DRIVER SIDE VISOR FLAPS DOWN TO FOREHEAD LEVEL WHEN STATIONARY. FLAPS DOWN POINTING DOWN WHEN IN MOTION GOING OVER BUMP. VISOR DOES NOT STAY TUCKED IN ITS STOW AWAY POSITION. CAUSED INJURY TO RIGHT TEMPLE GETTING INTO THE CAR. CAUSED FOREHEAD INJURY AT A SUDDEN STOP. DEALT WE REFUSED TO REPLACE OR REPAIR. TOYOTA CLAIMS THE THE RECALL ENDED IN 2018 SO THE PART IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REPLACEMENT.
AS SOON AS I DROVE THIS CAR OFF THE LOT, THE "TIRE BALANCE" LIGHT CAME ON. THE TIRES WERE LOW SO I PUT AIR IN THEM AND THE LIGHT IS STILL ON. THE FRONT BUMPER SKIRT SCRAPES ON EVERY DIP IN THE ROAD IT SEEMS, SOUNDING HORRIBLE. THEN, IT GOT CAUGHT ON A PARKING STOP WHICH LOOSENED THE SKIRT SO IT NOW HANGS EVEN LOWER AND SCRAPES BOTTOM OVER EVERY CRACK IN THE ROAD.
DASH IS CRACKED, STICKY, AND MELTS IN THE HEAT. MAKES THE DASH SURFACE SHINY & REFLECTIVE - HARD TO SEE IN SUNNY CONDITIONS. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A MANUFACTURERS' DEFECT DUE TO CHEAP PLASTIC BEING USED.
CAR CONTINUES TO SLIP AND REV UP DURING MANY UP-SHIFTS OR WHEN SLOWING DOWN. AFTER SOME TIME THAT IT HAS WARM ENOUGH IT WILL STOP DOING IT, BUT IT ALWAYS SLIPS AND REVS UP BETWEEN THIRD AND FOURTH SHIFT. ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR FEW YEARS NOW, BUT NO ONE HAD SHOWED UP WITH A RIGHT SOLUTION.
TRANSMISSION FAILS AFTER DRIVING IN REVERSE. GEARS CAN BE CHANGED WITH THE LEVER BUT TRANSMISSION DOESN'T ENGAGE THE GEARS. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS OFF AND NO OTHER INDICATORS ARE PRESENT.
DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT SUN VISOR DOES NOT STAY IN THE UPRIGHT STOWED POSITION. IT DROOPS DOWN AND OBSTRUCTS VISIBILITY WHILE DRIVING.
THE AUTO WAS ORIGINALLY KEPT YEAR ROUND IN MINNESOTA. WE HAVE A PLACE IN ALAMO TX 2 YEARS AGO WE DROVE THE CAMRY DOWN TO TEXAS AND FLEW BACK TO MINNESOTA. WE LEFT THE CAR IN A GARAGE. THE FALL OF 2020 IS WHEN WE DISCOVERED WE HAD A STICKY DASH. WE CALLED TOYOTA IN PHARR TX THEY SAID THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS BUT THE TIME HAD EXPIRED FOR US TO GET IT FIXED UNDER THE RECALL ABOUT 2 YEARS AGE. BECAUSE THE CAMRY WAS IN MN FOR THE MAJORITY OF ITS LIFE, THE PROBLEM WASN'T DISCOVERED UNTIL THE FALL OF 2020, 2 YEARS AFTER THE REBATE EXPIRED. THE TECHNITION AT PHARR TOYOTA SAYS THAT HEAT AND HUMIDITY CAUSED THE PROBLEM. THUS THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY IN TEXAS FOR 2 YEARS BROUGHT THIS PROBLEM TO LIGHT 2 YEARS AFTER THE REBATE EXPIRED. THE DASH IS STICKY AND ITS A SHINY REFLECTIVE SURFACE THAT RELECTS LIGHT, HAMPERING VISABILITY WHICH IS DANGEROUS. WE REQUEST TOYOTA FIX OUR DASH.
MY CAR HAS BEEN DRIVING NORMALLY. I KEEP UP WITH MAINTENANCE. I TURNED ON THE CAR AND STARTED DRIVING LIKE NORMAL. NO LIGHTS WERE ON. AS I GOT ON THE HIGHWAY THE AIRBAG LIGHT TURNED ON. IT HAS NOT TURNED OFF SINCE.
MELTING DASHBOARD.TOYOTA WAS ORDERED BY COURT TO REPLACE AND THEY DID BUT NOW MELTING AGAIN WHICH MEANS COURT ORDER NOT REPLIED WITH AS PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. TOYOTA WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR MELTING AGAIN ISSUE. THIS IS NOT ONLY HORRIBLE BUT A SAFETY ISSUE AS VISABILITY IS HAMPERED. NEED YOU TO ADVISE TOYOTA THEY MUST COMPLY WITH COURT ORDER SINCE MELTING AGAIN MEANS NOT COMPLIED WITH PREVIOUSLY
I HAVE PROBLEM FOR REAR SEAT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR HANDLE FROM INSIDE IS NOT WORKING AT ALL
WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH CAME TO A RED LIGHT. SUDDENLY THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS VERY SOFT AND DIFFICULT- STOPPING ABILITY WITH GREAT PRESSURE APPLIED AND LONG DISTANCE TO STOP- BUT ABLE TO STOP. THEN A LOUD BANG AND THE PEDAL WENT TO NORMAL. VSC CODE APPEARED IN MIDDLE OF DISPLAY AND BRAKE TRACTION CONTROL AND ABS LIGHTS CAME ON.
WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM SCHOOL MY MOTOR THREW A ROD DUE TO LACK OF OIL. I HAD NO WARNING WHAT SO EVER BEFORE THIS HAPPENING. NOT TO MENTION JUST GOT MY OIL CHANGED 1 MONTH PRIOR TO THIS HAPPENING
BRAKE ACULATOR MALFUNCTION DRIVING ON HIGHWAY BRAKE WOULDN'T STOP
MELTING DASHBOARD WHICH COURT ORDERED TOYOTA TO REPAIR AS RULED MFG DEFECT. TOYOTA REPLACED AND NOW MELTING AGAIN AND TOYOTA WAS ORDERED TO AGAIN REPLACE AS RULED THAT BECAUSE MELTING AGAIN ORIG ORDER NEVER COMPLIED WITH.TOYOTA WILL NOT. THIS IS NOT ONLY HORRIBLE BUT A SAFETY ISSUE AS MELTING IN YOUR HANDS AND CAUSING VISABILITY PROBLEMS.
THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR IS ALWAYS ON, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DROPS. AFTER HAVING TIRE PRESSURE CHECKED THINGS ARE USUALLY OK FOR A DAY OR TWO AND THEN THEY ARE BACK TO PRESSURE SENSOR ILLUMINATING. THIS IS A VERY COMMON AND KNOWN PROBLEM WITH TOYOTA AND LEXUS. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE 2010 WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS AS PURCHASED.
THERE IS A NOISE FROM SOMETHING LOOSE THAT I HAD CHECKED OUT A COUPLE TIMES WITH NO SUCCESS. IT COMES FROM THE BACK END OF CAR NEAR TRUCK AREA AND SOUNDS LIKE A LOOSE MUFFLER OR A KNOCKING/VIBRATING MANIFOLD WHEN DRIVING OVER BUMPS OR A ROUGH SURFACE. THE NOISE WASN'T AS NOTICEABLE WHEN I GOT IT IN 2010, BUT HAS BECOME MORE NOTICEABLE OVER THE YEARS. THE MAINTENANCE AND CAR IS WELL CARED FOR.
I GOT IN MY CAR TO GO TO WORK YESTERDAY MORNING AND MY CAR SPEAD UP TO FAST I WASNT ON MY GAS CUZ I LIVE IN A TOWN N HAVE A SHORT DRIVEWAY. SO I GO TO PUT ON MY BREAKS N I COULDN'T STOP ITS LIKE THERE WAS NO BRAKES. SO I LET OFF N SLAMED ON THEM AGAIN BEFOR I HIT THE ROAD N I STOPED BARRLY OUT IN THE ROAD. MY BREAK LIGHT THEN WAS ON. N IT STILL FELT LIKE I HAD NO BRAKES AT THE STOP SIGN. SO I PULLED OVER SHUT MY CAR OFF FOR 10 MINUTE N STARTED TO HEAD TO WORK. NOW MY BRAKES WAS TOUCHY BUT MY BREAK LIGHT WAS OFF. SO I MADE IT TO WORK AND WHEN I GOT IN MY CAR AFTER 7 HOURS IT WAS FINE LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE HAS BEEN OTHER TIMES WHERE I HAVE LEFT WORK N MY CAR SWITCHES FROM BATTER TO GAS N IT SPEEDS UP BUT THIS TIME WAS DIFFERANT N MUCH FASTER IN SUCK A SHORT DISTANCE
CAR HAD VSC SYSTEM REPLACED DUE TO RECALL A FEW YEARS AGO. HAVING ISSUES AGAIN WITH VSC SYSTEM LIGHT COMING ON, ABS LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT WHILE THE CAR WAS BEING DRIVEN UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS.
AT LESS THAN 80,000 MILES THE ABS SYSTEM FAILED. WARRANTY WOULD NOT COVER IT. WE REPLACED THE UNIT, BUT LAST WEEK THE VSC WARNING LIT UP AGAIN. THE ABS SYSTEM HAS FAILED AGAIN. THE VEHICLE NOW WAS 122,226 MILES.
THE DASHBOARD IS MELTING AND IT GETS WORST EVERYDAY
MY CAR IS BURNING EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF OIL WHILE DRIVING.
WELL WHEN I DRIVE IT LOSES POWER AND ALSO BUNS A LOT OF OIL AND GAS AND LATELY IT BEEN SHAKING A LOT WHEN I DRIVE IT I MADE A TUNAP TO IT BUT IT SEEMS TO BE THE SAME PROBLEM
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD MELTED AND EXPERIENCED CRACKING AND SEPARATION. THE CONTACTED INDICATED THAT AFTER A TEN-YEAR-OLD CHILD TOUCHED THE MELTING DASHBOARD, RESIDUE FROM THE DASHBOARD WAS PRESENT ON THE CHILD'S HAND. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
ABOUT A YEAR AGO, I NOTICED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS NOT FIRM. IT DENTED VERY EASILY. THIS YEAR, I DID NOT DRIVE MUCH, BUT WHEN I DID, THE DASHBOARD WAS MELTING AND SHINY, REFLECTING IN THE WINDSHIELD, MAKING VISIBILITY DANGEROUSLY INSUFFICIENT WHILE DRIVING. THE PROBLEM IS MUCH WORSE ON SUNNY DAYS. DASHBOARD CAN NOT BE CLEANED, SINCE IT IS GOOEY. PRECISE DATE IS HARD TO SAY, BECAUSE OF COVID RESTRICTIONS AND CAUTIONS.
2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO DEFECTIVE FIRESTONE TIRES ON VEHICLE. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE CAUSES A SHAKE/HOP, WHICH WAS VERY NOTICEABLE AT LOW SPEEDS AND ESCALATES AT HIGH SPEEDS. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. *JS
CAR NO LONGER GOES IN ECO MODE. WHEN DRIVE CAR IT WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. WHEN BACKING UP AND SOMETIMES GOING FORWARD THE WHEELS VIBRATE AND DON'T MOVE LIKE THEY ARE LOCKED.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, THE SPEEDOMETER AND ALL OF THE GAUGES STALLED OUT WHILE THE CAR WAS STILL RUNNING. THE CAR GAUGES CAME BACK ON AFTER A FEW MINUTES, PRESENTLY THE GAUGES ARE TAKING A LONGER TIME TO COME BACK ON, IN ADDITION WHILE THE GAUGES ARE OFF THE AIR CONDITIONER GOES OFF AS WELL, WHEN ALL THE GAUGES COME BACK ON THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT COMES ON. WE ARE AFRAID TO TAKE THE CARE OUT OF TOWN BECAUSE WHEN THE GAUGES GO OFF THE CAR IS HARD TO STEER. THIS CONTINUES TO HAPPEN EVERY TIME CAR IS DRIVEN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE AT A STOP, AT AN INTERSECTION, THE VEHICLE INADVERTENTLY ACCELERATED INTO TRAFFIC AND AN 18-WHEELER CRASHED INTO THE PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CHECK DIAGNOSTIC LIGHT WAS ON THE INSTRUMENTAL PANEL PRIOR TO THE CRASH. ONLY THE STEERING WHEEL'S AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND KNOCKED THE CONTACT OUT. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES FROM THE SEATBELT AND THE DEPLOYED AIR BAG. THE FRONT PASSENGER SUSTAINED INTERNAL BLEEDING AND INJURIES TO HIS KNEES, HIS RIGHT LEG AND HIS RIGHT ARM. THE FRONT PASSENGER WAS AIR LIFTED TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT CALLED KNIGHT MOTOR COMPANY DEALER (103 N TIMBERLAND DR, LUFKIN, TX 75901) AND WAS HUNG UP ON. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND WAS TOWED TO A TOW YARD. THE CONTACT STATED RESEARCHED FAILURE ON LINE AND FOUND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 07E082000 (EQUIPMENT) AS A POSSIBLE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. WHILE DRIVING ACROSS NEBRASKA (POSSIBLY JUST INSIDE WYOMING) HEADING TO COLORADO ON SUN JUNE 29TH, ON I-80 (VERY LONG, 80MPH SPEED-LIMIT HIGHWAY), MY CAMRY WITH 215,000 MILES SUDDENLY GAVE A 'CHECK HYBRID ENGINE' CODE, WHICH CAUSED THE GAS-PEDAL TO BE UNRESPONSIVE. THE CHECK ENGINE SYMBOL ALSO CAME ON. THE ELECTRONIC 'TRIP INFORMATION' DATA-GRAPHIC SHOWED MY HYBRID BATTERY WAS DOWN TO ONE PINK-LINE SUGGESTING LOW-POWER IN THE HYBRID BATTERY. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER SMOOTHLY. OVER THE COURSE OF TWO HOURS WAITING FOR A TOW-TRUCK THAT NEVER ARRIVED, I TURNED THE VEHICLE ON/OFF A FEW TIMES TO VERIFY THE ON-BOARD GPS FOR OUR LOCATION (ALL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS WITHIN THE VEHICLE STILL WORKED). AT AROUND THE TWO HOUR WAITING-MARK, WHEN I TURNED THE VEHICLE BACK ON, THE 'CHECK HYBRID ENGINE' ALERT AND THE CHECK-ENGINE SYMBOL BOTH DISAPPEARED, & I WAS ABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE THE VEHICLE THE ADDITIONAL 50+ MILES TO MY FINAL DESTINATION IN FORT COLLINS COLORADO. I TOOK IT TO A DEALERSHIP IN COLORADO & TWO CODES WERE REGISTERED: POAOF-204 - ENGINE FAILED TO START (?? THE VEHICLE ALWAYS 'STARTED' SO I'M NOT CLEAR ABOUT THIS CODE) AND P3190 - POOR ENGINE POWER. EVEN THOUGH I WAS ABLE TO LIMP THE VEHICLE AROUND FORT COLLINS, THE HYBRID BATTERY WOULD ONLY GET UP TO THREE CHARGE LINES (BLUE), WHICH ISN'T EVEN HALF-CHARGED, BEFORE TRICKLING BACK DOWN TO THE TWO OR EVEN ONE PINK-LINE. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY IN-TRANSIT ON A CARRIER TRUCK TO MY HOME BACK IN BUFFALO, NY. THE VEHICLE'S ALWAYS BEEN RELIABLE TO THIS POINT, AND I HAVE HAD IT SINCE APPROXIMATELY 23,000 MILES (WHEN I TOOK IT OVER FROM MY FATHER). I AM CONCERNED THAT THIS PROBLEM IS THE SAME PROBLEM AFFECTING CERTAIN PRIUS MODELS (2011-2015) WHERE THE GAS ENGINE NO LONGER COMMUNICATES/CHARGES THE HYBRID ENGINE. THE VEHICLE PASSED NYS INSPECTION WITH AN OIL CHANGE IN JUNE 2020. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
DASHBOARD IS GETTING SOFT AND SHINY AND PIECES OF IT COME OFF VERY EASILY. IT REFLECTS ONTO THE WINDSHIELD AND MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE WHEN THE SUN IS OUT. *TR
VSC, ABS, AIR LIGHTS ARE ON. MAKES A PEAK SOUND WHEN I START MY CAR. IT STAYS FOR A LONG TIME AND GOES AWAY. DURING THIS TIME BREAK DOES NOT WORK AS NORMAL. FEELS HARD TO PRESS BREAK AND UNABLE TO STOP THE CAR. YESTERDAY WHEN I'M DRIVING SUDDENLY SOUND CAME ON AND I WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE CAR AS I NORMALLY CAN. WHEN I TRY TO PRESS THE BREAK. BREAK DOES NOT APPLY.
THIS PAST SUMMER (2020) THE DASH OF MY 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY GOT VERY STICKY AND MADE A REFLECTION ON MY WINDSHIELD MAKING VISIBILITY IMPAIRED WHICH IS A HUGE HAZARD. YOU CANNOT SEE THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. I RESEARCHED IT TODAY AND FOUND OUT TOYOTA EXTENDED ITS WARRANTY FOR THIS PROBLEM, BUT IT EXPIRED IN 2017. MY PROBLEM DIDN'T START UNTIL 2020. I WANT THE NATIONAL TRAFFIC HIGHWAY SAFETY ADMINISTRATION TO INVESTIGATE THIS AND REQUIRE TOYOTA TO DO A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM.
I JUST BOUGHT THIS TOYOTA CAMRY AND DIDN'T REALIZE UNTIL AFTER THAT THE DASHBOARD IS VERY STICKY AND GETS REALLY SHINEY AS THE TEMPERATURE RISES. THIS CAUSES A GLARE ON THE WINDSHIELD. AFTER RESEARCHING I FOUND OUT THAT TOYOTA ISSUED A EXTENDED WARRANTY. HOWEVER THEY SAID THAT IT EXPIRED ON 5/31/17 AND THEY CANT DO ANYTHING. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND I BELIEVE THAT IT SHOULD BE RECALLED AND THEY SHOULD REPLACE THE DASHBOARD. THE CAR ONLY HAS 68370 MILES AND HAS A LONG LIFE. I DO FEEL THAT MY LIFE IS IN DANGER WITH THIS KNOWN PROBLEM THAT THEY DON'T WANT TO FIX. PLEASE HELP!!!!! THIS ISSUE IS ALL OF THE TIME. *TR

VCS SYSTEM LIGHT ON BRAKE LIGHT WARNING LIGHT ABS LIGHT. *TR
THE ABS ACTUATOR WENT BAD WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREE, THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME HARD AND THE CAR DIDN'T STOPPED, ALMOST HITTING ONCOMING TRAFFIC, VERY HAZARDOUS SITUATION.
My 2007 Toyota Camry was manufactured with faulty piston rings that Toyota acknowledges that causes the engine to burn oil. I need to put 1/4 of quart of oil per week to avoid the engine from burning and up risking it from catching on fire. Toyota offered to fix this issue from 2008-2010, but I was not notified nor was I aware of this issue. It wasn't until 2020 when my car got about 70k miles that I started to notice the oil burning. It now has 92k miles and the issue has worsened and Toyota will not fix their defect.
CAR IS BURNING 2+ QUARTS OF OIL EVERY 1000 MILES, RESULTING IN 5 QUARTS BURNED OIL PER MONTH. THIS WILL EVENTUALLY CAUSE THE ENGINE TO CEASE, MAYBE DURING HIGH SPEED, RESULTING IN A FATAL ACCIDENT.
THE PLASTIC PANEL THAT HOLDS THE AIRBAG ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE (BETWEEN THE WINDSHIELD AND THE DOOR) IS EXPANDED AND BENT. I AM VERY CONCERNED THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE AIRBAG OR IF THE AIRBAG IS EXPANDING INSIDE THE PLASTIC PANEL AND THEREFORE IS DEFECTIVE. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SINCE CAMRY WAS NOT PART OF THE AIRBAG RECALL AS MANY OTHER TOYOTA MODELS.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGH WAY COMING FROM THE AIRPORT GIVING A RIDE TO A FAMILY MEMBER AFTER ABOUT 7 MINUTES FROM THE TIME I STARTED DRIVING, THE CAR SHOWED ENGINE SIGN AND IN LESS THAT 5 MINUTES THE CAR SUDDENLY STOPPED. I HAVE TRIED TO PULL IT TO A SAFE PLACE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, THEN IT STARTED SHOWING SMOKE IN THE HOOD.
THE DASH IS REALLY STIKY WHEN IS HOT OR IF I PARKED IN PARKING LOT
CAMRY BURNS EXCESSIVE OIL AND NEEDS TOP UP AT FREQUENT INTERVALS BETWEEN OIL CHANGES. DEALERSHIP SAID THAT IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM AND ENGINE NEEDS FIX
THE ABS SENSOR/MODULE HAS GONE OUT AGAIN. I SPENT SEVERAL THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS AND DIAGNOSTICS YEARS AGO FOR THE SAME ISSUE. NOW IT HAS GONE CRAZY AGAIN. THE DASH HAS BEEN REPLACED DUE TO BEING STICKY. THE CAR ITSELF BURNS OIL, WE ARE CONSTANTLY CHECKING AND ADDING TO IT. IT SEEMS SEVERAL HAVE HAD THESE ISSUES AND TOYOTA SHOULD BE FIXING THEM. *TR
IN 2015 I NOTICED I WAS BURNING THROUGH OIL TOO FAST, SO I TOOK MY 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID IT COULD BE THE PISTON RINGS (A KNOWN PROBLEM, BUT NOT COVERED), AND THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. FAST FORWARD TO JANUARY 2020, AND I'M BURNING THROUGH 2.5 QUARTS EVERY FILL-UP. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND 'CYLINDER 3 MISFIRE' WAS DETECTED ALONG WITH A BAD SPARK PLUG. I HAD TO SPEND AROUND $400 TO FIX A COIL AND SPARK PLUG BECAUSE THE 3RD CYLINDER HAD EXPANDED AND WAS SPILLING OVER. 3 WEEKS LATER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED WITH ME ADDING 1 QUART OF OIL EVERY 1/2 TANK. I WAS TOLD THIS WOULD COST UPWARDS OF $2,000-$3,000 TO FIX. I'VE SEEN THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM, ESPECIALLY WITH THE 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY, AND THIS MIGHT BE DUE TO BAD PISTON RINGS. I WAS FORCED TO GET A NEW CAR THIS WEEKEND BECAUSE OF THIS.
DASHBOARD IS MELTING, STICKY, SHINY, CREATES DANGEROUS GLARE.
HAVING A REALLY SCARY DANGEROUS PROBLEM WITH MY 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY WHILE I'M DRIVING MY CAR ON THE INTERSTATE MY CAR RANDOMLY CUTS OFF IN THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING THIS IS SO DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE AND COULD CAUSE A BAD ACCIDENT
WAS T-BONED ON MY DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR AT 40MPH AND NO AIRBAG DEPLOYED.. NOT EVEN THE SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG AND THE WHOLE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW SHATTERED. WAS TURNING LEFT AT A LIGHT WHEN I WAS TBONED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 30 TO 40 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND WENT TO THE FLOOR BOARD. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO ENGAGE THE PARKING BRAKE AND MOVE ONTO THE ROAD SHOULDER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO ROSEVILLE TOYOTA 700 AUTOMALL DRIVE, ROSEVILLE, CA 95661, (916)782-2163. THE DEALER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE BRAKE ACTUATOR FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SUBJECTED TO EXTENDED WARRANTY DUE TO THE MODEL YEAR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.
