BROUGHT MY 2007 SATURN VUE TO REPAIR A POWERFUL GASOLINE SMELL AROUND THE REAR OF CAR, NEAR GAS CAP. SAID IT WOULD COST $332 TO LIFT OUT FUEL TANK TO SEE WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS. 4 HOURS LATER, MECHANIC SAID THE TANK WAS DRENCHED WITH GASOLINE BECAUSE THE LINES TO THE FUEL PUMP WERE CRIMPED AND CRACKED SO THERE WAS GASOLINE LEAKING OUT. (WONDER WHY I WAS REFUELING SO OFTEN?) I NEED A NEW FUEL PUMP COSTS $600. I'LL BE SURE TO USE MY 10% OFF COUPON. THE WORST PART WAS NO ENGINE LIGHT EVER CAME ON TO WARN ME!!!! ALSO WITHIN THE LAST 10 MONTHS, I HAVE HAD THE BATTERY REPLACED, 2 NEW LIFT GATES, BRAKES AND NEW TIRES. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GOOD ABOUT OIL CHANGES/MAINTENANCE BUT I GUESS NEW CARS ARE ONLY SUPPOSED TO LAST 10 YEARS. BUMMER! *TR
MY IGNITION CYLINDER NEEDS REPLACED. MY KEYS ARE COMING OUT OF THE IGNITION WITH THE CAR STILL ON, DOES NOT MATTER WHETHER IN PARK OR NOT, MY KEY WILL SLIDE OUT. SO NOW I HAVE TO GET THIS FIXED BUT WHILE I WAIT TO HAVE IT FIXED, I HAVE TO ALWAYS MAKE SURE MY CAR IS IN PARK OR AN ACCIDENT COULD HAPPEN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN VUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WIRING WAS MALFUNCTIONING IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAT HEATER WAS TURNED ON IN ORDER FOR THE AIR BAG TO BE ACTIVATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
WHILE PULLING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE, THE TIMING CHAIN TENSION SLIPPED AND BROKE. THIS CAUSED BROKEN ROCKER ARMS AND INTERNAL ENGINE DAMAGE. THE RESULT IS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE ENGINE! AT A COST OF $5,000 THIS LEAVES ME IN A DILEMMA, SHOULD I JUNK THE CAR (WHICH I BOUGHT 1 1/2 YEARS AGO FOR $7,500) AND PUT THE $5,000 TOWARD A NEW USED CAR. I NOTICED THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS EXACT FAILURE FOR SATURN VUE, BUT NOT FOR MY MODEL YEAR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN VUE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 TO 55 MPH, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE PANEL DISPLAYED THAT THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE VIBRATED UNCONTROLLABLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
2007 SATURN VUE. THE CONSUMERS WIFE WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *TA HIS WIFE WAS INJURED AND THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. *JB
THE AIRBAG LIGHT BEGAN COMING ON AT RANDOM TIMES AND NOW REMAINS ON. I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ENTIRE PASSENGER SEAT MODULE HAD TO BE REPLACED AT THE COST OF APPROX. $1,000.00. WITH THIS CURRENT MALFUNCTION, IF I WERE TO BE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WITH A PASSENGER, THE PASSENGER'S AIRBAG WOULD NOT DEPLOY. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE COVERED/FIXED BY THE MANUFACTURER. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN VUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN ATTEMPTING TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF, THE IGNITION FAILED TO TURN COMPLETELY INTO THE OFF POSITION. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE KEY COULD BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION WHILE IN DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION AND THE TUMBLER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 126,504.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY KNEE ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE KEY AND IT FELL RIGHT OUT OF THE IGNITION SWITCH. I HAVE TO FUMBLE AROUND FOR IT ON THE FLOOR WHILE THE CAR WAS RUNNING AND MOVING. I ALSO HAVE NOTICED IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS THAT I HAVE TO JIGGLE THE IGNITION SWITCH QUITE A FEW TIMES BACK AND FORTH IN ORDER TO START THE CAR. THIS HAPPENS ALOT SOME WEEKS AND OTHER WEEKS, JUST A FEW TIMES. *TR
I WAS DRIVING TO COLLEGE WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. UPON STOPPING AT A RED LIGHT, THE AUTO-STOP FEATURE KICKED IN BUT ONCE I STARTED GOING, THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AND THE ENTIRE VEHICLE STARTED RUNNING HORRIBLY AND THE LIGHTS DIMMING. THE AIRBAG, TRACTION CONTROL, AND ABS DASH LIGHTS ALL STARTED TURNING ON AND THEN OFF ALSO. SO I NOW HAVE BOTH CHECK ENGINE AND BATTERY LIGHTS STAYING ON. I WENT TO MY FATHERS HOUSE TO USE HIS CODE READER SINCE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP WAS CLOSED AND I HAVE THE FOLLOWING CODES: POABB, POAFB, P1A47, P1174, AND THREE POA37. THESE CODES ARE ALL SAYING THAT THE HYBRID SYSTEM IS OVER VOLTAGE AND THE DIAGNOSTIC FIX IS TO REPLACE THE HYBRID SYSTEM/POWER INVERTER. I'M GOING TO THE CERTIFIED SATURN DEALERSHIP IN THE MORNING TO HAVE IT THOROUGHLY LOOKED AT. BUT AFTER LOOKING AT OTHER COMPLAINTS, IT SEEMS THAT GM SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT ALL THE HYBRID LINE BATTERY SYSTEMS FOR FAULTINESS AND NEEDS TO FIX THEM! *TR
MY AIR BAG LIGHT HAS COME ON NUMEROUS TIMES IN THE PAST YEAR WHEN MY GAS GOES DOWN BELOW A HALF TANK. STEERING BECOMES A BIT MORE STIFF WHEN THE LIGHT IS ON. IT DOES EVENTUALLY GO OUT. WHEN I AM IN AND OUT OF THE CAR SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY THE LIGHT WILL ALL OF A SUDDEN COME ON. MY BRAKES ACT STRANGELY WHEN THE LIGHT IS ON. I HAVE HAD MY BRAKES DONE SO I KNOW THEY ARE OKAY. IT WORRIES ME THAT THE AIRBAG JUST RANDOMLY COMES ON. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,633.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN VUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 113,000.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET AND SMOKE BEGAN COMING FROM AROUND THE STEERING WHEEL OF MY CAR. A SYMBOL OF A PERSON HOLDING A AIRBAG APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD, I THEN FELT THAT THE AIRBAG WAS GOING TO DEPLOY. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OUT OF TRAFFIC INTO A AUTO ZONE. AWORKER SEEN THE SMOKE, AND FELT MY CAR WAS ON FIRE. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THE SMOKE IS COMING FROM AROUND THE STEERING WHEEL. HE SAID "GET OUT OF YOUR CAR, IT'S DANGEROUS! THE AIRBAG LIGHTS FOR BOTH DRIVER SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE COME ON AND OFF. MY SATURN IS PAID FOR, AND I'M UNEMPLOYED RIGHT NOW AND CAN NOT AFFORD TO INVEST IN A NEW VEHICLE. WHAT CAN BE DONE FOR THE SAFETY OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRUSTED THE INDUSTRY? *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN VUE. UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE KEY COULD BE PULLED OUT OF THE IGNITION AT ANYTIME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
THE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL JUST COME ON AT ANY GIVEN TIME. IT WORRIES ME THAT THEY MIGHT NOT DEPLOY WHEN I NEED IT OR THEY DEPLOY AS I'M DRIVING-A SERIOUS HAZARD. 09/09/2014 ONSTAR VEHICLE DIAGNOSTICS ADVISED ME ABOUT A DIAGNOSTIC ALERT REQUIRING IMMEDIATE ATTENTION AND TO CALL MY DEALERSHIP. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD NO RECALLS ON THIS VEHICLE AND THEY WOULD DO A DIAGNOSTICS TEST TO CHECK OUT PROBLEM BUT WOULD COST ME OVER $100.00. I THEN CALLED GM AND WAS TOLD PRETTY MUCH THE SAME BUT WAS GIVEN SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER AND I WOULD GET A CALL WITH IN 48 HOURS. I DID GET THE RETURN CALL AND SAME RESPONSE. I BELIEVE THEY SHOULD HAVE TESTED FOR FREE TO BE SURE THIS WILL NOT BECOME A RECALLED ITEM AFTER DRIVERS BECOME CRITICALLY HURT OR KILLER DUE TO BAD PARTS!!! LAW REQUIRES SEAT BELTS AND AIRBAGS FOR OUR SAFETY AND MANUFACTURER SHOULD BE INVESTIGATING ALL SAFETY EQUIPMENT. *TR
I HAVE TWO MAJOR COMPLAINTS WITH THE VEHICLE. THE KEY CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION WHILE IN THE "ON" POSITION AND IS HARD TO START. GM HAS CLAIMED THIS VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE IGNITION RECALL THE SECOND COMPLAINT, THE VEHICLE LEAKS FUEL FROM ABOVE THE TANK WHICH SEEMS TO BE TYPICAL TO SATURN VUES. *TR
HAVING TROUBLE WITH IGNITION. KEY IS VERY HARD TO TURN AND CAN COME OUT AFTER CAR IS STARTED AND WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS A REPLACEMENT IGNITION PUT IN BY THE DEALER AFTER THE ORIGINAL IGNITION STARTED DOING THE SAME THING A FEW YEARS BACK. *TR
THE IGNITION FAILED TO WORK. TURNING THE KEY TO THE START POSITION DID NOT TURN THE ENGINE ON. DID NOT START THE STARTER MOTOR. ALSO AFTER TURNING THE KEY TO THE START POSITION, THE KEY DID NOT RECOIL BACK TO THE ON POSITION AS IT DOES SO CUSTOMARILY. THE KEY JUST REMAINS IN THE START POSITION BY ITSELF. MY VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO ALEXANDER/GMC/CADILLAC AUTO CENTER IN OXNARD, CA. I WAS TOLD THAT I AM GOING TO BE CHARGED CLOSE TO $600 (PARTS & LABOR). ANOTHER ISSUE I HAVE IS THAT THE DRIVERS AIRBAG LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON. SEVERAL YEARS AGO, I TOOK IT TO THE SAME SHOP MENTIONED ABOVE, AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO FAULT CODE WHEN THEY SCANNED THE VEHICLE'S COMPUTER VIA OBD-II. HOWEVER, AND TO THIS DAY, THE AIRBAG LIGHT CONTINUED TO BE LIT, GIVING ME AN UNSETTLING FEELING. *TR
MORE THEN 5 TIMES THE SUV HAS NOT STARTED, AND WE HAD TO REPLACE THE IGNITION SWITCH BECAUSE THE KEY WOULD NOT EVEN TURN IN IT. I BELIEVE WE HAVE TANAKA AIRBAGS.
IGNITION KEY LOCKED IN PLACE AND WOULD NOT TURN ON OR UNLOCK STEERING WHEEL CAUSING VEHICLE TO BE IMMOBILE. THIS COULD CAUSE THE STEERING TO HAZARDIOUS IF THE STEERING LOCKED WHILE MOVING. OTHER GM VEHICLES, INCLUDING SATURNS HAVE HAD RECALLS ON THE IGNITION SWITCH. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN VUE. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED BUT FAILED TO RESPOND. THE VEHICLE LOST POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND LOSS OF ENGINE POWER ERROR MESSAGE DISPLAYED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOORS. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AFTER DISCONNECTING AND RECONNECTING THE BATTERY. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS A COMMUNICATION FAILURE, BUT THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHAT PART NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
I HAVE HAD MY SATURN VUE FOR JUST OVER 2 YEARS. LAST WINTER I NOTICED THAT SOMETIMES I HAVE A HARD TIME TURNING THE KEY IN THE IGNITION. IT HAS BEEN GOING ON NOW FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS OR SO. IT WAS SO BAD TODAY THAT IT TOOK ME A HALF HOUR JUST TO GET THE KEY TURNED SO THE CAR WOULD START! I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM AND FEEL LIKE THIS SHOULD BE FIXED FOR EVERYONE! THIS IS A COST WE CANNOT AFFORD. WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE THINKING THAT WE WERE GOING TO HAVE GOOD LUCK WITH IT AS EXPECTED WHEN YOU PURCHASE A VEHICLE. I HAVE THREE KIDS, AM IN SCHOOL FULL TIME RIGHT ALONG WITH THEM AND DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO TRY AND START MY CAR FOR A HALF HOUR. WE LIVE IN THE UPPER MIDWEST AND OUR WINTERS GET DOWNRIGHT BRUTAL, THERE IS NO WAY TO SIT THERE FOR A HALF HOUR WITHOUT HEAT. I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THIS PARTICULAR ITEM NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. NO, THERE MAY NOT BE ANY DEATHS YET, BUT THERE DARN WELL COULD BE WITH THAT KIND OF FAILURE. *TR
FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS NOW MY RADIO WILL CHANGE CHANNELS ON ITS ON. THE DIAL WILL DISPLAY CRAZY CHARACTERS AND I WILL HAVE TO PUT IT BACK ON THE ORIGINAL CHANNEL JUST TO HAVE IT GO BACK TO THE CHANNEL OF ITS ON CHOICE. FOR YEARS NOW I HAVE HAD WIND NOISE ON THE DRIVER SIDE AND THE PASSENGER BAG LIGHT HAS COME ON AT DIFFERENT TIMES AND I HAD TO STOP MY CAR SIT IN THE SEAT TO RESET IT. I INITIALLY THOUGHT IT WAS JUST MY VEHICLE BUT AFTER LOOKING HERE I SEE ITS NOT JUST ME. I HAVE HAD TO HAVE MY WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM TOTALLY REPLACED AND MY IGNITION WORKED ON AT THE DEALERSHIP ALREADY ONE TIME AND IT IS NOW ACTING UP AGAIN. MY HUSBAND CHOOSE THIS CAR FOR SAFETY REASONS AND GAS MILEAGE AND I HAVE LOVED IT FOR MILEAGE AND BEING ABLE TO PACK A LOT OF LUGGAGE. HE HATES TO TRAVEL IN IT DUE TO THE WIND NOISE. WE HAD THE DEALERSHIP CHECK IT OUT AND NOTHING COULD BE FOUND. I AM HOPING THAT A RECALL WILL HELP US GET SOMETHING DONE WITH THE WIND NOISE AND ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. THE KEY WILL FALL OUT OF IGNITION WHILE DRIVING, ALSO THE DOOR LOCKS WILL FLEAKER OFF AND ON AND THE READING LIGHTS DO NOT GO OFF., I AM AFRAID TO HAVE ANYONE IN MY CAR ESPECIALLY MY GRANDCHILDREN, I WILL BE DRIVING AND THE LOCKS WILL START ACTING CRAZY GOING UP AND DOWN CAUSING MY GRANDSON TO BE AFRAID, CAN I GET SOME INFORMATION ON WHY THIS IS HAPPENING, IT FIRST STARTED WITH THE KEYS NOT STAYING IN THE IGNITION, I THOUGHT THIS WAS ODD ESPECIALLY WHILE THE CAR WAS ON. 1) LIKE OTHERS, I ALSO HAVE HAD OCCASIONAL, BUT FRUSTRATING, PROBLEMS GETTING MY KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION. 2) I RETURNED MY SATURN TO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES FOR A LIGHT THAT KEEPS COMING ON WHICH WAS TREATED BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AS A SEATBELT ISSUE. STILL COMING ON (AND THEY REPLACED THE SEATBELT)! BUT I THINK THEY WERE WRONG AND THAT THE LIGHT COMING ON IS REALLY THE AIRBAG LIGHT. AGAIN, DOESN'T HAPPEN EVERYDAY, BUT ENOUGH THAT IF IT IS TRULY THE AIRBAG AND I'M IN AN ACCIDENT, I'M OUT OF LUCK. SOMETIMES IF I WAIT UNTIL THE BEEPING STOPS WHEN I TURN ON THE CAR, BEFORE I PUT ON MY SEATBELT, IT SEEMS LIKE IT DOESN'T GO ON AS MUCH. *JS
AFTER GOING TO WALMART RETURNED TO SATURN AND TRIED TO START IT, IGNITION WOULD NOT TURN OVER. HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE IGNITION ABOUT 2 YEARS ; KEY LOCKS INTO SAME, WILL NOT START, KEY FELL OUT ONCE WHILE DRIVING. HAD TO GET IT TOWED TO DEALER TO GET IGNITION REPLACED JUST TO GET CAR STARTED. SHOULD BE A RECALL ITEM. *JS
I WAS PULLING OUT OF A PARKING LOT (TURNING RIGHT) ONTO STREET. THE POWER STEERING FAILED CAUSING ME TO SWING WIDE INTO MIDDLE LANE INSTEAD OF NEAREST LANE TO CURB. CAR TRAVELING IN MIDDLE LANE HAD TO BRAKE AND SWERVE TO AVOID HITTING ME. THE POWER STEERING IS FAILING INTERMITTENTLY ON THIS CAR, ESPECIALLY IN LOW SPEED SITUATIONS. *TR
MY 2007 SATURN VUE HAS HAD NUMEROUS INCIDENTS WITH THE KEY COMING OUT OF THE IGNITION EVEN WHEN IT IS IN DRIVE. *TR
HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE KEY TO TURN IN THE IGNITION. CAN TAKE NUMEROUS TRIES AND SEVERAL MINUTES BEFORE THE KEY FINALLY TURNS. NOT SURE WHAT MAKES THE KEY TURN -- HAD IT WORK AFTER BUCKLING THE SEAT BELT, SHIFTING THE STEERING WHEEL, OR TAKING THE KEY OUT AND TRYING AGAIN. PROBLEM HAS BEEN WORSENING IN THE PAST FEW DAYS, BUT HAS OCCURRED ON AND OFF FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. *TR
WHILE DRIVING AT 50 MPH, THE AIRBAG LIGHT STARTED FLASHING OFTEN ON. WITHIN A FEW MILES THE HORN STARTED BLOWING INTERMITTENTLY. THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AND THE HORN STARTED BLOWING CONTINUOUSLY. IT REQUIRED DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY TO MAKE IT ALL STOP. THE AIRBAGS AND HORN HAD TO BE DISABLED IN ORDER TO DRIVE THE CAR. *TR

PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON- TOOK TO SHOP- THEY SAID THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH AIRBAG AND SEAT WARMER CONNECTIONS- AIRBAG LIGHT SOMETIMES GOES OFF WHEN SEAT WARMER IS ON... BUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE LIGHT COMES BACK ON. THE MECHANIC SAID IT WOULD COST BETWEEN 900-1200 TO FIX THIS- THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE COVERED.
OUR KEY STARTED STICKING IN THE IGNITION AND WE WOULD BE STRANDED UNTIL WE COULD FINALLY GET THE KEY TO TURN. ONCE THE KEY IS TURNED AND CAR IS RUNNING, KEY WILL FALL OUT OF THE IGNITION AND ONTO THE FLOOR WHILE DRIVING!! NOW THE IGNITION DOES NOT TURN ALL THE WAY OFF AND MUST BE SHUT OFF AND THE KEY REMOVED AT THE ACCESSORIES POSITION, WHICH LEAVES LIGHTS ON AND RADIO, AND DOORS BEEPING. IT IS EXTREMELY STRESSFUL TO HAVE THE KEY FALL OUT OF THE IGNITION WHILE DRIVING, BUT TO ALSO NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETELY SHUT OUR CAR OFF. *TR
THE IGNITION WILL LOCK UP AND YOU HAVE TO MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL BACK AND FORTH WHILE YOU ARE TURNING THE KEY TRYING TO GET TO START. WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD (USUALLY IN 4TH GEAR) THE GAS PEDDLE WILL STOP WORKING, YOU CAN PUT IT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND GET NOTHING. I USUALLY CAN PUSH THE CLUTCH IN AND MAKE IT WORK AGAIN.THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WILL COME ON WHEN NO ONE IS SITTING IN THE SEAT. *TR
THERE WAS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THE PASSENGER AIR BAG. WHEN A PASSENGER SITS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, THE PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT DOES NOT GO ON. IT WAS BROUGHT INTO THE DEALER ON 3 OR 4 TIMES AND THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER FIXED. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE PASSENGER WAS NOT HEAVY ENOUGH (125 POUNDS). FINALLY THIS AUTO WAS BROUGHT IN TO THE DEALER ON 5/28/14 AND THE PROBLEM WAS REPAIRED. THE TOTAL OUT OF POCKET COST TO ME WAS $751.00. I WAS UPSET WITH GENERAL MOTORS FOR NOT RESOLVING THIS PROBLEM UNDER WARRANTY AND DECIDED NEVER AGAIN TO PURCHASE A GENERAL MOTORS AUTO. THIS CAR WAS TRADED IN ON ANOTHER BRAND OF AUTO. *TR
TL * THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN VUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE WAS UNABLE TO START THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE IGNITION LOCK FAILED, AND REPAIRED THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000.
WHEN PUTTING THE KEY IN THE IGNITION, THE KEY IS GETTING STUCK AND WILL NOT TURN TO START THE CAR. I HAVE TO WIGGLE THE KEY MULTIPLE TIMES UNTIL FINALLY IT MAKES AN AUDIBLE CLICK AND I AM ABLE TO START THE CAR. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN EVERY TIME I ATTEMPT TO START THE CAR BUT THREE QUARTERS OF THE TIME I DEAL WITH THIS PROBLEM. SOME TIMES IT ONLY TAKES A FEW TURNS, OTHER TIMES I REPEATEDLY REMOVE THE KEY AND PLACE IT BACK IN THE IGNITION UNTIL IT IS ABLE TO ROTATE AND START THE CAR. *JS

THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 14V047000 (AIR BAGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 138,522.

MY DRIVER SIDE WINDOW DOESN'T GO DOWN UNLESS I SLAM THE DOOR. THE AIR BAG LIGHT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE GOES ON WHEN NO ONE IS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. SOMETIMES THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT WILL STAY ON. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GOES ON AND OFF AT STRANGE TIMES. THE OIL CHANGE LIGHT KEEPS GOING ON WHEN THE OIL HAS JUST BEEN CHANGED. *TR
I OWN A 2007 SATURN VUE HYBRID, MY KEY CONSTANTLY GETS STUCK IN THE IGNITION AND WILL NOT TURN. AT TIMES IT HAS TAKEN ME A FULL HOUR TO GET THE KEY TO TURN AFTER COUNTLESS JIGGLING OF THE KEY AND TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL OR PRESSING THE BRAKE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. MECHANIC ADVISED I NEEDED A NEW BATTERY. PURCHASED A NEW BATTERY AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON. MY HYBRID SYSTEM IS NOT KICKING IN. I RESEARCHED ONLINE AND READ RECALLS ON THIS CAR FOR THIS YEAR WITH THIS PROBLEM, HOWEVER MY VIN NUMBER IS NOT BEING RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF THE VEHICLES DEFECTED. PLEASE HELP ME GET THIS FIXED. I CAN ALSO TAKE THE KEY OUT WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING. GM WILL NOT PAY FOR IT BECAUSE IT IS NOT IN THE RECALL AND MY MILEAGE IS OVER 100K.
