THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN HOME AND THE STEERING WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
I TOOK MY CAR TO HAVE THE RECALLS FIXED ALTHOUGH I WAS HAVING NO PROBLEMS. PUTNAM CHEVROLET IN BURLINGAME SUPPOSEDLY DID IT. THE FIRST TIME I HAD TO PARALLEL PARK MY STEERING WHEEL BECAME IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN AND. I HAD TO GET OUT AND FIND A PLACE WHERE I DIDN'T HAVE TO STEER VERY MUCH WHICH LIVING IN SAN FRANCISCO IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. ALSO MY GEAR SHIFT MARKS RED IN D EVEN WHEN I AM IN REVERSE OR PARKED.
AFTER SMELLING A STRONG SMELL OF GASOLINE WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE, I PULLED MY CAR OVER AND NOTICED A HUGE PUDDLE OF GASOLINE ON THE GROUND AND STILL STEADILY POURING OUT. I IMMEDIATELY DROVE IT HOME AND PARKED IT AND TOOK PHOTOS AND A VIDEO OF THE DEFECT. I HAD LOST OVER HALF A TANK OF GASOLINE IN JUST 30 MINUTES. WITH THIS FUEL PUMP LEAK BEING NEAR THE EXHAUST, A HIGH PROBABILITY OF EXPLOSION CAN HAPPEN AND HAS HAPPENED TO OTHER MODELS OF THIS VEHICLE, DIFFERENT MODEL YEAR. I HAVE SEEN THAT THE CHEVROLET COBALT 2007-2009 HAVE BEEN RECALLED DUE TO FUEL PUMP LEAKS, BUT THE 2010 HAS SUSPICIOUSLY BEEN LEFT OFF OF THE RECALL.
I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE ON MY CHEVROLET VEHICLE AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE RECALL WORK AT TED BRITT CHEVY IN STERLING, VA. AFTER TWO HOURS WITH THE VEHICLE, THE TECHNICIAN PRESENTED ME WITH A LIST OF REPAIRS COSTING $1200+ THAT WOULD NEED TO BE PERFORMED BEFORE THE RECALL ACTION COULD BE TAKEN. NOT ONLY WERE THE ISSUES SUSPECT, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY NONE OF THEM PRECLUDED THE RECALL WORK FROM BEING COMPLETED. THE EFFORT TO SHAKE DOWN CUSTOMERS FOR ELECTIVE, OUT-OF-POCKET REPAIRS BEFORE A DEALERSHIP PERFORMS A LEGALLY MANDATED ACTION IS CLEARLY FRAUD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET COBALT. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE CONTACT WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO AVOID THE CRASH, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DRIVER AND A CHILD WERE INJURED AND RECEIVED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE DEALER RESET THE AIR BAG SYSTEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET COBALT. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE POWER STEERING FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. THE POWER STEERING RETURNED TO NORMAL; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
I HAVE HAD MY CAR IN THE SHOP MULTIPLE TIMES FOR LIGHTS DIMMING WITHIN THE VEHICLE, REPLACING THE FRONT HEAD LIGHT AND THE RADIO NOT WORKING. HAVE BEEN TOLD THE HEADLIGHTS WIRES ARE MELTED, THE CAR GENUINELY HAS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM BUT NO RECALLS. THIS IS INCREDIBLY UNSAFE TO HAVE ELECTRIC WIRES BURNING OUT AND MELTING.
HAD THIS VEHICLE ONLY 6 MONTHS AND HAD THE FLUID CHANGED. THEN WENT TO MOVE IT AND REVERSE WAS ONLY FORWARD AND FORWARD WAS FORWARD. HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER. THEY DIAGNOSED AND SAID THERE WAS NO GEARS. THEY SAID IT NEED A TRANSMISSION. ALSO THEY SAID IT NEED A NEW RADIATOR, BECAUSE OF THE BACK FLOW FROM THE TRANSMISSION. THE RADIATOR WOULD COST ABOUT 700. DOLLARS. HAS THERE BEEN ANY PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION WITH OTHER VEHICLES? DOES THE DEALERS DIAGNOSE OR DO THEY REPAIR THE ITEM. I THINK THE PROBLEM WAS THE SHIFTING PIN WENT OUT WITH THE SHIFTING, BUT THEY PUT IN AND CHARGED FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET COBALT. WHILE DRIVING ANY SPEED, THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE SHIFTED GEARS AUTOMATICALLY, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO JERK RAPIDLY. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE STARTER FUSE BLEW OUT WHEN STARTING THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO SHAKE THE FUSE BOX PRIOR TO INSERTING A NEW FUSE TO TEMPORARILY PREVENT THE FUSES FROM IMMEDIATELY BLOWING OUT AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE NEW GROUND WIRE WAS ADDED TO CONNECT TO THE TRANS CONTROL MODULE, BUT THE FAILURES RECURRED AFTER A FEW HOURS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V153000 (STEERING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 78,000.
THE BRAKE LIGHTS REMAIN ON EVERYTIME I DRIVE. THEY ARE INTERMITTENT. THEY WILL STAY ON FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME AND THEN THEY WILL TURN OFF ONLY TO COME BACK AGAIN. I HAVE GONE TO CHEVY DEALERS, PEPBOYS, AND LOCAL MECHANICS AND NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIX OR SOLVE THE ISSUE PERMANENTLY. THEY HAVE "FIXED" THE BRAKE SENSORS, REPROGRAMMED THE CAR, AND HAVE DONE SOME OTHER THINGS, YET NO ONE CAN FIX THE ISSUE. WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR OVER 3 1/2 YEARS

I HAVE OWNED A 2010 CHEVY COBALT SINCE 2012. SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON. THE POWER LOCKS ERRATICALLY LOCK AND UNLOCK. THE WINDOWS WILL BECOME JAMMED AND SUDDENLY WILL NOT ROLL BACK UP. CRUISE CONTROL WILL RANDOMLY STOP WORKING. I HAD ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION WHICH COST ME OVER $3,000 TO FIX. THEN, THERE WAS THE IGNITION SWITCH RECALL WHICH THE DEALER FIXED AT NO COST. BUT NOW I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE POWER STEERING. I HAVE TO TURN MY IGNITION OFF AND ON FOR THE POWER STEERING WARNING MESSAGE TO TURN OFF BUT THEN IT TURNS BACK ON A FEW MINUTES LATER. I AM AWARE THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE POWER STEERING BUT YET THE DEALER REFUSES TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE WITH MY CAR BECAUSE THEY SAY THAT RECALL WAS PERFORMED BY A PREVIOUS OWNER. THE NHTSA WEBSITE STATES BULLETIN 14115 REGARDING POWER STEERING RECALL BEGAN JULY 17, 2014. MIND YOU I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR SINCE 2012 AND HAVE NOT HAD THE POWER STEERING RECALL ISSUES FIXED. N140115 ALSO STATES THAT IT INCLUDES "2010 CHEVY COBALT AND VEHICLES REPAIRED IN RECALL 10V-073 THAT RECEIVED REPAIRS PRIOR TO MAY 31, 2010." THEREFORE, THEY SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH MY VEHICLE OR PROVIDE ME WITH A CAR THAT IS SAFE. THE FIRST TIME MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT I WAS ON A FREEWAY ON RAMP WHEN MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. I COULD HAVE DIED! THIS IS A LIFE THREATENING ISSUE AND I SINCERELY BELIEVE THIS IS A LEMON CAR. *TR

1. CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGES ON IT'S OWN AND LUNGES FORWARD, EVEN IN TRAFFIC AT 10 MPH SPEED. 2. SEAT BELT ON DRIVERS SEAT, WHILE STATIONARY,DOESN'T RELEASE EASILY AND TAKES ABOUT 30-45 SECONDS AT TIMES TO RELEASE. 3.WHILE ON THE ROAD DRIVING, THE CAR DISPLAYED ALL THE INFORMATION ON THE DASH, SUCH AS; TIRE PRESSURE, OIL LIFE, MILEAGE, ETC., THEN THE CAR'S SPEED REDUCES AND IT FLASHES WORDS "POWER STEERING" AND THEN THE CAR DIED IN TRAFFIC AND I WAS ALMOST HIT FROM BEHIND BEFORE I COULD GET THE CAR OFF THE ROAD. I HAD TO CALL A TOW TRUCK AND BE TAKEN TO CHEVY DEALER AND THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG. THIS HAS HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY, 5/29/2016 AND I HAD TO LEAVE MY CAR IN STORE PARKING LOT FOR FOUR HOURS AND THEN IT STARTED, DROVE 5 MILES HOME AND WENT OUT AGAIN RIGHT BEFORE I PULLED INTO DRIVEWAY. 4. WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, I ENGAGED THE BRAKES AND THEY BARELY STOPPED ME AND BRAKES PADS ARE GOOD ON CAR.
WHILE DRIVING AT 55MPH ON CA HWY 111, THE ENGINE JUST SHUT OFF. I WAS IN BUSY FAST MOVING TRAFFIC. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I HAD NOT CHANGED ANYTHING NOR DID I HAVE MORE THAN A SINGLE KEY ON THE KEY RING.
THE DRIVER'S DOOR SPEAKER HAS STOPPED WORKING. THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM REPORTED ON CHEVY FORUMS FOR ALL MODEL YEAR COBALTS. THIS PROBLEM CREATES SAFETY CONCERNS AS ALL VEHICLE WARNING CHIMES AND SOUNDS ARE DIRECTED TO THE SPEAKER ON THIS DOOR AND ARE NOW NON-FUNCTIONAL. PARTICULAR CONCERN IS THAT THE TURN SIGNAL MAKE NO SOUND WHEN ACTIVATED. THIS CAN LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT WHEN NO WARNING SOUND IS GENERATED WHEN A DRIVER UNINTENTIONALLY LEAVES A TURN SIGNAL ACTIVATED. THIS WAS REPORT TO CHEVY (REF. 8-2076604032), BUT IT DOES NOT APPEAR THEY WILL BE ISSUING A RECALL.
WHEN I GOT TO RED LIGHT TONIGHT 4/29/2016, CAR STARTED JERKING AS IF IT WILL CUT OFF. SCARY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.DONT HAVE MONEY FOR EXPENSIVE REPAIRS. HELP.
ON 4 OCCASIONS THE STEERING STOPPED WORKING AND LOCKED UP. THREE OF THE FOUR TIMES WAS WHEN VEHICLE WAS MOVING IN A BUSY SHOPPING AREA. IN ORDER TO REGAIN STEERING THE CAR WOULD HAVE TO BE STOPPED SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED. AFTER EACH INCIDENT THE DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED AND VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT IN. THE STEERING COLUMN WAS REPLACED AND CAR RETURNED TO US. AT THE PRESENT TIME THE CAR IS AT DEALERSHIP FOR THE SAME ISSUE THE STEERING LOCKING UP WHILE MOVING. THE CAR REMAINS AT DEALERSHIP AND WE NOTIFIED GM OF THE SITUATION WE RECEIVED A CASE NUMBER, SENIOR ADVISOR AND WERE TOLD TO KEEP LENDER AND THEY WOULD BE REACHING OUT TO DEALERSHIP. AS OF THIS TIME THE DEALERSHIP HAS NOT RESPONDED TO GM EMAIL AND WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM DEALERSHIP OR GM ABOUT THE STATUS OF THE CAR. WE HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS VERY DANGEROUS AND STRESSFUL ISSUE SEVERAL TIMES AND DO NOT BELIEVE THIS VEHICLE IS SAFE AND NO LONGER WANT OUR LIVES PUT IN DANGER.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET COBALT. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE PEDAL BECAME STUCK. THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED UP TO 95 MPH. AFTER APPLYING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL MULTIPLE TIMES, IT RELEASED IN THE NORMAL POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
REAR BRAKES MAKING LOTS OF NOISE, AND ARE CRAP. THIS CAR SHOULD HAVE ALOT MORE RECALLS. STOP LETTING GM SCREW US HARD WORKING PEOPLE! MY CAR IS MOVING WHEN I HEAR THE NOISES, MY BRAKE PADS ARE NEW SO THIS IS NOT THE PROBLEM.
ENGINE POWER REDUCED SHOWS ON DISPLAY AND CAR DROPS TO 10 MPH IN THE MIDDLE OF TURNING, ACCELERATING OR OTHER HAZARDOUS INSTANCES. HAVE HAD SEVERAL CLOSE CALLS WITH COLLISIONS.
STARTING IN 12/15, THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT WAS COMING ON INTERMITTENTLY, THEN ALSO THE ABS LIGHT. PER MECHANIC ADVICE, I HAD A WHEEL BEARING REPLACED. AFTER THAT, LIGHTS WERE OFF, THEN BEGAN AGAIN SEVERAL DAYS LATER. MY MECHANIC SAID I SHOULD REPLACE THE OPPOSITE BEARING TO EVEN OUT THE TRACTION SENSOR. 1/21/16 I WAS DRIVING DOWN A HILL, TAPPED THE BRAKE, FELT SOMETHING LOCK UP IN THE FRONT END AND CAREENED ACROSS THE ROAD INTO SOME TREES. I ASKED MY INSURANCE CO ABOUT THIS, AND NOTIFIED CHEVY TOO. NOBODY SEEMED INTERESTED IN PURSUING THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT- TOTALED THE CAR. THANK GOD I WASN'T HURT BADLY AND NOBODY ELSE WAS INVOLVED. I KNOW THEY DON'T WANT TO BOTHER WITH ME BECAUSE I AM SMALL POTATOES. I FEEL I SHOULD AT VERY LEAST BE REIMBURSED FOR THE REPAIRS I HAD DONE AND PAY FOR MY NEW (USED) VEHICLE FOR MY TROUBLE. I THINK MY DRIVING RECORD, MY FAMILIARITY WITH THE ROAD AND THE KNOWLEDGE MY MECHANIC HAS OF MY PROBLEM PLUS THE FACT THAT MANY OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS AS I SAW ON LINE SHOULD PROVIDE ME SOME HELP.
MY CAR HAS APPROXIMATELY 3000 MILES ON IT. IT IS ALWAY GARAGE (ENCLOSED). DURING ITS 3000 MILES, IT HAS ONLY HAD ONE PASSENGER FOR ABOUT A 100 MILE TRIP. NO ONE HAS RIDEN IN THE BACKSEAT NOR HAS THE REAR SEAT BEEN USED FOR TRANSPORTING ITEMS. THE INTERIOR HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED (NOT NEEDED). IT IS A COLLECTOR CAR AND USED AS SUCH FOR OCCASIONAL TRIPS. LAST WEEK, THE SIR INSTRUMENT LIGHT SUDDENLY ILLUMINATED (SERVICE AIRBAG) WHILE ON A TRIP TO EXERCISE THE CAR (CAR WAS STATIONARY AND THE SIR ILLUMINATED WHEN THE AUTOMOBILE WAS STARTED). SEE GM SERVICE BULLETIN 09-09-40-003A ISSUED AUGUST 2010. WHEN SIR IS ILLUMINATED, THE AIRBAGS ARE NON-FUNCTIONAL, BUT THE CAR IS DRIVEABLE. SEEMS GM HAS A LATENT DEFECT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT RETRACTOR AND ITS WIRING BUNDLE. GM DEALER CHARGE ~$500 TO REPLACE THE SEAT BELT RETRACTOR AND ITS DEFECTIVE WIRING BUNDLE. THEY ALSO LOOSEN THE WIRE BUNDLE LEADING TO THE RETRACTOR TO GIVE IT MORE PLAY AND ALTER THE SEAT BELT SLEEVE TO ALLEVIATE BINDING OF THE WIRING BUNDLE. THIS PROBLEM IS GENERIC TO THE WHOLE COBALT LINE AND ITS PONTIAC COUSIN THE G%. SINCE THE FIX IS COSTLY, MOST FOLKS CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE AUTOMOBILE AND DON'T REALIZE THE AIRBAGS ARE NONFUNCTIONAL. THIS PRESENTS A REAL SAFETY HAZARD TO THE OWNERS AND PASSENGERS OF COBALT AUTOMOBILES. THIS SHOULD BE AN IMMEDIATE MANDATORY RECALL FOR GM!!!

THE PLASTIC COVER PANEL LOCATED BELOW THE STEERING COLUMN WAS REMOVED TO ACCESS THE KEY RELEASE BUTTON. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.

IN DECEMBER 2015, I PULLED INTO A PARKING SPACE AND PUT MY CAR IN PARK, THEN TURNED MY KEY BACK TO LEAVE THE RADIO ON BUT EVERYTHING SEEMED TO COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. I TRIED TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION BUT COULDN'T GET IT OUT. I TRIED TO RESTART THE CAR, BUT IT WOULDN'T START. MY KEY WAS STUCK IN THE IGNITION. I GOOGLED THE PROBLEM AND READ THAT THE GEARSHIFT MAY APPEAR TO BE IN PARK, BUT IS REALLY IN GEAR, LOCKING THE KEY. I COULDN'T MOVE THE GEAR FORWARD ANY FURTHER BUT NOTICED THE "REVERSE" GEAR WAS HIGHLIGHTED ON THE PANEL INSTEAD OF "PARK". I SAW THAT IT WAS A RECALLED ISSUE SO I CALLED THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT TAP HAT ISSUE HAD ABLE EASY BEEN "FIXED" IN JUNE 2014. I EXPLAINED THAT MY KEY WAS STUCK AND MY GEARSHIFT APPEARED TO BE OFF KILTER, AND THAT IT WAS LISTED AS A DIFFERENT ISSUE. AGAIN, SHE RUDELY TOLD ME THAT HAD BEEN FIXED AND THAT THE PROBLEM MUST BE SOMETHING ELSE AND I'D HAVE TO PAY $70.00 FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC. THE PROBLEMS I HAVE WITH THAT ARE IF IT WERE "FIXED", ISN'T THERE A CHANCE IT WASN'T FIXED PROPERLY (SINCE OBVIOUSLY, IT WASN'T BUILT PROPERLY THE FIRST TIME), AND THAT HAVING A CHEVY DEALER DO THE DIAGNOSTIC AND POSSIBLY FIND THAT IT IS THE SAME RECALL ISSUE, WOULD THEY REALLY TELL ME THAT AND "FIX" IT AGAIN, OR WOULD THEY TELL ME IT'S NON-RELATED AND CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING ELSE? I HAD IT TOWED TO A MECHANIC AND IT'S CURRENTLY BEING LOOKED AT.
WE ATTEMPTED TO MANUALLY LOCK AND UNLOCK 2 PASSENGER SIDE DOORS, AND NOW THE REAR LOCK DOESN'T WORK, AND THE REAR DOOR ALSO DOESN'T OPEN AT ALL, FROM INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. IN THE FRONT, THE DOOR CAN STILL BE OPENED BUT THE LOCK HAS TO BE MANUALLY LOCKED AND UNLOCKED. THE DRIVERS SIDE 2 DOORS AND POWER LOCKS WORK OK. THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED WHEN WE MANUALLY LOCKED AND UNLOCKED THE PASSENGER SIDE DOORS.

FIRST AT 10 MPH (HARD BUCK) THAN (LIGHTER BUCK) AT 20 MPH, AND CONTINUES LIGHTER THROUGH ACCELERATION. CODES THAT ARE COMING UP ARE P0107 ENGINE (MAP) BAROMETRIC PRESSURE CIRCUIT - LOW INPUT, P0452 ENGINE (EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM PRESSURE SYSTEM PRESSURE SENSOR - SWITCH LOW INPUT, P0532 ENGINE AC PRESSURE SENSOR A - CIRCUIT LOW, AND P0641 ENGINE (SENSOR REFERENCE VOLTAGE A) CIRCUIT/OPEN. I WAS ABLE TO CLEAR OUT ALL CODES EXCEPT FOR P0641 (PERMANENT). PLEASE HELP.

IT SEEMS THAT THE LEFT FRONT SPEAKER IS USED FOR THE TRANSMITTING OF THE WARNING SOUNDS THUS THERE IS NO SOUND FROM THE LEFT SPEAKER. THEN, APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS AGO (AUGUST 31), MY POWER STEERING FAILED, AGAIN, WHILE I WAS PARALLEL PARKING. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO LET THEM KNOW THAT IT APPEARS THAT THE REPAIR WASN'T DONE CORRECTLY OR ISN'T WORKING. THEY TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO BRING THE CAR IN TO SEE IF THAT'S THE PROBLEM. THEY DIDN'T EXPRESS ANY TYPE OF APOLOGY FOR THE FAILURE OR SUGGEST THAT THEY WOULD CHECK WITH GM OR REPORT THE FAILURE OF THE REPLACEMENT PART. THEY JUST SUGGESTED THAT THERE WAS NO WAY FOR THEM TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE CARE THIS TIME.

MANY OF THEM THEY REFUSED TO FIX EVEN THOUGH WE BOUGHT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I TOOK IT AND COMPLAINED ABOUT THE DASH ACTING STRANGE, THE GAUGES WOULD JUMP AND THE DIGITAL WOULD GO TO ALL DASHES, THEY REPLACED SOMETHING ONCE AND IT STILL DID IT. I COMPLAINED SEVERAL MORE TIMES AND ALL THEY WOULD SAY WAS THEY COULD NOT GET THE ISSUE TO REPLICATE. THERE HAVE BEEN OIL LEAKS THAT WERE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY, IT WEARS OUT SHOCKS LIKE CRAZY, BOTH FRONT HUBS HAVE HAD TO BE REPLACED, THERE HAS BEEN WATER IN THE HEAD LIGHTS, 1 WAS REPLACED BY THE WARRANTY BUT THEN THE OTHER MY DEALERSHIP REFUSED TO REPLACE AND I HAD TO PAY TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. WATER LEAKS INTO THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT FLOOR BOARD FROM UNDER THE DASH, THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT WAS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY, WATER LEAKS IN THE DRIVER SIDE FLOOR BOARD FROM UNDER DASH DURRING AND AFTER HEAVY RAINS, DEALERSHIP STATED THEY COULD NOT REPLICATE THE ISSUE, NOT TO MENTION THE RECALLS. WE HAVE DONE ALL THE REG. SCHEDULED OIL CHANGES AND SERVICE. IT HAS GOTTEN NEW SPARK PLUGS AND NEW COIL PACKS. NOW THE ENGINE IS BLOWN UP WITH ONLY 135000 MILES ON IT.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WIRING HARNESS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
