TAIL GATE OPENED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD
CRUISE ENGAGES INTERMITTENTLY WHEN IN MOTION, ENGAGES PROPERLY 50% OF THE TIME, NOT AT ALL AT OTHER TIMES. PROBLEM WAS FIRST OBSERVED AT 26,000 MILES.
THERE IS AN OPEN RECALL ON THESE VANS (WE HAVE 3 OF THEM) THAT RAM HAS NOT DETERMINED A REMEDY FOR. I HAVE CONTACTED THEM AND HAD ONLY 1 CORRESPONDENCE RETURNED, BASICALLY SAYING THEY DO NOT HAVE AN ANSWER. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 RAM 1500 CLASSIC. THE CONTACT INITIALLY RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V757000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) HOWEVER, THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE CONTACT HAD TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO NAPLETON'S NORTHLAKE CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (3701 NORTHLAKE BLVD, LAKE PARK, FL 33403) ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND EACH TIME THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALER THAT THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AS MONTH'S WENT BY, COOLANT BEGAN TO LEAK OUT OF THE EXHAUST AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO OVERHEAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS AS THE TEMPERATURE INDICATOR WOULD SHOW THE VEHICLE RUNNING HOT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS THEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED TO NO LONGER DRIVE THE VEHICLE; THEY OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE FOR HER FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 28,000.
THE PASSENGER SEAT SENSOR WAS NOT GOING OFF WHEN SOMEONE WAS SITTING THERE NOT WEARING A SEATBELT, WHILE I WAS DRIVING.
DIESEL ECODIESEL ENGINE CATASTROPHIC FAILURE WHILE DRIVING IN MOUNTAINOUS AREA. LOST ALL POWER IMMEDIATELY AND RESULTED IN INTERFERENCE WITH STEERING, BRAKES, AND NEED TO MOVE OFF OF THE ROADWAY TO AVOID OTHER TRAFFIC. VEHICLE ONLY HAS 11,300 MILES, FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING.
WATER LEAKING INTO STORAGE AREA UNDER BACK SEAT DEALERSHIP REPLACED BRAKE LIGHT ASSEMBLE AND GASKET ON REAR CAB BUT WATER STILL PRESENT AFTER RAINFALL OR CARWASH WHEN VEHICLE IS PARKED ALSO NOTED SEAT BOLTS AND OTHER PARTS UNDER SEAR HAVE RUST ON THEM. *TR
I ENTERED MY VEHICLE 2018RAM1500 THIS MORNING AFTER IT HAD BEING STORED INSIDE MY GARAGE OVERNIGHT. I SAT DOWN, PRESSED THE BRAKE AND WAS ABOUT TO START IT WHEN I NOTICED THE SHIFTER DIAL WAS ON 'R' AND BEGAN BEEPING CONTINUOUSLY. I USED THE IGNITION BUTTON TO SWITCH FROM 'OFF' "ACC" TO 'START' AND BACK/FORTH AND PRESSING ON THE BRAKE UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION TO 'P'. ONCE IN 'P' I PRESSED THE BRAKE AND THEN STARTED THE TRUCK. WHEN I PROCEEDED TO MOVE ON REVERSE OUT OF MY GARAGE, IT BEGAN BEEPING CONTINUOUSLY AND FLASHING TWO MESSAGES ON THE DISPLAY , "SERVICE SHIFTER" FOLLOWED BY "SERVICE TRANSMISSION SHUT OFF ENGINE TO ENGAGE PARK" THEN MY RADIO BLACKOUT. I COULD STILL HEAR MUSIC AND WAS ABLE TO CONTROL IT BUT THERE WAS NO DISPLAY.
I RECEIVE SEVERAL RECALL NOTICES ON EGR COOLING SYSTEM AND DEALERS COMPLAIN THEY DON'T HAVE PARTS TO DO REPLACEMENT. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON OVER A YEAR. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE HAVE BEEN FIRES AS A RESULT. CAN YOU INVESTIGATE THIS SITUATION. DEALERS IN REDDING, RED BLUFF, AND CHICO,CA SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE PARTS AND DON'T KNOW WHEN THEY WILL GET THEM. THANK YOU.
ECODIESEL ENGINE FAILED AT 38,000 MILES. MAIN JOURNAL BEARING ALLOWED CRANKSHAFT TO SLIP. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON A HIGHWAY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. EXPERIENCED SEVERE ENGINE SHAKE.

The engine ticking constantly as well as an electrical issue with the radio, heating, ac unit, control panel in dash that has all of this in it constantly changes goes haywire, won't let you do anything to fix it. It flips from setting to setting as well as different screens and the cargo lights have a habit of staying on an draining the battery. The engine tick has been like that for i dont know how long but it seems all the ram 1500s have that same tick, the control panel started acting crazy about 2 months ago, the battery being drained this is the 2nd battery I bought in 2 yrs due to this issue. Not sure about the cargo light when that started. It's pretty crappy we use out hard earned money to purchase what we believe to be a great vehicle only to find its made so bad to have all these issues and no recalls on them. I'm sure I speak for all ram 1500 owners ram should take better care of their customers and the issues in which their products malfunction and fix the issue instead of leaving us high an dry, broke down along the road due to poor production. I'd like to see these issues fixed but not on my experience since the issue comes straight from the manufacturer.
I BOUGHT MY 2018 RAM 1500 EXPRESS CREW CAB 4X4 A YEAR AND 2 MONTHS AGO. IN ABOUT A MONTH AFTER PURCHASE I GOT A STAR-SHAPED CRACK ON MY WINDSHIELD. IN A FEW DAYS I SLIGHTLY HIT THE WINDSHIELD WITH A WIPER TO REMOVE A SNOW FROM IT. AND THAT STAR-SHAPED CRACK SUDDENLY WENT ALL WAY THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD, FROM SIDE TO SIDE. I REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD WITH THE OEM MOPAR ONE, IDENTICAL TO THE FACTORY ONE. A FEW DAYS AGO I WAS DRIVING THROUGH A LITTLE TOWN WHERE I WORK, MAINTAINING THE SPEED OF 30 MPH DUE TO THE LIMIT. SUDDENLY I HEARD SOMETHING (VERY FAR FROM SIGNIFICANTLY HEAVY) HIT MY WINDSHIELD. I'VE GOT A 3-4 INCH CRACK FROM THE BOTTOM RIGHT EDGE (PASSENGER SIDE). I CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, AND IT'S REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME TO GO TO THE AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE SERVICE MANAGER AT THE DEALERSHIP SHOWED ME THERE IS A TINY, NEEDLE TIP SIZE ROCK CHIP, ABOUT A COUPLE INCHES FROM THE EDGE ON THE CRACK. HE SAID, THERE'S NO ISSUE WITH ANYTHING ABOUT THE WINDSHIELD ITSELF AND STATED THAT I HAVE TO REPLACE IT ON MY OWN. I CALLED BACK THE MANUFACTURER AND GOT THE RESPONSE THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME IN SUCH A CASE. BUT AS A PART OF THE COMMON SENSE: IF THE WINDSHIELD GETS CRACKED SO EASILY, FROM THE CONSUMER'S STANDPOINT THERE'S AN OBVIOUS MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND SIGNIFICANT DEVIATION FROM THE DEFINED QUALITY AND SAFETY STANDARDS.
AIR SUSPENSION GIVES OUT WILL AT HIGH RATES OF SPEED. IT BECOMES UNSAFE TO DRIVE. AND IS NOT RELIABLE TO BE ON THE ROAD AS NOT HAVING SUSPENSION IN A NEW VEHICLE AT HIGH OR SLOW RATES OF SPEED IS A SEVERE SAFETY ISSUE. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAD HAPPENS AND WILL BE IN THE SHOP AGAIN FOR A QUICK FIX BY THE DEALER. I WILL BE CONTACTING WA STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL TO DO A LEMON LAW AS THIS FALL IN THE UN SAFE CATEGORY.
THE AIR SUSPENSION FAILS AND THE FRONT END GOES DOWN AND ITS A VERY ROUGH RIDE .WITH IN 28000 K MILES IT HAS GONE BACK TO REPAIR THREE TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM. CALLED RAM HELP CENTER THEY WONT TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK OR DO RECALL .BIG SAFETY PROBLEM. *LN*JB
I WANT TO REPORT A SAFETY CONCERN. THE CONCERN IS ALREADY AWARE BY THE MANUFACTURER BUT I WANT TO ADDRESS THE POTENTIAL RISK IT PUT OUR FAMILY IN. THE RECALL IS KNOWN AS THE VB! OR NHTSA # 19V-757. WE BOUGHT THIS TRUCK TO HAVE A NICE AND RELIABLE CAR TO TRANSPORT OUR 1 YEAR OLD CHILD IN. OUR LAST 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LEFT US STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RODE WITH OUR KID DUE TO THE COMPUTER TELLING ALL INJECTORS TO STAY OPEN AND RESULTING IN THE MOTOR HYDRO-LOCKING ITSELF. WE TOOK OUT FINANCING TO PURCHASE AND THE GREAT 2018 ECODIESEL DODGE RAM. JUST 2 MONTHS INTO OWNING THIS MY WIFE LOST ALL POWER GOING DOWN THE FREEWAY. SHE REPORTED MASS AMOUNT OF SMOKE COMING FROM THE HOOD AND THANK GOD SHE MANAGED TO MERGE OVER ALL LANES AND TO THE BEST OF HER ABILITY WITH NO POWER GOT THE TRUCK OFF THE HIGHWAY BY ABOUT 5 FEET AND THEN QUICKLY TURNED OFF THE MOTOR AND DISTANCED HER SELF FROM THE TRUCK. SHE CALLED ME IN COMPLETE PANIC. THIS STORY WOULD BE MUCH DIFFERENT IF OUR CHILD WAS STRAPPED INTO THE CAR SEAT ON THIS PARTICULAR DRIVE. SINCE THIS OCCURRENCE THE TRUCK HAS BEEN PARKED IN OVER FLOW AT MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND CONTINUES TO SIT UNTIL FIAT DISCOVERS A CORRECT REPAIR TO THE CRACKING EGR. I WARN YOU TO ALL YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS THAT YOU HAUL DOWN THE ROAD IN YOUR ECODIESEL. THIS IS A REAL CONCERN! DEALERSHIP HAS CONFIRMED THIS WAS A RESULT OF THE VB1 RECALL. THEIR WAS NO EXTERIOR DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK AS THE MOTOR WAS QUICKLY SHOT OFF. THE INTAKE MANIFOLD NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, AND A NEW TURBO IS ALSO NEEDED. I AM NO SURE OF WHAT OTHER INTERNAL ENGINE COMPONENTS ARE NEEDED REPLACEMENT.
Rear backup camera freezes the display or displays blue screen while backing up. Open recall on the year of vehicle but not under this VIN. Vehicle has been doing this for a long time and seems just recently the recall was started. A possibly unrelated issue is happening where the uconnect does “ghost button pressing” cuts heat, turns on ac, changes clock, settings etc. very unsafe as youre forced to turn heat or ac back on while driving multiple times in a short session of driving
GOT THE RECALL, TOOK IT TO MY DEALER AND THEY SAID IT'S NOT MUCH OF A PROBLEM, AND WHEN THE FIX IS AVAILABLE THEY WOULD LET ME KNOW. WENT ONLINE AND SEEN SEVERAL OF THE TRUCKS LIKE MINE HAVE BEEN TOTALED FROM A FIRE, AND THEY BURN PRETTY FAST. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FIX SHOULD BE AVAILABLE SOMETIME IN APRIL.
The contact owns a 2018 Ram 1500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V406000 (Fuel System, Diesel) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
FLASHING DASH LIGHTS TPMS WARNINGS TOOK TRUCK IN AND WAS TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG FEW MONTHS LATER TRUCK CAUGHT ON FIRE IN MY DRIVEWAY,CAUSE WAS UNKNOWN BUT ADJUSTER SAID POSSIBLE WIRING HARNESS, TRUCK WAS PARKED AND NOT RUNNING.*DT *TP
TRUCK LEAKS SOMEWHERE. IT IS IN THE SHOP RIGHT NOW FOR THE 3RD TIME FOR THE LEAK. GOT TOLD IT WAS FIXED 2 TIMES ALREADY AND IT STILL LEAKED. THE TRUCK HAS HEATED BACK SEATS AND THAT'S WHERE THE TRUCK HOLDS WATER, UNDERNEATH THE BACK SEAT STORAGE. I WON'T USE THE HEATED BACK SEATS CAUSE MY CARPET STAYS WET WHEN IT'S RAINING. THERE IS ALSO A SUBWOOFER UNDER THE BACKSEAT WHERE IT HOLDS WATER, IT'S GOTTEN REPLACED ONCE ALREADY FROM THE WATER DAMAGE. AND IT HAS GOTTEN WET AGAIN. THE CARPET GOT REPLACED ONCE, THERE WAS MOLD, AND THE CARPET GOT WET AGAIN SO THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO REPLACE IT AGAIN CAUSE THERE IS MORE THAN LIKELY MOLD FROM IT HOLDING WATER.
I WAS NOTIFIED OF A RECALL VB1 FOR THE EGR ON MY ECODIESEL, TOOK THE TRUCK TO THE DEALERSHIP ON 1/18/20 FOR INSPECTION OF THE EGR. WAS INFORMED NO PARTS WERE AVAILABLE, NOR WOULD THEY BE AVAILABLE UNTIL AT LEAST THE END OF APRIL. WAS INFORMED TRUCKS THAT USED ANTIFREEZE COOLANT DUE TO CRACKED EGR WOULD GET REPLACED/REPAIRED FIRST. MY TRUCK HAS APPETITE FOR COOLANT, HAVE USED A BIT OVER 2 GALLONS SINCE NEW. YOU CAN SMELL COOLANT, ONE WOULD THINK THERE WAS A LEAK, WAS INFORMED IT WAS THE CRACKED EGR. COOLANT IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER WILL CAUSE PREMATURE ENGINE FAILURE. MY TRUCK WAS NOT RETURNED TO ME UNTIL 2/25/20 BECAUSE OF OTHER NEEDED WORK. MY FUEL MILEAGE HAS BEEN WELL BELOW THE EPA RATED 27 MPG, IS IT BECAUSE OF THE EGR? I HAD FAMILY EMERGENCY IN CALIF AND I PLANNED TO DRIVE THERE FROM MY HOME HERE IN AK, BUT DEALERSHIP DID NOT RECOMMEND DRIVING THAT FAR BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE ENGINE FAILURE ALONG THE WAY. I TRIED TRADING THE TRUCK FOR ANOTHER ONE, BUT NO DEALERSHIP WILL TAKE A TRUCK IN IN TRADE WITH A OPEN RECALL LIKE THIS! NOT EVEN A RAM DEALERSHIP! I DON'T HAVE ANY OPTIONS EXCEPT WAIT AND NOW THAT THE THE NATION IS HAVING CORONAVIRUS PROBLEMS, HOW MUCH LONGER WILL I WAIT FOR PARTS? THIS DEFECT CAN CAUSE FIRE OR POSSIBLY ACCIDENT DUE TO ENGINE FAILURE

I NOTICED, SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING TRUCK FROM A USED CAR DEALER WITH 96000 MILES ON IT,THAT THE GAS MILEAGE WAS GETTING WORSE STEADILY( HIGHWAY MILES ).THEN ONE DAY, ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK ,THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR TIRE WAS SMOKING. TOOK IT OVER TO MY MECHANIC AND FOUND OUT MY WHOLE REAR AXLE HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS COST ME ALMOST 5000 DOLLARS
I HAD PROBLEMS WHEN YOU GO TO FILL UP THE TANK OF GASOLINE. ALSO PROBLEMS WITH THE POWER WINDOWS. PROBLEMS WITH THE RADIO AND BLUETOOTH WHEN YOUR ARE DRIVING.
AFTER FUELING THE TRUCK THE FUEL NOZZLE GETS STUCK IN THE FILLER TUBE. I HAVE TO TWIST AND PULL VERY HARD TO GET THE FUEL NOZZLE OUT OF THE TUBE SPILLING FUEL ON TO THE GROUND AND MYSELF. LOOKING ON YOUTUBE THIS SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON ISSUE. I CUT MY FINGER WHILE TRYING TO PULL OUT THE NOZZLE,

The contact owns a 2018 Ram 1500. The contact received a notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V757000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The dealer had been notified about the recall; however, the contact was informed that the parts were on backorder. The manufacturer had been notified of the issue. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
When filling up with gas, it will not fill up without the causing the nozzle's safety switch to continually auto shut off(clicking off). Meaning I have to barely squeeze the nozzle so fuel barely flows into the gas cap slot taking 20-30 minutes to fill up because I can not set the lock on the gas pump nozzle to automatic flow. This is happening at all Gas stations so it is not an issue with the shape of a specific stations pump nozzle. The colder the weather the worse this is. Took in to dealer for a maintenance to see if it was just the float, but the stated to me without them further looking into the problem and having to charge me, it appears it could mean a full fuel tank replacement. My truck is only a 2018 and only has 56,000 miles on it so to me this shouldn't be happening. This started last November 2019.

MY VEHICLES HAS HAD A 2 RECALLS AND HAVE ALSO TAKEN IN FOR REPAIR. RECENTLY I HAD TO TAKE IT FOR A TICKING NOISE, THEY FOUND THAT THE TICKING NOISE WAS DUE TO AN EXHAUST LEAK ON THE RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD. EVERY SEVERAL MONTHS THERE'S A NEW ISSUE FOUND WITH MY VEHICLE.

THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT NOT TO PARK THE VEHICLE NEAR HIS HOME DUE TO IT BEING AT A HIGH RISK OF CATCHING FIRE BECAUSE OF THE FRACTURES IN THE EGR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO PROVIDE A LOANER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THE BACKUP CAMERA AUTOMATICALLY DISPLAYED THE REAR IMAGE WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS SHIFTED TO REVERSE HOWEVER, AFTER SHIFTING THE VEHICLE INTO DRIVE THE BACKUP CAMERA REMAINED DISPLAYED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CAMERA DISPLAYED FOR AN ADDITIONAL TWENTY MINUTES. THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. NEITHER A DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
DRIVING HOME FROM WORK. HAD USED CRUISE CONTROL AT 70MPH ON FREEWAY, BUT HAD NOT USED IT IN TOWN. I WAS DECELERATING FOR A STOP LIGHT, WHEN IT TURNED GREEN. I WAS PROBABLY TRAVELING 15-20MPH WHEN I BEGAN ACCELERATING AGAIN. I HEARD A CLICK, LIKE A RELAY OR SOLENOID AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ACCELERATE AS IF I HAD HIT "RESUME". LAST SPEED PRESET HAD BEEN 70MPH. I WAS ABLE TO CANCEL THE ACCELERATION BY HITTING THE BRAKES, BUT I NEARLY REAR ENDED THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. I DID NOT HIT "RESUME" BY MISTAKE EITHER, AS MY HAND WAS NOT ON THE STEERING WHEEL NEAR THE BUTTONS. IN FURTHER TROUBLESHOOTING, THE CRUISE WILL NOT ENGAGE BELOW 25MPH. IF RESUME IS PUSHED BEFORE PASSING 25MPH (DURING ACCELERATION), THEN NOTHING HAPPENS.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN A WINDY COUNTRY ROAD AND THE CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED ITSELF AND SET TO 90 MPH WHILE I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 50-55. CANCEL DID NOTHING, USING THE BRAKES CAUSED THEM TO SQUEAL BUT THE VEHICLE REMAINED ACCELERATING. I WAS ABLE TO DISENGAGE BY PUTTING THE ENGINE IN NEUTRAL AND USING THE PUSH BUTTON TO SHUT IT OFF.
UNPREDICTABLE VIBRATIONS AT VARIOUS HIGHWAY SPEEDS. SOMETIMES ANNOYING OTHER TIMES MORE SEVERE. THIS CONDITION ALSO EXISTED ON MY PREVIOUS 2017 RAM 1500 THAT I JUST TRADED IN. THIS IS THE SECOND RAM 1500 THAT HAS HAD THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS. I JUST BOUGHT THIS TRUCK BRAND NEW 10/05/19. DEALERS CANNOT SOLVE, AND FCA CUSTOMER CARE IS USELESS. I SUSPECT THIS IS A KNOW ISSUE WITH RAM. THE STANDARD CANNED ANSWER IS IT IS THE TIRES.

2018 Ram 1500. Consumer writes in regard to the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Safety Recall. THE CONSUMER STATED THE PARTS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE RECALL REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME COMPLETING THE RECALL REPAIR.
Since purchasing my 2018 Dodge Ram brand new, I have experienced consistent issues while refueling. From day one, the fuel pump at gas stations would shut off multiple times during a fill-up, even when the tank was far from full. Initially, I believed this was an issue with individual gas stations or pumps. However, the problem has progressively worsened over time. At this point, the fuel pump shuts off more than 50 times during a single refueling attempt. It has become extremely difficult to fill the tank properly, and I have no reliable way of knowing when the tank is full. This issue frequently results in gasoline overflowing and spilling onto the ground, posing a serious safety hazard to myself and others, as well as an environmental concern. It also causes unnecessary fuel waste and stress during every refueling. After some research, I have learned that this issue may be related to the vapor canister or fuel system design, which has reportedly affected other Ram truck owners as well. I am filing this complaint to formally report the defect, urge investigation, and ensure Chrysler/Stellantis is held accountable for a resolution. This is a significant safety and environmental issue that should not be ignored.

WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE LAGS POWER TO MOVE VEHICLE FOR ABOUT A 4 SEC DELAY THEN POWER WILL MOVE THE TRUCK ABSOLUTELY A SAFETY ISSUE ESPECIALLY WHEN THE VEHICLE IS COLD FORM A STOP. HAPPENS EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE TRUCK.
THE BACK UP CAMERA GOES OUT AND BLACK OUTS AT TIMES. SOMETIMES IT LOOKS LIKE A OLD TV WITH WAVY LINES. THE DRIVERS WINDOW CONTROLLER, YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE AUTO DOWN AND AUTO UP. AT TIMES, YOU MUST HOLD UP ON THE WINDOW SWITCH TO MAKE THE WINDOW GO UP. THE HEADLIGHTS COME ON WHEN YOU ENTER A DARK GARAGE AND WHEN YOU PULL OUT THEY STAY ON. MY VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS. THE HEADLIGHTS WILL COME ON DURING MORNING WITH FULL SUNSHINE. SOMETIMES THERE IS A VERY LOUD KNOCKING COMING FROM THE MOTOR . SOUNDS LOVE LIKE A BAD VALVE.
LONG LAG BETWEEN THE TIME YOU STEP ON THE ACCELERATOR AND THE WHEN THE TRUCK WOULD RESPOND. CREATED DANGEROUS SITUATION SPECIALLY MERGING WITH FAST MOVING TRAFFIC AND MOVING FROM STOP SIGNS. VEHICLE WOULD GO INTO LIMP MODE WITHOUT WARNING. IT WAS DEEMED TO A LEMON AND FCA BOUGHT IT BACK ONLY TO RESELL TO SOMEONE ELSE.
I WAS UNABLE TO STOP VEHICLE AS I WAS APPROACHING AN INTERSECTION ON A CITY STREET WENT TO PRESS ON THE BRAKES ALL THE LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING, BRAKE SYSTEM FLASHED, NO TRACTION LIGHT CAME ON, VEHICLE TURNED OFF. ENDED UP IMPACTING 3 OTHER VEHICLES AND A SCHOOL BUS. MY AIRBAGS NEVER DEPLOYED, AND THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY. ALL PARTIES WERE INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT, ALMOST ALL ARE SEEKING REPRESENTATION FROM ATTORNEYS FOR THEIR INJURIES.*DT *AS
