TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 TOYOTA CAMRY. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE STRUCK THE FRONT OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE LEFT SHOULDER AND HEAD THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL TOW LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.

SHE (WOMAN-WORKER)TOLD ME AT DMV OFFICE REDWOOD CITY,CA 94063 APPOINTMENT # B0039, APPROX WINDOW 9 SERVICE TIME2:40PM; THAT DMV WILL NOT CHANGE NOR UPDATE NOR TO CORRECT RECORDS - BUT THE WRONGFUL ENTRY INTO DMV RECORDS MAKES PROPERTY OWNER TO SUFFER WITH THE ID CASES THROUGH LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND OTHER RE DEPARTMENTS OF USA. IT AFFECTS MY PERSONAL HOLDINGS VALUE AND MY OWN FINANCIAL STABILITY AND PERSONAL SAFETY - RECALLS FOR 2000 ARE DIFFERENT TO RECALLS OF 2001-DUE TO MAJOR UPDATES AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SUBJECT CAR WITH THE APPROVAL OF JUDICIAL COURT SYSTEM IN 2001 AND LATER. MY AIR BAG LIGHT HAS BEEN ON, ON MY DASH FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS NOW. I SEE NO RECALLS, BUT RESEARCHED IT. LOOKS LIKE MY AIRBAGS AREN'T WORKING PROPERLY.
THE SEAT BELTS DON'T BUCKLE IN THE LATCH. ALL FIVE BUCKLE NOT WORKING.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 TOYOTA CAMRY SOLARA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A STEEL POLE. THE VEHICLE FLIPPED OVER AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT KICKED THE DOOR OPEN AND CRAWLED OUT OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A LOT OF INJURIES AND WAS TRANSPORTED VIA AMBULANCE TO THE HOSPITAL. THE POLICE CONTACTED THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND FILED A REPORT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AWAY BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000. UPDATED 04/06/16*LJ *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 TOYOTA CAMRY SOLARA. WHILE AT A COMPLETE STOP, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED FORCEFULLY INTO THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUFFERED FROM STRAINED CHEST MUSCLES AND CRACKED RIBS, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 178,000.
A WOMAN PULLED OUT OF A SIDE ROAD AND WAS ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF ME AND I HAD NO WHERE TO GO SO I HIT HER IN BACK OF HER TRUCK. I HAD NO WHERE TO GO. SHE PULLED OUT FAST AND THEN SLOWED DOWN. WHEN I HIT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT GO OFF AND I WAS WONDERING WHY. *TR
MY CAR WAS STRUCK ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, BY A DRIVER THAT WENT INTO OUR LANE, RUNNING MY CAR OFF THE ROAD, WHICH CAUSED MY VEHICLE TO GO UP OVER CURB AND HEAD ON INTO A BRICK WALL. THE AIRBAG NEVER DEPLOYED FROM THE IMPACT OF BEING HIT AND CRASHING STRAIGHT INTO A BRICK WALL. I WAS INSTRUCTED THAT I NEED TO REPORT THIS AND FIND OUT IF THE AIRBAG IS FAULTY. MY CAR IS REPORTED TOTALED BY INSURANCE COMPANY. I HAVE PICTURES FROM THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT TO SHOW HOW THE CAR WENT INTO THE BRICK WALL AND NO AIRBAGS WERE DEPLOYED. *TR
JUST WITHIN THE LAST MONTH, I HAVE HAD DIFFICULTY GETTING THE DRIVER SEAT BELT TO CLASP. IT TAKE A FEW TRIES, BUT FINALLY DOES. BUT, IT DOE NOT SEEM SECURE AND I AM AFRAID THAT IT MAY BECOME UNCLAPSED WHILE DRIVING. IN THE PAST IT ALWAYS WORKED FINE AND THE CLASP SEEMED MUCH MORE SECURE. I JUST STARTED THE ENGINE AND READY TO GO HOME WHEN I TRIED MY SEAT BELT, IT WILL NOT LATCH. AFTER SO MANY TRIES IT FINALLY WORK AFTER HAVING TO DEPRESS THE RED BUTTON PART OF THE SEAT BELT LATCH ALL THE WAY DOWN. IT HAPPENED AGAIN YESTERDAY 10/31/2014. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE RETRACTOR WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 56,000.

THE DRIVER SUSTAINED A CONCUSSION DUE TO HIS HEAD STRIKING THE WINDSHIELD. IN ADDITION, HE SUSTAINED BRUISES AND CUTS TO THE HEAD FROM THE BROKEN GLASS. THE POLICE REPORTED TO THE SCENE BUT A REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.
THE SEAT BELT STAYS AT FAR EXTENSION AND WILL NOT RETRACT, SO IT WILL NOT FUNCTION. I WENT TO MY LOCAL REPAIR COMPANY AND THEY SAID IT COULD NOT BE FIXED AND MUST BE REPLACED. I FIRST NOTIFIED TOYOTA OF THIS ON MAY 21, 2012 BY SPEAKING WITH THE "CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE CENTER". [XXX] SAID SOMEONE WOULD CONTACT ME WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY. 2 BUSINESS DAYS LATER LATE PM I RECEIVED A CALL FROM [XXX] WHO TOLD ME TO GO TO A TOYOTA DEALER TO GET IT CHECKED OUT & GET AN ESTIMATE FOR REPLACEMENT. I ASKED IF IT COULD BE REPLACED FOR FREE, SINCE IT IS A SAFETY ITEM THAT SHOULD NOT MALFUNCTION. SHE SAID GET THE ESTIMATE FIRST AND THEN CALL HER. I WENT THE FOLLOWING DAY (5/22) AND RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE. ON THE MORNING OF MAY 22 I CALLED [XXX] NUMBER & LEFT A MESSAGE. ON THE AFTERNOON OF 5/22 I CALLED AGAIN. SHE AGAIN WAS NOT THERE, SO I HELD ON FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO HELP ME. [XXX] SAID [XXX] WAS NOT AVAILABLE. I TOLD HER I AM FORCED TO DRIVE WITHOUT A SEATBELT, AND ASKED IF SHE OR SOMEONE ELSE COULD HELP ME. SHE SAID I CAN ONLY SPEAK WITH MY "CASE MANAGER" [XXX]. I INSISTED ON SPEAKING WITH HER MANAGER. SHE TOLD ME THE MANAGER WENT HOME. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH ANOTHER MANAGER. SHE SAID I COULD ONLY SPEAK WITH [XXX] WHO WOULD ABSOLUTELY CALL ME BACK WITH 24 HOURS. 24 HOURS LATER [XXX] HAD NOT CALLED. I CALLED HER AND SHE DID NOT ANSWER, BUT I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE ALSO IN HER DEPARTMENT WHO AGAIN SAID NEITHER HE ("[XXX]")NOR ANYONE ELSE COULD HELP ME THAT DAY. HE SAID A MANAGER WOULD CALL ME BACK WITHIN 24 HOURS. I TOLD HIM I AM DRIVING AROUND FOR DAYS WITHOUT A SEATBELT WAITING FOR THEM, AND INSISTED ON SPEAKING WITH HIS MANAGER'S MANAGER. THE LATCH ON MY TOYOTA CAMRY LE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT SEAT BELT WILL NOT LATCH. YOU MUST HOLD DEPRESSED THE CENTER BUTTON OF THE BUCKLE AS YOU INSERT THE LATCH FOR IT TO OPERATE. I HAVE JUST GOTTEN THIS CAR AND DO NOT KNOW HOW LONG THE HAS BEEN DEFECTIVE. *TR
DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT BUCKLE NOT WORKING. BELT CAN NOT GO INTO THE BUCKLE UNLESS YOU HOLD DOWN THE RED BUTTON RELEASE BUCKLE THEN INSERT THE BELT WITH FORCE. IT DOES RELEASE THE BELT. *LN
UPON IMPACT INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE, WHICH WAS AT A FULL STOP, THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY CAUSING INJURIES TO MY WIFE, WHO WAS SEATED IN THE PASSENGER SEAT.
