CHEV RECALL #16V507000 REPORTED A PROBLEM WITH THE AIR BAG SENSOR ON THE PASSENGER SEAT SIDE. I REPORTED THAT I HAD THE RECALL NOTICE BUT THAT I ALSO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE AIR BAG BUT ON THE DRIVER SIDE. WHEN THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON, I COULD GET IT TO TURN OFF BY MOVING THE DRIVER'S SEAT BACK AND FORTH AND/OR UP AND DOWN. THIS SEEMS TO BE THE SAME TYPE OF PROBLEM REPORTED IN THE RECALL FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT. AT THE DEALERSHIP,THE CAR COMPUTER VERIFIED THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG PROBLEM. WHEN I TOOK THE CARE IN FOR THE RECALL, THEY CHECKED THE PASSENGER SEAT WIRING UNDER WARRANTY BUT CHARGED ME $130.12 TO GET THE DRIVER'S SEAT WIRING FIXED. THEY SAID THE RECALL WAS ONLY FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT. SEEMS GM DOESN'T CARE IF THE DRIVER GETS KILLED OR INJURED.

"TAKATA RECALL" THIS TRACTION SERVICE CONTROL IS GOING TO GET SOMEONE KILLED IF IT HAVEN'T ALREADY!!!! IT COMES ON EVERYDAY AND, FEW MINUTES IT JUMP ON AND OFF! I HAVE TAKEN MY TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR TRACTION SERVICE CONTROL WHICH ALSO HAD A RECALL AND THEY TOLD ME I WAS OVER THE 120,000 MILES FOR THE THE RECALL. THE GUY ACT LIKE IT DIDN'T T DO IT WITH HIM. I CAN NOT PULL OUT IN FRONT OF ANYONE BECAUSE IT STALL OUT AND MAKE NOISE TO BAD, I CAN NOT BACK UPHILLS WITHOUT THIS BEING A PROBLEM. ABOUT A WEEK AGO, MY :SERVICE AIR BAG" LIGHT CAME ON WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY. I GOT HOME AND LOOKED AT THE LATEST RECALL NOTICE SENT VIA MAIL TO US AND SAW THE IGNITION RECALL COULD CAUSE A PROBLEM WITH THE AIRBAGS IF NOT REPAIRED SO I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A LOCAL DEALER. ONCE THERE I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS ANOTHER RECALL AND THEY WOULD FIX BOTH. I ASKED ABOUT THE LIGHT BUT WAS BLOWN OFF. THE CAR WAS REPAIRED AND I LEFT WITH THE LIGHT OFF. THE NEXT DAY THE LIGHT CAME ON BUT WHEN I SHUT OFF THE CAR IT WOULD GO AWAY. THIS HAS KEPT HAPPENING BUT SINCE YESTERDAY IT IS CONSTANT. I CALLED THE DEALER AND GM AND BOTH SAY THEY ISSUES ARE NOT RELATED. BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE ON LINE WITH THE SAME ISSUE. THE SECOND RECALL WAS FOR A PASSENGER SEAT SENSOR THAT COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SEAT BELT PRETENSIONS AND LOSS OF AIR BAGS! GM IS VERY BLAISE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS SAFETY. THIS IS ANOTHER ISSUE IN A LONG LIST OF PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD WITH THE IMPALA. TWO OUT OF FOUR DOOR LOCKS DO NOT WORK UNLESS YOU MANUALLY OPEN THEM, ONE OF MY SEAT WARMERS DOES NOT FUNCTION, ETC... THIS IS A POORLY MADE VEHICLE AND THE ISSUES ARE SAFETY IN NATURE.
I TOOK MY CAR TO AUTO MALL IN BRATTLEBORO VT FOR THE RECALL 36110 PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPANT SENSING. THEY HAD IT ALL DAY SAID THEY FIXED IT BUT THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND IT STILL DOESN'T SENSE ANYONE IN THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT. THEY ALSO GAVE ME A LIST OF 9 CODES THAT MY CAR NOW HAS BUT DIDN'T BACK IN JUNE 3 OF WHICH I KNOW ABOUT TIRE AND DEAD BATTERY IN MY REMOTE AND MY ACTUATOR DOOR, THE REST ALL HAVE TO DO WITH ELECTRIC ISSUES. I THINK STEMMING FROM THE ORIGINAL RECALL. I WOULDN'T PAY 90.00 TO HAVE IT CODED AGAIN SO I LOOKED UP THE CODES MYSELF AND THEY ARE ALL LOOP OPEN CIRCUIT AND ONE IS SECOND ROW SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER DEPLOYMENT CONTROL. SEEMS TO ME THAT THERE IS MORE THAN WRAPPING THE WIRES IS GOING TO FIX, I THINK IT ALL HAS TO DO WITH THE RECALL BUT THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING. RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL FOR ABOVE CAR FOR THE AIRBAG. THE RECALL IS #36110. IT STATES THAT DIC ALERTS MAY INTERMITTENTLY TURN ON AND OFF. THE DASHBOARD LIGHT ON MY CAR HAS BEEN DOING EXACTLY THAT. I BROUGHT IT TO CURRY CHEVROLET IN WHITE PLAINS, NY. THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT THE AIRBAG RECALL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE AIRBAG WARNING SIGN THAT WON'T TURN OFF AND WANTED TO CHARGE ME $700 TO FIX IT. THE CAR ONLY HAS $31,000 MILES ON IT. I WAS DRIVING AND SUDDENLY A SYMBOL FOR TRACTION STABILITY CAME ON AND THEN A WARNING SAYING LOW ENGINE POWER.
A FIX AIRBAG WARNING COMES UP ON THE DASHBOARD DISPLAY. IT IS INCONSISTENT- AS IT WILL COME ON WHEN STARTING THE CAR, BUT MOST OFTEN WHILE DRIVING. IT WILL STAY ON FOR 1 MINUTE TO MAYBE 5 MINUTES, THEN GOES OFF. IT STARTED ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND HAS COME ON APPROX 5 TIMES IN ABOUT 30 DIFFERENT USES OF THE CAR.
A TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON SAYS IT IS REDUCING SPEED AND THE CAR WILL LOOSE POWER AND JUST DIE. THIS IS SO DANGEROUS IT HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES ON THE FREEWAY WITH MY KIDS IN THE. I RECEIVED A SPECIAL NOTICE RECALL BUT WHEN I TOOK IT IN THEY SAID THAT SINCE I WAS OVER THE MILEAGE THEY COULD NOT DO THE REPAIR. THE KEY IS ALSO STUCK IN THE IGNITION AND WILL NOT COME OUT DRAINING THE BATTER, AAA HAS COME OUT TWICE TO SWITCH THE BATTERY OUT FOR ME. THERE IS ALWAS A CLICKING SOUND COMING FROM THE DASHBOARD.

THE FAILURE RECURRED RANDOMLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY WHEN THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AND MESSAGE CAME ACROSS SAYING SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL: THEN CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING RAPIDLY AT THE SAME TIME. FOLLOW BY A VERY LOUD KNOCKING NOISE FROM THE ENGINE. THEN SPEED WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. TURNED ON FLASHERS AND COASTED TO THE SHOULDER. VEHICLE HAD TROUBLES RESTARTING AND WOULD NOT MOVE. STEERING WHEEL WAS HARD TO TURN. TRIES TO DIE WHILE IDLING AFTER YOU GET IT TO START. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED - BUT NEVER ON THE FREEWAY WHICH WAS VERY SCARY. I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHO WAS ALREADY AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND SAID WITHOUT A WARRANTY I COULD NOT BE HELPED I COULD PAY $700 TO FIX IT THOUGH. THEY COULD HAVE CAUSED A DEATH WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THIS PROBLEM AND HOW QUICKLY YOU LOSE POWER I WAS LUCKY THIS TIME, BUT THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL SITUATION, UNBELIEVABLE.
SERVICE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT KEEPS INTERMITTENTLY COMING ON DURING OPERATION OF VEHICLE. THE CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED TWICE FOR THIS PROBLEM. UNDERSEAT HARNESS CONNECTIONS WERE TIGHTENED, BUT THAT HAS NOT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. PROBLEM BEGAN 4 MONTHS AGO. WARNING LIGHT WILL CLEAR ONCE ENGINE SHUTS OFF. A COMPLAINT HAS BEEN FILED WITH GM. AT THIS TIME, GM IS UNABLE TO TELL ME IF THE AIR BAG WOULD FUNCTION AS DESIGNED OR EVEN DEPLOY AT ALL IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.
FOR THE LAST YEAR OR SO I HAVE DEALT WITH SEVERAL ISSUES THAT STARTED HAPPENING ALL OF A SUDDEN AND ALL AT ONCE. FOR STARTERS, MY AIR BAG INDICATOR COME ON AND OFF WHEN I DRIVE AT ANY SPEED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC COULD NOT DIAGNOSE IT AND THE DEALERSHIP ATTEMPTED TO DIAGNOSE IT AND ALL HE SAID WAS I NEEDED TO REPLACE MY AIR BAGS WHICH WOULD HAVE COST ROUGHLY $3400.00. IN ADDITION TO THAT, MY ABS INDICATOR BEGAN GOING ON AND OFF AND HAS CAUSED MY CAR TO FEEL AS IF IT WAS ON A HYDROPLANE MODE. WHEN IT TURNS ON IT OCCASIONALLY MAKES MY CAR JERK ON THE ROAD. I WENT TO AN AUTO SUPPLY STORE FOR DIAGNOSIS AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO READING SO NOTHING WAS WRONG, DEALERSHIP SAID THE SAME. THE LIGHT SHUT OFF AND IT WAS LIKE DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN. ALSO, I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE DOOR ACTUATORS AT LEAST ONE TO TWO TIMES A YEAR BECAUSE THEY CONTINUE TO BREAK. FINALLY, MY NEW BATTERIES THE LAST FEW OF YEARS HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY DRAINED FOR NO APPARENT REASON AND I HAD TO REPLACE IT SEVERAL TIMES DUE TO DAMAGED BATTERIES EVEN THOUGH I REPLACE IT WITH BRAND NEW CAR BATTERIES.
TAKATA RECALL - DRIVER VANITY LIGHTS NO LONGER COME ON. SERVICE TIRE MONITOR SYSTEM MALFUNCTION AND CLICKING NOISE WHEN AC IS TURNED ON. CLICKING NOISE CONTINUE EVEN WHEN CAR IS OFF.
CAR IS CURRENTLY AT 134K MILES AND JUST GAVE ME A "REDUCED POWER ENGINE", "CHECK TRACTION CONTROL", AND A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I GOOGLED AROUND AND CAME ACROSS A LOT OF CHEVY IMPALAS AROUND THE SAME YEAR (07-10) ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. IT SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING WITH THE "ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITIONER PEDAL SENSOR. ALSO READING INTO IT, IT CLAIMS THAT THIS PROBLEM CAN CAUSE THE CAR TO SUDDENLY STOP FROM 60MPH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 20 OR ZERO. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO BEFORE SOMEONE IS HURT OR KILLED.
TAKATA RECALL - NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE TYPE IN MY CAR BUT THE AIR BAG ON THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS FAILED. I CONSTANTLY HAVE A SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT THAT COMES ON AND OFF. I HAVE RESEARCHED AND THIS SEEMS TO HAVE HAPPENED IN SEVERAL OF THIS YEAR AND MODEL, EVEN SOME RECALLS BUT NOT YET TO MY VIN
2009 CHEVROLET IMPALA. MARCH 2015 KEY FAILED TO DISENGAGE FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFT PARK FUSE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THIS AFTER THE RECALL FOR IGNITION SWITCH. ALSO ON MAY 27, 2016 CAR STARED HAVING LOUD CLICKING SOUND WHEN AIR VENT IS SET TO AIR FROM OUTSIDE OR WHEN OFF. COMES FROM PASSENGER SIDE DASH BOARD. UPON LOOKING THIS ISSUE UP ONLINE MANY HAVE STATED A BAD ACTUATOR BEING THE CAUSE. THIS DEFINITELY APPEARS TO BE A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. CONTINUES EVEN WHEN CAR IS OFF SINCE IT SWITCHES DIRECTLY BACK TO THAT SETTING. MILEAGE IS 78251
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL MODULE: ENGINE POWER REDUCED BY 50%" WARNING MESSAGE DISPLAYED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. MONTGOMERY CHEVROLET OF LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL AND THAT THERE WOULD BE NO SERVICE PROVIDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 125,000.
REDUCED ENGINE POWER APPEARED FOLLOWED BY CHECK TRACTION CONTROL. THEN SYMBOL FOR CHECK TRACTION CONTROL AND ENGINE COMPLETELY IN PASSING LANE ON INTERSTATE 80. CHECK ENGINE SYMBOL ALSO LIT, CAR COMPLETELY DIED AND WOULD NOT RESTART. APPROX 15 MIN LATER, IT DID START WITH CHECK ENGINE SYMBOL LIGHTED.
WHILE DRIVING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON AND REDUCE ENGINE POWER READS ACROSS THE SCREEN. CAR SLOWS TO 45 MILES AN HOUR AND TURNS OFF. I HAVE HAD THE THROTTLE REPLACED AND THE THROTTLE BODY REPLACED. THE PROBLEM STILL ON GOING....?
WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK MY CAR STARTED JERKING THE ESC CAME ON ENGINE LIGHT TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM PULLED OVER ALMOST GOT HIT BY TWO OTHER CARS . ALSO THE AIRBAG LIGHTS BEEN ON THE SENSORS HAVE ALL BEEN REPLACED AND NEW FRONT AIRBAGS.
THIS PROBLEM STARTED 2 YEARS AGO. MY CAR WOULD GIVE ME A WARNING "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL. ENGINE POWER REDUCED." THEN THE CAR WOULD SHUT OFF. I TOOK THE CAR TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHERE THE FIXED A SENSOR. THAT WAS AROUND A YEAR AGO. I TRAVEL A LOT FOR MY JOB AND TODAY I ARRIVED IN PORTLAND OREGON HAD PULLED OFF THE INTERSTATE TO GET FUEL, AND ONCE I PULLED OUT TO THE EXTREMELY BUSY INTERSECTION MY CAR DID THIS AGAIN! I WAS STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT AND ONCE IT TURNED GREEN BOOM CAR DIED DUE TO TRACTION CONTROL. SO NOW I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A VERY BUSY ROAD WITH TRAFFIC GOING AROUND 45 MPH ALMOST REAR ENDING ME. I TOOK THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION FOR ABOUT 45 SECONDS AND TRED STARTING IT WHICH WORKED. FOOLISHLY I THOUGHT I COULD AT LEAST MAKE IT TO THIS PARKING LOT RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET WHEN I WENT ABOUT 500 FEET IT DID IT AGAIN, IN AN EVEN WORSE SPOT. I TOOK THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION AGAIN FOR 45 SECONDS STARTED THE CAR AND GOT INTO THE PARKING LOT WHICH WAS NOW 50 FEET FROM ME. I SEARCHED ONLINE FOR WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS AND THAT'S WHERE I FOUND AT LEAST 50 OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AND TRYING TO GET GM TO HELP. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO MY JOB IF I CAN NOT GET FROM PLACE TO PLACE SAFELY. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO KILL PEOPLE.
I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE, GOING THE SPEED LIMIT. I HAD THE CRUISE CONTROL ON WHEN THE CAR ALERTED ME THAT THE ENGINE POWER REDUCED AND SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE AS THESE MESSAGES HAVE APPEARED ON MY CAR BEFORE. I TRAVELED ANOTHER 40 MILES ALONG THE INTERSTATE AND WAS ABOUT A MILE FROM MY EXIT. I WAS PASSING AN OVER-SIZED TRACTOR TRAILER GOING UP HILL WHEN THE CAR DISPLAYED STARTING DISABLED THROTTLE SERVICE AND THE CAR SHUT OFF. I WAS IN THE LEFT LANE AND HAD TO INITIATE MY EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND WAIT FOR THE TRACTOR TRAILER TO PASS ME SO I COULD MOVE THE CAR OVER TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER. AS THE CAR WAS COMPLETELY SHUTOFF AND WAS JUST COASTING, I HAD TO FIGHT THE STEERING WHEEL TO CONTROL THE CAR. I FEEL LIKE HAD MY SITUATION WAS JUST A LITTLE DIFFERENT, THE CAR COULD HAVE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSTATE WITH CARS TRAVELING 70+ MPH AND POSSIBLY CAUSED A CRASH. I'VE ALREADY REPLACED THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR AND THAT REMEDIED THE SITUATION FOR A COUPLE MONTHS. THIS A HIGHLY DANGEROUS OCCURRENCE THAT I KNOW IS COMMON WITH THE IMPALA'S AS I'VE HEARD IT HAPPENING TO SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE OWNING IMPALA'S.
SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON. INTERMITTENT SOME TIMES, THEN STAYS ON FOR WEEKS. 63,000 MILES.
ONLY DRIVER DOOR UNLOCKS WITH A KEY. THREE OTHER DOORS (DRIVER AND TWO REAR DOORS) DO NOT UNLOCK ELECTRICALLY HALF OF THE TIME. IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE IF USING CONTROLS ON DOOR OR REMOTE. THIS OF COURSE REFERS TO BEING STATIONARY. I BELIEVE THIS IS A CONCERN BECAUSE IT REQUIRES HOPPING OVER THE FRONT SEATS TO UNLOCK THE REAR DOORS, (WHICH HAVE THE MANUAL BUTTON AT THE REAR OF THE DOOR) MAKING IT EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO REACH. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNSAFE WHEN THERE ARE CHILD SEATS INVOLVED, OR WHEN A PERSON MUST BE QUICKLY REMOVED FOR ANY REASON SUCH AS HEALTH ISSUE, ACCIDENT OR DANGER. CLIMBING OVER THE SEAT MAY NOT BE AN OPTION IF SICK OR INJURED PEOPLE ARE IN THE FRONT, BUT NOT NECESSARILY REMOVABLE. WHAT IF CHILD LOCKS PREVENT UNLOCKING FROM THE INSIDE, AND REMOTE OR DOOR CONTROLS ARE THE ONLY WAY TO UNLOCK THE REAR DOORS? I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS A PREVALENT AND EXPENSIVE TO CORRECT PROBLEM. MY CAR (EVEN THOUGH IT IS 9 YEARS OLD) HAS LESS THAN 35,000 MILES ON IT, AND IS IN VERY FINE SHAPE OTHERWISE, BUT HAS THREE DOORS WITH THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS A FAULTY PRODUCT! THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS IN THE ON-LINE COMMUNITY TELL ME THIS PROBLEM DESERVES BEING FIXED BY THE MANUFACTURER. IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME AT LEAST 30 TIMES, INCLUDING TODAY, AND I HAVE ONLY HAD THE CAR FOR A LITTLE OVER A YEAR.

RETURNED TO DEALER, SAID COST TO REPAIR WITH NEW HARNESS IN THE DRIVERS SEAT WOULD BE AROUND 250.00 MORE. THE GENERAL HAS A HUGE PROBLEM HERE.

THERE HAS BEEN AN CONSENT ISSUE OCCURRING WITH MY VEHICLE'S AIRBAG LIGHT COMING ON. WHEN STATIONARY AND WHEN INITIALLY MOVING, THE VEHICLE MAKES A LOUD CLICKING SOUND WHICH SEEMS TO ORIGINATE INSIDE DASH BOARD. UPON LOOKING THIS ISSUE UP ONLINE MANY HAVE STATED A BAD ACTUATOR BEING THE CAUSE. THIS DEFINITELY APPEARS TO BE A MANUFACTURER DEFECT.

I WAS WAITING AT A STOP LIGHT. WHEN THE SIGNAL TURNED GREEN, I TURNED AND AS I WAS TURNING MY CAR BEGAN TO DECELERATE AND SHUT DOWN. I HAD TO STEER HARD TO PULL OVER TO GET OUT OF TRAFFIC. I PULLED ALONGSIDE THE ROAD. THINKING MAYBE IT WAS LOW ON FUEL, I HAD MY BROTHER GET GAS AND WE PUT GAS IN IT. HOWEVER, IT WOULD NOT START. SAT FOR MAYBE 20 MINUTES TO SEE IF IT. NOTHING HAPPENED. MY SISTER CAME TO GIVE ME A JUMP THINKING THAT I NEEDED ONE. HOWEVER, NO LUCK AT ALL. HAD TO PULL THE CAR HOME. THE MECHANIC THOUGHT THAT IT WAS MY STARTER, PUT THE STARTER ON AND STILL NOTHING. THE END RESULT, MY ENGINE HAS SEIZED ON ME!!

FIRST ISSUE OCCURRED WAS "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL" THEN AT THE SAME TIME "ENGINE POWER REDUCED". THIS OCCURRED OFF AND ON FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS. HAD THE PART SUGGESTED REPLACED WHICH WAS THE THROTTLE. LAST WEEKEND I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE "STARTING DISABLED SERVICE THROTTLE" MESSAGE APPEARED AND I LOST ALL POWER. IT WAS A DANGEROUS SITUATION BECAUSE I WAS PASSING SOMEONE AT THE TIME IN THE LEFT LANE AND THEN LOST ALL STEERING, BRAKES, POWER, ETC... I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS AND MANY PEOPLE WITH SAME CAR AROUND SAME MILES HAVE EXPERIENCED SAME ISSUE. SOMETHING YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK INTO. I HAVEN'T DRIVEN MY CAR SINCE THIS OCCURRED AND I AM HAVING IT TOWED TO THE DEALER AND THEY WILL LOOK AT IT ON TUESDAY 1/26/16.
