TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THERE WAS A PASSENGER SEATED IN THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SEAT, THE PASSENGER AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAT MOUNTED SIDE IMPACT AIR BAG WIRING HARNESS WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 127,000. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED.
PASSENGER AIRBAG SENSOR DOES NOT WORK WITH PASSENGER SITTING IN SEAT AT ANY TIME.
TAKATA RECALL POWER STEERING PUMP IS BAD AND ALL IT DOES IT HUM
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTIONED AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WAS STUCK AT 3,500 RPMS AND THE VEHICLE SMELLED OF SMOKE AND BURNT METAL. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AND STOPPED THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND DRIVE AWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE REPAIRED, BUT THE DEALER COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. A TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE WAS REPLACED BASED ON THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 90,000.
CAR WAS PARKED. WATER APPEARED TO BE COMING FROM SUNROOF AND RUNNING DOWN PILLARS WHICH FLOODED THE FRONT FLOORBOARDS.
SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL AND STABILIZER. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. AND NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. WHILE MAKING A RIGHT TURN, THERE WAS A CRACKING NOISE UNDERNEATH THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STOPPED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE FRONT STABILIZER BAR DETACHED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000.
THE BUICK DEALER IS SAYING THE TIMING CHAIN(S) IS SLIPPING AND NEEDS REPLACEMENT AND THAT THE HEADS AND OR CAMS MAY ALSO REQUIRE REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WENT INTO THE SHOP BECAUSE THE 2ND AND 5TH GEAR WAS NOT ENGAGING PROPERLY, THERE IS HESITATION IN THE TRANSMISSION/ENGINE. THE VEHICLE HAS 94,710 MILES. THE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY IS 5 YEARS OR 100,000 MILES. GM ISSUED AN EXTENDED WARRANTIES OF 10 YEARS AND 120,000 MILES FOR BOTH TRANSMISSION CLUTCH WAVE PLATE (3/5/R) AND FOR TIMING CHAIN SLIPPAGE. SO THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THEY HAVE THESE PROBLEMS WITH THE MATERIAL USED AND OR ENGINES. MY CONCERN IS THAT FOR THE TIMING CHAIN EXTENDED WARRANTY GM SKIPPED THE BUICK ENCLAVE 2008 YEAR MODEL AND COVER ONLY THE 2007 & 2009 YEAR MODELS AND THEY DO NOT WANT TO EXTEND THE COVERAGE TO COVER MY TIMING CHAIN REPLACEMENT. THIS IS NOT A NORMAL ROUTINE SERVICE ITEM PER THEIR BUICK ENCLAVE USER MANUAL. TIMING CHAIN SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR REPLACING THE TIMING CHAIN ON A VEHICLE WITH UNDER 100,000 MILES BECAUSE GM USED POORLY MANUFACTURED CHAINS. USUALLY METAL TIMING CHAINS LAST WELL BEYOND 100,000 MILES. I'VE NEVER REPLACED A CHAIN ON ANY OF MY VEHICLES PAST OR PRESENT. THIS IS A KNOWN DEFECT WITH THE GM TIMING CHAINS WHICH SHOULD BE COVERED. IF THE TIMING CHAINS BREAKS IT WILL CAUSE TREMENDOUS DAMAGE AND MAY CAUSE ME TO GET INTO A CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENT. PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT GOES ON AND OFF INTERMITTENTLY WITH A PASSENGER SITTING ON THIS SIDE. WARNING LIGHT SAYS TO SERVICE THE AIR BAG. THIS VEHICLE HAS NEVER HAD THE AIRBAGS DEPLOY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DOOR PANEL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 204,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

ON ANOTHER OCCASION, THE LIFTGATE FELL WHILE LOADING GROCERIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V415000 (STRUCTURE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,999.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. WHILE AT A STOP SIGN, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE SHIFTED INTO DIFFERENT GEARS FOR THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,827.
HAD AIRBAG RECALL DONE THEN LIGHT CAME BACK ON
WHEN IT RAINS, WATER LEAKS INSIDE OF MY VEHICLE. THE LEAK IS ON ALL PANELS, WETTING THE UPHOLSTERY ON THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE WINDOWS, AS WELL AS SURROUNDING THE SUNROOF. WATER LEAKS FROM THE SUNROOF AREA, REAR VIEW MIRROR, AND SIDE PANEL ONTO THE DRIVER WHILE DRIVING. I CONTACTED GM RECALLS, AND THEY ADVISED THERE IS NO RECALL RELATED TO THIS ISSUE ON MY VEHICLE. IT OCCURS DURING DRIVING AND WHEN THE VEHICLE IS SITTING IN THE RAIN.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, WHICH INDICATED THAT THE REAR DOOR WAS OPEN. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V415000 (STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE), BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO CLOSE THE DOOR MANUALLY, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SECOND ROW SEATS WERE NOT OPERABLE ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT NOTED THAT BOTH THE SECOND ROW DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS WERE NOT OPERABLE UPON PURCHASING THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE TECHNICIAN WAS ABLE TO REPAIR THE PASSENGER SIDE SEATS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SECOND ROW SEATS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 107,000.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AT 70000 MILES. BROUGHT INTO DEALER AND TOLD STRETCHED TIMING CHAIN. ALTHOUGH GM HAS AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON MANY OF THESE ENGINES IN THE ENCLAVE, I WAS TOLD THAT MINE WAS NOT A PART OF THE QUALIFIED BATCH FOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AND THAT ALL COSTS WOULD BE OUT OF POCKET. I AM CURRENTLY STUCK WITH A VEHICLE THAT NEEDS OVER $3500 IN REPAIRS ON A KNOWN ISSUE FOR THIS ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WILL NOT PASS NEEDED EMISSIONS TESTING AND IS AS SUCH UNDRIVABLE.
CENTRAL LOCKING HAS FAILED RESULTING IN PERSONS BEING LOCKED IN THE CAR. ALL BUTTONS AND FOBS STILL SEEM TO ILLICIT LIGHTS AND BEEPING ETC. BUT THE DOORS WILL NOT LOCK OR MORE IMPORTANTLY UNLOCK. THE PLUNGER ON THE DRIVER DOOR COULD NOT EVEN BE PULLED UP MANUALLY. THIS IS ABOUT A DANGEROUS AS A FAILURE CAN GET. I'M PRETTY CLEVER BUT THIS IS NOT SOMETHING I'M GOING TO ABLE TO FIX.
I OWN A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE WHICH WAS PARKED STATIONARY IN MY DRIVEWAY ON MARCH 24TH 2016. AS I EXITED MY HOME AND ATTEMPTED TO UNLOCK MY VEHICLE I WAS SURPRISED BY A CLOUD OF SMOKE THAT WAS RELEASED BY THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG. IT HAD DEPLOYED FOR NO APPARENT REASON. DAMAGING THE DASH, RADIO, AND DESTROYING THE WINDSHIELD GLASS. I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED GM SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN WHICH THEY SENT OUT A TOW TRUCK TO REMOVE MY VEHICLE FROM MY PREMISES AND SHIPPED IT TO A ED RINKE CHEVROLET SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THEIR INVESTIGATOR CLAIMS THAT THERE WAS A PREVIOUS CRACK IN THE WINDSHIELD THAT CAUSED THE 12" OF STANDING WATER DAMAGE ON MY FLOORBOARDS AND IN THE AIRBAG SENSOR MODULE. THERE WAS NO CRACK... SO AFTER BEING INCONVENIENCED FOR ALMOST A MONTH, GM CLAIMS THAT THE WINDSHIELD WAS AN AFTERMARKET PRODUCT AND THAT THEY'VE GOT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DEPLOYMENT OR TOTALED VEHICLE DAMAGES. THE TRUCK WAS RETURNED TODAY APR. 19,2016 VERY INOPERABLE!
AIRBAG LIGHT ON PASSENGER SIDE INDICATES AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY. VEHICLE HAS BEEN BROUGHT IN TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS TO BE EVALUATED, EACH CLAIMING A DIFFERENT CODE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED, HOWEVER NO FIX HAS BEEN PERMANENT. VEHICLE HAD PREVIOUS RECALL (2011) ON AIRBAG SENSOR - FIX WAS NOT PERMANENT. MOST RECENT TIME, DEALERSHIP CLAIMS A SENSOR IN THE SEAT IS BAD AND WILL REQUIRE $1200 FIX DUE TO ITS LOCATION IN THE SEAT??? CODES B0074 & B0081 (INTERNAL FAULT IN PASSENGER PRESENCE MODULE) THERE IS NOT A TIME THAT THE AIRBAG ENGAGES - STILL OR MOVING. THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE WHILE WAS STILL IN WARRANTY AND BEYOND WARRANTY - GM REFUSES TO WORK WITH ME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SUN ROOF DEVELOPED A LEAK. THE INTERIOR UPHOLSTERY SUSTAINED DAMAGES AND WATER LEAKED INTO THE CENTER CONSOLE, WHICH CAUSED FAILURES TO THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED FOR THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DRAINAGE HOSES NEEDED TO BE CLEARED OF DEBRIS. THE DRAINAGE HOSES WERE CLEARED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 161,500.
THE DRIVER SIDE INSIDE DOOR HANDLE BROKE AWAY FROM THE MECHANISM. IN ORDER TO EXIT THE VEHICLE I HAD TO ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW AND USE THE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE. LOCKS, WINDOWS, AND EXTERIOR HANDLE WORK PROPERLY. I DROVE TO WORK AND IT WORKED FINE. WHEN I PARKED AND TRIED TO GET OUT IT WOULD NOT WORK. IT HAPPENED ORIGINALLY IN 10/2014. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME I HAD TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE DOOR, WHICH I COULD NOT AFFORD, SO THEY "JERRY-RIGGED" IT WITH A SCREW AND CHARGED ME $125.00 LABOR. IT HAS NOW HAPPENED AGAIN, AND ANOTHER DEALERSHIP SAID I CAN REPLACE THE INTERIOR MECHANISM FOR ABOUT $350. I CONTACTED BUICK CS REGARDING THE ISSUE, AND WAS TOLD THAT DUE TO THE AGE OF MY VEHICLE THEY COULD DO NOTHING. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. IN AN EMERGENCY, I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EXIT MY VEHICLE. AND AS A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY THIS IS A PRIMARY CONCERN. ON THE INTERNET, YOU CAN FIND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE BUICK ENCLAVE AND THE GMC ACADIA. THIS NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR POSSIBLE RECALL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT SWITCH GEARS BEYOND THE SECOND GEAR AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE BEYOND 30 MPH. IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WAVE PLATE INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION HAD MALFUNCTIONED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,000.
PURCHASED USED VEHICLE FROM DEALER FEB 2016. NOTICED VEHICLE LEAKS WHEN IT RAINS THROUGH THE SUNROOF, TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD AREA AND ALSO FROM THE DRIVERS SIDE FLOOR AREA, UNDER THE DASH TOWARD THE BRAKE PEDAL AREA. I'VE HAD MY DOME LIGHTS FILL WITH WATER, WATER LEAKING FROM THE DOME LIGHT AS WELL AS THE TOP WINDSHIELD AREA WHILE I DRIVE AND STATIONARY. THIS LEAKS ARE CONSISTENT WHENEVER IT RAINS, BOTH WHILE DRIVING AND WHILE STATIONARY. WHEN THIS LEAKING/RAIN OCCURS THE VEHICLE RUNS AND IDLES VERY ROUGH. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CONSISTENT SINCE THE VEHICLE PURCHASE. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED AND TEST DRIVEN IT WAS NOT RAINING, THEREFORE THE LEAK WAS UNDETECTED PRIOR TO PURCHASE. THE WATER CONTACTING THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS IS A FIRE SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY.
LIFT GATE STOPS AT UPPER LIFT POSITION AND STARTS TO CLOSE WITH OUT NOTICE. IF YOUR NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO FULL OPERATION OF LIFT GATE CAN COME DOWN STRICKING A PERSONS HEAD. SEEMS THAT AUTOMATION SAFEY FEATURE WOULD BE TO STAY OPEN !!! NOT CLOSE UNEXSPECTEDLY??
MY 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE HAD THE TRANSMISSION GO OUT AT AT 135,000 AS WE WERE TRAVELING HOME FROM MY PARENTS HOUSE AND LEFT US STRANDED ABOUT 60 MILES FROM HOME. AFTER THIS HAPPENED I LOOKED ONLINE AND SEEN THAT THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR OTHERS AS WELL. NOW AT 148,000 THE TIMING CHAIN IS STRETCHED AND CAUSED THE STABILITRACK AND TRACTION CONTROL WARNING TO COME ON AND OFF, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TRACTION CONTROL. THIS CAUSES THE TRACTION CONTROL TO STOP WORKING WHEN IT IS FEBURARY IN MINNESOTA AND STILL HAVE SNOW AND ICE.
THE AIR CONDITIONER DOES NOT WORK MOST OF THE TIME. ONCE IN A WHILE COLD AIR WILL COME OUT BUT THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. IT SEEMS TO HAVE STARTED WHEN MY CAR BATTERY DIED AND I HAD IT JUMPED TO START IT.
INDICATOR LIGHT SHOWS PASSENGER AIRBAG NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. DEALER SAID IT MAY NOT DEPLOY IN EVENT OF IMPACT. CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN ACCIDENT AND AIRBAG HAS NOT BEEN DEPLOYED PREVIOUSLY.

IN ADDITION, THE LIFTGATE AJAR WARNING INDICATOR FLASHED; HOWEVER, THE LIFTGATE WAS CLOSED AT THE TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V415000 (STRUCTURE), BUT THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RECALL REPAIR FAILED TO PROVIDE A PERMANENT REMEDY. SUDBAY CHEVROLET BUICK CADILLAC GMC (88 CAUSEWAY ST, GLOUCESTER, MA 01930, (978) 381-5097) DIAGNOSED THAT THE CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND STATED THAT FURTHER TESTING WAS REQUIRED TO DETERMINE IF ANY OTHER REPAIRS WERE NEEDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL INJECTOR NEEDED TO BE CLEANED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. MY VEHICLE WAS PURCHASE IN AUGUST OF 2014 AND I RECEIVED A LETTER A MONTH AGO SAYING TO BRING MY VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE OF THE POWER LIFT GATE BECAUSE OF A RECALL. WELL ABOUT TWO TO THREE DAYS LATER I STARTED TO EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS WITH MY VEHICLE SUCH AS A POPPING SOUND WHEN YOU UNLOCK THE DOORS, OPEN THE DOORS, TURN ON SIGNAL LIGHT OR RADIO...I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT COULD BE BUT GM WANTS TO CHARGE ME $125 DOLLARS JUST TO LOOK AT IT WHEN I BELIEVE THEY MESSED IT UP BECAUSE MY LIFT GATE IS MAKING NOISES AS WELL AND DID I MENTION MY RADIO DOES NOT WORK NOR DOES THE SIGNAL WHEN I BACK UP WORK...
MY CAR HAS LESS THAN 75K MILES ON IT AND BEEN MAITAINED VERY WELL! THE TRANSMISSION HAS GONE OUT AND I AM BEING TOLD THAT IT WILL COST 5K DOLLARS TO REPLACE DUE TO A WAVE PLATE ISSUE. WHAY HAS THIS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED WITH RECALL? IN ADDITION TO THAT THE STERRING HAS A TERRIBLE SOUND COMING FROM IT AND THIS IS NOT BEING DIAGNOSED RIGHT. CAR RUNS FINE, NO SLACK IN TIMING CHAIN WE CANNOT GET A PASSED INSPECTION DUE TO FAULTY CODES. 78,000 MILES ON VEHICLE. THIS IS COMMON PROBLEM AND GM NEEDS TO ADDRESS.

WATER LEAKING INTO THE VEHICLE WHENEVER IT RAINS. THIS HAPPENS WHENEVER THE VEHICLE IS NOT IN MOTION. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS SEVERAL TIMES BUT HAS NOT SOLVED THE PROBLEM. IT IS AFFECTING THE ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONALITY IN MY VEHICLE. DASH LIGHTS, RADIO FUNCTIONALITY ETC.
WHILE TRAVELING ON A FLORIDA INTERSTATE AT EXPRESS WAY SPEEDS, THE TRANSMISSION JUST QUIT FUNCTIONING. I HAD JUST GONE OVER THE TOP OF A BRIDGE, LET UP ON THE THROTTLE, THAN PRESSED DOWN AGAIN TO MAINTAIN SPEED. THE ENGINE INCREASED RPM'S BUT I CONTINUED TO SLOW DOWN. THIS WAS WITH HEAVY TRAFFIC ON MY SIDE AND BEHIND ME. WHEN I FOUND ROOM ENOUGH TO PULL OVER, I HAD SLOWED CONSIDERABLY CAUSING TRAFFIC TO SWERVE AROUND ME AND CAUSED PANIC BRAKING ON THEIR PART. BUICK MOTOR HAS A NOTICE OUT SAYING THEY WILL REPAIR AT NO CHARGE FOR 10 YEARS, OR 120,000 MILES. I HAD 124,276 MILES AND THEY HAVE REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME. I CONSIDER THIS FEATURE TO BE A SAFETY ISSUE, AS THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT BECAUSE I NO LONGER HAD ANY CONTROL IN ORDER TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN ON A MULTILANE EXPRESS WAY, AND YOU WERE IN ONE OF THE CENTER LANES WITH HEAVY TRAFFIC, THE RESULT COULD VERY EASILY BE ACCIDENT/DEATH. I BELIEVE BUICK SHOULD BE FORCED TO RECALL BEFORE SERIOUS THINGS HAPPEN. THEY SHOULD ALSO BE FORCED TO PAY FOR THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY HAD THE WORK DONE.
THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL IS MALFUNCTIONING. EVERY TIME I TURN, THE STABILITY CONTROL DISPLAYS DIFFERENT MESSAGES THAT BRAKES ARE NO FUNCTIONING, STABILITY CONTROL, CHECK ENGINE, ETC.

THE THROTTLE BODY ON SEVERAL GM VEHICLES HAS FAILED. I WAS DRIVING MY CAR DOWN THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT STARTED FLASHING, THEN THE ENGINE REDUCED POWER START LIGHT WENT ON, THEN THE CAR SPUTTERED, SLOWED DOWN AND WOULD NOT GO OVER 30 MPH. THIS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT WHEN DRIVING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED, THE VEHICLE SLOWS DOWN QUICKLY AND YOU CANNOT GET POWER TO MOVE OVER 30. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS AND IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH GM VEHICLES.

FIRST OF ALL THEY WEREN'T VERY WELCOMING BUT LONG STORY SHORT THEY SAID THAT ITS NOT A RECALL I HAVE TO PURCHASE THE ENTIRE MODULE WHICH WILL COST $1500 TO GET IT FIXED. I AM VERY CONFUSED. THEY SAID THE RECALL IS FOR PASSENGER SIDE PRESSURE SENSOR AND THEY ARE HAVING ME REPLACE THE ENTIRE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG MODULE.
