HAD THE CAR FOR ABOUT A MONTH WHEN IT FIRST DID THIS GOING DOWN MY DRIVEWAY AT 5-10 MPH AND HIT A MUD PUDDLE. I TRIED TO TURN OUT ONTO THE RD AND ALMOST WENT IN DITCH BECAUSE THE CAR WOULDN'T STEER. IT HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES AND A COUPLE OF TIMES THE CAR ACTUALLY SHUT OFF. SOMETIMES THE CHARGING SYSTEM LIGHT COMES ON. THIS IS SO VERY DANGEROUS. GLAD TO SEE IN NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THE ISSUE. *TR
ON JUNE 22, 2012 AS I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE REDUCED ENGINE POWER AND TRACTION CONTROL MESSAGE POPPED UP ON THE DASH. I KNOW MY CAR SLOWED DOWN A LOT AND THEN PICKED UP SPEED AGAIN. I NOTICE THAT EACH TIME I PRESSED ON THE PETAL TO STOP AT A LIGHT OR STOP SIGN THE CAR WOULD JERK FORWARD. I DID NOT THINK TOO MUCH OF IT UNTIL MY HUSBAND THEN DROVE IT AND SAID THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO HIM AND THE CAR WAS DRIVING REALLY ROUGH. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND SEE THAT LOTS OF CHEVY OWNERS HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM. PLEASE ENFORCE A RECALL AS THIS IS NOT SAFE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING ON A FREEWAY. *TR
AS I WAS DRIVING, ALL OF A SUDDEN THE SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AND THEN ENGINE POWER REDUCED LIGHT CAME ON. THIS CAUSED MY CAR TO SLOW DOWN WITHOUT WARNING WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN A DANGEROUS SITUATION HAD I BEEN ON A BUSY HIGHWAY WHICH FORTUNATELY I WASN'T. I READ UP ON THIS AND NOTICED THAT THIS IS HAPPENING QUITE OFTEN AND THIS SHOULD REALLY BE REMEDIED BEFORE AN UNFORTUNATE DEATH OR INJURY OCCURS FROM THIS. *TR
I WAS MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN. I SLOWED TO TURN. A CAR WAS COMING BUT FAR AWAY. THE "REDUCED ENGINE POWER" LIGHT CAME ON AND I HAD MINIMAL POWER TO COMPLETE THE TURN AND WAS NEARLY STRUCK IN THE SIDE. I HAD THE DECREASED POWER, ONLY AFTER COMPLETING MY TURN DID I STOP AND NOTICE THE LIGHT HAD COME ON. MY CAR HAS SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASED POWER AND ACCELERATION. IT IS INTERMITTENT. I HAD A VERY UNSAFE DRIVE BACK HOME. I WISH I WOULD HAVE HAD IT TOWED BECAUSE IT WAS INTERMITTENT DECREASE OF POWER. *TR
CAR WAS JUST STARTED, IN PARKING LOT, GETTING READY TO DRIVE AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHUTDOWN COMPLETELY. COULDN'T TAKE KEY OUT, OR RESTART, NO LIGHTS, NO ELECTRICAL ACTIVITY AT ALL, BUT IT HAD JUST BEEN RUNNING. AFTER SEVERAL MINUTES, IT ALL CAME BACK ON AND RESTART, AND DROVE OK. THERE HAD BEEN BATTERY PROBLEMS IN THE PAST, CORROSION ON TERMINAL, WHICH WAS REPAIRED. THE BATTERY CABLE WHERE THE WIRE ENTERS THE POSITIVE TERMINAL WAS NOT COMPLETELY TIGHT. THE INTERNET HAS REPORTS FROM SEVERAL PEOPLE REPORTING THIS SAME EVENT ON IMPALAS, OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT MODEL YEARS. MOST OF THESE THOUGH, IT HAPPENED WHILE THEY WERE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, AND SOME REPORTED ACCIDENTS THAT RESULTED. PRIOR TO ALL THE MODERN ELECTRONICS, IF THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING AND THE ALTERNATOR WAS WORKING, THE ENGINE WOULD NEVER JUST SHUT DOWN EVEN IF THE BATTERY CONNECTION WAS BAD. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION, WHERE THE CAR CAN JUST SHUT OFF AND THE OPERATOR LOSES ALL POWER SYSTEMS. NO POWER STEERING, EXTREMELY DIFFICULT BRAKING, AND THE POSSIBILITY OF THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKING (THOUGH THE LATTER DID NOT HAPPEN TO US). WHEN OPERATING THE CAR IN HILLY OR MOUNTAINOUS ROADS, WHERE THERE ARE STEEP DROP OFFS ON SHOULDER SIDE, AND SEMI-TRUCKS COMING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION, SURELY THIS HAS POTENTIAL AS DEADLY SITUATION. WOULD LIKE TO SEE REDUNDANCY, IF ALTERNATOR IS PRODUCING, DON'T SHUT DOWN ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. RATHER, JUST GIVE WARNING. ALSO, BE SURE THAT NO CAR WOULD EVER LOCK THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS MALFUNCTION. I AM AFRAID TO HAVE MY WIFE DRIVE THE CAR UNTIL A NEW BATTERY CABLE IS INSTALLED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE KEY FAILED TO EJECT FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH AND REMAINED IN THE OFF POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC WAS ABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION AND STATED THAT THE LINKAGE IN THE GEAR SHIFT FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THREE MONTHS LATER, THE CONTACT EJECTED THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION WHILE IN THE ON POSITION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT AND THE DEALER STATED THAT THE LOWER CONTROL ARM FAILURE CAUSED THE SUB FRAME TO CRACK. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER IN REGARDS TO NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 12V377 (SUSPENSION), BUT WAS TOLD THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 79,000. *TR
SHIFTER LOCKED AND WOULD NOT GO INTO ANY GEAR. SERVICE FOUND BROKEN WIRE AT TRANSMISSION SHIFTER. THEY REMOVED CENTER CONSOLE AND REPAIRED WIRE. *TR
I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 50 MILES AN HOUR AND "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL" AND "REDUCED ENGINE POWER" LIGHTS CAME ON. I SLOWED DOWN TO 40 AND WAS TRYING TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC AND THE CAR DOWNSHIFTED REALLY HARD AND DIED. RIGHT AS IT DIED ANOTHER LIGHT CAME ON, SOMETHING ABOUT THE THROTTLE. I WAS ON A 4 LANE BRIDGE DURING RUSH HOUR. HAD THE CAR TOWED TO THE LOCAL CHEVY DEALER. WHEN THEY GOT IT, IT STARTED RIGHT UP, BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. THEY HAD THE CAR FOR 3 DAYS AND COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. SINCE THEN IT HAS HAPPENED 5 MORE TIMES. *TR
I OWN A 2008 CHEVY IMPALA WHICH HAS BEEN HAVING COMPUTER PROBLEMS FOR 1 YR NOW. IT READS OUT REDUCED ENGINE POWER AND THE CAR WONT GO FASTER THAN 40 MPH. IVE HAD IT FIXED BUT THEN COMES RIGHT BACK UP, ONE MECHANIC SAYS TO CLEAN THE THROTTLE AND ANOTHER SAYS ITS SENSORS. THIS IS BECOMING QUITE A PROBLEM AND NOBODY CAN FIX IT PERMANENTLY. IT IS A SERIOUS SAFTEY ISSUE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I TRANSPORT GRANDCHILDREN AROUND AND THE CAR LOOSES POWER OUT OF NOWHERE,THEN JUST SHUTS DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. I CANT KEEP PAYING ALL THIS MONEY FOR IT TO JUST HAPPEN OVER AND OVER WITH NO RESULTS. WHEN IS THIS GOING TO BE ON THE RECALL LIST? I WENT ONLINE TO FIND OUT THERE ARE ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME EXACT ISSUE. PLEASE HELP ME? I CANT AFFORD TO KEEP PAYING FOR THIS WHEN ITS NEVER ACTUALLY BEEN FIXED. INSIDE TREAD OF EACH BACK TIRE WEARS OUT PREMATURELY BECAUSE OF AN ADJUSTMENT THAT CANT BE MADE TO THE REAR WHEELS, ALL POLICE VEHICLES HAVE BEEN REPAIRED FOR THIS DEFECT AS A SPINDLE ROD WITH AN ADJUSTER WAS PUT IN TO CORRECT IT, I OWN A 2007 AND 2008 AND BOTH CARS R DOING THIS WHY SHOULD THE CONSUMER BE STUCK FOR A PART THAT SHOULD BE PUT IN AT MANUFACTURE TIME. OUT OF NOWHERE MY DOOR LOCK ACTUATORS FOR ALL THREE PASSENGER DOORS ARE NOT WORKING NEITHER IS MY TRUNK OPENING AND TO MAKE IT WORSE IM SITTING IN MY JOB PARKING LOT WITH THE A/C ON WAITING FOR MY BREAK TO BE OVER AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CAR STARTS BLOWING AIR FROM THE OUTSIDE INSIDE THE CAR AND I LOOKED AT MY DASH AND MY TEMP LEVEL WAS RISING TO IN BETWEEN 1/2 AND 3/4 GOT OUT CHECK COOLANT WAS FINE AND EVERYTHING ELSE CHECKED FINE BUT NOW EVERYTIME I SIT IN MY CAR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AND MY A/C ON IT ONLY STAYS ON FOR ABOUT 20 MINS, THEN THE A/C CUT OFF, STARTS BLOWING HOT AIR, AND THE A/C NOR THE RECIRCULATION WILL ENGAGE IT BLINKS. AND TO MAKE IT WORSE I SMELL FUEL ON MY OIL DIPSTICK AND MY CAR IS DRINKING FUEL LIKE WATER SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. *TR

THE CAR HAD BEEN LEAPING FORWARD WHEN YOU WOULD DEPRESS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AT A STOP LIGHT OR STOP SIGN. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET AND THE WORD ENGINE POWER REDUCED APPEARED ALONG WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND SEVERAL DAYS LATER THE CHECK ENGINE LITE WENT OUT. RESEARCHED THE NHTSA WEBSITE AND INTERNET AND FOUND THAT SEVERAL COMPLAINTS HAD BEEN LOGGED ALONG WITH SEVERAL SERVICE BULLETINS. I CALLED THE CHEVY DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CAR HAD BEEN PURCHASED AND WAS TOLD TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE. AFTER ARRIVING AT THE DEALERSHIP ON SATURDAY MAY 25TH AND STATING THE SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT THEIR ARE MANY BULLETINS OUT THERE. HOWEVER THE DEALERSHIP WAS PROVIDED A NUMBER BUT FAILED TO LOOKUP THE BULLETIN. THE ISSUE WAS A FAILED CODE P2138 SET. DUE TO A FAULTY ACCELERATOR POSITION SENSOR. REPLACED PEDAL. THE FIRST PRICE QUOTED WAS LESS THAN $200.00 AND THE TOTAL BILL WAS $280.77. AN ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS A PART THAT IS DESIGNED BY THE MAKERS OF AN AUTOMOBILE THAT SHOULD NOT BE FAULTY, HOW COULD AN OWNER CAUSE AN ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO BE FAULTY OR BAD. THIS NEEDS TO BE A NATIONAL INVESTIGATION. *TR
ON FRIDAY 5/17/2013 I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AS I USUALLY DO AND I MADE A STOP AT A RED LIGHT. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN AND I STEPPED ON THE GAS TO DRIVE, I FELT THE CAR JERK AND THEN THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND A MESSAGE POPPED UP AND SAID ENGINE POWER REDUCED. THE CAR STRUGGLED TO ACCELERATE OFTEN FEELING LIKE IT WAS GOING TO CUT OFF. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT TO A PARKING LOT WHERE I FELT SAFE IN SEE THE CAR BROKE DOWN AND I TURNED THE CAR OFF AN SAT THERE FOR ABOUT 10 MIN AND RESTARTED THE CAR. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT HOME BY TAKING THE HIGHWAY SINCE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN MAKE IT HOME. WHEN I GOT HOME THE LIGHT TURNED OFF AND I DROVE THE CAR AGAIN AND IT APPEARS TO BE DRIVING NORMAL. THEN AGAIN TODAY 5/19/2013, THE SAME THING HAPPENED BUT THIS TIME THE ENGINE LIGHT DID NOT SHUT OFF. I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE THE HIGHWAY HOME AND THE CAR WAS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE BECAUSE IT DOES NOT ACCELERATE THE WAY IT SHOULD. HIS POSES AS A DANGER TO MY LIFE AS WELL AS OTHERS. AFTER FURTHER RESEARCH ONLINE I DISCOVERS THAT MANY PEOPLE WITH CHEVY IMPALAS HAVE REPORTED AND COMPLAINED OUT THE SAME ISSUE THAT IT CAN POSSIBLY BE A SENSOR IN THE GAS PEDAL WHICH APPARENTLY ISN'T COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY AND ITS COSTLY CONSUMERS HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS TO CORRECT. THIS VEHICLE DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE RECALLED AS IT IS A SAFETY THREAT. *TR

THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVEN OTHER TIMES AT VARIOUS SPEEDS AND ALWAYS WHEN THE GROUND WAS WET. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
I HAVE READ MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS SIMILAR TO MINE . I WAS DRIVING YESTERDAY AND THE "SERVICE STABILITRAK, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL" WARNINGS CAME ON. AFTER A FEW MINUTES "ENGINE POWER REDUCED" WARNING CAME ON AND THE CAR WOULD NOT RUN OVER 50 MPH. THIS IS ON A 2008 CHEVROLET IMPALA. I WAS DRIVING 45 MPH AND WHEN THE LIGHTS COME ON ,THEY JUST AS QUICKLY TURN OFF AND ON AGAIN. THE CAR SHOOK AND THE THROTTLE WAS A BIT OFF. IT WAS VERY SCARY TO DRIVE, ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS HAPPENED AT NIGHT AND IT IS NOT THE FIRST INCIDENT.AS OF TODAY, THIS IS THE 5TH TIME I HAVE DEALT WITH "REDUCED ENGINE POWER"/"SERVICE STABILITRAK". SUCH A SAFETY ISSUE. INSTEAD OF BEING SCARED OF GETTING INTO AN ACCIDENT, I'M FEARFUL I WILL BE THE ONE CAUSING THE PILE UP. *TR

MORE RECENTLY, AT TIMES CAR WILL NOT TURN OVER OR CRANK AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. THEN SUDDENLY THE CAR CRANKS AND AFTER SOME TIME HAS PASSED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT SHUTS OFF. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE BATTERY. I REPLACED THE BATTERY AT THE DEALERSHIP BUT IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM. SO I TOOK THE CAR TO ANOTHER MECHANIC AND HE TOLD ME IT WAS THE IGNITION 1 SWITCH CIRCUIT 2 (CODE P1682). *TR

I HAVE A 2008 CHEVY IMPALA. STARTING LAST MONTH (MAY 2013) THE SERVICE TRACTION LIGHT AND REDUCE ENGINE POWER LIGHTS STARTED COMING ON. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE PLACE WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND IT CAME BACK THAT IT WAS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. IT WAS REPLACED AND 5 DAYS LATER THE LIGHTS WERE BACK ON AGAIN. I CALLED THE SHOP AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT BACK TO THEM ON MONDAY BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE SHOP AND THE LIGHTS WEREN'T ON. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT GET A READING ON THE CAR AND TO COME PICK IT UP. I DROVE OFF THE LOT AND 3 DAYS LATER THE LIGHTS WERE BACK ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED EVERY WEEK SINCE THEY REPLACED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. WHEN I TOOK IT IN INITIALLY THEY SAID IT WAS EITHER THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL OR THE THROTTLE. ON FRIDAY JUNE 14TH THE CAR STOPPED THE SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM LIGHT, REDUCED ENGINE POWER LIGHT AND STARTING DISABLED SERVICE/CHECK THROTTLE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR STOPPED. IT WAS STILL RUNNING BUT WHEN I PRESSED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IT WOULD NOT MOVE. I CUT IT OFF AND SAT FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES. I STARTED IT AND DROVE STRAIGHT TO THE LOT IT WAS FRIDAY AT 4:45 PM THEY CLOSED AT 5:00 THE GUY SAID BRING IT BACK MONDAY (WOW REALLY). I PARKED THE CAR AGAIN ALL WEEKEND DIDN'T START IT UNTIL MONDAY. THE LIGHTS WERE OFF WHEN I GOT IN IT ON MONDAY AS SOON AS I BACKED OUT OF MY DRIVE WAY THE LIGHTS POPPED BACK ON AND IT WOULD ONLY GO 40 MPH. LUCKILY THE PLACE IS ABOUT 3 MILES FROM MY HOUSE WHEN I GOT THERE THEY WEREN'T OPEN YET SO I SAT THERE. WHEN THEY FINALLY OPENED I DROVE IN AND TOLD THE GUY WHO I WAS. THE DROVE THE CAR AROUND SEVERAL TIMES AND COULD NOT GET THE LIGHTS TO COME BACK ON. IT IS NOW TUESDAY AND I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CAR BACK. THEY SAY THAT THEY TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THEM LOOK AT IT. I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT I NEED MY CAR TO GET BACK AND FORTH TO WORK. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER ACTUATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 89,000. *TR

THE CAR WAS PERFORMING WONDERFUL FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. THIS PARTICULAR DAY, I DROVE TO THE STORE, PUT THE CAR IN PARK, ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION AND IT WAS STUCK. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, I WAS ABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST ONCE WEEKLY, TO ONCE DAILY. THE KEY WOULD NOT SWITCH COMPLETELY OFF LEAVING THE BATTERY SOURCE TO DRAIN AND HAVING TO GET BOOST OR REPLACE BATTERIES MORE OFTEN, WHEN THE RECALL WAS ISSUED, I WAS SOMEWHAT RELIEVED, THINKING THAT THIS WOULD RESOLVE THE ISSUE. FAST FORWARD TO OCTOBER 2014, I THE KEY WAS STUCK IN THE IGNITION AGAIN ON THE PARTICULAR DAY I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR THERE SERVICE. THE SERVICE PERSON WITNESSED THE KEY STUCK IN THE IGNITION. I HAD TO LEAVE THE CAR THERE AND WITH SOME MANIPULATION, HE WAS ABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY AND COMPLETE THE SERVICE CALL. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGER WAS ADAMANT THAT THIS WAS NOT A RECALL ISSUE AND THAT PLACING A HOLE IN THE PLASTIC HUB OF THE KEY WAS TO RELIEVED THE WEIGHT TO PREVENT THE KEY FROM SWITCHING OFF WHILE DRIVE THE VEHICLE. NOW IT IS 2015 AND THIS IS A CONTINUED ISSUE WITH MY CAR. LATER ON THAT NIGHT, I WENT ONLINE AND DID SOME RESEARCH AND DISCOVERED THAT THERE ARE MANY OWNERS OF 2008 CHEVY IMPALAS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. FOUND THAT SHIFT LOCK CONTROL SOLENOID INOP. FOUND THAT GREEN WIRE MELTED ABOUT 12 INCHES FROM SHIFTER AND ALSO CONNECTOR FOR SHIFT LOCK CONTROL HAD HIGH RESISTANCE.. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I HAVE NEVER FEARED FOR MY LIFE LIKE I DID AT THIS TIME. AFTER DOING MY RESEARCH ONLINE, I HAVE FOUND MANY OTHERS HAVE BEEN IN MY SITUATION. I WAS TOLD THAT MY ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR HAS GONE BAD. I FEEL THAT GM SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND NEEDS TO REMEDY THE SITUATION BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET IMPALA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE DRIVER SIDE OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE FRONT PASSENGER SUSTAINED UNKNOWN INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
WHILE DRIVING, FAST OR SLOW, MY CAR WILL SLOW DOWN ABRUPTLY AND A "ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED" WARNING COMES UP ON THE LCD DASH. THIS HAS ALSO HAPPENED WHILE I'VE BEEN STANDING IDLE AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS. I AM AFRAID THAT ONE DAY MY CAR WILL STOP COMPLETELY WHILE I'M ON THE HIGHWAY, RESULTING IN A CRASH OF SOME SORT. *TR
