TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WERE VERY DIM. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO SEE THE ROAD AND HAD TO USED THE HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MASSEY CADILLAC ORLANDO NORTH (4241 N JOHN YOUNG PKWY, ORLANDO, FL 32804, (855) 934-7395) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT COMPONENTS ON BOTH SIDES NEEDED TO BE REMOVED TO BE ABLE TO REPLACE THE HEADLIGHTS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
I PURCHASED MY 2012 CADILLAC SRX4 NEW WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. ONE MONTH AFTER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY RAN OUT THE BRAKES STARTED GOING TO THE FLOOR AND I CAN BARELY STOP THE VEHICLE. SHOULD A CAR PULL OUT IN FRONT OF ME OR GOD FORBID A CHILD, I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STOP MY CAR IN TIME TO AVOID AND ACCIDENT. I TOOK MY VEHICLE INTO HUBER CADILLAC IN OMAHA, NE ON 10/14/2019 AS MY BRAKE PEDAL ONCE AGAIN WENT TO THE FLOOR MAKING WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A RUSHING OR AIR SOUND. THIS HAPPENED FOR SEVERAL MILES EVERY TIME I HAD TO COME TO A STOP. THEY COULD NOT DIAGNOSE A PROBLEM. THEY STATED THAT THEY ALSO DROVE THE VEHICLE AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. SHE, BEV BURGESS, ALSO ADVISED ME THAT SHE HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM AND THAT CADILLAC HAD NO BULLETINS PERTAINING TO ANY BRAKE PEDAL ISSUES. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU READ THE INTERNET AS THERE ARE AT LEAST 100 PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM AND SEVERAL WHO HAD CAR ACCIDENTS DUE TO THE ISSUE. SINCE HAVING MY CAR INTO THE DEALER TRYING TO HAVE IT FIXED, THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED THREE MORE TIMES. THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE SOLUTION TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO DRIVE YOUR VEHICLES THAT COULD AND HAVE CAUSED ACCIDENTS TO NO FAULT OF OUR OWN. I HAVE DONE ALL REQUIRED MAINTENANCE TO MY VEHICLE AND FEEL AS THOUGH I HAVE DONE MY DUE DILIGENT. I CANNOT SAY AS MUCH FOR CADILLAC. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.
WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT USING THE LOW BEAMS YOU CANT SEE ANYTHING, IT LIKE NOT EVEN HAVING THEM ON. REPLACED BULBS STILL THE SAME.
LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS HAVE DIMMED TO THE POINT OF HAVING TO USE THE HIGH BEAMS ALL THE TIME. UNDERSTAND THERE HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH THIS YEAR'S HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY WITH WATER ENTERING INSIDE AND DIMMING THE LAMPS. HAVE CONTACTED GM/CADILLAC AS THERE WAS A SERVICE BULLETIN ISSUED. WE WERE NEVER INFORMED OF PRIOR LITIGATION AND FEEL THAT THIS IS A SAFETY PROBLEM AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BY GM/CADILLAC. THANK YOU
THE HEADLIGHTS ON MY 2012 CADILLAC SRX ARE EXTREMELY DIM AND THE VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. THIS IS THE SAME ISSUE THAT OTHER DRIVERS THROUGHOUT THE U.S. HAVE EXPERIENCED WITH THIS MAKE AND MODEL CAR. SEE HTTPS://WWW.CARCOMPLAINTS.COM/NEWS/2019/CADILLAC-SRX-HEADLIGHT-RECALL-LAWSUIT.SHTML. I CURRENTLY HAVE THE CAR IN FOR SERVICE AND WAS QUOTED $1700 TO REPLACE BOTH HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES, WHICH I HAVE RELUCTANTLY AGREED TO PAY SINCE I HAVE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY GM HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM SINCE IT IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT. FORTUNATELY, I HAVE 2 VEHICLES SO I TRY TO AVOID DRIVING THE CADILLAC SRX AT NIGHT.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY VERY DIM, I THOUGHT THEY WERE BURNED OUT. THE BRIGHTS ARE FINE. THE CARE IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. WAS INFORMED BY DEALER THIS IS A COMMON COMPLAINT AND IT WOULD BE $1400 TO CORRECT THE ISSUE (REPLACE THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES NEW BULBS WILL NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE).
WITH HEADLIGHTS ON LOW BEAM UNABLE TO SEE .HAVE TO DRIVE VEHICLE WITH HIGH BEAMS ON VERY UNSAFE.HAVE DONE RESEARCH ON INTERNET HAVE FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS .
THE HEADLIGHTS ARE DIM.
AT FIRST, AFTER HAVING TO PRESS HARD ON THE BRAKES WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC, THE BRAKE PETAL WILL SINK TO THE FLOOR ANYTIME THE VEHICLE NEEDS TO BRAKE AFTERWARDS.THIS WOULD GO AWAY AFTER 8 HOURS OR SO. RECENTLY, THE VEHICLE DOES WHILE DRIVING IF IT GOES OVER A SPEED BUMP, POT HOLE, OR SOMETIMES FOR NO REASON AT ALL. THE PETAL SINKING WHILE BRAKING NOW LAST FOR SEVERAL DAYS UP TO WEEKS. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AS ONE DOESN'T KNOW HOW MUCH PRESSURE IS NEED TO STOP AT ANY GIVEN TIME. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE SHOP AND NOTHING HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE WRONG. BRAKES HAVE BEEN BLED, ROTORS AND PADS CHANGED AND THE CAR STILL DOES IT AT RANDOM TIMES.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS HAVE BECOME VERY DIM TO THE POINT THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT SAFELY AND CANNOT DRIVE AT ALL DURING RAIN AT NIGHT. CONTACTED LOCAL DEALER AND TOLD THE COST WOULD BE AT LEAST $1300 BECAUSE COMPLETE ASSEMBLY MUST BE REPLACED BECAUSE REPLACING BULB ONLY WILL NOT REPAIR PROBLEM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT FULLY STOP WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED TO THE FLOORBOARD. THE CONTACT ALMOST CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE DUE TO THE FAILURE. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC REPLACED THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER AND THE ABS MODULATOR VALVE ASSEMBLY. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,200.
I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT DRIVE MY SRX AT NIGHT THE DIM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM THAT I QUESTION WHETHER THEY ARE EVEN ON IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD NOT ONLY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY BUT ALSO THE OTHERS ON THE ROAD THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY , VERY DIM. HAVE REPLACED BOTH SIDES WITH NEW HALOGEN BULBS . RESULTS NO GOOD. THEN REPLACED WITH HID HEADLAMP SYSTEM. STILL HAVE DIM LIGHT DRIVING PROBLEM. I AM VERY TIRED OF REMOVING THE WHOLE FRONT CLIP TO REPLACE THE BULBS AND SO WAS WONDERING IF GM HAS A RECALL OF ANY SORT ON THE HEADLIGHT SYSTEM. VERY FRUSTRATING....BEAUTIFUL CAR, BUT YOU CAN'T DRIVE AFTER DUSK!!
LOW BEAMS ARE TOO DIM AND HAVE MOISTURE BUILD UP AND HAVE TO USE HIGH BEAMS TO DRIVE SAFLEY AT NIGHT
MY LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE EXTREMELY DIM. UPON DIAGNOSIS, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE WIRING OR THE BULBS BUT THERE IS A DEFECT WITH THE HEADLIGHTS ON THE 2010 TO 2015 CADILLAC SRX'S. IT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THE SEAL FAILS AND ALLOWS MOISTURE IN THE HEADLIGHT WHICH CAUSES A HAZE TO BUILD UP IN THE ENCLOSED LIGHT COVER WHICH IN TURN MAKES THE LIGHTS DIM. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE AT NIGHT BECAUSE I CAN'T EVEN TELL THAT THE LIGHTS ARE ON ESPECIALLY ON A DARK STREET OR HIGHWAY. WHEN I DID SOME RESEARCH AND SPOKE WITH GMC/CADILLAC I FOUND THAT GMC/CADILLAC HAS A RECALL ON THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY IN TWO STATES ONLY-CALIFORNIA AND FLORIDA EVEN THOUGH THE PROBLEM IS MORE THAN LIKELY NATIONWIDE. THERE IS ALSO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST CADILLAC/GMC FOR THIS DEFECT.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ON THIS CADILLAC SRX VEHICLE HAVE BECOME PROGRESSIVELY DIM TO THE POINT IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. THE HEADLIGHT BULBS HAVE BEEN REPLACED BUT THIS HAS NOT ALLEVIATED THE DEFICIENCY, WHICH RESEARCH HAS DISCLOSED IS A RESULT OF FAULTY HEADLIGHT DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE. GM/CADILLAC IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, AND HAS EVEN PAID FOR HEADLIGHT REPLACEMENT AS A RESULT OF CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT SETTLEMENTS, BUT THESE SETTLEMENTS HAVE BEEN STATE-BY-STATE AND HAVE NOT HELPED A MAJORITY OF OWNERS, INCLUDUNG ME. FLORIDA PURCHASERS RECEIVED HEADLIGHT REPLACEMENT ASSISTANCE. I LIVE IN FLORIDA BUT PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN CONNECTICUT AND THEREFORE RECEIVED NO ASSISTANCE, EVEN THOUGH MY VEHICLE IS JUST AS UNSAFE DRIVING IN FLORIDA AS THE ONES GM/CADILLAC PAID TO FIX. THE NIGHT LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT OUTPUT IS ABYSMALLY LOW, TO THE POINT THAT THE HEADLIGHTS FROM FOLLOWING CARS PROVIDE MORE ILLUMINATION THAN MY VEHICLE'S OWN HEADLIGHTS. USING HIGH BEAMS IS BENEFICIAL WHEN THERE IS NO ONCOMING TRAFFIC; HOWEVER, THERE IS VERY OFTEN ONCOMING TRAFFIC. BECAUSE GM/CADILLAC IS VERY AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND IS UNWILLING TO ADDRESS IT, AND BECAUSE DRIVING AT NIGHT WITH INSUFFICIENT HEADLIGHT ILLUMINATION IS CLEARLY A SAFETY HAZARD, I BELIEVE THIS IS EXACTLY THE SITUATION IN WHICH THE NHTSA SHOULD FORCE REMEDIAL ACTION.

HED LIGHTS HAVE BEEN OUT FOR PAST MONTHS I HAVE REPLACED LIGHT BULBS OFTEN I'M SCARED TO LOSE LIGHT .HAD LIGHT HAVING WATER MOIST.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ON OUR 2012 CADILLAC SRX ARE SO DIM THEY ARE UNSAFE AND PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM BEING DRIVEN AT NIGHT UNLESS HIGH BEAMS CAN BE USED. GM IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND HAS PROVIDED NO FIX, OTHER THAN REPLACING THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY WITH THE SAME FAULTY VERSION.
HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES HAVE CONSISTENT WATER CONDENSATION. HEADLIGHTS ARE ALWAYS VERY DIM AND OFTEN NEED REPLACING. CONDENSATION RECURS EVEN AFTER SERVICING AT CADILLAC AND GM DEALERSHIPS.

THE BULLETIN #PIC5692D NEEDS TO BE A RECALL -WITH THE GM BRAKE PEDAL NOT RELEASING -FIRE HAZZARD TO BRAKES AND WHEELS FROM DRAGGING -1 TIRE CAUGHT ON FIRE- BRAKE LIGHT STAY ON MELTING THE CIRCUIT BOARD AT THE BRAKE LIGHTS -AN OTHER FIRE HAZZARD
SEAL ON THE BACK-UP CAMERA IS BROKEN ALLOWING MOISTURE AND FOG TO GREATLY BLUR IMAGE. THE DEALER SAID IT WILL COST $502 TO REPAIR. THIS IS CERTAINLY A SAFETY ISSUE. DO NOT KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENED AS THE IMAGE JUST KEEP GETTING WORSE WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS.

AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT COULD NOT SEE THE ROAD WELL WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CADILLAC OF SOUTH CHARLOTTE (10725 PINEVILLE RD, PINEVILLE, NC 28134) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED IN THAT MANNER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 9-5380136394. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,652.
I JUST BROUGHT A CADDILAC SRX HAVEN'T HAD IT FOR EVEN A MONTH YET. MY CHILD AND I LOVED IT UNTIL I STARTED TO NOTICE WATER / MOISTURE INSIDE OF THE LEFT HEADLIGHT I THOUGHT IT WAS MAYBE FROM THE AC, HOWEVER I NOTICED IT WASN'T GOING AWAY. IT HAS BEEN RAINING NONSTOP AND I BARLEY LEAVE MY HOME UNLESS I'M GOING TO PUBLIX WITCH IS WALKING DISTANCE. I COULDN'T SEE A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME AS IT LOOKED DARK CAUSING ME TO ALMOST CRASH INTO THEM BUT I SWERVED LEFT MISSING THEM. THE FAMILY WAS KIND ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE MY CHILD AND I WAS OK THEN THEY INFORM ME MY HEADLIGHT WAS OUT. I'M A SAFE DRIVER AND NEVER BEEN INTO A CAR ACCIDENT. IN MY LIFE. BEFORE I MADE THIS PURCHASE I CONTACTED GM TO MAKE SURE THERE WERE NO RECALLS OR ISSUES THAT THEY KNOW OF WITH THE CAR AND THEY VERIFY MY VIN NUMBER AND SAID NO THERE'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT IT HAS NO RECALLS. I FELT RELIEVED AS I TRUST THEM. I TOOK MY CAR TO GM TO HAVE THE SERVICE MANAGER CHECK OUT THE LEFT LIGHT WITH WATER IN IT AS I JUST GOT THE CAR. HE SEEMED STRESSED, SO I REMINDED HIM THAT EVERYDAY ABOVE GROUND IS ALWAYS A GOOD DAY. HE LOOKED AT MY CAR AND SAW BOTH HEADLIGHTS ONE WAS IN THE ADDITION THAT I BOUGHT IT AND THE OTHER ONE HAD WATER AND MOIST INSIDE. I INVITED THE SERVICE MANAGER INSIDE MY CAR TO TAKE A LOOK THE DASHBOARD HE THEN NOTICED THAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR THERE WAS WATER HE PULLED BACK THE CLEAR TAPE AND SAID YOU HAVE A WATER LEAK THIS HAS TO GET TAKEN CARE OF FAST OR IT'S GOING TO CAUSE MOLD INSIDE YOUR CARE. MY CHILD IS ALLERGIC TO MOLD. HE TOLD ME THIS WAS BIGGER THEN THE HEADLIGHT EVEN THOUGH BOTH MOLD AND NO HEADLIGHT ARE BOTH SAFELY AND HEALTH ISSUES. MY HEART BREAKS FOR MY CHILD I CRIED WHEN MY CHILD TOLD ME TO HIS SEEMS LIKE A REPEATED CYCLE): IF I HAD ANY NOTICE OF THIS I WOULDN'T BROUGHT THE CAR. IM THINKING OF REACHING OUT TO AN ATTORNEY BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED IN THIS CAR OR BY THIS CAR. PURCHASED NEW 2012 SRX. HAS 49,000 MILES.SUNROOF BROKE 2 DIFFERENT TIME $3500. LIFTGATE/SUNROOF WOULDN'T OPEN $3500. DEFECTIVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LEADING TO MOISTURE BUILD UP. THE MOISTURE BUILDUP IN THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LEADS TO REDUCED LIGHTING AND EVENTUALLY THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY BURNS OUT LEAVING THE CAR OWNER WITH NO LIGHTS. I JUST HAD THE DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY REPLACED AS MY LIGHTS WENT OUT AT NIGHT WHILE DRIVING IN FEBRUARY 2019. MOISTURE IS ALREADY BUILDING IN THE NEW HEADLIGHT WHICH WILL MOST LIKELY FAIL AGAIN. NOW THE PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT WENT OUT ON 07/04/2019 REQUIRING REPLACEMENT. THE MOISTURE BUILD UP IN THE HEADLIGHT AFTER HEAVY RAINS REGARDLESS IF THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY OR MOVING.

THE CONTACT THEN RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM CADILLAC IN REGARDS TO THE HEADLIGHTS, THAT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WAS AWARE OF THE ISSUE WITH THE HEADLIGHTS. THE LETTER GAVE THE CONTACT INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO RECEIVE A REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE HEADLIGHTS IF THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED OUT OF POCKET. THE CONTACT THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE SHE HAD THE HEADLIGHTS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO HAD THE DRIVER'S SEAT REPAIRED OUT OF POCKET DUE TO THE SEAT MOVING BACK IN FORTH WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS THEN NOTIFIED OF THE REPAIR THAT WAS MADE TO HER HEADLIGHTS. THE MANUFACTURER THEN INFORMED HER THAT HER VEHICLE WAS NOT UNDER RECALL AND THAT SHE WAS NOT ENTITLED TO A REIMBURSEMENT. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT ALSO DISCOVERED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V447000 (SEATS) WHICH SHE LINKED TO THE SEAT FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 66,878.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS DO NOT PUT OUT ENOUGH LIGHTING UPON THE ROAD TO SAFELY NAVIGATE AT NIGHT. I HAVE REPLACED THE BULBS, BUT THAT DIDN'T HELP ANY. I HAVE ALSO INSTALLED A SET OF AFTERMARKET FOG LIGHTS WHICH HELPS A LITTLE BIT, BUT NOT SO MUCH WHEN IT IS RAINING OR WHEN ENCOUNTERING GLARING LIGHTS FROM ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I HAVE READ THAT IF YOU BUY AND REPLACE THE ENTIRE LENS ASSEMBLY THAT WILL FIX THE ISSUE OF WATER LEAKS INTO THE ASSEMBLY, BUT MINE DON'T LOOK LIKE THERE HAS BEEN ANY MOISTURE INSIDE. THE AVERAGE COSTS OF THAT ENTIRE PART IS OVER $300 EACH. THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE THAT THE ROUND LENS WITHIN THE ASSEMBLY APPEARS TO BE A MAGNIFYING-TYPE LENS THAT RESEMBLES THE TYPE OF PRIVACY GLASS COMMONLY USED FOR SHOWER DOORS AND WINDOWS. I DRIVE WITH THE HIGH BEAMS ON UNTIL CHALLENGED BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC, BUT THEN WHEN I RESPOND ACCORDINGLY I MUST COME ALMOST TO A COMPLETE STOP OR RISK LEAVING THE ROAD ALTOGETHER.

THE BRAKES ARE SPONGY AND WOULD OFTEN TIME NEEDED TO BE DEPRESSED ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR TO WORK. VEHICLE HAD BRAKE CHANGED, MASTER CYLINDER REPLACED, AND ALL BRAKE FLUID AND MAINTENANCE COMPLETED, BUT THE PROBLEM WOULD OCCURS AGAIN AFTER 2 WEEKS. FURTHER ONLINE RESEARCH SHOWED THAT THOUSANDS OF OTHER CADILLAC SRX OWNERS ARE HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM, SOME LED TO SEVERE CRASHES. IT ALL APPEARED TO BE SIMILAR WITH MY PROBLEM WHEREAS THE BRAKES WOULD FAIL WITHOUT ANY WARNING, EVEN AFTER IT HAVE BEEN SERVICED. THE PROBLEM OCCUR AT RANDOM BUT ALSO WHEN GOING OVER SPEED BUMPS, AND MAKING TURNS.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT EFFECTIVE FOR SAFE NAVIGATION AT NIGHT. I NOTICED THIS SEVERAL MONTHS AGO AND CHECKED FOR ANY RECALL NOTICES. I FOUND THAT FLORIDA AND ONE OTHER STATE HAVE RECOGNIZED THIS DEFECT AND ISSUED A RECALL FOR REPAIRS TO BE PAID BY GM. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL CLOSE CALLS WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT BECAUSE THE HEADLIGHTS ARE UNSAFE! PLEASE CONSULT WITH GM AND ISSUE A RECALL ON CADILLAC SRX HEADLIGHTS.
TWICE AFTER RUNNING OVER BUMPS, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BUMP, THE BRAKES NEED TO BE DEPRESSED ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR IN ORDER TO ENGAGE THE BRAKE. ALSO, ON OCCASION, CAR TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO ACCELERATE WHEN PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR.

HAD THE VEHICLE SERVICED AND AT FIRST THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG BECAUSE THE PRESSURE BUILT BACK UP HOWEVER WHEN HE TOOK IT FOR A DRIVE THE LAST TIME THE MECHANIC ALMOST GOT IN AN ACCIDENT. THEY REPLACED THE MASTER CYLINDER HOWEVER IT DID THE SAME THING ABOUT A MONTH LATER. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE REGARDING THIS ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE AS THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS REGARDING THE EXACT SAME THING WITH OWNER OTHER OWNERS. SOMEBODY'S GOING TO EVENTUALLY GET KILLED. IT WAS FOUND TO BE A DEFECT OF THIS PARTICULAR MODEL FROM 2010 - 2015. YET, GM HAS KEPT IT QUIET. GM NEEDS TO MAKE GOOD ON THIS SINCE IT HAS KNOWN ABOUT IT AND DID NOT RECALL IT. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR A DEFECT WHICH IS NO FAULT OF MY OWN AND IT IS A DANGEROUS HAZARD ON THE ROAD FOR ME AND OTHERS WHEN A VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT LIGHTING VISIBILITY.
