TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. WHILE IDLING AT A STOP LIGHT, THE CONTACT'S CHILD OPENED THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR ALTHOUGH IT WAS LOCKED. THE ISSUE OCCURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE OR REPAIR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE.
DRAIN HOLES IN TOP OF CAR GOT PLUGGED CAUSING INTERIOR DAMAGE. HEAD LINER HAD TO BE REPLACED AT A COST TO MYSELF FOR $1100. GM WOULD NOT BACK ORIGINAL WARRANTY. WAS TOLD TO HAVE DRAIN HOLES "BLOWN OUT" 2X YEARLY. FIRST LEAK OCCURRED WITHIN FIRST YEAR OF OWNERSHIP. MECHANIC ADMITTED THIS WAS A "FLAW" IN DESIGN OF THIS MODEL IN 2006. MAJOR LEAK OCCURRED 10/2009. COLEMAN TOLD ME IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THEIR POLICIES. *TR
