THE BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS WERE DESIGNED TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. THIS ALMOST RESULTED IN TWO ACCIDENTS DUE TO SUDDEN ACCELERATION. THE DEALERSHIP SERVICED THE VEHICLE ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS, BUT WAS UNABLE TO CHANGE THE POSITION OF THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAUSE THAT WAS HOW IT WAS BUILT. A FACTORY REPRESENTATIVE WAS SCHEDULED TO COME AND INSPECT THE PEDALS. *AK THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD GO DOWN LOWER THAN THE GAS PEDAL WHEN THE CONSUMERS FOOT WAS SLIGHTLY OFF THE BRAKE, IT WOULD HIT THE GAS PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE WOULD ACCELERATE. THE BRAKE PROBLEM REMAINED THE SAME AFTER REPAIR ATTEMPTS. *SC *JB
THE ODOMETER READ 3% MORE THAN THE CONSUMER HAD ACTUALLY DRIVING. THIS CAUSED DISCREPANCIES IN SPEED CONTROL, WARRANTY ISSUES AND CAUSED AN OVERAGE OF 1440 MILE IN THE CONSUMERS 48000 MILE LEASE. THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD, BY A REPRESENTATIVE, THAT A 10% ERROR VARIANCE WAS ACCEPTABLE FOR THE ODOMETER READINGS. *AK *NM
I OWN A 2004 TOYOTA SOLARA AND HAVE SEVERE ACCELERATOR ISSUES. THE ACCELERATION HESITATES AT VARIOUS TIMES. SOMETIMES IT IS FROM A COMPLETE STOP, OTHER TIMES IT IS IN LOW GEAR. THIS HAS BECOME A HAZARD IN DRIVING AMONGST TRAFFIC. THE CAR WILL NOT ACCELERATE PROPERLY AT A NORMAL SPEED; AS I SAID, IT HESITATES, MAKING IT VERY UNSAFE WHEN PULLING OUT ONTO A ROAD, OR STARTING FROM A STOP. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS TIMES THAT I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE REAR ENDED! THE DEALERSHIP MECHANICS CANNOT FIX THIS PROBLEM. TOYOTA IS STATING THAT IT IS FUNCTIONING AS IT HAS BEEN DESIGNED, WITHOUT ADMITTING THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE..BUT THEN STATE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO COME UP WITH A RESOLUTION. I HAVE HAD MY VEHICLE IN THE SHOP ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS SINCE PURCHASE IN APRIL. EACH TIME THEY TRY DIFFERENT THINGS...I.E., RESETTING THE COMPUTER, RUNNING TESTS, ETC. *JB
SEVERE HESITATION WHEN DEPRESSING THROTTLE TO FULL-THROTTLE. EX: WHEN PULLING INTO TRAFFIC OR WHEN ATTEMPTING TO OVER TAKE A VEHICLE ENGINE APPEARS TO REMAIN AT IDLE WHEN GAS PEDAL IS FULLY DEPRESSED TO THE FLOOR. NO DOWN SHIFTING OCCURS ALONG WITH NO ENGINE RPM INCREASE. AFTER 2-4 SECONDS ENGINE THEN RESPONDS. IF THROTTLE IS GRADUALLY DEPRESSED TO FULL-THROTTLE THERE IS NO SYMPTOMS, ENGINE DOES RESPOND PROPERLY. I BELIEVE IT MAY BE A PROBLEM IN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR AND TRANSMISSION TCM. *JB
WHILE ACCELERATING FROM LOW SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AND CAUSED A COLLISION. *AK *JB
FOLLOWING ARE THE DESCRIPTIONS OF TWO SIMILAR COMPLAINTS INVOLVING THE SAME VEHICLE: 1. VEHICLE, 2004 TOYOTA CAMRY V-6, ACCELERATED UNEXPECTEDLY WHILE BEING DRIVEN INTO A HEAD-IN PARKING SPACE. VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND TO BRAKING, OVERSHOT PARKING SPACE, HIT AND PUNCHED HOLE IN BUILDING WALL APPROXIMATELY 6 FEET AHEAD OF PARKING SPACE. OVER $1,000 DOLLARS DAMAGE TO CAR AND UNKNOWN AMOUNT TO BUILDING. 2. ABOUT TWO YEARS LATER, VEHICLE ACCELERATED WHILE COASTING SLOWLY TO STOP AT A STOP LIGHT. DID NOT RESPOND TO BRAKING, REAR-ENDED STOPPED VEHICLE IN FRONT. SIMILAR FRONT END DAMAGE TO THE TOYOTA AND SOME DAMAGE TO FORWARD VEHICLE. *TR
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET OF MY SUBDIVISION AT ABOUT 20 MILES PER HOUR AND MY CAR SURGED FORWARD ON ITS OWN ON TWO OCCASIONS. AGAIN WHEN I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT WITH MY BRAKE ON, IT SURGED FORWARD AGAIN AND THEN DID IT AGAIN WHILE I HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE. I BARELY GOT IT STOPPED IN TIME TO KEEP IT FROM REAR ENDING AN 18 WHEELER CAB IN FRONT OF ME.*AK
TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT GOES OFF PERIODICALLY AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP TO RESET THE SYSTEM WHICH DID NOT WORK THREE TIMES. RESET PROCEDURES ARE COMPLICATED, TIME CONSUMING AND DO NOT WORK. I HAVE CHECKED TIRE PRESSURE FOR SAFETY AND ITS CHECK OUT OK. *JB
WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED. DRIVER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND DROVE IT TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE DRIVER INFORMED THE MECHANIC THAT THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED SIX TIMES. *AK THE DEALER HAS PUT 400 MILES ON THE VEHICLE TRYING TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM BUT HAS BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL. *NM
TRANSMISSION "SHUDDERS" WHEN UPSHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR AT RPM NEAR 3,000.*AK
WHEN DRIVING AT ANY SPEED CONSUMER NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE PULLED TOWARDS THE LEFT. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR INSPECTION. HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK
PURCHASED A 2004 TOYOTA SOLARA. EVER SINCE THE DAY I PICKED IT UP THE CAR HAS DRIFTED TO THE LEFT. NOW WITH 9000 MILE ON IT ,IT HAS STARTED TO PULL RIGHT ONCE IN A WHILE. THE DEALER HAS RE-ALINED THE FRONT END 5 TIMES AND I HAVE ALSO HAD A PRIVATE SHOP DO IT ONCE . THE DEALER HAS COMPLETED THE WORK WHICH TOYOTA SENT OUT ON A BULLETIN HOWEVER IT STILL DRIFTS. TOYOTA SENT AN ENGINEER UP FROM CHICAGO TO DRIVE MY CAR, HE TOLD ME THAT ALL TOYOTA'S ARE DESIGNED TO DRIFT LEFT DUE TO ROAD CROWN. LOOKING AT ALL THE SAME COMPLAINTS ,I FEEL HE WAS JUST SINGING A STORY. TODAY I VISITED THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AND DROVE TWO NEW SOLARAS. THEY BOTH DRIFTED LEFT. I DRIVE THIS CAR FOR MY JOB--30,000 MILES A YEAR IT IS TOTALLY EXHAUSTING TO DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY. VERY POSSIBLY DANGEROUS.
2004 TOYOTA CAMRY EXPERIENCED SUDDEN BRAKE FAILURE.*MR THE CONSUMER WAS UNALE TO SLOW THE VEHICLE DOWN THE BRAKE FAILURE RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT WHICH INVOLVED 4 VEHICLES. *JB
I HAVE A 2004 TOYOTA CAMERY PURCHASED IN APRIL/04. LIKE MANY OTHERS, MY CAR DRIFTS TO THE LEFT INTO OTHER LANES. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AS THIS COULD RESULT IN ACCIDENTS AND INJURIES. THE CAR WILL NOT DRIVE STRAIGHT ON ANY TYPE OF ROAD SURFACE. FROM VARIOUS READINGS, THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE SPRINGS. MY 2004 CAMRY, V6 HAS HAD A HESITATION SINCE I FIRST PURCHASED IT. THE HESITATION HAPPENS AFTER STOPPING A SIGNS OR WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC. TWICE I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT WAS SOMETHING WITH THE BRAIN THAT SENDS INFORMATION FROM THROTTLE SENSOR TO THE TRANSMISSION. THE SERVICE TECH STATED THAT IT WAS JUST THE V6'S AND THE 2004 CARS THAT HAVE THIS PROBLEM, UNTIL MORE PEOPLE COMPLAIN NO REPAIRS OR RECALLS WILL BE MADE. *NM
CAR CONSISTENTLY PULLS TO THE LEFT INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. *NM
CONSUMER WAS PARKING THE VEHICLE WHEN IT SUDDENLY ACCELERATED. CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKES, BUT THE VEHICLE JUST KEPT GOING ,CAUSING PROPERTY DAMAGE. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERS. OWNER DROVE THE VEHICLE HOME AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE DONE. AGAIN, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ACCELERATE UNEXPECTEDLY. *AK 9/26/2005 - THE VEHICLE'S BRAKE SYSTEM FAILED WHEN THE CONSUMER WAS RETURNING HOME AFTER THE REPAIRS (THE VEHICLE DID NOT ACCELERATE AGAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO PERFORMED A BRAKE SYSTEM REPAIR. THE BRAKE PEDAL STILL FEELS SOFT/LOW. *DSY
CONSUMER NOTICED IN FRONT PASSENGER'S SEAT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG SYSTEM BECAME DISABLED. DEALER ADMITTED THERE WAS PROBLEM WITH THE DESIGN OF THE AIR BAG SYSTEM.*AK CONSUMER IS HEAVY SET AND WELL OVER THE MANUFACTURERS THREASHOLD OF 80LBS, 6.2 IN HEIGHT AND THE PSIR WILL NOT ACTIVATE ALMOST 100% OF THE TIME WNEH SEATED IN THE PASENGER FRONT SEAT. WHEN OTHER PEOPLE GET INTO THE SEAT THAT WEIGHT LESS THEN CONSUMER THE PSIR CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM WILL ACTIVATE. CURRENTLY IN ARBITRATION. DEALER CAN NOT FIX VEHICLE.CW
SUDDEN ACCELERATION WHEN PULLING INTO PARKING SPACE
THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE CAR AFTER HAVING THIS PART REPAIRED THE PREVIOUS WEEK. TOYOTA DID A FINAL REPAIR ATTEMPT ON THE CAR IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE LEMON LAW FOR A RESONABLE NUMBER OF ATTEPMTS. THE YAW SENSOR WAS REPLACED AND THE LIGHT WENT OFF. THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM IN THE CAR WAS NOT WORKING UNTIL THE PART WAS REPLACED.*AK

MY MOTHER AND FRIEND STARTED OUT FOR CHURCH, THE FRIEND HAD COME TO PICK HER UP WHEN THE 2004 TOYOTA CAMRY WITH LESS THAN 3000 MILES ON IT WAS HAVING DIFFICULTY SHIFTING INTO REVERSE, THEN WHEN SHE SHIFTED INTO DRIVE THE CAR ACCELERATED UNCONTROLLABLY EST SPEED ON 80 - 92 MILE A HOUR IN LESS THAN 250 FT WHEN THE CAR HIT A MOBILE HOME. THEY HIT SO HARD IT MOVED DOUBLE WIDE ALMOST A FOOT. KILLING MY MOTHER THE PASSENGER AND INJURY TO HER FRIEND THE DRIVER. NO AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND WHEN TOYOTA WAS CONTACTED THEY REFUSED TO SPECK TO US. ATTORNEYS HAVE SAID THAT TOYOTA IS SO BIG, NOT COST AFFECTIVE....SO I WATCH AND IN TWO YEARS THERE ARE MANY MANY MORE NOW....HOW MANY MORE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE SOMETHING IS DONE. DRL WILL NOT TURN ON HEADLIGHTS THAT THE OWNERS MANUAL ON PAGE 98 SAID THAT IT WILL, THIS COULD CAUSE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. THE AUTO IS A NEW 2004 CAMRY XLE, WITH 902 MILES AT THIS TIME. THE LIGHTS SHOULD COME ON AS STATED IN THE BOOK, OR A WARNING SHOULD BE IN THE MANUAL, THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WILL COME ON WHEN THE LIGHT SWITCH IS IN THE DRL.*AK
WHEN SHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR ONLY FROM A STOP, THERE IS A JERKY OR STUTTERING FEELING ON VARYING ROAD SURFACES. THIS OCCURS APPROXIMATELY 2 - 3 TIMES DAILY. THE CAR IS DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 50 MILES A DAY. THE CAR HAS BEEN TEST DRIVEN BY THE DEALER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE CAR'S COMPUTER WAS REPROGRAMMED ON THE 3RD VISIT; HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM CONTINUED. THE DEALER CONTACTED TOYOTA; HOWEVER, HAS BEEN TOLD THAT THERE ARE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND THEY CAN NOT AUTHORIZE ANY REPAIRS AT THIS TIME. *JB
I BOUGHT THIS CAR ON 1/1/04. WHEN I TOOK IT BACK A WEEK LATER TO HAVE LEATHER PUT ON THE SEATS, I TOLD THEM IT WAS PULLING TO THE LEFT. SUPPOSEDLY THEY ALIGNED THE FRONT END BUT THEY DIDN'T PUT ANYTHING IN THE COMPUTER ABOUT IT. THEY HAVE ROTATED THE TIRES, SWITCHED THE TIRES, ALIGNED THE FRONT END, PUT A NEW RACK ON IT ETC. ETC. THE LAST TIME THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND I SHOULD READ THE OWNERS MANUAL ON HOW TO OPERATE IT. I HAVE DEALT WITH THIS FOR 3 MONTHS AND NO SATISFACTION. I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM AND TOLD THEM I WANTED ANOTHER CAR. THEY GAVE ME ONE TO SEE IF I LIKED IT AND THEN PULLED MINE IN TO WORK ON IT AGAIN AFTER I HAD TOLD THEM NO MORE. THEY CALLED ME TODAY TO TELL ME IT WAS FIXED. RIGHT!!! I HAVE CALLED MY LAWYER. *JB
I'VE HAD A TOYOTA SOLARA SINCE LATE FEBRUARY, AND NOTICED THE PROBLEM WITHIN DAYS. IT PULLS TO THE LEFT WHILE DRIVING, AND SLIPS INTO OTHER LANES USUALLY FROM THE RIGHT. A SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS FLAW EXISTS IN THE 2004 TOYOTA CAMRY LE V6 WHICH THE COMPANY REFUSES TO CORRECT. OUR CAR CONTAINS DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AND CURTAIN AIRBAGS. THIS WAS SPECIFICIALLY PURCHASED AS OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT ($650. ADDITIONAL) FOR THE SAFETY OF THE FRONT PASSENGER. THE SYSTEM IS SUCH THAT "AIRBAG ON" AND "AIRBAG OFF" INDICATOR LIGHTS INDICATE THE ACTIVATION OF THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG, SIDE AIRBAG ON THE PASSENGER SEAT AND FRONT PASSENGER'S SEAT BELT PTENSIONER. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY THE DEALER THAT A PERSON WEIGHING 70LBS. OR MORE SHOULD ACTIVATE THE "AIRBAG ON" INDICATOR LIGHT AND AFFORD PROTECTION FOR THE FRONT PASSENGER. MY SPOUSE WIEGHS 95 LBS. SHE DOES NOT PRESENTLY ACTIVATE THE "AIRBAG ON" INDICATOR LIGHT ALTHOUGH IT DID ACTIVATE THE FIRST TWO MONTHS WE HAD THE CAR. WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DOING TO HAVE THE FRONT PASSENGER PROTECTED IS FOR ME (THE DRIVER) TO PRESS DOWN ON THE SEAT WHILE I START THE CAR WITH MY SPOUSE IN THE FRONT SEAT. THIS WORKS ABOUT ONCE EVERY FOUR OR FIVE ATTEMPTS. THE ABOVE IS BAD ENOUGH, BUT ON TWO OCCASIONS, THE INDICATOR LIGHT WENT FROM "AIRBAG ON" TO "AIRBAG OFF" WHILE WE WERE DRIVING. I HAD TO PULL OVER TO TRY TO ACTIVATE THE "AIRBAG ON" TO AFFORD PROTECTION FOR THE FRONT PASSENGER. AS I MENTIONED ABOVE, THE COMPANY HAS REFUSED TO CORRECT THIS DANGEROUS SITUATION. I SPOKE TO THE DEALER (PRESTIGE TOYOTA OF RAMSEY, NJ) AND TO THE TOYOTA CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER TO NO AVAIL.*AK

AS I WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE WITH MY FOOT DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, MY NEW (LESS THAN ONE MONTH OLD) TOYOTA CAMRY 2004 SURGED FORWARD AT A HIGH VELOCITY AND I HIT A BRICK WALL DAMAGING MY VEHICLE. INJURY: SPRAINED RIBS AND BRUISES TO CHEST AND KNEES. *AK
2004 SOLARA SE SPORT PULLS (DRIFTS) TO THE LEFT. I PURCHASED A 2004 SOLARA, AND SINCE THE DAY I DROVE IT OUT OF THE SHOWROOM, IT HAS PULLED TO THE LEFT. I HAVE BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT 6 TIMES OVER THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF (ELGIN TOYOTA), AND WHATEVER THEY HAVE ATTEMPTED (IF ANYTHING) TO DO, NOTHING HAS HELPED. THEY WERE GOING TO GET TOYOTA REPS OUT TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT (AT LEAST THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO) WHEN THEY HAD THE CAR FOR 5 DAYS, BUT NO TOYOTA REP EVER LOOKED AT IT, OR DID THEY DO ANYTHING TO TRY AND FIX IT. *NM
DRIVING MY 04 CAMRY WHEN THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON. THE ABS ACTUATOR HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM WOULD HAVE FAILED UNTIL THIS PART WAS REPLACED. IT WAS IN A TOYOTA SERVICE STATION FOR 18 CONSECUTIVE DAYS AWAITING THESE REPAIRS BECUASE THE PROBLEM WAS MISDIAGNOSED TWO TIMES BEFORE FINDING THE ACTUAL PART THAT NEEDED REPLACED. THE OLD PART IS NOT AVAILABLE.*AK
THE SPEEDOMETER AND ODOMETER READS HIGHER THAN THE ACTUAL SPEED AND DISTANCE DRIVEN. THE ODOMETER RECORDS APROXIMATELY 1.2 MILES WHEN DRIVEN 1.O MILE. THE SPEED REGISTERS MUCH FASTER THAN ACTUAL ROAD SPEED. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW WHAT ACTUAL SPEED THE VEHICLE IS TRAVLLING.*AK
I HAVE REPLACED THE BRAKES, ROTORS AND CALIPERS 5 TIMES TOYOTA CLAIMS ALL WEAR AND TEAR BUT THE WHOLE BRAKING SYSTEM IS A DEFECT CAR IS A LEMON FROM THE START. TOYOTA REFUSES TO FIX IT. *JB
THE BUMPERS ARE LACKING METAL CONTENT. THE BUMPER IS EASILY DENTED WHEN TOUCHING ANYTHING. CONSUMER DENTED FRONT RIGHT SIDE BUMPER. THE MATERIAL DESIGN IS POORLY MANUFACTURED, AND SOMEONE WILL BE INJURED.*AK
A NEW 2004 CAMRY SE WILL NOT ALIGN AND HAS SEVERE STEERING PROBLEMS. TO FOLLOW TOYOTA'S SUGGEST THE ALIGNMENT COMPUTER GENERATED REPORT WILL NOTE: CROSS CAMBER ACTUAL "THIS VALUE IS NOT WITHIN SPECIFICATION. TIRE WEAR, HANDLING AND SAFETY PROBLEMS MAY RESULT." *JB
SINCE PURCHASING MY 2004 TOYOTA SOLARA, I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT IT'S STEERING AND HOW UNSAFE IT FEELS TO DRIVE. PULLS TO THE LEFT FREQUENTLY, AND THE RIGHT LESS FREQUENTLY. STEERING IS VERY UNPREDICTABLE, AND FEELS UNSAFE. CAR SLIDES INTO OTHER LANES, AS IF ON ICE...ESPECIALLY WHEN PASSED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. DEALER REPAIRED A SLIGHT FAULT WITH SOME RINGS BEING INSTALLED INCORRECTLY, IT ONLY SLIGHTLY CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. STEERING IS MORE CONTROLLED, BUT CAR STILL DRIFTS INTO OTHER LANES. CAR ALSO ROCKS WHEN IN A PARKED POSITION, IF EMERGENCY BRAKE IS NOT ENGAGED, AND WILL ROLL BACKWARD WHEN STOPPED GOING UPWARD ON HILL...BRAKES DO NOT LOCK INTO A HOLD POSITION. *JB
SEVERE HESITATION ON ACCELLERATION. THE CAR REMINDS ME OF A 1970'S VOLKSWAGEN I HAD THAT WOULD STALL WHEN THE GAS PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. IT CAN BE SCARY ACCELERATING ACROSS AN INTERCECTION WITH CARS COMING OR PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC BECAUSE OF THE UNPREDICTABILITY.*AK
1/28/04, I WAS PULLING HEAD ON, AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED, ALMOST A CRAWL, INTO A PARKING SPACE, IN FRONT OF A BUSINESS AND THE CAR "JUMPED" OR SURGED FORWARD. MY FOOT WAS OFF THE BRAKE AND THE ACCELERATOR WHEN THIS OCCURRED. I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN JANUARY 2004, AND I STARTED COMPLAINING THE NEXT DAY. IT FEELS LIKE IT IS SLIPPING INTO ANOTHER LANE WHEN GOING OVER 60 MPH, LIKE I DROVE OVER SOMETHING SLIPPERY LIKE ICE. IT ALSO PULLS TO THE RIGHT, AND SOMETIMES TO THE LEFT. THE DEALER ACTED LIKE IT WAS IN MY MIND, BUT I NOW SEE IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING A LOT. IS LEMON LAW A POSSIBILITY? I FEEL VERY UNSAFE. *LA
WHILE DRIVING THE HEADLIGHTS ARE TOO HIGH. ONCOMING TRAFFIC WILL FLASH THEIR LIGHTS ON AND OFF. TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, THEY ADJUSTED THE HEADLIGHTS, WHICH DID NOT HELP. IT GOT WORSE. *AK THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHT LENS HAD A SEAM ACROSS THE TOP WHERE THE PLASTIC IS JOINED. THE SEAM CAUSES DISTORTION AND AN ABRUPT CUT OFF OF LIGHT. *TC
WHEN I SHIFTED FROM PARKING TO BACK, MY 2004 TOYOTA CAMRY LE WENT FORWARD INSTEAD OF BACKWARD, WHICH REALLY SURPRISED ME. SAME SITUATION HAPPENED AGAIN 20 DAYS LATER.*AK
