TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL FAILED TO REMAIN STEADY AND VEERED TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THEY ADJUSTED THE SUSPENSION AND ROTATED THE TIRES; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,053.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA. THE CONTACT PURCHASED THE VEHICLE 35 DAYS AGO. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE VARIOUS SPEEDS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, THE CONTACT REALIZED THAT HIS FOOT WAS GETTING STUCK ON THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING THAT LOOKED LIKE AN ELECTRICAL BOX BETWEEN THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND INSPECTED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH THE BOX, WHICH WAS THREE INCHES BY THREE INCHES, HAD NOT BEEN REMOVED. THE CONTACT SPOKE TO THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE TO CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BOX PREVENTED HIM FROM BEING ABLE TO EASILY MOVE HIS FOOT BETWEEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS, THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE MOMENTARILY ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD GRINDING NOISE WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL LEFT OR RIGHT. THE ABNORMAL NOISE WAS MORE PRONOUNCED WHEN MAKING RIGHT TURNS. THE VEHICLE ALSO EXPERIENCED DELAYED ACCELERATION AND DECELERATION. BOTH THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65.
WHILE GOING DOWNHILL AT 30-35 MPH WE STARTED TO COME UPON A RED LIGHT. THE CAR BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN BUT NOT BY MUCH AS IT KEPT GOING AT A STEADY RATE. FINALLY AFTER PRESSING HARD ON THE BRAKES ALMOST TO THE FLOOR THE CAR BEGAN TO STOP. IT EVENTUALLY CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CROSSWALK.

WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH AND ATTEMPTING TO SWITCH FROM THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE CONTACT'S SHOES BECAME LODGED ON A BLACK BOX THAT WAS LOCATED ABOVE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS WORKING UP TO SPECIFICATIONS AND THEY COULD NOT ALTER THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,467.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE CONTACT'S SHOE OCCASIONALLY BECAME STUCK ON A SECTION OF PLASTIC TRIM LOCATED NEAR THE PEDAL. WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED, THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED UNINTENDED ACCELERATION BECAUSE THE DRIVER WAS NOT ABLE TO IMMEDIATELY RELEASE THE PEDAL. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.

THE ENGINE HORSEPOWER INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AFTER THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES, BUT A FAILURE CODE COULD NOT BE PRODUCED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
I HAVE A NISSAN VERSA SL MODEL, THE TRUNK DOES NOT CLOSE PROPERLY. EVERYDAY I HAVE TROUBLE CLOSING THE TRUNK OF MY CAR, THE CAR MAKES A BEEPING SOUND ALARMING ME THAT MY TRUNK IS OPEN, I TRY CLOSING IT AND IT WILL NOT LATCH ON. THE ONLY WAY I CAN CLOSE IT, IS IF I HAVE THE CAR DOOR OPEN. SO I CLOSE THE TRUNK FIRST, THEN I CLOSE THE CAR DOOR IN ORDER FOR MY TRUNK TO CLOSE. THIS IS AN ISSUE AND VERY ANNOYING. PLEASE RECALL THE TRUNK LATCH.
CVT TRANSMISSION, WHINES SHUTTERS SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO EITHER LET OFF OF THE GAS OR GIVE IT MORE GAS FOR IT TO CHANGE GEARS WHEN DRIVING ON THE ROAD. I HAVE HAD IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND SINCE THERE IS NO LIGHT ON THE DASH AND NO CODES NISSAN WILL NOT FIX IT I HAVE HAD IT TO THE SHOP MULTIPLE TIMES
WAS DRIVING ON SOUTH ON HWY 86 IN CALIFORNIA ..I CAME UP ON THE BACK OF A TRUCK AND SLOWED DOWN... I WENT TO PASS TRUCK AND FELT LIKE THE CLUTCH WAS SLIPPING. THEN THE CLUTCH PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. I PULLED OVER AND I PULLED THE PEDAL OUT AND LET GO AND IT SHOT BACK TO THE FLOOR IT FELT LIKE THERE WAS A LARGE SPRING PULLING ON THE PEDAL. I LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD AND SAW OIL SPLATTERS THAT APPEARED TO BE COMING FROM THE SLAVE CYLINDER. THE DEALERSHIP IS TELLING US THAT IT IS ABUSE HOWEVER THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN DRIVEN ON OPEN HIGHWAYS WITHOUT IT BEING NECESSARY TO SHIFT FOR 95% OF ITS SHORT 4400 MILES LIFE ! *TR
THIS CAR HESITATES. I PUSH THE ACCELERATOR ALL THE WAY DOWN AND NOTHING HAPPENS. I JUST ROLL. WHEN I MAKE A LEFT TURN - I HAVE CARS BEHIND ME HONKING AT ME TO GET MOVING, BUT NOTHING WORKS. THEN, SUDDENLY THE CAR SHOOTS FORWARD. THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME AND NOT ONLY ON LEFT TURNS, BUT THEY ARE THE WORST. BEFORE MAKING A LEFT TURN, EVERYONE MAKES SURE THERE IS NO CAR APPROACHING. BUT, EVERY LEFT TURN IS A REAL ISSUE FOR ME, BECAUSE I NEVER KNOW IF THE CAR IS GOING TO MOVE. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO THE DEALER TWICE, ONLY TO BE TOLD IT WAS FINE WHEN THEY TESTED IT AND BRING IT BACK WHEN IT DOESN'T WORK RIGHT. I WAS EVEN TOLD THAT THE BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS ARE CLOSE TOGETHER AND MAYBE I WAS PUSHING BOTH OF THEM AT THE SAME TIME. SO, IT WAS A WOMAN'S CRAZY PROBLEM SHE WAS CREATING HERSELF. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.
I PURCHASED A NEW 2105 NISSAN VERSA 4DR. SEDAN IN JANUARY 2015. I BOUGHT A BASIC CAR, AS I DESIRE. THE CAR HAS NON-POWER WINDOWS AND NON-REMOTE OR POWER DOOR LOCKS. I DISCOVERED LATER THAT THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE ANY WAY ON THE PASSENGER SIDE TO ACCESS THE CAR IF THE DOORS ARE LOCKED. THERE IS NO KEYHOLE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE LOCKED CAR CANNOT BE ACCESSED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE IN AN EMERGENCY (OR IF THE DRIVER'S SIDE IS BLOCKED SUCH AS BY A CAR PARKING TOO CLOSE OR AN OBJECT) . IN MY CASE, I HAVE TWO CHILDREN WHO RIDE IN THE BACK. WHAT MAKES THIS WORSE IS THE CAR HAS A CHILD SAFETY FEATURE THAT MAKES THE DOORS IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN FROM THE INSIDE IF A BUTTON IS PUSHED IN THE DOOR JAMBS (BY A PARENT). IF THE FEATURE IS ENGAGED, A PERSON (PARENT) CANNOT GET ACCESS TO THE CAR EXCEPT THRU THE DRIVER'S DOOR WHICH MIGHT BE BLOCKED. THIS SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES RENDERS THE CAR INHERENTLY UNSAFE IN MY VIEW. NISSAN CUT A CORNER HERE TO SAVE MONEY AND HAS CAUSED THIS SAFETY CONCERN AS A RESULT. THIS CAR SHOULD BE CONSIDERED UNSAFE. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT SHE DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 23.
GAS DOOR RELEASE IS IMMEDIATELY NEXT TO HOOD RELEASE WITH NO DISTINGUISHING TACTILE DIFFERENCES. HOOD RELEASE WAS ACCIDENTALLY PULLED, ALONG WITH GAS DOOR RELEASE. CAR WAS DRIVEN FROM STATION AND, AFTER HITTING BUMP IN ROAD, WAS RELEASED. FORTUNATELY, SPEED WASN'T GREAT ENOUGH FOR THE HOOD TO FLY BACK INTO WINDSHIELD. DESIGN AND LOCATION OF CONTROLS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 5 MPH AND ATTEMPTING TO ENGAGE THE BRAKES, THE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELED TO THE FLOORBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 600.
DELAYED ACCELERATION AND DELAYED DECELERATION. THROTTLE ALWAYS REACTS HALF-SECOND BEHIND PEDAL MOVEMENTS, CAUSING DIFFICULTY PULLING OUT FROM A STOP, AND SHIFTING GEARS, IN CAR WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION. THIS CAUSES CAR TO STALL REGULARLY WHEN PULLING OUT IN FIRST GEAR, RISKING TRAFFIC ACCIDENT!THIS ABUSES THE CLUTCH AND WELL MAKE IT WHERE INCORRECTLY AND WILL REQUIRE CLUTCH REPLACEMENT LONGER SOONER THEN EXPECTED LIFETIME. *TR
SUNLIGHT CAME THRU RIGHT FRONT DOOR WINDOW. HITTING THE SPEEDOMETER/TACHOMETER AREA CAUSING TEMPORARY BLINDNESS IN DRIVER AT 60 MPH. SPEEDOMETER/TACHOMETER HAS A SMALL RING OF SHINY CHROME AROUND EACH. BOTH REFLECTED LIGHT TO THE DRIVERS EYES. FORTUNATELY NO ACCIDENT ACCORDED THIS HAS HAPPENED TWO TIMES SINCE. *TR
