AT 90,000 MILES THE TRANSMISSION STARTED ACTING UP. IT WOULD ACT LIKE IT WAS SLIPPING WHEN YOU TAKE OFF FROM A DEAD STOP. AS TIME WENT BY, AT 114,000 MILES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. AT THE SAME TIME THE TRANSMISSION GOT WORSE. NOT ONLY IT WAS SLIPPING AT TAKE OFF, BUT JERKING AT 20 AND 40 MPH. WHE I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION. THE DEALER WHEN I CHECKED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALSO SAID IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SERVICED EVERY 36,000 MILES. SHE I WHEN IN FOR OIL CHANGES NOTHING WAS SAID PRIOR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ADA NISSAN INC (420 LONNIE ABBOTT BLVD, ADA, OK 74820, PHONE NUMBER: (580) 332-2233) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE REPAIR FEES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,017.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED. THE CONTACT SMELLED A FUEL ODOR AND HEARD A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PLACED IN DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (AUTONATION NISSAN IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA). THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED VEHICLE OWNERS TO SWITCH TO A HIGHER GRADE OF FUEL WHEN SUCH FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED. ANOTHER TECHNICIAN AT THE SAME DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE, BUT REPROGRAMMED THE COMPUTER SYSTEM. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING HOME, THE VEHICLE FELT LIKE IT WAS IN NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE TO ASSIST IF THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. CAR HAS NO STABILITY ON THE ROAD, IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE IM IN A WINDSTORM, AND IN A RAINSTORM IF I HIT STANDING WATER IT WILL THROW ME INTO THE OTHER LANE. IT IS WORSE ON THE FREEWAY AND WILL PUSH ME NEAR THE OTHER LANE.
WHILE STUCK IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC I TOOK MY FOOT OF THE BRAKE AND MY CAR STALLED. NO WARNING WAS GIVEN AND MY POWER STEERING TURNED OFF. I WAS ABLE TO TURN MY CAR BACK ON AND PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. AFTER WAITING FOR A FEW MINUTES TO MAKE SURE IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN I PULLED BACK ONTO THE FREEWAY. WITHIN A FEW FEET WHEN TAKING MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE MY CAR STALLED AGAIN. I WAS REAR ENDED AND HAD TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AGAIN. THE TEMPERATURE WAS 101 AT THE TIME. WHEN SPEAKING TO NISSAN I WAS TOLD TO USE PREMIUM GAS AND ONLY FILL UP HALF A TANK AND WAS SENT AWAY WITHOUT THEM LOOKING AT MY CAR.
A FEW WEEKS AGO WHILE I WAS DRIVING MY CAR SHUT OFF RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET AND WAS UNABLE TO STEER, MY CHILDREN WERE IN THE CAR. I HAS GAS IN THE CAR, THE CAR NEVER OVERHEATED AND THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS ON THE CAR. THIS HAPPENED TWICE ALREADY WITH THE FIRST TIME BEING JULY 15, 2017.
THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AFTER LARGE TRUCK REAR ENDED 2015' NISSAN VERSA KNOCKING AUTO VERY HARD INTO CAR IN FRONT OF IT A STOP LIGHT CAUSING SEVERE INJURY.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, MY CAR ALL OF A SUDDEN STALLED TO THE POINT WHERE I COULD NOT STEER, PRESS ON THE GAS OR THE BRAKE. I HAD TO TURN MY CAR COMPLETELY OFF AND BACK ON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY IN ORDER FOR THE CAR TO WORK AGAIN. THIS HAPPENED THREE TIMES IN A SPAN OF A MILE BEFORE I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET OVER TO THE SHOULDER OF THE FREEWAY. I FELT UNSAFE IN MY VEHICLE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I WAS ON THE FREEWAY IN TRAFFIC AND COULD NOT MOVE MY OWN CAR.
ACCERATION OF THE CAR HESITATES ; CAR JERKS AND HAVE CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. PUT HIGHER OCTANE OF GAS IN CAR AND STILL HAVING SAME PROBLEM.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE; HOWEVER THEY INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 67,320. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
I HAVE CHANGED TRANSMISSION ON 2 OCCASIONS AND STILL HAVING A PROBLEM
THE CAR'S POWER STEERING STOPPED FUNCTIONING, A PS INDICATION ON THE DASH WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO DRIVE IN THIS CONDITION. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS OCCURRED.
TAKATA INFLATORS, FLASHING RED LIGHT, LOOKS LIKE PASSENGER AIRBAG PROBLEM. WHEN I START VEHICLE LIGHT COMES ON, IS NOT SOLID, BLEEPS ALL THE TIME.
HI. I NOTICE THE ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN COMING ON A LOT. WHEN I'M AT A COMPLETE STOP, MY CAR WOULD JUMP LIKE IT WANTS TO CUT OFF (WHICH THANK GOODNESS HASN'T HAPPENED) AND I CAN'T BARELY PICK UP SPEED WHEN IT DOES THAT. ITS BEEN DOING THIS FOR A YEAR NOW AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. I'M WONDERING IF ANYBODY ELSE IS HAVING THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE A 2015 NISSAN VERSA AND ITS ONLY 3 YEARS. I SHOULDN'T BE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH A 3 YEAR OLD CAR WHICH I DO KEEP MAINTENANCE ON.
THE FLOOR ON THE DRIVERS SIDE LEFT, HAS A HOLE UNDER THE CARPET WHERE THE FLOOR MEETS THE WHEEL WELL. SHOE HEELS TEAR THE CARPET CAUSING THE SHOE TO GET CAUGHT WHEN EXITING THE VEHICLE. I HAVE PULLED MY HIP AND KNEE SEVERAL TIME FROM EXITING THE CAR AND HAVING MY SHOE HEEL CAUGHT IN THIS WHOLE. I AM ENTERING TODAY'S DATE BUT THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE.
THE AUTOMOBILE WAS HIT VERY HARD ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. THE DOOR CAVED IN ALMOST TO THE STEERING WHEEL. AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AS EXPECTED. THE AUTOMOBILE WAS SO SEVERELY DAMAGES THAT IT WAS DECLARED A TOTAL LOSS. THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT FREEWAY SPEED (65 TO 70 MPH).
RECALL 15V-507 ..... I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT ON THE FREEWAY ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO BECAUSE MY CAR WOULDN'T STOP AND I RAN INTO THE BACK OF SOMEONE TRYING TO STOP AND NOW INSURANCE IS SAYING I'M 100% AT FAULT. I HAVE REPLACED THE HEAD LIGHTS 5 TIMES IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS . THE LAST SET ONLY LASTED 30 DAYS . I SENT A SET BACK TO SYLVANIA AND THEY TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T FIND A DEFECT IN THE LIGHTS. THE LOW BEAMS WILL GO OUT AND THE HIGH BEAM WILL BE FINE .

" TAKATA RECALL" MY 2015 NISSAN VERSA IS DRIVING SLOW AND THERE IS NO EXCELARATION, THE CAR WONT DRIVE OVER 35 MILES AND THE CAR IS CONSTANTLY DRIVING SLOW. I AM ABLE TO TAKE THE CAR TO O'REILYS BY HOME AND THEY WERE ABLE TO COMPLETE A DIAGNOSTICS ON THE CAR AND THEY ADVISE ME THAT IS WAS A TRANSMISSION ISSUE. I HAD A PRIVATE MECHANIC TO COME TO HOME AND HE ADVISE THE SAME. I CHECK NISSAN OF NORTH AMERICA WEBSITE AND I SEE THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE NISSAN VERSA BUT THAT WAS IN 2015 FOR THE CVT-TRANSMISSION AND THIS HAPPEN TO MY CAR IN JAN 2017. I DIDNOT HAVE ANY WARNINGS ON MY DASH BOARDS, AND I WAS IN TRAFFIC WHEN IT HAPPEND. I FIRST BROUGHT THE CAR IN TO THE DEALERSHIP IN JAN 2015 FOR THE FOOT PEDAL AND THE CAR STAYED THERE ALMOST 2 MONTHS BEFORE THEY FINALLY FIXED IT CORRECTLY AND THEN I NOTICE A RECALL AFTER THAT. I BOUGHT MY CAR BRAND NEW IN DEC 2014 AND THE CAR IS NOT EVEN 2 YEARS OLD FOR THE TRANSMISSION TO BE GONE. I DO NOT HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY AND WHY SHOULD I SINCE IT IS A BRAND NEW CAR. WHEN THE CAR WAS DRIVING SLOW ON THE EXPRESSWAY I HAD MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR AND IT COULD HAVE PLAY OUT WORST. I WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CAR OVER TO THE SIDE LET IT SIT AND THEN I STARTED IT BACK AGAIN DRIVING WITH MY HAZARD LIGHTS ON AND THE CAR KEPT JERKING AND NEVER GOING OVER 35 MILES, THE CAR REVS ON ITS OWN WITHOUT STEPPING ON THE FOOT PEDAL. WHEN I DRIVE THE CAR NOW I DO NOT GO FURTHER THAN 3 MILES FROM MY HOME FOR FEAR THE CAR WILL STOP AGAIN OR I CAN BE IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. I LIVE BY 2 MAJOR EXPRESSWAYS THAT TRUCK USE AND I CANT AFFORD TO TAKE THE CHANCE WITH GETTING HIT FROM BEHIND. TRYING TO MAKE 1 TURN OFF MY STREET THE CAR JUST REVS AND THEN IT SLOWS DOWN AND THEN ALL OF SUDDEN THE CAR WILL SPEED OFF ON IT OWN TO ABOUT 35 MILES.I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME 4,000.00 TO PUT A BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION WHICH I DONT HAVE.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously taken to the dealer, where the fuel pump assembly, the lower control arm, and the electronic parking switch were replaced. Additionally, the contact stated while starting the vehicle, the vehicle made an abnormal sound. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that cylinder #1 had misfired, and the dealer determined that the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was then taken to a transmission specialist, where the catalytic converter was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the catalytic converter was replaced for a second time. Additionally, the contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the vehicle failed to shift to first gear. The vehicle was towed to another dealer, Classic Nissan Newport News (12925 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23608), where the transmission assembly, the ignition coil, and spark plug #1 were replaced. The contact stated while driving after the repair, the check engine warning light illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that while her grandson was occupying the rear passenger's side seat, the seat belt locked and failed to unbuckle. The contact stated that her daughter cut the seat belt and released her grandson. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
WHEN I ACCELERATE MY CAR MAKES A PINGING NOISE,LIKE THE BALL IN A SPRAY CAN. THE DEALER CHECKED THE CAR AND SAID THEY HEARD NO PINGING SOUND. THIS WAS ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO. STILL DOING THE SAME THING. CHANGED THE PLUGS,AND USING HI-TEST GAS NOW, BUT SAME THING. ANYONE HAVE A SOLUTION I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.
OUR NISSAN VERSA HAS HAD TO HAVE ITS TRANSMISSION REPLACED AT 24,711 MILES. WHILE DRIVING TO WORK, THE CAR COMPLETELY DIED WHILE I WAS DRIVING IN TRAFFIC. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED AT THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP. NOW AT 33,XXX MILES IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS GOING BAD AGAIN. WHEN WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP, IT WAS A CERTIFIED USED VEHICLE WITH 87 MILES ON IT. THE ELECTRICAL IN THE CAR IS ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS. OUR STEREO DISPLAY DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK AND THE USB AND CHARGE PORTS ARE ALSO NOT UP TO STANDARD.
2015 NISSAN VERSA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE AT DEALERSHIP WITH RECALL NOTICE 15V-507 ISSUES. *SMD
OUR CAR WAS TRAVELING IN A VERY SLOW SPEED ON AN ON-RAMP OF INTERCHANGE FROM FREEWAY 110 NORTH BOUND TO 105 WEST BOUND IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY. THE TRAFFIC FLOW WAS IN A VERY SLOW MOVING FASHION. SINCE IT WAS AN UPHILL ON RAMP, I HAD TO STEP ON THE GAS PEDAL SLIGHTLY TO KEEP THE CAR MOVING AT A SLOW BUT STEADY SPEED. AS THE TRAFFIC GOT SLOWER, I GENTLY STEPPED ON THE BRAKE TO SLOW DOWN THE CAR. WHILE I WAS HOLDING DOWN THE BRAKE PEDAL, SUDDENLY I HEARD A "CLUNK" NOISE AND FELT A VIBRATION. AT THIS POINT, THE CAR STARTED MOVING ON ITS OWN WITHOUT A SIGN OF SLOWING DOWN. I IMMEDIATELY TRIED TO STEP ON BRAKE WITH FULL FORCE BUT FELT THE BRAKE HAVING NO PRESSURE AT ALL. AS THE CAR CONTINUED TO MOVE FORWARD WITH UNCONTROLLED SPEED, THE ONLY THING I COULD DO AT THAT MOMENT WAS TO VEER THE CAR TOWARDS THE RIGHT EDGE TO AVOID DIRECT IMPACT WITH THE FRONT CAR. BY READING THE OWNER'S MANUAL, I BELIEVED THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM FUNCTION WAS BEING ERRONEOUSLY ACTIVATED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT SINCE THE DRY AND NON-SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITION DID NOT WARRANT SUCH ACTIVATION. AND WHAT MADE THINGS EVEN WORSE WAS, FOR WHATEVER THE REASON, THE CAR WAS MOVING ON ITS OWN IN AN UNCONTROLLED SPEED WHILE THE BREAK PEDAL WAS COMPLETELY LOSING THE PRESSURE DUE TO THE ABS ACTIVATION. THIS VEHICLE WAS BEING RECALLED AND SERVICED FOR SUDDEN ACCELERATION SAFETY CONCERN DUE TO THE LOWER PANEL TRIM DESIGN IN AUGUST. THE LIABILITY INSURANCE CLAIM WAS FILED FOR THE ACCIDENT. THE MILEAGE WAS 8740 AT THE TIME OF ACCIDENT. PHOTOS OF THE ACCIDENT SCENE ARE ATTACHED AND ALONG WITH OTHER DOCUMENTS.
PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT GOES ON SOMETIMES WHEN PASSENGER IS IN THE SEAT. IT SHOULD BE OFF INDICATES PASSENGER AIR BAG WILL NOT WORK. IT GOES OFF AFTER 2-3 MILES IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING ON AND OFF FOR A YEAR
WHEN DRIVING THE CAR AT SPEEDS 40MPH AND ABOVE, THE CAR DOES NOT STAY IN THE LANE. THIS CAR IS CONTINUOUSLY PULLING TO THE LEFT OUT OF THE LANE TOWARDS CARS IN THE MIDDLE LANE, WITH NO CONTROL TO CORRECT, THEN PUSHED TO THE RIGHT OUT OF LANE, BACK AND FORTH MY WHOLE RIDE WITH NO SUBSIDING. THE ISSUE AT TIMES ESCALATES BY GETTING OUT OF CONTROL WHILE DRIVING STRAIGHT ON ANY ROAD, GOING BACK AND FORTH LEFT TO RIGHT VERY FAST AND SHORT BY ITSELF WITH THE STEERING WHEEL CENTERED. FOR THIS ISSUE I'M NEEDING TO WAIT FOR THE CORRECTION AND SLOW DOWN THE CAR. THE FRONT TIRES ARE CONTINUOUSLY GETTING THROWN OUT OF ALIGNMENT AS SOON AS I DRIVE IT FOLLOWING SERVICING. I HAVE HAD 4 SERVICE APPOINTMENTS FOR ALIGNMENTS AND BALANCING WITHIN A 2 WEEK TIME FRAME, REPLACED TIRES, AND BROUGHT TO NISSAN DIRECTLY FOR A DIAGNOSIS WITH NO CHANGE TO THIS SAFETY ISSUE. I DO NOT BELIEVE THE ALIGNMENT IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF THIS SAFETY PROBLEM. IN ADDITION, WHEN A CAR OR ANY VEHICLE DRIVES BY MY CAR ON ANY ROAD, MORE SEVERE ON THE HIGHWAY, MY CAR IS PUSHED ACROSS MY LANE AND THERE IS NO WINDY CONDITIONS. THIS DOES OCCUR ON THE HIGHWAY AND LOCAL STREETS. IT IS ALSO APPARENTLY VISIBLE TO OTHER DRIVERS AS I SEE CARS FROM BEHIND ME MOVE TO THE MIDDLE LANE, SPEED UP AND PASS ME IN THE FAR LEFT OF THEIR LANE, THEN CUT ME OFF. I DO NOT BELIEVE AGAIN THAT THIS IS A WHEEL ISSUE, AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF THIS IS HOWEVER WHAT I DO KNOW IS THAT IT IS NOT SAFE FOR MYSELF OR OTHERS ON THE ROAD. I HAVE AN OPENED COMPLAINT WITH NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND SO FAR THEIR RESPONSE HAS BEEN, GO BACK TO NISSAN FOR ANOTHER ALIGNMENT, TO WHICH I HAVE HAD SEVERAL ALREADY WITH NO CHANGE TO THE ROOT PROBLEM. *TR

FOR THEIR TRANSMISSIONS, SHOCKS, STRUTS, EVERYTHING IN THE CAR. EVER SINCE I GOT THE CAR IN OCTOBER 2016 I HAVE TO BRING IT TO THE SHOP EVERY 2-3 MONTHS, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CAR, OCTOBER 2019 I HAD TO REPLACED THE FAN, BEFORE THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS, THE SHOCKS NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, THE STRUTS TOO, THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYS ON, MULTIPLE PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR.. REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION BEFORE AND THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AGAIN. THE CAR JIGGLES, WADDLE, THE SHOCK, STRUTS, GETS STARTS TO WORN OUT AT 20,000 MILES, AT 50, 60, 70, 80,000 MILES THE CAR EXTREMELY UNSTABLE WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. IT FEELS SO LIGHT, FEELS LIKE ITS WHEELS WILL BREAK OR PULL OFF TO ONE SIDE. CAR IS PHYSICALLY UNSTABLE AND BOUNCE WAY TOO MUCH. THE CAR MOTOR MOUNTS MAKES SO MUCH CLICKING NOISE, BRAKES TERRIBLE. THE BRAKE DOESN'T MAKE THE CAR STOP WITHIN 15FT AT 35 MPH!. I HAVE TO KEEP THE SAME DISTANCE WITH THE CAR IN FRONT IN LOCAL STREET AS IN FREEWAY TO FEEL SAFE. THE BRAKE PEDAL IS ALSO VERY SOFT AND SPONGY, I APPLY ALL THE WAY AND THE CAR STILL KEEPS SLIDING. I OFTEN END UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CROSSWALK. YESTERDAY, I WAS STUCK IN FREEWAY TRAFFIC AND ALMOST HIT THE CAR IN FRONT TWICE BECAUSE THE BRAKE JUST SLOWED DOWN THE CAR FOR A LITTLE BIT EVEN WHEN I ENGAGED HALF WAY, AND IT FELT LIKE THE CAR STILL JERKED AGAINST THE BRAKING FORCE! IT IS NOT OK AND TOTALLY UNSAFE! I REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO A BRAKE RECALL!

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
I RENTED A CAR FROM DOLLAR CAR RENTAL. AS I WAS DRIVING AT THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT, THE TIRE TREAD SEPARATED FROM THE TIRE. I HAVE CONTACTED BOTH THE RENTAL CAR AND THE TIRE MANUFACTURER. THE TIRE MANUFACTURER DID NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF MY CORRESPONDENCE. I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM IN THE PAST. I HAVE ASKED THE RENTAL CAR COMPANY FOR CAR MAINTENANCE RECORDS TO HELP DETERMINE WHETHER IT WAS A MAINTENANCE ISSUE OR A TIRE ISSUE. WHEN I RENTED THE CAR, IT HAD APPROXIMATELY 36,000 MILES. I HAVE TAKEN INTO THE SHOP TWICE WHERE THEY RESET THE ECM THE SECOND TIME WAS TOLD IT WAS VAPOR LOCKING. I AM VERY CONCERNED DUE TO THE FACT I DRIVE WITH CHILDREN IN MY CAR.

I HAVE HAD MY NISSAN VERSA 2015 SV SINCE APRIL OF LAST YEAR WITH A AUTOMATIC CVT TRANSMISSION IT CURRENTLY HAS 20,300 MILES ON IT AND I HAVE TWO PROBLEMS THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE TRANSMISSION ISSUES. I DO NOT HAVE ANY SPECIFIC DATE OF WHEN THESE PROBLEMS OCCURRED THEY STARTED ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO. WHEN I SHIFT FROM PARK TO REVERSE, NEUTRAL, AND DRIVE THE CAR JERKS EXTREMELY HARD . ALSO WHEN I ACCELERATE WHILE DRIVING IT SEEMS LIKE IT HAS PROBLEMS SHIFTING GEARS BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH AND SOMETIMES WILL NOT SHIFT UNLESS I RELEASE THE ACCELERATION PEDAL. THIS IS ESPECIALLY A PROBLEM AND SAFETY ISSUE FOR MYSELF AND OTHERS WHEN I AM GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY AS I CANNOT SPEED UP PROPERLY WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH. EVERY TIME I GET GAS MY CAR CUTS OFF. I PUMPED THE GAS START THE CAR AND DRIVE A COUPLE FEET AND CAR CUTS OFF. ALL COMPLAINTS WERE DISMISSED WITHOUT THE CAR BEING INSPECTED. WE WERE TOLD THE CAR JUST HAD THEIR CERTIFIED PREOWNED INSPECTION AND/OR WE NEEDED TO GET USED TO DRIVING A NEW CAR. THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED ON JULY 4, 2015 WITH 1700 MILES ON IT.

NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED.
WITH 68 MILES ON CAR, A CLICK SOUND IS ALWAYS HEARD EACH TIME THE AIR CONDITIONING BUTTON IS PRESSED TO ON POSITION/LIGHT AND THE ENGINE SMELLS HOT AND GIVES OFF A BURNING SMELL EVERY SINGLE TIME THE CAR GOES OVER 65 MPH/ACCELERATION FROM 60 TO 65MPH OR FROM ANY OTHER SPEED/MPH UP TO 65MPH MAKES THE SMELL OF A HOT ENGINE. THERE IS NO SMOKING BUT THE AIR IN THE CAR SMELLS AT 65MPH SO I GO 60MPH TO PREVENT THE SMELL BECAUSE IT MAKES ME VERY NERVOUS. THE CAR HAS NOT LOST COMPRESSION AT ANY SPEED/CLIMBS HILLS/BUT THE SMELL HAPPENS WHEN CLIMBING A HILL AS WELL AS BEING IN MOTION AT ANY SPEED OR MPH CLIMBING THE STEEP HILLS OF NY. FOR INSTANCE IF THE SPEED LIMIT IS 30MPH AT THE BOTTOM OF A HILL AND 55MPH AT THE TOP OF THE HILL, THE CARS ENGINE WILL SMELL HOT. NO GAGES OR RED LIGHTS OCCUR TO INDICATE OVERHEATING. RADIATOR IS NOT A PROBLEM BECAUSE THERE IS NO LIGHT OR NO STEAM OR SMOKE TO INDICATE THE PROBLEM. THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION. IT IS A STANDARD/MANUAL SHIFT. AND I DID EXPERIENCE THE PEDAL OPERATION COMPROMISED WHEN MY SHOE WAS CAUGHT UNDER THE SIDE PANEL. I CHANGED SHOES THEN THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED....EXCEPT FOR THE RECALL WHICH IS NECESSARY.
I WAS COMING OUT OF MY DRIVE WAY AT 5-10 MPH AND THE CAR ACCELERATED WITHOUT ME PUTTING MY FOOT ON THE GAS. IT WAS NOT A HUGE ACCELERATION BUT I STILL HAVE CONCERNS.
BRAKES GOING TO FLOOR WHEN STARTING CAR. BRAKES GOING GRADUALLY DECLINING TO FLOOR WHEN COMPLETELY STOPPED AND STEADY PRESSURE APPLIED TO BRAKES.
