POWER LOCKS OUT OF CONTROL, CONTINUOUSLY LOCKING AND UNLOCKING, WHETHER THE CAR IS IN MOTION OR STATIONARY. POWER LOCKS ARE VERY DISTURBING/DISTRACTING, CLICKING ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING.

CASE # WITH GMC IS 81598832107 9/30/15 WAS AT LEFT TURN LANE TO GO IN MY NEIGHBOR HOOD PUT IN PARK TO GRAB SOMETHING OF THE FLOOR WHEN I PUT BACK INTO DRIVE MY CAR STARTED TO REVERSE. PUT IT BACK INTO PARK AND THEN DRIVE AND THE SAME THING. LUCKY I HAD MY NEIGHBOR BEHIND ME HIM AND OTHERS HELP ME PUSH IT TO A SAFE ZONE VERY CLOSE TO MY HOUSE, PUSHED IT HALF WAY ON DRIVE WAY AND PUT IN PARK AND IT ROLLED ACROSS THE STREET WHILE TRYING TO STOP IT I PUT MYLEFT FOOT DOWN CAUSED MORE PAIN DUE TO ME RECENT SURGERY. THIS CAR HAS BEEN TO GMC FOR THE RECALL CABLE 3 TIMES, THIS TIME THEY SAID THEY ONLY PLACE HALF OF IT AND WILL NOW REPLACE THE WHOLE CABLE. WAS CALLED ON 9/30 5 HOURS AT THE SHOP AND WAS TOLD IT WAS READY, I EXPLAINED THAT I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. TOO MANY TIMES FOR THE SAME CABLE....I'VE ALSO HAD A ISSUE WITH THE SMELL OF GAS COMING FROM THE CAR BUT COULD NOT SEE ANY FUEL, SO I TOOK TO A MECHANIC AND HAD THEM LOOK AT IT AND SAID TE TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP WAS CRACKED I HAD THEM REPLACE THE WHOLE PUMP...THERE WAS FUEL LEAKING UNDER MY SEAT, I HAVE NOW SEEN THERE IS OTHER SATURN AURA WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR THIS A BIG ISSUE AND IF GMC AND I CAN COME TO AN AGREEMENT IT WILL BE EASY AGREEMENT. I WAS REALLY GLAD THAT I DID NO GIVE THIS CAR TO MY YOUNG NEPHEW WHO KNOWS WHAT WOULD OF HAPPENED......
STEERING STARTED PULSATING AND MOVING ITSELF. WHEN TRYING TO MANEUVER, THE STEERING STUCK AND WHEN ENOUGH FORCE WAS USED THE STEERING BROKE FREE BUT WOULD STICK AGAIN. THIS RESULTED IN SOMEWHAT ERRATIC MOVEMENTS ON THE ROAD. POTENTIAL FOR A CRASH FELT AS THOUGH IT WAS HIGH. TOOK TO DEALER WHERE THE POWER STEERING MODULE AND MOTOR WERE REPLACED FOR A TOTAL OF 767.26.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE CRUISE CONTROL FAILED. ADDITIONALLY, THE BRAKE LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITHOUT THE BRAKE PEDAL BEING DEPRESSED. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE BRAKES A FEW MONTHS LATER AND THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.

THE FRONT DOORS UNLOCKED BY THEMSELVES, THE TRUNK WOULD NOT UNLOCK, AND THE REAR DOORS WOULD NOT UNLOCK WHEN USING THE AUTOMATIC KEY. FURTHERMORE, THE ENGINE LIGHT SENSOR ILLUMINATED. 7/6/15-PULLED INTO A PARKING SPACE, PUT CAR IN PARK, GOT BACK IN, PUT CAR IN REVERSE, PULLING OUT BACKWARDS. WHEN I PUT CAR BACK INTO DRIVE IT WOULDN'T GO INTO FORWARD. CAR WAS RUNNING BUT I HAD NO GEARS AND MY SHIFTER WAS LOOSE...NOTHING. I LOOKED ON LINE FOR ANY OTHER RECALLS ON MY 2008 SATURN AURA FOR THIS PROBLEM AND FOUND BULLETIN # 14152, WHICH STATES MY VEHICLE HAS A CONDITION WHICH THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE COULD FRACTURE AT ANY TIME. WHEN THIS FRACTURE OCCURS, THE DRIVE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SELECT A DIFFERENT GEAR AND THE VEHICLE MAY MOVE IN AN UNINTENDED DIRECTION. THE CAR MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE SHIFTED INTO PARK OR ANY OTHER GEAR. I BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT HAS OCCURRED. WHEN I CALLED THE PHONE # FOR SATURN I WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR DOES NOT COME UNDER THIS RECALL, YET BACK IN NOVEMBER OF 2012 I DID RECEIVE A RECALL FOR A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE THAT HAS END FITTING TABS THAT MAY FRACTURE OR BREAK. THIS PROBLEM WAS FIXED BY A GM DEALER IN AUGUST OF 2013. CHECKING ONLINE I FOUND THAT RECALL # 14152 EXPANDS AN EARLIER RECALL #12106 (WHICH WAS CORRECTED 8/2013), YET SATURN SAYS THIS JUNE 2014 RECALL # 14152 DOES NOT APPLY TO MY CAR. I BELIEVE THAT IT DOES. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS SO I CAN DRIVE MY CAR AGAIN?
MY VEHICLE BEGAN WITH SERVICE TRACTION ILLUMINATION A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. TOOK IT INTO THE GM ELK GROVE DEALERSHIP AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT I HAD A BAD CATALIC CONVERTER AND FUEL INJECTION CLEANING NEEDED. ITEMS WERE REPLACED AND SERVICE COMPLETED. WITHIN A COUPLE/FEW YEARS, MY SERVICE TRACTION LIGHT CAME BACK ON WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND CAR BEGAN TO STALL, SAME ISSUES AS BEFORE. TOOK IT BACK TO GM ELK GROVE DEALERSHIP AND THEY STATED MY CATALIC COVERTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, MY FUEL TANK, MY AIR MASS FLOW SENSOR REPLACED ALONG WITH INTAKE SHAFT SENSOR AND ANOTHER SENSOR. I FIXED ALL ITEMS. TODAY NOT EVEN 6 MONTHS LATER, MY SERVICE TRACTION LIGHT IS BACK ON, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, AND ENGINE POWER REDUCED WHILE DRIVING ON FREEWAY. SPEED REDUCED AS LOW AS 45MILES PER HOUR AND WHEN YOU COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, CAR SHAKES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHILE TRAVELING AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED TO BACK OUT OF A PARKING SPACE, THE TRANSMISSION CABLE FRACTURED WITHOUT WARNING. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS ON AN INCLINE AND ACROSS TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC. THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO BE MOVED DUE TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE A TRANSMISSION CABLE KIT AND BRACKETS WERE INSTALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V224000 (POWER TRAIN) AND 12V460000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. I WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY AND I HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE, I NOTICED I COULD NOT SEE THE BRAKES LIGHTS ILLUMINATING. I HAD MY FRIEND PUSH THE BRAKE PEDAL AND I GOT OUT AND LOOKED AT THE BRAKE LIGHTS. ALL THREE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE NOT ILLUMINATING WHEN THE PEDAL IS PRESSED. IF THE CAR IS RUNNING THEY STILL DO NOT WORK, JUST THE LED'S IN THE TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY GET BRIGHTER WHEN THE PEDAL IS PRESSED. WE HAVE RECENTLY TAKEN THE AURA TO THE GM DEALER FOR THE BCM RECALL, THEY PUT IN A SPACER AND ADDED DI-ELECTRIC GREASE. IT WAS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY SINCE THE RECALL. ON MAY 4TH I REALIZED THE BRAKE LIGHTS WERE NO LONGER WORKING. ALSO THE POWER LOCKS WORK INTERMITTENTLY ON THE CAR. SOME DAYS THE LOCKS WORK, OTHER DAYS THEY DON'T (VERY ERRATIC).
THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON, TOOK MY CAR TO MILES CHEVROLET TO GET IT CHECKED OUT. THEY TOLD ME MY AIRBAG MODULE IS DEFECTIVE. MY CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND IT'S A 2008. THE AIRBAG SHOULD NOT BE DEFECTIVE FOR BOTH OF THOSE REASONS. I DON'T FEEL I SHOULD BE PAYING FOR THIS, AND I FEEL THIS IS GOING TO BE AN ONGOING ISSUE. ASSUMINGLY, THIS MAY BE THE REASON THE SATURN AURA HAD BEEN RECALLED AND NOT DISTRIBUTED ANYMORE, DUE TO THE MANY RECALLS THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, IF I GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT MY AIRBAGS WILL NOT DEPLOY. I AM ASKING THIS BE PUT ON THE RECALL LIST, AS I'VE SEEN MANY COMPLAINTS OF THIS ISSUE PARTICULARLY WITH THE SATURN AURAS, WHICH WERE ONLY PRODUCED FOR 3 YEARS, THEN TAKEN OFF THE MARKET. I PURCHASED A SET OF FOUR NEW KUMHO TIRES; THE NEXT DAY WHILE ACCELERATING AFTER A FULL STOP AT A YIELD SIGN, THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT TIRE SUDDENLY DECOMPRESSED. THE WHEEL COVER BROKE AND TRAVELED ACROSS THE ROAD INTO A FIELD. THE TIRE BEAD APPARENTLY UNSEALED. THE CAR STOPPED SAFELY AND THERE IS NO OTHER DAMAGE OTHER TAN THE TIRE AND WHEEL COVER. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFTS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE BODY CONTROL MODULE RECALL REPAIR WAS COMPLETED BUT NOW THE REAR LIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN THE HEADLIGHTS ARE ON. ALTHOUGH THE BRAKE LIGHTS NOW WORK AS INTENDED, THERE ARE NO OTHER LIGHTS WORKING ON THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. *TR
MY WIFE WAS DRIVING TO WORK ON THE HIGHWAY. ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. THE CAR REDUCED ENGINE POWER. A MESSAGE CAME UP ON THE DISPLAY SAYING TO SERVICE THE TRACTION CONTROL. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A GM DEALER. THEY SAID IT WAS THE THROTTLE BODY POSITION SENSOR. THE EXACT SAME INCIDENT HAPPENED TO AN ACQUAINTANCE THE WEEK BEFORE IN HER 2012 CHEVY MALIBU WITH THE DEALER DETERMINING THE CAUSE TO ALSO BE THE THROTTLE BODY POSITION SENSOR. THE INCIDENT IN MY CAR ALMOST CAUSED MY WIFE TO BE REAR ENDED DUE TO THE DRAMATIC SPEED CHANGE FROM GOING INTO LIMP MODE ALL OF THE SUDDEN AT HIGHWAY SPEED. *TR
THE VEHICLE WOULD SHUTTER WHEN I PLACED IT INTO REVERSE. ALSO, WHEN GOING INTO 3RD AND 5TH GEAR, THE RPMS WOULD JUMP SUDDENLY. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP WHO SAID IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION AND RECOMMENDED I SELL THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY AND BUY A NEW ONE. I THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THREE TRANSMISSION SHOPS WHO CONFIRMED THE TRANSMISSION HAS KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH THE WAVE PLATE BREAKING. MY SATURN AURA WILL BE FIXED TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH. IT WAS CONFIRMED THE WAVE PLATE BROKE WHICH TORE UP THE DRUM. THE TRANSMISSION SHOP HAS BOXED UP THE BAD PARTS FOR ME TO KEEP. *TR

2008 SATURN AURA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO BROKEN WELD ON FRONT SEAT FRAME. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE DRIVER'S SEAT LEANED TO THE RIGHT SIDE. ONE DAY, WHILE ADJUSTING THE POWER SEAT, THE SEAT LIFTED HIGH ON ONE SIDE AS OPPOSED TO THE OTHER. HE LOOKED UNDER THE SEAT AND NOTICED A BLACK METAL BAR HAD BEEN WELDED TO THE METAL FRAME OF THE SEAT HAD ACTUALLY SEPARATED FROM THE FRAME ITSELF CAUSING THE SEAT NOT TO FUNCTION AS DESIGNED. *JB
LOW BEANS NOT WORKING, REPLACED LIGHT BULBS, RELAYS AND FUSE ARE GOOD
TAKATA RECALL ?? I WAS DRIVING HOME, HEARD A LOUD NOISE IN BACK OF CAR, DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT WAS. GOT HOME, WENT TO BACK IN GARAGE & REVERSE WOULD NOT WORK. PUT IN DRIVE, VERY SLUGGISH MOVEMENT. WAS ABLE TO PARK, BUT NEXT MORNING, HUSBAND WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT ANY GEARS TO WORK. CAR WAS TOWED, TOLD TRANSMISSION.

DRIVING ENTERING THE FREEWAY WHEN MY 1008 SATURN AURA SUDDENLY WHEN INTO NEUTRAL MODE WHILE THE GEAR LEVER WAS STILL ON DRIVE. THE FELT LIKE IT WENT TO NEUTRAL - PRESSING ON GAS RPM IS UP BUT THE CAR WAS NOT RESPONDING. TRUCK WAS BEHIND ME ALMOST HIT ME.... 2008 SATURN AURA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE RECALL REPAIR ISSUES. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED SHE RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER IN NOVEMBER 2012. SHE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT AT THE DEALER AND THE REPAIRS WERE MADE IN JANUARY 2013. HOWEVER, SOMETIME IN EARLY 2015, IT BECAME DIFFICULT FOR HER TO SHIFT GEARS, PARTICULARLY BETWEEN REVERSE AND DRIVE. FINALLY ON JULY 3, 2015, WHILE TRYING PARK, THE GEAR WOULD NOT MOVE FROM DRIVE TO REVERSE. AFTER QUITE A STRUGGLE SHE WAS ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE INTO PARK, REMOVE THE KEY AND SET THE PARKING BRAKE. HOWEVER, WHEN SHE TRIED TO RE-START THE VEHICLE MINUTES LATER, THE IGNITION WOULD NOT START. WITH THE VEHICLE STILL IN PARK, WITH THE PARKING BRAKE SET, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL FORWARD INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE WHEN THE BATTERY WAS BEING JUMPED. FORTUNATELY, THE CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE BEFORE IT MADE CONTACT WITH THE OTHER VEHICLE. IN ORDER TO START THE VEHICLE SHE HAD TO FIND WHERE THE NEUTRAL WAS ON THE TRANSMISSION;PARK ON THE GEAR WAS REVERSE FOR THE TRANSMISSION; DRIVE FOR THE TRANSMISSION WAS BETWEEN NEUTRAL AND REVERSE; AND PARK FOR THE TRANSMISSION WAS ABSENT REQUIRING THE EMERGENCY PARKING BRAKE TO HOLD THE VEHICLE IN PLACE. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER CABLE AND THE BRACKET THAT WAS REPLACED BACK IN JANUARY 2013. THE ORIGINAL PART, THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEM AT THE TIME, WAS REPLACED WITH A PART THAT BECAME A PROBLEM LATER. THE CONSUMER REFERENCED RECALL # 12V460000. *JB

PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT. AIRBAG LIGHT DOES NOT REMAIN ON WHEN A PASSENGER OF 115+ LBS IS IN THE SEAT. I HAD THE DEALERSHIP CHECK IT AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM. IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT MAYBE THE PASSENGER WAS NOT SITTING PROPERLY. EXPERIMENTED WITH SEVERAL DIFFERENT SIZE PASSENGERS AND THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. HOW SAFE IS MY PASSENGER? IS THE AIRBAG ACTIVATED EVEN IF THE LIGHT DOES NOT STAY ON? INTERMEDIATE DRIVE SHAFT---KEEP HEARING A CLUNKING/POPPING SOUND AS WELL AS FEELING A POP UNDER MY FEET ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. DEALERSHIP SAID IT IS THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT THAT NEEDS REPLACED BUT THAT IT IS NOT A HAZARD. HOW CAN A SHAFT RELATED TO THE STEERING NOT BE A HAZARD. *TR
WAS RECALLED FOR A ELECTRIC POWER STEERING ASSIST. NOT EVEN TWO MONTHS LATER THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM HAS COMPLETELY FAILED. I CANT EVEN GO A QUARTER MILE DOWN THE ROAD.IT WILL DRIVE A LITTLE DOWN THE ROAD AND POWER STEERING WILL FLASH ON THE DASH AND TURNS ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. I HAVE TO SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS ESPECIALLY IF THERE ISN'T A PLACE TO PULL OVER WITHOUT MAKING A TURN. I CALLED GM AND THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET TO GET IT FIXED AND THEY WOULD NOT REIMBURSE ME FOR WHAT IT COSTS.I DON'T THINK THIS IS RIGHT CONSIDERING THAT THIS WAS THE ONE THING THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO FIX I CANT AFFORD TO FIX IT. WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AFTER SETTING THE CRUISE CONTROL IT WILL JUST CUT OFF BY ITSELF. THEN WILL NOT RESET WHEN YOU TRY TO SET IT AGAIN UNTIL THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED. I'M ASSUMING BECAUSE OF THE RECALL OF THE STEERING WHEEL MODULE IT SOMEHOW AFFECTED OTHER PARTS OF THE STEERING BUT THAT'S NOT A RECALL YET. I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE IT ESPECIALLY ON THE HIGHWAYS. THE PROBLEM OF LOSING POWER STEERING MIGHT OF BEEN FIXED BUT WHAT ABOUT THE STEERING SHAKING AND MOVING BY ITSELF? MY HUSBAND WAS ALONE DRIVING, WAS EARLY A.M. WHEN A COYOTE RAN OUT ON COUNTRY ROAD. HE HAS HAD THIS MANY TIMES BEFORE HAVING LIVED IN THE AREA OVER 60+ YRS. HE WAS IN 2 LANE ROAD, HE WENT TO BRAKE AND SWERVED WHEN HE SAID THE CAR BECAME UNABLE TO CONTROL, HE HIT THE BURN ON SIDE OF ROAD FLIPPING CAR NUMEROUS TIMES ENDING UPSIDE DOWN. HE WAS STUCK IN SEAT BELT UNABLE TO GET LOOSE FOR 15 MIN FINALLY GETTING OUT OF IT. HE WAS SEEN BY DRS @ HOSPITAL AND RELEASED WITH BRUISED RIBS, CUTS AND ABRASIONS. WHEN I TALKED TO HIM ON PHONE LATER HE RELATES WHAT HAD HAPPENED ALSO SAYING "IT SEEMED LIKE THE CAR HAD A MIND OF ITS OWN, IT WOULDN' T STEER OR BRAKE RIGHT." I TOLD HIM TO REST AND I WOULD TALK TO HIM LATER. THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I EVER TALKED TO HIM, AS HE DIED OF THE BLUNT FORCE TRAMA FROM THAT ACCIDENT, THAT WAS OCT 7, 2014. I BELIEVE HIS VEHICLE IS TO BLAME FOR THIS ACCIDENT, AS I KNOW WHAT KIND OF DRIVER HE IS, OFF ROAD , AROUND OUR RURAL AREA ANIMALS ARE ALWAYS JUMPING OUT ON THE ROAD, AND HE NEVER HAS HAD A ACCIDENT. HE DOESN'T PANIC, HE KNOWS HOW TO DRIVE OFF ROAD, AND HAVE RACED IN SCORE OFF ROAD FUNCTIONS IN HE YOUNGER DAYS. HE WAS AN EXCELLENT DRIVER, DRIVING OTHERS, BECAUSE HE DIDN'T DRINK, AND WAS VERY SAFE IN DRIVING.

MY 2008 SATURN AURA XR HAD SHIFTED VERY HARD FROM 2ND TO 3RD GEAR BUT THEN SEEMED TO OPERATE NORMALLY. DROVE FOR APPROXIMATELY 20 MILES AND HAD JUST GOTTEN OFF OF THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ONCE AGAIN SHIFT VERY HARD FROM ONE GEAR TO THE NEXT. WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 25 MPH WHEN IT SUDDENLY DID ONE LAST VERY HARD SHIFT. THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN AND PROCEED TO POWER DOWN ON ITS OWN. CAME TO A FULL STOP AND THE VECHICLE WOULD NO LONGER MOVE FORWARD. VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED HOME. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH GM AND ACCORDING TO THEM, MY VIN# DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ANY RECALLS REGARDING TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS ATTACHED TO IT. I WILL HAVE TO COVER THE COST OF REPAIRS MYSELF. ALTHOUGH MY SPECIFIC VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE ANY CURRENT OR PAST RECALLS REGARDING ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION ISSUES, THERE ARE RECALLS LISTED OUT THERE FOR OTHER SATURN AURAS. THERE IS OBVIOUSLY AN ISSUE AND GM SHOULD STEP UP AND TAKE CARE OF IT. HAD TO PAY FOR A BODY CONTROL MODULE REPAIR, ONLY TO HAVE ANOTHER BCM REPAIR PURSUANT TO A RECALL REGARDING THE BRAKE LIGHTS. DEALER SAID THE REPAIRS WERE DISTINCT AND WOULD NOT REFUND FOR THE DOOR LOCK REPAIR. CURRENTLY, THE DOOR LOCKS STILL DO NOT WORK AS EXPECTED, AS THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR DOOR DOES NOT RESPOND TO ANY ELECTRICAL SIGNAL TO OPEN OR CLOSE. *TR

EVERY 6-8 MONTHS I AM HAVING TO REPLACE BOTH HEADLIGHTS AS THEY ARE BURNING OUT ON BOTH SIDES. I'M NOT SURE IF THIS IS A MECHANICAL ISSUE BUT WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT AND HAVING THE LIGHTS BURN OUT REPEATEDLY, I AM AFRAID OF AN ACCIDENT OCCURRING. HEADLIGHTS SHOULD NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED SO OFTEN. IS THERE A RECALL ON THE PARTS FOR THE HEADLIGHTS? ARE THERE OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME ISSUE?
