THE CAR WOULD BECOME HARD TO STEER AND CONTROL. ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL IN STABILITY CONTROL WARNING LIGHTS FLASHING. THIS HAPPENS WITHOUT WARNING CAN HAPPEN AT ANY SPEED HIGHWAY ORE CITY. THE TIMES THIS HAS OCCURRED WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. (THIS IS A TSB I LATER FOUND BUT THE COULD EASILY CAUSED A CRASH ON ACCIDENT)
THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN GOING TO ANTI THEFT MODE AND TOOK IT IN THEY FOUND COOLANT RESERVOIR LEAKING THERMOSTAT LEAKING ALONG WITH THE DRIVE BELT HAS COOLANT ON IT CAUSING IT TO SQUEAK ACCORDING TO CHEVROLET CAR SEEMS LIKE WHEN I'M DRIVING IT IT FEELS LIKE ITS MOVING FWD ON IT'S ON WHEN I HAVE MY FOOT ON BRAKE AT A COMPLETE STOP. MY CAR IS AT 143,000 MILES ON IT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO OVERHEAT AND "AIR CONDITIONER TURNING OFF DUE TO VEHICLE OVERHEATING" DISPLAYED. THE CONTACT PARKED THE VEHICLE, OPENED THE HOOD TO ALLOW THE ENGINE TO COOL DOWN, AND ADDED COOLANT. THE VEHICLE DROVE NORMALLY THE NEXT DAY, BUT OVERHEATED AGAIN DURING THE EVENING HOURS. WHEN THE FAILURE RECURRED, THE STABILIZER INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO RESTART AND WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED THE FAILURE ONLINE AND FOUND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V452000 (POWER TRAIN) AS A POSSIBLE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE, BUT THE VIN WAS EXCLUDED FROM THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,357.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED AND THE TRACTION AND ENGINE INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO NOTICED SMOKE OCCASIONALLY UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE CYLINDER MISFIRED AND THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REBUILT OR REPLACED. THE TECHNICIAN REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE DEALER (WALKER CHEVROLET, 3940 CAROTHERS PKWY, FRANKLIN, TN 37067, 615-538-5184) WHERE IT WAS ALSO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REBUILT OR REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. TRACTION CONTROL NEEDS SERVICING LIGHT CAME ON WHILE I WAS DRIVING AT 45 MILES PER HOUR, THEN CAR NOT RUNNING WELL, THEN ENGINE LIGHT, ENGINE KNOCKING, AND HARDLY RUNNING. VEHICLE HAS JUST OVER 72000 MILES. I HAVE READ IN CONSUMER REPORTS THAT THIS YEAR MODEL HAS FAULTY PISTONS. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL IF THEY KNEW THIS ENGINE WAS NOT BUILT WELL.
THERE WAS A RECALL ON 2013-2014 CHEVY CRUZ TURBOS WITH CERTAIN VIN NUMBERS. I OWN A 2013 CHEVY CRUZE, WITH THE EXACT ENGINE (1.4L TURBO ENGINE). MY TURBO IS GOING (THE EXACT SAME ISSUE WITH THE RECALLED PART FOR THE OTHER CHEVY CRUZE'S), BUT MY VIN ISN'T INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. I WANTED TO REACH OUT TO SEE IF THE RECALL WASN'T EXPANSIVE ENOUGH. IT SEEMS STRANGE THAT MY LESS-THAN-60,000 MILE, 5 YEAR OLD CAR HAS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS OTHER CARS BUILT WITH THE SAME ENGINE / YEAR, AND THAT THE PROBLEMS AREN'T RELATED. IT'S $1600 TO FIX, AND IF IT WAS A DEFECT FROM THE MANUFACTURER, THAT SEEMS LIKE AN UNFAIR AMOUNT TO PAY. THE ISSUE HASN'T INCAPACITATED THE CAR YET; IT WAS DIAGNOSED THROUGH A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON MY CAR WHEN I WAS GETTING A TIRE FIXED AT THE DEALERSHIP.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE BOULEVARD AND STOPPED AT THE RED LIGHT ONCE IT GOT GREEN THE CAR TURNED OFF ON ME HAD TO PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTARTED THE CAR TO WORK AGAIN.
CAR SHUTS OFF COMPLETELY.AFTER 10 MINUTES WILL RESTART.STEERING LOCKS UP WHILE DRIVNG.STABLI CONTROL COMES ON.LOSS OF ALMOST AL L POWER.HAPPEN IN DRIVEWAY.WHILE DRIVING TURNING .LOSS OF POWER SO THAT CAR WONT MOVE.
MY 2013 CHEVY CRUZE THAT HAD 80000 MILES ON IT HEAD GASKETS ARE BLOWN OUT ALONG WITH THE BOLTS AND COOLING SYSTEM. UPON REVIEWING OTHER COMPLAINTS AND SPEAKING TO OTHERS THIS SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM. THE CAR HAD REGULAR TUNE-UPS AND OIL CHANGES ALONG WITH A ENGINE FLUSH. I HAVE ATTACHED A COPY OF THE ESTIMATE TO REPAIR THE GASKETS. THE SHOP ALSO INFORMED ME THAT IF I WANTED THE COOLANT SYSTEM FIXED AND IT IS ON RECALL THAT THEY WOULD FIX AROUND THE COOLANT SYSTEM ...SEND THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TO REPAIR THE RECALL AND SEND THE CAR BACK TO THEM TO FINISH REPAIRS. I HAVE ONLY HAD THE CAR 4 YEARS AND WHEN I PURCHASED IT THE CAR ONLY HAD 10000 MILES AND FOR THIS TO HAPPEN THIS EARLY IN A CAR IS A PROBLEM.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (BUD CHEVROLET BUICK IN ST MARYS, OHIO, 419-954-0649) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRIVER ASSIST MODULES IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE WERE FAULTY AND CAUSED THE BLACKOUT ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHILE PULLING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND FELT VERY STIFF. THE SAME DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE FAILURES WERE BEING REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000. *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM WARNING INDICATOR STARTED TO FLASH AND THE POWER STEERING ABILITY DID NOT RESPOND. THE CONTACT REGAINED CONTROL AFTER APPROXIMATELY FIVE SECONDS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY TEN OTHER TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,158.
CAR LOOSES SPEED CAN'T GIVE IT GAS HAS NO PULL! ONCE YOU TAKE IT OUT OF GEAR AND PUT BACK IN DRIVE, WORKS FINE. LIGHTS FLICKER ON AND OFF, ON RADIO. BOUGHT CAR IN FEBRUARY WITH 49.000 MILES ON IT DROVE TO STORE CAME BACK OUT OF STORE CAR WAS COMPLETELY DEAD! MADE NO SOUND, CHECKED BATTERY EVERYTHING, 5 MIN LATER STARTED RITE UP. THIS CAR DOES NOT FEEL SAFE TO ME, I WISH I COULD RETURN IT.
WHEN DRIVING THE CAR IT LOSES POWER WE HAD IT PUT ON A COMPUTER TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUES AND ITS THE TURBO. HOWEVER IVE SEEN THERE IS RECALLS FOR THIS. WE HAVE BOUGHT THIS CAR USED WITH ONLY 54,000 MILES ON IT. WE HAD ONE RECALL FIXED ALREADY THAT THE DEALERSHIP WE GOT IT FROM WAS ONCE FIXED BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. HOWEVER I DON'T BELIEVE THAT AND NOW IM NOT BELIEVING THIS WAS FIXED EITHER. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES WITH THIS CAR AND ITS GETTING RIDICULOUS
I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER WHERE I BOUGHT MY CAR BECAUSE MY STABILITRAK WAS TURNING ON AND OFF ON THEIR SELF SI I REPORT IT AND WHEN I WAS THERE THEY TOLD ME MY COOLANT HAD A LEAKING AND NEED TO BE REPLACED AS LONG SOME HOSE AND OTHER PARTS AS WATER PUMP THAT A WAS ALSO UNDER A RECALL TO BUT THEY CHARGED ME $ 697.95 WHERE THEY SHOULDN'T CUZ I WAS A RECALL COVER UNDER SPECIAL WARRANTY MY CAR HAVE SO I REPORT IT TO GM WHERE AN INVESTIGATION IS BEING DONE TO THEY CAN REFUND MY MONEY AND I HAVE PROOF OF ALL WAS DONE TO MY CAR BECAUSE I FEEL IS AN ABUSED TOWARD CHEVROLET JERSEY CITY, NJ DOINGVTHIS TO ME AND IMAGINE HOW MANY THEY ALREADY HAD DONE IT. SOMETHING NEED TO BE DONE IMMEDIATELY... IF PAPERWORK NEED TO BE PROVIDE I HAVE IT TO BE FAX.
MY VEHICLE REPEATEDLY RAN HOT EVERYTIME I WOULD DRIVE IT OVER A MILE ON THE ROAD. MY HUSBAND CHANGED THE THERMOSTAT, ALWAYS MADE SURE IT HAD COOLANT, CHECKED MY HOSES, AND REPLACED THE WATER PUMP. BUT EVENTUALLY IT BLEW A HEAD GASKET. WE NOTICED IT DID SO WHEN WE SEEN WATER HAD MIXED INTO THE OIL. SUPREME CHEVROLET REPLACED THE ENGINE AT 96,000 MILES IN NOVEMBER 2016 UNDER WARRANTY. I DROVE THE CAR ABOUT 54,000 MILES WITH THE REPLACED ENGINE AND IT TOO STARTED RUNNING HOT EVERYTIME I WOULD DRIVE IT ABOUT A MILE DOWN THE ROAD. THE DASH LIGHT WOULD SAY TURN A/C OFF AND IDLE ENGINE OR TURN OFF ENGINE DUE TO HIGH TEMPERATURE. WE CHANGED THE RADIATOR, THE HOSES, THE WATER PUMP, AND THE THERMOSTAT ON THE CAR AND IT REMAINED RUNNING HOT WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES UNTIL THAT ENGINE TOO BLEW A HEAD GASKET.THE DEALERSHIP WILL NOT WARRANTY THE SECOND ENGINE ALTHOUGH IT ONLY HAS 67,000 MILES ON THE NEW ENGINE. AND NOW I AM LEFT WITH NO VEHICLE AND STILL OWE $6700.00 ON THE CHEVROLET CRUZE DUE TO THE FAULTY COOLANT SYSTEM.
I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE GM LOOK OVER THE COOLING SYSTEM FOR THE 2013 CHEVY CRUZES. I HAVE REPLACED THE COOLANT RESERVOIR , TOP HOSE AND CAP ON MINE. THE PROBLEM IM HAVING IS A LEAKING HOSE SOMEWHERE AND I AM SMELLING COOLANT COMING THROUGH THE VENTS WHEN I HAVE THE AC ON OR OFF AND HEATER THE SAME WAY. PLEASE PUT THE CRUZES ON RECALL GM AND SEE IF ANYONE IS HAVING THE SAME THING I AM.
I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 35 MPH ON A CITY STREET WHEN THE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME SLAMMED ON THEIR BRAKES THE FIRST TIME I HIT THE BRAKE AND THE CAR STOPPED THE NEXT TIME I HIT THE BRAKE IT WAS HARD AND DIDN'T STOP THE CAR CAUSING ME TO CRASH INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME, THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND I THINK IT SHOULD HAVE, CAUSING MY HEAD TO SLAM INTO THE STEERING WHEEL CAUSING ME TO BITE MY TONGUE IN HALF. I HAVE CONTACT CHEVROLET AND GM MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING THEY LITERALLY HAVE NOT CARED ONE BIT. I BELIEVE THEIR IS A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKING SYSTEM OR THE VACUUM SYSTEM IN THE BRAKES AND I AM NOT THE FIRST PERSON THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO IN A CRUZE, I LOOKED IT UP AFTER IT HAPPENED AND I FOUND A FEW OTHER STORIES OF THE SAME THING HAPPENING.
POWER STEERING WENT OUT WHILE MAKING A TURN IN A PARKING LOT AND BOTH POWER STEERING LIGHT, AND STABILI TRAK LIGHT CAME ON. I COULD BARELY CONTROL THE STEERING WHEEL. LATER THAT DAY CAR WAS BACK TO NORMAL.
CONSUMER COMPLAINT. NOXIOUS ODOR FROM HEATER. CAUSES NASAL DISCOMFORT AND COUGHING FORCING MANUAL SHUTDOWN OF HEATER. HEATER IS OUTGASSING A CLOYINGLY SWEET SMELL THAT IS WIDELY DISCUSSED IN INTERNET FORUMS WITH NO SOLUTION. *JS
DEFROST IS NOT WORKING. I BELIEVE THE MODE VALVE LEVER IS BROKEN.
WHILE DRIVING IN MOTION GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH CAR LOST ALL POWER ALL OF SUDDEN, THIS ALSO HAPPENED WHILE SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT TOTAL LOSS OF POWER. THIS IS SERIOUS IT STALLS IN MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND IT MAY OR MAYNOT START BACK UP.
HELLO, THIS SUNDAY MY 2013 CHEVY CRUZE WHILE DRIVING AN ALERT CAME UP SAYING THAT ENGINE POWER REDUCED AND OTHER NOTICES. THE RESULT WAS THAT THE CAR LOST POWER. THANKFULLY I WAS ON A SIDE STREET AT THE TIME AT A SLOW SPEED. MOST OF MY DRIVING IS ON THE HIGHWAY AND IF THIS WOULD HAVE OCCURRED AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS WHICH DID OCCUR TO SOME PEOPLE WHO POSTED ON CHEVY FORUMS IT COULD BE FATAL. GM WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THIS ISSUE AND WOULD NOT COVER THE COST TO REPAIR IT. THE DEALER SAYS THAT THE RIGHT CV JOINT IS LEAKING. ALSO MY STEERING WHEEL HAS A SMALL CATCH IN IT WHEN WE ARE DRIVING, WONDERING IF THESE ARE RELATED?
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 70MPH ALL ELECTRONICS IN THE CAR QUIT WORKING. NO SPEEDOMETER, ODOMETER, ETC. ALL WARNING LIGHTS LIT UP ON THE DASH. RADIO AND HEAT QUIT WORKING. STEERING BECAME MORE DIFFICULT. TURN SIGNALS QUIT WORKING. VEHICLE IS IN THE SHOP AND THEY HAVE REPLACED 2 MODULES AND ARE NOW GETTING INTO THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. COST IS CURRENTLY AT $1500 AND ISSUE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT APPROX. 65-70MPH ALL GAUGES WENT DEAD. RADIO CUT OFF, HEAT SHUT OFF. NO SPEEDOMETER. ALL WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON THE DASH. CAR WAS DRIVABLE BUT HAD NO TURN SIGNALS, ETC. HEAT AND RADIO WOULD COME ON FOR A FEW MINUTES THEN CUT OFF AGAIN. ONCE PARKED, THE CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN.
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR ON CITY STREET WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, IT LOST ALL POWER. THE CAR SLOWED DOWN AND I WAS STUCK IN A TURNING LANE AT A BUSY INTERSECTION.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE, IT FAILED TO TURN OFF. IN ORDER TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT HAD TO TAKE THE GEAR SHIFTER OUT OF THE PARK POSITION THREE TIMES AND THEN PLACE IT BACK IN PARK. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000.

CAR OVERHEATING AND LOSING POWER OVER 40MPH, DIAGNOSIS: TRANSMISSION COOLER LINE BREAK JUNE 2018: PROBLEM: SPEDOMETER STARTED MALFUNCTIONING AND CAR BEGAN SPUTTERING ON HIGHWAY AT 65MPH, DIAGNOSIS: TRANSMISSION COMPUTER (INPUT AND OUTPUT SENSOR) FRIED JANUARY 2019. PROBLEM: COOLING DRAINING EXTREMELY FAST AND CAR MAKING GURGLING NOISE (AT ALL SPEEDS), DIAGNOSIS: WATER PUMP BREAK, THERMOSTAT BREAK, SERPENTINE BELT AND 5. JANUARY 2019: PROBLEM: OIL LEAK, DIAGNOSIS: TIMING COVER GASKET NEED REPLACEMENT
THE DEFROST DOESN'T WORK ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. WHEN I TURN THE SETTINGS TO DEFROST, THE FACE VENTS TURN ON FULL POWER. IVE TRIED ALL OF THE DIFFERENT SETTINGS (FACE, FEET, FACE AND FEET, DEFROST AND FEET, ETC) AND THE DEFROST WONT WORK ON ANY OF THEM. THIS CAUSES MY WINDOW TO FOG UP AND ICE OVER ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. WHILE IM DRIVING! ITS NOT ONLY ANNOYING , IT'S EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE WHEN DRIVIG DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. THERE IS NOTHING IN THE VENTS. I CHECKED. I TRIED TO TAKE PICTURES TO SHOW HOW I HAVE NO VISIBILITY. IT'S ALOT WORSE IN PERSON.
DRIVING AND WHEN I HIT A BUM THE CAR STARTED TO GO SLOWLY
CHEVY CRUZE 1.8 LITER MANUAL TRANSMISSION. 2013. HAD RECALL FOR HIGH TEMP FOR CATALYTIC CONVERTER. MANUFACTURER RESET COMPUTER AS RECALL REQUIRED. NOW, THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER HAS STOPPED WORKING. ENGINE LIGHT ON.

REGARDLESS, THE SENSORS THAT CAUSE THE SEAT BELT TO LOCK SHOULD NOT BE IN THE FRONT OF THE CAR AS THEY THEN PROVIDE NO PROTECTION FROM A REAR END COLLISION.

I HAVE A LEAK IN MY COOLANT SYSTEM. SINCE I'VE GOTTEN THE CAR IN OCTOBER 2016, I'VE EXPERIENCED A WEIRD BURNING SMELL, BEFORE I HAD EVEN DISCOVERED WHAT THE ISSUE WAS. IN JUNE 2017, MY ENGINE OVERHEATED DUE TO A MALFUNCTION IN MY COOLANT SYSTEM. AS A RESULT, I HAD MY COOLANT FLANGE REPLACED. A FEW DAYS LATER, MY CAR BEGAN TO SMOKE AND MY ENGINE WENT IDLE. THE COOLANT LEAKS FROM THE FLANGE AND THE RESERVOIR OFTEN. SOMETIMES, IT LEAKS AS I DRIVE, OTHER TIMES, IT'LL BE PARKED AND LEAK OUT WHEN IDLE. I NEVER USE MY AIR CONDITIONING OR HEAT ANYMORE DUE TO THE BURNING SMELL OF THE COOLANT. I HAD MY COOLANT FLANGE REPLACED A SECOND TIME. MY CAR WAS DOWN FOR 3 MONTHS AND I JUST GOT IT REPAIRED AGAIN. LAST WEEK, OCTOBER 10, 2017, MY CAR BEGAN TO SMOKE AGAIN, MY ENGINE WENT IDLE, AND WHEN I POPPED THE HOOD, THE COOLANT HAD LEAKED OUT COMPLETELY. ANY TIME IT HAS OVERHEATED AND THE ENGINE WHEN IDLE, I'VE BEEN ON THE FREEWAY, DRIVING AT LEAST 60 MPH OR ON THE STREET, DRIVING AT LEAST 30 MPH. MORE RECENTLY, WHEN IT OVERHEATED, THE CAR HAD BEEN IDLE FOR 2 HOURS AND THEN 5 MINS INTO ME DRIVING IT, IT HAPPENED. I WAS DRIVING DOWN A DARK HIGHWAY, GOING ABOUT 25 MPH. BEFORE THE ENGINE OVERHEATED, I HAD 65% OIL LIFE AND AFTERWARDS, I HAD 0% OIL LIFE. MY UNCLE HAD JUST ADDED COOLANT TO MY RESERVOIR THE DAY BEFORE, BUT IT LEAKED OUT COMPLETELY. LUCKILY, I WAS NOT ALONE THIS TIME. I'M ALWAYS CAUTIOUS THAT MY ENGINE WILL BLOW OUT WHEN I DRIVE IT. MY MECHANIC INFORMED ME TO BE SURE THAT I ALWAYS HAD COOLANT AND WATER IN MY TRUNK AT ALL TIMES, IN CASE IT LEAKS OUT. ENGINE COOLANT THERMOSTAT SENSORS. I HAVE REPLACED IT TWICE IN 2 MONTHS. I HAVE FOUND NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS OF THE SAME SORT ALL OVER THE INTERNET WITH MANY MODEL YEARS OF THE CAR I HAVE. THINGS JUST DON'T GO BAD THAT SOON UNLESS THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT ELECTRICAL OR ENGINE ISSUE. I SEE NO RECALLS FOR MY YEAR ON ANYTHING AND I FIND IT HARD 1 YEAR MODEL HAS NO RECALL ISSUES.
I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM THE STORE AND THE "SERVICE POWER STEERING" LIGHT CAME ON AND I LOST POWER STEERING. THE STABILITRAK LIGHT WAS ALSO ON. IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER THE CAR HOME. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY TELL ME THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. THEY ARE GOING TO KEEP IT ANOTHER DAY TO SEE IF THEY CAN MAKE THE CODE COME UP, BUT IF IT DOESN'T THEN I GET TO DRIVE A CAR THAT CAN CRASH BECAUSE OF POWER STEERING FAILURE. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO HAVE THE STEERING GO OUT WHILE DRIVING. GM NEEDS TO FIND OUT WHY THIS IS HAPPENING AND FIX IT.
