TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 3500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE SEIZED AND THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL AND STRUCK A CURB. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED AT THE TIME OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ONCE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIE ROD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.

I HAVE HAD MY RECALL NOTICE FOR MONTHS NOW AND DODGE IS NOT EVEN SUPPING ENOUGH PARTS FOR US TO GET OUR TRUCKS FIXED. THIS RECALL MAY BE ONE THAT GETS SOMEONE KILLED IF THEY DONOT TAKE CARE OF IT SOON AND NOT A YEAR OR TWO LATER. ARE YOU ALL AWARE THAT THEY ARE NOT GETTING THE PARTS TO US FOR THIS IMPORTANT REPAIR. RECALL FOR TIEROD LEFT SIDE AND UNABLE TO GET THE PARTS AS OF OCT 2013 AND UP UNTIL NOW NO PARTS AVAILABLE AND STILL DRIVING WITH DANGEROUS TIEROD AND NO PARTS FOR THE REPLACEMENT. NEED HELP WE ARE NOT GETTING HELP FROM THE US GOVERNMENT AT ALL SO SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE BEFORE YOU ALL STEP IN AND IT IS TO LATE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, A LOUD NOISE EMITTED OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE AS THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILED. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE WAS TURNED IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIE ROD WAS FRACTURED. THE FAILURE CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE WHEEL RIM AND SHREDDED THE BRAKE ASSEMBLY. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 11V350000 (STEERING) AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER THE RECALL INCLUDING ADDITIONAL CHARGES TO THE OWNER FOR THE EXTRA DAMAGES INVOLVED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
GOING AROUND CURVE SPEED WAS 55MPH. SLIGHT BUMP IN ROAD, VEHICLE STARTED SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY. I HAD TO APPLY THE BRAKES QUICKLY TO SLOW DOWN, IT FINALLY QUIT SHAKING THE VEHICLE HAS DONE IT BEFORE. *TR
ON JUNE 11, 2013 I WAS BACKING INTO MY GARAGE WHEN I LOST MY STEERING CAPABILITY FOR MY VEHICLE. I EXITED MY VEHICLE TO TRY AND DETERMINE WHAT MAY HAVE CAUSED THIS. I NOTICED THE TIE ROD ON THE DRIVERS SIDE HANGING DOWN TO THE GROUND. I HAD MY VEHICLE TOWED TO THE NEAREST DODGE DEALER(ZIMMERMAN'S ENTERPRISES) IN SUNBURY PA. THE TIE ROD REPLACEMENT WAS COVERED UNDER A SAFETY RECALL AND WAS REPLACED THE FOLLOWING DAY. DUE TO THE TIE ROD BEING BAD IT CAUSED MY DRIVERS SIDE FRONT TIRE TO BECOME CUPPED AND DAMAGED. I ASKED THE SALES MANAGE AT ZIMMERMAN'S DODGE ABOUT THE FAULTY TIRE AND HE TOLD HE TO JUST ROTATE IT TO THE REAR. THE FOUR TIRES ON MY TRUCK WERE PURCHASED IN FEBRUARY. ALL FOUR TIRES WERE ROTATED IN MAY AFTER APPROX. 5,000 MILES. THE TIRE THAT WAS WORN OUT BECAUSE OF THE FAULTY TIE ROD WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION WHEN I QUESTIONED MY MECHANIC. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT MY OTHER 3 TIRES HAVE VERY LITTLE WEAR ON THEM COMPARED TO THE TIRE THAT WAS ON THE SIDE WITH THE FAULTY TIE ROD. MY CONCERN IS THAT MY VEHICLE WAS PLACED ON THE ROAD WITH AN UNSAFE TIRE. ALSO THE TIE ROD BEING FAULTY CAUSED MY TIRE TO WEAR ABNORMALLY AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED UNDER THE RECALL FOR THE TIE ROD. I UNDERSTAND THAT CHRYSLER DOES NOT HAVE A WARRANTY ON TIRES BUT THIS DEFECT WAS CAUSED DUE TO A MANUFACTURER DEFECT PART. *TR
2010 DODGE RAM . CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE OUTER TIE ROD END FAILURE. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED HER HUSBAND WAS DRIVING, WHEN HE EXPERIENCED A SERIOUS FAILURE OF THE OUTER TIE ROD END. THE CONSUMER STATED THE TIE ROD END HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN REPLACED UNDER RECALL. THE CONSUMERS HUSBAND WAS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, UNABLE TO MOVE THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER.

AFTER CONTACTING THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT, THE PARTS WERE STILL NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE.
AS I WAS LOOKING FOR A PARKING SPOT AT A LOCAL ENTERTAINMENT VENUE, I TOOK A RIGHT AND WAS IN PROCESS OF MAKING A QUICK LEFT ABOUT 20 YARDS AFTER THE RIGHT. AS I TURNED TO THE LEFT I HEARD SOMETHING POP UNDER THE TRUCK. I DECIDED TO KEEP GOING STRAIGHT INSTEAD OF TURNING LEFT SO I STRAIGHTENED THE TRUCK OUT AND PROCEEDED FORWARD ABOUT 50 YARDS DOWN AT A STOP SIGN I SAW AN EMPTY ON THE LEFT AND PROCEEDED TO TURN TOWARDS IT. THE POP I HAD HEARD EARLIER WAS THE ACTUALLY THE DRIVER SIDE TIE ROD SNAPPING AND WHILE TURNING LEFT IT CAUGHT THE SIDEWALL OF THE TIRE AND LOCKED UP THE STEERING ARM AND BENT THE TRAILING ARM. I HAD TAKEN THE TRUCK TO SPRING DODGE IN SPRING, TX TO HAVE THE L16 RECALL PERFORMED ON IT A YEAR EARLIER ON THE SAME MONTH. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO REPLACED THE STEERING STABILIZER, TIE ROD AND THE BALL JOINTS. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE FAILURE WAS REPORTED TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 77,000.
VEHICLE BEGAN MAKING A HISSING NOISE IN THE AREA UNDER THE DASHBOARD ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. WHILE THE ENGINE SPEED WAS MAINTAINED ABOVE 1500 THERE ARE NO NOTICED DRIVABILITY ISSUES. WHEN THE BRAKE IS DEPRESSED OR THE STEERING WHEEL TURNED THE HISSING CEASED. HISSING INDEPENDENT OF ENGINE SPEED. WHILE DRIVING AT ABOUT 35 MPH THE VEHICLE'S POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES FAILED WHILE ENTERING A TURN. TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT I WAS SURPRISINGLY REQUIRED TO USE EXCESSIVE FORCE TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE STOMPING THE BRAKE TO SLOW THE VEHICLE. THE CAUSE IS A SMALL PLASTIC INSERT IN THE HYDRO ASSIST HOSE THAT BREAKS LOOSE AND THEN MOVES ALONG THE HOSE UNTIL IT GETS PRESSED INTO A 90 DEGREE ANGLE CUTTING OFF OR REDUCING THE FLUID FLOW. *TR
HI, I RECEIVED A NOTICE REGARDING RECALL N49/NHTSA 13V-529 AND WENT TO MY CHRYSLER DEALER ON 1/26/14 TO SCHEDULE THE SERVICE TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE WITH THE LEFT TIE ROD BALL STUD. TO THIS DATE, THE DEALER HAS BEEN UNABLE TO OBTAIN THE PART FROM CHRYSLER. I CALLED THE CHRYSLER RECALL CENTER AT 800.853.1403 TODAY AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT CHRYSLER IS STILL WORKING ON GETTING THE PARTS TO THE DEALERS. WHAT'S THE POINT OF ISSUING A RECALL WHEN CHRYSLER IS NOT TAKING CARE OF IT? *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL IN THE MAIL . N49/NHTSA 13V-529. WENT TO DEALER THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME BUT NEVER DID. I WENT BACK IN AND THEY SAID THEY'D PUT MY NAME ON A LIST AND GET BACK TO ME. THEY SAY THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN THE PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. IT'S BEEN A TOTAL OF 3 MONTHS. DEALER SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME FROM THE BEGINNING THAT THEY'D PUT MY NAME ON A LIST. I AM CONCERNED THEY WILL KEEP PUTTING THIS OFF WHILE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. TIE ROD ISSUES CAN CAUSE A LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT MINE AND FAMILY'S SAFETY. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GET BACK TO ME WITH AN STATUS ON THE REPLACEMENT PARTS. *JS

THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE TIE ROD ENDS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V350000 (STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY) PREVIOUSLY FOR THE SAME FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED FOR THE RECENT FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 47,000. .... UPDATED 03/08/13 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR THE RECALL. HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT FIX IT, AS IT COST TOO MUCH MONEY. THE CONSUMER STATED HE PURCHASED A PITMAN ARM ASSEMBLY AND TIE ROD TO FIX THE PROBLEM. UPDATED 03/11/13

TRAVELING AT APPROX 40 DOWN A STRAIGHT STREET IN TOWN , APPARENTLY ACCORDING TO WITNESSES THE TRUCK SHARPLY CHANGED LANES INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC , SIDE SWIPING ONE CAR WENT THRU TWO RESIDENTIAL FENCES AND ENDED UP STOPPING IN SHOP/GARAGE TURNED 90 DEGREES TO THE ROAD WE WHERE TRAVELING ON . I WAS SITED FOR NEG 2 DRIVING , BECAUSE I COULDN'T RECALL WHAT HAD HAPPENED . THE TRUCK WAS TOTALED . ON THE REPORT WE GOT FROM THE INS. CO THERE WAS SOME INFO AND TO MY DISBELIEF WAS A PARAGRAPH ABOUT 2010 DODGE RAMS 3500 BEING RECALLED FOR LEFT TIE ROD FAILURE . MY WIFE LUCKILY HAD TAKEN LOTS OF PICTURES OF THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT , AFTER SOME INVESTIGATING ON OUR PART ( WENT AND LOOKED AT THE TRUCK ) THE LEFT SIDE TIE ROD WAS BROKEN , WE TOOK PICTURES OF THE TIE ROD , AND BY LOOKING AT THE TIE ROD THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO IT THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED IT TO FAIL , THE PICTURES MY WIFE TOOK AT THE SCENE CLEARLY SHOW SOMETHING DRAGGING IN THE DIRT ON THE DRIVER SIDE . MY WIFE AND I ARE CURRENTLY SEEING A LOCAL BONE CRUSHER ( CHIROPRACTOR ) ITS HIS BELIEF THAT THE TRUCK SWERVED HARD ENOUGH THAT MY HEAD HIT SOMETHING KNOCKING ME UNCONSCIOUS , HE SAID THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THE TILTED ATLAS THAT I AM CONTINUING FIGHTING TO THIS DAY , THE CHIROPRACTOR TOLD ME THAT WHEN THEY TAKE A HEAD ON HEAD XRAY YOU SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR ATLAS ON MINE YOU CAN SEE OVER HALF OF IT , WORST HE'S EVER SEEN .WE HAD BEEN HAVING FRONT END PROBLEM AND BROUGHT IT TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP . MY HUSBAND AND I TOTALED OUR 2010 DODGE RAM 3500 LESS THAN 24 HRS AFTER PICK UP THE TRUCK FROM THE LYTHIA DODGE WHICH THEY HAD FOR 5 DAYS STRAIGHT PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT. FOR THE STEERING, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND THE BRAKES. IN 18MOS MY TRUCK WAS IN THE SHOP 6 TIMES, FOR REPAIRS {UNACCEPTABLE}. WE WERE DRIVING ON A ARTERIAL ST AT ABOUT 35, WHEN I HEARD A SNAP. WE SUDDENLY WENT INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHERE WE SIDESWIPED A SM SUV. WENT THRU TWO FENCES AND CRASHED INTO A HUGE SHOP TRAVELING ABOUT 210 YARDS. MY HUSBAND WAS CITED FOR NEG 2. HE STATED HE CAME TO IN THE SHOP, THE OFFICER REPORTED HE FEEL ASLEEP. MY VEHICLE WAS A TOTAL LOSS. THE AUTO SOURCE FROM THE INS. FOR THE PAYOFF , HAD A LIST OF RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE ONE OF THEM WAS FOR THE TIE-ROD. WE RECALLED SEEING THE TRUCKS TIE-ROD HAD BEEN BROKEN AT THE SCENE. SO I TRIED TO GET MY INS TO INVESTIGATE. THEY SAID HIS TICKET WAS WHAT THEY HAD TO USE FOR DECIDING FAULT .SO I CONTACTED CHRYSLER THEY WOULDN'T TALK TO ME THEY GAVE ME A CARE NO AND SAID AN INVESTIGATOR WOULD COME IN 5 DAYS, HE CAME AND GOT ALL THE PICTS THEY WANTED DOWNLOADED THE BRAIN HISTORY ,EVERYTHING THEY COULD WANT. THEN TOLD ME HE COULD ONLY GIVE THIS INFO TO CHRYSLER, DENYING ME ANY OF IT. LATER CHRYSLER INFORMED ME BY LETTER THAT THE TIE-ROD FAILURE AGE WAS FROM THE ACCIDENT NOT THE CAUSE OF IT. I ASK IF THE WOULD CONSIDER THE WORK ORDERS THAT LYTHIA HAD GAVE ME {THAT CLEARLY STATES THEY WERE BEYOND SPECIFICATION, NEVER WARNING ME OF THE DANGERS} AND THE PICTS. I TOOK. I COULDN'T AFFORD TO FAX THEM AND THEY REFUSED ME AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO SEND THEM. THAT EVIDENCE WAS NOT CONSIDERED. THEY HAVE NOT SETTLED THIS WITH ME ONLY REFUSED THEIR LIABILITY. THE AIRBAGS NEVER DEPLOYED, AND BRAKES WERE NOT APPLIED. I GOT 3 NOTICES FOR RECALL N49, 1 YR AFTER THE ACCIDENT. MULTIPLE RECALLS AT THAT TIME, DO A RECALL SEARCH BY NOW VIN NOW AND NOTHING COMES UP. *TR
THERE WAS A HORRIBLE DEATH WOBBLE IN THE FRONT END. THE TRUCK HAD TO BE BROUGHT ALMOST TO A COMPLETE STOP IN ORDER TO REMEDY THIS EVENT. THIS IS BEYOND UNSAFE. IT IS NOT ONLY UNSAFE FOR MY FAMILY IT IS A DANGER TO OTHERS ON THE ROAD. BUYING A $50,000 + TRUCK SAFETY FOR MY FAMILY WAS NOT A CONCERN, I WAS HIGHLY MISTAKEN. MY FEAR IS NOT ONLY FOR MY FAMILY BUT FOR THE OTHER MOTORIST ON THE ROAD. WE HAD STOPPED DRIVING THE TRUCK UNLESS THERE IS A MAJOR NEED, YET WE CONTINUE TO MAKE OUR $850.00 A MONTH PAYMENTS FOR OUR YARD ORNAMENT, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT WE AGREE TO DO. AT 42,333 MILES WE HAD THE FRONT END WORKED ON HOPING TO FIX THE PROBLEM THE TEMPORARY REPAIR LASTED UNTIL WE REACHED 68,482 MILES AND ITS BACK!! SO LIKE I SAID IT SITS IN OUR DRIVEWAY IN THE LAST 4 MONTHS THAT TRUCK HAS ONLY DRIVEN 256 MILES. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!! *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 11350000 (STEERING) BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS SERVICED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V529000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,355.

AFTER ACCELERATING ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY ON-RAMP, THE VEHICLE WENT OVER SOME BUMPS THEN STARTED SHAKING VIOLENTLY AT ABOUT 45 MPH. THERE WAS A COMPLETE LOSS OF STEERING AS THE TRUCK VIBRATED AND SHOOK ACROSS LANES, BUT I WAS ABLE TO SOMEHOW AVOID COLLISIONS WITH OTHER VEHICLES AND SAFELY PULL OFF THE HIGHWAY. AFTER STOPPING AND FINDING NOTHING WRONG, THE VEHICLE WAS SLOWLY ACCELERATED TO INTERSTATE SPEED AND DRIVEN ANOTHER 300 MILES TO DESTINATION WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. A FEW DAYS LATER, A TUCSON DODGE DEALER INSPECTED THE TRUCK AND FOUND TWO ISSUES. FIRST, THE FRONT STEERING DAMPER WAS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE AND WAS REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. THE SECOND ITEM, AN IMBALANCED FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL, WAS FOUND AND CORRECTED. THE PROBLEM HAS NOT RECURRED, BUT I AM EXTREMELY NERVOUS ABOUT THE EVENT REPEATING ITSELF, PARTICULARLY IF IT HAPPENS WHEN PULLING A 5TH WHEEL TRAILER. SAT - 10-22-11 I CALLED SERVICE DEPT AND TELL THEM MY STEERING WHEEL IS NOT ALIGNED AND TRUCK IS PULLING TO RIGHT. THEY TELL ME TO BRING IN 10-24-11 AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. THE STEERING WHEEL CENTERED AND TRUCK ALIGNMENT DONE. ON 11-5-11, CALLED SERVICE CENTER TO REPORT THAT MY NEW TIRES ON FRONT WERE SHOWING WIRE STICKING OUT AND IT WAS VIBRATING IN FRONT. SO I RECOMMENDED A TIRE BUSINESS IN BOLINGBROKE THAT WORKS ON BIG TRUCKS AND I KNEW THEY COULD ALIGN IT, THEY DO ALL OUR WORK TRUCKS AND WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. READING THE LADIES STORY ABOUT HER HUSBAND BEING TICKETED FOR FALLING ASLEEP WHEN I HAVE HAD IT HAPPEN TO MY TRUCK I THOUGHT I NEEDED TO SPEAK OUT. DRIVE LINE ISSUE: THE SUPPORT BEARING ON THE DRIVE SHAFT, WENT WHILE DRIVING WITH OUT NOTICE. LUCKILY I WAS DRIVING DOWN MY DRIVE WAY WHICH IS ABOUT 500 FEET LONG AND WASN'T GOING BUT ABOUT 15 MPH. THE FUEL MILEAGE WASN'T IMPRESSIVE BUT MINOR MODS HAVE BROUGHT IT CLOSER TO 20 MPG WHEN EMPTY. I THINK I STILL HAVE PICTURES OF BOTH THE SNAPPED TIE ROD AND WHEN IT WAS WORE OUT. I BELIEVE I HAVE A BAD INJECTOR AND CHRYSLER WILL NOT ANALYZE THEM TO GUARANTEE I WILL NOT HAVE FUTURE PROBLEMS. THE CONTROLLER DOES NOT SEND BRAKING VOLTAGE TO TRAILER FOR A FULL 3 SECONDS AFTER THE TRUCK BRAKES ARE APPLIED AND TAKES 2-3 SECONDS TO RAMP UP THE VOLTAGE AFTER THE TRUCK BRAKES ARE APPLIED. IF THE CONTROLLER IS SET TO A SETTING OF 5-10 THE CONTROLLER ONLY SENDS 3.0 TO THE TRAILER. THE CONTROLLER NEVER SENDS OVER 3.0 NO MATTER HOW LONG OR HARD THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. THE RESULT IS WHEN STOPPING, THE TRAILER PUSHES THE TRUCK INTO INTERSECTIONS. THE BRAKE CONTROLLER WAS REPLACED AND IT STILL WORKS THE SAME. CONTACTED DODGE AND AFTER PLAYING PHONE TAG NO SOLUTION IN SIGHT. THIS IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. I HAVE BEEN CLOSE SEVERAL TIMES WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE STOPS SHORT OR CHANGES LANES AND STOPS ELIMINATING THE EXTRA STOPPING DISTANCE I ALLOW BECAUSE OF THE INEFFECTIVE BRAKE CONTROLLER. *TR

WHILE STOPPED AND WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING ON AND WHILE THE TRUCK IS PERFORMING THE REGENERATION PROCESS RAW FUEL AND EXHAUST FUMES ENTER THE CAB OF THE TRUCK FORCING ME TO ROLL MY WINDOWS DOWN. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT HE WOULD NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND THE LIGHTS WOULD BEGAN TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER TWICE, WHO DECIDED TO RESET THE COMPUTER ON BOTH OCCASIONS. THE REMEDY DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 13,000.
I ORDERED A 2010 DODGE RAM 3500 WITH DUAL REAR WHEELS. DODGE DOES NOT INSTALL VALVE STEMS LONG ENOUGH THAT I CAN EVEN CHECK THE TIRE PRESSURE IN THE TIRES. I HAVE THE CHROME WHEEL PACKAGE AND CANNOT EVEN SEE THE VALVE STEMS TO LOCATE THEM. *TR

UPON RESTART THE LIGHT MOMENTARILY DID NOT ILLUMINATE UNTIL HE BEGAN DRIVING AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY HAVE REPLACED THE TIPM TWICE, THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE ACTUATOR MOTOR, THE AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR, AS WELL AS VARIOUS WIRES AND COMPUTER COMPONENTS. NONE OF THE REPAIRS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REMEDY THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 15,000

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS INTENDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,800 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 20,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE ANOTHER PUMP WAS ORDERED; THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING THE ARRIVAL OF THE PUMP. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD THE WRONG POWER STEERING PUMP WHICH CAUSED THE PROBLEM. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND FILED A CLAIM. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 10,600. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 600. UPDATED 03/03/11 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE POWER STEERING PUMP HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES. ALSO, THE CARPET WAS LOOSE WHICH WAS OVERLAPPING ONTO THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE CONSUMER STATED IT WAS DIFFICULT TO REMOVE HIS FOOT FROM THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AT TIMES. UPDATED 03/08/11

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES TO HAVE THE BRAKE CONTROL MODULE REPLACED; HOWEVER, IT DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PERMANENTLY FIX THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 400 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 11000. THE CONSUMER STATED AS OF 05/12/11 THE BRAKES STILL DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE PROBLEM IS DUE TO THE TRAILER BRAKES. THE CONSUMER STATED IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO STOP WHEN CONNECTED TO THE 5TH WHEEL.
