THE BREAK JUST SOPPED WORKING WHEN I WAS IN THE HIGH WAY SO THAT IS WHY AM MAKING THE COMMENT
MY COUSIN PURCHASED A USED 1995 CAMRY LAST YEAR AND WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD SHE NOTICED THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAS SMOKING SO SHE RACED TO PULL OVER ONE BLOCK FURTHER FROM WHERE IT STARTED & AT THE STOPPING POINT AND SHUTTING THE ENGINE DOWN IT GULFED IN FLAMES. 2 KIDS IN BACK SEAT SHE DOES EVERY EFFORT TO SAVE THEM. HOWEVER THE NOTORIOUS DOOR HANDLES INSIDE AND OUT WERE BROKEN SHE HAD TO PRAY TO GET POWER BACK ON ROLL THE WINDOW DOWN AND GRAB THE EXTERIOR BROKEN HANDLE TO EXIT. DURING THIS PROCESS SHE IS ON FIRE BUT EXITS TO SAVE THE CHILDREN UNHARMED. MY COUSIN IS SEVERELY BURNED ON HER ONE ARM BODY AND LEGS. BEYOND REPAIR OF SATISFACTION BUT SHE DEALS WITH THE SUFFER. THE DEALER IS REFUSING COMPENSATION.
CAR BOTTOM OUT TURNING IN TO ROADS & DRIVEWAYS & LOW PLACES IN ROAD WAYS SHOCK DON,T LEAK.
MY VEHICLE IS A CAMRY STATION WAGON. ON THE ABOVE DATE, I WAS BACKING MY CAR IN MY DRIVEWAY & THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR.. USING MY FLOOR JACK, I CLIMBED UNDER IT & DISCOVERED THAT THE STEEL BRAKE LINES HAD RUPTURED DUE TO RUST IN 2 LOCATIONS- ONE BENEATH A BRACKET NEAR THE FIREWALL, AND ANOTHER AT THE REAR OF THE WAGON NEAR WHERE THE VEHICLE HEIGHT "SOLENOID" IS LOCATED. SUBSEQUENTLY, I DISCOVERED AT LEAST 3 MORE CAMRYS OF 1995 OR 1995 VINTAGE(INCLUDING ONE WAGON) FOR SALE ON WASHINGTON D.C. CRAIGSLIST WITH RUSTED OUT BRAKE LINES. MY SENSE IS THAT THEE CARS ARE SO OLD BUY YET SO RELIABLE THAT PEOPLLE ARE STILL DRIVING THEM & SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET KILLED IN ONE, UNLESS SOMEONE INITIATES AN INVESTIGATION. I STILL AVE THE VEHICLE IN MY YARD IN FAIRFAX STATION VA & IF AN INVESTIGATOR WANTS TO INSPECT IT, I CAN JACK IT UP FOR THEM.. I CAN BE REACHED AT [XXX]. MY CAR IS HARD TO STEER WHEN I GO AROUND CURVES ON THE STREET OF THE MOUNTAINS WHERE I LIVE. IT FEELS AS IF I COULD DRIVE RIGHT OFF OF THE MOUNTAIN IF I DON'T QUICKLY CORRECT THE STEERING. IT IS AS THOUGH IT IS SLIPPING AND ACCELERATING AS IF I AM LOSING CONTROL OF THE CAR. IT IS A FRIGHTENING FEELING AS IF IT IS PULLING AGAINST WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO, SUCH AS TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL TO MAKE IT AROUND CURVES SAFELY.
FIRST AND FOREMOST VEHICLE HAS 345,000 MILES AND AM THE THIRD OWNER AND BROUGHT IT FROM LOS ANGELES. I WOULD LIKE TO INCLUDE AN IMAGE OF A RECEIPT I HAVE FROM MY FATHER FOR $700 IN COSTS FOR BREAKS AND TIRES BEFORE HE NINE IN MARCH 2015 TO CHICAGO FOR ITS FIRST WINTER IN 2015. SINCE THAT TIME UPON ITS FIRST FREEZE WHERE THE ENGINE FROZEN DUE TO THE CLIMATE CHANGE THE ENGIN DOES NOT RESPOND UPON ACCELERATION FROM A STOP MOST OFTENTIMES IN TRAFFIC HAD BEGAN TO INCUR IT COST QUITE A BIT OF MONEY TO HAVE A CAR IN CHICAGO SO IT IS AN INTERVENING VERY OFTEN MEANING I HAVE TO START IT WITH AMY PACK AND CHARGER. .ALSO THERE IS A DISCREPANCY I HAVE UNCOVERED REGARDING THE RECALL THAT THE FIRST OWNER BROUGHT IN FOR A REPLACEMENT ENGINE APPROXIMATELY BETWEEN 200 AND 250,000 MILES. I AM NOT RECOVERED ANY INFORMATION REGARDING SUCH A RECALL NORTH ANY SERVICE TICKETS AND REPORTS THAT REFLECT AN ENGINE REPLACEMENT. HOWEVER I DIDN'T REPLACE THE RADIATOR A FEW MONTHS AGO DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN CAPPED OR SERVICED WITHIN 3000 MILES. I AM NOT OWN A VEHICLE SINCE 2000. I HAD PURCHASED A NEW VOLKSWAGENCABRIO AND TOTALED IT BEFORE THAT I USED TO OWN A 95 SR5 AND DRIVE A LOT MORE CONSCIOUSLY NOW IN MY MID 40S THAN MY MANY YEARS WELL DRIVING THE STREETS OF LOS ANGELES AND I AM GRATEFUL FOR WEBSITES LIKE YOURS ARE RESPONSIVE TO ME ACCOUNTABILITY OF THE VEHICLES PERFORMANCE OR IS LIFETIME.
TRY TO START CAR AND WHEN TURN THE KEY I GET NO START NO CRANK,I ALSO HAVE NO POWER TO ACCESSORIES COMING OFF OF FUSE BLOCK UNDER THE DASH ON DRIVERS SIDE. I HAVE CHECKED BATTERY ITS FINE. HEADLIGHTS WORK,AND DOME LIGHT WORKS ALONG WITH CHIME FROM HAVING KEY IN IGNITION.I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE FUSESIN THE ENTIRE CAR, AND THEY ARE FINE. I CHANGED THE IGNITION SWITCH,AND STILL NO START NO POWER TO ACCESSORIES. I TESTED STARTER AND ITS FINE. *TR
CAR HAS BEEN SWERVING VIOLENTLY AROUND CURVED ROADS. THE ALIGNMENT WAS THROWN OUT OF SPECIFICATION BY BROKEN COIL SPRINGS. ALL OTHER COMPONENTS SUCH AS BALL JOINTS TIE RODS WHEEL BEARINGS... WERE FOUND TO BE WITHIN SPEC. COIL SPRINGS WERE BOTH FOUND BROKEN, AND UNEVENLY. ONE COIL WAS MISSING MORE COILS THAN THE OTHER. IF THE COILS HAD BROKEN IN A DIFFERENT PLACE OR THERE HAD BEEN TRAFFIC A FATAL COLLISION COULD HAVE OCCURRED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO HER VEHICLE WHILE PARKED. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED OR DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,000.
I WAS DRIVING TO WORK ONE DAY AND MY 1995 TOYOTA CAMRY STARTED ACCELERATING ON ITS OWN ON THE FREEWAY, AT FIRST I THOUGHT I WAS IMAGINING IT. I HIT THE BRAKES AND IT WOULD NOT SLOW DOWN. THE CAR KEPT ACCELERATING FASTER AND FASTER ON IT'S OWN TILL IT WENT UP TO 90 MPH. I PULLED ON MY EMERGENCY BRAKES, THAT SLOWED THE CAR DOWN A BIT BUT NOT BY VERY MUCH. IT MOSTLY JUST MADE A CEMENT GRINDING SOUND. IT WAS REALLY SCARY I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A DEATH MACHINE. LUCKILY THERE WEREN'T VERY MANY PEOPLE ON THE FREEWAY THAT DAY, SO I JUST SWERVED OUT OF THE WAY OF THE OTHER CARS. I FINALLY GOT IT TO SLOW DOWN ENOUGH WITH THE EMERGENCY BREAK AND I IMMEDIATELY TURNED MY CAR OFF AND HAD IT TOWED TO A MECHANIC WHO REPAIRED THE ISSUE. I WAS REALLY LUCKY, I THINK IF THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE ON THE FREEWAY THAT DAY, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A VERY DIFFERENT OUTCOME. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY 1995 TOYOTA CAMRY ON HIGHWAY, CLEAR DAY AND ROAD CONDITIONS AT 73 MPH, AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE SPEED JUMPED TO 100 MPH WITHOUT ANY RIGHT PEDAL PUSH. I TOOK OFF MY LEG FROM THE RIGHT PEDAL EVEN THEN IT WAS CONTINUING TO GO AT 100 MPH, AND LUCKILY NO TRAFFIC WAS THERE AROUND ME, SO I TRIED TO APPLY BRAKES AND WASN'T ABLE TO GET THE SPEED DOWN, THEN PUT DOWN THE VEHICLE INTO PARKING AND SHUT DOWN MY ENGINE. WITH THIS THE VEHICLE STOPPED. I STARTED IT AGAIN AND DROVE ANOTHER 100 MILES BEFORE TAKING IT TO DEALER AND DID NOT SEE THIS PROBLEM . THE TOYOTA DEALER COULDN'T DIAGNOSE ANYTHING WRONG IN THE CAR AND SUGGESTED TO CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS BUT NOT SURE IF THIS IS GOING TO FIX THE PROBLEM OR NOT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH WHEN HE NOTICED THAT SMOKE WAS EMITTING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. HE WAS ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE BY HIMSELF ALTHOUGH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT DID RESPOND. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS UNKNOWN. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED OR REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 243,447.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE ABNORMALLY ACCELERATED TO 30 MPH AND THERE WAS AN UNUSUAL INCREASE IN ENGINE RPMS UP TO 5,000. WHEN THE FAILURE WOULD OCCUR, THE CONTACT WOULD SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL AND APPLY THE BRAKES TO STOP THE UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE CRUISE LINK ASSEMBLY AND THROTTLE WAS BINDING AND BECOMING STUCK. THE DEALER ADVISED REPLACING BOTH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 185,904 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 185,950.
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
PROBLEM: MY 1995 CAMRY SUDDENLY ACCELERATED. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO INCREASE SPEED FROM 32 TO 35 MPH IN THE THIRD LANE DURING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC, MY VEHICLE ACCELERATED AS IF I HAD FLOORED THE GAS PEDAL (THE PEDAL WAS MINIMALLY DEPRESSED.) I IMMEDIATELY STEPPED ON THE BRAKES, THEN TURNED OFF THE ENGINE. I PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND GLIDED TO A STOP. AFTER WAITING 2 MINUTES I RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. WITHOUT TOUCHING THE GAS PEDAL THE ENGINE REVED UP PAST 7,000 RPM. I TURNED OFF THE CAR IMMEDIATLY. I TRIED PUSHING THE PEDAL UP AFTER WAITING 3 MINUTES. ONCE AGAIN THE VEHICLE RACED IN NEUTRAL TO 7,000 RPM. I OPENED THE HOOD AND (USING A PAIR OF PLIERS) ROTATED THE THROTTLE ASSEMBLY. WHILE ROTATING THE ASSEMBLY I FELT THE ASSEMBLY HIT AND GO THROUGH SOME KIND OF BARRIER. I RESTARTED MY VEHICLE. THIS TIME IT STARTED NORMALLY. I TOOK THE CAR TO A REPAIR TECH WHO SAID HE THINKS THE SPARK PLUG WIRE CAUGHT ON THE ASSEMBLY. HE WIRE TIED THE SPARK PLUG WIRES TO A SMALL RUBBER HOSE TO SECURE IT. THERE IS ENOUGH PLAY IN WHERE THE CABLES ARE ROUTED (EVEN THOUGH THE WIRES ARE TIGHT) FOR THE SPARK PLUG WIRES TO TOUCH THE ASSEMBLY WHILE DRIVING. THE TECH SAID THAT THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE PROBLEM AND TO CALL HIM IF I HAD ANY MORE PROBLEMS. HE ALSO REMINDED TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE (AGAIN) IF I HAD ANY FURTHER ACCELERATION PROBLEMS. ANY OTHER CAUSES? I ALMOST HIT THE VEHICLE IN IN FRONT OF ME. HAD I NOT TURNED OF THE ENGINE THE BRAKES (EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NEW) WOULD NOT HAVE STOPPED THE ACCELERATION. I REACTED QUICKLY. FROM SUDDEN ACCELERATION TO ENGINE OFF WERE LESS THAN 3 SECONDS AND THE ENGINE WAS REALLY RACING. THE DEPRESSION I PLACED UPON THE PEDAL SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 10 SECONDS TO BRING ME TO 35 FROM 32. INSTEAD, IN LESS THAN 3 SECONDS I WAS GOING 40 AND ACCELERATING. THE BRAKES ALONE COULD NOT HAVE STOPPED THE ACCELERATION OF THE CAR. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING UPHILL, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ACCELERATE SUDDENLY. THE CONTACT PRESSED BOTH FEET ON THE BRAKE PEDAL BUT THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. WHEN THE VEHICLE REACHED THE TOP OF THE HILL, THE ENGINE FROZE. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE MOTOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 140,000.
I WAS COMING HOME FROM WORK WHEN MY CAR STARTED ACCELERATING FASTER. I TRIED TO STOP BUT IT JUST KEPT GOING. I THREW IT INTO NEUTRAL AND THEN PARK. I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO A TO GET IT TO STOP. *TR

UNASSISTED AND UNSAFE ACCELERATION ON FOUR OCCASIONS WITH MY 1995 TOYOTA CAMRY AND A COMPLETE ENGINE STALL-OUT WHILE DOING 15 MPH WITH MY 2009 TOYOTA CAMRY. *TR

WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS AND APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, UNEXPECTEDLY, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BEGAN TO STICK. THE VEHICLES SPEED INCREASED TO 90 MPH. IN AN ATTEMPT TO ENGAGE THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE PARKING BRAKE, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO SLOW DOWN. THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP ONLY AFTER THE GEAR SHIFT WAS FORCED INTO PARK WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS MOVING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO HER RESIDENCE WITH EXTREME CAUTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR INSPECTION. THE CONTACT HAS CONCERNS OF THE SIGNIFICANT SAFETY HAZARD. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE UNKNOWN.
1995 TOYOTA CAMRY. CONSUMER STATES SUDDEN ACCELERATION WAS THE CAUSE OF AN ACCIDENT. *TGW THE CONSUMERS WIFE WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE WHEN IT SUDDENLY ACCELERATED AND CRASHED INTO A TREE AND A WALL. THE CONSUMER'S WIFE WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED. *JB
AUTOMATIC GEAR SHIFT DOES NOT ALWAYS RESPOND TO GEAR SHIFT. FOR EXAMPLE SOMETIMES WHEN IT IS PLACED IN THE PARK POSITION, ON OCCASION IT HAS SLIPPED BACK INTO NEUTRAL COMMAND. THUS ON OCCASION IT HAS BEEN PLACED IN PARK COMMAND PARKED WIT THE KEY TAKEN OUT OF THE IGNITION AND IT HAS ROLLED OR MOVED CONSIDERABLY OUT OF ITS PARKED PLACED. THIS CAN CAUSE POTENTIAL DAMAGE TO THE CAR AND OTHER VEHICLES. *TR

I HAD THE RADIATOR GO OUT ,THE TIMING BELT REPLACED 2 TIMES. ALL STRUTS FAILED, AND TRANSMISSION WENT OUT TOO. I SOLD THE CAR , PUT TO MUCH MONEY INTO IT, BUT VEHICLE HAD OVER 200,000 MILES ON IT WHEN THAT HAPPENED. *AK
I HAVE A 1995 TOYOTA CAMRY AND THE GAS FILLER NECK IS RUSTED OUT AND UPON MY INVESTIGATIONS I AM TOLD THIS IS PRETTY COMMON. SHOULDN'T THIS LAST LONGER, AT LEAST THE DURATION OF THE NORMAL LIFE OF THIS VEHICLE AND IS THERE ANY RECOURSE THAT I CAN TAKE TO HAVE THIS REPLACED AT NO COST TO ME. *JB
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE TRAVELING 55 MPH THERE WAS A LOUD SNAPPING NOISE HEARD FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. UPON INSPECTION THE REAR LEFT SEAT BELT RETRACTOR ASSEMBLY HAD FAILED TO KEEP TENSION WHILE IN USE. THE SERVICE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE BOTH NOTIFIED. UPDATED 9/20/2006 - THE REAR SEAT BELT FAILED/SNAPPED WHILE AN OCCUPANT WAS STRAPPED IN IT. *NM

WHEN I WENT TO HAVE MY CAR INSPECTED, THE SERVICE TECH SAID THAT IT WOULDN'T PASS AND ASKED IF I HAD A LOCAL MECHANIC THAT I WANTED TO TAKE IT TO. I TOOK IT TOO MEINEKE AND HE SAID THAT THE PIPE GOING INTO MY CONVERTER WENT AND I HAD TO REPLACE THE PIPE AND CONVERTER. HE SAID THAT IT WAS RELATIVELY COMMON FOR MY CAR. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT COME STOP UNTIL HE WAS FORCED TO SHIFT GEARS INTO THE PARK POSITION. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY APPROXIMATELY EVERY FOUR TO SIX WEEKS. HE STATED THAT THE ENGINE ACTED AS IF IT WAS TRYING TO OVERRIDE THE BRAKING SYSTEM. THE DEALER STATED THAT IT WAS AN IDLING PROBLEM AND THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. HE ALSO STATED THAT IN 2004 HE EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ACCELERATION WHILE DRIVING IN REVERSE AND THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY CRASHED INTO THE RESTAURANT. HE DIDN'T SUFFER ANY INJURIES. THE PORTSMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT NUMBER IS 04-020448. THE FAILURE MILEAGE IN 2004 WAS 20,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 161,800. WHILE DRIVING ON THE 190-N APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES FROM MY HOME, MY HOOD DID POP OPEN AND WAS EJECTED FROM MY VEHICLE TRAVELING ABOUT 100 FEET STRIKING ANOTHER VEHICLE TRAVELING IN THE SAME DIRECTION CAUSING DAMAGE TO SAME. MY MECHANIC DID STATE THAT THE LATCH WAS EXTENSIVELY COVERED IN RUST. I AM CURRENTLY WAITING FOR MY INSURANCE COMPANY TO LOOK AT THE DAMAGE AND INVESTIGATE AS TO THE REASON MY LATCH DID NOT WORK RELEASING MY HOOD. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED MANY FATALITIES HAD IT BEEN A BUSY WEEK DAY. I WAS DRIVING WITH MY 8 YEAR OLD SON, THANK GOD I KEPT A CLEAR HEAD AND WAS ABLE TO KEEP CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE PULLING IT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE THAT WAS HIT DID STOP AVOIDING THE HOOD FROM STRIKING HIS WINDSHIELD BY INCHES DEFINITELY SAVING HIS LIFE. I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED.
