TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 TOYOTA SEQUOIA EQUIPPED WITH HANKOOK DYNAPRO 110S TIRES, SIZE P265/65/R17. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE CHANGING HIS BRAKES, HE NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER, FRONT DRIVER, AND THE REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRES ALL HAD SEPARATED SIDEWALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE BUT ADVISED THE CONTACT TO REPLACE ALL TIRES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE DOT WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 160,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 TOYOTA SEQUOIA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, HE NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EXHIBITNG AN ABNORMAL NOISE AS IF HE WERE DRIVING ON A FLAT TIRE. AFTER PULLING OVER, HE NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE WAS SEPARATED FROM THE VEHICLE DUE TO A BROKEN LUG NUT. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THEY ADVISED HIM THAT HE WOULD NEED TO INSTALL STUDS ON THE ROTORS AND REPLACE THE LUG NUTS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WAS APPROXIMATELY 86,000. UPDATED 05/25/11 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE WRONG LUG UTS WERE INSTALLED ON THE VEHICLE. UPATED 06/03/11

SUBSTANDARD TIRES ON 2003 TOYOTA SEQUOIA. *MR THE VEHICLE DISPLAYED A ROUGH FEEL WHILE IN MOTION. THE TIRES WERE SAID TO BE DEFECTIVE. ALL FOUR TIRES WERE REPLACED BY THE DEALER WITH DUNLOP GRANDTEK AT20 TIRES. THERE WAS UNEVEN TIRE WEAR IN THE INNER AND OUTER TREAD WEARING AT A FASTER RATE THAN THE CENTER OF ALL THE TIRES. ALL OF THE TIRES WERE CLOSE TO REACHING THE WEAR BAR ON THE INNER AND OUTER EDGE OF THE TIRE. THE CONSUMER FELT THAT THE TIRES WEREN'T ADEQUATE FOR THE SIZE AND WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE. *SC *JB
