2005 NISSAN TITAN LE 5.6 4/4 KING CAB VIN# [XXX]; I TOOK MY TRUCK TO THE DEALER 10/06/05 TO REPLACE A COOLING FAN THAT THEY ORDERED 3 WEEKS AGO AND CHECK MY BRAKES. THE BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR WHEN YOU ARE STOPPED OR COMING TO A STOP. YOU HAVE TO PUMP IT UP TO BRING IT BACK UP. THEY INSTALLED THE FAN AND TOLD ME THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BRAKES AS SOME OF THE OTHER MODELS DO THE SAME THING. THE BRAKE CYLINDER FLUID WAS FULL. IT SCARES ME TO DRIVE WITH THE PEDAL GOING TO THE FLOOR. THE FLUID HAS TO BE GOING SOMEWHERE MAYBE BYPASSING THE SEALS AS THIS IS A CLOSED SYSTEM. I HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HAVE THE FAN REPLACED AND THEY SAID THERE WERE VERY FEW REPLACEMENT PARTS AVAILABLE FOR THESE TRUCKS(3WKS FOR A FAN). I PURCHASED A NEW 2005 NISSAN TITAN LE. THE FACTORY INSTALLED BRAKES ARE UNSAFE AND INADEQUATE FOR THE VEHICLE. WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD SHAKE TERRIBLY. THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY REPLACED THE ROTORS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE FACTORY ROTORS WERE TOO SMALL FOR THE TRUCK. THE TRUCK NOW HAS 7,000 MILES ON IT AND THE TERRIBLE BRAKE JUDDERING IS BACK. IT MAKES THE VEHICLE MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO STOP. IT'S A SAFETY HAZARD. *JB
FRONT BRAKE JUDDER WHEN HARD BRAKING OCCURS. VEHICLE STEERING WHEEL PULLS IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. FIXED BY DEALER TWICE FOR AFTER MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS (WARRANTY) ONCE BY ME OUT OF MY OWN POCKET. AT 55,000 AND THREE SETS OF BRAKES THE JUDDER IS COMING BACK AGAIN FOR THE 4TH TIME. *TR

FRONT BRAKE SHUDDER - LESS THAN 4000 MILES - REVIEWED MANY COMPLAINTS ON NHTSA SITE OF EXACT SAME PROBLEM - WILL CONTACT DEALER AND PLAY THE GAME THAT EVERYONE ELSE SEEMS TO HAVE TO PLAY - CONSTANT TRIPS TO DEALER FOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF ROTOR. WOULD SAVE SERIOUS GRIEF ON ALL PARTIES IF RECALL WAS SIMPLY ISSUED AND SITUATION FIXED BY REPLACING EQUIPMENT THAT WORKS. *JB

DT: THE CONSUMER OWNS A 2005 NISSAN TITAN PICKUP TRUCK AND HAS TO REPLACE THE BRAKES AT 2,700 MILES. THE DEALERSHIP IS THE ONE THAT CHANGED THE BRAKES. THE DEALER SAID THAT IF THEY HAD TO CHANGE THE BRAKES AGAIN TO BRING THE TRUCK BACK IN. THE FRONT ROTORS AND PADS WERE REPLACED, THE BACK ROTORS WERE RESURFACED , AND THE PADS WERE REPLACED. THE TRUCK IS DRIVING FINE NOW. THE CONSUMER HAS NOT CONTACTED NISSAN. *AK
WITH 1/4 TANK OF GAS OR LESS LEFT IN FUEL TANK,GAS POURS BACK OUT WHEN FILLING FROM ANY GAS STATION.GAS PUMP WILL CLICK WITHIN 10-15 SECONDS OF GETTING GAS AND UP COMES GAS FROM THE TANK.WHEN A PUMP CLICKS,YOUR TANK IS SUPPOSE TO BE FULL.BUT IN THIS SITUATION,IT DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO BEING FULL.IT HAPPENED TO ME WHEN IT GOT AROUND 2-3 GALLONS INTO THE FILL UP.OTHER OWNERS OF THIS TRUCK(NISSAN TITAN '04-'05) HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM.DEALER HAS AVOIDED FIXING THIS ISSUE.THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT NISSAN MUST FIX.A COUPLE GALLONS OF GAS POURING OUT OF THIS TRUCK AT EVERY FILL UP IS DANGEROUS FOR ME AND THE PEOPLE AROUND THE GAS STATION.I HAVE 2 KIDS AND I HESITATE EVERYTIME I FILL MY TRUCK UP WITH THEM INSIDE.PLEASE INVESTIGATE AND SEE THAT NISSAN FIX THIS PROBLEM.THE FORUM ON THIS IS FOUND AT "TITANTALK.COM(GAS TANK ISSUES)".
FAILURE HAPPENED UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS. BLOWN/BAD AXLE SEAL. FLUID LEAKING FROM END OF AXLE TUBE AND POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO INTERNAL COMPONENTS. THIS IS THE SECOND FAILURE OF THE SAME PART IN 6000 MILES. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER (RIVERHEAD NISSAN, 1800 OLD COUNTRY RD, RIVERHEAD, NY 11901, (631) 369-0600) WHO STATED THAT THEY REPAIRED THE VEHICLE WITH A WARRANTY REPAIR CONCERNING THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. THE CONTACT REPORTED TO THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER THAT THE REPLACEMENT PART FAILED AGAIN AND WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE MANUFACTURER WOULD PROVIDE A SOLUTION WITH NO RECALL CAMPAIGN. THE WARRANTY REPLACEMENT PART PROVIDED NO SOLUTION AND, A FEW YEARS LATER, THERE WAS A CRACK AND LEAK WHICH FROM THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V517000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISOCNNECT.
ENGINE TEMPERATURE INDICATOR LIGHT WHICH ILLUMINATES THE HOT/COLD NEEDLE, IS OFFSET TO THE NEEDLE AND SHINES IN THE FACE OF THE DRIVER. THE DEALER CHANGED THE GAUGE BUT THE PROBLEM WAS THE SAME. THE DEALER SAYS THERE IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT WITH NO FIX IN THE WORKS. I HAVE CHECKED THE ARMADA AND FOUND THE SAME PROBLEM. *NM
NO PRIOR EVENTS LEADING TO FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN NORMALLY ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE. THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL OF MY 2004 NISSAN TITAN BROKE 4 TIMES, FIRST TIME WAS AT 6,000 MILES, THEN EVERY 3,000 MILES THERE AFTER. NISSAN THEN REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE WITH A 2005 IN WHICH THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL HAS NOW BROKE 1 TIME. WHEN THE DIFFERENTIAL BREAKS THE VEHICLE IS IMMOBILIZED AND SOMETIMES LEFT IN HARMS WAY (I.E. UNABLE TO GET OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION, TOWING DOWNHILL AND THE DIFFERENTIAL BREAKS MAKING THE VEHICLE VERY HARD TO STOP) NISSAN HAS REPLACED 3 REAR DIFFERENTIALS IN THE 2004 VEHICLE. THEY THEN GAVE A NEW 2005 NISSAN TITAN TO ME. NISSAN HAS REPAIRED 1 REAR DIFFERENTIAL IN THIS VEHICLE. I DO NOT TRUST THIS VEHICLE AND FEEL UNSAFE DRIVING IT AS I AM NOT SURE WHEN THE NEXT FAILURE WILL HAPPEN. THE INCIDENT DATE BELOW IS THE MOST RECENT ONE.*JB
2005 NISSAN TITAN. PULLING ONTO A HIGHWAY ON RAMP FROM A STOP THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL BROKE. TRUCK WAS STILL DRIVABLE, BUT BY NO MEANS SAFE TO DRIVE. WAS ABLE TO DRIVE TO DEALERSHIP AND DROP OFF. *JB
DT: 2005 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONSUMER STATES ON AUGUST 28, 2005 WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF CONSUMER'S VEHICLE STOPPED SUDDENLY. WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THE VEHICLE SHOOK. THE MORE THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED THE MORE THE VEHICLE SHOOK. CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WENT OFF ROAD. THIS VEHICLE WAS TOO HARD TO CONTROL BECAUSE OF THE SHAKING. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN LOOKED AT FOR SHAKING. THERE WAS A RECALL, AND T RECALL REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. *AK
I WAS DRIVING ON ROUTE "A" STATE BLACKTOP COMING INTO A SHARP CORNER AND WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES THE FRONT WHEELS BEGAN TO SHIMMY VERY HARD. IT CAUSED THE 2005 NISSAN TITAN PICKUP TO LOSE CONTACT WITH THE HIGHWAY CAUSING IT TO LEAVE THE ROAD AND OVERTURN. THE TRUCK WAS TOTALED AND I RECEIVED MINOR INJURIES. AIR BAG AND SEAT BELT SAVED ME. NISSAN KNOWS THEY HAVE A PROBLEM AND I WAS NOT NOTIFIED ABOUT A POSSIBLE BRAKE PROBLEM UNTIL IT WRECKED ME. THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RECALLING ALL THEIR TRUCKS WITH THIS PROBLEM. IF I WOULD HAVE DIED IN THE CRASH, NO ONE WOULD KNOW THE CAUSE. I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY BACK THE TRUCK FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE PROOF OF WARPED ROTORS CAUSING THE ACCIDENT. IT ALSO APPEARED THE REAR BRAKES DID NOT WORK BECAUSE THE ABS SYSTEM WAS CONFUSED? I COULD USE SOME HELP HERE. *NM
DT: THE TRAILER TIRE BLEW OUT WHILE THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING AT 50 MPH. THE TIRE WRAPPED AROUND THE AXLE OF THE TRAILER AFTER THIS. THE TIRE WAS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. THE LOCATION WAS ON THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE. THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT. A GOODYEAR, MARATHON. *AK
I PURCHASED MY BRAND NEW NISSAN TITAN JUNE 16TH 2005 MY HUSBAND AND I DECIDED TO TAKE OUR FAMILY OWN A ROAD TRIP TO TEXAS FOR THE 4TH OF JULY. 2 WEEKS AFTER I RETURNED I HAD ABOUT 5,000 MILES ON THE TRUCK AND NOTICE THAT MY STEERING WHEEL WAS VIBRATING AS I STOPPED ON MY BRAKES, I CALLED SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY SAID THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM BRING IT IN AND WE WILL FIX IT , SO I ASKED WHAT WAS THE COMMON PROBLEM AND SHE SAID THE ROTORS AND BRAKE PADS BURN OUT AND THAT LAST MONTH THEY JUST RECEIVED THE NEW COMPONENT FOR THIS PROBLEM. NOW MY PROBLEM HAVE WITH NISSAN CORP. IS THAT I WAS OWN THE ROAD WITH MY 2 CHILDREN AND HUSBAND SOUNDS SCARY TO ME, IF THEY NEW THAT THIS WAS A PROBLEM WHY NOT DO A NATIONAL RECALL OR EVEN CALL THE CUSTOMERS WHO JUST PURCHASED A NEW TRUCK WITHIN THAT MONTH. BUT NO NISSAN IS TRYING TO COVER THERE BUTTS AND NOT PUT IT OUT TO THE PUBLIC BUT I TELL YOU ONE THING NISSAN CORP. IS LOOKING FOR A BIG FAT LEGAL MATTERS WITH THE CUSTOMERS. *NM
THE CONSUMER EXPERIENCED PREMATURE TIRE WEAR AT 48,000 MILES ON HIS 2005 NISSAN TITAN. *JB THERE WAS TIRE TREAD WEAR OF 20-25% ON EACH TIRE. NISSAN SUGGESTED THAT THIS PROBLEM WAS THE TIRE MANUFACTURER'S RESPONSIBILITY. *SC *JB
DT: THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONTACT SAID DEALERSHIP STATED THERE WAS A DEFECT WITHIN THE BRAKE PADS/ROTORS. THE BRAKE PADS OVERHEATED OR GOT VERY HOT AND WARPED THE ROTORS. WHEN EVER THIS HAPPENED IT CAUSED VIBRATION WHEN STOPPING. VEHICLE WAS SHAKING TREMENDOUSLY, AND IT WAS HARD TO CONTROL VEHICLE ON THE ROAD. ALSO, SAID EVERY 3000-5000 MILES THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE BRAKE PADS, AND THE ROTORS. THIS WAS AN ONGOING PROBLEM. DEALERSHIP INSISTED THERE WAS NO SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. THIS CAUSED WEAR TO THE TWO FRONT TIRES. *AK
ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T HAD AN "INCIDENT" YET, I WORRY ABOUT IT EVERYDAY. MY 2005 NISSAN TITAN HAS THE WORST BRAKES THAT I'VE EVER HAD IN A VEHICLE. THE BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR ON EVERY STOP. SOMETIMES WHILE THE BRAKE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED IT "SKIPS" AND IT FEELS LIKE THE BRAKES RELEASE THEN GRAB AGAIN. THIS TRUCK WAS MEANT TO TOW UP TO 9,000LBS, BUT WHEN I TOWED ABOUT 4,000 AND TRIED TO STOP, I ALMOST RAN INTO SOMEONE. THE BRAKES ARE HORRIBLE WITHOUT TOWING AND BEYOND ACCEPTABLE TOWING ANY WEIGHT. SINCE THAT HAPPENED, I HAVE YET TO TOW ANYTHING ELSE, I'M AFRAID THE TRUCK WON'T STOP. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THE BRAKES AREN'T "WHAT THEY SHOULD BE" BUT THERE'S NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO BECAUSE NISSAN HASN'T ADDRESSED THE PROBLEM. I'M HOPING THAT THIS PROBLEM COULD BE LOCKED INTO. THE DEALER ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE NISSAN ARMADA HAS THE SAME BRAKES AND THE SAME PROBLEMS. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN TITAN. THE INTERIOR LIGHTS ON THE INSTRUMENT CONTROL PANEL FAILED REPEATEDLY. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THE ELECTRICAL FAILURES 38 TIMES. THE OVER DRIVE WHICH IS ELECTRICALLY BOLTED BEHIND THE TRANSMISSION UNIT FAILED TO ENGAGE AND AS A CONSEQUENCE THE VEHICLE IS UNABLE TO SHIFT INTO GEAR. A TECHNICIAN FROM AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE WIRING HARNESS WHICH HAS NOT SUFFICIENTLY REMEDIED THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE HAS EXCEEDED ITS WARRANTY AND THE CONTACT WOULD BE LIABLE FOR THE REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE HIM WITH ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
MOSTLY HIGHWAY DRIVING SINCE NEW. CURRENT MILAGE 4,700 MILES. AT ABOUT 4000 MILES EXTREME SHUDDER AND VIBRATION IN STEERING AND BRAKE PEDAL WHEN BRAKES APPLIED AT SPEEDS ABOVE 20 MILES PER HOUR. SUSPECT FRONT BRAKE ROTORS ARE WARPED.
BRAKE TROUBLE/PER NISSAN REPAIR DEPARTMENT NO PERMENANT FIX AND I WOULD NEED TO BRING THE TRUCK IN EVERY 2500-4500 MILES OR WHENEVER PROBLEM OCCUERS TO HAVE BRAKES REPAIRED
2005 TITAN DEVELOPED PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKES.*MR WHILE BRAKING THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD SHAKE. THE DEALER EXPLAINED THAT THIS WAS DUE TO THE WAY THE ROTORS DISPERSED HEAT WHICH CAUSED THEM TO WARP. *NM
THE FRONT END OF THE NISSAN TITAN TRUCK SHAKES EXTREMELY VIOLENTLY WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. ACCORDING TO THE DEALER THIS IS PROBLEM ON EVERY NISSAN TITAN AND NISSAN IS AWARE OF IT AND PROVIDING A REPAIR KIT OF PARTS, HOWEVER THEY ARE DOING IT EXTREMELY SLOWLY WITH A TERRIBLY INSUFFICIENT SUPPLY OF PARTS FOR THE SCOPE OF THE PROBLEM.
DT: CONTACT STATES AT 2500 MILES THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE WHILE BRAKING. THE ROTORS WERE ROTATED ON THE VEHICLE. THERE IS A NEW BRAKE KIT AVAILABLE, BUT THE SERVICE DEALER AND NISSAN INDICATE THE ROTORS HAVE TO BE TURNED 3 - 4 TIMES BEFORE THEY WOULD REPLACE THE BRAKES. THE ROTORS THAT ARE MANUFACTURED FOR THE VEHICLE ARE TOO SMALL FOR THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE. *AK
AT 941 MILES, 9 DAYS AFTER BUYING THE VEHICLE; THE FRONT BRAKES WOULD MAKE A SOUND WHEN STEPPING ON AND LETTING OFF THE BRAKES. IT ALSO FELT LIKE THEY WERE DRAGGING. A LOT OF BRAKE DUST WAS ALSO NOTED ON THE RIMS. IT FELT AS IF THE FRONT BRAKE PADS WERE WORN OUT. THE DEALER CHECKED ALL 4 BRAKES AND GAVE MY HUSBAND A "REASON" WHY THE PADS WERE WEARING SO SOON. BRAKES ON FRONT FOUND TO BE AT 12MM WITH NO ABNORMAL WEAR...ROTORS WERE SAID TO BE OK AS WELL. ALSO NOTED A SNAPPING NOISE WHEN TURNING LEFT , SLOW TURNS, SHARP TURNS AND WHEN WE ALMOST WOULD COME TO A STOP. DURING ROAD TEST THEY SAID THEY COULD HEAR THE ABS CLICK AND IT WAS NORMAL AS WAS ALL OTHER SUSPENSION. AND FOR SOME REASON THE STATE INSPECTION STICKER HAD NOT BEEN UPDATED PRIOR TO OUR LEAVING THE LOT. *JB
BRAKES AND ROTORS INAPT TO HANDLE VEHICLE WEIGHT AND STOPPING REQUIREMENTS. AT 6,000 MILES FRONT PADS WERE WORN AWAY AND WERE GRINDING INTO ROTOR ,REAR PADS AT 30% REMAINING. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP NOW WAITING 5-7 DAYS FOR PARTS BECAUSE OF AVAILABILITY. CHANGING FRONT ROTORS AND PADS,RESURFACING REAR ROTORS BUT LEAVING OLD PADS ON THEM. NOT SURE IF OLD PARTS AVAILABLE
LOW BRAKE PEDAL SINCE DELIVERY. PEDAL "PUMPS UP" WITH FREQUENT USE AND FADES TO FLOOR WITH INFREQUENT USE (IE; HIGHWAY DRIVING. PEDAL GOES TO FLOOR WITH FIRM APPLICATION OF BRAKES.
NISSAN TITAN PURCHASED IN MARCH, WITH APPROX 4,000 MILES THE TRUCK BEGAN TO SHAKE WHEN BRAKING. THE TRUCK HAS 5,00 MILES NOW AND SHAKES SEVERELY WHEN BRAKING ON A DOWNHILL GRADE AND MANUEVERING CURVY ROADS. IT WAS DIFFICULT AND I BELEIVE UNSAFE TO TRAVEL ANY LONGER WITH THIS VEHICLE. WHEN THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED OF THE SHAKE/SHIMMY THEY INFORMED ME OF A WAITING LIST FOR PARTS AND STATED THAT THEY NEW EXACTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, THAT ALL DEALERSHIPS IN THE AREA HAVE A WAITING LIST FOR THIS PART AND THAT IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. I DISAGREE. LIVING IN AN AREA WITH HILLS AND CURVY ROADS IT IS NOT SAFE TO OPERATE THIS VEHICLE. I WILL NOT BE DRIVING THE NISSAN TITAN UNTIL IT IS REPAIRED. I DID NOT HEAR OF A RECALL AND WAS SURPRISED TO KNOW THAT THE SECRETARY AT THE SERVICE DESK KNEW EXACTLY WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS WITHOUT ANYONE LOOKING AT MY VEHICLE. THIS COULD ENDANGER LIVES.

I PURCHASED A 2005 TITAN 4 DOOR 2 MONTHS AGO. AT APPROX. 3000 MILES IT BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED AT ANY SPEED. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP, WHO AFFIRMED THAT THIS WAS A KNOWN DEFECT PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE, AND THAT I COULD BRING IT IN FOR A TEMPORARY FIX. THEY EXCLAMED THAT THIS WAS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE. I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH THEIR CLAIM, AND AM VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THEIR LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY CONCERNING THIS MATTER.
PURCHASED A NEW 2005 NISSAN TITAN 4-DOOR PICK-UP TRUCK IN FEBRUARY 2005. BOTH THE MANUFACTURER AS WELL AS THE DEALERSHIP KNEW OF AN EXISTING SAFETY PROBLEM REGARDING THE BRAKING SYSTEM OF BOTH 2004 AND 2005 TITAN PICK-UP TRUCK MODELS, BUT FAILED TO ALERT MYSELF OF THE PROBLEM. I HAD TO THREATEN TO SUE THE DEALERSHIP TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL THE MANUFACTURER'S SUGGESTED REPLACEMENT PARTS TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. THE REPLACEMENT PARTS WERE INSTALLED LESS THAN 60 DAYS AGO, AND THE PROBLEM HAS RESURFACED. WHEN I SPOKE WITH 2 SEPARATE NISSAN CORPORATION REPRESENTATIVES, THEY PROVIDED ME FALSE INFORMATION, AND THEY TOLD ME THEY CONSIDERED THE MATTER CLOSED AND IF I WAS NOT SATISFIED THEN I SHOULD CONTACT A LEMON-LAW ATTORNEY! I DEMAND THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER TO REFUND MY MONEY ENTIRELY! THEY FRAUDENTLY SOLD ME A VEHICLE THAT IS NOT SAFE TO BE ON THE ROAD. ADDITIONALLY, 2 ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS REGARDING THE DRIVER'S POWER SEAT AND THE RADIO HAVE SURFACED AND THE BOTH THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER HAVE DONE NOTHING TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS AS WELL.
BRAKES VIBRATING WORPED ROTORS. THIS IS A MOJOR ENGINEERING OVERSITE. THE BRAKE SYSTEM IS NOT ROBUST ENOUGH FOR THE TRUCK. IT IS UNSAFE AND IRRITATING!!*AK
REPEATED REPAIR TO BRAKE SYSTEM 4 TIMES SINCE PURCHASE IN JAN 04 24,000 AND 4 REPAIRS. *AK
2005 NISSAN TITAN WITH A HOST OF SERIOUS ISSUES, OF COURSE THERE WAS THE BRAKE PROBLEM, RADIO WOULDN'T SHUT OFF AND THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS WEAK. THEN THE TIRES WERE BALD AT 25K THE LATEST PROBLEM IS A RATTLING OF THE ENGINE VALVES, TOOK IT THE DEALER AND THE ACKNOWLEDGED THE NOISE BUT SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO UNTIL IT TRIPPED A WARNING LIGHT. *JB
MAJOR BRAKE PROBLEM NEW ROTORS AND NEW BRAKE PADS INCREASED THE PROBLEM NOW A MAJOR PULL TO CENTER. THEY TURNED THE ROTOR ON THE BACK BRAKES. *JB
I HAVE A 2005 NISSAN TITAN FULLY LOADED. I HAVE HAD THE BRAKES CHANGED TWICE. THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW DOES NOT OPERATE PROPERLY. NISSAN WAS AWARE THAT THE BRAKES ON THE TRUCK HAD PROBLEMS AND NEVER TOLD ME WHEN I BOUGHT IT. NISSAN WAS AWARE THAT THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW IS ALSO DEFECTIVE. THERE IS A TSB ISSUED FOR BOTH PROBLEMS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE IS NO FIX FOR THE BRAKES, THAT I WILL HAVE TO CONTINUE TO BRING THE TRUCK IN ABOUT EVERY 3000 MILES AND HAVE THE ROTORS AND PADS REPLACED. I WAS TOLD NISSAN IS LOOKING FOR A FIX. THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW IS THE SAME SITUATION. NISSAN CORPORATE HAS TOLD DEALERSHIPS NOT TO FIX THE WINDOW ISSUE, THEY HAVE NO RESOLUTION TO THE ISSUE. THE WINDOW MAY STOP IN THE DOWN POSISTION OR IN THE UP POSITION. IN MY CASE IT HAS DONE BOTH AND FINALLY IT WOULD NOT GO UP AT ALL. I HAD TO DRIVE WITH THE WINDOW OPEN FOR A DAY UNTIL I COULD GET IT TO A DEALER TO BE LOOKED AT. THE DEALERSHIP HAS TOLD ME THERE IS NO FIX BUT THEY WOULD TRY THERE BEST. *AK
WE PURCHASED A TRUCK FROM NISSAN IN OCTOBER OF 2004. IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MANY TIMES AND IN DECEMBER OF 2004, IT WAS THERE OVER 30 DAYS. THE TRANSMISSION AND THE REAR END HAVE BOTH GONE OUT, WINDOWS DON'T ROLL UP AND DOWN CORRECTLY, RATTLING IN THE CAB WHERE THE VISOR AND GARAGE DOOR OPENERS ARE HELD. THE BRAKE, VDC, TOW, AND ABS SWITCH STAY ON ALL THE TIME. THE BRAKES ARE GOING OUT AND THE WHOLE TRUCK SHIMMIES. NOW IN ADDITION TO THE TRANSMISSION BEING REPLACED ONCE, IT'S SLIPPING AGAIN. NISSAN STATED THEY WOULD PAY FOR THE RENTAL ON THE 30 DAYS, BUT THAT WAS A LIE. THEY SOCKED ME WITH AN $283.00 BILL. $181.00 WAS TO FILL UP THE TANK WITH GAS!!!!!!! THERE ARE ALSO MISSING VALVES ON THE TIRES THEY THEMSLEVES TOOK OFF AND DIDN'T REPLACE AND THE ALARM GOES OFF BY ITSELF WHEN NO ONE IS AROUND. GIVE ME A BREAK...NISSAN STATES THIS DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR THE LEMON LAW. I NEED HELP IN THIS SITUATION. *AK
TL*-THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH FELL OUT OF PLACE ON THE STEERING COLUMN SO SHE WOULD HAVE TO PUT IT BACK IN ORDER TO START THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HINGE THAT HELD THE SWITCH IN PLACE WAS MISSING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 37,000.
