COSTCO GAS STATION PERMITS ME TO PUMP MY OWN GAS. WHEN I DO NOW PUMP THE GAS, I LOCK THE PUMP AT THE HANDLE AND THE GASOLINE FLOWS IN, BUT THE LAST 2 TIMES THE GAS PUMP SHUTS OFF THE GAS FLOW PREMATURELY AND GAS IS SPILLED. AND THE HOSE AND END FITTNG (SINCE ABOUT A HUNCRED MILES AGO) THIS CREATES A GAS SPILL WITH EVERY TRY.
DURING RAIN OR DRIVING THROUGH CAR WASH WATER ENTERS THE INTERIOR OF VEHICLE THROUGH DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW,PASSENGER WINDOW OR BACK HATCH. *TR
I WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT WITH $12,863 WORTH OF DAMAGED TO THE FRONT OF MY CAR. DRIVER AIR BAG DID NOT GO OFF..I HIT THE STERRING WHEEL SO HARD THAT I FRACTURED A RIB AND A SWOLLEN CHEST INSIDE AND OUT..ABOUT 8 MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT IT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG BUT I AM THINKING THAT THE DRIVER SIDE SHOULD BE CHECKED AS WELL. I WAS GOING THRU A GREEN LIGHT ON A CITY STREET AND A LADY RAN THE RED LIGHT COMING FROM THE OTHER WAY. I BRAKED AND LAID ON THE HORN WHEN I SAW HER COMING OUT AND SWERVED MY CAR BUT COULDN'T AVOID HER. FIRST IT WAS A NO FAULT BUT THEN SHE WAS PROVEN TO GO THRU THE RED LIGHT. LUCKY I HAD MY SEATBELT ON BUT THAT DIDN'T EVEN STOP ME FROM HITTING THE STEERING WHEEL HARD!!
ON DECEMBER 10, 2016 MAY SON AND I WENT TO SUPERCUTS NEAR LOUIS HENNA BLVD AND IH35 NORTH AROUND 11:00 AM, WHEN I WENT TO PULL INTO A PARKING SPACES, I SLOWED DOWN FROM DRIVING ABOUT 10 MILES AN HOUR, TOOK MY FOOT OFF OF THE ACCELERATOR, APPLIED THE BRAKES TO PARK AND THE 2015 NISSAN ROGUE I WAS DRIVING DID NOT SLOW DOWN, IN FACT IT ACCELERATED AND THREW VEHICLE UP AGAINST A BRICK AND MORTER PILLAR. MEANWHILE I AM STILL TRYING TO STOP THE VEHICLE BY BRAKING AND VEHICLE IS IN PARK. VEHICLE AFTER ABOUT 2 MINUTES STOPS ACCELERATION AND I CANNOT GET VEHICLE OUT OF PARK, I KEPT TRYING TO GET VEHICLE OUT OF PARK TO REVERSE IT OFF OF THE CURB. FINALLY AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, I MOVE INTO REVERSE TO GET CAR OFF OF CURB. THE WHOLE FRONT END OF MY VEHICLE IS CRASHED. THERE ARE PIECES OF MY VEHICLE ON THE SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF ASIAN RESTAURANT. RESTAURANT EMPLOYEE WITNESSED THE WHOLE THING AND HE COMES OUT TO SEE IF WE ARE OKAY.I CHECKED TO SEE IF MY SON WICHAR CLEVELAND IS OKAY. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. I CONTACTED ELEPHANT INSURANCE. I DON'T SEE ANY FLUIDS SO I DRIVE VEHICLE TO SERVICE KING, VERY SLOWLY, A FEW BLOCKS AWAY. I CALLED NISSAN ON MONDAY, THEY TOOK MY INFO SAID SOMEONE WOULD CONTACT ME. DEHENRY CALLED NEXT DAY, SAID NISSAN IS NOT LIABLE. I REQUESTED THEY LET ME TRADE VEHICLE FOR A NEW ONE, I DON'T WANT TO DRIVE THAT VEHICLE NOR SHOULD ANYONE ELSE DRIVE IT. I ALSO ASKED THEY PAY FOR CAR RENTAL, DEDUCTIBLES, TOWING OR ANY OF MY EXPENSES. NISSAN INFORMED ME THEY COULD NOT SEND AN INVESTIGATOR TO LOOK AT VEHICLE UNTIL JANUARY 5, 2017 WITH NO GUARANTEES THAT NISSAN WOULD BE LIABLE.I RESEARCHED THE VEHICLE ONLINE AND THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE TO SOMEONE ELSE YET NISSAN HAS NOT DONE A RECALL. I GUESS THEY WILL WHEN SOMEONE IS KILLED!
SAME ISSUE AS DESCRIBED IN NHTSA ID NUMBER: 10903208 CAR DOES NOT PICK UP MY KEY FOB. I CAN BE TRYING TO ENTER MY TRUCK AND IT WONT PICK IT UP. I HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT MY POCKET AND CLICK THE OPEN BUTTON. I HAVE BEEN IN MY CAR AND TRYING TO START IT AND IT WONT START. IT SAYS KEY NOT DETECTED. HOWEVER, THE KEY IS IN MY POCKET. IT WONT START. I HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE FOB AND RE-SYNC TO GET THE VEHICLE TO PICK UP THE KEY. VERY ODD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT ON...STATIONARY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH AND THE ENTIRE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WAS DAMAGED. THE CONTACT WAS INJURED AND WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL FOR MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME AND THEN TOWED BILLY NAVARRE NISSAN (1700 SIEBARTH DR, LAKE CHARLES, LA 70615, (337) 439-9955) WHERE IT WAS REPAIRED THREE MONTHS LATER. SINCE THE CRASH, THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN BACK TO THE DEALER AT LEAST TEN TIMES. THE TCM IN THE ENGINE, AN ETRC SENSOR IN THE ENGINE, THE BELT PULLEY, THE TRANSMISSION, THE BODY CONTROL MODULE, AND THE TPMF WERE REPLACED. ALL OF THE FAILURES ORIGINATED FROM THE ENGINE. THE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED AND RECALIBRATED, THERE WAS A LOOSE PIN IN THE POWER RELAY BOX, AND TWO SENSORS HAD TO BE CHANGED, INCLUDING THE 02 SENSOR. IN ADDITION, THE GEARS DID NOT SHIFT FLUIDLY AND THE TRANSBODY SENSOR NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. THE MOST RECENT FAILURE WAS THE VEHICLE SPUTTERING AND THE TRANSMISSION STRAINING TO CHANGE GEARS. BY THE TIME THE CONTACT PULLED INTO HER NEIGHBORHOOD, THE VEHICLE HAD NO ACCELERATION AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT PLANNED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN DRIVING CONDITION SINCE THE CRASH. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000.
THE AIR BAG LIGHT ON MY DASH IS ON AND NISSAN REFUSES TO LOOK INTO WHY IT IS ON OR IF THERE IS A FAUTLY AIRBAG UNLESS I PAY THEM TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE AND THEN PAY THEM TO FIX THE ISSUE. THIS IS A SAFTEY CONCERN,
I RECEIVED RECALL NOTICES ABOUT THIS AND OTHER ISSUES. I CONTACTED PORRECO NISSAN IN ERIE, PA (WHO SOLD ME THE CAR) AND WAS TOLD NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT IF I WASN'T HAVING PROBLEMS. I THEN CALLED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND WAS TOLD THAT THE DEALERSHIP NEEDED TO TAKE CARE OF IT. I MADE THE HOUR AND A HALF TREK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND HAD IT SERVICED - I THINK. NOW, I AM RECEIVING NOTICES FROM NISSAN TELLING ME IT WASN'T DONE, WHICH MAKES ME SEEM NEGLIGENT. I CALLED NISSAN AND CAN'T EVEN GET SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS GOOD ENOUGH ENGLISH TO UNDERSTAND MY ISSUE AND GET ME TO SOMEONE IN NISSAN NORTH AMERICA'S TENNESSEE OFFICE. AFTER ALREADY HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE DEALERSHIP, I DON'T KNOW IF THEY TRULY PERFORMED THE WORK OR NOT, SINCE NISSAN CORPORATE IS STILL SENDING ME THESE LETTERS. PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON EITHER WHILE DRIVING WITH PASSENGER IN FRONT SEAT. SHE IS 5'4" & 200LBS. I HAVE BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES, & LAST TIME THEY HAD IT FOR 6 DAYS & COULD NOR REPLICATE THE PROBLEM. ON A 1500 MILE TRIP TO FL FROM MA, IT HAPPENED 4 TIMES, & ONCE WITH ME IN THE PASSENGER SEAT (I AM 5'6" & 260 LBS) DEALER WILL NOT REPLACE SENSORS OR COMPUTER UNTIL IT SEES THE ERROR. WHAT DO I DO DRIVE AN UNSAFE VEHICLE? I AM DUE TO RETURN TO MA THIS SUNDAY, DOES MY WIFE SIT IN THE REAR SEAT? THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 25 TIMES IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS OR UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE, CHECK ENGINE, AND TRACTION CONTROL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. ALSO, THE "SEE OWNER'S MANUAL" MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NISSAN OF PICAYUNE (239 FRONTAGE RD, PICAYUNE, MS 39466 (601) 889-5454) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE DAYS LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ECM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED A SECOND TIME, BUT THE NEXT DAY, THE WARNING INDICATORS AND MESSAGE REAPPEARED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER A THIRD TIME AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN THE THROTTLE BODY AND ECM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED BECAUSE THE DEALER COULD NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE FAILURE WOULD NOT RECUR. A FEW MONTHS LATER, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO COULD NOT DIAGNOSE A FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
RESPECTED OFFICER, DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT CHIME NOT WORKING IF SEAT BELT IS NOT LATCHED - I AM NOTICING HAPPENING FOR ABOUT 1 YEAR. ENGINE IS MAKING LOT OF VIBRATION AND SOUND WHEN IDLE - THIS IS HAPPENING SHORTLY SOON AFTER I BOUGHT THIS CAR 08/2015. THERE IS A MOVING OBJECT DETECTION SYSTEM WHICH SOMETIMES WORK AND SOMETIMES DOES NOT WORK - I AM NOTICING THIS FOR ABOUT THE LAST 4 MONTHS. A NISSAN TECHNICIAN INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THERE WAS ONE INJURY THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. WHEN THE SAFETY RECALL CAME OUT IN 2016 I HAD IT FIXED , WELL AGAIN A FEW MONTHS ATER IT ATOPPING WORKED AND THE DEALERSHIP CLAIM THE FIRST ONE DID IT WRONG SO I FIXED THE RECALL ISSUE WITH THE PASSENGER AIRBAGS AGAIN. NOW FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS IT NOT WORKING THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON ON MY DASH BOARD AND THE DEALERS WANT TO CHARGE ME 119 TO LOOK AT IT PLUS REPAIRS I REFUSE TO PAY FOR SOMETHING WAS THAT WAS NOT FIXED RIGHT EITHER TIME. I HAVE A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE OF A NON WORKING MALFUNCTION PASSENGER AIRBAG, THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL ON IT AND THEY CLAIMED THEY FIXED IT TWICE. MY PASSENGER AIRBAG IS NOT TURNING ON WHEN SOMEONE IS IN THE SEAT. I CANNOT HAVE SOMEONE SIT IN THE FRONT BECAUSE OF THIS AND NISSAN IS NOT FIXING THE ISSUE. THEY CLAIM TOO AND THEN IT BREAKS AGAIN. CAN YOU HELP ME GET THIS FIXED RIGHT OR MAKE THEM GIVE ME A NEW VEHICLE UNDER LEMON LAW.
THE AIR CONDITIONING REGULARLY STOPS WORKING AND WILL BLOW OUT WARM AIR. WE HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIPS AND MECHANICS AND THEY CANNOT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM AS IT REQUIRES SOME PERIOD OF DRIVING BEFORE IT WILL STOP WORKING. SENSORS AND WIRES HAVE BEEN REPLACED. COOLANT LEVEL IS FINE AND THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING OVER THE PAST TWO SUMMERS.

ALTHOUGH THIS ISSUE IS IDENTIFIED FOR CERTAIN 2015 ROGUES, MINE IS NOT AMONG THEM, HOWEVER I AM EXPERIENCING THE FOLLOWING: THE FRONT SEAT PASSENGER OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM LIGHT IN THE DASH IS LIT UP WHETHER OR NOT AN OCCUPANT IS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. IT STARTED TO COME ON INTERMITTENTLY WHEN THE SEAT WAS OCCUPIED AND EMPTY AND NOW IT STAYS ON CONTINUOUSLY ONCE THE ENGINE IS STARTED.

IN ADDITION, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE AND INCREASED IN RPMS. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000.
TIRES STARTED DEVELOPING KNOTS ON SIDEWALLS AFTER 9000 MILES AND BLOWING OUT THEY ARE CONTINENTAL 4X4 CONTAC 215-70-16 SOMEONE SHOULD BE HELD LIABLE
BEGINNING IN JULY I BEGAN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE AIRBAG LIGHT IT WAS OFF WHEN IT SHOULD BE ON AND ON WHEN IT SHOULD BE OFF IT HAS BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS AND MULTIPLE SOURCES HAVE LOOKED AT IT BUT CONTINUE TO BLAME MYSELF AND FAMILY. I HAVE PICTORIAL EVIDENCE TO SHOW PEOPLE SITTING IN THE SEAT IN THE AIRBAG IS OFF AND PICTORIAL EVIDENCE SHOWING THAT THE AIRBAG SHOULD BE ON. IT'S BEEN "REPAIRED" MULTIPLE TIMES TO NO SUCCESS. *TR

THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIR WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME. AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED WITH THE DEALER AND THEY STATED IT WOULD TAKE 1.5 HOURS FOR THE REPAIR, BUT THEN CHANGED THEIR POSITION. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE HOW LONG THE REPAIR WOULD TAKE AND IF THE DEALER HAD REPLACED THE PARTS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS TO BE NOTIFIED TO ENSURE THAT THE REPAIR WAS CORRECTLY REMEDIED BY THE DEALER. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. 2015 NISSAN ROGUE PARKED IN MY GARAGE. I WAS IN DRIVEWAY HEARD LOUD NOISE LIKE GUNSHOT. LOOKED A MY CAR AND SAW THAT FRONT PANORAMIC SUNROOF HAD SHATTERED INTO LITTLE PIECES OF GLASS . THANK GOD I WAS NOT DRIVING AT TIME.
I RECEIVED 2 DIFFERENT RECALL LETTERS, CALLED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP& THEY STATED THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PARTS YET THAT THEY NEED TO FIX MY CAR. I DO NOT WISH TO DRIVE A CAR AROUND THAT HAS 2 DIFFERENT RECALLS & THAT CANNOT BE FIXED RIGHT AWAY.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS WAITING FOR THE MANUFACTURER TO PROVIDE A DIAGNOSIS TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V244000 (AIR BAGS). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THERE WAS A DEFECT IN THE AIR BAGS. THE VIN TOOL WAS NOT USED TO VERIFY A RECALL; HOWEVER, THE MANUFACTURER ADDED THE VEHICLE TO THE RECALL LIST ON MAY 23, 2016. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,900.

REAR HATCH SUPPORTS/HYDRAULICS ARE NOT OPENING PROPERLY. THEY MAKE LOUD SCRAPING NOISES AND YOU HAVE TO PHYSICALLY HOLD THE GATE TO ENSURE IT DOESN'T FALL. THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY DURING THIS ISSUE. THERE IS A RECALL ON OTHERS FOR THE SAME PROBLEM BUT MY VIN IS NOT INCLUDED WHEN OBVIOUSLY IT SHOULD BE. IT STARTED WHEN THE CAR WAS ONE YEAR OLD.

SERVICE MANAGER SAID THAT THE JUICE IN THE BATTERY WAS ALL DRAINED & SOMETHING ELSE HAD TO CAUSE THAT ESPECIALLY WHEN IT SAYS KEY NOT DETECTED. THAT THEY DON'T FEEL SAFE US TAKING CAR BACK UNTIL THEY CAN FIND ISSUE BUT LUIS AT NISSAN NORTH AMERICA SAID THAT IS NOT WHAT SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOLD THEM. THAT THEY CAN'T HELP US DOING A BUY OUT FOR THIS DEFECTIVE CAR BECAUSE TO THEM NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT. AIRBAG INDICATOR LIGHT/FRONT PASSENGERS SEAT COMES ON INDICATING IT'S NOT ACTIVATED WITH A PASSENGER IN THE SEAT WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION. DEALERS SAYS IT IS DUE TO NISSAN'S NEW DESIGN AND TO HAVE THE PASSENGER (MY WIFE) SIT WITH HER BUTT AGAINST THE BACK OF THE SEAT, LEGS STRAIGHT OUT IN FRONT OF HER WITH FEET ON THE FLOOR. WENT TO ANOTHER DEALER SHIP 7/2016 GRUBBS NISSAN DEALER SHIP AND JULY 2017 BRAKE BOOSTER WAS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE. SEPTEMBER THE ISSUE STARTED AGAIN AND BRAKE BOOSTER WAS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE AGAIN. ROSA AT CONSUMERS FOR AUTO RELIABILITY AND SAFETY. REPORTING THE ISSUE OF MY BLIND SPOT WARNING LIGHTS GOING OFF CONSTANTLY. THESE LIGHTS WILL GO OFF WHEN NO OTHER CARS ARE AROUND ME. THIS IS A HUGE DISTRACTION AND CAUSES MORE OF A NON-SAFETY FEATURE THAN A SAFETY FEATURE. THESE LIGHTS GO OFF IN DAY LIGHT, EVENING, WHEN IT IS RAINING AND EVEN SUNNY. I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK ONE EVENING, AND SINCE THE OTHER VEHICLES WERE PASSING ME ON THE FREEWAY. I DECIDED TO CHANGE FROM "ECO" MODE TO "SPORT" MODE BECAUSE THE ACCELERATION IS MORE RESPONSIVE AND SMOOTH. WHEN I DID THIS I HIT 3 RPM'S AND TRAFFIC WAS SLOWING DOWN SO I APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THE NEEDLE JUST STEADILY SHOOK AT 3 RPM'S AND I COULD HEAR THE ENGINE REVVING AND ACCELERATING AS I WAS PUSHING THE BREAKS. SO JUST TO MAKE SURE I KNEW WHAT I EXPERIENCED WAS TRUE I MOVED ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT LANE. THEN PROCEEDED TO ACCELERATE UP TO 3 RPM'S AND SURE ENOUGH WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES IT CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. I REPEATED THIS 4 MORE TIMES. THEN THE RPM FINALLY CAME BACK DOWN. WHAT I TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS YES "SPORT" MODE DOES KEEP RPM'S HIGH I LIKE THAT THAT'S THE REASON WHY I DRIVE IN THAT MODE ON THE FREEWAY. THE ISSUE IS THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO COME DOWN AND NOT REV WHENEVER I PUSH THE BRAKES. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS EXCLUSIVE TO MY VEHICLE OR NOT.
