TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH IN THE RAIN, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED WORKING. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT DROVE TO A GAS STATION AND WAITED FOR THE RAIN TO STOP BEFORE DRIVING HOME. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DENOOYER CHEVROLET (58000 STADIUM DR, KALAMAZOO, MI) WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED. THE SPECIFICS OF THE DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR WERE NOT DISCLOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,550.
SUNROOF PROBLEMS, I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. IT WAS A NICE DAY ABOUT 73 DEGREES WITH NOBODY AROUND THE VEHICLE AND SUDDENLY I HEARD A LOUD NOISE (SOUNDED LIKE A SHOTGUN GOING OFF). I INVESTIGATED BY OPENING THE SUNROOF SUNSHADE AND COULD SEE THE SUNROOF HAD SHATTERED UPWARDS. I CONTINUED ABOUT A MILE AND EXITED OFF INTERSTATE AND LOOKED AT THE SUNROOF FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE EQUINOX AND YOU COULD HEAR IT CONTINUING TO CRACK. I DECIDED AT THAT POINT TO TAKE A SECONDARY ROAD HOME ABOUT 4 MILES AND LOST A PIECE OF THE SUNROOF BEFORE I GOT BACK HOME. I TURNED THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER AND OF COURSE THEY STATED IT HAD TO BE AN IMPACT. I AM SURE THERE WAS NO IMPACT, THIS SUN ROOF EXPLODED UPWARDS. THERE NEED TO BE SOME TYPE OF POLY GLASS IN THIS TYPE OF ROOF TO PREVENT SHATTERED GLASS FROM FLYING OFF AND HITTING OTHER VEHICLES AND TO PROTECT THE OCCUPANTS FROM DANGER.

STEERING WHEEL MAKES A DRAGGING SOUND
I PARKED MY CAR ON MONDAY NIGHT AND HEARD A RATTLING NOISE AND THE ENGINE SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS KNOCKING. I TURNED IT ON AND OFF AND IT STARTED AGAIN. THE NEXT DAY I GET IN TO TAKE MY TWO YOUNG CHILDREN TO SCHOOL AND THE CAR WOULDN'T START. I CALLED THE DEALER AND HAD THE CAR TOWED AND THE DEALER TELLS ME THAT I NEED A NEW ENGINE. THE VEHICLE HAS 58,352 MILES SO IT AS FAR I KNOW IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY AS I HAVE LESS THAT 100,000 MILES AND ITS ONLY 3 YRS OLD SINCE I BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW. WELL GM WILL NOT COVER THE MOTOR BECAUSE I DIDN'T TAKE IT TO THE DEALER TO HAVE OIL CHANGES DONE. SINCE THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF THE OIL CHANGES DESPITE THAT FACT THAT I DID THEM EVERY 3000 MILES AS RECOMMENDED THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME A NEW MOTOR YET I STILL HAVE TO PAY $510 A MONTH FOR A CAR THAT I CAN NO LONGER DRIVE. GRAY CHEVROLET IS THE DEALER THE CAR IS AT AND THEY ARE THE WORST. GM DOESN'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES AND SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY A GM VEHICLE EVER AGAIN. WHY WAS THERE NO LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD PRIOR? HOW DO I NEED A MOTOR OVER NIGHT WHEN I HAD NO PROBLEMS PREVIOUSLY? WHY IS THAT GM WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY OR AT LEAST SEND SOMEONE TO THE DEALER TO INVESTIGATE? WHY WON'T GM AT LEAST CALL GRAY CHEVROLET TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED AS OPPOSED TO READING SOMETHING TO ME FROM A COMPUTER SCREEN? WHY WOULD THEY NOT TRY TO ASSIST THEIR CUSTOMERS? IM STRANDED WITH 2 KIDS AND NO ONE CARE. DON'T EVER BY ANY VEHICLE FROM GM!!!!!!!!
2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO HVAC SYSTEM DEFECT - FRONT WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER ONLY BLOWS OUT COLD AIR. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS DESIGNED. *JS
MY CAR IS STALLING WHILE I'M DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS ON THE CITY STREETS AND WHEN I'M IDLING AT STOP LIGHTS. IT'S IDLING VERY ROUGH TO WHERE MY CAR IS SHAKING.
WINDSHIELD WIPERS QUIT WORKING DURING RAINSTORM WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH ON US 23, RENDERING DRIVER COMPLETELY BLIND FOR CONDITIONS. REPAIR SHOP REPLACED THE WIPER TRANSMISSION; DISCOVERED THIS HAS BEEN RECALLED IN CANADA BUT NOT US. CONTACTED GM BUT THEY DENY KNOWING OF THIS ISSUE DESPITE A PLETHORA OF REPORTS ONLINE.
TAILGATE CLOSES WITH NO INPUT FROM ANY SWITCHES ON VEHICLE IT SHUTS COMPLETELY AND CAN CAUSE SEVERE INJURIES
NO WARNING, ENGINE REAR SEAL FAILURE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, ALL THE SENSORS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. IN ADDITION, THE "SERVICE ALL WHEEL DRIVE" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT COULD NOT RESTART THE VEHICLE AND IT WAS TOWED TO MIKE SAVOI CHEVROLET IN TROY, MICHIGAN. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE BODY CONTROL MODULE AND POWER STEERING CONNECT MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,929.
THIS AND ALL OTHER GM VEHICLES HAVE FAULTY ANTI LOCK BRAKES THAT DO NOT FUNCTION CORRECT ON SNOW OR ICE. WHAT SHOULD BE A NORMAL STOP IN A NORMAL DISTANCE TURNS INTO THE BRAKES GOING INTO ANTI LOCK IF EVEN ONE WHEEL LOOSES TRACTION. THIS EXTENDS STOPPING DISTANCE BY ABOUT 5 TIMES WHAT IT WOULD BE WITHOUT ANTI LOCK BRAKES. YESTERDAY AGAIN I ALMOST HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE WHEN I WHEN THROUGH AN INTERSECTION. I WAS NOT GOING THAT FAST AND WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN EASY STOP THE BRAKES WENT INTO ANTI LOCK AND THE CAR LOOSES ABOUT 90% OF IT'S STOPPING ABILITY. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO KNOW GM CAR BRAKES BECOME USELESS ON SNOW AND ICE. THEIR IS NO REASON ANTI LOCK BRAKE EVEN NEED TO FUNCTION AT SPEEDS OF SAY UNDER 30 MPH AND SHOULD FUNCTION AT A DIFFERENT PULSE RATE IN TEMPERATURES UNDER 32 DEGREES.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,193. *JS

THIS VEHICLES TRANSMISSION HAS SLIPPED SINCE BRAND NEW. MANY OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW, WHO HAVE THE SAME 4 CYLINDER ENGINE EXPERIENCE THIS SAME ISSUE. IT GOES OUT OF GEAR AT STOP SIGNS WHEN YOU TRY TO ENTER AN INTERSECTION, ON MAJOR HIGHWAYS AT SPEED AND IN ANY CONDITION. CHEVY IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE BUT DOES NOTHING ABOUT IN, AND, THEY PUT THIS SAME TRANSMISSION IN THE NEW 2018 EQUINOX. ALSO, THE CAR COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE LANE OF A MAJOR HIGHWAY. IT WAS REPAIRED IN THE SHOP. A NUMBER OF OTHER EQUINOX OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS SAME ISSUE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE SEIZED AND THE TIMING BELT FRACTURED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS PUSHED TO THE ROAD SHOULDER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER REFUSED TO REPLACE THE ENGINE BECAUSE THE CONTACT HAD THE OIL CHANGED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC RATHER THAN A GM DEALER, WHICH VOIDED THE WARRANTY. THE CONTACT CALLED BOB GRIMM CHEVROLET (2271 S MAIN ST, MORTON, IL 61550), BUT HAD NOT HEARD BACK. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR A YEAR AGO AFTER ABOUT 4 MONTHS IN I STARTED TO NOTICE A NOISE EVERY TIME I TURNED LEFT. IT WAS A SMALL NOISE SO I DIDN'T THINK MUCH OF IT. I CHECKED TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY RECALLS AND THERE ARE NONE. NOW IT IS MORE NOTICABLE BUT THE CAR IS DRIVING FINE UNLESS I MAKE A LEFT TURN IT'S LIKE A SLIGHT CLICKING NOISE. HAS THERE BEEN ANY OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS HAPPENING BECAUSE THE CAR SHOULD NOT BE DOING THIS. I HAVE ONLY HAD IT A YEAR. OTHER THAN THIS ISSUE THE CAR RUNS GREAT.
I OWN AN 2015 EQUINOX LT WHICH I PURCHASED SPECIFICALLY TO TOW BEHIND A MOTORHOME. WE PULLED FUSE 32 ACCORDING TO THE MANUAL (AN EXTRA 12-V OUTLET IS REQUIRED TO BE INSTALLED BECAUSE THE LAW REQUIRES US TO HAVE ADDITIONAL BRAKING IN THE TOWED). MY BRAKING SYSTEM REQUIRES A 12-V OUTLET AND FUSE 32 KILLS THE FACTORY INSTALLED OUTLET. 4 TIMES IN MY TRAVELS, MY TOWED HAS STARTED THRASHING ABOUT (WOBBLING) AFTER HITTING A SMALL BUMP ON A HIGHWAY (ABOUT 55-60 MPH)-- TO THE POINT THAT THE MOTORHOME IS THROWN ABOUT. A COMPLETE STOP IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO MAKE IT STOP WOBBLING. THE HITCH HAS BEEN CHECKED BY 3 DIFFERENT HITCH SPECIALISTS -- NO PROBLEM. HITCH HEIGHT IS CORRECT. WE TOOK THE CAR TO THE CHEVY DEALER IN ELK CITY, OK. TOLD HIM OF THE PROBLEM, HE HAD A TECH LOOK IT OVER AND COULD FIND NO PROBLEM. WE ARE NOW TRAVELING BACK TO CA, BUT NO LONGER ENJOYING OUR EQUINOX FOR FEAR THAT AT ANY TIME IT WILL START WOBBLING. INTERNET SEARCHES REVEAL WE ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES HAVING THIS PROBLEM.

I WAS DRIVING IN A TERRIBLE RAIN STORM AND HAD THE WIPERS ON FAST SPEED. THE WIPERS COMPLETELY STOPPED. I WAS ON A 3 LANE HIGHWAY AND WAS ALMOST KILLED. WHEN I WAITED OUT THE STORM I DROVE HOME. I WENT TO THE INTERNET AND FOUND THAT ALMOST 400,000 VEHICLES WERE RECALLED FOR FAULTY WIND SHIELD MOTOR TRANSMISSIONS. I CALLED CHEVROLET CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT I HAD THE SAME FAILURE AS ALL THE OTHERS THAT WERE REPORTED. THEY TOLD ME IT DIDN'T MATTER AS MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. I HAD TO GET MY WIPERS FIXED AT THE LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALER. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE REPAIR WAS THE SAME AS THEY DID FOR THE VEHICLES THAT WERE PART OF THE RECALL. I HAD THEM SAVE THE PARTS BUT THEY CHARGED ME $580.70. AFTER NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS I RECEIVED NO SATISFACTION FROM CHEVROLET. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND I HOPE YOUR AGENCY CAN HELP.
DRIVING ON I80 IN FAST LANE, HIT SEVERE STORM ENGAGED WIPERS THEY STARYED AND THEN STOPPED. UNABE TO SEE WAS ABLE TO PULL PVER FAST LANE SHOULDER
DURING A DOWN POUR, MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED. THEY JUST STOPPED WORKING WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A 2 LANE HIGHWAY NEXT TO A 18-WHERE TRUCK! I IMMEDIATELY LOST ALL VISIBILITY AND WAS UNABLE TO SEE. THE WIPERS NEVER STARTED BACK UP AND I HAD TO TAKE MY CAR TO THE SHOP. THE DEALERSHIP INFORMED ME THAT GM HAS A RECALL ON 2013 MODEL (WIPERS/MOTOR) BUT NO OTHERS. THIS IS DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY USE THE SAME PART (MOTORS) FOR THE WIPERS IN OTHER MODEL.
I JUST PURCHASED A USED 2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX FROM RICK HENDRICKS CHEVY DULUTH. SINCE I HAVE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE, I NOTICED LOUD NOISES COMING FROM THE BRAKES WHEN APPLYING PRESSURE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT WHILE DRIVING IT MAKES A KNOCKING SOUND. I WAS TOLD BY ONE OF THERE MECHANICS IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT IT WAS OK! THE EQUINOX IS KNOWN TO MAKE A LITTLE NOISE WHILE DRIVING. IT HAS BEEN TO THERE SHOP OVER 3 TIMES FOR SEVERAL DAYS AT A TIME IN LESS THAN A MONTH AND STILL THE PROBLEM CONTINUES. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY FIXED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE NOISE WAS GONE AND THE BRAKES WERE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION. WHEN I ASKED FOR PROOF THEY WERE UNABLE TO PROVIDE IT. I AM NOT A MECHANIC BUT I DO NOT BELIEVE FOR ONE MINUTE THIS VEHICLE SHOULD BE MAKING ANY NOISE AT ALL LET ALONE NOISES WHEN YOU APPLY PRESSURE TO THE BRAKES. I HAVE REITERATED OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO RICK HENDRICKS CHEVY DULUTH THAT THERE IS A BRAKE ISSUE GOING ON WITH THE VEHICLE THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE DEADLY AND I WAS TOLD THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. I TRY TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF DRIVING I DO TO IMPORTANT PLACES ONLY SEEING AS THE NOISE IS STILL THERE.

THE SOLENOID VALVE INTAKE WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED A MONTH LATER. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING THAT GENERATED MULTIPLE CODES. THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE OF THE ACTUAL FAILURE OR REPAIRS THAT WERE NEEDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,476.
THE TAIL GAIT WINDOW EXPLODED FROM NO REASON. IT HAD BEEN SITTING IN SON AT WORK AND CRACKED INTO THOUSANDS OF LITTLE PIECES WITH A 2 FOOT BY 8 INCH SECTION EXPLODING AND LIVING A HOLE. MY DEALER, DALE EARNHARDT GMC TALLAHASSEE FL, REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING SAYING IT IS NOT A GM PROBLEM. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING AND THERE ARE LOTS OF OTHER INSTANCES OF THIS HAPPENING TO OTHER GMC AND OTHER MANUFACTURER MODELS. MY CAR WAS STATIONARY AND IN MY PARKING LOT AT WORK.

THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED (MATTHEWS CHEVROLET IN BUCYRUS, OH) AND STATED THAT THERE WERE NO PARTS AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 32,000.
RV TOWED 2015 EQUINOX DEVELOPING VIBRATION AND HARD TO HOLD ON HIGHWAY. HARD TO STEER WITHOUT OVER-CORRECTING

A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
DESIGN FLAW BETWEEN THE PEDALS AND THE SEAT HAVE CAUSED ME TO HAVE SCIATIC PAIN. I HAD THE CAR JUST SHORT OF 2 YEARS BECAUSE I COULDN'T TAKE THE PAIN ANYMORE. THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE PEDALS BOTH VERTICALLY AND HORIZONTALLY ARE A PROBLEM. I ONLY RELATED THE PROBLEM TO THE CAR WHEN I WAS NOT DRIVING THE CAR FOR A THREE WEEK PERIOD, MY PAIN WAS GONE. I STARTED DRIVING THE CAR AGAIN AND THE PAIN RETURNED. I TESTED IT AGAIN, BY RENTING A DIFFERENT VEHICLE FOR A 5 DAY PERIOD AND THE PAIN WENT AWAY AGAIN AND A DAY AFTER RESUMING DRIVING MY EQUINOX THE PAIN RETURNED. I TRADED THE CAR IN THIS PAST WEEKEND (20170225) SO I COULD LIVE MY LIFE PAIN FREE.
ON 1/2/2017 I POSSIBLY TOTALED A 2015 CHEVY EQUINOX AND I WASN'T EVEN IN IT. I AM THE FIRE CHIEF IN MY TOWN AND RESPONDED TO A NON-RESPONSIVE INDIVIDUAL CALL. WHEN I ARRIVED I WAS APPARENTLY DISTRACTED BY THE CALL TYPE AND WHAT WE WERE GOING TO BE DOING NEXT AND LEFT THE VEHICLE IN DRIVE AND EXITED THE VEHICLE. IT WAS COLD SO I LEFT MY VEHICLE RUNNING. THE CAR SAT THERE FOR ABOUT 10 - 15 MINUTES IN DRIVE BUT NOT MOVING. I CAME OUT OF THE HOUSE TO MAKE A PHONE CALL, ONLY TO SEE MY VEHICLE START TO ROLL FORWARD AND THEN GAIN MOMENTUM AND TRAVEL INTO THE WOODS AND DOWN A RAVINE. WHAT IF THERE HAD NOT BEEN ANYTHING TO STOP IT. HOW FAR WOULD IT HAVE GONE? WHAT IF IT HAD BEEN IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA? WHAT IF IT HAD BEEN A MOTHER WHO GOT OUT FOR SOMETHING BUT LEFT HER KIDS IN THE CAR. THE TECHNOLOGY EXISTS TODAY ON MY RIDING LAWN MOWER THAT IF I AM NOT IN THE SEAT IT SHUTS OFF. SHOULD VEHICLES NOT HAVE THE SAME TECHNOLOGY TO KEEP THIS KIND OF ACCIDENT FROM HAPPENING? YES, I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE EXTRA SECOND TO MAKE SURE IT WAS IN PARK, YES I COULD HAVE SET THE EMERGENCY BRAKE (WHICH I DEFINITELY WILL IN THE FUTURE FOR ANY VEHICLE I LEAVE RUNNING). BUT HUMANS ARE NOT INFALLIBLE AS I FOUND OUT. IT WAS A SICKENING FEELING TO WATCH AND NOW I AM JUST HOPING IT DOES NOT HAVE SIGNIFICANT RAMIFICATIONS FOR MY EMPLOYMENT. MY INCIDENT IS PAST, BUT IF SOMETHING COULD BE DONE TO PREVENT A RECURRENCE FROM HAPPENING TO SOMEONE ELSE THEN I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT I AM PART OF IT. *TR
CAR CONTINUALLY RUNS MY BATTERY DOWN. RADIO MALFUNCTIONS, SEATBELT ALARMS GO OFF. CAR WILL START AT HOME AND I TRAVEL SOMEWHERE IT WON'T START JUST CLICKING. I'LL BE DRIVING BY MYSELF AND SEATBELT ALARM GOES OFF. ONE EVENING MY WHILE PARKED IN THE PARKING SPOT THE LIGHTS KEPT TURNING OFF AND ON I THOUGHT SOMEONE HAD BROKEN INTO MY CAR AND WAS PLAYING WITH THE LIGHTS. THE CAR IS A 2015 WITH ONLY 58K MILES.
I HIT A DEER GOING AT LEAST 60 MILES AN HOUR. DAMAGED THE RIGHT FRONT OF VEHICLE ( APPROX. $8,000 IN DAMAGE) AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPOLY BUT SEAT BELTS WOULD NOT RETRACT AND MESSAGE SAID THE AIR BAGS HAD DEPLOYED AND THERE WAS FOUL ODOR AS IF THEY HAD.
VEHICLE WAS STRUCK IN THE FRONT AND RIGHT SIDE BY ANOTHER VEHICLE AS DRIVER WAS CROSSING A TWO-LANE CITY HIGHWAY. THE SEAT BELTS WERE ON,BUT NONE OF THE FRONT OR SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED.THE DRIVER SUFFERED A MILD CONCUSSION AS A RESULT OF BEING THROWN AROUND AND BRUISED LEG. PASSENGER WAS THROWN AROUND,ALSO, RESULTING IN BOTH BEING CHECKED OUT AT THE ER.THE VEHICLE WAS DECLARED A TOTAL LOSS BY INSURANCE COMPANY.

THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP AND RACK FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT WHEN ADDING FUEL, IT BEGAN TO LEAK OUT OF THE FUEL TERMINAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 20,000.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 13,000. AFTER AN ACCIDENT, THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END INCLUDING PART OF THE FRAME. INSIDE THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED AT TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TOTALED DUE TO THE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR, PART OF THE FRAME AND FRONT END.

THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES AND THE BATTERY HAD TO BE REPLACED FOUR TIMES WITHIN FOUR YEARS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 25,000.
ALTHOUGH MY EQUINOX IS JUST A YEAR OLD I'M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE STABILI-TRAK AND POWER STEERING. THE SERVICE LIGHT FOR BOTH OF THESE KEEPS COMING ON AND BOTH KEEP GOING OUT WHILE I DRIVE WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. ALSO MY ELECTRONIC PANEL KEEPS GOING OUT. I KNOW THESE MUST BE A MANUFACTORY DEFECT BUT I'M GETTING NO WHERE WITH THEM. PLEASE HELP!
MY 2015 EQUINOX HAS SPOTS ALL OVER THE REAR WINDSHIELD. I'VE BEEN TO 2 DIFFERENT DEALERS AND HAVE HAD NO SUCCESS. THE SPOTS APPEAR TO BE FADING SPOTS INSIDE THE WINDOW GLASS, CANNOT WIPE THEM OFF OR NO AMOUNT OF CLEANING WORKS. WHEN DRIVING IN CERTAIN LIGHT, THE SPOTS ARE VERY DISTRACTING AND CAUSE A VISUAL PTOBLEM. BOTH DEALERS MORE OR LESS SAID IT'S MY PROBLEM. MY CAR ONLY HAS 10,000 MILES AND I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOMEONE CAN'T HELP.
