I WAS IN THE ACCIDENT JANUARY 17, 2018 IN MY AIRBAGS DID NOT GO OFF AND IT IN MY SEATBELT DID NOT WORK DID NOT ENGAGE SO WHEN I HIT A TRUCK A LEG SLIPPED UNDERNEATH THE BRAKE PEDAL AND GOT BRUISED REALLY BAD NONE OF THE AIRBAGS WENT OFF IN MY SEATBELT WOULD NOT HOLD ME IN THE SEAT I SLID DOWN THE SEAT SEAT .ON FEBRUARY 9 I HAD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR THE HOSPITAL TO EMERGENCY I HAD AN EMBOLISM THROUGH MY LOAN AND THEY THINK IT CAME FROM MY LEFT LEG THERE'S A BIG CLOT IN MY LEFT LEG NOW AND IN MY LOV ON FEBRUARY 9 I HAD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR THE HOSPITAL THROUGH EMERGENCY I HAD AN EMBOLISM THROUGH MY LOAN AND THEY THINK IT CAME FROM MY LEFT LEG THERE'S A BIG CLOT IN MY LEFT LEG NOW AND IN MY LUNG, I COULD NOT BREATHE AT ALL BECAUSE I HAD NO OXYGEN IN MY BLOOD BECAUSE THE BLOOD CLOT BUT I HAD OVER $10,000 OF DAMAGE ON MY TRUCK AND IN THE AIRBAG DID NOT GO OFF AT ALL NOR DID THE SIDE AIRBAGS GO OFF ON JANUARY 17, 2018 IN NORTH CAROLINA THEY HAD A GIANT SNOWSTORM I CAME ON THE ROAD UP TO THE HIGHWAY IN MARKSVILLE N.C. IN THE CAR SLID INTO ANOTHER TRUCK FLIPPED AROUND THREE TIMES AND LANDED IN THE DITCH WITH THE WHEELS OFF THE GROUND I DIDN'T REALIZE TILL AFTER THAT THE BRUISE ON MY LEG HAD CAUSED THE CLOT. *DSY* *BF *TT *TR
DRIVERS SIDE WIDOWS CLIPS BREAK WHEN WINDOW IS COLD IN WINTER. WINDOW DOES NOT GO UP OR DOWN. DEALER INDICATED THEY HAVE SEEN THIS QUITE A BIT ON OTHER 2016 RAM 1500. I ASKED IF THEY ARE GOING ISSUE A RECALL TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY SAID PROBABLY NOT SINCE IT'S ONLY IN THE WINTER AND ONLY IMPACTS COLD WEATHER VEHICLES. WHEN ASKED WHAT TO DO TO FIX IT THEY SAID DON'T USE THE WINDOW WHEN IT'S COLD. POOR DESIGN ON 2016 WINDOW MOTOR AND WON'T ISSUE A FIX. SHOTTY ENGINEERING AND PRODUCT UPLIFT.
2016 RAM 1500 4WD SHAKES AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OF 60+ MPH. STARTED HAPPENING AFTER ABOUT 30,000 MILES AND THE TRUCK NOW HAS 75000. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY POSTS/BLOGS ONLINE ABOUT THIS ISSUE. THE SHAKING COMES AND GOES ABOUT EVERY 1/2 MILE. WILL RIDE FAIRLY SMOOTH THEN IT REALLY STARTS SHAKING AND FEELS LIKE IT IS UNDER THE CENTER OF THE TRUCK. IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE STEERING WHEEL. THEN AFTER ABOUT A 1/2 MILE IT MOSTLY GOES AWAY, IN ANOTHER 1/2 MILE IT COMES BACK AND THE PATTERN CONSTANTLY REPEATS. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 3 TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. THEY HAVE REPLACED BOTH REAR UPPER AND LOWER TRAILING ARMS, 2 SETS OF ALL NEW TIRES, ONE SET NORMALLY BALANCED AND ONE SET WAS ROAD FORCE BALANCED, HAVE CHANGED OUT WHEELS, REPLACED SHOCKS, AND STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE TRAILING ARMS UNDER WARRANTY THE REST HAS BEEN PAID FOR BY ME OUT OF POCKET. IT IS A DRIVE TRAIN ISSUE HOWEVER THE DEALERSHIP HAS STOPPED LOOKING INTO THE PROBLEM. I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED AS I HAVE NO RECOURSE TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND CAN'T KEEP PAYING FOR ALL THESE PARTS OUT OF POCKET. IT IS NOT SAFE GOING DOWN THE INTERSTATE IN THE RAIN TAKING CORNERS WHEN IT STARTS SHAKING. I HAVE RECEIPTS FOR EVERYTHING AND CAN GET DEALER DOCUMENTATION IF NEEDED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500 ECO DIESEL. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, THE CONTACT EXITED WHILE IN PARK AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL AWAY. THE VEHICLE DIDN'T GO INTO REVERSE UNTIL THE CONTACT WAS 20 FEET FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE STRUCK ANOTHER PARKED VEHICLE WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT FENDER AND THE DRIVER'S DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SPITZER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF HOMESTEAD (30101 S DIXIE HWY, HOMESTEAD, FL 33032, (305) 363-1645) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE AND THAT THE FAILURE WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLICATED IN ORDER TO KNOW WHAT CAUSED THE FAILURE. ADDITIONALLY, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION AFTER STOPPING THE VEHICLE AND PLACING THE SHIFTER IN THE PARK POSITION. AFTER THREE ATTEMPTS, THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000. *TT
cruise control difficult to set sometimes. When set, cancel button does not shut cruise control off.Truck continues to keep speed rate going. This has been a continual problem from purchase.
PUT TRUCK IN PARK. LEFT THE MOTOR RUNNING. GOT OUT WENT INTO SHOP CAME BACK OUT A COUPLE OF MINUTES LATER AND TRUCK HAD ROLLED BACKWARDS AND STRUCK A TELEPHONE POLE. WHEN I OPENED THE DRIVERS DOOR THE GEAR SELECTOR SAID IT WAS IN REVERSE.
ON 12/23/2017 WHILE TRAVELING DOWN A STATE ROUTE AT 55 MPH I TRIED TO ROLL THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW DOWN, WINDOW DETACHED FROM THE CLIPS AND FELL ALL THE WAY DOWN CAUSING ME TO TO TAKE MY FOCUS, AND EYES OFF THE ROAD AND SWERVE TOWARDS THE CENTER LINE. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DODGE DEALER TO HAVE THE WINDOW PUT BACK IN THE CLIPS. ON 12/30/2017 THE VEHICLE DID THE SAME EXACT THING. AGAIN TOOK BACK TO THE DEALER AND HAD TO HAVE WINDOW PUT BACK IN THE CLIPS.
MY TRUCK HAS UNDER 20,000 MILES, AND I HAVE HAD AN ELECTRICAL FIRE UNDERNEATH MY DRIVERS SEAT, THAT CAUSED THE WHOLE TRUCK TO FILL WITH SMOKE. LESS THAN 2 WEEKS LATER, MY PASSENGER SIDE FRONT WINDOW FELL OFF THE TRACK AND INTO THE DOOR, DURING A HEAVY SNOWSTORM, THROWING SLUSH, AND SNOW INTO MY PASSENGER'S FACE.*BF * *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 75 MPH, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE DROPPED AND THE REAR END RAISED 18 INCHES. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE WAS AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO CHECK THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND DROVE HOME. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES WITHIN THE PAST SIX MONTHS. THE DEALER (PATRIOT CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP, RAM, 916 S GEORGE NIGH EXPRESSWAY, MCALESTER, OK 74501) INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE AIR SUSPENSION PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT TO CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF THE OWNER'S MANUAL TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AFTER ACCIDENT ON DEC17 2017 WAS HIT IN LEFT FRONT AND LEFT SIDE OF TRUCK. MY WIFE WERE BOTH INJURE DUE TO AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. CONTACT DODGE CORP. OFFICE HAVE NOT HEARD NOTHING FROM THEM AS OF DATE WAS HIT IN TRAFFIC. *DSY. *BF *TR *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHEN THE CONTACT STARTED THE VEHICLE, THE FUEL GAUGE WENT TO EMPTY AND THE FUEL SENSOR AND ENGINE WARNING INDICATORS FLASHED. THE DEALER (DON JACKSON CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM, 3950 JONESBORO RD, UNION CITY, GA 30291, (770) 969-7229) WAS NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT MADE SEVERAL CALLS, BUT WAS UNABLE TO SCHEDULE A DIAGNOSTIC APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,550.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, IT BEGAN TO ROLL AWAY AND CRASHED INTO A TREE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE KNOB SHIFTER WAS IN THE PARK POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A COLLISION CENTER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. TURNERSVILLE JEEP CHRYSLER DODGE RAM (3100 NJ-42, SICKLERVILLE, NJ 08081) STATED THAT AN INVESTIGATOR WOULD BE ASSIGNED TO THE CASE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 19,000.
MULTIPLE TIMES NOW MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN UNABLE TO START. AFTER JUMPING THE VEHICLE, IT WILL STAY RUNNING. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND LEFT IT THERE FOR 3 DAYS. (PALMEN MOTORS KENOSHA, WI) THERE WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. IN THE PROCESS, THEY CHARGED THE BATTERY. WITHIN A FEW WEEKS, THE BATTERY WAS BACK DEAD AND THE VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE JUMPED TO START. THE DEALERSHIP IS UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM AND I HAVE AN INOPERABLE VEHICLE. IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. (30,000 MILES)
PLACED VEHICLE IN PARK AS IT SAT IN PARKING SPACE BESIDE THE GARAGE, WITH DRIVERS SIDE DOOR CLOSE TO EXTERIOR WALL. VEHICLE WAS RUNNING AT THE TIME. I WAS EXITING VEHICAL WHEN IT BEGAN TO MOVE FORWARD. RESULTING IN MY RIGHT LEG BEING TRAPPED WITHIN THE DOOR AS THE TRUCK DOOR HIT THE WALL OF THE GARAGE. I WAS THEN DRAGGED AND CRUSHED BETWEEN THE VEHICLE AND EXTERIOR WALL OF GARAGE, UNTIL MY BODY CLEARED THE END OF THE GARAGE AND I WAS RELEASED. UPON INSPECTING THE VEHICLE I FOUND THE TRANSMISSION WAS IN DRIVE INSTEAD OF PARK WHERE I HAD LEFT IT.
EXHAUST MANIFOLD SOUNDS LIKE ITS LEAKING AT START UP
WHILE SERVICING A CUSTOMERS 2016 RAM 1500 PICK UP PULLED TRUCK UP TO DOOR,PLACED KNOB SHIFTER IN TO PARK, GOT OUT AND WALKED UP BESIDE TRUCK AS I GOT TO L/F WHEEL TRUCK STARTED TO MOVE FORWARD TURNED AROUND TO GET BACK IN TRUCK SHOWED TO BE IN DRIVE. TRUCK PROCEDED TO ROLL THROUGH DOOR AND CAME TO A STOP. NO WAN WAS INJURED DAMAGE WAS LIMATED TO TRUCK AND DOOR.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK RAM WITH THE AWESOME TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS YOU HAVE PROVIDED ME WITH MY PARKING SENSORS IN MY 2016 RAM. AFTER 6 TRIPS TO THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED ALMOST ALL THE SENSORS AND THE CONTROL MODULE. YOUR ANSWER IS TO TURN OFF YOUR SENSORS WHEN IT'S NOT SUNNY AND DRY OUT BECAUSE RAIN!!!! CAN AFFECT AN OUTDOOR SENSOR. SO ANYTIME IT RAINS I NEED TO TURN MY SENSORS OFF AND TURN THEM BACK ON WHEN ITS DRY. NOW EXPLAIN TO ME WHY I WOULD WANT TO BUY A FIAT/CHRYSLER PRODUCT.
TRUCK SHUTDOWN WHILE DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY @ 65 MPH WITHOUT ANY OTHER SYMPTOMS. HAD TO COAST TO SIDE OF BUSY ROAD. SERVICE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL FLASHED AS WELL AS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THE TRUCK NEVER STUTTERED OR LOST ANY POWER PRIOR TO THIS. DEALERSHIP STATES THAT IT IS BAD DIESEL FUEL. REPLACED HPFP BUT TRUCK WILL STILL NOT START. CHRYSLER HAS INSTRUCTED DEALER TO REPLACE ENTIRE FUEL SYSTEM. THIS HAS NOT BEEN DONE YET BECAUSE CHRYSLER WILL NOT WARRANTY EVEN THOUGH THE TRUCK IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY.
ENGINE SEIZED UP.
GOODYEAR WRANGLER SR-A TIRES THAT CAME ON THE TRUCK FROM NEW WERE NOT HOLDING PRESSURE. ONE IN PARTICULAR AD TO BE AIRED UP EVERY FEW DAYS. DEALER COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM, LOCAL TIRE SHOP ALSO COULD NOT FIND A HOLE. THE TIRE BECAME A FLAT WHILST WE WERE IN AN AREA WITH NO CELL SERVICE (NO WAY TO CONTACT ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE) THEREFORE THE SPARE WAS PUT ON. THE ENTIRE SPARE (A DIFFERENT SIZE FROM THE REST OF THE TIRES/WHEELS) FELL OFF THE NEXT DAY. A STUD ON THE HUB WAS COMPLETELY SHEARED. I WAS DRIVING LESS THAN 10 MPH. CHRYSLER SAID THAT BECAUSE WE PUT THE SPARE ON, IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. SEVERAL ISSUES HERE; -ORIGINAL TIRES SHOULD NEVER HAVE FAILED -SPARE WHEEL HAD A DIFFERENT ROLLING RADIUS -WHY PUT A JACK/SPARE IN THE TRUCK IF ITS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY WHEN YOU USE IT?
HAD MY TRANSMISSION REPLACED AT 16000 MILES BECAUSE EVERY TIME YOU STOPPED OR TOOK OFF FROM A RED LIGHT IT FELT LIKE YOU WERE GETTING REAR ENDED, AND HERE WE ARE 5000 MILES LATER AND IT'S DOING IT AGAIN AND NOW WE HAVE TO BATTLE RAM AGAIN TO GET THIS ONE REPLACED . I HATE THIS TRUCK AND THIS COMPANY WHAT'S SAD IS DODGE AND RAM IS ALL WE HAVE EVER OWNED AND NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM AT ALL .
THE TRUCK WAS PUT INTO PARK WITH THE KEY IN THE IGNITION AND THE ENGINE RUNNING. IT WAS PARKED IN A RESTAURANT PARKING LOT. THEN AROUND FIVE MINUTES LATER, IT WENT INTO REVERSE AND BEGAN ROLLING BACKWARDS. IT SEEMED TO ACCELERATE. I HAD TO JUMP IN AND SLAM ON THE BRAKE TO STOP IT. I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS COULD OCCUR, BUT HAVE RECENTLY LEARNED OF RECALLS FOR SIMILAR SITUATION WITH THE TRUCK IN THE PARKED POSITION, BUT GOING INTO GEAR. OUR VIN WAS NOT RECALLED. THERE WERE WITNESSES TO THIS EVENT.
THE THREE WAY COOLANT VALVE FAILED. CAR HAS ABOUT 59000 MILES. I NOTE A REVIEW OF THE INTERNET REVEALS THAT THIS PROBLEM IS VERY COMMON AND CERTAINLY SHOULD NOT HAPPEN IN SUCH LOW MILES. THE VALVE PROBLEM APPEARS ONGOING. IN 2013 THERE WAS A RECALL FOR RAM TRUCKS FOR A SIMILAR ISSUE. CLEARLY IT HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED. SYSTEMS CAN FAIL AND WINDSHIELD DEFROSTERS WILL NOT WORK CREATING AN EXTREME HAZARD DURING DRIVING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE ADDING FUEL TO THE VEHICLE, THE FUEL PUMP NOZZLE BECAME STUCK IN THE FUEL TANK FILLER TUBE. THE CONTACT HAD TO REMOVE THE NOZZLE FROM THE FUEL TANK BY TWISTING AND PULLING WITH FORCE EACH TIME THE FUEL TANK WAS FILLED IN ORDER TO RELEASE THE FUEL PUMP NOZZLE. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH VICTORVILLE MOTORS (14617 CIVIC DRIVE, VICTORVILLE, CA 92394, (760) 733-8484), BUT THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING FOR THEM TO DIAGNOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO HAVE THE FUEL TANK INSPECTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE TAILGATE DROPPED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HAYES CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF LAWRENCEVILLE 719 DULUTH HIGHWAY 120, LAWRENCEVILLE, GA 30046, BUT THE DEALER COULD NOT PROVIDE A DEFINITIVE DIAGNOSIS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE THE LATCHES AND CONTINUE TO REPLACE PARTS UNTIL THE FAILURE WAS RESOLVED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED A CASE FOR THE CONTACT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,096.
THE OEM TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER DOES NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH BRAKING POWER TO A TOWED TRAILER. THE TOWED SINGLE AXLE TRAVEL TRAILER WEIGHS JUST UNDER 4,000LBS FULLY LOADED. ALL GAIN AND TRAILER TYPE SETTINGS ON THE CONTROLLER PRODUCE THE SAME LEVEL OF BRAKING TO THE TRAILER AT ANY SPEED FROM IDLE TO 25-30MPH OR FASTER WHEN USING THE MANUAL BRAKE LEVER ON THE CONTROLLER. FACTORY OWNER'S MANUAL DESCRIBES THE PROCESS FOR SETTING THE GAIN IS TO MOVE THE MANUAL BRAKE LEVER TO FULL BRAKING SO THE WHEELS ON THE TOWED TRAILER LOCK UP AT 25MPH AND THEN REDUCE THE GAIN UNTIL JUST BEFORE TRAILER WHEELS LOCK UP. RAM DEALERSHIP SAYS THAT THE CONTROLLER WILL NOT LOCK UP THE TRAILER WHEELS WITH THE MANUAL BRAKE LEVER BECAUSE THE COMPUTER READS THE SPEED OF THE TRUCK, AND IF FULL BRAKING ISN'T NEEDED, IT WON'T APPLY IT. THIS IS IN DIRECT CONTRADICTION WITH THE INFORMATION IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL. THE OEM BRAKE CONTROLLER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, AND THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE TRAILER BRAKES ARE NOT GETTING THE PROPER AMOUNT OF POWER TO SAFELY STOP THE VEHICLE WHILE TOWING. THE CONTROLLER WILL BARELY SEND ENOUGH BRAKING POWER TO SLOW AND STOP THE VEHICLE AT IDLE ROLLING SPEEDS OF 5-10MPH. AFTER SEARCHING ONLINE FORUMS, NUMEROUS PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUES WITH THEIR RAMS MANUFACTURED IN MODEL YEAR RANGES FROM 2010 TO 2016.
BLOWER MOTER STOP WORKING FOR THE 2 TIME FOR THE AC AND HEAT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IDLING AND THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS PLACED IN PARK, THE CONTACT WALKED AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE. SUDDENLY, THE VEHICLE INADVERTENTLY ROLLED BACK IN REVERSE. THE CONTACT PROCEEDED TO THE DRIVER'S SIDE TO STOP THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO ANOTHER PARKED VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS SMASHED IN BETWEEN THE LAMP POST AND ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE LEGS THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A TOW YARD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT PREVIOUSLY, THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED ABNORMAL DYSFUNCTION. THE TRUCK WOULD NOT START AND I COULD NOT STOP IT BECAUSE IT WAS BEGINNING TO FLOAT. THE VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS INTO THE LAKE, DESPITE BEING IN PARK. THE ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION MUST HAVE MOVED FROM PARK TO NEUTRAL OR REVERSE TO ALLOW THE VEHICLE TO ROLL BACKWARDS. THE ENTIRE VEHICLE NEARLY SUBMERGED.
