JUST BOUGHT CAR 2 MONTHS PRIOR TO INCIDENT. STARTED HAVING TROUBLE ACCELERATING AFTER A STOP LIGHT. FOOT WAS DOWN TO THE GROUND AND CAR WOULDNT MOVE. CALLED NISSAN AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE CVT TRANSMISSION SO THE WARRANTY WAS EXTENDED TO 10 YEARS OR 120,000 MILES. SINCE MY CAR IS A 2003 THE RECALL WAS EXPIRED. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SAFETY MATTER, HOW CAN THIS EXPIRE! IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED BUT NISSAN WAS NO HELP! SEEMS THAT I NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION BUT CAN'T EVEN GET THE CAR TO GO MORE THAN 10MPH NOW AND IT IS STUCK AT DEALER! I AM STILL TRYING TO SAVE MONEY FOR THE TRANSMISSION THREE MONTHS LATER AND DEALING WITH HAVING TO PAY OVER $400 MONTHLY INCLUDING INSURANCE FOR A CAR I AM NOT EVEN USING!
WHILE DRIVING WITH THE SPEED OF 25 MPH THE CAR STARTED LOOSING CONTROL. I WAS ABLE TO STOP AND OBSERVED THAT THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL STARTED SEPARATING FROM THE FRAME. THIS WAS BECAUSE ENGINE CRADLE GOT RUSTED AN CRACKED. THE LOWER ARM SEPARATED. THE DEFECT IS DOCUMENTED BY THE DEALER. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUES AS THAT COULD HAPPEN ON THE HIGHWAYS AT HIGH SPEED CHASING SERIOUS ACCIDENT. I AM THE FIST OWNER OF THE CAR. I BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW AND THE WAS GARAGED. *TR
BOUGHT THIS CAR AND PAID THE FIRST PAYMENT ON IT. TWO WEEKS LATER WAS HAVING ISSUES AND IT TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC. ENDED UP BEING MY TRANSFER CASE. MY MECHANIC SAID HE WAS ABLE TO PULL IT DOWN BY HAND THAT WAS HOW BAD IT WAS. I HAVE PUT LESS THAN A 1,000 MILES ON THIS NEW FROM NISSAN TRANSFER CASE AND IT IS BUNNY HOPPING AND GOING BAD. YOU CAN PRESS THE ACCELERATOR TO THE FLOOR AND IT GOES NOWHERE THEN BOLTS FORWARD. UNSAFE TO DRIVE. MY MECHANIC CALLED NISSAN AND NISSAN STATES THEY HAVE NEVER HEAD OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS. REALLY?!?!?!?!?! THEY TOLD MY MECHANIC WHEN HE PURCHASED IT THAT IT WAS THE NEWLY DESIGNED TRANSFER CASE SAME DESIGN AS THE 2005 AND SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. YET THEY CLAIM THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE ISSUE. WHY WOULD YOU REBUILD SOMETHING IF IT WAS FINE AND HAD NO ISSUES. ANYWAYS, THE PART HAS A 12/12,000 WARRANTY ON IT, BUT I HAVE TO AGAIN PAY FOR THE LABOR WHICH IS $1800... IT HAS BEEN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS...WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR LABOR AGAIN! KEEP GETTING A CODE STATING THAT IT NEEDS A CRANK SHAFT SENSOR. I ALSO HAVE REPLACED TWO OF THEM @ $100 A POP! THIS IS CRAP AND NISSAN NEEDS TO FIX IT. THIS DANGEROUS AND WILL LEAD TO FATALITIES.

THE CAR STALLS AFTER APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES OF RUNNING/DRIVING. IT HAPPENED TWICE IN ONE DAY. THAT MORNING I STARTED THE CAR, IT WARMED UP FOR 5 MINUTES, DROVE 15 MILES TO WORK, IT STALLED AS I PULLED IN TO THE PARKING LOT. IT RESTARTED BUT WAS SLOW TO DO SO. THE CAR SAT FOR 5.5 HOURS WHILE AT WORK. I STARTED THE CAR WITHOUT WARMING UP, DROVE 20 MILES, IT STALLED A BLOCK BEFORE MY HOME. IT RESTARTED SAME AS EARLIER THAT DAY. I LET THE CAR SIT FOR A WEEK, HAD THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR REPLACED YESTERDAY. TODAY, STARTED THE CAR, LET IT SIT IN THE DRIVEWAY. AFTER 30 MINUTES IT STOPPED RUNNING. IT WILL RESTART BUT TAKES A FEW SECONDS. *TR
AS I WAS COMING OUT OF A TUNNEL DRIVING NORMALLY AT 55 MPH, MY MURANO JOLTED AND SURGED IT'S RPM INTO THE RED. THIS WAS VERY DANGEROUS AS I WAS DRIVING WITH MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. AFTER GOING ONLINE AND SEEING THAT MANY OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT NISSAN HAS NOT CONDUCTED A RECALL ON THE CVT TRANSMISSION. I CALLED NISSAN CANADA TODAY AND GOT NO WHERE. THEY EXTENDED THE WARRANTY TO 10 YEARS OR 200 KM. WHICH MY CAR NOW AT 158K AND 2014 DO NOT APPLY. THIS IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS AS NISSAN IS AWARE OF THIS FAULTY PROBLEM AND IS JUST WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO GET KILLED. SHE SAID IT WASN'T NISSAN WHO MAKES THE RULES ON RECALLS BUT THE NHTSA. THE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER LINK WHICH HOLDS THE SUSPENSION TO THE CAR ROTTED OFF AND CAUSED THE SUSPENSION TO FAIL. THE REMAINING METAL IS SEVERELY ROOTED OR PERFORATED. THERE ARE SEVERAL 2003 MURANOS ON THE ROAD. MINE IS ALWAYS GARAGED AND I HAVE KEPT IT WELL MAINTAINED SINCE NEW. NISSANUSA WAS CALLED AND THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO FIX OR PAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I SURELY WOULD THINK THIS CAR COULD GO FOR SEVERAL MORE YEARS BEFORE ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. THE ENTIRE CAR HAS NO RUST ANYWHERE ON IT, SO WHY DID THE REAR SUSPENSION FAIL? I AM WONDERING IF IN THE EARLY 2000'S IF THIS METAL THAT WAS USED WAS SOME OF THE BATCH THAT MADE THEM RECALL AND REPLACE A LARGE NUMBER OF PICKUP TRUCKS TOO. COMING OFF EXIT RAMP, STOPPED AND TURNED LEFT, WAS GOING AROUND 25 MPH WHEN THE CAR SURGED FORWARD, ACCELERATED, RPM SHOT UP. I HAD TO SLAM ON THE BRAKES AND PUT THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL. THE CAR THEN SLOWED AND BEGAN DRIVING NORMALLY. A WEEK LATER, MY WIFE AND I WERE ON THE INTERSTATE GOING AROUND 60 MPH WHEN THE CAR SLOWED DOWN AS THOUGH IT WAS PUT INTO A LOW GEAR. WE COULD ONLY GET IT TO GO NO MORE THAT 35 MPH. WE PULLED OFF ON THE SHOULDER AND PARKED. THE CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN. HAD TO TOW IT. ABOUT A MONTH LATER, I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE GOING AROUND 65 WHEN THE SAME THING HAPPENED AS BEFORE, IT WENT INTO A LOWER GEAR, LOWERING MY SPEED TO AROUND 30 MPH WHICH CAUSED ME TO ALMOST GET HIT FROM BEHIND. HAD IT BEEN A LARGE TRUCK IT MOST LIKELY WOULD HAVE HIT ME. I PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND PULLED OFF TO THE SHOULDER. WHEN I PULLED OUT AGAIN, IT DROVE AT A NORMAL RATE OF SPEED. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND THEY CLAIMED THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. THE INTERNET IS FULL OF COMPLAINTS FROM MURANO OWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS AND STATING THAT LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIPS CANNOT FIND THE PROBLEM AND IF THEY DO ANYTHING, THEY CHANGE OUT THE TRANSMISSION AT A COST TO THE OWNER. I JUST PURCHASED MY MURANO A FEW MONTHS AGO IN SEPTEMBER OF 2014 FROM A SMALL LOT. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. TWICE WE COULD HAVE VERY EASILY BEEN HIT FROM BEHIND. SINCE THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT'S BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE FIRST 2003 MURANOS, I FEEL NISSAN SHOULD ORDER A RECALL AND FIX THIS SAFETY ISSUE BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED. *JS

I WAS DRIVING LOW SPEED AT SCHOOL ZONE WHEN DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON. THERE WAS NO IMPACT, COLLISION OR ACCIDENT IN ANY WAY. TO MY OWN AMUSEMENT THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT AIR BAGS DEPLOY LIKE THIS. BOTH CASES ARE VERY SIMILAR IF NOT EXACTLY THE SAME (DRIVING AT LOW SPEED AND... POOF!). I LIVE IN THE TROPICS WHERE IT'S HOT AND HUMID. I'VE HEARD SOME CARS ARE BEING RECALLED FOR THIS BUT OF COURSE, NOT MINE. I ASKED NISSAN IF I SHOULD WORRY ABOUT THESE AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY BECAUSE AS I MENTIONED BEFORE BOTH CURTAINS AND SEATS WERE DEPLOYED THE SAME WAY, AND THEY TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY BECAUSE SENSOR WAS ALREADY "OFF" AND THERE WAS NO WAY THIS COULD HAPPEN. I BROUGHT MY CAR IN TO MY MECHANIC FOR ROUTINE SERVICE AND HE TOLD ME THE CAR WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE REAR SUB FRAME WAS ROTTED OUT ON BOTH SIDES OF MY CAR. I WAS TOLD IT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND THEREFOR I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED. *TR
WHILE DRIVING ON A CURVY, GRAVEL ROAD I HAD JUST COME OUT OF A LEFT SIDED CURVE. THE VEHICLE STARTED SPINNING COUNTER CLOCKWISE TOWARDS A DITCH. I IMMEDIATELY STARTED TURNING MY WHEEL CLOCKWISE TO COMPENSATE AND REGAIN CONTROL. MY LEFT REAR TIRE LOST AIR WHICH I BELIEVE WAS THE REASON I COULD NOT REGAIN CONTROL. I ENDED UP IN A DITCH ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE PROBLEM IN HAND WAS THAT THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY, HOWEVER THE PASSENGER SIDE DID DEPLOY. HAD THE AIRBAG DEPLOYED AS IT SHOULD HAVE, I WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL VIA AMBULANCE. DUE TO THE MALFUNCTION OF THE AIRBAG MY DAUGHTER HIT THE STEERING WHEEL WHERE BY CRACKING HER 1ST AND 2ND RIB, RECEIVED A HEAD CONCUSSION, THORACIC BACK PAID, CERVICAL STRAIN-WHIPLASH, CHEST WALL CONTUSION,CONTUSIONS IN BOTH KNEES, INTRA-ABDOMINAL HEMATOMA'S AND HAS SUFFERED GREATLY. I HAVE NOTIFIED NISSAN AND THEY ARE UNWILLING TO ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR A FAULTY PRODUCT. IS THERE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO ASSIST? SINCERELY, *TR

THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT WHILE TRAVELING AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED, A LOUD NOISE EMITTED FROM THE FRONT PASSENGERS SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WHENEVER GOING OVER A BUMP. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THERE WAS AN UNSTABLE VIBRATION WHEN TRAVELING OVER 60 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE BOLT WAS BROKEN ON THE FRONT PASSENGERS SIDE A-ARM AND WAS FRACTURED FROM THE FRAME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,000.
THE LOCK HANDLE ON THE DRIVER'S DOOR CAME OUT OF THE DOOR. NO PRIOR WARNING, ETC. COMPLETE FAILURE & DOES NO OPEN CAR ANYMORE. EXCESSIVE & COUNTLESS SIMILAR INCIDENTS ON MURANO OWNER SITES & NISSAN SITES. DEALER SAYS $800 TO REPAIR! SAFETY ISSUE AS TO KEEPING CAR LOCKED, ETC. *TR
I JUST PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON 7/15/14, DROVE IT HOME AND IT WOULD NOT START 7/16/14. I WAS ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE STARTED, BUT THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT CAME ON AND IT SHUT OFF 2 MORE TIMES WHILE PARKED. I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET IT STARTED AND RUNNING TO GO ABOUT MY ERRANDS. I STOPPED TO PICK SOMEONE UP FROM THE HOSPITAL AND IT STARTED UP, BUT IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF AGAIN. EVENTUALLY, IT STARTED BUCKING AND SHUDDERING WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND SEEMED AS IF IT WAS GOING TO SHUT OFF. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO THE DEALER I PURCHASED IT FROM AND HE IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY OF GETTING IT SERVICED. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS THE REAR CAM POSITION SENSOR WENT BAD. I CALLED HALDEMANN NISSAN IN HAMILTON, NJ TO INQUIRE ABOUT RECALLS, AS I KNEW THIS WAS A RECALL ISSUE AND WAS TOLD THAT MY VIN NUMBER HAD NO RECALLS. *TR

THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE AND THERE WAS A SUDDEN INCREASE IN ENGINE RPMS. ALSO, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD SUDDENLY ENGAGE INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE REVERSING, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT AFTER ASSISTANCE FROM AN EYEWITNESS WITH JUMPER CABLES; HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR FAILED DUE TO A BURNED WIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 05V319000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL SENSOR INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE FUEL PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE FUEL TANK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V003000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 66,000.

THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, THERE WAS A CLANKING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSE THAT THE TRANSFER CASE AND THE CRANK CAM SENSOR WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,000.
I PURCHASED THIS CAR FROM A DEALER AS A USED VEHICLE IN SEPTEMBER 2013. AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS I BEGAN TO NOTICE A VERY SERIOUS TRANSMISSION PROBLEM. ALL OF THE SUDDEN WHEN DRIVING THE CAR DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE GAS PEDAL AND THEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE VEHICLE WILL LURCH FORWARD. THIS HAS BEEN SCARY AND UNSAFE WHEN DRIVING IN HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS AND I HAVE RUN THE RISK OF REAR ENDING ANOTHER VEHICLE. OTHER TIMES IT HAS BEEN AN EXTREME SAFETY HAZARD WHEN ENTERING TRAFFIC THAT IS TRAVELING AT A HIGHER SPEED AND YOU HAVE TO SPEED UP TO MERGE. IF YOUR CAR DOES NOT MOVE WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE GAS PEDAL OTHERS CAN CRASH INTO YOU. THE INTAKE AIR DUCTS, WHICH ARE CONNECTED TO THE INTERMEDIATE RESONATOR IN THE AIR INTAKE SYSTEM OF THE ENGINE, MAY SEPARATE FROM THE RESONATOR WITH ENGINE MOVEMENT. THIS SEPARATION OCCURS DUE TO THE PREMATURE AGING OF THE MATERIAL USED IN THE INTAKE AIR DUCTS WHICH CAUSES EXCESSIVE SHRINKING, AND BECAUSE OF THAT ENGINE MAY STALL INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. MY WIFE WAS DRIVING DOWN OUR ROAD WHEN THE TRANSFER CASE ON HER 2003 NISSAN MURANO LOCKED UP AND LOCKED THE BACK WHEELS SPINNING HER INTO THE DITCH AND SIGN POST. SHE WASN'T HURT. I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH ON THE PROBLEM, AND IT TURNS OUT THAT NISSAN KNOWS THERE WAS DEFECTIVE TRANNY AND TRANSFER CASES ON THE 03, AND 04 MURANOS. THEY EVEN ISSUED T.S.B.S TO THE DEALERS ABOUT THE DEFECT. MY QUESTION IS, WHY THEY AREN'T BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM? WHY NO RECALL? ISN'T YOUR JOB TO MAKE THE AUTO MAKERS MAKE A SAFE PRODUCT AND WHEN THEY DON'T, CALL THEM ON THEIR FAULTS. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE ALOT OF NISSAN OWNERS LIKE MYSELF THAT ARE GETTING NOWHERE WITH NISSAN. OUR DOMESTIC AUTO MAKERS HAVE TO LIVE WITH RECALLS, WHY NOT NISSAN? *TR
THE NISSAN DEALER TOLD US IN JANUARY THAT THERE WAS A FLUID PRESSURE DROP AND WANTED TO REPLACE SEALS FOR AROUND $1,700. IN FEBRUARY THE DEALER TOLD US THE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED FOR $1,700 PLUS RESETTING THE TCM FOR ANOTHER $300. I BELIEVE NISSAN KNOWS FULL WELL THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS DESIGN AND THEY NEED TO ISSUE A RECALL TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 NISSAN MURANO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE AIR INTAKE MANIFOLD. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED THE FAILURE RECURRED. NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 03V455000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) COULD BE RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,000. *TR
I CLIMBED INTO MY VEHICLE (1003 NISSAN MURANO) AFTER WORK. AS SOON AS I SAT DOWN I HEARD A LOUD METALLIC POP AND THE SEAT SANK DOWN ON THE LEFT SIDE. I REMOVED THE SIDE COVER OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND FOUND THAT A REAR SUPPORT BAR OF THE SEAT FRAME HAD BROKEN IN TWO PLACES. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND NOT RUNNING WHEN THIS HAPPENED. *TR

PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE IN 2012, USED- BAG AN HAVING ISSUES IMMEDIATELY, INCLUDING , NO HEAT, STALLING, WINDOWS ROLLING DOWN ON THEIR OWN IN WINTER- RETURNED IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY KEPT FOR 1 WEEK, SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG EXCEPT THE FUEL PUMP. WE REPLACED IT AND TROUBLE CONTINUED. CONTACTED NISSAN AND THEY SAID TO TAKE TO DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC, A CERTIFIED NISSAN MECHANIC NOW LOOKING IT OVER AND CLAIMS THERE IS NOTHING WRONG, WE HAVE THROWN SO MUCH MONEY INTO TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK. OVERHEATS AND CAN NOT CLIMB EVEN THE SMALLEST OF INCLINE WITHOUT OVERHEATING, THE NISSAN COMPANY WANTS US YO PAY FOR ALL THE TESTING THEY REQUIRE, WE HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR A VEHICLE THAT IS NOT DRIVABLE OR RELIABLE IN ANY WAY- AFTER 4 YEARS THERE IS STILL NO ANSWERS AS TO WHY IT WILL NOT RUN PROPERLY, SO DISAPPOINTING YO PURCHASE A VEHICLE THAT LOOKS GOOD AND IS COMFORTABLE, AND HAS BECOME A LAWN ORNAMENT THAT STILL HAS A LARGE BALANCE TO PAY- DOES NISSAN PRODUCE THINGS THEY WALK AWAY FROM LAUGHING AT THE CONSUMERS FOR PURCHASING A NON REPUTABLE VEHICLE. SO AGGRAVATING TO BE TOLD IT IS OUR PROBLEM, FEEL AS THOUGH I COULD HAVE GONE TO THE JUNKYARD AND PURCHASED A WRECKED VEHICLE AND HAD BETTER RESULTS, WE JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO DEPEND ON A VEHICLE WE PURCHASED WITHOUT THE RUN AROUND. SOUNDS LIKE THEY MADE A PROBLEM CAR FROM THE OTHER COMMENTS ON HOW OTHERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUES, WITHOUT ANY ANSWERS. THE UNEXPECTED STALLING AND OVERHEATING AND NO PRODUCTION OF HEAT IN THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN ISSUE SINCE PURCHASING IN 2012 TO NOW 2016, JUST WOULD LIKE SOME SORT OF ANSWERS.
WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC THE ENGINE ON MY 2003 NISSAN MURANO STOPPED, THANKFULLY I WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER CAR TO SAFETY, ANOTHER TIME WAITING FOR TRAIN TO CROSS APPROXIMATELY WAITING 12 MINUTES IN DRIVE AND IDLING, ENGINE SHUT ITSELF OFF, WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH AND MAKING LEFT HAND TURN CAR STALLED AGAIN ALMOST RESULTING IN ANOTHER VEHICLE TO HIT MY VEHICLE- CALLED NISSAN AND THEY SAID THAT THE RECALLS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED FOR MY VEHICLE I THEN ASKED NISSAN IS IT DANGEROUS FOR ENGINE TO QUIT WHILE IN MOTION SHE EXPRESSED THAT SHE WAS SORRY FOR THAT TO HAVE HAPPENED- WHAT IF I WERE HIT WHOSE FAULT IS IT TO BE HIT IF YOUR CAR HAS DECIDED TO NOT RUN AT THAT MOMENT?THIS SAME OCCURRENCE HAS HAPPENED OVER AGAIN AND SINCE I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE IT HAS HAD NO HEAT- RESULTING AS TO BEING AN EXPENSIVE SUMMER ONLY VEHICLE REALLY STINKS HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT TROUBLE AND NO ONE HELPS- IS AT DEALER RIGHT NOW AND IS SAYING CAM SENSOR, HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME TO FIX SOMETHING THAT HASN'T BEEN RIGHT SINCE PURCHASE OF THIS NISSAN 2003 MURANO?
