BEEN HAVING MAJOR ISSUES WITH THE POWER OF THE VEHICLE. IT'S LIKE SHAKING AND NOT ACCELERATING LIKE IT SHOULD BE.
The rear subframe of my 2007 Nissan Murano was rotted and broken and had to be replaced! Vehicle has been repaired for $1800.00.
ROARING IN FRONT WHEELS WHEN CAR WAS IN MOTION AND HAD TO REPLACE BOTH STRUTS ON THE FRONT (JAN 2019). RECENTLY, REPLACED VACUUM SENSOR DUE TO A LIGHT THAT CAME TO CHECK SYSTEM (APRIL 2019)
I NOTICED THE CAR HANDLED VERY POORLY IN SNOW/ICE/WET CONDITIONS OVER THE WINTER. THE CAR WAS IN THE SHOP FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND THE MECHANIC NOTICED BOTH REAR TIRES WERE WORN DOWN TO NOTHING ON THE INSIDE OF THE TIRE. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, HE FOUND THAT THE REAR SUBFRAME HAD RUSTED THROUGH AND BROKEN INTO TWO. THE VEHICLE WAS DECLARED UNSAFE TO DRIVE. I BOUGHT THE CAR USED THIS PAST SUMMER, BUT I HAVE THE SERVICE RECORDS AND I KNOW IT WAS PROPERLY MAINTAINED. THE ESTIMATED COST OF REPAIRS IS MORE THAN I CAN AFFORD ($5,000). I CONTACTED NISSAN TO SEE IF THEY WOULD PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIRS AND I SPOKE WITH 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE (FIRST CONSUMER AFFAIRS, THEN A SUPERVISOR, AND FINALLY A MANAGER), WHO ALL TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE "NOT IN A POSITION TO ASSIST BECAUSE THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY". THE LAST PERSON (MANAGER, CONSUMER AFFAIRS) WOULDN'T EVEN LET ME SPEAK BEFORE HE TOLD ME THEY WOULDN'T OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. WHEN I ASKED IF THERE WAS SOMEONE ELSE I COULD SPEAK WITH, I WAS TOLD NO - THERE ISN'T ANYONE ELSE WHO WOULD TALK TO ME AND THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST ME. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND I AM FORTUNATE THAT BOTH OF THE TIRES DID NOT BLOW OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE EXPRESSWAY. I AM SHOCKED THAT THERE HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL ISSUED AS I SEE OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE.
THE ENGINE STALLED AND RESTARTED WHILE IDLING PARKED IN A PARKING SPOT.
THE DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR DOES NOT STAY IN PLACE AND KEEPS COMING DOWN WHICH BLOCKS THE VISIBILITY AND MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE THE ROAD AND THE CARS IN FRONT
TAKATA RECALL THE ENGINE IN MY 2007 NISSAN MURANO STALLS AT ONE POINT IT SHUT IFF ON ME WHILE DRIVING MY SON TO SCHOOL. THE AIR BAG LIGHT IS BLINKG SO THERE A PEOBLEM WITH THE AIR BAG THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE SPEED CONTROL THE VEHICLE SLOWS DOWN AND IT WILL NOT PASS 60
TAKATA RECALL WAS INFORMED BY MECHANIC THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH AIR BAGS AND THEY NEED TO BE CHECKED OUT CAN BE DANGEROUS. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR SLOWS DOWN ON ITS OWN ON HIGWAY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT PROPERLY ACCELERATE WHEN DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO REV VERY HIGHLY BEFORE THE VEHICLE ABRUPTLY ACCELERATED AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER (NELSON NISSAN, 800 W. QUEENS ST, BROKEN ARROW, OK) WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 129,000.
REAR SUB-FRAME (K-FRAME) RUSTED AND SNAPPED IN HALF WHILE DRIVING. 174,000 MILES ON THE CAR. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL. NISSAN HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL.
AIRBAG LIGHT LIT CONSTANTLY, OTHER INDICATOR LIGHTS, BRAKE, VOLTAGE, INTERMMITENTLY GO ON THEN OFF. POWER WINDOWS OPEN BY THEMSELVES WHEN THE CAR IS PARKED AND LOCKED.
TAKATA RECALL MULTIPLE TIMES THE CAR WHILE IN MOTION WANTS TO CUT OFF OR WON'T DRIVE. I WAS DRIVING AND IT WASN'T WANTING TO DRIVE. I PULLED INTO A PARKING LOT TO MY RIGHT. THEN AS I ENTERED THE PARKING LOT THE CAR TURNED OFF COMPLETELY BY ITSELF AND I COULDN'T USE MY BREAKS OR STEERING WHEEL. I ENDED UP RUNNING IT INTO A CURB TO BE ABLE TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. I HAVE READ THAT THERE IS A RECALL ON 2005-2007 NISSAN. I LOOKED UP MY VIN NUMBER TO SEE IF THERE WAS A RECALL AND IT SAYS THERE WAS NOT A RECALL ON MY VECHILE BUT OTHER NISSAN OWNERS HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE A BABY AND DON'T NEED MY NISSAN SHUTTING OFF AND CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WHILE I HAVE MY BABY IN THE CAR.
NOTICED A CHANGE THE HANDLING OF THE VEHICLE OVER LITTLE BUMPS AND IN WET CONDITIONS, ALSO HAD EXCESSIVE WEAR TO THE INNER SIDES OF BOTH REAR TIRES. DISCOVERED THAT THE SUBFRAME HAD COMPLETELY ROTTED AWAY IN SOME SECTIONS AND OTHERS SECTIONS WERE PAPER THIN.
DRIVERS SEAT FRAME BROKE WHILE DRIVING MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE VEHICLE SAFELY! INCIDENT HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE ON STREET MAKING A TURN!
THE VEHICLE STALLS WHILE DRIVING, I HAVE HAD SEVERAL RECENT TIMES WHEN I AM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THE CAR COMPLETELY DIES AND YOU LOSE ALL POWER, VERY UNSAFE AS POWER STEERING IS LOST. I HAVE READ THIS ONLINE WHERE OTHER OWNERS HAVE THIS ISSUE SO THERE HAS TO BE A DEFECT IN THE VEHICLE. I HAVE CHECKED THE BATTERY, CABLES, REPLACED SENSORS, AND FUEL PUMP SO THIS HAS TO BE SOMETHING ELSE. MY CAR IS A 2007 MURANO SL WITH 150,000 MILES.
I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS MURANOS WITH THE FRAMES RUSTED COMPLETELY THROUGH. NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATE AND NISSAN SHOULD CORRECT THIS. THEY'RE ASKING SO MUCH FOR VEHICALS .
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE 4WD AND ABS INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE LEFT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE SUBFRAME WAS RUSTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 111,000. *TT CONSUMER STATED DEALER REFUSED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE SUBFRAME WHICH IS ROTTED. SERVICE MANAGER STATED IT SHOUOLD NOT HAVE ROTTED.*JB
DRIVING ON A SLICK HIGHWAY THE REAREND OF THE MURANO WAS FISHTAILING. THE REAR SUSPENSION WAS MAKING NOISES, AND THE STEERING WHEEL WAS SUDDENLY WAY OFF CENTER. I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL MECHANIC TO INSPECT. IT WAS NOTED THE THE REAR SWAYBAR HAD SEPARATED FROM THE REAR CROSSMEMBER /SUBFRAME AND THE SUBFRAME WAS RUSTED AND CRACKED AND RUSTED THROUGH TO FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED UNSAFE TO DRIVE, AND WAS TOLD TO IMMEDIATELY STOP DRIVING IT. THE REAR WHEELS WERE TILTED OUTWARD AND A BIG SAFETY HAZARD. SUBFRAME NEAR TOTAL SEPARATION FROM VEHICLE. MURANO IS NOW A TOTAL LOSS. COST TO REPAIR TOO EXTENSIVE.

THE CONTACT DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND STATED THAT THE REAR SUBFRAME NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000. *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SEAT WAS NOT SECURED AND WOULD ROCK AND MOVE WHILE THE DRIVER WAS SEATED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
THE TRANSMISSION IS SHOT AT 115, 000 MILES! JUST DIED ON THE INTERSTATE. MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AND SUDDENLY CAR DIED, SHE BARELY COULD GET CAR ON SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. TOOK CAR TO OUR NISSAN MECHANIC AND HE SAID THIS YEAR WAS KNOWN FOR BAD TRANSMISSIONS.
I WAS TOLD THAT THE REAR OF THE CAR COULDN'T BE ALIGNED.. AFTER LOOKING FOR MYSELF DISCOVERED THAT THE SUBFRAME WAS TOTALLY ROTTED. THE CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN AND I AM SCREWED. THIS SHOULD BE FIXED BY NISSAN. THIS IS NOT A SMALL DEFECT. THIS CAN KILL PEOPLE. THE CAR IS STRUCTURALLY UNSAFE AND GOD ONLY KNOWS HOW LONG IT HAS BEEN LIKE THAT.
REAR SUB FRAME IS RUSTED OUT VERY DANGEROUS

WHILE THE TIRES WERE BEING REPLACED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENTIRE SUBFRAME OF THE VEHICLE WAS RUSTED OUT AND THE VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN AGAIN. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 154,615.
CONTINUOUS VELOCITY TRANSMISSION INHERENTLY DEFECTIVE. IT MAKES A GRINDING NOISE AT ALL SPEEDS, LACKS ACCELERATION NEEDED TO MERGE SAFELY, SHUTTERS AND DIES UNDER ACCELERATION. ALSO OVERHEATS.
THE SEAT BRACKET BROKE. REALLY A SEAT BRACKET THAT BREAKS FROM FATIGUE OF ENTERING AND LEAVING THE VEHICLE?!? SAFETY CONCERN SUN VISOR NO LONGER HOLDS ITS POSITION DUE TO PLASTIC THAT WEARS OUT. SAFETY ISSUE. TRANSMISSION FAILURE AT JUST OVER 100,000 MILES. REPORTS ALL OVER THE WEB ABOUT THIS. SO COMMON, AND SO EXPENSIVE. MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. NISSAN HAS DONE NOTHING TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES THAT ARE SO COMMON WITH ALL OF THESE MODELS. IT IS NOT JUST ME, THERE IS REPORT AFTER REPORT ON THE WEB. ALL THE SAME ISSUES.
TRANSMISSION IS SHOT. WILL NOT SHIFT. TOOK TO NISSAN DEALER QUOTED 4300 TO FIX. CAR HAS 117,000 MILES ON IT. NISSAN CONSUMER DEPT OPENED CASE AND DENIED IT WITHIN 24 HRS SAID DUE TO BEING OUT OF THE WARRANTLY YEARLY EVEN THOUGH ITS UNDER THE 120000 OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY
TAKATA RECALL: WE BOUGHT OUR NISSAN MURANO (2007) 16 MONTHS AGO. IT HAS BARELY 100K MILES ON IT AND THE ENGINE IS BURNING OIL CONSTANTLY. MY HUSBAND IS ADDING OIL TO IT EVERY OTHER DAY. PLUS THE TRANSMISSION IS RATTLING CONSTANTLY WHEN PRESSING THE GAS AND THE CAR HAS STALLED AT LEAST 5 TIMES SINCE WE'VE HAD IT, ONE TIME ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. WE HAVE YOUNG KIDS AND THIS IS OUR FAMILY CAR AND I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING IT.

IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE THREADS ON BOTH REAR TIRES WERE COMPLETELY GONE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENTLY MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SUBFRAME WAS RUSTED AND CAUSED THE TIRES TO LOSE THREADING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MECHANIC CONTACTED AN UNKNOWN NISSAN DEALER WHO ADVISED THE CONTACT TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO WARRANTIES ON THE VEHICLE AND THE TIRES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 197,000. *TR *JS*DT*JB
"NISSAN MURANO" DRIVERS SEAT LEFT SIDE SEAT MOUNT BRACKET THAT MOUNTS TO FLOOR BOARDS CRACKED AND COMPLETELY BROKE CAUSING ME TO SWERVE INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC. A HEAD ON COLLISION WAS CLOSELY AVOIDED. I CONTACTED KEN (XXXX) NISSAN IN MEDINA OHIO AND THEY SAID THAT NISSAN MOTORS WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE AND WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. THIS ISSUE I FEEK IS AN OBVIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND THE VEHICLE SHOUD BE RECALLED. I HAS THE SEAT WELDED SO IT WOULD WORK AGAIN BUT THE WELD EVENTUALLY FAILED. SEAT IS NOW BROKE.
NOTICED WHEN DRIVING ON THE ROAD WITH SLIGHT SNOW, VEHICLE STARTED FISH TAILING WHENEVER ACCELERATING OVER 30MPH. WENT TO THE NEAREST GAS STATION AND NOTICED REAR TIRES WERE TILTED IN. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, WHEN VEHICLE WAS LIFTED, THERE WAS SEVERE RUST ON THE SUBFRAME AND CRACKED. UPON LEAVING THE SHOP, IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE REAR TIRE WAS TILTED IN FURTHER AND MUFFLER WAS SIGNIFICANTLY DROPPED. UNABLE TO DRIVE VEHICLE DUE TO SUBFRAME COLLAPSING DUE TO RUST. VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED AT T&W TIRES. DRIVING ON CITY STREETS IN SIOUX CITY, IA WHEN THE FISH TAILING WAS OCCURRING.
THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY IN A MAJOR ACCIDENT INVOLVING TOTALING THE ENTIRE CAR. THE PASSENGER AIRBAG DEPLOYED, BUT NOT THE DRIVER AIRBAG. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND INVOLVED IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION, GOING 70 MILES PER HOUR.
I WAS PULLING OUT OF A GAS STATION WHEN A FRIEND POINTED OUT THAT THE MUFFLER/EXHAUST PIPES OF VEHICLE WERE HANGING VERY LOW TO THE GROUND. MECHANIC INSPECTED IT AND REAR SUBFRAME RUSTED THROUGH AND BROKEN. THE REAR WHEELS ARE WORN ON THE INSIDE AND ARE MISALIGNED. THEY ARE TILTING IN TOWARDS EACH OTHER. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED UNSAFE TO DRIVE. I CONTACTED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOT A RECALL AND THAT I WOULD NEED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THEM LOOK AT IT AND FOR THE REPAIR. I WAS GIVEN A CASE # AND ASKED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF OWNERSHIP. I RECENTLY PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM A FAMILY MEMBER. AS THE CAR WAS INOPERABLE I HAD AAA TOW IT TO THE NEAREST NISSAN DEALERSHIP. THE DEALER QUOTED ME AN ESTIMATE REPAIR COST OF $5,279; PARTS AND LABOR.
I HAD TO REPLACE MY ALTENATOR 3 TIMES. I BOUGHT THE CAR 2 YEARS AGO AT 90,000 MILES. WHEN IT FIRST WENT OUT, I BOUGHT ONE FROM AUTOZONE, THEN 4 MONTHS LATER IS WENT OUT. I HAD A WARRANTY THRU AUTOZONE ON THE PARTS SO THE PART WAS REPLACED BUT I HAD TO COVER THE LABOR COST. 2 MONTHS LATER THE ALTENATOR REPLACE IT AGAIN BUT I WANTED LABOR COST COVERERD THIS TIME. THEY AGREED TO COVER THE PART AND LABOR. THERE MUST BE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS. I VE READ OTHER OWNERS OF THE SAME CAR HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. IF NISSAN DOESN'T FIX THIS FOR FREE, I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER OF THEIR CARS BECAUSE I CAN'T BELIEVE MULTIPLE TIMES. I HAD TWO DIFFERENT MECHANIC SO IT NOT THE PERSON, IT'S THE CAR, I BELIEVE SO. THE OTHER PROBLEM I'VE HAD IT THAT THE AIR DUCK INTAKE HOSE KEEPS DISCONNECTING, IT WILL CAUSE MY CAR TO MISS FILE AND RUN VERY RUFF, LIKE POOR PERFORMANCE. IT CAN MAKE THE CAR SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING OR AT A STOP SIGN.
WAS CONCERN ABOUT THE SEAT IT GOES,UP BUT LEAKS,DOWN AND ,ROCKS LIKE IT IS BROKE, THE AIRBAG LIGHT KEEPS FLASHING AND WONT STOP,JUMPY ACCELERTION, AND REPLACING FRONT BRAKE CAN BE COSTLY. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE AND ACCORDING TO INTERNET BY VIN# PRINTED OUT NO RECALLS, SHOWS NOW I SEE IT HAD RECALLS WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF? DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE SEAT FELT LIKE IT WAS CHANGING THE HEIGHT AND I HAD TO KEEP READJUSTING IT, I THEN STOPPED AND WENT TO GET OUT AND IT ROCKED. I WEIGH 100LBS SO I COULD NOT HAVE BROKEN IT.
THE REAR CROSSMEMBER RUSTED COMPLETELY INTO. VERY DANGEROUS.
THE DRIVERS SEAT IS VERY WOBBLY IS NOT STABLE. ENGINE IS MAKING A NOISE UNSURE ON HOW TO DESCRIBE AND I BELIEVE THERE'S UNDERCARRIAGE RUSTING AND THE CAR IS GETTING WET INSIDE WHEN IT RAINS.
MY VEHICLE WAS NOT MOVING AT THE TIME THE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING. THE PASSENGER AIR BAG "OFF" LIGHT DOES NOT WORK UNLESS I MOVE THE CONNECTOR UNDER THE FRONT RIGHT PASSENGER SEAT. THEN THE PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT WILL SHUT OFF AFTER ABOUT 10 SECONDS. THIS IS THE SAME PROBLEM LISTED FOR THE RECALL BUT MY VEHICLE IS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. THIS SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM FOR MANY MURANO'S NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL.
MY 2007 NISSAN MURANO CONTINUES TO STALL AFTER REPLACING THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR 3 TIMES. MY ISSUES SEEM TO FIT THE DESCRIPTION DEFECTIVE INTAKE AIR DUCTS. THIS CAUSES, WHICH MY CAR DOES, TO CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. ACCELERATION IS BAD AND EVEN WORSE WHEN I USE MY AIR CONDITIONING. I NO LONGER TAKE THE CAR ON THE HIGHWAY AFTER CUTTING OFF DRIVING TO STOP SIGNS AND GREEN LIGHTS IN TRAFFIC. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NISSAN KIA OF MIDDLETOWN (4961 NY-17M, NEW HAMPTON, NY 10958, (845) 374-6555) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO SCHEDULE A DIAGNOSTIC APPOINTMENT. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 158,000.
I GOT INTO THE VEHICLE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE AND HEARD A POP. I PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE AND WHEN THE CAR MOVED I HEARD THE POP AGAIN AND THE SEAT DROPPED ON THE LEFT SIDE. I PARKED, GOT OUT TO EXAMINE THE SEAT AND A SEAT SUPPORT HAD BROKEN UNDER THE LEFT REAR SIDE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT CAUSING THE SEAT TO DROP, LEANING TO THE LEFT. ATTEMPTING TO RETURN HOME, WHEN HITTING ANY BUMP IN THE ROAD THE SEAT IS ALMOST LIKE SITTING IN A ROCKING CHAIR.

MY 2007 NISSAN MURAN HAS APPROX 125,000 MILES. I HAVE TAKEN CARE OF IT. IT HAS NICE TIRES AND THE MOST RECENT 4WHEEL ALIGNMENTS WHERE APPROX JAN AND FEB 2018. FOR WHATEVER REASON I GOT IN ONE DAY LAST SUMMER AND AS SOON AS I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY MY SEAT FELT AS IF I GOT PUSH BACKWARD AND MY SEAT BRACKET HAD JUST BROKE, I NOW HAVE BRICKS HOLDING UP MY $28,000 RIDE! JULY 26, 2018 SOMEONE PULLED INTO MY DRIVEWAY HITTING MY PARKED VEHICLE AND QUICKLY DRIVING AWAY. THEY HIT IT HARD ENOUGH TO DENT THE BUMPER AND TOW BAR. I IMMEDIATELY COULD TELL THE REAR END WAS WAY OFF. PROGRESSIVE REFUSES TO PAY FOR THIS AS THEY SAID MY CROSSMEMBER COMPLETELY RUSTED THROUGH AS WELL AS SOME OF MY FRAME AND SOME OTHER PARTS.. THEY SAY IF THE VEHICLE HAD NOT HAD SUCH A SERIOUS RUST PROBLEM -WHICH IS NOT AGE APPROPRIATE TO MY VEHICLE-THEN IT WOULD NOT HAVE BROKEN IN HALF TOWING MY TIRES IN AS WELL FROM THAT HIT. COVERAGE IS VOIDED LIKE A POOR WORKMANSHIP DEAL! THE SHOP I HAVE IT AT RIGHT NOW SAYS ITS SO FAR GONE IT IS SERIOUSLY UNSAFE TO DRIVE. FOR MYSELF AND OTHERS. DUE TO NISSANS PREMATURE RUST ISSUES MY CAR IS UNDRIVEABLE AND MY DRIVERS SEAT ISNT SAFE AS WELL. PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE IS REFUSING TO STAND BY MY FULL COVERAGE POLICY AND APPARENTLY ARE LEGALLY ABLE TO DO SO BECAUSE THE SUBSTANDARD PARTS GIVE THEM THAT ESCAPE CLAUSE. I STILL OWE ON THIS VEHICLE. I REALLY NEED NISSAN TO MAKE THIS RIGHT AS THEY HAVE EVEN MADE IT SO IT WAS UNINSURABLE AS I PAID AND I NEVER EVEN KNEW IT. I HAVE MY CAR IN PLACES FOR ALIGNMENTS, TIRES, OIL CHANGES ETC ETC AND NOONE EVER TOLD ME IT WAS RUSTING OR RUSTED AWAY. THE PROGRESSIVE AGENT HAD LOOKED AT MY MURANO UPON THE 1ST INSPECTION AND NEVER EVEN TOLD ME ABOUT THE DANGER I WAS IN DRIVING. NISSAN HAS CREATED A PROBLEM THAT HAS PROMPTED MY PROGRESSIVE ADJUSTER TO PLACE MY SAFETY AT RISK SO THEY CAN GET OUT OF PAYING. I TOOK CARE OF MY CAR!
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC WHEN I PUSHED ON THE GAS AND THE VEHICLE WASN'T MOVING ANYMORE. THE BATTERY AND BRAKE LIGHT BOTH CAME ON. AFTER A COUPLE OF MINUTES I WAS ABLE TO MOVE MY CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD BY PUSHING ON THE GAS. BUT THE CAR WASN'T MOVING FAST. AFTER A COUPLE OF MINUTES EVRETHING CAME BACK TO NORMAL. MY VEHICLE IS IN THE MECHANIC SHOP RIGHT NOW AND MY MECHANIC TOLD ME THE ALTERNATOR IS GOING BAD. I WILL BE REPLACING THE ALTERNATOR.
TAKATA RECALL MY ENTIRE SUBFRAME BROKE IN TWO AND MY BACK TWO TIRES ANGLE BAD NOW. OT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS DRIVING, THE VEHICLE STARTED GOING ALL OVER THE ROAD, THANKFULLY I WASN'T GOING FAST AND STOPPED BEFORE I HIT ANY TREES OR DITCHED IT. I WAS ON A PAVED ROAD AND DIDN'T HIT ANYTHING.
REAR SUBFRAME IS RUSTED THROUGH AND CONTROL ARMS THAT HOLD WHEELS ON ARE PULLING APART. TWO MECHANICS HAVE DEEMED THIS VEHICLE UNSAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO A RUSTED FRAME.
SUB FRAME RUSTED ALL THE WAY THOUGH. DEEMED NOT SAFE TO DRIVE, TIRES ARE SLANTED.
TAKATA RECALL GOT A VEHICLE FROM A SMALL BUSINESS AND CAR NO GOOD THEY REPULLED THE VEHICLE 2 TIMES
THIS CAR HAS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. THE DASH BOARD LIGHTED COMPONENTS FLICKER BACK AND FORTH FROM DIM TO BRIGHT WHEN THE HEADLIGHTS ARE TURNED ON. THE HEADLIGHTS WHEN TURNING ON GO FROM REALLY DIM TO NORMAL WHEN TURNING ON. I HAVE NOTICED THIS AT NIGHT WHILE DRIVING. WHEN GOING TO BUCKLE MY SON IN HIS CAR SEAT THE SEAT BELTS THIN THE REAR LOCK AND DO NOT RELEASE. UNLESS ALL THE SLACK IT IT IS RETURNED TO NORMAL. WHICH SOMETIMES TAKES 3 TO 4 TIMES TO BE ABLE TO BUCKLE HIM INTO HIS SEAT WITHOUT THE SEAT BELT LOCKING
