING NOISE. I IMMEDIATELY DROVE OUT THE WAY AND THANK GOD THERE WAS NO VEHICLES PARKED IN THE AREA I HAD TURNED INTO. THEN AFTER THAT I DID TURN OFF THE VEHICLE THEN TURN IT ON AND EVERYTHING WORS GOOD BUT ANYWAY DRIVING WITH A LOT CONCERNING THAT MIGHT BE HAPPEN AGAIN. FOR SEVERAL MONTH NOW OFF AND ON WHILE I'M DRIVING THE TRUCK MAKES A LOUD NOISE, STEERING WHEEL SHAKES THEN I HEARD A SPRING NOISE. IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE THE TRUCK IS GOING TO FALL APART. THIS IS MY SECOND TIME WITH BRAKE FAILURE DUE TO A FAULTY BRAKE BOOSTER. THE FIRST TIME IN 2011 AND NOW IN 2018. BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON AND GRINDING NOISE WITH VERY LITTLE BRAKE PRESSURE. TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP BRAKE BOOSTER REPLACED $982. MY QUESTION IS DID THEY REPLACE DEFECTIVE PARTS WITH UPGRADE. IT IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE THAT TO ME NISSAN IS IGNORING TILL THERE IS A FATAL ACCIDENT. DEALER STATES DELTA SENSOR FAULTY.
ON MONDAY WHILE I WAS DRIVING MY DAUGHTER, SISTER, NIECE AND NEPHEW TO SCHOOL I NOTICED THAT THE AIR BAG LIGHT WAS FLASHING. AT THE TIME I ASSUMED IT WAS THE SEAT BELT LIGHT SO I HAD EVERYONE CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THEIR BELTS WERE BUCKLED. AFTER REALIZING THAT EVERYONE WAS BUCKLED I ASKED MY SISTER TO GOOGLE SEARCH WHAT THE LIGHT MEANT. COME TO FIND OUT THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE AIR BAGS IN THIS VEHICLE, I DROVE TO MY FATHERS HOUSE AND HE HOOKED UP HIS CODE READER AND WE FOUND TWO CODES ONE WAS B1182 AND B1023. B1182 IS FOR THE AIR BAG SYSTEM AND THE B1023 WAS FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG SAYING THAT IT IS INOPERABLE.
MY HUSBAND PURCHASED AN 06 NISSAN ARMADA. WHILE HE WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY HE WENT TO SLOW DOWN AND THE BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND MADE A WEIRD GRINDING NOISE. HE PULLED OVER AND SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF. WAS WAITING FOR A TOW TRUCK TO ARRIVE. AFTER HE RESTARTED IT, IT DROVE FINE. TOOK IT TO NISSAN THEMSELVES AND THEY FOUND NOTHING BUT RECOMMENDED A BRAKE BOOSTER. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES TO US. AGAIN JUST RECENTLY, I WAS WITH MY DAUGHTER IN THE VEHICLE AND HAD TO RUN THROUGH A RED LIGHT BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO STOP.THE EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON BUT THE BRAKE WAS NOT ENGAGED. THERE WAS A LOUD GRINDING NOISE AS IF I NEEDED ROTORS. I LET THE VEHICLE SLOW DOWN AND I PULLED OVER IN A SAFE AREA AND SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF. AFTER RESTARTING IT AFTER 5 MINS THE VEHICLE DROVE FINE. I HAD MY FATHER HOOK HIS CODE READER UP AND WE CAME UP WITH A CODE C1179 WHICH IS A DELTA STROKE SENSOR. RESEARCHED THE CODE AND FOUND THAT NISSAN HAD MULTIPLE LAWSUITS FOR THIS ISSUE BUT NEVER ISSUED A RECALL FOR IT. I CONTACTED NISSAN THEMSELVES ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND THE GENTLEMAN THAT I SPOKE TO AT NISSAN TOLD ME THAT SINCE MY VEHICLE WAS NOT BUILT IN A CERTAIN FACTORY THEY WOULD NOT FIX THE ISSUE AND THAT HIS SUGGESTION WAS THAT IF I HAD A GOOD REPOIRE WITH THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP CLOSE TO ME THEY MAY BE ABLE TO HELP ME WITH THE COST. THE LAWSUIT NEVER SPECIFIED A CERTAIN FACTORY THE VEHICLES CAME OUT OF. IT STATED 2004-2008 NISSAN TITAN AND ARMADA OR INFINITY QX56. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT NISSAN IS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE, HAS BEEN SUED NOT ONCE BUT MULTIPLE TIMES AND IS STILL REFUSING TO DEAL WITH THE ISSUE.
MY VEHICLE IS HAVING A COMPLETE BRAKE FAILURE. THIS IS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES SINCE I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THERE IS NO RECALLS ON THIS ISSUE. AS I'M DRIVING MY BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON AND I LOSE ALL CONTROL OF BREAKING. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES WHILE I'VE BEEN ON 95 WITH MY TWO KIDS IN THE CAR. I'VE HAD MY BRAKES AND ROTORS REPLACED THINKING THAT WAS THE ISSUE AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN WHEN I WAS ON 95 I LOSE ALL CONTROL OF STOPPING THE BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON AND I CANNOT STOP MY VEHICLE. I LOOKED UP THIS ISSUE ONLINE AND THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THIS ISSUE. I HOPE THIS GETS RESOLVED BECAUSE I WILL NEVER BUY A NISSAN VEHICLE EVER AGAIN.
THE BRAKES FAIL WHEN BRAKE SENSOR TURNS ON PERIODICALLY WHILE CAR IS IN MOTION. THIS HAPPENS WITHOUT WARNING. THE ONLY WAY TO RESOLVE THIS IS TO TURN OFF THE CAR. I HAVE BEEN IN MANY NEAR ACCIDENTS BECAUSE OF THIS MANUFACTURING DEFECT THAT MANY OWNERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT.
ISSUE WITH ABS ENGAGING AT INAPPROPRIATE TIMES AT LOW SPEEDS CREATING AN INABILITY TO BRAKE. MY WIFE DROVE THROUGH A STOP SIGN WITH ALL 4 OF MY KIDS THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED AND LUCKED OUT. IT JUST HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY. AT A SPEED OF ONLY 4 MILES PER HOUR, I NOTICED THE BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON, I DROVE THROUGH THE GREEN LIGHT, ONLY ACCELERATING ENOUGH TO GET TO A SIDE ROAD. WHEN I TRIED TO BRAKE, THERE WAS A CRUNCHING/GRINDING NOISE FROM UNDER THE HOOD. AFTER THE FIRST TIME THIS OCCURRED TO MY WIFE, I REPLACED THE BRAKE BOOSTER (HELL OF A JOB) AND I INSTALLED NEW ROTORS AND PADS ALL THE WAY AROUND AS THE BRAKE BOOSTER WAS TOLD TO BE THE ISSUE AFTER NISSAN WAS SUED FOR THE PROBLEM AS IT GREW. IT STILL NEVER BECAME A TSB AND I HAVE A HALF TON DEATH TRAP IN MY DRIVEWAY.
INTERMITTENTLY, AND FOR NO APPARENT REASON, THE BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION. THIS CAUSES GREATLY DIMINISHED BRAKING POWER (IT FEELS LIKE A VACUUM HAS RELEASED AND IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO STOP). THE ONLY WAY TO RECTIFY THIS IS TO STOP AND TURN THE CAR OFF COMPLETELY AND THEN RESTART IT. THIS IS OK ON CITY STREETS BUT IS VERY SCARY ON THE HIGHWAY. I HAVE HAD A NISSAN DEALER LOOK AT IT MULTIPLE TIMES BUT SINCE THE CAR CHECKS OUT MECHANICALLY AND THEY CANNOT RECREATE THE SITUATION, THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY THIS HAPPENS.
WHEN TRYING TO STOP THE ABS BRAKES ENGAGE AND THE CAR IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP. I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE LOOKED AT AND DIFFERENT PARTS CHANGED BUT THE PROBLEM KEEPS COMING BACK. I HAD THE BRAKES CHANGED, BRAKE BOOSTER AND CLOCK SPRING CHANGED. THE VDC AND SLIP LIGHTS WILL RANDOMLY COME ON AND THE ABS ENGAGES WHILE DRIVING. ALMOST CAUSED A WRECK THE OTHER DAY BUT I WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER AROUND VEHICLES AND THEN STOP. THIS ALSO HAPPENED BACK IN 2011 WITH THIS SAME VEHICLE WE HAD THE BRAKE BOOSTER CHANGED AND THE PROBLEM WENT AWAY UNTIL NOW. THE BRAKE BOOSTER WAS EVALUATED AND SCANNED AND CHECKED OUT OK. LAST TIME IT COST $1,000 DOLLARS TO FIX IT, BUT IS NOW A PROBLEM AGAIN.

DELAND NISSAN IN DELAND, FLORIDA WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE BRAKE BOOSTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.
BRAKE LIGHT CAME ONE AND TRIED TO STOP BUT A LOUD SOUND CAME FROM THE BRAKES LIKE A GRINDING SOUND. THE BRAKES PADS ARE GOOD BUT SOUNDS LIKE A BRAKE BOOSTER PROBLEM. I COULD BARELY STOP TO AVOID WRECKING INTO SOMEONE ELSE.
MY VEHICLE WAS ACTING COMPLETELY NORMAL NO DASH LIGHTS UNTIL I WENT TO STOP AT A STOP LIGHT THATS WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES TO COME TO A STOP MY BREAKES WERE SOFT GRINDING NOISE AND DID NOT WANT TO STOP. I LOOK AT THE DASH AND THE BREAK LIGHT WAS ON I PULLED TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD PUT IN THE PARKING BREAK AND RELEASED IT. STILL SAME ISSUE. TURNED THE TRUCK OFF THEN BACK ON AND NOW IS WORKING COMPLETELY NORMAL AGAIN. AFTER DOING RESEARCH THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM ON THE NISSAN ARMADAS AND TITANS. IT IS FOUND TO BE A FAULTY BREAK BOOSTER AND SENSOR. I HAD 2 OF MY CHILDREN WITH ME. IT WAS A FRIGHTENING EXPERIENCE NOT KNOWING IF I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO STOP MY VEHICLE. NISSAN NEEDS THIS BOOSTER TO BE RECALLED. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WARNING THAT YOU MAY LOOSE YOUR BREAKS.
BRAKE FAILURE. I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS MANY. BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON AND ALL OF SUDDEN NO BRAKES AND LOUD NOISES. THIS HAS HAPPENED FOR A FEW YEARS AND HAVE RECEIVED NO HELP FROM NISSAN DEALER. ONCE I RESTART VEHICLE, IT WORKS LIKE NORMAL.
THE REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM LINKS WERE COMPLETELY RUSTED OUT AND WAS ALMOST READY TO BREAK UP. IF NOT FOUND BY THE MECHANIC, THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS.
IT IS BEEPING WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. IT'S COMING FROM THE TAIL GATE.
I WAS IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC WHEN A GRINDING/SPRINGY SOUND CAME OUT FROM UNDER AND THE :BRAKE" LIGHT CAME ON. I HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE BRAKE PEDAL, IT WOULD GO ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR BUT WOULD NOT STOP, LUCKILY I WAS ON A FLAT ROAD SO IT DIDN'T MOVE FORWARD OR BACKWARDS. I WAS STILL ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR TO A SAFE SPOT AND USED MY EMERGENCY BRAKES TO GET THERE. IF I WERE GOING AT A HIGH SPEED, I DON'T KNOW WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. YOU CAN REPLACE A CAR, BUT YOU CAN'T REPLACE A PERSON. I HAVE AN 8 MONTH OLD BABY WHO NEEDS ME. MY BROTHER IN LAW IS A MECHANIC FOR ALL TYPES OF CARS AND HAS BEEN FOR YEARS, HE TOLD ME THIS IS A WELL KNOWN PROBLEM WITH ARMADAS (04-07). MINE IS AN 06. AT THIS POINT I HAVE TO KEEP TURNING OFF MY CAR AND BACK ON TO RESTART SOME COMPUTER? I AM NOT GOOD WITH CARS. SUNROOF EXPLODED IN CARWASH. EXPLOSION WAS SO VIOLENT IT BENT THE FRAMING AROUND SUNROOF. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE DRYING PORTION OF THE CARWASH. THE CARWASH HAS INCIDENT ON VIDEOTAPE BUT HAS NOT ALLOWED ME TO VIEW IT AS OF THIS CORRESPONDENCE. THE SUNROOF HAD NO DAMAGE PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT. TEMP OUTSIDE WAS APPROX 25 DEGREES AND THE HEATER WAS ON INSIDE THE VEHICLE WHICH MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE INCIDENT.

ALSO SAID TO REPORT IT SINCE IT IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. FEELS LIKE THE BRAKES ARE BOUNCING ON THE ROTORS AND BARLEY STOPPING THE CAR. WHILE WAITING FOR THE LIGHT TO TURN GREEN FEELS LIKE CAR IS STILL TRYING TO GO FORWARD WHILE BRAKES ARE BOUNCING ON THE ROTORS.

ON THE DATE OF JULY 12, 2017 I WAS ON THE FREEWAY ON MY WAY TO WORK. TRAFFIC WAS MODERATE. AS I ATTEMPTED TO BRAKE I NOTICED IT MADE SPRINGY GRINDING SOUND, AND THE BRAKES DID NOT FUNCTION AS WELL. I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE RED BRAKE LIGHT INDICATOR WAS ON. IN A SAFE AND DESPERATE MANNER, I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER TO SHOULDER AND PUT MY VEHICLE ON PARK. AFTER I PLACED MY VEHICLE ON PARK, I TURNED IT OFF AND TURNED OFF, THEN I TURNED IT BACK ON. ONCE I TURNED IT BACK ON, I NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHT WAS NO LONGER ON AND THE BRAKES WERE WORKING FINE. ON JULY 13, 2017, WHILE TRAVELING WITH MY WIFE AND KIDS TO DISNEYLAND, I EXPERIENCED THE SAME INCIDENT AGAIN. AS I ATTEMPTED TO BRAKE, THE BRAKES MADE A LOUD SPRINGY GRINDING SOUND. IN ADDITION THE BRAKES DID NOT FUNCTION AS WELL AND THE BRAKE LIGHT WAS ON. THIS TIME I WAS NOT ABLE TO PULL OVER TO SHOULDER DUE TO HEAVY TRAFFIC. I HAD TO ACTIVATE MY EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND TURN OFF AND TURN ON MY VEHICLE IN THE MIDDLE LANE. PLEASE ADHERE TO THIS MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN IMMEDIATELY. THANK YOU
"TAKATA RECALL" SO I HAVE A 2006 NISSAN ARMADA THAT JUST RECENTLY HAD THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CHANGE OUT FOR CRACK MANIFOLD AND IT HASNT BEEN A YEAR YET AND ALREADY HAVE ANOTHER CRACK MANIFOLD. NISSAN REALLY NEED FIX THIS ISSUE BECAUSE NO ONE HAS THAT KINDA OF MONEY TO BE BUYING NEW EXHAUST MANIFOLD EVERY YEAR FOR EMISSION.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY MY BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON. WHEN I EXITED THE HIGHWAY I TRIED TO APPLY MY BRAKES I HAD VERY LITTLE BRAKES. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COOLING LINE FAILURE. OUR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COOLING LINE SPRUNG A LEAK WITHOUT WARNING AND NO IGNITION LIGHTS TURNING ON. THE END RESULT IS THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH ONLINE, I FOUND OUT THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH NISSAN ARMADA 2006 TRANSMISSION COOLING LINES. THE LINE HAD A WEAK SPOT IN IT THAT SPLIT OPEN AND SPRAYED ALL THE ATF OUT. THIS OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING BACK THROUGH OUR TOWN AT ABOUT 35 MPH.

WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN FOR NISSAN TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE THAT IS GOING ON WITH SEVERAL TRUCKS. I DON'T LIKE THE FEELING OF DRIVING AND CANNOT STOP OR FEEL AS IF I AM GOING TO HIT SOMEONE I HAVE CHILDREN AND I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT WITH THEM OR ANYONE ELSE WITHIN THE TRUCK BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE.
