MY 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER HAS 58,000 AND SHAKES VIOLENTLY ONCE I REACH 40 MPH AND OVER ESPECIALLY ON THE HIGHWAY. I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL NISSAN DEALER AND IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THE RADIATOR LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION MAKING IT SHAKE VERY VIOLENTLY. THE ESTIMATED COST TO REPAIR THIS HUGE PROBLEM IS ANYWHERE FROM $3500-$4500. I CALLED NISSAN HEADQUARTERS ONLY TO HEAR THAT MY WARRANTY ALREADY EXPIRED AND THAT THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY AND MECHANICAL PROBLEM THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED SINCE THEY HAVE TERRIBLE ENGINEERING AND COULD POSSIBLY CAUSE AN MAJOR ACCIDENT AND SOMEONE'S LIFE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL VIBRATION IN THE VEHICLE AS IF HE WAS DRIVING OVER A SEVERELY BUMPY ROAD SURFACE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VALVE BODY WAS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS COMMON BUT WOULD NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE PROGRESSED TO THE POINT WHERE THERE WAS A STUTTER IN THE ENGINE AND THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 122,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 126,000.
1) THE TRANSMISSION COMPLETELY FAILED WITH NO PREVIOUS WARNING/INDICATION ON A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER AROUND THE 82K MILE MARK. I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR USED LESS THAN 1 MONTH AND 1K MILES PREVIOUSLY. I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF MERGING ONTO AN EXPRESSWAY AT THE TIME AND FOUND MYSELF UNABLE TO FULLY ACCELERATE. I BASICALLY COASTED IT OFF THE ROAD AT THIS POINT. ALTHOUGH AN ACCIDENT WAS AVERTED ONE COULD HAVE EASILY OCCURRED. 2) FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD, THE TRANSMISSION SEIZED UP ENTIRELY, AND ALL OF THE FLUIDS DRAINED OUT ENTIRELY. IT ONLY HAPPENED ONCE, HOWEVER IT CAUSED MY VEHICLE TO INSTANTLY BE "DEAD IN THE WATER". 3) THE CAR HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE U-JOINT AND THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED (NEW) FOR A ROUGHLY 7200 TOTAL PRICE TAG THAT FORTUNATELY FOR ME THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY ULTIMATELY COVERED (MINUS THE DEDUCTIBLE) AFTER MUCH BACK AND FORTH / INSPECTIONS OVER 6 WEEKS. *TR
WE OWN A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. RECENTLY THE TRANSMISSION IS SLOW TO ENGAGE. IT HAS FAILED AT TIMES WHILE PULLING OUT FROM A STOP. IT PLACES THE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION BECAUSE THE VEHICLE FAILS TO MOVE FORWARD AND YOU ARE PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC. OUR VEHICLE HAS 65000 MILES ON IT, JUST OVER THE WARRANTY LIMIT. WE RECENTLY TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP WHO DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO A FAULTY RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION. A $6000 REPAIR ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN TO US. FROM WHAT INFORMATION I HAVE FOUND BY MY OWN RESEARCH, THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE THAT NISSAN IS FULLY AWARE OF BUT REFUSES TO RECALL. WE HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS WHICH HAS BEEN A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. THIS PROBLEM IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE IN MY OPINION. *TR
FUEL GAUGE SENSOR SHOWS ERRONEOUS AMOUNT OF FUEL IN GAS TANK. CONSEQUENCE: THIS COULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO RUN OUT OF GAS AND STALL IN TRAFFIC, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. THIS FAILURE IS 100% OF THE TIME 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER XE, NISSAN CURRENTLY HAVE A RECALL FOR THIS SENSOR ON 2006 AND 2008, HOWEVER SINCE A SIMILAR ISSUE IS PRESENT ON 2005 THEY EITHER MISSED MY YEAR OR THEY DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED WHEN DRIVING AT 40 MPH IN OVERDRIVE, THE VEHICLE WOULD ABNORMALLY VIBRATE EXCESSIVELY AS IF DRIVING OVER AN EXTREMELY UNEVEN ROAD SURFACE.THE FAILURE WOULD CORRECT ITSELF WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED BUT WOULD RETURN MOMENTARILY. THE FAILURE BECAME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE AND ON ONE OCCASION, WHILE DRIVING AT 70 MPH, THE FAILURE OCCURRED AND THE CONTACT WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT HE HAD A BLOWN TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE CONTACT'S PERSONAL MECHANIC WHERE HE WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE HE WAS ADVISED THE RADIATOR FLUID WAS LEAKING INTO TRANSMISSION AND CAUSING THE FAILURE. THE DEALER ADVISED REPLACING BOTH THE RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION AT THE CONTACT'S EXPENSE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING A RESPONSE TO DETERMINE IF THEY WOULD ASSIST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 75,432.
VEHICLES FUEL SYSTEM IS FAULTY. I NOTICED THAT THE GAS GAUGE READS EMPTY AFTER HAVING A FULL TANK OF GAS, ADDITIONALLY THE DIGITAL "DISTANCE TO EMPTY" DISPLAY DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. AT TIMES THE LOW GAS INDICATOR WILL BE DISPLAYED EVEN AFTER I FILLED THE TANK UP. I HAVE BEEN IN TWO DIFFERENT SITUATIONS WHERE I RAN OUT OF GAS ON THE HIGHWAY THINKING THAT I HAD ENOUGH GAS FOR MY JOURNEY. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD. NISSAN REPLACED THE PARTS ON 2006 & 2007 VEHICLES BUT REFUSE TO REPLACE MY 2005 DEVICE QUOTING THAT IT HAS HIGH MILES AND OUT OF WARRANTY. *TR
TL-*HE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VIBRATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE RADIATOR COOLANT WAS LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION; BOTH THE TRANSMISSION AND RADIATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 90,000.
2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER TRANSMISSION RADIATOR ISSUE. THERE ARE PLENTY OF POSTS ONLINE REGARDING THE SAME PROBLEM. THE RADIATOR LEAKS COOLANT INTO THE TRANSMISSION FLUID LINES. WHICH IN TURN CAUSES IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE TRANSMISSION. WHICH IS AROUND A $4000 PART. *TR
RECENTLY THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL ON THE 2006 AND 2008 NISSAN FRONTIER, XTERRA, AND PATHFINDERS ABOUT HOW THE MOLDED FUEL TANK SHELLS CAN DEFORM, CAUSING THE FUEL SENDER FLOAT ARM TO CONTACT AN EMBOSSMENT MOLDED INTO THE TANK SHELL CAUSING THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FUEL GAUGE TO SHOW THAT THE VEHICLE HAS APPROXIMATELY ONE QUARTER TANK WHEN THE FUEL TANK IS EMPTY. THIS HAS HAPPEN TO NUMBER TIMES EXCEPT I HAVE A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER, WHICH HAS THE SAME IDENTICAL PART IN THE 2006. THIS HAPPENS TO ME EVERYTIME WHEN THE FUEL GAUGE REACHES A LITTLE BELOW THE HALF WAY MARK. IT READS IT HAS ABOUT 100 SOME OFF MILES UNTIL EMPTY. WHEN I GET UP FOR WORK IN THE MORNING THE AND START THE VEHICLE THE FUEL GAUGE NEEDLE GOES BELOW EMPTY AND THE FUEL GAUGE LITES UP. I FEEL SINCE THE 2006 AND 2008 HAS BEEN RECALLED AND ITS HAPPENING TO MY 2005 MODEL ALSO, THAT IT NEEDS TO BE PUT ON THE RECALL LIST. *TR
WHEN MY 2005 PATHFINDER'S FUEL GAUGE IS AT HALF A TANK, THE DTE SAYS ----. I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THE RECALL FOR THE 2006 PATHFINDER WHICH IS THE EXACT SAME MODEL AS THE 2005. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED BY NISSAN! *TR
2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER LE, HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE FUEL SENSOR UNIT AT OWN EXPENSE WHEN IT WOULDN'T SHOW CORRECT AMOUNT OF FUEL LEFT IN TANK BELOW HALF FULL. THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED ABOUT 50K MILES. NOW WITH JUST UNDER 95K MILES, AM HAVING ISSUE WITH TRANSMISSION NOT LOCKING INTO OVERDRIVE. THIS IS THE SITUATION OFTEN DESCRIBED AS HEAVY VIBRATION AROUND 45 MPH, AS WELL AS AROUND 60 MPH. HAVE HAD DEALER AS WELL AS INDEPENDENT SHOP LOOK AT THIS BOTH SAYING IT IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH THIS MAKE/MODEL/YEAR. AS OF THIS POINT - NO CROSS-CONTAMINATION HAS BEEN FOUND WITH THE COOLANT AND THE TRANSMISSION FLUID. I AM LOOKING AT AROUND 5K IN COSTS FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN AN HEAVY ACCIDENT NOR DRIVEN OFF-ROAD OR ANYTHING BESIDES CITY AND HIGHWAY DRIVING. NOT VERY RELIABLE FROM MY POINT OF VIEW AND NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED WHY SO MANY HAVE BEEN FAULTY - AND IF FOUND TO BE DESIGN, THEN WHY ISN'T IT AT LEAST PART OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF NISSAN TO HELP OWNERS OF THESE VEHICLES? *TR
I BOUGHT A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER IN SEPT OF 08, IT HAD 39990 MILES ON IT. A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE FUEL GAUGE NEEDLE DROPPED FROM A FULL TANK TO EMPTY. I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC AND TOLD HIM WHAT HAD HAPPENED, HE SAID IT SOUNDED LIKE THE FUEL SENDING UNIT, SO HE HOOKED IT UP TO THE COMPUTER AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT SAID THE PROBLEM WAS. MY PATHFINDER HAS 94000 MILES ON IT NOW(54000 IS WHAT I PUT ON IT) I DID A SEARCH ONLINE AND FOUND AT TOPIX.COM, IN THE PATHFINDER FORUM OUT OF 48 POSTS 10 WERE THE 2005 PATHFINDER, 14 WERE 2006, 7 WERE 2007, 2 WERE 2008 & 1 WAS THE 2009 ALL WITH THE VERY SAME PROBLEM. THERE SEEMS TO BE A RE-OCCURRING PROBLEM HERE. THE RECALL ON THE PATHFINDER WITH THE SAME PROBLEM WAS FOR THE ONES PRODUCED BETWEEN 1/06 & 3/06 OR 10/7-1/08. I THINK THAT THIS NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED. I OWN 2 NISSAN MAXIMAS ONE IS A 1994 THE OTHER 2001 AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THEM. PLEASE SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT THIS. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION COOLANT HAD LEAKED INTO THE RADIATOR AND THE RADIATOR FLUID LEAKED INTO THE TRANSMISSION. AS A RESULT, BOTH THE RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 150,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
TRANSMISSION SHAKING AT 40-45 MPH. IS CONSTANT UNTIL TRANSMISSION CHANGES GEARS. NISSAN REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION FOR A FEE. AFTER REPLACEMENT THE NEW TRANSMISSION EXPERIENCES THE SAME SYMPTOMS. TOOK IT IN AGAIN AND THEY SAID THE RADIATOR IS LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION. PATHFINDER IS IN SERVICE AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE PARTS AND LABOR. READING THE COMPLAINTS THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND SHOULD BE A RECALL. *TR
MY 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER HIT A METAL OBJECT IN THE ROAD WITH ONE OF THE FRONT TIRES. THE OBJECT WAS PROPELLED UNDER THE CAR TOWARDS THE REAR. THERE IT CONTACTED THE FUEL TANK AND PUNCTURED THE TANK. THIS CAUSED 16-18 GALLONS OF GASOLINE TO FLOW OUT OF THE TANK. AFTER STOPPING I HAD TO STEP THROUGH A STEADY STREAM OF GASOLINE TO REMOVE MY INFANT DAUGHTER FROM THE MIDDLE ROW'S DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT. AT THIS TIME I'M AWARE OF NO OTHER DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO THE VEHICLE. POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO THE SCENE, AND THE POLICE REPORT IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. THIS INCIDENT APPEARS TO BE CONSISTENT WITH EVENTS DESCRIBED IN THE RECALL 06V003000 FOR THE 2005 NISSAN MURANO, HOWEVER TO MY KNOWLEDGE IT APPEARS THE 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS ISSUE. CURRENTLY I'M AWAITING THE FINAL REPAIR BILL AND DETERMINATION IF ANYTHING BEYOND THE FUEL TANK WAS DAMAGED. AT THIS TIME THE CURRENT REPAIR PLANNED IS TO HAVE THE FUEL TANK REPLACED. THE OLD FUEL TANK IS BEING KEPT IN THE EVENT IT IS NEEDED FOR INSURANCE OR SAFETY INSPECTION. *TR
VEHICLE SHUTTERS AND SHAKES IN OVERDRIVE AT @ 40/45 MPH AND DOES NOT PROPERLY ENGAGE GEARS DURING OPERATION OF VEHICLE. THE TRANSMISSION FAILS DURING NORMAL NAVIGATION THROUGH TRAFFIC. CONFIRMED FACTORY DEFECTIVE RADIATOR LEAKED COOLANT INTO TRANSMISSION CAUSING RUINED TRANSMISSION. *TR
I BOUGHT THE CAR IN FEB. OF 2009 AND BY MARCH OF 2009 THE FUEL SENSOR STARTED ACTING FUNNY. IT WAS NOT COVERED(WHICH IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN BY THE DEALER) AND I COULD NOT AFFORD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET. NOW THE FUEL LEVEL WILL READ "- - -" WHEN THE TANK IS LESS THAN 1/4 A TANK OF GAS AND IT ALSO MAKES THE "SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT" COME ON. IT IS NOT SAFE FOR FAMILIES TO BE DRIVING WITH A DEFECTIVE FUEL SENSOR. I DID RECEIVE THE SOMETHING IN THE MAIL ABOUT A RECALL ON THE GAS GAUGE, BUT MY VEHICLE HAD JUST PASSED THE 72000 MILE MARK(72135 ROUGHLY) SO I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ONLINE AND THE FIX IS VERY EXPENSIVE $500 AND UP. ON A ONE INCOME HOME I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR A PART THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED BY THE DEALER BEFORE I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE! ALSO, WHEN LOCKING THE CAR THE HORN DOES NOT SOUND ANYMORE. THIS IS NOT A HUGE DEAL BUT I AM WONDERING IF IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE "SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT" THAT CAME ON BECAUSE OF THE FUEL SENSOR. *TR

THE CONTACT OBSERVED AN INACCURATE READING AFTER GASOLINE WAS ADDED TO THE FUEL TANK TO ITS CAPACITY LEVEL; HOWEVER, THE FUEL GAUGE DISPLAYED LESS THAN HALF FULL. THE AUTHORIZED DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL DEFECT; ALTHOUGH, THERE WAS A RECALL RELATED TO THE DEFECT FOR THE 2006 AND 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER VEHICLES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,500. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 52,700.
THE FUEL GAUGE IS NO LONGER WORKING. THE COMPUTER IN THE VEHICLE CANNOT READ IF ANY FUEL IS IN THE TANK IN TURN LIGHTING THE "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" LIGHT. THIS IS A GREAT CONCERN AS THE DRIVE DOESN'T KNOW HOW MUCH FUEL IS IN THE VEHICLE WHICH MAY CAUSE SERIOUS ACCIDENTS AS A RESULT OF A STALLED VEHICLE IN TRAFFIC. *TR
AFTER TRANSMISSION FLUSH, TRANSMISSION FAILED SHORTLY THEREAFTER. REPLACED TRANSMISSION JUNE 2009. MARCH 2010 HAD VIBRATION PROBLEM AND RETURNED FOR TRANSMISSION REPAIR AGAIN. SECOND TORQUE CONVERTER REPLACED. WITHIN 1 WEEK VIBRATION ISSUE RETURNED. DEALER REVIEW CONFIRMED THAT COOLANT FROM RADIATOR HAD LEAKED INTO TRANSMISSION AND THAT RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION NEED TO BE REPLACED. THIS WOULD BE MY SECOND TRANSMISSION, AND THIRD TORQUE CONVERTER IN LESS THAN A YEAR, DUE TO A FAULTY RADIATOR USED BY NISSAN IN '05 & '06 MODELS. *TR
AT AROUND 56,600 MILES NOTICED CAR SHAKING VIGOUROUSLY WHEN DRIVING OVER 50 MPH. THIS MILEAGE TYPICALLY OCCURRING ON HIGHWAY AND STEERING WHEEL SHAKES AND VIBRATES AND CAR GEARS FEELS LIKE IT KEEPS SLIPPING UNTIL YOU SLOW DOWN BELOW 40MPH. I BOUGHT MY CAR BRAND NEW, 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER SE AND HAVE SEEN SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ABOUT A DEFECTIVE RADIATOR IN THESE VEHICLES WHICH CRACKS AND CAUSES FLUIDS TO LEAK INTO TRANSMISSION AND DESTROY IT. ALTHOUGH MY TRANSMISSION IS STILL COVERED UNDER THE 5YR/60,000 MI WARRANTY, THEY WILL NOT ADDRESS THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THE RADIATOR HASN'T BEEN RECALLED AS YET.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN AND WHEN SHE ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE FORWARD, THE VEHICLE INSTEAD MOVED BACKWARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION AND RADIATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF A LEAK IN THE RADIATOR WHICH ALSO CAUSED THE TRANSMISSION TO STOP FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP BEING REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 74,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS OF 55 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FUEL LEVEL INDICATOR DISPLAYED EMPTY ALTHOUGH THERE WAS GASOLINE IN THE VEHICLE. I TOOK MY CAR TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP COMPLAINING ABOUT ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPING. I WAS TOLD THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG- HOWEVER THE NISSAN TECHNICIAN WAS FULLY AWARE OF THE ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION RADIATOR COOLANT AND FAILED TO INFORM ME OF THE POSSIBLE ISSUE. WHY NOT JUST REPLACE THE RADIATOR BEFORE IT CAUSES THE TRANSMISSION TO GO BAD. FINALLY THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AT 130K MILES AND OF COURSE I AM TOLD THAT I AM OUT OF LUCK AND $4200. I THINK IT IS REALLY SAD THAT NISSAN OFFERED EXTENDED WARRANTIES FOR CUSTOMERS UNDER CERTAIN MILES AND LEFT OTHERS OUT IN THE COLD. I BOUGHT MY 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER NEW FROM THE DEALER. AT ABOUT 70,000 MILES I STARTED HAVING TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS AND WAS TOLD THAT NISSAN HAD A SEVERE PROBLEM WITH THE RADIATOR LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION AND RUINING IT.
