2014 Cadillac SRX Air Bags & Restraints Problems

The contact owns a 2014 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger’s air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the dealer could not duplicate the failure. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic who accidentally reset the air bag code when it was connected to the code reader. The failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. I HAVE SEVERE PAIN IN MY NECK SHOULDER, ABRASIONS TO THE LEFT SIDE OF MY BODY AND BRUISING. THE VEHICLE IS TOTALED BUT THE AIRBAG NEVER DEPLOYED AND IT SHOULD HAVE WITHOUT A DOUBT. THERE WAS SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE ENTIRE VEHICLE.

A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,999.
