I HAVE A 2001 VOLVO S60 WITH A FUEL LEAK ON TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY. *TR
FUEL TANK OVERFLOWS BEFORE TANK IS FULL AND SPILLS FUEL ON DRVIER AND GROUND. HAPPENS CONSTANTLY EACH TIME I TRY TO FILL THE TANK. BOUGHT THE VEHICLE WITH THE PROBLEM, BUT I WAS NOT APPRISED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER. CHECKED THE INTERNET AND THE PROBLEM IS VERY COMMON AMONG VOLVO VEHICLES, ESPECIALLY THIS MODEL. VOLVO REFUSES TO ISSUE A RECALL AND INSTEAD WANTS CUSTOMERS TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR. *TT
LOWER BRAKE LIGHTS FAIL WHILE UPPER REAR WINDSHIELD LIGHT CONTINUES TO WORK. HAD THIS WORK DONE ONCE IN 2005 TO CORRECT THE WIRING SITUATION AND NOW IT IS HAVING TO BE DONE AGAIN. I FEEL THIS IS COMPLETELY DANGEROUS FOR BOTH BRAKE LIGHTS TO FAIL AT THE SAME TIME. READING ONLINE FORUMS HAS LED ME TO BELIEVE THIS IS A WIDESPREAD ISSUE WITH THE 2001 VOLVO S60. *TR
TRANSMISSION FAILURE AT 94K MILES. CAR LOST POWER BARELY MAKING IT THROUGH AN INTERSECTION. INTERNET RESEARCH INDICATES THIS IS A COMMON FAILURE AMONG VOLVO S60. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 VOLVO S60. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN A RESIDENTIAL GARAGE WHEN THE CONTACT SMELLED A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE FUEL FROM THE EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS MOVED TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION DUE TO THE SAFETY HAZARD. THE AUTHORIZED DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND THEY REFUSED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 09V483000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE: DELIVERY: FUEL PUMP). THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE EXCEEDED THE MILEAGE SPECIFIED IN THE RECALL. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ONE YEAR AGO FOR A RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH THE FUEL PUMP UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07V152000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP) AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AT THAT TIME BECAUSE THE DEFECT WAS NOT PRESENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 175,000.
I HAD AN OIL CHANGE AND SOON THEREAFTER, I NOTICED THAT THE CAR HAS A STRONG SMELL OF GASOLINE. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR A WEEK AND I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR. THIS IS MY ONLY CAR AND I NEED TO KNOW IF THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS SINCE THERE SEEM TO BE A GOOD NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS. *TR
2001 VOLVO S60. CONSUMER REQUESTS REIMBURSEMENT FOR RECALL REPAIRS. *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING FUEL AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP. *JB
I ACTIVATED THE DRIVER SEAT HEATER COMPONENT ON MY 2001 VOLVO S60 DURING A COLD MORNING. APPROXIMATELY 15 TO 20 MINUTES LATER, I SMELLED SOMETHING BURNING AND FELT A BURNING SENSATION TO MY LEFT OUTER THIGH AREA. I TURNED THE DRIVER SEAT HEATER OFF AND THE BURNING STOPPED. ON STOPPING MY VEHICLE, I EXAMINED THE SEAT AND FOUND A SMALL HOLE BURNED IN THE SEAT WHERE I FELT THE BURNING SENSATION. I PHOTOGRAPHED THE BURNED HOLE IN THE LEATHER SEAT. I RESEARCHED THE INTERNET AND FOUND THIS TO HAVE OCCURRED IN OTHER VOLVO VEHICLES. I HAVE NOT USED THE SEAT HEATER FOR FEAR THAT IT MAY CAUSE A FIRE. *TR
I HAVE A 2001 S60 VOLVO, WITH 190,000 MILES ON IT. FUEL HAS BEEN LEAKING FROM THE REAR OF VEHICLE. I FOUND OUT THAT VOLVO HAS A RECALL ON THE PROBLEM-- NHTSA(09V483000). THE LOCAL DEALER SAID THE CAR WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE THE CRACKED FUEL PUMP HOUSING UNDER THIS RECALL. IS THERE A TIME LIMIT OR MILES LIMIT ON A SAFETY RECALL.*4/28/2010 CW
2001 VOLVO S60 - GAS LEAK FROM ABOVE THE FUEL TANK. STRONG GAS ODOR, DISCOVERED FUEL DRIPPING DOWN SIDE OF TANK UNDER VEHICLE ON PASSENGER'S SIDE. DROVE FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS OR MORE BEFORE I FIGURED OUT IT WAS MY CAR THAT CREATING THAT GAS SMELL AT LIGHTS (ONLY NOTICED WHEN WINDOW WAS DOWN). UNTIL VEHICLE BEGAN LEAKING A LOT OF GAS AND ODOR WAS OVER POWERING. WAS TOLD VOLVO'S "EXTENDED WARRANTY" WOULD NOT COVER THE DEFECTIVE FUEL PUMP BECAUSE THE "EXTENDED WARRANTY" WAS ONLY FOR 10 YEARS OR 150,000 MILES. HAD VEHICLE REPAIRED AT MY EXPENSE. ONE DAY AFTER REPAIR AN EVEN WORSE GAS LEAK APPEARED UNDER VEHICLE ON DRIVER'S SIDE ABOVE REAR GAS TANK. NOT RESOLVED AS OF DATE OF COMPLAINT. PUDDLE OF GAS UNDER VEHICLE. GAS ODOR STRONG REALLY AFRAID TO DRIVE IT BACK TO THE MECHANIC. ADDITIONAL COMPLAINT: INTERMITTENT LURCHING OR SURGING OF SAME VOLVO S60 AT LOW SPEEDS SHORTLY AFTER STARTING. IT LUNGES FORWARD AND THEN PULLS BACK WITH NO DEPRESSING OF ACCELERATOR. IT IS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION SO THE LURCHING IS VERY ALARMING CONSIDERING NO ADDITIONAL DEPRESSION OF THE ACCELERATOR IS HAPPENING WHEN IT RANDOMLY LUNGES FORWARD. USUALLY STOPS LUNGING AFTER 10 MINUTES OF DRIVING. *TR
DRIVING 2001 VOLVO S60 2.4T AT 30 MPH, STEPPED BRAKES AND THEY LOCKED UP (CAR HAS ABS) CAUSING COMPLETE LOSS OF CONTROL. WENT INTO SPIN AND CRASHED OVER CURB, BREAKING BOTH PASSENGER SIDE RIMS AND GAUGING REAR TIRE. HAD TO BE TOWED; ONE WEEK LATER, CAR STILL IN SHOP. I BEGAN NOTICING A STRONG GASOLINE ODOR IN MY GARAGE. SINCE NO FUEL IS STORED THERE I KNEW IT WAS COMING FROM MY VEHICLE, A 2001 VOLVO S60. I TRIED TO IDENTIFY A LEAK SOURCE BUT WAS UNABLE TO DO SO. THE GAS SMELL IS STRONGEST AT THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT WHEEL WELL. I AM CONCERNED THAT AT SOME POINT A FIRE MAY RESULT. I TOOK THE CAR IN TO A LOCAL SHOP AND HAD IT UP ON A LIFT. NEITHER THE TECH NOR I WAS ABLE TO ID A LEAK, BUT I AM STILL HAVING THE STRONG GAS ODOR. *TR

TURNED OFF VEHICLE AND DID VISUAL AND TACTILE SURVEY OF THROTTLE PEDAL AREA. RESTARTED VEHICLE AND PROBLEM DISAPPEARED. COULD HAVE BEEN VERY SERIOUS SITUATION HAD VEHICLE BEEN AT SPEED. *TR
I WAS PLANNING TO GO INTO WORK A BIT LATER THAN USUAL SO I LOADED UP MY TWO YOUNGEST BOYS INTO THE CAR FOR MY WIFE, AFTER SHE PULLED OUT I NOTICED NUMEROUS WET SPOTS ON MY CARPORT, THERE IS ENOUGH TREE POLLEN ON THE CARPORT THAT IT HOLDS THE FUEL EVIDENTLY FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. UPON SEEING THE SPOTS ON THE CARPORT I RAN MY FINGER THROUGH THE AREA AND BEFORE I HAD MY HAND WITHIN A FOOT OF MY NOSE I COULD CLEARLY IDENTIFY THE SMELL. I NORMALLY LEAVE FOR WORK HOURS BEFORE MY WIFE AND KIDS DEPART FOR SCHOOL AND I NORMALLY ARRIVE HOURS AFTER THEY ARE HOME, IT HAS TAKEN ME A WHILE TO NOTICE THE PROBLEM AND DISCOVER THE SOURCE. OUR CARPORT IS OPEN ON THREE SIDES, IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS WE HAVE NOTICED A VERY STRONG GASOLINE SMELL, I THOUGHT IT WAS FROM A GAS CAN I KEPT NEARBY. AFTER REMOVAL OF THE GAS CAN WE CONTINUED TO SMELL THE GASOLINE, IT IS SO STRONG THAT EVEN IN AN OPEN AREA IT WILL ACTUALLY MAKE YOU NAUSEOUS WITHIN MINUTES. I QUESTIONED MY WIFE ABOUT HER GAS MILEAGE AND ANY OUT OF THE ORDINARY PERFORMANCE IN THE CARE LATELY, SHE STATED THAT THE GAS MILEAGE HAS DECREASED SEVERELY IN THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS AND THE CAR RUNS VERY ROUGH AS FAR AS IDLING AND ACCELERATION. I USED A FLOOR JACK TO RAISE THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR AND DISCOVERED THAT THE GAS TANK HAS A LEAK ON THE TOP OF IT OR THE OUTLET FUEL LINE ABOVE THE TANK HAS A LEAK. NORMALLY THE CAR CAN BE DRIVEN BY MY WIFE FOR HER DAY TO DAY PURPOSES FOR TWO WEEKS ON A FULL TANK NOW IT WILL NOT MAKE ONE FULL WEEK. THERE HAS BEEN NO INCIDENT WHERE ANYONE WAS SERIOUSLY HURT BUT I BELIEVE THAT THE AMOUNT OF FUEL LEAKING COULD BE A FATAL DEFECT AT SOME POINT IF NOT DISCOVERED AND REPAIRED PROPERLY. I DID SOME INVESTIGATING ON THE INTERNET AND DISCOVERED THE FILING AND RECALL IN ARIZONA AND NEVADA ID # 07V152000. I HAVE TO WONDER WHO DECIDED THAT THESE TWO STATES WERE THE ONLY ONE'S HOT ENOUGH TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM? I HAVE TAKEN NUMEROUS PICTURES AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO SUPPLY THEM IF NECESSARY. THANK YOU *TR
2001 VOLVO S60 T5 AFTER ABOUT 30 MILES OF HIGHWAY DRIVING, I CAME TO A STOP DUE TO TRAFFIC. WHEN TRAFFIC STARTED MOVING, I NOTICED JERKING AND HARD SHIFTING. THE TRANSMISSION SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR WENT INTO LIMP MODE. I EVENTUALLY HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT IT NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION FOR 4000.00. THE 2001 S60 TRANSMISSION ISSUE IS VERY COMMON AND SHOULD BE REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE BY VOLVO. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 VOLVO S60. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE MODULE WAS DEFECTIVE, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SURGE ABNORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WOULD ALSO STALL INTERMITTENTLY AND EXHIBIT AN ABNORMAL INCREASE IN ENGINE RPMS. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE BOTH NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 105,000.

2001 VOLVO S60 HAS INTERMITTENT SURGING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. AT IDLE, ENGINE RPM DROPS BELOW 500 AND NEARLY DIES. *TR
I DRIVE A 2001 VOLVO S60. I PURCHASED IT NEW IN 2002. IT HAS A TOTAL OF 35,000 MILES. I DRIVE THE CAR SHORT DISTANCES AND IN TOWN ONLY. IT STARTED GIVING ME PROBLEMS A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO WITH JERKING FORWARD. THE "TRANSMISSION REQUIRED" "CHECK ENGINE" MESSAGES CAME ON TODAY. I IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT IT TO A VOLVO DEALER WHO COULD NOT EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT THE PROBLEM IS UNTIL AFTER THEY PERFORM A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AT A COST $122.00. I FELT THAT I HAD NO OTHER RECOURSE BUT TO LEAVE IT WITH THEM. I DON'T FEEL THAT MY CAR SHOULD EXPERIENCE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS SINCE THE CAR IS ONLY 7 YEARS OLD AND IS NOT DRIVEN FOR LONG DISTANCES. WHILE STOPPING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT, I NOTICED ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS ON THE LOWER RIGHT SIDE OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CAME ON AND IMMEDIATELY WENT OFF, NO OTHER INDICATIONS. WHILE WAITING AT THE LIGHT, EVERYTHING APPEARED NORMAL. WHEN THE LIGHT CHANGED TO GREEN, I PUSHED ON THE GAS PEDAL TO PULL AWAY AND NOTHING HAPPENED. THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE AT ALL. NO LIGHTS WERE ON. I PUSHED TO GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR AND BACK UP AND THEN HALF WAY DOWN, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WORKED. IT WOULD NOT GO ANY FASTER THAN IDLE. NO INCREASE IN RPM'S AT ALL, NO MATTER WHAT POSITION THE GAS PEDAL WAS IN. I'M IN THE FAST LANE AT RUSH HOUR AND COULD ONLY GO ABOUT 4 MILES PER HOUR. I MANAGED TO WORK MY WAY OVER THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND PULL INTO A PARKING LOT. I STOPPED AND PUT THE CAR INTO PARK. I HEARD A "CLICK" AS IF A RELAY WAS RESET. I THEN PUT THE CAR INTO REVERSE AND IT SEEMED TO WORK. I PUT IT IN DRIVE AGAIN AND EVERYTHING APPEARED TO WORK OKAY AFTER THAT. I TOOK IT TO TURNER VOLVO, HERE IN SACRAMENTO, CA AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND THERE WEREN'T ANY CODES IN THE COMPUTER SO THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. THIS WAS AN "EXTREMELY" DANGEROUS SITUATION AND COULD HAVE CAUSED A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT, MADE WORSE BY THE FACT THAT MY 5 YEAR OLD NIECE WAS WITH ME AT THE TIME THIS HAPPENED. WE COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED AND TURNER VOLVO SAYS THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO. WELL TURNER, THANKS FOR NOTHING AND FOR TAKING OUR LIVES SO LIGHTLY. MAYBE SOMEDAY A MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY WILL BE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT CAUSED BY THIS PROBLEM AND THEN WE'LL SEE WHAT YOU THINK. THE CAR WOULD SUDDENLY CEASE TO ACCELERATE NOT GOING OVER TWENTY MILES PER HOUR. THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO THE VOLVO DEALERSHIP WHERE THE EMT WAS CLEANED. UNDER AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. 10 DAYS LATER THE CAR WITHOUT WARNING WENT INTO THE 'LIMP HOME MODE AGAIN" THE CAR WAS RETURNED TO VOLVO THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT AND THE ETM WAS NOT THE PROBLEM THIS PART WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND WOULD COST OVER $2,000 TO REPLACE OR I COULD TRADE IN THE CAR. I FEEL THAT THIS TOO SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF SINE THE ECM DIRECTS THE ACTIVITY OF THE ETM AND WAS NOT INITIALLY IDENTIFIED AS THE PROBLEM IF THIS DOES NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM SOMEONE COULD BE SERIOUSLY INJURED WHEN TRYING TO MERGE ONTO THE FREEWAY OR CROSSING INTERSECTIONS. *TR
IN VOLVO 2001 S60 T5. THE CAR SOMETIMES STOP ACCELERATING FOR SECONDS, AND THEN SUDDENLY IT CLICKS WITH A JOLT AFTER ABOUT A SECOND AND THE CAR LURCHES FORWARD. THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE HAPPENING WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH THE VALVE BODY AS THE DEALER AND ANOTHER MECHANIC SUGGESTED (TRANSMISSION PART). THIS REQUIRE REPLACEMENT OF TRANS. VALVE BODY, SEALING KIT AND TCM UPGRADE. THEN TRANS OIL FLUSH. A TOTAL COST OF $2488 QUOTED FROM GALPIN VOLVO VAN NUYS CALIFORNIA. MY DAUGHTER WAS IN A FRONTAL COLLISION WITH ANOTHER CAR (2001 VOLVO S60), THERE WERE NO OTHER PASSENGERS. MOST OF THE DAMAGE WAS TO THE FRONT LEFT OF HER CAR; HOWEVER, ONLY THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYED. HER SPEED BEFORE BREAKING WAS ~50 MPH; THE CAR WAS TOTALED. ALTHOUGH MY DAUGHTER WAS NOT SERIOUSLY INJURED I CONSIDER THIS A SAFETY ISSUE SINCE THE VELOCITY WAS GREAT ENOUGH FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOY. ADDITIONALLY, THE SIDE CURTAINS DID NOT DEPLOY. I HAD SLIGHT JERKING AND SLIPPING DURING RECENT TWO YEARS. BUT SINCE THIS MONTH (AUG. 2008), MY 2001 S60 T5 BECOMES WORSE WITH FREQUENT JERKING AND SLIPPING DURING TRAFFIC AND ACCELERATING FROM A STOP. DRIVING WITH THOSE SYMPTOMS IS VERY DANGEROUS. VISITED DEALER SHOP FOR SEVERAL TIMES, THE SUGGESTIONS WERE ALWAYS NEW TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT WHICH COST OVER $4,000. I WAS ALSO TOLD MANY S60 2001 AND LATER HAVE THE SIMILAR PROBLEMS. I THINK THE VOLVO BUILDER MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SAFETY RELATED BAD PART MANUFACTURER ISSUE. *TR
IN OCTOBER 2007, I INQUIRED OF FIELDS VOLVO OF WAUKESHA WISCONSIN, ABOUT A MALFUNCTIONING TEMPERATURE GAGE. THE GAGE WOULD OFTEN DISPLAY A FAULTY READING, SHOWING THAT THE CAR WAS OVERHEATING WHEN IN FACT IT WAS NOT. WHEN I BOUGHT MY CAR IN FOR AN INSPECTION OF THE MATTER, JASON FISCHER SERVICE ADVISOR, INFORMED ME THAT I NEEDED AN ELECTRONICS BO ( SEE ATTACHED RECEIPT). HE ASSURED ME THAT WAS THE PROBLEM, SO I AGREED TO ALLOW HIM TO REPLACE IT AND WAS CHARGED $537.15 FOR THE PROCEDURE. HOWEVER, A YEAR LATER IN JULY 2008, THE PROBLEM RESURFACED. EVENTUALLY, THE COOLING FAN MALFUNCTIONED AND WOULD NOT SHUT OFF. THIS PROBLEM ALSO CAUSED THE BATTERY TO DRAIN. I TOOK MY CAR TO AUTO WERKS IMPORT CENTRE IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN, WHO THROUGH RESEARCH OF THE PROBLEM, FOUND THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ISSUED FOR THE COOLING FAN IN NOVEMBER 2004. I WAS ALSO CHARGED $200.53 FOR REPLACEMENT OF A TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND THE THERMOSTAT. (SEE ATTACHED RECEIPT) AS A SATISFIED VOLVO CUSTOMER FOR OVER 10 YEARS, I FEEL THAT HAD THOROUGH RESEARCH BEEN DONE PRIOR TO MALFUNCTIONING OF THE COOLING FAN, EXCESS CHARGES COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. I AM THEREFORE SEEKING A PARTIAL REFUND OF MAINTENANCE CHARGES. YOUR IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO MY REQUEST WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED. *TR

HOWEVER, THE ISSUE REOCCURRED SHORTLY AFTER. SHE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS TOLD THAT SHE DID INDEED HAVE A FAULTY TRANSMISSION BUT WOULD NOT OFFER ANYTHING OTHER THAN A 10% COST REDUCTION ON THE SOFTWARE UPGRADE REPAIR. THERE HAD BEEN NO FURTHER REPAIRS MADE TO THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 137,000. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.

I LOOKED AT THE FUEL PUMP MYSELF AND IT IS CRACKED. I CONTACTED VOLVO AND THEY SAID SINCE I DON'T LIVE IN NEVADA OR ARIZONA I'M NOT COVERED, THEN THEY STATED ITS BECAUSE OF THE HEAT. THEN I TOLD THEM I LIVE IN FLORIDA ITS HOT HERE TOO. THEN THEY SAID IT HAS TO DO WITH THE SULFUR CONTENT IN THE GAS. AFTER CONTACTING BOTH THE FLORIDA EPA AND THE ARIZONA EPA I FOUND THAT THE SULFUR CONTENT IN PPM IS IDENTICAL. I PRESENTED THIS INFORMATION TO GAINESVILLE VOLVO AND VOLVO OF AMERICA. I THINK THAT AS A CONSUMER I SHOULD BE PROTECTED NOT ONLY THAT, BUT WHAT IS VOLVO WAITING TO WARN PEOPLE OF THIS DEFFECT. THIS IS A DEADLY SITUATION DO NOT WAIT UNTIL SOMEBODY DIES FOR YOU TO TAKE ACTION, THE FIRE AND GAS INHALATION ARE CATASTROPHIC.
