2009 TOYOTA COROLLA STEERING DRIFTS BADLY ON THE HIGHWAY. THE CAR HAS TO BE CONSTANTLY CORRECTED TO MAINTAIN A STRAIGHT LINE. *TR
IN MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA, THE STEERING IS FINICKY AT SPEEDS ABOUT 50 MILES PER HOUR. IT CONSTANTLY FEELS LIKE IT IS BEING DRIVEN IN WINDY CONDITIONS AND WANDERS IN THE LANE, REQUIRING CONSTANT STEERING CORRECTION. I PURCHASED THE CAR IN MAY 2008; IN JUNE I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL DEALER BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT HAD ALIGNMENT PROBLEMS. THEY SAID THE 'LIGHT' STEERING FEEL WAS NORMAL AND NO FIX WAS PRESCRIBED. I THEN WROTE A LETTER OF COMPLAINT TO TOYOTA AND RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. SINCE THEN, I HAVE JUST HAD TO GET USED TO IT AND BE CONSCIENCE OF IT WHILE BEHIND THE WHEEL. I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT IT WAS UNSAFE AS ANY TIME I TAKE MY EYES OFF THE ROAD, THE CAR VEERS TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT RANDOMLY. NOW I HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE THAT IT MIGHT NOT BE 'NORMAL,' BUT A NATIONAL CONCERN. *TR
2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHEN TRAVELING OVER 50 MILES PER HOUR, THE STEERING IS "LOOSE" OR UNCONTROLLABLE. THE VEHICLE CAN STRAY INTO OTHER LANES OF TRAFFIC. THIS HAS OCCURRED ALMOST EVERYDAY SINCE I TAKE THE FREEWAY TO GET TO MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING FROM THE DEALERSHIP THAT THE RESPONSE IS: THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE HEADREST POSITIONS HER HEAD AT A DOWNWARD ANGLE, WHICH CAUSES NECK PAIN. THE DEALER ATTEMPTED TO ADJUST THE HEADREST, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT SHE COULD ACTUALLY TURN THE HEADREST BACKWARDS; HOWEVER, THIS WAS NOT RECOMMENDED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE HEADRESTS WERE DESIGNED IN THAT MANNER. THE CONTACT DECIDED TO TURN THE HEADREST IN THE BACKWARD POSITION SO THAT SHE WOULD NOT BE IN PAIN WHILE DRIVING. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 1,080 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 630.
2009 TOYOTA COROLLA STEERING COMPLAIN. 1. DIFFICULT TO KEEP THE CAR IN A STRAIGHT POSITION WHILE DRIVING. 2. LOOKS LIKE IT IS LAGGING BEHIND WHEN TURNING OR DRIVING IN A STRAIGHT POSITION. 3. IN A SPLIT SECOND, YOU FEEL THAT YOU ARE NOT IN CONTROL OF THE STEERING. *TR
I PURCHASED A NEW 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA LE FROM SUNNYVALE TOYOTA ON 9 MARCH 2008 . THIS IS THE THIRD NEW TOYOTA COROLLA / GEO PRISM THAT I'VE PURCHASED; ALL SIMILARLY EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND CRUISE CONTROL. ON MAY 29, 2008, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PULL INTO A PARKING SPOT, THE '09 COROLLA SUDDENLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY ACCELERATED WHILE I WAS BRAKING IN ORDER TO COME TO A STOP IN A PARKING LOT. THE VEHICLE JUMPED THE "PARKING BERM" AND ALMOST HIT A TREE BEFORE I COULD COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, SLAM THE GEARSHIFT INTO PARK AND TURN THE KEY TO THE OFF POSITION. SEVERE SURGING HAS OCCURRED IN NORMAL IN TOWN TRAFFIC, WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL DISENGAGED, THREE OR FOUR TIMES SINCE THE INITIAL INCIDENT OCCURRED. THERE IS NO FOREWARNING OR CONSISTENCY IN THIS PATTERN OF SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED ACCELERATION. ACCORDING TO THE TOYOTA, THE VIN FALLS OUTSIDE OF THE CURRENT RECALL RANGE AND THEREFORE DOES NOT WARRANT INVESTIGATION INTO THE CAUSE FOR THESE INCIDENTS. I FEEL THAT THIS VEHICLE POSES A SAFETY THREAT TO MYSELF, AS WELL AS OTHER DRIVERS, AND THAT THE CAUSE OF THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION SHOULD BE DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED PRIOR TO ANYONE BEING INJURED OR WORSE. *TR
I BOUGHT MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA IN MAY 2008. FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY OF OWNERSHIP, THE STEERING HAS BEEN VERY SLOPPY, ESPECIALLY WHEN TRAVELING OVER 50 MPH WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY. THE STEERING SEEMS AS IF IT IS OVER-SENSITIVE AND NOT FINE-TUNED, BUT THERE ALSO COULD BE A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING COMPONENTS. WHEN I BROUGHT THIS ISSUE UP TO MY LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP, THEY RESPONDED BY TELLING ME THAT THE STEERING IS SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY, SINCE IT WAS A NEW ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING SYSTEM, RATHER THAN A CONVENTIONAL POWER STEERING SYSTEM LIKE IN PREVIOUS MODELS. IF THE STEERING IS SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY, THEN WHY IS IT THAT I HAVE SUCH A HARD TIME KEEPING MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA CENTERED IN THE LANE WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. THE VEHICLE WANDERS ALL OVER THE ROAD; AND IF I EVER HAVE A TWITCH OR HAVE TO SNEEZE, THE CAR WOULD, MOST LIKELY, BE DARTING ALL OVER THE HIGHWAY BECAUSE OF THE SLOPPY STEERING. IN TALKING WITH MANY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA OWNERS, THIS PROBLEM DOESN'T SEEM AS IF IT IS MINOR, AS ALL OWNERS THAT I TALK TO HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS. I HAVE TO KEEP BOTH HANDS FIRMLY ON THE STEERING WHEEL, LOOKING STRAIGHT AHEAD IN ORDER TO KEEP MY CAR IN A SEMI-STRAIGHT LINE WHILE TRAVELING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. IF I START LOOKING AROUND, SCANNING FOR POTENTIAL HAZARDS THAT MAY PRESENT THEMSELVES, I FIND THAT THE CAR IS WANDERING TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT WITHOUT ALMOST ANY STEERING INPUT FROM MYSELF. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF THE NHTSA AND TOYOTA WOULD LOOK INTO THIS POTENTIALLY SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING WITH THE 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA SO THAT ALL OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE WOULD ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO HAVE A STRESS-FREE DRIVE WHILE OPERATING THIS VEHICLE. *TR
ATTACHED IS LETTER SUBMITTED TO TOYOTA 7/22/08 I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA FROM WEST HERR TOYOTA, ORCHARD PARK, NEW YORK ON MAY 16, 2008. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK A ROAD TRIP FROM NY TO PA, APPROXIMATELY 6 HOURS OF DRIVING. I AM WRITING TO YOU TODAY TO REPORT MY DISSATISFACTION WITH THE FRONT HEADRESTS IN THE TOYOTA COROLLA. I AM AN EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST AND HAVE WORKED MANY YEARS IN THE INDUSTRIAL REHABILITATION FIELD. I HAVE A PREVIOUS NECK INJURY FROM YEARS OF DOING GYMNASTICS. THE CURRENT FRONT SEAT HEADRESTS ARE ANGLED AT 35% FORWARD FLEXION, WHICH MAY BE POSITIVE IN A CRASH TEST TO PREVENT NECK INJURIES, HOWEVER, IT IS NOT CONDUCIVE FOR COMFORTABLE DRIVING AND PROPER ERGONOMIC FOR SEATED POSITIONS. BY THE TIME I ARRIVED TO MY FINAL DESTINATION IN YORK, PA, MY ENTIRE RIGHT ARM WAS NUMB AND ACHING. I BROUGHT THIS SITUATION TO THE ATTENTION OF MY SALESMAN AT TOYOTA (BILL BITTERMAN) HE SUGGESTED THAT I CONTACT YOUR DEPARTMENT DIRECTLY. HE ALSO TRIED TO REPLACE THE HEADRESTS WITH AN OLDER COROLLA HEADREST, THEY DO NOT FIT INTO THE ANCHOR HOLES OF THE SEAT. SINCE THEN, I TOOK THE SMALLER BACK SEAT HEADREST AND MOVED IT FORWARD TO THE DRIVERS SEAT. IT IS MORE COMFORTABLE THAN THE PREVIOUS HEADREST, BUT IT IS LOOKS AWKWARD AND IS NOT SAFE. ALSO, I MOVED THE FRONT HEADREST TO THE BACK, IT IS TOO LARGE AND CAUSES VISIBILITY ISSUES. MY REQUEST OF YOU IS TO? #1. CONSIDER CHANGING YOUR DESIGN FOR THE HEADRESTS SO THEY DO NOT FORWARD FLEX AT SUCH A GREAT ANGLE TO AVOID MANY ADDITIONAL CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS IN THE FUTURE. #2. SEND TWO NEW FRONT HEADRESTS FOR THE FRONT SEATS (GRAY INTERIOR) THAT FIT APPROPRIATELY AND AT NO CHARGE TO ME. I AM AWARE OF HOW POWERFUL THE ?VOICE OF THE CUSTOMER? TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. SHE STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN. SHE LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING. SHE WAS ABLE TO PULLOVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, BUT SHE NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE WANTED TO STILL TAKE OFF ON ITS OWN. SHE TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE AND TURNED IT BACK ON. AFTER A COUPLE OF MINUTES THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY AND SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER RESET THE COMPUTER. THE ACCELERATION PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND HAD OCCURRED ONCE AGAIN. THIS HAD OCCURRED THREE ADDITIONAL TIMES. THERE WERE REPAIRS DONE TO THE VEHICLE AND SHE IS STILL EXPERIENCING THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 30000.
TL* THE CONTACT PREVIOUSLY OWNED A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE IS A 5 SPEED AND IT HAD ACCELERATION PROBLEMS WITH A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN GEAR THE VEHICLE KEPT ACCELERATING. THE CONTACT NO LONGER OWNS THE VEHICLE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE18000.
I PURCHASED A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA IN MARCH 2008. SINCE THE PURCHASE I'VE HAD AN ISSUE OF A ROTTEN EGG SULFUR ODOR EMITTING FROM THE EMISSIONS EXHAUST SYSTEM AND INTO THE CAR CABIN. THE PROBLEM HAS KNOWN TO OCCUR WHILE ACCELERATING THE GAS PEDAL AND COMING TO AN IDLE OR STOP. IT OCCURS DURING TOWN DRIVING, INCLINES, HIGHWAYS SPEEDS, AND UPON STARTING VEHICLE. I HAVE RETURNED THE CAR TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES FOR THIS ISSUE. THE DEALER FROM WHOM I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE STATED THEY COULDN'T FIND OR DUPLICATE THE ISSUE. TOYOTA TECH PERFORMED EVALUATION OF COMPONENTS RELATED TO FUEL TRIM AND POSSIBLE RELATED PERFORMANCE. THE DEALER STATED THEY FOUND NO BULLETINS OR RELATED ISSUE WITH THE TOYOTA TECH DATA SYSTEM. I WAS ALSO INFORMED TO TRY ANOTHER BRAND OF GAS.. I TOOK THE CAR TO A SECOND DEALER AFTER DISCOVERING ENGINE CONSUMED 3 QUARTS OF OIL. THEY PERFORMED A TSB0145-08 2ZRFE ENGINE OIL CONSUMPTION REFLASH CONCERNING THE ECM. I WAS INFORMED THAT THIS MAY RESOLVE THE SULFUR ROTTEN EGG ODOR OR THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER NEEDED A BREAK-IN PERIOD. DURING THE WINTER OF 2010 THE ROTTEN EGG ODOR HAD BECOME WORSE. TO BE MORE SPECIFIC THE VEHICLE CABIN AREA FILLED WITH AN INTENSE ROTTEN EGG ODOR AFTER RESTARTING THE CAR UPON DRIVING UP AN INCLINE. I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR SERVICE WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT AND THEY PERFORMED A REPEATED TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN FOR EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. THEY STATED EXHAUST SYSTEM SEEMED OK.. TOYOTA RECOMMENDED A DIFFERENT GRADE OF GAS. I WAS INFORMED BY THE SERVICE ADVISOR THAT GASOLINE CONTAINS MORE SULPHITES IN THE WINTER AND MAY BE THE CAUSE.. SINCE PURCHASING THIS CAR I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A LYMPHOMA CANCER A YEAR LATER TO BE EXACT. THIS HAS BEEN AN ON GOING ISSUE. I'VE TRIED SEVERAL BRAND GASOLINES AND GRADES AS THEY RECOMMENDED. I'VE BEEN IN REMISSION FROM THE CANCER FOR A YEAR NOW AND NO LONGER DRIVING THE CAR FOR THE FEAR THAT THE CAR IS A HAZARD TO MY HEALTH. ALSO, I HAVE PRIOR LUNG CONDITION CALLED COPD. *TR
THERE IS A SWAY IN THE DRIVING OF THE CAR ON THE HIGHWAY. STAYING IN A LANE IS DIFFICULT. STEERING IS UNEASY. *TR
TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE RECEIVED MULTIPLE LETTERS FROM TOYOTA RE: AIR BAG RECALL OVER MONTHS AND MONTHS TIME. I HAVE CALLED TWO DEALERS IN THE INDIANAPOLIS AREA AND THE PARTS ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE. AS THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, IT SEEMS THAT THERE SHOULD BE MORE URGENCY BY THE CAR MANUFACTURER IN GETTING THE PROBLEM FIXED. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED NOT TO HAVE A FRONT SEAT PASSENGER, BUT THIS ADVICE AFTER SUCH A LONG TIME OF KNOWING THERE IS A PROBLEM, IS UNSATISFACTORY.

STEERING THE CAR AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS (OVER 55 MPH) IS DIFFICULT. FEELS LIKE SOMETHING IS TRYING TO PUSH THE CAR OUT OF THE DRIVE LANE. HAVE AN APPOINTMENT W/DEALERSHIP, BUT IN A PHONE CONVERSATION WAS TOLD BY SERVICE REP THAT IT WAS MY PROBLEM, NOT THE CAR AND THAT AN APPOINTMENT WAS NOT NECESSARY. REP (FORGOT NAME) STATED THAT PUTTING SAND BAGS IN TRUNK WOULD SOLVE PROBLEM. I HAVE REPLACED THE TIRES AND HAD THE ALIGNMENT CHECKED BUT THE SITUATION HAS NOT CHANGED. *TR
I OWN A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. I HAVE NOTICED MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE STEERING "WANDERING". WHEN WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE WE WERE TOLD ABOUT THE NEW ELECTRIC POWER STEERING. (2) ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING (EPS) - CAR SWAYS AND CANNOT STAY IN STRAIGHT LINE - NOTICEABLE ON A DAILY BASIS - DEALERSHIP TRIED TO CORRECT - STILL DRIFTING - COMPLAINED - DEALERSHIP CHANGED WHEELS/TIRES - SWAYING STILL EXISTS - DEALERSHIP SAID I JUST NEEDED TO "GET USE TO THE NEW EPS" (3) LOUD CABIN NOISE - CAR WAS ADVERTISED AS BEING QUIET - A LOT OF ROAD NOISE (4) RATTLING NOISE - MANIFOLD PAN BOLT FELL OUT - BOLT WAS REPLACED (5) INVOLUNTARY ACCELERATION - ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS REPLACED AFTER "REINFORCEMENT FIX" DID NOT WORK. I BOUGHT A 2009 COROLLA IN APRIL OF 2008. SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE I NOTICED THE STEERING FELT FUNNY BUT I HAD NEVER OWNED A TOYOTA BEFORE AND THOUGHT IT MAY JUST BE SOMETHING I WOULD HAVE TO GET USED TO. BUT THE PROBLEM JUST CONTINUES TO WORSEN ESPECIALLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. I CONSTANTLY FIND MYSELF GRIPPING THE STEERING WHEEL SO TIGHT THAT MY ARMS AND HANDS START CRAMPING UP BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT DIRECTION THE CAR IS GOING TO DECIDE TO TAKE YOU. STEERING THE CAR BECOMES VERY STRESSFUL. YOU CAN HOLD THE WHEEL AS STRAIGHT AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN AND THE CAR WILL WEAVE ALL OVER THE ROAD. I FEEL VERY UNSAFE IN THIS CAR AND I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER AS THIS IS HER PRIMARY TRANSPORTATION. I KNOW THIS PROBLEM IS NOT RELATED TO TIRES OR THE VEHICLE BEING OUT OF ALIGNMENT BECAUSE THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN THERE FROM THE BEGINNING AND SINCE I HAVE REPLACED THE TIRES AND HAD THE CAR REALIGNED AND NOTHING CHANGED. I OWN A COLLISION REPAIR FACILITY I'M NOT STUPID LIKE TOYOTA WOULD HAVE US BELIEVE. ALSO THIS IS THE THIRD MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN WITH THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE FIRST BRAKES THEN ACCELERATOR (OF WHICH MY WIFE HAD HER FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH ABOUT A WEEK AFTER WE TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND HAD THE RECALL WORK DONE GUESS IT STILL ISN'T FIXED) NOW YOU DON'T KNOW WHETHER YOU CAN KEEP THE CAR IN THE LANE. I TOOK A CHANCE ON A TOYOTA BECAUSE THEY HAD ALWAYS BEEN RELIABLE AND THE VEHICLES SEEMED TO LAST AND NOW I FULLY REGRET STEPPING FOOT ON THE LOT AND ONCE THIS IS RESOLVED I NEVER WILL AGAIN I CAN NEVER TRUST A COMPANY AGAIN THAT WOULD LIE TO ME ABOUT SAFETY ISSUES. NOW THERE IS NO WAY POSSIBLE TO GET RID OF IT BECAUSE THESE PROBLEMS HAVE DESTROYED THE VALUE OF THE CAR. TOYOTA NEEDS TO BUY THIS CAR BACK AND DISSOLVE THE CONTRACT THAT THEY ARE IN BREACH OF. I BOUGHT A CAR BASED ON QUALITY AND SAFETY AND WAS GIVEN A DEATH TRAP. MY 1995 SUBURBAN IS EASIER TO KEEP ON THE ROAD. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. SHE NOTICED THAT WHENEVER SHE ADDED FUEL TO THE GAS TANK, THE FUEL GAUGE DIDN'T REGISTER THAT IT WAS FULL. THE COMPUTER CHIP FAILED TO REGISTER THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF FUEL THAT WAS IN THE VEHICLE. SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY DID NOT LOCATE A FAILURE AND SHE SHOULD AVOID ADDING FUEL TO IT'S CAPACITY. I PURCHASED A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA S MODEL ON MARCH 23, 2008. SINCE I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE I HAVE NOTICED THAT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO KEEP THE CAR MOVING STRAIGHT DOWN THE ROAD. FOR SOME REASON THERE IS A LOT OF "EXTRA PLAY" IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHICH FORCES THE DRIVER TO CONTINUALLY MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL LEFT AND RIGHT TO KEEP THE CAR GOING STRAIGHT. THIS IS THE 3RD COROLLA I HAVE OWNED IN MY LIFETIME AND I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE LIKE THIS. IT SEEMS THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A FAULTY DESIGN PLAN USED WHEN TOYOTA MANUFACTURED THIS NEW MODEL VEHICLE. I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW TOYOTA COROLLA 2009. SINCE THE DATE THE CAR WAS TAKEN FROM THE DEALER, THE PASSENGER SEAT KEEPS SINKING LOWER WITHOUT TOUCHING ANYTHING. 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA CAR SUDDENLY LURCHED*CW THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE PULLING INTO A VACANT PARKING SPACE, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY LURCHED FORWARD AT FULL THROTTLE PUSHING HIM BACK INTO THE SEAT FROM THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION. EVEN THOUGH, HE TRIED TO REACT QUICKLY, THE VEHICLE HIT A CURB THEN WENT OVER THE CURB AND TRAVELED 3 FEET BEYOND BEFORE HE WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE BY PUTTING THE GEAR INTO NEUTRAL AND HARD BRAKING. THE CONSUMER EXITED THE VEHICLE TO CHECK FOR DAMAGE, BUT THERE WASN'T ANY. HE NOTICED THAT THE REVVED ENGINE WAS IDLING AT A NORMAL SPEED. THE CONSUMER DIDN'T BELIEVE WHAT HE EXPERIENCED WAS AN ACCELERATOR ISSUE, RATHER A PROBLEM WITH THE MPU AND CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR THE FUEL AND AIR MIXTURE. *JB
