TAKATA RECALL. RECALL STATES THAT VEHICLE WILL BE REPAIRED AT NO COST TO CONSUMER, DEALERSHIP WILL NOT GIVE ME RIDE HOME OR LOANER AND STATES THAT IT IS A 4.5 HOUR JOB BUT I MUST LEAVE ALL DAY. MY TRUCK WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH AT APPROX 55 MPH TRUCK HIT CENTER MEDIAN WALL HEAD ON, DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG NEVER DEPLOYED. PASSENGER SIDE DID DEPLOY. PASSENGER SIDE WAS PART OF RECALL THAT WAS INSPECTED AND CORRECTED.

THE SPIRAL CABLE IN THE STEERING WHEEL FAILED AND CAUSED THE AIR BAG SYSTEM TO FAIL.
I HAVE A NOTICE FOR REVISION "SAFETY RECALL DSF". THE RECALL SAYS I NEED TO BRING IN FOR AIR BAG REPLACMENT FOR PASSANGER FRONT SEATS. SO AUGUST 31,2015 I TOOK MY SEQUOIA TO TOYOTA OF KNOXVILLE TN. OFF OF PARKSIDE DR. IT WAS LOOKED OVER AND I WAS TOLD THEY NEEDED TO ORDER PARTS AND I WOULD BE CALLED FOR THE REPAIRS ONCE THE PARTS CAME IN TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. IT IS NOW MAY 23,2016 AND I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED FOR REPAIRS TO BE COMPLETED. ALSO THE TRAC CONTROL BUTTON STOPPED WORKING AND LIGHTS ON THE DASH. WAS THERE A RECAL FOR THIS ALSO?
