ADDITIONALLY, THE REVOLUTIONS PER MINUTE INCREASED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000. *TT *TR
CAR ACCELERATED AND RPM GAUGE REGISTERED TO FULL CAPICITY. VERY HARD TO CONTROL, DIFFICULT TO BRING CAR TO A COMPLETE STOP. REQUIRED THE DRIVER TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE WHILE MOVING TO BRING CAR TO A STOP. EMERGENCY BRAKE USED IN ORDER TO BRING CAR TO A STOP. RPM NEEDLE WAS COMPLETELY TO THE RIGHT ONCE CAR WAS STOPPED.*AK
WHILE TRAVELING AND WITHOUT ANY INDICATION VEHICLE WOULD ACCELERATE.*AK CONSUMER STATES ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS WITHOUT ANY WARNING VEHICLE WOULD ACCELERATE, CONSUMER HAD TO PUT GEAR INTO NEUTRAL AND TURN KEY TO OFF POSITION. *JB
