WHEN I BUY THE VEHICLE IT SHOW THAT WAS FIX, WHEN I BUY THE VEHICLE IT BROKE AGAIN FOR THE SECOND TIME WITH IN 4 MONTH OF THE BUY. NOW FOR THE 3RD TIME I GET A RECALL NOTIFICATION TO REPLACE IT AGAIN. MY COMPLAIN IS THAT I BEING DRIVING ALL THIS TIME THINKING THAT WAS FIX GOOD AND MY LIVE ITS BEING ON RISK BECAUSE IT SHOWS THAT IT NEVER WAS FIX PROPERLY. I BUY THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE MY JOB THE DEPENDS ON THIS TRUCK AND I CAN DRIVE SOMETHING THAT CAN KILL ME WITH OUT KNOWING IT. THANK YOU *TR
TRUCK CIRCULATING DIRT ROAD AFTER 25 MILES CONSTANT. THE BILLET SHOCK TOWER, LEFT DEFORMED MATERIAL FATIGUE. DEFORMING THE CHASSIS SUPPORT AREA, AND THE SHOCK IS DESTROYED. GENERATING A WOBBLE UNCONTROLLABLY, CUTTING RODS. BOTH WHEELS BEING UNCONTROLLED. THE UPPER COIL SUPPORT, SHOWS A CLEAR IN ITS ZONE FATIGUE. THIS SAME FAULT HAPPENED AT 3500 MILES, AND CHRYSLER DEALER IN CHILE, JUST CHANGE THE BARS TRACKS. *TR
WHEN GETTING OFF THE EXPRESSWAY RAMP THE BRAKES SEEMED WEAK, THEN I COULD NOT TURN THE WHEEL AND HAD TO ALMOST STOP. I HAD NO POWER ASSIST ON THE STEERING AT THIS POINT. ONCE THE WHEELS WERE STRAIGHT AGAIN IT SEEMED FINE. THE NEXT FEW TURNS HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS CAUSING ME TO ALMOST HIT OBJECTS AND OTHER CARS AS I COULD NOT TURN THE VEHICLE. I WAS NOT PULLING ANYTHING AT THE TIME. MY SON-IN-LAW HAD THE SAME ISSUE ON HIS SAME MAKE/MODEL/YEAR DODGE TRUCK AT ABOUT THE SAME MILEAGE LAST YEAR WHILE PULLING A 5TH WHEEL. HE TOOK IT IN AND THEY FLUSHED OUT THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM AS A FIX AND IT HAS NOT OCCURRED AGAIN....YET. PROBLEM COULD BE RELATED TO CONTAMINATION IN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM WHICH WILL JAM VALVES, OR IT COULD BE IN ELECTRONICS MODULES. EITHER WAY ITS NOT GOOD, ESPECIALLY WHEN PULLING A LARGE 5TH WHEEL. *TR
EXPERIENCED EXTREME VIBRATION, NEARLY LOST CONTROL. WAS ON FAIRLY SMOOTH FREEWAY. SMALL LOAD IN BED OF ABOUT 300LBS. DRIVER AND ONE PASSENGER. NO TRAILER. TRUCK IS STOCK RAM 2500 POWER WAGON NO MODIFICATIONS.. AFTER GOING OVER A SLIGHT BUMP ON FREEWAY, TRUCK BEGAN VIOLENT SHAKING, SO VIOLENT THAT I WAS NEARLY UNABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL. SAME EVENT HAS OCCURRED NOW MULTIPLE TIMES. ALREADY TAKEN TO DEALER ONCE, WILL TAKE BACK AGAIN. *TR
TELL US WHAT HAPPENED: I NOTICED A SEVERE WOBBLE WHICH ALMOST CAUSED ME TO WRECK IN THE LEFT FRONT AFTER HITTING A SMALL BUMP IN THE FREEWAY WHILS TRAVELING 70 M.P.H. THE WOBBLE STOPPED WHEN I SLOWED DOWN. THIS CONTINUES TO HAPPEN WHEN I HIT ANY KIND OF A BUMP AT SPEEDS OF 70 OR MORE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, IT WAS THERE FOR 4 DAYS, THEY SAID THEY REPAIRED THE PROBLEM, THE DEALER RECOMMENDED I HAVE THE TIRES ROTATED AND BALANCED, WHICH I DID AND PAID FOR IT MYSELF. THE NEXT TIME I DROVE ON THE FREEWAY AND HIT A BUMP THE TRUCK WENT INTO A DANGERIUS WOBBLE AGAIN .. I TOOK THE TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALER,WHICH TIME THE MECHANIC RODE WITH ME AND FELT THE WOBBLE WHEN I HIT A BUMP AT 70 M.P.H. THE MECHANIC SAID HE WAS GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE THE FRONT END APART TO FIND THE PROBLEM ,WHICH HE SAID WOULD TAKE A ENTIRE DAY. I LEFT THE TRUCK,, 4 DAYS LATER I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE FRONT END AND IT MIGHT BE THE TIRES..( THE TRUCK HAS 11000 MILES ON IT) I PICKED THE TRUCK UP AND LEFT,AS I WAS DRIVING HOME I HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD AT 70 M.P.H. AND ALMOST WRECKED.. I'M LOST.. PAID $50.000.00 FOR A DEATH TRAP AND NO WHERE TO TURN. *TR
I HAD STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN AND THEN STARTED TO PROCEED. SPEED WAS SLOW BECAUSE OF RAIL ROAD TRACK, WHEN I MADE A LEFT TURN THE STEERING JAMMED AND HAD TO STOP BEFORE RUNNING OFF ROAD. WITH ALL MY STRENGTH I WAS ABLE TO TURN LEFT FURTHER BUT HEARD A CLUNK. DROVE SLOW TO A DODGE DEALER IN MILE OF CARS, SAN DIEGO AND THIS CONDITION OCCURRED ABOUT 3 TIMES EVERY TIME I MADE A FULL TURN TO LEFT. DEALER REPAIRED AND I WAS TOLD THAT A AIR VENT HOSE RETAINING BRACKET HAD BROKEN AND THE HOSE HAD FALLEN IN TO THE STEERING MECHANISM. I THINK IF I HAD BEEN GOING AT A NORMAL SPEED 50 TO 70 I WOULD HAVE CRASHED. *TR
WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS ABOVE 55MPH, IF AN EXPANSION JOINT, POT HOLE, OR ANY FORM OF A LARGER BUMP IS HIT, THE VEHICLE WILL GO INTO WHAT IS COMMONLY KNOWN AS "DEATH WOBBLE." TO BE MORE SPECIFIC, THE FRONT AXLE IS SHIFTING SIDE TO SIDE UNDERNEATH THE BODY OF THE TRUCK, CAUSING A VIOLENT SHAKE THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DESCRIBE. BEING AN ASE CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN, I INSPECTED MY PERSONAL VEHICLE WITH TWO OTHER ASE CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS, AND DISCOVERED NO LOGICAL CAUSES FOR SUCH A SHAKE, BUT PROCEEDED TO RETORQUE EVERY NUT AND BOLT UNDER THE VEHICLE ALONG WITH ADDING A NEW HEAVY DUTY STEERING STABILIZER, PER DODGE DEALER SUGGESTION. TO NO AVAIL, THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. I CAN NO LONGER ALLOW MY SIX MONTH OLD DAUGHTER TO RIDE IN MY TRUCK FOR FEAR OF DEATH WOBBLE OCCURRING. I REFUSE TO ALLOW MY WIFE TO DRIVE MY TRUCK FOR FEAR OF HER SAFETY. MAKE THIS SITUATION RIGHT WITH RAM TRUCK OWNERS, BEFORE IT TAKES A LIFE. *TR

AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OF 65-70 TRUCK STARTED TO SHAKE VERY BAD WERE I ALMOST LOST CONTROL SLOWED DOWN AND STOPPED CHECK ALL TIRE AND STARTED GOING AGAIN AND AS SOON AS I HIT 65MPH IT HAPPENED AGAIN TILL I SLOWED DOWN TO 30MPH I ONCE AGAIN STOPPED CHECK TIRES ALL GOOD THIS IS A COMMON THING WITH THE DODGE RAM FROM DOING A SEARCH OF THE INTERNET ON WHAT OTHER DODGE RAM OWNERS ARE CALLING THE DEATH WOBBLE AND TO THIS DATE DODGE SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE LOOKED IN TO AND EITHER MAKE DODGE DO A RECALL TO FIX THERE PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED OR INJURED BECAUSE OF THIS. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY TRUCK ON THE INTERSTATE AT ABOUT 65 MPH AND HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD. MY TRUCK WENT ALL OVER THE INTERSTATE ALMOST THROWING ME INTO THE DITCH. I THOUGHT I HAD A FLAT TIRE BUT I DIDN'T. I CONTINUED DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND NOTHING HAPPENED. A WEEK LATER IT HAPPENED AGAIN ON THE INTERSTATE. I WAS TOLD BY A TRUCK COMPANY THAT I WAS EXPERIENCING THE DEATH WOBBLE. I CALLED THE DODGE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE DEATH WOBBLE. I CANT DRIVE MY NEW TRUCK ON THE INTERSTATE FEARING FOR MY SAFETY AND OTHERS I MAY HURT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE BRAKES LOCKED UP AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO STOP INSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED BUT HE WAS HAVING DIFFICULTY DRIVING IT TO HIS HOUSE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT A PASSENGER WAS RESTING THEIR ARM ON THE WINDOW SEAL WHEN THE AUTOMATIC LOCK ENGAGED INDEPENDENTLY, PINCHING THE PASSENGER ON THE ARM BETWEEN THE LOCK AND THE WINDOW. THE FAILURE CAUSED SEVERE BRUISING TO THE PASSENGER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT YET BEEN NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 11,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE TIE ROD WAS DEFECTIVE AND INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH 11V350000 (STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY ). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURED WAS NOTIFIED AND REFUSED THE REPAIRS BECAUSE THE TIRES AND RIMS HAD BEEN CHANGED ON THE VEHICLE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 18,000.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2011 RAM POWER WAGON FROM SPEEDS OF 35MPH TO 70 MPH ANY SMALL BUMPS IN THE HIGHWAY OR EXPANSION JOINTS IN THE ROAD PUT THIS VEHICLE INTO AN EXTREMELY VIOLENT WOBBLE WITH UNCONTROLLABLE STEERING ISSUES. I IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP AND DEALERSHIP HAD SAID THEY NEVER HEARD OF THIS, THEY AGREED TO REPLACE THE STEERING DAMPER AND THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. I'M A PROFESSIONAL DRIVER OF FIRE APPARATUS AND HAVE NEVER BEEN AS DEEPLY CONCERNED ABOUT MY SAFETY AS NOW DRIVING THIS TRUCK. I LOOKED UP ON THE INTERNET AND THERE ARE COUNTLESS WOBBLE ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH RAM 2500 AND RAM 3500 TRUCKS. I AM NOT POSITIVE IF MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP UNDERSTANDS THE SEVERITY OF THE SITUATION. THIS CAN AND WILL RESULT IN INJURY OR MUCH WORSE, DEATH. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE IN A TIMELY MANNER TO PROTECT NOT JUST THE THOUSANDS OF DODGE OWNERS BUT THE INNOCENT BYSTANDERS ON THE SAME ROAD WITH THIS TRUCK. *JS
TRUCK HAS THE N49 RECALL, TOOK IT TO DEALER IN FEB 2014, WANTED TO DO A FRONT END ALIGNMENT. TOLD HIM IT WAS A RECALL. ORDER PART (WAITED, WAITED) CALL BACK WAS 30TH ON LIST. THEN TOLD ME THEY DO ONE A WEEK. CALLED BACK IN 3 WEEKS, STILL 30TH ON LIST. ON JUNE 26 THE TRUCK STARTED TO SHAKE, LOST CONTROL AND WENT IN DITCH, PUSHING THE FRONT IN. CHRYSLER SAID THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF MANUFACTURING DEFECT AFTER THEY CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION. *TR
WHILE TRAVELING 5MPH OR LESS IN REVERSE WHILE TURNING THE DRIVER'S SIDE TIE ROD BALL STUD SHEARED OFF CAUSING THE LEFT WHEEL TO BE WITHOUT STEERING. THIS HAPPENED TWO DAYS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS AT A DEALER FOR A SAFETY RECALL RELATED TO THE SAME COMPONENTS. THE DEALER ADVISED ME MY VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE THE AFFECTED PARTS THAT NEEDED REPLACED AND SAID THEY MADE A TORQUE ADJUSTMENT. WHEN THE FAILURE HAPPENED THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DIFFERENT DEALER FOR REPAIR, WHO STATED THE FIRST DEALER HAD LIKELY DONE SOMETHING IMPROPERLY OR INADEQUATELY DURING THE RECALL INSPECTION. *TR
AT NORMAL DRIVING SPEEDS, WHEN A BUMP OR EXPANSION JOINT IS HIT, A VIOLENT SHIMMY OCCURS IN THE FRONT END. THE WAY TO MAKE THIS STOP IS BY HITTING THE BRAKES LIGHTLY BRINGING THE SPEED DOWN. THE STEERING FEELS LOOSE. IT'S HAPPENED 6-8 TIMES IN THE LAST 5 DAYS. THE TRUCK SWAYS BACK AND FORTH, THIS IS A SERIOUS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ISSUE. *TR
I HAVE A 2011 DODGE RAM 2500 HD WITH 27,000 MILES. THIS TRUCK WAS BOUGHT NEW FROM THE DEALER. THIS TRUCK NOW HAS A SEVERE PROBLEM WITH STEERING. WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS IF THE TRUCK HITS A BUMP IN THE ROAD THE FRONT END WILL GO INTO A VERY VIOLENT SHAKING. THIS IS SEVERE ENOUGH TO CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER A SIMPLE SEARCH OF THE INTERNET I FOUND THIS TO BE CALLED THE DEATH WOBBLE AND APPEARS TO BE A KNOWN COMMON PROBLEM. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE EXHAUST SYSTEM FAILURE WARNING MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT SHE WAS UNABLE TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL BACKWARD ABNORMALLY WITH THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK, AND THE CONTACT WAS THEN ABLE TO SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE SOFTWARE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 15,800.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE REVERSING AT APPROXIMATELY 2 MPH, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIE ROD SHEERED AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE AND THE CONTACT LOST STEERING CONTROL. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC APPEARED ON THE SCENE AND REPAIRED THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V350000 (STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000.
WE WERE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 55 WHEN ALL THE SUDDEN THE TRUCK STARTED PULLING HARD TO THE LEFT. THE DODGE DEALER HAD INSPECTED THE TRUCK AFTER WE RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICES, AND ASSURED US THERE WAS NO PROBLEM, THAT WAS BEFORE BOTH INCIDENTS. *TR
I GOT THE RECALL WHILE IN OR WHILE BEING A CARETAKER FOR 6 MONTHS. I CALLED ALL THE LOCAL DEALERS AND WAS TOLD THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS AND DID NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WOULD GET THEM. I FINALLY TALKED TO DENNIS DILLION DODGE IN CALDWELL, ID AND THEY ORDERED THE PART. I AM LEAVING TO GO BACK TO ALASKA NEXT MONTH AND THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE THE PART. I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK WITHOUT IT BEING FIXED AS I AM PULLING A 5TH WHEEL TRAILER. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V038000 (POWER TRAIN) HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE TIME FOR REPAIR. THE CONTACT RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE OVER ONE YEAR. THE VEHICLE DID NOT EXPERIENCE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT ENGAGED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE GEAR LEVER WAS SHIFTED INTO REVERSE WHEN THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO LUNGE FORWARD INDEPENDENTLY. THE FAILURE RECURRED IN COLD WEATHER TEMPERATURES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER EIGHT TIMES FOR THE SAME FAILURE. THE TORQUE CONVERTER WAS REPLACED AND THE COMPUTER SYSTEM WAS UPDATED. THE FAILURE PERSISTED AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,000.
HIT POTHOLE ON THE HIGHWAY AND TRUCK STARTED TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY. I WAS UNABLE TO STEER THE TRUCK. TRUCK WAS LITERALLY BOUNCING DOWN THE HIGHWAY UNTIL I SLOWED DOWN TO APROX. 30MPH. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 3 TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK. *TR IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN ON A CURVE IN THE ROAD I WOULD BE DEAD.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 6,900. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2011 DODGE RAM ON THE FREEWAY, THE FRONT END STARTED SHAKING SO VIOLENTLY THAT THE HOOD LATCH POPPED, AND FORCED ME TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. TOWED TO DEALER NOTHING FOUND WRONG CONTINUED THIS 10 TO 15 TIMES UNTIL IT TOOK ME ACROSS TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC TO THE CENTER MEDIAN ON THE INTERSTATE AT 70 MPH.THE STEERING ARM AND DAMPENER WAS REPLACED. FIRST INCIDENT, WHILE DRIVING, ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL LIGHT WARNING LIGHT WENT ON AND THE ENGINE DIED. COULD NOT RESTART UNTIL VEHICLE WAS STOPPED, PUT IN PARK AND THE KEY WAS CYCLED FROM ON TO OFF AND BACK. DEALER DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE ON 11/28/10 BASED ON THE PRESENCE OF DIAGNOSTIC CODE P2121, "ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR PERFORMANCE.". PART WAS ORDERED (IT WAS ON BACKORDER), REPAIR WAS SCHEDULED FOR 12/12/11 AND VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO ME. ON 12/5/11 THE FAILURE REPEATED ITSELF, ON 12/12/11 THE PART WAS REPLACED. ON 1/5/12 SAME FAILURE HAPPENED AGAIN, ALTHOUGH THIS TIME I WAS TOWING AN 8000 POUND CAR TRAILER. WAS ABLE TO STOP AND PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, NARROWLY AVOIDING AN ACCIDENT. THIS SEEMS TO BE AN INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS DESIGN FLAW AS A STALL CAUSES LOSS OF BOTH POWER STEERING AND BRAKES, NOT TO MENTION LOSS OF THE EXHAUST BRAKE. *TR
RECALL P65 - DEALER WILL NOT GIVE ME THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE WORK TO BE COMPLETED AND NEITHER WILL CHRYLSER. DEALER CANNOT DO THE WORK BECAUSE HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DRIVE AND I WORK. DEALER DID A RECALL BEFORE AND DID NOT SOLDIER LIKE HE SAID, BUT SPLICED WIRES, MADE A MESS, AND IS PROBABLY WHAT HE WANTS TO DO NOW. I CANNOT TRUST A DEALER TO FIX THE REPAIR. CHRYSLER NEEDS TO REPLACE THE WHOLE UNIT AND NOT SHORT CUT ME ON THE REPAIR. IF IT IS SO CRITICAL.
THERE IS A MAJOR VIBRATION IN THE FRONT END AS SOON AS YOU REACH 50 MPH. WE HAVE TAKEN OUR TRUCK TO 4 DIFFERENT DODGE DEALERSHIP AND NONE OF THEM CAN FIND ANYTHING WRONG THEY WILL EITHER SAY ITS THE TIRE WHICH ARE BRAND NEW LESS THAN 100 MILES ONE THEM OR THEY SAY IT NEEDS ALIGNED WHICH WE'VE HAD DONE AT LEAST 3 TIMES AND NOTHING HAS FIXED THIS PROBLEM. WE HAD RECALL WORK DONE IN MAY AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM BUT IT HAS NOT CHANGED ANYTHING IT SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE. YOU CAN SEE THE HOOD OF THE TRUCK VIBRATING AND ALSO REALLY FEEL IT IN THE STEERING AS WELL AS THE SHIFTER IT IS A MANUAL 6 SPEED.

THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER, BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 7,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
WHILE TRAVELING AT SPEEDS GREATER THAN 45MPH THE VEHICLE STARTS TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY WHEN DRIVING OVER HIGHWAY EXPANSION JOINTS OR POTHOLES. THE VEHICLE IS COMPLETELY UNCONTROLLABLE AND THE ONLY RECOURSE IS LIGHT PRESSURE ON THE BRAKES UNTIL SPEED FALLS BELOW 25MPH. *TR
MY TRUCK HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES TO CORRECT A SHIMMY OR AS THE SERVICE WRITER CALLED IT A "DEATH WOBBLE" THE DEALER HAS FELT THE ISSUE AND ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS TRIED TO FIX IT. INCLUDING ALIGNING THE VEHICLE OUT OF FACTORY SPECS ON THE ADVICE FROM THE RAM ENGINEERS. THEY HAVE ALSO SWAPPED THE STEERING STABILIZERS WITH A HEAVER DUTY ONE FROM THE 1 TON RAM 3500. NEITHER FIX HAS WORKED TO CORRECT THE SHIMMY OR THE SLIGHT PULL TO THE RIGHT. THE TRUCK IS FLAT OUT DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AND I DID NOT REALIZE HOW BAD UNTIL I WAS TOWING A 5200LB BOAT AT 65 MPH. NEITHER THE WEIGHT OR THE SPEED SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM FOR THIS 3/4 TON TRUCK BUT AFTER DRIVING OVER AN EXPANSION JOINT THE TRUCK STARTED TO SHIMMY AND THAT COMBINED WITH THE TRAILER SWAY ALMOST KILLED SOMEONE. THE ONLY REASON SOMEONE DID NOT DIE IN THAT INSTANT IS I WAS THE ONLY PERSON WITHIN A MILE. IF SOMEONE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE LEFT LANE I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THEM OUT WITH A TRUCK AND TRAILER THAT WAS NEARLY UNCONTROLLABLE. **TT
