2006 SATURN ION DOES NOT RELEASE THE IGNITION KEY WHEN SHUTTING THE ENGINE OFF. THE FAILURE IS INTERMITTENT OCCURRINGGG ABOUT 50% OF THE TIME. TO GET THE IGNITION KEY TO RELEASE CAN TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 30 SECONDS TO SEVERAL MINUTES BY TRYING TO ENGAGE AND RE-ENGAGE THE SHIFTING MECHANISM TO PARK AND SOMETIMES BY LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE CAR DOORS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT 2006 SATURN ION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH THE POWER STEERING LIGHT FLASHED ON AND THEN THE POWER STEERING MALFUNCTIONED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO CONTACT AND COULD HAVE CAUSE A CRASHED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM BUT THERE WERE NO RECALLS. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY RISK. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.
WAS DRIVING 2006 SATURN ION ABOUT 40MPH AND THE POWER STEERING SHUT DOWN WITH A MESSAGE ON THE DASHBOARD. THE WHEEL WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO TURN AND I HAD A HARD TIME GETTING OFF THE ROAD BECAUSE OF IT. THE NEXT TIME I DROVE THE VEHICLE THE POWER STEERING WORKED FINE BUT 2 MORE TIMES SINCE THE POWER STEERING HAS SUDDENLY SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SATURN ION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THERE WAS A CHIME INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE FOLLOWED BY THE POWER STEERING WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATION. THE CONTACT EXERTED EXCESSIVE FORCE WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL AND PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMALLY. THE SAME FAILURE REOCURRED THREE TIMES BEFORE REACHING THE DESTINATION. THE CONTACT PLANNED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 28,500.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2006 ION THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT ON THE VEHICLE. AFTER I STOPPED SOMEWHERE, SHUT OFF THE ENGINE AND RESTARTED THE CAR, THE PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED. THE SAME THING CONTINUED TO HAPPEN MORE AND MORE FREQUENTLY, HOWEVER, AND NOW HAPPENS EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE CAR ALMOST AS SOON AS I START DRIVING. I HAVE SEEN MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS ONLINE REGARDING THIS DANGEROUS FAILURE OF VEHICLE EQUIPMENT ON CARS THAT ARE NOT VERY OLD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SATURN ION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THERE WAS LOUD CHIME WITH COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND THE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATION. THE VEHICLE WAS MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, WHERE THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AND RESUMED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE BE TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING. THE FAILURE OCCURRED NINE TIMES. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000.
WHEN I TRY TO TAKE OUT MY KEY I CAN NOT REMOVE IT. I AM ABLE TO TURN OFF THE MOTOR, BUT THEN THE KEY IS STUCK IN THAT POSITION AND I CAN NOT REMOVE IT. I AM CONCERN THAT THEY KEY COULD STICK IN THE POSITION WHERE THE CAR IS STILL RUNNING OR THAT IT WON'T COME OUT AT ALL.. I SOMETIMES HAVE TO STAY IN MY CAR FOR 2-3 MINUTES, SO THAT I CAN REMOVE THE KEY. I KNOW I CAN REMOVE THE KEY WHEN THE CAR MAKES A CERTAIN SOUND. IT IS A SOFT CLICK, AS IF SOMETHING IS RELEASED. IT SOUNDS SIMILAR TO THE WHEN YOU UNLOCK YOUR CAR DOORS WITH THE AUTOMATIC SWITCH, BUT QUIETER. THE KEY STICKS 1-2 TIMES/WEEK AT LEAST. (I USE MY CAR TWICE A DAY, TO AND FROM WORK, THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR SEVERAL YEARS AGO. AT THE TIME IT HAD MAYBE 40,000 MILES. NOW IT HAS 82000 MILES. *TR
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE EXPRESS WAY, AND MY POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT FLASHED ACROSS MY MILEAGE, AND I LOST ALL POWER STEERING. VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER CAR. I GET TO WORK TURN MY CAR OFF. AND WHEN I LEAVE WORK, I START MY CAR AND I HAVE FULLY FUNCTIONAL POWERSTEERING AGAIN. BUT NOW WHEN I DRIVE IN THE COURSE OF 2MILES MY POWER STEERING FLASHES THE WARNING LIGHT AND I LOOSE ALL POWER STEERING. I CAN TURN MY CAR OFF AND RESTART IT AND I ONCE AGAIN HAVE POWER STEERING. WHEN I DRIVE IN A COURSE OF 15 MILES MY POWER STEERING FAILS AND SHUT COMPLETELY OFF ABOUT 15-20 TIMES. THIS IS VERY VERY DANGEROUS AND VERY INCONVENIENT. I HAVE A SMALL CHILD AND THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE ME TO HAVE A WRECK. AND SERIOUSLY INJURE MYSELF OR HER. *TR
I HAVE A 2006 SATURN ION QUAD COUP. A FEW WEEKS AGO I HAD THE FUEL PUMP REPLACED WHICH WAS A RECALL ITEM. LAST WEEK THE IGNITION SWITCH LOCKED IN THE "ON" POSITION BUT THE KEY WOULD COME OUT. I WAS ABLE TO STALL THE ENGINE TO STOP IT FROM BURNING GAS. THE NEXT DAY THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. MY EXTENDED FAMILY HAS TWO OTHER IONS. A 2003 ION AND A 2005 WHICH ALL HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS. THE 2005 LOCKED IN THE ON POSITION AND THE 2003 IS HAVING DIFFICULTY GETTING THE KEY OUT TO TURN OFF THE CAR. I BELIEVE IF A CAR CANNOT BE SHUT DOWN THIS REPRESENTS A SAFETY ISSUE. FURTHER, THE ODDS THAT 3 OUT OF THREE IONS ALL HAVE THE SAME IGNITION ISSUE IS EYE CATCHING. *TR
1. NO SPECIAL EVENTS LEADING UP TO FAILURE 2. NEEDS NEW FUEL PUMP MODULE KIT DUE TO CRACKS IN PLASTIC TUBING. CAR LEAKS FLAMMABLE GAS VAPOR AT THIS TIME-COULD LEAD TO LIQUID LEAKAGE. 3. LOCAL MECHANIC HAS ORDERED NEW FUEL PUMP MODULE KIT TO FIX PROBLEM. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SATURN ION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS FILLED WITH A FUEL ODOR. THE SMELL WAS COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND THERE WAS A FUEL LEAK UNDER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
WHEN IT IS COLD OUTSIDE (AROUND OR BELOW FREEZING) OR JUST VERY WET OUTSIDE MY CAR WILL NOT START. IT HAS WHAT IS DESCRIBED AS A "NO CRANK/NO START WITH FULL POWER" ISSUE. MY CAR HAS COMPLETE POWER, BUT IT WILL NOT TURN OVER. A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN SAYS THAT IT IS MY IGNITION SWITCH OR THE BODY CONTROL MODULE. THIS APPEARS TO BE A "NORMAL" PROBLEM WITH ION'S IN ALL MODEL YEARS. *TT
I OWN A 2006 SATURN ION AND YESTERDAY MY KEY GOT STUCK IN THE IGNITION AND THE CAR WOULD NOT TURN OFF. NO ONE WAS ABLE TO GET MY KEY OUT OR MY CAR OFF, SO I TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE CYLINDER AND IT COST $430. I RESEARCHED ONLINE AND THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM WITH THESE SATURNS AND THERE HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL. I FEEL THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL THROUGH SATURN, SO I WANTED TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT. *TR
BEGINNING IN NOVEMBER OF 2010, MY 2006 SATURN ION WILL FREQUENTLY NOT START WHEN I ENTER MY KEY AND TURN THE IGNITION. THIS USUALLY OCCURS IN COLD TEMPERATURES, BUT HAS ALSO HAPPENED IN WARM TEMPERATURES. THE SECURITY LIGHT ON MY DASHBOARD WILL LIGHT UP AND IT WILL TAKE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES, SOMETIMES UP TO 40 MINUTES FOR MY CAR TO FINALLY START. I HAVE MISSED SEVERAL DAYS OF WORK BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE SPENT OVER $1000 TRYING TO REPAIR THIS PROBLEM WITH NO LUCK. I HAVE SEEN THAT THOUSANDS OF OTHER SATURN IONS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. 2006 SATURN ION. CONSUMER STATES PROBLEMS WITH STEERING *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING, SHE RECEIVED A SIGNAL STATING THE POWER STEERING WAS NOT FUNCTIONING. THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, WHERE SHE WAS INFORMED OTHER MODELS THAT HAVE THE SAME STEERING MOTOR WAS RECALLED. THE CONSUMER MAILED IN A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN OF THE AFFECTED MODELS WITH ELECTRIC POWER STEERING PROBLEMS WHICH INCLUDED HER MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR. *JB

WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING LIGHT ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY AND THEN SHE LOST THE ABILITY TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE BEGAN SIX WEEKS AGO. THE CONTACT DID NOT INFORM THE DEALER DUE TO DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND REPAIR COST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RELATED RECALLS. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 47,893. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 45,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SATURN ION 3. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING WARNING LAMP ILLUMINATED AND THERE WAS A LOSS OF STEERING CAPABILITIES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING WOULD RESET ITSELF ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE AS THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING BEING DEFECTIVE AND NEEDING REPLACEMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 109,847. UPDATED 4/11/2011 *CN UPDATED 04/14/11
MY CAR IS ONLY 5 YEARS OLD AND NOW HAS 36,000 MILES ON IT. WHENEVER IT IS COLD OUTSIDE MY CAR DOES NOT START. ALL OF THE LIGHTS WORK AND THE CAR WILL MAKE A CLICK, BUT THE CAR ITSELF WILL NOT TURN ON. I HAVE BEEN STRANDED MULTIPLE TIMES AT NIGHT IN THE FREEZING COLD WITH NO WAY OF GETTING HOME. TWO TIMES I HAVE BEEN STRANDED IN A DARK PARKING GARAGE. THIS IS CONSTANTLY RE-OCCURRING PROBLEM AND I SEE THAT HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE. WHEN I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO THE SHOP I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE RECALLED AS MANY PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. ALSO, I HAVE HAD MANY ISSUES WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM. I HAVE ALREADY HAD THE FUEL INJECTOR REPLACED,AND THE FUEL TANK REPLACED. IT IS IN THE SHOP AGAIN TODAY BECAUSE THERE WERE MORE ISSUES WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM. THE FUEL IN MY CAR WAS NOT HEATING UP THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE, AND I WAS GETTING ABOUT 30% LESS MILES PER TANK THAN BEFORE. OVER THE FEW YEARS I HAVE HAD CORDS TO THE FUEL SYSTEM REPLACED, REMOVED, ADJUSTED, ETV. I HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON REPAIRS FOR A 5 YEAR OLD CAR WITH 36,000 MILES ON IT. AND IT IS THE SAME PROBLEMS HAPPENING OVER AND OVER. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE IGNITION CYLINDER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 112,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY THE CHIME SOUNDED AND THE "PWR STR" MESSAGE DISPLAYS IN THE MESSAGE CENTER. THE POWER STEERING NO LONGER WORKS. AFTER MUSCLING THE VEHICLE HOME I PARKED IT AND STARTED IT THE NEXT MORNING AND THE VEHICLE WAS BACK TO NORMAL. HAD AN IDENTICAL EXPERIENCE ON THE FREEWAY A WEEK LATER. THE DEALERSHIP DOESN'T BELIEVE ME BECAUSE IT'S BACK TO NORMAL WHEN I TAKE IT TO THEM. *TR
THE CAR WAS TURNED ON ONLY TO FIND OUT WHEN WE WENT TO GET OUT THAT THE CAR WOULD NOT SHUT OFF. THE ONLY WAY TO SHUT THE CAR OFF WAS TO PULL THE FUEL INJECTOR FUSE UNDER THE HOOD. *TR

TIMING CHAIN BRACKET FAILS CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE TIMING CHAIN. SATURN KNOWS OF THIS PROBLEM AND IS STOCKING PARTS IN ANTICIPATION OF THE OCCURANCE. I WAS TOLD THIS BY THE SERVICE REPAIRMAN. *TR
I OWN A 2006 SATURN ION LEVEL 2 THAT I BOUGHT FAIRLY KNEW IN 2007. I HAVE NOTICED A CLICKING NOISE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER I PUT MY KEY IN THE IGNITION TO START MY CAR. I HAVE ALSO NOTICED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS WHEN I TRY TO TURN MY CAR OFF, THAT IT BECAME MORE AND MORE DIFFICULT TO GET THE KEY OUT OF THE SWITCH. JUST THREE DAYS AGO I TRIED TO TURN MY CAR OFF AFTER DRIVING AND THE IGNITION WOULD NOT SHUT OFF AT ALL NOR COULD I GET MY KEY OUT. I WAS STRANDED OUT OF TOWN UNTIL I COULD CALL A FAMILY MEMBER TO COME AND FIGURE OUT HOW TO SHUT MY CAR OFF. IT TOOK HIM HOURS BEFORE HE JUST DECIDED TO TAKE OUT THE FUSE AND UNHOOK THE BATTERY. AFTER HOURS OF TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW I CAN GET BACK HOME SAFELY AND DRIVE ON THE INTERSTATE 4 HOURS AWAY FROM WHERE I WAS VISITING . I NOW HAVE TO START MY CAR BY HOOKING THE IGNITION WIRE SWITCH JUST SO THAT I CAN HAVE TRANSPORTATION. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS AND APPARENTLY THERE IS A LONG LIST OF SATURN OWNERS WHO HAVE HAD THE SAME COMPLAINT WITH THEIR VEHICLES SINCE AT 2007. I COULD NOT FIND ONE RECALL IN REGARDS TO A IGNITION CYLINDER MALFUNCTION ON THE INTERNET OR THIS SITE. I AM OUTRAGED BECAUSE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE I COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN DRIVING AND GOD KNOWS WHAT ELSE COULD HAVE HAPPENED. THE ESTIMATED COST FOR THIS REPAIR IS ABOUT 500 TO 600 DOLLARS WHICH IS A RIDICULOUS COST THAT OWNERS SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR. IT NEED TO BE ON THE RECALL LIST IMMEDIATELY, THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE SOMEONE COULD GET SERIOUSLY HURT. *TR
THERE IS A VERY STRONG SMELL OF FUEL IN THE CAB OF THE VEHICLE AND OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE FUEL PUMP SEEMS TO HAVE A LEAK. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SATURN ION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THERE WAS A COMPLETE LOSS OF THE POWER STEERING AND THE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT APPLIED FORCE TO THE STEERING WHEEL AND CONTINUED WITH CAUTION. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED, THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000.
WHEN I FIRST GOT MY 2006 SATURN ION, I WAS THE FIRST AND ONLY OWNER BOUGHT IT FROM THE SATURN DEALERSHIP WITH LESS THAN A 50 MILES ON THE CAR. BEFORE 30 DAYS OF OWNING THE AUTOMOBILE IT QUIT ON ME IN THE MIDDLE OF BUSY INTERSECTION ENDANGERING MYSELF AND MY CHILDREN. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY HAVE CLAIMED TO FIX THE IGNITION SWITCH ON THE AUTOMOBILE, SEVERAL WEEKS LATER THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED THEY THEN REPLACED THE KEY. THEN MONTHS LATER MY ALARM STARTED GOING OFF SPONTANEOUSLY, THE BATTERY WENT DEAD ON THE AUTOMOBILE WHICH I HAVE REPLACED 3 TIMES, THE IGNITION SWITCH WENT OUT AGAIN I HAD TO REPLACE THAT MYSELF OUT OF POCKET IN MARCH OF 2009. STILL AFTER REPLACING THE BATTERY, GETTING THE IGNITION SWITCH FIXED TWICE, AND HAVING THE ELECTRICAL PARTS LOOKED AT THE CAR STILL CONTINUES TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. IF I GET GAS WHY THE CAR IS NOT CRANKED IT WILL NOT CRANK BACK UP FOR HOURS!!! IT WILL GO DEAD WHILE I'M DRIVING ON A FREEWAY DOES THIS ALL THE TIME! THIS SATURN ION HAS CAUSED ME NOTHING BUT MONEY AND PROBLEMS SINCE I'VE HAD IT I PURCHASED A ADDITIONAL WARRANTY ON THE AUTOMOBILE WHEN I BOUGHT IT AND THEY REFUSE TO REPLACE OR FIX ANY OF THE WORK ON THE AUTOMOBILE WHEN I ONLY HAVE GOTTEN MY CAR SERVICED WITH SATURN THEY DO ALL OF MY OIL CHANGES, AND MAINTENANCE AND CHARGE ME A ARM AND LEG TO MAINTAIN THE MAINTENANCE ON THE AUTOMOBILE. I HAVE HAD TO PAY SO MUCH MONEY ON THIS AUTOMOBILE FOR MAINTENANCE THAT SHOULD NOT EVEN BE A ISSUE AT THIS TIME MY CAR DOESN'T EVEN HAVE 84K ON IT YET. YOU CAN SMELL GAS SOMETIMES COMING FROM THIS AUTOMOBILE, AND THE BATTERY IS IN THE TRUNK OF THE CAR...SO WHEN IT DRAINS MY BATTERY GOES GO DEAD. THE DEFECTS ON THIS AUTOMOBILE WILL KILL SOMEONE ONE DAY. *TR
I HAVE A 2006 SATURN ION 2 SEDAN WITH APPROXIMATELY 75, 000 MILES CURRENTLY ON IT AND THE INCIDENT I HAVE ON MY CAR IS WITH THE POWER STEERING LOCKING UP ON ME. IT SEEMS TO OCCUR WHEN I DRIVE DISTANCES OVER 15 MILES AND THERE IS AN OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE OVER 60 DEGREES. IT STARTED AROUND LATE SEPTEMBER WHEN TEMPERATURE WAS IN THE 70-80 RANGE. FOR THE NEXT TWO MONTHS IT CEASED WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED BELOW 60 DEGREES. I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS ANY RELATION BETWEEN THE TEMPERATURE AND THE PROBLEM, BUT IT WAS JUST MY OBSERVATION. IT OCCURRED ON ME AGAIN ON DECEMBER 31. THE POWER STEERING MESSAGE DISAPPEARS AND THE STEERING WHEEL STOPS LOCKING WHEN I STOP AND RESTART MY VEHICLE. THE STEERING WHEEL HAS LOCKED UP ON ME ON MAJOR HIGHWAYS NUMEROUS TIMES AS A CONSEQUENCE, MAKING IT VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. I HAVE HAD TO AVOID ACCIDENTS WITH DRIVING SKILLS AND PRAYER. AFTER WAITING FIVE MINUTES, THE POWER STEERING BEGAN TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. IT APPEARS THAT THERE ARE QUITE A FEW PEOPLE THAT WOULD LIKE TO PURSUE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST SATURN/GM AS THERE HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO INVESTIGATIONS, RECALLS, OR EVEN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF SAID ISSUE. THIS SAME VEHICLE HAD A RECALL ON THE FUEL PUMP MODULE AND WAS LEAKING GAS, HAD THIS OCCURRED AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY UNSAFE FOR THE CAR TO HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE ENTIRE TIME WITH A GAS LEAK. FORTUNATELY I HAD JUST REPAIRED THE FUEL PUMP MODULE 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THIS ISSUE WITH THE IGNITION. *TR
